- 2:58Dan Schulz: Quick question.
- 2:58Dan Schulz: If your neighbor came to you and said, "Hey, I've got this weird wet spot here in the yard and it's not drying up," would you know what you would tell them?
- 3:07Dan Schulz: Uh, probably not because most people wouldn't, and that's usually an underground water leak, and most plumbers don't even handle that.
- 3:16Dan Schulz: In fact, they'd tell you to call a specialist, and that's where Simply Leak Detection comes in.
- 3:22Dan Schulz: They're the company that a lot of plumbers call when they can't find the leak.
- 3:26Dan Schulz: Non-invasive, no digging, they pinpoint exactly where the leak is.

- 5:41Dan Schulz: It is time for the Redmond History Minute where we share an interesting piece of history, trivia, or a tidbit about life in and around Redmond.
- 5:50Dan Schulz: Today's trivia question is, Which Redmond institution was started by Master Gardener Georgia Erskine in 1976 and still runs today?
- 6:03Dan Schulz: And your choices are, A, Redmond Derby Days, B, Redmond Saturday Market, C, Redmond Historical Society, or D, Redmond Garden Club.
- 6:18Dan Schulz: And your time starts now
- 6:22Jennifer Davis: Well, if she's a master gardener, Dan, I'm gonna guess D, the Redmond Garden Club.
- 6:28Jennifer Davis: It's probably very obvious, so I'm just gonna go with the obvious guess
- 6:33Dan Schulz: Why must you put Georgia Erskine in a corner?
- 6:38Dan Schulz: But fine, let's see if you're right The answer is B.
- 6:47Dan Schulz: I am so sorry, you are wrong.
- 6:49Dan Schulz: The Redmond Saturday Market
- 6:51Jennifer Davis: Unbelievable
- 6:53Dan Schulz: Yes, she helped start the Redmond Saturday Market in 1976 with a simple idea and a lot of volunteer energy.
- 7:01Dan Schulz: What began as a small community market turned into one of the Eastside's longest-running traditions, connecting local farmers, artists, makers, and neighbors for nearly five decades.
- 7:12Dan Schulz: It's a great reminder that some of Redmond's best ideas start with people who simply wanted to build something fun for the community, and I love the Saturday Market
- 7:29Jennifer Davis: We've been hearing whispers that a curated vintage clothing shop could be headed to Old Redmond.
- 7:35Jennifer Davis: This wouldn't be your typical thrift store packed wall to wall.
- 7:39Jennifer Davis: The rumor is it'll focus on carefully selected outdoor gear, workwear, and everyday vintage pieces with fair prices, and that the owner already has the inventory ready to go.
- 7:52Dan Schulz: Ah, that's a smart person.
- 7:53Dan Schulz: Somebody cleaning out their closet trying to make a couple extra bucks, Jennifer.
- 7:57Dan Schulz: I'm all for this rumor.
- 7:58Dan Schulz: I hope it's true
- 8:00Jennifer Davis: Now, we don't know if a lease has been signed yet or exactly where it might end up, so take this one with the appropriate grain of salt.
- 8:08Jennifer Davis: The question is, where in Old Redmond do you think it would fit best?
- 8:13Jennifer Davis: If you've got a guess or have heard something, head over to our Facebook page at facebook.com/bestofredmond and drop it in the Redmond Rumor Mill Guesses post.
- 8:26Dan Schulz: And while you are at our Facebook page, try to find the post called Your Picks and drop your vote in the comment to this question.
