- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: On Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: For decades, decades, we've been lectured to.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: We've been patronized by European leaders, by globalist think tanks, by legacy media anchors that America needs Europe far more than Europe needs America, that we actually owe them our protection, that the future of NATO is sacred that the transatlantic alliance must never ever be questioned despite European nations repeatedly skimping on their funding.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: And Donald Trump, for the second time in his presidency, just looked at all of that and simply said two words, no more.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: And the results, the results were spectacular.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Germany's economy is imploding, Italy's Maloney is an Iraq and a hard place, Europe is paying double for energy while Trump leverages America's energy dominance over the entire continent, and the nationalist wave that Trump has been quietly nurturing across Europe is closer to power than it's ever been.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: A new world is dawning, and you have a front row seat.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: Hey gang, it's me, Donk, to Steve, your patron professor here to celebrate yet another glorious triumphant day in the Trumpian golden age that you made happen back in November 2024.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to front or see it on how you continue to change the world and ways you never even imagine you're able to do, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: Trump's war with NATO is one of the longest running feuds in modern western politics.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: It began in March of 2016.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: when then-candidate Trump met with the Washington Post editorial board and called NATO obsolete, saying it was designed many, many years ago, and it was unfair economically to the United States.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: And despite winning the presidency, the pressure campaign never really stopped.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: In 2018, he called to link with NATO members very unfair to the United States, and in 2019 he threatened Germany specifically with trade retaliation if it didn't boost its military spending.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: And at Davos, in January of 2025, just days after his second inauguration, he escalated dramatically, demanding NATO members double their target spending from 2% of GDP to 5%.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: to the ultimate threat, the ultimate power move, pulling American troops out of Europe.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: After NATO member nations refused to send naval forces to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, after Italy's Georgia Maloney to announce Trump for his criticism of Pope Leo.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: After Germany's Friedrich Matt, publicly attacked Trump, over Iran, actually claiming that Iran was humiliating American forces.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: Trump said officially enough.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: But the difference is time, he's not just talking.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's actually doing it.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: On May 1st, the Pentagon formally announced the withdrawal of 5,000 U.S. troops from Germany to be completed over the next six to 12 months.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: The order came directly from Secretary of War Pete Heggseth in direct response to German Chancellor Matt's publicly saying Iran was humiliating Washington over the Iran war.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: With friends like that, who needs enemies, right?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: Germany currently hosts upwards of 40,000 active US military personnel, the largest American military presence in Europe.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: So 5,000 represents roughly 14 percent of that total, but Trump immediately signaled it's not stopping there.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's pointing to both Italy and Spain as the next to face massive troop cuts
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: calling Spain in particular under the Socialist Far-Left Sanchez Administration, quote, horrible, absolutely horrible for refusing to help reopen the state of Hormuz.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: You have to realize that when Iran closed Hormuz, oil spike passed $100 a barrow.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: A barrow, European natural gas nearly doubled.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: Europe is spending an additional 24 billion euros on energy imports.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously given their dependence on oil coming through hormones, Trump turned to NATO and called on them to step up, send in some naval forces to help reopen the straight.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: And when they refused, when Spain refused, when Italy declined, when Germany, not only declined, but criticized the entire war effort,
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: This war gave me the opportunity to test NATO nations and their allegiance to the Alliance, and I can clearly see that the only allegiance you got is to the United States paying for everything and you doing absolutely nothing.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: We take all the risk, and Europe gets all the reward.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: Trump said we're done.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: We're not doing it anymore.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: And troop withdrawal from Europe officially began as of just days ago.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that is when these European leaders started to freak out because they know that if Trump does indeed pull troops out of Germany, Italy and Spain, their economies which are already rather weak, their brittle economies are going to get hit hard.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: Again, take Germany, for example.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: They host nearly 40,000 US military personnel, and US bases their function as some of the most powerful economic engines in the entire country, especially in rural communities, built around installations like Romsdine Air Base.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: Research on prior US troop withdrawals from Germany found that for every soldier pulled out, the local economy loses
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: 0.53 full-time jobs and municipal tax revenues dropped by nearly 30 cents for every dollar of lost military spending.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's an economic gut punch that Germany simply can't afford right now.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't know real German GDP in 2024 was like the same level it was before COVID.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: That means they've had zero economic growth in the past four to five years, zero.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: In Spain, U.S. bases at Rotom moron pump over $700 million into local economies annually and support roughly 8,000 jobs with the Rotom base alone ranked as the top U.S. naval installation in Europe for economic impact.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: And in Italy, the six fleets presence in Naples generates roughly $312 million per year and supports 5,000 direct jobs.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: So when Trump threatens to pull troops,
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: He's not just threatening European security.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's threatening European paychecks.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: And that is leverage that no amount of diplomatic posturing can neutralize.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: Troop withdrawal isn't just a military story.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's an economic gut punch.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: And given their reprehensible behavior throughout the Ciron War, Trump has decided to punch Europe and punch it hard.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: And so now suddenly, these very same European leaders are scrambling, realizing, maybe for the first time, that they need America far more than America needs that.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: wait until you see this.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: But first let me ask you a serious question.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you could earn consistent, double-digit returns guaranteed by law, would you still risk your money in volatile markets?
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because most investments today come with a catch.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: I recently came across a method that works completely differently from a friend of mine, his name's Jay.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's backed by government authority, the returns are set by state law, and you can literally test the waters with as little as 50 bucks, no market timing, no complicated strategies, no dealing with tenants, no rehabs, and it doesn't take over your life either, just a couple of spare hours a week.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: Now here's the part that really caught my attention.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: This is the kind of predictable, law-based return strategy that banks and hedge funds have quietly been using for years, but it's a strategy that's been hidden and kept secret for most everyday Americans.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: But that's starting to change.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I asked Jay how long it would take him to teach me, and he told me he could break the entire thing down and actually walk through it live in less than an hour.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: And that's when I asked him to do the same for you, my audience, and he agreed.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: Jay is hosting a free live masterclass this Tuesday, May 12th at 8 p.m. Eastern 5 p.m. Pacific, where he'll show you exactly how the strategy works, why the returns are guaranteed by law,
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: and how every day Americans can get started with very little time and very little money.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: But it's live only, no replays.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: So go to turlyclass.com to register, that's turlyclass.com or just text, turly, to
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: and you're in.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: Again, Tuesday, May 12th at 8 p.m. Eastern if you want predictable returns without the risk, volatility, and complexity of traditional investing.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you in this masterclass.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: Regards are now at turletclass.com, text turleta 72,000 or scan the QR code to save your spot.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: If you're wondering what's going on with Italy's Georgia Maloney, why she's distancing herself from Trump, you do have to understand the politics in Italy, a Trump's favorability in Italy's very, very low.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we're talking like 12 percent.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: They really can't get much lower than that.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, that's part of the course for most of the European continent.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: for a whole host of reasons.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: Trump's popularity is very, very low.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: It is tariff policies that are hurting European consumers or the spike in oil prices because of the Iran war or just basic European resentment for being consigned to really nothing more than a bunch of vassal states after World War II.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: So for all those reasons Maloney did have to at least for her own political
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: from Trump, her own approval is cratered down a 39% remember she used to be the single most popular Prime Minister in all of Europe.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: She's just lost a major judicial reform referendum, and exit polls showed that the no vote was directly tied to a closeness to Trump.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: Young Italian voters opposed her proposals by like 61% energy prices and some Italian regions
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: And they're, again, for right or for wrong, they're just largely blaming America for that pain at the pump, and by extension, they're blaming Maloney.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: So she took the politically expedient route, she disins herself from President Trump.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: She suspended defense ties with Israel, she tried to play both sides.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, unfortunately for her, you don't mess with the Trumpsters.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: You just don't.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Just ask the eight, oh, I think it was six out of eight, seven out of eight, Indiana Republican state senators who just got voted out of office because they decided to try to betray Trump.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: Trump immediately called her out.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: He said she lacked courage that he was shocked by her and thought she had, she had it what it took to be a real leader of Europe.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: He said, but obviously I was wrong.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then the knockout blow, he suggested, well, I guess we'll pull troops out of Italy as well, along with socialist Spain.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: And given that there are currently nearly 13,000 US troops stationed in Italy.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: the prospect of losing them sent Rome into immediate damage control mode.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: Well, only rushed to a European summit in Yetavan, Armenia, and publicly pleaded against the withdrawal.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: She then quickly arranged an emergency meeting with Secretary of State, Marco Rubio and Rome widely interpreted as a direct attempt to smooth things over with Trump before the troop situation escalated any further.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: So bottom line.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: Maloney refused to help in Hormuz.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: She publicly criticized Trump over the Pope.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: And so in response, Trump said, well, screo will pull 13,000 troops from your country and see how you like that.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: And literally within hours Maloney was scrambling to meet with his secretary of state and public defending Italy's loyalty to both NATO and the United States.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: but something even deeper seems to be going on here with Trump's attack on NATO.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Everything Trump is doing with regard to Europe appears to be aligned with the National Security Report published in December 2025.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: And in that report, the U.S. geopolitical strategy for Europe involves helping the so-called far-right parties, the nationalist populist parties
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: achieve power and destroy the globalist regime, the various globalist regimes in Europe.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: Trump wants the globalist elites gone, and he wants the nationalist in power.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: He wants the A of D to be ruling Germany.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: He wants Marine Le Pen's national rally to rule France.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: For Trump, it doesn't matter, by the way, with Italy, because there's no real viable mainstream establishment party there anymore.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: And in Austria, Netherlands, Spain, the United States is openly siding with their nationalist parties, like the Austrian Freedom Party, the Dutch People's Party, or Vox in Spain.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: And here's the strategic genius that almost nobody in the legacy media is willing to admit, Trump's pressure on NATO doesn't just hurt the European establishment.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: It empowers its populist replacement.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: So think about it, the entire political identity of Europe's ruling class, the Merkels, the Macrons, the Vandalans, they've all been built on one foundational promise.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: We keep you safe through multilateralism and the American Security umbrella.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: When Trump pulls that umbrella away, he doesn't just create a security vacuum.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: He creates a credibility vacuum.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: And who rushes into
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's the nationalist, it's the populace.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Because the AFD, Le Pen, and Vox have been saying for years.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: that the European establishment is incompetent, they're over-dependent and incapable of defending their own people.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: Trump just proved them right in front of the entire continent.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: And the European establishment is hanging on, but barely, by a thread.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: And it does look like Trump's confrontational approach to Europe is precisely what will eventually break the European establishment permanently.
