- 0:52Speaker 6: out there listening. Lang glad to be here with you.
- 0:54Speaker 6: What an exciting Monday. It's a little rainy here and
- 0:59Speaker 6: there Atlanta area. Looks like we're gonna have a rainy
- 1:03Speaker 6: June here in this part of the country. But we're
- 1:08Speaker 6: gonna put on our dark colors and we're gonna have
- 1:11Speaker 6: some fun even in the rain. I got the band
- 1:16Speaker 6: here today, got a hot show. Rest up for the night.
- 1:22Speaker 6: Madison Square Garden, Nicks Spurs. Surprisingly, you really felt like
- 1:30Speaker 6: it was gonna be one one, but the Knicks, with
- 1:34Speaker 6: a mistake by the Frenchman, able to win and came
- 1:41Speaker 6: to going back to Madison Square. What an opportunity to
- 1:47Speaker 6: close the door they swept the Cleven Cavaliers. They're looking
- 1:53Speaker 6: to try to do that to the San Antonio Spurs.
- 1:57Speaker 6: Ticket prices truly through the roof. Remember a couple of
- 2:00Speaker 6: shows ago when I got on my soapbox and I
- 2:04Speaker 6: went in, told you we ain't really trying to fix
- 2:08Speaker 6: world hunger.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Come on at you, Greg.
- 2:12Speaker 6: When I remember I told y'all we could fix world hunger.
- 2:15Speaker 6: I was, y'all think I'd be just over here make
- 2:17Speaker 6: it self up. We can fix it if we choose to.
- 2:20Speaker 6: But if we got twenty thousand people that can go
- 2:23Speaker 6: to a state and the cheapest ticket is sixty two
- 2:26Speaker 6: hundred dollars, we could solve We're hunger day at least
- 2:31Speaker 6: if we wanted to for a day. But we don't choose.
- 2:34Speaker 6: That's not what we want to do.
- 2:35Speaker 1: So Sally what was.
- 2:37Speaker 6: Her name Struggers says, you could feed a hungry kid
- 2:40Speaker 6: for six and a day.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Six and a day, yeah less, So I mean we
- 2:46Speaker 3: could get your own value there, sandwich, fries and a
- 2:50Speaker 3: drink six in a day.
- 2:52Speaker 6: But the Knicks doing battle tonight eight thirty versus the Spurs.
- 2:58Speaker 6: The Spurs have been comfortable and an idea that they
- 3:02Speaker 6: can come back. They have the talent. It's not a
- 3:05Speaker 6: sense of talent that you feel they're down two as
- 3:10Speaker 6: much as it is just living in the moment. The
- 3:13Speaker 6: Knicks seem to be in a groove that very few
- 3:15Speaker 6: times we've seen teams. It's been a long time since
- 3:19Speaker 6: you saw a team really just winning from the team aspect.
- 3:25Speaker 6: Really kind of back to the Detroit Chauncey Billup, Rich Hamilton,
- 3:31Speaker 6: Ben Wallace days, where we saw the team looking like
- 3:36Speaker 6: they're going to power themself to a championship without having
- 3:41Speaker 6: necessarily that brand name player. A lot of these guys
- 3:47Speaker 6: are solidifying their brand with how they're playing. Jalen Bronson,
- 3:53Speaker 6: salute you. You didn't want to leave town. You just
- 3:56Speaker 6: said you was going to do something for the Knicks
- 3:58Speaker 6: at a lower price, and you are living. You're the
- 4:01Speaker 6: darling of the city. A lot of things around this
- 4:05Speaker 6: game to discuss, Uh, we'll talk about the Charles Oakley
- 4:10Speaker 6: and James Dolan situation. Talk about the fan base. I
- 4:20Speaker 6: was reading an article and he was talking about the
- 4:23Speaker 6: most obnoxious fan base and people said the Knicks, and
- 4:27Speaker 6: that's not actually true.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I don't know where you've been.
- 4:30Speaker 6: And then somebody said the Saint Louis Cardinals, the baseball
- 4:33Speaker 6: team you're not actually what planet you are on? The
- 4:37Speaker 6: most annoying fan base in the United States of America.
- 4:44Speaker 6: I can't attest for other countries because I don't live there,
- 4:48Speaker 6: but I do know in the Long Star State, Oh
- 4:51Speaker 6: go buy a lottery t there's a team that hasn't
- 4:57Speaker 6: won since Bill Clinton was.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Pressed on Hold on, now, you didn't have that. That's
- 5:01Speaker 1: you bringing up old stuff.
- 5:02Speaker 6: Remember Bill will William Clinton bringing up Wills. I did
- 5:08Speaker 6: not have relations or a Super Bowls that lady. We
- 5:14Speaker 6: did not have relations with Dallas Cowboys that I think
- 5:18Speaker 6: a lot of people would have to Nick fans. I mean,
- 5:21Speaker 6: they haven't had anything to be obnoxious about. You gotta
- 5:24Speaker 6: have some winning, some lightweight winning. They haven't been in
- 5:28Speaker 6: the championship since ninety nine and haven't won one since
- 5:31Speaker 6: seventy three. They just I've never found a Nick fan
- 5:35Speaker 6: to be annoying. They bragged, mostly because they in New York.
- 5:39Speaker 6: Like the New Yorker brags, right, you know, but the
- 5:43Speaker 6: Cowboy fan command you, Greg, brothers and sisters in arms?
- 5:49Speaker 1: Hey, hey, Greg, what time is it? Them boys? What
- 5:53Speaker 1: you're talking to you? Like? They won two.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Years ago, How you sandwich tastes greg them boys?
- 6:00Speaker 1: You played the song?
- 6:02Speaker 3: What do you mean you're sandwich taste them boys? I
- 6:05Speaker 3: don't understand that you're well anyway, how about the cowboy?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Anyway? How many? Well? How about them cowboy? About them?
- 6:16Speaker 1: I mean, what they're gonna do? Mumble?
- 6:18Speaker 3: I mean, we're back every year they say that we're
- 6:21Speaker 3: back back again for the for the twenty seventh time.
- 6:26Speaker 1: We undefeated right now, So okay, you know what, zero.
- 6:32Speaker 6: We got to talk about. One thing I want is
- 6:34Speaker 6: to get on you know, presidents. I wanted to start there. President.
- 6:43Speaker 6: I didn't give I didn't give the president a name,
- 6:46Speaker 6: just the president. Should the president? Should the Office? Should
- 6:51Speaker 6: Secret Service move away from announcing where the president is
- 7:01Speaker 6: going to be when it's more of situations like this.
- 7:07Speaker 6: It's one thing to be going to the summit in
- 7:11Speaker 6: Syria or you know, Iraq, and it's different then I'm
- 7:15Speaker 6: going to attend my guard daughters granddaughters graduation like or
- 7:23Speaker 6: here with the Knicks the president wants to go or
- 7:27Speaker 6: has been invited. Some people seem like they didn't read
- 7:31Speaker 6: that part that the owner of the Knicks invited the president.
- 7:37Speaker 6: But should we get away with how fans and how
- 7:40Speaker 6: people that aren't even fans seem that gaslights people to start.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Protests or show up.
- 7:47Speaker 6: And it's been going on a while, so it's not
- 7:49Speaker 6: one of those that makes me laugh about our society.
- 7:52Speaker 6: We pinpoint one name one time and we make it
- 7:54Speaker 6: seem like.
- 7:55Speaker 1: It started there.
- 7:56Speaker 6: This has been a while where the radical here's something
- 8:01Speaker 6: and their drive distances with their sign. Do we need
- 8:07Speaker 6: to announce that the president basically is attending a game.
- 8:15Speaker 7: No, we shouldn't, because I can remember when a president
- 8:19Speaker 7: attended an n c A A championship game and his state,
- 8:23Speaker 7: and it's.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Well, one while you're you're you're doing it without doing it.
- 8:27Speaker 6: We're just staying on the presidential office. We don't need
- 8:30Speaker 6: to go back. I could have gave them ten examples
- 8:33Speaker 6: of president's attending things, and they don't do the president
- 8:36Speaker 6: need to attend things your attend because that's why you
- 8:40Speaker 6: threw in, Uh, he went to n c double A
- 8:43Speaker 6: in his state, so you're trying to give them keys
- 8:47Speaker 6: to get around to who you're talking about.
- 8:49Speaker 1: No, he wasn't actually in his state. Did you not
- 8:52Speaker 1: just say that? No?
- 8:53Speaker 3: I said he a president attended an NCAA game in
- 8:57Speaker 3: another It wasn't in his state. I didn't say it
- 9:01Speaker 3: was Bill Clinton going to see Arkansas, but it wasn't
- 9:04Speaker 3: an Arkansola. But I just wanted to talk about the
- 9:08Speaker 3: office of the president. I didn't want to talk about
- 9:10Speaker 3: the different examples of the names and sports. I would
- 9:15Speaker 3: like a show where we can stay on topic. I
- 9:16Speaker 3: think that the president ought to be announced when they're
- 9:19Speaker 3: coming because of the logistical structure that's required. As a fan,
- 9:26Speaker 3: I might not be able to get into the venue
- 9:29Speaker 3: for an hour because everyone has to stay outside until
- 9:33Speaker 3: the venue is cleared. And there may be certain places
- 9:36Speaker 3: that I'm not driving the night because they got eighteen
- 9:38Speaker 3: square blocks around the venue closed off because the president
- 9:42Speaker 3: is here. You can't park, you can't go here, you
- 9:44Speaker 3: can't go there. Those are things, especially with the amount
- 9:47Speaker 3: of police presidents might unnerve some citizens if they show
- 9:52Speaker 3: up and just see it. Man, what are all these
- 9:54Speaker 3: police doing here? What is this heavily on?
- 9:56Speaker 6: So you're saying I can't just take the president to
- 9:59Speaker 6: Madison Square Garden and you not know you're telling me
- 10:04Speaker 6: that I can't take the most prestigious office in our
- 10:07Speaker 6: country and move him around without you knowing.
- 10:12Speaker 3: I imagine it can be done, but I don't think
- 10:15Speaker 3: that's the reason they invite him is to come clandestinely.
- 10:18Speaker 3: They want people to know that he's there. That's what's
- 10:21Speaker 3: the point of having the president there. If nobody knows
- 10:24Speaker 3: he's there, he is the status symbol worldwide. Imagine with
- 10:29Speaker 3: these the like you're saying, like the logistics are going
- 10:32Speaker 3: to be different. They have different rules for the fans,
- 10:36Speaker 3: like you know, no bags or have like minimal items
- 10:40Speaker 3: on you.
- 10:42Speaker 8: Going into the arena. The security is going to be different.
- 10:47Speaker 8: So I think it helps to announce that he's going
- 10:51Speaker 8: to be there. And it was always kind of like
- 10:55Speaker 8: it's something that we've known about for probably a couple
- 10:57Speaker 8: of weeks, ever since the Knicks clinched the Eastern Conference
- 11:00Speaker 8: that well, we figured that the President's going to be
- 11:03Speaker 8: at one of these games. Ticket holder, Yeah, but it
- 11:09Speaker 8: just for it. It was kind of expected. But as
- 11:13Speaker 8: far as like announcing it, I don't think there's really
- 11:16Speaker 8: an issue with announcing it. We just it gives everyone
- 11:21Speaker 8: else who's going to be there a chance to, you know,
- 11:23Speaker 8: if they have to make some kind of adjustment because
- 11:25Speaker 8: the security, Like I said, security measures are going to
- 11:28Speaker 8: be different, the rules are going to be different to
- 11:32Speaker 8: protect the president.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Also, and we're going to go to break. I'll come
- 11:36Speaker 6: back on the other side, bad producer. I will start
- 11:38Speaker 6: with you before we go to break.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I'm with you.
- 11:42Speaker 6: I don't think our president needs to announce where he's
- 11:45Speaker 6: going in senses of his free time. And if security
- 11:52Speaker 6: isn't at a presidential level, maybe that's what we need
- 11:55Speaker 6: to check out. Because whatever you put in place for
- 11:59Speaker 6: the president being in the building needs to be what's
- 12:02Speaker 6: in place, period will be for how things go down,
- 12:07Speaker 6: because the shootings happen whether the president is there or not.
- 12:12Speaker 6: Twelve people can get shot, people can be get bombed
- 12:16Speaker 6: at a marathon.
- 12:20Speaker 3: So and so are you putting the higher premium on
- 12:24Speaker 3: the president's life than regular Americans?
- 12:27Speaker 6: That's what you've seen my kid doing. Yeah, yeah, that's
- 12:30Speaker 6: what we need to address. We'll be back going to
- 12:32Speaker 6: sports Jock show right after this advance.
- 12:35Speaker 9: I just wanted to shine take paving line dog until time.
- 12:39Speaker 9: Now you look at me like, damn dog, you were
- 12:41Speaker 9: I am a hip hop legend. I think I died
- 12:43Speaker 9: in an accident because this must be heaven. I gotta testify.
- 12:49Speaker 5: Don't go awayne Boord of The Sports Jock Show with

- 15:08Speaker 1: You can afford. No, no, no, no no.
- 15:10Speaker 10: Now it's time to present the Jock of the day
- 15:13Speaker 10: on the Sports Jock Show has.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Taken it to a completely different level this year where
- 15:17Speaker 1: we highlight an acolyte that has taken their game to
- 15:20Speaker 1: the next level. What a back to this worstock show.
- 15:40Speaker 6: I'm this worshock winge candy depig thing tonight out of
- 15:43Speaker 6: the Spurs down two to the Knicks at eight thirty.
- 15:48Speaker 1: So much about this game. We can spend this whole hour.
- 15:52Speaker 1: We're not.
- 15:53Speaker 6: But when you look at this Knicks team, the thing
- 15:55Speaker 6: that stands out to me is that they win as
- 15:58Speaker 6: a team, and they win at something that a lot
- 16:01Speaker 6: of us in the basketball world watching has gotten away from.
- 16:06Speaker 6: They actually play position basketball. So all you people out there, y'all,
- 16:12Speaker 6: the same people who thought that you don't need a
- 16:15Speaker 6: running game to win, y'all are all in that.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Same basket.
- 16:22Speaker 6: You do. You don't have to be the best running back,
- 16:25Speaker 6: our best running team in the league, but there are
- 16:29Speaker 6: instances that being able to run the ball helps you win.
- 16:37Speaker 6: But all you ever hear about is the run the
- 16:39Speaker 6: ball four receiver sets and all these different things. It's
- 16:42Speaker 6: just a thing of position basketball. The Knicks actually play
- 16:46Speaker 6: by position. You watch the court, you see who is what.
- 16:52Speaker 6: Jalen Bronson is the point guard, the cat is the
- 16:56Speaker 6: power forward, Nobly is the third. They put the big
- 17:01Speaker 6: guy in off the bench. What's his name, the tall
- 17:04Speaker 6: Get all the files, Robinson, Josh. They all play a role.
- 17:10Speaker 6: So as y'all keep taking nine shooting guards and trying
- 17:16Speaker 6: to copy, Oh, well, you know, Golden State did it.
- 17:19Speaker 6: There's always outliers. The more traditional way wimby the mistake
- 17:26Speaker 6: he made a lot of that was positionless because in
- 17:30Speaker 6: a position when we would have gotten that rebound or
- 17:33Speaker 6: that steal, he would have bowled up. Well, he don't
- 17:36Speaker 6: even have the bowl up. He's seven to six. So
- 17:38Speaker 6: once he puts the ball up like this, you're just
- 17:42Speaker 6: like swiping, swiping at the ball and find the point guard.
- 17:47Speaker 6: But the point guard that he the point guard that
- 17:50Speaker 6: he was trying to get the ball to, is used
- 17:52Speaker 6: to positionless. So Stephan Castle just ran back down the court. Yeah,
- 18:00Speaker 6: no idea in his mind to go get the basketball.
- 18:04Speaker 6: He saw win me security. He started running back up
- 18:06Speaker 6: the court and the week you they he looked at him.
- 18:12Speaker 6: They looked at each other in the eye, and Castle
- 18:16Speaker 6: like put his hands down, like okay, we're gonna slow
- 18:19Speaker 6: down or they're gonna call the time they had a
- 18:21Speaker 6: time out. So it was part of it is that, Yeah,
- 18:26Speaker 6: anybody can bring the ball up, but also being aware
- 18:30Speaker 6: of the situation.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Did you hear what do you think that?
- 18:34Speaker 3: Do you think that position basketball? Those things become muscle memory.
- 18:39Speaker 3: But that's what I'm saying. And if we're playing our position,
- 18:43Speaker 3: every scenario that runs through that structure. So I'm saying,
- 18:53Speaker 3: if I'm playing position basketball, it would have been second
- 18:57Speaker 3: nature to me to come back to the basketball. It
- 19:00Speaker 3: would have been second nature to play my position. This
- 19:03Speaker 3: man is gotten the rebound, and now I got to
- 19:06Speaker 3: do my part.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Rick Mahorn gets the rebound, He's gonna get the ball
- 19:10Speaker 6: to Isaiah. He's gonna stand there and swing and Isaiah
- 19:14Speaker 6: as Big Kenny saying, whether he brings eventually brings the
- 19:17Speaker 6: ball up back or not, he is gonna move to
- 19:20Speaker 6: go get the best.
- 19:21Speaker 1: He might pass it to Joe Dumar, but he coming for.
- 19:25Speaker 3: One of the two guards are coming to get the balls.
- 19:28Speaker 3: One of the two guards are coming to get the ball.
- 19:30Speaker 3: And that's the point that you sports jock was just
- 19:33Speaker 3: making once. Where has that went away from that? Man,
- 19:37Speaker 3: you would get taken out of the game if you
- 19:39Speaker 3: didn't give the ball to the point guard. Everybody, every guy,
- 19:43Speaker 3: I can, we all got handles. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 19:46Speaker 8: There are players with more versatility, but it's not as
- 19:51Speaker 8: many players with that kind of version.
- 19:54Speaker 7: So we're not teaching players anymore then, So because it
- 19:57Speaker 7: used to be your point guard, is your quarterback or
- 19:59Speaker 7: your pictures that's telling me now we're just coming up
- 20:01Speaker 7: the court and we're just playing playground.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Every everybody is that what we're doing. Everybody comes up
- 20:06Speaker 3: and everyone has is being coached guard skills. Everybody just
- 20:12Speaker 3: get one or seven feet, which is you got to
- 20:15Speaker 3: be able to shoot, which is.
- 20:17Speaker 6: Fine to the point of I'm okay, but there is
- 20:20Speaker 6: a part where you still need to learn your position.
- 20:25Speaker 6: I'm okay with you dribbling and adding on things that
- 20:28Speaker 6: guards do, but I'm not okay with that's all.
- 20:33Speaker 1: You know to do. It's not being coached.
- 20:37Speaker 6: No, No, I'm not saying it's the player. I'm saying
- 20:39Speaker 6: it's the world of the sport has changed because as
- 20:44Speaker 6: they come up.
- 20:45Speaker 8: I mean, I'm not I'm not like saying, oh, it's
- 20:47Speaker 8: it's the way that it's coach to where that's not
- 20:50Speaker 8: that's not being coached necessarily playing your position, what a
- 20:55Speaker 8: what is a power forward do like?
- 20:58Speaker 6: Or what does.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Or how the point guard is supposed to handle things?
- 21:03Speaker 3: It's it's not being coached that way. It's because out.
- 21:08Speaker 6: There just said when one team in any sport start
- 21:12Speaker 6: having success doing something, sports are copycat leagues. All the owners, coaches,
- 21:21Speaker 6: very few of them will stay with what they do
- 21:24Speaker 6: and how they win. You know, it used to be
- 21:29Speaker 6: tons of college teams. When I got to Auburn, you didn't.
- 21:33Speaker 6: Our names were not on the back of the jersey.
- 21:38Speaker 6: That jersey over there in that corner with all candy
- 21:41Speaker 6: on it is the first year Auburn ever put the name.
- 21:45Speaker 6: Pennon State is one of the few teams that still exists.
- 21:48Speaker 6: They don't put the name on the back.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Of the jersey.
- 21:52Speaker 6: Because it was a team kind of mindset. Same thing
- 21:55Speaker 6: with the sneakers used to be we all wore the
- 21:57Speaker 6: same color sneaker. It could be different brands, different styles.
- 22:02Speaker 6: We all got different contracts, right, but there had to
- 22:06Speaker 6: be whatever color. We decided, we're all green, and Adidas
- 22:10Speaker 6: got to send him green. Now he got to send
- 22:11Speaker 6: me green. Under arm sends him green. Now it's an
- 22:14Speaker 6: individual thing. So there are moments where team structure and
- 22:19Speaker 6: when I saw that play as big Kenny is alluding
- 22:22Speaker 6: to Stefan being trained to be a point guard goes back,
- 22:28Speaker 6: not forward, but he conceded that womby can dribble and
- 22:33Speaker 6: women brings the ball down the court, and in that moment,
- 22:36Speaker 6: women wasn't trying to do that.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I can remember.
- 22:39Speaker 3: We used to laugh at the big man when shack
- 22:40Speaker 3: them just trying to bring the ball up the court.
- 22:42Speaker 3: They said, shack them couldn't dribble. So that's what I
- 22:46Speaker 3: just said, It's okay to teach bigger people because that
- 22:49Speaker 3: was unfair to the power forward and the center as well,
- 22:53Speaker 3: to only be trained never to know how to dribble
- 22:57Speaker 3: when the game is basketball.
- 22:58Speaker 1: When the game is.
- 22:59Speaker 6: Basketball, that when the break up practice, Yo, we just
- 23:05Speaker 6: go down here. Never learn, never do the dribbling drill.
- 23:10Speaker 6: That's crazy. There's gonna be moments where you're gonna need
- 23:12Speaker 6: to dribble the ball.
- 23:14Speaker 15: Man.
- 23:16Speaker 1: We'll be back more to sports Jock Show. Right after this, WHOA,
- 23:25Speaker 1: We're going in a road.
- 23:33Speaker 5: Jon't Bowl, Wayne Born of the Sports Josh Show with
- 23:35Speaker 5: Wayne Gambidius coming up next.
- 23:39Speaker 16: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 23:41Speaker 16: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 23:46Speaker 16: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 23:49Speaker 16: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 23:53Speaker 16: Come on, we're smarter than this. Let's put down the
- 23:56Speaker 16: phones and focus on the roads.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Drive safe, everybody, don't drive distracted.
- 24:02Speaker 17: A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic

- 25:39Speaker 1: On the sports jock dot com And now back to
- 25:44Speaker 1: the sports John Wayne and Andy in the Radzo Yes
- 25:59Speaker 1: thatd so walk back to the I'm promoted back.
- 26:01Speaker 18: To the CREB.
- 26:03Speaker 1: So yeah, we live anybody, but it ain't that seious
- 26:07Speaker 1: walk back to this?
- 26:08Speaker 6: What shock shot? I'm this what shock Wayne Candy? Big
- 26:11Speaker 6: question of the day, the nickas and the spurs. You know,
- 26:13Speaker 6: should the president? Should the Office? Should the Secret Service?
- 26:17Speaker 6: Shouldn't that be something that we minimize? Is it easier
- 26:21Speaker 6: or harder? I wonder if we got to see a
- 26:24Speaker 6: Secret Service officer, is it easier or harder to just
- 26:30Speaker 6: don't know he in the building? Can we see in
- 26:32Speaker 6: the building until they are in the building.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Have we had incidents like that where there have been
- 26:39Speaker 3: major events and people hey, by the way, we have
- 26:43Speaker 3: the president in the place and everybody go on.
- 26:45Speaker 19: I didn't know that.
- 26:46Speaker 6: I get a feel back in those that in those
- 26:48Speaker 6: eighties and nineties that you didn't get necessarily an official
- 26:53Speaker 6: announcement that George Bush Senior was with that a ranger
- 26:57Speaker 6: game right?
- 26:58Speaker 1: The camera was just he handed through the first pitch?
- 27:02Speaker 1: Was it something like that? You wouldn't know?
- 27:04Speaker 6: So if all of you just going in, y'all don't
- 27:06Speaker 6: have anything. That's why I said the security that President.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Trump show up at like the one of the military
- 27:13Speaker 3: graduations unannounced. He's been to several events, Navy game. I
- 27:18Speaker 3: think he announced that, Okay, but the graduation, I don't
- 27:21Speaker 3: know that. Yeah, I don't know if he announced the graduate.
- 27:23Speaker 6: And that's why I said the office when even when
- 27:25Speaker 6: he's gone, should it start being more of.
- 27:29Speaker 1: When they need to know, we will tell, we tell them.
- 27:32Speaker 3: But if this isn't some kind of official presidential business,
- 27:36Speaker 3: you just want to go to the game.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I just want, yeah, I just want to just like
- 27:40Speaker 1: you're New Yorker, I'm.
- 27:41Speaker 6: A New Yorker from Jamaica, queen from Queens and right
- 27:46Speaker 6: and Ron DMC and I remember when Kamala said and
- 27:48Speaker 6: the next will never go to the championship.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I remember she said that to me.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Now y'all didn't see it because it was before the debate,
- 27:56Speaker 3: but I told her, yes they will, and I'm gonna
- 27:58Speaker 3: be caught side.
- 27:59Speaker 1: And don't think I'm an miss this moment.
- 28:01Speaker 7: But as Kenny King alluded earlier to traffic, yes, when
- 28:04Speaker 7: it but as you alluded to, if it's official business,
- 28:08Speaker 7: then it becomes perf for the traffic and to know.
- 28:11Speaker 1: But this is, like you said, it's down free time.
- 28:14Speaker 7: And I think a lot of people upset because I
- 28:16Speaker 7: think that that little area they've been gathering is that
- 28:20Speaker 7: area is not going to be available, and so they're.
- 28:23Speaker 6: Well, they have been going back and forth over that anyway. Okay, see,
- 28:27Speaker 6: I didn't even know that that's not a President is
- 28:31Speaker 6: coming thing. A couple of times they've hosted, the officers
- 28:34Speaker 6: didn't want to maintain that. The City of New York,
- 28:39Speaker 6: New York Police, so one of those they travel of
- 28:42Speaker 6: resource and attention that that one event needs.
- 28:49Speaker 1: And then they can.
- 28:50Speaker 6: So they've been back and forth because, like Big Kenny
- 28:53Speaker 6: is saying, the police officers, the law enforcement, the city,
- 28:56Speaker 6: this resources you're having, you're this this thing is turning into.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Dropping the apple.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Kind of situation, right, Oh, those law enforcement officers really
- 29:08Speaker 6: don't want to be dealing with that in these times
- 29:13Speaker 6: of how you know, people don't respect law enforcement and
- 29:18Speaker 6: twenty law man can't tell Greg to do this, and
- 29:22Speaker 6: he does it, and three hundred thousand people upset can
- 29:25Speaker 6: go into fifty thousand cops as many times as they like.
- 29:28Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying that math is just math, that's.
- 29:32Speaker 12: All that is.
- 29:33Speaker 6: So they canceled it once they to brun it back,
- 29:36Speaker 6: So that's happened already.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I didn't even know that a lot. I think a
- 29:39Speaker 1: lot of people didn't know that they had been in.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Now and we just talked about security, and if we
- 29:46Speaker 3: need more security than we need for the president, then
- 29:50Speaker 3: maybe the problem lies with the venue. You've been cheating
- 29:53Speaker 3: the regular sports paying fan, ticket buying fan. And maybe
- 29:58Speaker 3: the problem is with us as a media, scrolling reading
- 30:03Speaker 3: society that we don't look fully into the story. You
- 30:07Speaker 3: saw the headline and it was, yeah, see the Trump
- 30:10Speaker 3: is coming. But if you would do research, if you
- 30:14Speaker 3: would connect yourself to the actual facts, you would have
- 30:17Speaker 3: known that this is something that the city has been
- 30:19Speaker 3: struggling with giving permits for for quite some time because
- 30:24Speaker 3: of the logistical nightmare that it is, and then maybe
- 30:28Speaker 3: you could have a more informed conversation about it. Because
- 30:31Speaker 3: what's happening is I got something this morning saying that
- 30:34Speaker 3: the ticket sales had dropped because President Trump that was coming.
- 30:38Speaker 3: I go to the website that this was supposedly sent from,
- 30:42Speaker 3: and I can't find that headline. So I don't know
- 30:45Speaker 3: if people are marrying a outlet that should be reporting
- 30:50Speaker 3: the story from this angle and just manipulating the storyline.
- 30:56Speaker 1: So you know, in our media today you have to
- 30:59Speaker 1: feel like they're manipulating. Yeah, a lot of it.
- 31:03Speaker 3: A lot of it is manipulating. You know, they don't
- 31:05Speaker 3: give you certain facts. They just they intentionally omit the
- 31:11Speaker 3: fact that the city has been dealing.
- 31:12Speaker 8: With this for a long time, and initially enough, it
- 31:15Speaker 8: would be in the city's best interest that the you know,
- 31:20Speaker 8: even though the NBA might want the series to go
- 31:22Speaker 8: on a little longer, it will be in the city's
- 31:26Speaker 8: best interest that New York finishes this.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Like they that it is a sweep.
- 31:31Speaker 8: If it because I read it, if it gets to
- 31:33Speaker 8: Game six, there is a World Cup match at in
- 31:38Speaker 8: East Rutherford that day there is a Yankee game, and
- 31:41Speaker 8: then along with Game six and all the all the
- 31:46Speaker 8: transportation and you know, the there's a potential, especially if
- 31:52Speaker 8: the Knicks are up three to a watch party, it
- 31:55Speaker 8: could be another logistical nightmare.
- 31:57Speaker 6: And you you just said something about people. You know,
- 32:00Speaker 6: people have this idea even though the NBA would like
- 32:03Speaker 6: it to go longer.
- 32:05Speaker 12: Right.
- 32:06Speaker 6: I was at the barbershop Friday, someone said the same thing. Well,
- 32:09Speaker 6: you know it's gonna go six. You know how they
- 32:10Speaker 6: got to get their money. They already got their money.
- 32:15Speaker 6: Where is this illusion that you'all keep thinking that series
- 32:19Speaker 6: are orchestrated to go longer than they should. Where did
- 32:24Speaker 6: that mystery come in.
- 32:28Speaker 1: To play?
- 32:33Speaker 3: I think it's that human nature. Once suspicious, it's hard
- 32:38Speaker 3: to regain trust. Sports, especially in this past cycle, has
- 32:42Speaker 3: shown us that it can and has been, at the
- 32:46Speaker 3: highest levels manipulated. So people who have always had their
- 32:51Speaker 3: conspiracy theories now have what they think is monicums of
- 32:55Speaker 3: evidence to support those theories.
- 32:57Speaker 1: We've seen coaches, we've.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Seen excession go to pen officials, We've seen players all
- 33:05Speaker 3: get jammed up fixing games.
- 33:07Speaker 1: So who's to say they won't extend them for who?
- 33:11Speaker 1: For the money? Which money? And the money I'm getting offered?
- 33:15Speaker 1: Whatever this is?
- 33:16Speaker 6: But what money was the money for the Terry Terry
- 33:20Speaker 6: Rose has to give the Heat back twenty six million
- 33:25Speaker 6: dollars and probably won't ever play in the NBA game.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:34Speaker 6: I didn't say twenty six dollars, twenty six thousand dollars,
- 33:36Speaker 6: two hundred and sixty thousand dollars, two point six dollars,
- 33:39Speaker 6: two point six million dollars. I said twenty six million dollars.
- 33:48Speaker 6: Who was gonna pay him that amount of money. Why
- 33:53Speaker 6: do you think that the series get extended? The basketball
- 33:56Speaker 6: players already paid, the TV cunt track is already paid.
- 34:03Speaker 6: Now let's Coca Cola coming in because they have some
- 34:06Speaker 6: ads they want to run. But yeah, oh so y'all
- 34:09Speaker 6: think it goes you took the one incident and folded
- 34:12Speaker 6: it into because that's maybe how you would do it.
- 34:15Speaker 1: You would just now how much like that? I think
- 34:20Speaker 1: it It comes up just so there's this.
- 34:25Speaker 8: So it would appear that the series is competitive, even
- 34:29Speaker 8: though it's been two good.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Games these first two games.
- 34:33Speaker 8: If it's a sweep, then it's like, oh, it wasn't competitive,
- 34:36Speaker 8: and then you know this team isn't that good or
- 34:40Speaker 8: or this this team got lucky or something like that.
- 34:46Speaker 8: I think it's for from an historical perspective, to make
- 34:49Speaker 8: it appear that it was a competitive.
- 34:51Speaker 1: So well, maybe you just witnessing history.
- 34:53Speaker 8: Let me ask something, sports shot, let me ask you
- 34:56Speaker 8: some people don't I think a lot of fans don't
- 34:58Speaker 8: look at it like that.
- 35:00Speaker 6: And let me just ask sweeping like the Spurs, why
- 35:03Speaker 6: would you watch watch something that's read hope excuse me, hope.
- 35:14Speaker 3: See y'all get on to me, entertainment where the var
- 35:16Speaker 3: takes me entertainment. Let me ask you some sports, y'all,
- 35:20Speaker 3: and this is just playing Devil's advocates. Having been presented
- 35:24Speaker 3: with the evidence we have been presented when it comes
- 35:28Speaker 3: to sports and the manipulation of sports outcomes, can you
- 35:32Speaker 3: one hundred percent definitively say that it's impossible that any
- 35:37Speaker 3: of this could be manipulated to extend the series.
- 35:40Speaker 6: Yes, you're saying it's impossible. One I'm saying, is one
- 35:44Speaker 6: hundred percent impossible for you to dive into a pool
- 35:50Speaker 6: always believing that there is some overlord that's keeping something
- 35:57Speaker 6: going that the New York Knicks. So they went to
- 36:01Speaker 6: the Knicks and say, hey, don't lose the night. Is
- 36:06Speaker 6: that like where we're in this because most of these
- 36:10Speaker 6: things since the Black Socks of Chicago one hundred years ago.
- 36:15Speaker 1: One player trying to but you need a whole team.
- 36:18Speaker 3: What about the allegations where the executives go right now,
- 36:22Speaker 3: they're getting rid of all the players.
- 36:24Speaker 6: It's not tanking. You're mad because I'm making moves. I
- 36:28Speaker 6: don't agree with tanking, and you put all the safeguards
- 36:32Speaker 6: in to prevent that. And I'm retooling there's no need
- 36:36Speaker 6: for me to continue to pay you three a billion dollars,
- 36:42Speaker 6: and I know we don't have no help. I got
- 36:44Speaker 6: to use my assets. I don't know how everybody owed it.
- 36:48Speaker 6: You know they trying to tank. Well, do you see
- 36:51Speaker 6: enough talent on that team to beat this team?
- 36:53Speaker 1: Well? And again, sports, I'm not saying it happens.
- 36:56Speaker 3: I'm saying the stuff that has happened has given peace
- 37:00Speaker 3: people enough nugget of nourishment to continue to feast on
- 37:04Speaker 3: those ideas. Because as the NBA is having a meeting
- 37:07Speaker 3: with the Sports and period, you would have never thought
- 37:12Speaker 3: in a million years that professional gambling would have found
- 37:15Speaker 3: a kid and Kiddy Valley State Universe.
- 37:17Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you who I think those people are.
- 37:19Speaker 7: Those are real not sports, real sports fans. Those are
- 37:22Speaker 7: people that just want to be a part of something
- 37:25Speaker 7: if you I mean to I'm just saying that the
- 37:28Speaker 7: real sports.
- 37:30Speaker 3: He asked the question, if you think something is rigged
- 37:34Speaker 3: and you're still watching it, why would you do that
- 37:36Speaker 3: when we know they report on wrestling like it's an
- 37:40Speaker 3: actual event, they sell pay per view to it, and
- 37:44Speaker 3: we know going into it that the outcome is scripted.
- 37:47Speaker 3: So yeah, the hell we would, but you watch it
- 37:51Speaker 3: so outcome. But they do, but you don't. But he's
- 37:56Speaker 3: saying that he knows that the series is going, so
- 37:59Speaker 3: he knows that if he knows that the NBA is rigged,
- 38:04Speaker 3: then he don't know.
- 38:04Speaker 6: Then there's no need to watch game two, three, four,
- 38:09Speaker 6: because you already said it's gonna be Game six. So
- 38:13Speaker 6: if I already know it's gonna be a Game six,
- 38:16Speaker 6: I wouldn't watch tonight. I wouldn't watch the next game.
- 38:22Speaker 6: I would wait to see Game six because that's the
- 38:26Speaker 6: only game that matters. Well, might it might get there,
- 38:31Speaker 6: But like I said, it's a play in New York's
- 38:35Speaker 6: best interest. We watch reality TV? No, I don't watch it.
- 38:39Speaker 3: No, I'm saying as a country this, we we live
- 38:42Speaker 3: in a world where people watch what they call reality TV,
- 38:44Speaker 3: and that's scripted too.
- 38:47Speaker 6: So you're so you're telling me, if I'm in an
- 38:49Speaker 6: announcement right now that tonight score it's gonna be one
- 38:54Speaker 6: o eight Spurs ninety eight Nicks, you would watch this game.
- 39:03Speaker 6: You would rush home at eight thirty watch this game
- 39:05Speaker 6: to see if you're right. No, I just guaranteed you
- 39:08Speaker 6: what the game I told you.
- 39:10Speaker 3: He said he gonna see if he got If he
- 39:12Speaker 3: don't watch and see if you write somebody else put
- 39:14Speaker 3: money on it.
- 39:15Speaker 6: Once I saw the sixth set and knew that Bruce
- 39:18Speaker 6: Willis was a ghost, I didn't need to watch that
- 39:21Speaker 6: no more, because the whole gimmick was you I see
- 39:26Speaker 6: dead people. We didn't know till they I watched James Bond,
- 39:28Speaker 6: I knew, like when he got shot, I knew be
- 39:31Speaker 6: a ghost. So the rest of the movie was I
- 39:33Speaker 6: watched James Bond and Iron Man and all that, because
- 39:38Speaker 6: it's just how the movie goes. The hero stands at
- 39:42Speaker 6: the end. But when I watched The Games of Thrones,
- 39:46Speaker 6: I didn't know who was gonna survive. They killed four
- 39:49Speaker 6: of the people off the beak. That's what draw me in.
- 39:52Speaker 6: Did you just killed I thought he was the main dude.

- 42:27Speaker 19: I'll shing even very Jny.
- 42:31Speaker 6: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 42:33Speaker 6: Shock Wayne Candy. Interesting break right there, command you Greg
- 42:36Speaker 6: Kenny educating me on how the theories become about how
- 42:40Speaker 6: the game would start and Okay, they got some early
- 42:44Speaker 6: fouls on called Anthony Towns and blah blah blah, and
- 42:48Speaker 6: it's like I'm listening, like, well, you do know the
- 42:51Speaker 6: Spurs are gonna come with everything they have tonight, right, the.
- 42:56Speaker 1: People the conspiracy theories.
- 42:59Speaker 6: Yeah, like yeah, they're gonna They're gonna try, but some
- 43:03Speaker 6: we're gonna see something that happens early in the game
- 43:07Speaker 6: that could dictate how this game's gonna go. Yeah, the
- 43:10Speaker 6: energy of the Spurs. The Spurs need to win this game,
- 43:16Speaker 6: which means they have been laser focused. Everybody went to
- 43:19Speaker 6: sleep yesterday at one fifteen pm. They've been sleep for
- 43:24Speaker 6: the last eighteen hours. That's how actually athlete works. When
- 43:31Speaker 6: desperation sets in laser fo, when injury happens, when death happens,
- 43:36Speaker 6: the zone opens up. I'm next level. Now whatever might
- 43:44Speaker 6: get you to next level? I don't know, as the
- 43:47Speaker 6: proposing team, the maybe the energy, Maybe if every star
- 43:51Speaker 6: in New York show up on the sideline, might energize
- 43:55Speaker 6: you to meet me there. Because now it's the struggle
- 44:00Speaker 6: of wheels. Who wants this more? Have you ever been?
- 44:07Speaker 6: I'm I'm willing to break something. Last game, I wasn't
- 44:12Speaker 6: because I was, But tonight I'm willing to break something.
- 44:17Speaker 6: I'm gonna empty the energy on the court. I'm gonna
- 44:21Speaker 6: go to bed tired tonight. I told nobody to call
- 44:27Speaker 6: me until I win a game. Everything period. I put
- 44:36Speaker 6: Tabasco sauce on everything for the last two days and
- 44:38Speaker 6: everything is hot. That's It's all about picking who needs
- 44:44Speaker 6: who needs this game tonight more and all the issues
- 44:49Speaker 6: of Carl getting in foul trouble or whatever comes in
- 44:53Speaker 6: a function of that. But I see you with the
- 44:58Speaker 6: conspiracy because everything needs to be so what's real?
- 45:04Speaker 3: That's great questions from from there. No, no, I'm saying
- 45:08Speaker 3: now and this is not this is my thing when
- 45:15Speaker 3: you are talking about and just aside from AI and
- 45:20Speaker 3: I go back to wrestling because we saw the Black
- 45:24Speaker 3: Sox scandal and then there was a time when one
- 45:27Speaker 3: hundred percent, not just because we wanted to, but because
- 45:33Speaker 3: we were told one hundred percent unequivocally wrestling is real,
- 45:39Speaker 3: we believed it, and to my memory, it didn't shift
- 45:43Speaker 3: until some parents were trying to sue wrestling for some
- 45:46Speaker 3: moves a kid got injured trying to do and wrestling
- 45:51Speaker 3: was like, no, no, that ain't our fault because because
- 45:54Speaker 3: this ain't even real, And then everybody was like what
- 45:58Speaker 3: and then it went right back to being entertainment. So
- 46:02Speaker 3: if we were to find out that other types of
- 46:05Speaker 3: sports were just entertainment, I believe that they would survive.
- 46:10Speaker 3: They've survived all of the scandals this far. But I
- 46:14Speaker 3: honestly can't say that something can't be manipulated when I've
- 46:19Speaker 3: watched it be manipulated before. I can never say never.
- 46:23Speaker 3: It used to be we could get to a player.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Now we see him straight up manipulating officials and executives.
- 46:30Speaker 3: And who's to say that they a lot of people
- 46:33Speaker 3: say everybody has a price. Coca Cola got the kind
- 46:36Speaker 3: of money that'll make you decide your price if the
- 46:40Speaker 3: goal is to keep advertising. Amazon got the kind of
- 46:44Speaker 3: money that'll make you quantify yourself. If you have that
- 46:48Speaker 3: in you, you will find it with that kind of money.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Of vagab But how was it getting to the player? Though?
- 46:56Speaker 6: You keep talking about the NBA. Y'all keep talking about
- 46:58Speaker 6: the NBA, the NBA. What that got to do with
- 47:04Speaker 6: Jalen Bronson? He don't get any of the coch Cola
- 47:10Speaker 6: money he has. He has no reason unless you got
- 47:14Speaker 6: his son or daughter somewhere with a gun kidnapped to
- 47:18Speaker 6: extend this series.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Other than money.
- 47:22Speaker 6: His money is bigger when this series is over. If
- 47:27Speaker 6: I can get this over by Wednesday, I'm doing some
- 47:29Speaker 6: Disney World on Friday. I'm the toast of the town.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Now. Now though, I'm.
- 47:37Speaker 6: Trying to figure out where you're talking about wrestling, right,
- 47:39Speaker 6: what I'm saying is real. Everything about it go to
- 47:43Speaker 6: a match, except they're telling you who's gonna win and lose.
- 47:49Speaker 6: And they always called it entertainment. They're stunt men that
- 47:54Speaker 6: hurt their bodies. That's why half of them are drug
- 47:56Speaker 6: addicts go get thrown off the top rope and land,
- 48:03Speaker 6: and that would box sprint. We're talking about the difference
- 48:06Speaker 6: between I don't know where sports.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Came this idea and why do you watch it? It
- 48:15Speaker 1: doesn't come to the So it's been a conspiracy.
- 48:19Speaker 6: That the Cowboys are not supposed to win a Super Bowl?
- 48:24Speaker 6: When is it Jerry Jones has more money than God
- 48:27Speaker 6: in the world of football. Why hasn't he bought a championship?
- 48:32Speaker 6: It would benefit him more. It's been thirty years. If
- 48:38Speaker 6: they was all in it, they would let the Cowboys win.
- 48:43Speaker 1: They don't let a team win. They don't let a
- 48:53Speaker 1: team win. He muted you. That is hilarious with the audible.
- 49:04Speaker 1: He just muted you on his own. That's hilarious.
- 49:09Speaker 6: There's there's an entertainment there's an entertainment factor of what
- 49:13Speaker 6: would be what matchup would be entertaining, and that's this
- 49:19Speaker 6: is this isn't I'm saying this like this isn't something
- 49:22Speaker 6: that I agree with, But I'm saying that the way
- 49:27Speaker 6: that fans react to these kind of things and and
- 49:30Speaker 6: and start believing these conspiracy theories, it doesn't come down
- 49:34Speaker 6: to the to the players, It's always they You always hear,
- 49:38Speaker 6: like when a team loses or when someone's favorite team
- 49:41Speaker 6: lose or whatever. They always say all the referees were
- 49:44Speaker 6: doing this, The referees were doing that, and and nitpicking
- 49:47Speaker 6: where these calls happened.
- 49:49Speaker 3: What about the players who have come out and said
- 49:52Speaker 3: these Uh, I forget what these people came into the
- 49:57Speaker 3: locker room and say it. I don't need y'all to
- 50:00Speaker 3: win tonight because they was trying to tank to get
- 50:02Speaker 3: the first NBA draft. Look, I don't need us to
- 50:05Speaker 3: go out there and play at No. One hundred percent
- 50:07Speaker 3: the person who bucked against that man, I'm gonna give
- 50:09Speaker 3: it on my all. Where you gonna be out the
- 50:11Speaker 3: game tonight? Are you gonna play shorter minutes? Players say
- 50:15Speaker 3: that I.
- 50:16Speaker 6: Would need to have a conference with those players, and
- 50:18Speaker 6: most likely I don't. I've never heard that.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Wait till that segment. We'll be back well it Sports
- 50:26Speaker 1: Jock Show right after this even hold and on to
- 50:30Speaker 1: what I be league and Meddle. You'll never take that
- 50:36Speaker 1: from me. Jn't go away.
- 50:40Speaker 5: Board of the Sports John Show with Wayne Gambia is
- 50:43Speaker 5: comming up next.
- 50:48Speaker 23: It's four am Monday, and you're literally sucking baby snot
- 50:53Speaker 23: through a tube because she's congested. Man, that's love, And
- 50:57Speaker 23: if you love her that much, love her enough to
- 50:59Speaker 23: make sure she's buckled in the right car seat. To

- 51:18Speaker 11: Talking about guns with others might not always feel comfortable,
- 51:20Speaker 11: but it could save a life. Here's a way to
- 51:22Speaker 11: start a conversation. Your family is going over to your
- 51:25Speaker 11: neighbor's home for dinner for the first time. How would
- 51:28Speaker 11: you ask if there are any unlocked guns in the home?
- 51:30Speaker 12: Hey, Hey, we're so excited for tonight. Before we come over, though,
- 51:34Speaker 12: may ask if there are any unlocked guns in your home.
- 51:37Speaker 13: Our guns are stored securely, locked in a safe that
- 51:40Speaker 13: the kids can't access.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 51:43Speaker 11: Learn how to have the conversation at Agree to Agree
- 51:45Speaker 11: dot org, brought to you by the AD Council.
- 51:49Speaker 1: And now back to the sports. John Wayne Gandy.
- 51:55Speaker 4: Center Court on Sports News gossip blah blah BLib blah blah.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Welcome back to this what shock show.
- 52:23Speaker 6: I'm this whatshock wing again, Dee, Charles Oakley, James Dolan,
- 52:28Speaker 6: the owner of the Knicks. The Dolan family owns Madison
- 52:31Speaker 6: Square Garden. Uh, that is their money maker, probably owns
- 52:35Speaker 6: a couple of blocks in Manhattan which would put your
- 52:40Speaker 6: yearly income over the top.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Changed Dolan.
- 52:44Speaker 6: Charles Oakley, the strong power forward, a guy that really
- 52:49Speaker 6: you know, teeters on that Hall of Fame. I mean,
- 52:52Speaker 6: you know, think of Ben Wallace, those kind of guys
- 52:54Speaker 6: think of he was the first Draymond Green kind of
- 52:57Speaker 6: guy back in the days for the Bull in the
- 53:00Speaker 6: Knicks and a couple of other teams. Oak and James Dolan.
- 53:05Speaker 6: Really in this situation, he has been banned from Madison
- 53:10Speaker 6: Square Garden. A lot of people rumored to have been
- 53:14Speaker 6: trying to get this band from James Dolan lifted, like
- 53:18Speaker 6: Michael Jordan, even Adam Silver. In this situation, Charles Oakley
- 53:24Speaker 6: still upset that Patrick Ewing hasn't said anything, maybe to
- 53:28Speaker 6: help him out as well. I don't know, they haven't
- 53:32Speaker 6: said what happened between the two really, But Charles Oakley's
- 53:37Speaker 6: always moved with a big chip on his shoulder, always
- 53:40Speaker 6: in a defensive kind of posture when you talk about
- 53:44Speaker 6: at least from my vantage point looking from the outside in,
- 53:50Speaker 6: I figured the biggest thing Charles Oakley probably didn't or
- 53:56Speaker 6: he probably knew and he forgot, is that you can't
- 53:59Speaker 6: talk to an owner like you talk to a coach
- 54:05Speaker 6: or GM or a player. They're still remembering that the
- 54:11Speaker 6: owner is the owner. He's a businessman. He's not cut
- 54:15Speaker 6: from that cloth typically, and when you address him even
- 54:20Speaker 6: as different until he releases you, especially on the pro level,
- 54:26Speaker 6: the head coaches, whatever his name is, that's what you
- 54:28Speaker 6: call him, Dick bial tom that's how Hey, can I
- 54:35Speaker 6: talk to you? You know, Mike Tomake?
- 54:39Speaker 1: What can I talk to you?
- 54:41Speaker 6: There is no coach title in the pros for most
- 54:44Speaker 6: guys that stops in college. But mister Rooney, and you
- 54:49Speaker 6: do hear me say.
- 54:50Speaker 3: What mister Rooney, mister mister blank, mister blank.
- 54:58Speaker 6: Is addressed as that until they release you. Most guys,
- 55:04Speaker 6: when you we see it, even chatting about it now,
- 55:10Speaker 6: mister blink in them old nineteen seventy six, LEVI what
- 55:14Speaker 6: that might have been the original label, right, mister Blank,
- 55:18Speaker 6: mister Blair.
- 55:18Speaker 8: It's never that official or is that a custom that
- 55:21Speaker 8: that like, like, how did you know to that? Okay,
- 55:28Speaker 8: well you you addressed the the owner of the team
- 55:30Speaker 8: as mister Rudy his name.
- 55:33Speaker 1: That's that reality. That's established reality.
- 55:39Speaker 3: The person with the most authority, and generally that's the
- 55:42Speaker 3: person who owns everything garners the most respect. Because there
- 55:47Speaker 3: was a time when people were encouraged to be grateful
- 55:51Speaker 3: for the opportunity to work and earn a decent living.
- 55:54Speaker 3: So we were from mister Blank, we were we were
- 55:57Speaker 3: offering that homage, that homage to someone who saw me
- 56:03Speaker 3: and thought enough of me to pay me to do
- 56:06Speaker 3: what it is I do because the line was long,
- 56:10Speaker 3: so a lot of us say, we can do this.
- 56:15Speaker 1: So that used to be a time when hey, here.
- 56:17Speaker 3: Comes mister the guy that changed my life, and we
- 56:21Speaker 3: were fine doing that. A lot of people tried to
- 56:23Speaker 3: turn that into you know, you calling them mister and all,
- 56:26Speaker 3: like there was some sort of slave ownership.
- 56:29Speaker 1: But I'm just grateful for the opportunity to be able
- 56:31Speaker 1: to provide for me and mine.
- 56:33Speaker 7: I mean, that's anyone if you get an opportunity, I
- 56:36Speaker 7: don't care if your job is thirty thousand a year,
- 56:38Speaker 7: thirty million dollars a year, if that person gave you
- 56:40Speaker 7: an opportunity, if it's your first chance and for you
- 56:44Speaker 7: to make your career or to go where the generation,
- 56:47Speaker 7: you're always gonna be able to say, but I appreciate
- 56:50Speaker 7: that person.
- 56:50Speaker 1: But now with Charles Oakley a Nick when they had
- 56:53Speaker 1: their falling out.
- 56:55Speaker 6: You can't seem to get a lot of information why
- 56:59Speaker 6: this real? If maybe Greg knows, I know, he maybe
- 57:02Speaker 6: knows his story, but I know you can't really get
- 57:05Speaker 6: I do know, I know if he got in a
- 57:07Speaker 6: conversation with mister Dolan. Charles is one of those people
- 57:12Speaker 6: to forget his place and forget that mister Dolan is
- 57:17Speaker 6: not his peer, right and see when and that's we're
- 57:20Speaker 6: not peers, that's what question. We're not peers. Not everybody
- 57:23Speaker 6: else in here. The GM name is Kevin or whatever
- 57:28Speaker 6: his name, whoever their name is, Missy, everybody else we
- 57:34Speaker 6: are on the same. It changes because high school, college,
- 57:38Speaker 6: you were coaching me.
- 57:40Speaker 1: In the pros.
- 57:41Speaker 6: You just getting me to the field on Sunday, it's
- 57:44Speaker 6: a whole different. I'm not teaching you how to play football.
- 57:47Speaker 6: This is the biggest thing you have to learn. I've
- 57:49Speaker 6: said this before in the show. I'm not teaching you
- 57:51Speaker 6: how to play football. I'm teaching you who to block.
- 57:54Speaker 6: And if you can't play football, you won't be here.
- 57:58Speaker 6: You were supposed to already learn how to play football
- 58:03Speaker 6: or basketball. Yeah, we don't have time to teach you.
- 58:07Speaker 6: Players Union say, we got an hour in fifteen minutes.
- 58:10Speaker 1: I need you to be old.
- 58:11Speaker 6: I gotta get you ready. I got a fifteen minutes
- 58:14Speaker 6: to warm up, got to teach you to plays. And
- 58:17Speaker 6: we got to be out of here because the punter
- 58:18Speaker 6: over there with his watch on and he is the
- 58:21Speaker 6: players rep. And as soon as we go two minutes over,
- 58:24Speaker 6: he was pulling his cell pH on me. He's a punter.
- 58:26Speaker 6: He ain't did it and all day it ain't even
- 58:28Speaker 6: day to punt is Wednesday?
- 58:29Speaker 1: Yeah, tea time?
- 58:31Speaker 6: He about, Yeah, he about to miss his tea time.
- 58:33Speaker 6: He don't even change his clothes half the time because
- 58:35Speaker 6: we only punt on two on time. He said, No,
- 58:40Speaker 6: they're like this, so, but what it is is these
- 58:43Speaker 6: people are not your peers.
- 58:45Speaker 1: But I tell you what I tell you. What makes it?
- 58:48Speaker 21: Uh?
- 58:48Speaker 3: I thought it was interesting that they said Charles Oakley
- 58:51Speaker 3: thought that Patrick Ewing wasn't sticking up for him, and people,
- 58:54Speaker 3: so many people are coming to his defense. When you
- 58:57Speaker 3: said Charles Oakley forgot his play, that hit a lot
- 59:01Speaker 3: of people's ears wrong because.
- 59:03Speaker 1: They went back to the old slave master.
- 59:06Speaker 3: This what we be doing, what we're talking about, And
- 59:11Speaker 3: those are the things that get people in sensed. They
- 59:14Speaker 3: love to project that now be worth a whole amount
- 59:19Speaker 3: of money.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I've had young they my daughter or her friends.
- 59:25Speaker 6: I'm mister Gandy, your son, Yes, sir, yes, sir, I
- 59:30Speaker 6: would have to release you to call me Wayne or Mike.
- 59:37Speaker 6: I would like rap. I have to do that, yeah, mister.
- 59:42Speaker 6: And it has nothing to do with the skin, or
- 59:45Speaker 6: it has to do with we're not peers right right.
- 59:48Speaker 6: But again, that's that's not valued anymore.
- 59:52Speaker 1: No, it is.
- 59:52Speaker 3: If it's if you're talking generation generation, it is the
- 59:57Speaker 3: parent I'm saying, I'm saying generationally. That might be something
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: you teach in your home, but when you get outside
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: the house, society will try and call that out of
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: you and make you believe that somehow you're wrong for
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: being respectful. And I'm telling you what I see every day.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: I got a correct mind every single day when they
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: come back because they question in something that someone told
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: them that's opposite of what they've been taught.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Inside, they fall well. I mean sometimes show right after
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: this walk more Jewelue, more Louis V. My mama couldn't
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: get to to me. The drama people don't go away.

- 1:01:18Speaker 13: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 1:01:21Speaker 13: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:01:24Speaker 13: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own home.
- 1:01:27Speaker 18: Too.

- 1:02:09Speaker 16: You may.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Comes. I'm doing good.
- 1:02:25Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm gonna go on the.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Way you made.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: Welcome back to the sports Duck Shaw. I'm the sports Chuck,
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: Wayne g Indeed, the greatness is back. Serena Williams matches tomorrow,
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: forty four years old. Sady, She's gonna come back. All
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: this is just a function of dropping that weight. Feeling good.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: That's all it is. Feeling good, feeling good, looking good, and.
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: Can still do the sport. All athletes, if you could do,
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: you're gonna do it. You're gonna dabble. If you was
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: great at something, I'm gonna do it. You get yourself
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: in some good health, you start feeling feeling good about it,
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: you go back to it. She's fortunate enough to be
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: able to go back to it on a pro level,
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: whereas in certain sports, you know you're feeling good and
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: losing weight.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: For football, you just you just you're gonna dress up
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: for the party. Yes, you're gonna put your new outfit on.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: You just gonna go to the reunion of the new out.
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: Golfers, tennis players, people that are you know, just put
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: it back out there. They can go back out And
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: she's going back right now, as doubles to to see.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: But when I watch it, it's something that and I
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: say that because I felt like those lies for or
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: five years. If she had put herself in better shape
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: and you know, but she was having kids. So I
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: can't sit there and put that on her, like, oh
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: you could just snap back at thirty five, thirty six,
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: you just had a kid. Is not, you know, realistic.
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: So she, if you watched her, she was more versatile
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: until that point, and then she became because of her.
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: What made her the great is to serve. She could
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: serve herself out of trouble, and very few people are
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: dominant enough to be able to serve herself. And that's
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: how greatness work, That's how the Lebron's, that's how you
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: watch somebody like Kobe and Michael Jordan. They went when
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: they got older and did what. I can't run out
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: there on that parimeter. I'm going out into this box.
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: It worked this box for about three years. And when
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: I'm on the nights, i'm feeling good, I'll take you
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: off the dribble. But Mike and that wizard, hey man,
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: come on, meet me down here, come at you. I
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: can't be out there doing it. And that's that versatility.
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: And that's where Serena and that serve. Now, who's gonna
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: be her doublest partner. A young lady out of Canada.
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: I think she's like eighteen nineteen years old. I think
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: the tournament is tomorrow night. So good to see Serena
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: trying to find some happiness that she said she's not
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: doing anything but playing, and she's probably been back there
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: hitting the ball, feeling good, got that weight off those ankles,
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: moving around with Venus who's still out there, and it's
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: just hard. I mean, if you've never been in these things,
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: remember you didn't take it away, but time took away
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: the thing that I did the best. It took the
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: thing and I had a doctorate in I had ten
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: PhDs in and time said, well, you can't do it anymore.
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: So when y'all keep always retire, retire, Yeah you do
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: if you start falling off now, but as long as
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: somebody will pay you. Vince Carter, well, well see.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: Listen now when we talk about the Vince's, when we
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: talk about the Tracy mcgrady's, when we talked about unfortunately
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: the junior Sey Owles and others who have stepped up,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: the Brett Farz who have stepped away from the sport
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: felt like they still had a little something in the
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: tank and come back when they do it in football,
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: everybody wonder what's wrong with you? Oh, he's struggling. He
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: got that can't let it go. He might need some counseling.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: You know, he ain't gonna beat even got thirty seven.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Serena then came back after threefold babies. She on drugs
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: and on TV supporting drugs and she own and everybody.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Like, I ain't a wonderful She's just doing it for
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: the giggles, and why can't I just be doing it
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: for the giggles?
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: As Aaron Rodgers, that's kind of the situation with Aaron Donald,
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: like after the Rams traded for Miles Garrett, Like, Oh,
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: it's Aaron Donald gonna come out of retirement, even though
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: there's he has nothing to prove, Like he's got his championship,
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: He's gonna go to the Hall of Fame.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: But oh, you could win another Super Bowl? Is it
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: worth it?
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: Well, I'm saying these guys come back for whatever myriad
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: of reasons they hold in their hearts. But people see
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: that as a bad Here's.
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: The thing to the athlete, though, after you rest up,
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: the thing that puts you and makes you great is
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: the same thing that pushes you to want to go back.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: The idea of.
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: I wonder if you do it again. I wonder if
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: I could figure way to play.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: At this age. I wonder that's in everybody that does
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: something that's competitive.
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: But but it doesn't take a physical As a comedian,
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: your job doesn't take a direct competition against another another
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: human being that I had to prove this against. You're
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: truly proving this against yourself. He we're mental against the
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: audience kind of thing.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Right, I'm out here, Can I block this guy? Can
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I throw this river? Trust me? Yeah?
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: He had been playing and retired coaching out there throwing
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: the ball around and throwing warming the receivers up and
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: one of the little young quarterback coach, you still got it,
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: He went on, I did have a little zimp on
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: that when that one spent off my hands, right hmm.
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: I heard the win on that one. That was the
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: old figure. That was Phield ninety three. I'm not gonna
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: go bang on a door, but but the coach did
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: call and say, hey, man, what you doing?
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: But I'm saying I had a little zimp today, Greg,
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: And for hel everybody was on some all field. Don't
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: do it, man, I did never thought it would happen
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: in the field.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: And why do they do that?
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Is it because they're afraid they'll get hurt. I mean
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: because Serena could sprain something. She could, you know, injure herself.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: But I just think it's interesting how everyone is one
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: hundred percent behind Serena with some gold girl, but you
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: let the sports yacht come out of her time at
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: tomorrow and now they want to have a counseling session.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: You want to see if you okay, you know how
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: you've been doing them? Yeah, you've been sleeping well, those
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: kind of things.
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: Then I just think that that's kind of a slant,
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: and I think it's sort of neat that she's coming
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: back doubles because a lot of the time her and
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: her venus, they did win a lot of championships a
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: doubles and a lot that wasn't really put out there
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: as much.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: You really had to be deep as a tennis fan
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: to know that they were dominating doubles. So you think
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: that possibly.
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: This will help her get possibly to get to a
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: singles if she can see where her strength and where
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: she at as far as her conditioning, because I, you know,
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: really don't understand no tennis like that, but I'm just
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: wondering the doubles instead of coming back to a singles
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: is that going to Could that help lead back to
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: her try to be probably trying to play in a major.
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: I would imagine that Serenazz wants to find a way
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: to get back on the tennis court. I don't know,
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: at forty four, two kids and a husband, she is
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: going to want to dedicate herself to what conditioning would
- 1:10:05Speaker 6: be to be a singles player.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Doubles players.
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: If you look at a lot of the greats when
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: they did did leave the single they did do doubles
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: for three four years after because it's half of the energy.
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: I can, you know, just going down to my local
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: tennis center. I can do this, but it would take
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: a complete effort to get back to being able to
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: do it just by her.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Line the line for six hours. Like I said.
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: It's like I said, with basketball, most basketball players that's
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: why ice Cube came up with the half court right,
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: because they can leave. Joe Johnson can play half a court.
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: The problem with old and playing basketball.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Shot.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: I still got my shot, but I can't ran out.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: By the time I get down here, I ain't got
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: no more time to shoot them. Bart here trying to
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: box out on the rebound. I got to run all
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: the way down there, make a shot. We can stop,
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: all right, weat the ball pack.
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: Just throw this out and take it out. That's why,
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: and that's what it becomes. And they can go to
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: the LA fitnesses and places like that and just halfway
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: don't move right. But in the NBA, ant Man gone, yeah,
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: and I'm looking at it, don't you got ant Man,
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: I can't chase that chase that dude's hard. So what
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: else we have in UFC? Freedom to fifty that's coming
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: up at the White House.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: The fight.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: Do you have guys have any issue with the White
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: House hosting of the UFC fight? I know USC for
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: the Freedom to fifty. I don't really have no issue
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: with it.
- 1:11:51Speaker 16: Right.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: It's a lot of other things that are hosted at
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: the White House in the past, you know, dealer's choice,
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: But to on this kind.
- 1:11:58Speaker 8: Of scale where they're they're building an arena on the
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: White House lawn, it just certainly goes against what we
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: think a White House event.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Isn't it a pay per view event? I'm not sure
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: if it's streaming free. I have to look at it
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: doing the.
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: Break see because now, and this is a lot of
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: people have issue with it, but I've always and maybe
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: because my idea of politics is shaped from where I'm
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: from in Chicago, and we talked about that. There's Chicago politics,
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: and Trump operates like a Chicago politician. My boy got
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: an mma fight company. I'm the president. Let's make some look,
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna put them out on the lawn. We're gonna
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: charge some people. He'll make a couple hundred million, I
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: might make a billion or two. We have a really
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: good time.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Why not.
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: But while we so selective with our what we want
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: to keep established versus what we don't. The funeral procession
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: used to come by. People would pull to the side
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: of the road, right and let the funeral procession go by.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: We cool not doing that anymore. We're cool with wearing
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: hats and different places and buildings. When I mean so
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: we we we we want certain things to hold, but
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: then we selective in now we want the White House
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: to stand for something, but on another issue, we don't
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: care about the White House stand. So, I mean, it's
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: just a house.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: That kind of If chazy want to wrap New York
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: state of mind in the White House, it's fine. But
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: if you want to get out there and fight on
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: the lawn, then that's disrespectful.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: And like I said, dealer's choice.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Whoever the president is, whatever his sensibilities are, those are
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: the actions that you'll see carried out in that administration. So, uh,
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: what can you do actually that they either decide if
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: you're an mm A fan or not.
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: Well, I'm saying, we got traditions we want to uphold,
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: and then we have just in you know, our offices
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: used to be you had to be married, you couldn't
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: be divorced, and all different things.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: And we gave way to that stuff. But then oh
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: but no, let's stick to this one. Why well, they said,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: people people pick and choose.
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: Uh, your values are different or or they or people
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: don't they don't care about what the symbolism or meaning
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: or or or decorum or anything like that. Like let's
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: do something different just to.
- 1:14:42Speaker 12: Just to do it.
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: Well, there was a wonder time where everybody used to
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: stand up for the flag.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: The flag.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: Everybody, no question, put their hand over their heart, took
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: their hats off. Now people, so they used to do
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: it every morning at school.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Pudgely back this don't bowl Wayne.

- 1:17:13Speaker 6: in Florida. Uh and Fetti Wop lyric was in the
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: news last week whereas in the yearbook. Yeah, and he
- 1:17:21Speaker 6: felt like the principle of vice principal allowed it to
- 1:17:25Speaker 6: be in there. And a lot of people took offense.
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: And it's like, well, how did you know the lyric?
- 1:17:32Speaker 6: I would have read the lyric and just thought somebody
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: thought there was moonlighting as a rap as a rapper sounded,

- 1:20:37Speaker 3: In an effort to bridge the gap between the generations,
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: the young model lady Emily Radjakowski at thirty.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Five, clunk klonk.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: We're just gonna bring her on board in a mentorship.
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: You know, it's like a mentorship capacity sports shot. I mean,
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: you know, don't think that I'd be interested in a
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: hot tall philupsious supermodeled right Evergradjakowski, it's just since not
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: really what you now, not what men are into. I
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: would just like to pick our brain on certain things.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: Whether the president should go to the game. Yeah, we're
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: gonna be talking about the watch party. That's what we
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: uh well with Stacey King.
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: Unfortunately the Oklahoma Great one of three championships with the
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: Chicago Bay I mean Bill, excuse me. The Chicago Bulls
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: is fifty nine years of age. He passed away. Uh
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: is Stacy King? One report said maybe he failed? I
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: do know the last time I saw Stacy somebody needed
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: to tell him by some sneakers and get him to walk.
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: He was like real huge. That was part of the
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: problem of how he kind of ate hisself out of
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: the league, right right. He was an eighty nine top.
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: He was a lottery pick. Yeah, he was like the
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: he was dynamic verse six or seven pick.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Him and wayneon TIDEVI was some bad boys or whatever.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: And sports shock you professional athlete?
- 1:22:02Speaker 12: Is that.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Is that general human condition?
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: Or how does that happen that I go from being
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: an athlete to being morbidly obese? There was no moment
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: in that where something said, I mean, I ain't trying
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: to run line the line as a singles player.
- 1:22:23Speaker 16: No, more.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: I don't even want to do doubles. I just want
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: to make sure that I'm not four hundred and sixty
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: three pounds. How does that happen?
- 1:22:31Speaker 10: Uh?
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Some people really just let the.
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: Athlete the accountability. Some guys, only the athletics is keeping
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: them down. Oh that's what's keeping them thin. I gotta
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: go to work, Yeah, I got that's work. Yeah, I
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: gotta go to work right the way in. And then
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: after that, I bro I.
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: Mean to eat a double cheese peak because I can
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: afford the double chief peak. I'm not trying to do
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: any kind of exercise exercise because that reminds me too
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: much all I've been doing since I was eleven twelve
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: on somebody's scale, lifting somebody's weight, running somebody's field, practicing.
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: Here and there.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: And some guys when it's over, man, they just are
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: like really done done. And it's interesting.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: A lot of comedian friends of mine, myself included, when
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: people are around me in my regular life, they'll comment
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: to friends and family members, Man, he way different than
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: I thought he'd be. He's so quiet that dude, don't
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: really be And I've been talking all day. I don't
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: want to talk no more. You know what I mean,
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: and maybe athletes. I know, Charles Barkley claims to have
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: not ever played basketball since he retired. He's never touched
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: a basketball. It's his assertion. I haven't touched a basketball
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: since retirement, and so I can imagine maybe he's not
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: the only one. But that's you know, that's it's sad
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: sometimes to see.
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: Yeah Chuck, even in this announcing. I always say, I
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: when I watch somebody like a Reggie Miller, he gives
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: you the feeling in his commentating and that's why I
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: like it, like he likes to watch basketball. He would
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: be doing this even if T and T and those
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: polices one paying him or how he'd have been looking
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: forward to the game tonight right like he'd carved out
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: some time. Charles Barklay always gives you like, if it
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: wasn't for to check this show, yeah, I wouldn't even
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: remember basketball. It seems like with Michael Jordan's Michael Jordan
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: gives you the feel like he doesn't. He's more concerned
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: about fishing and his hobbies than he is ever worried
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: about watching a basketball game.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: But now with a Michael Jordan.
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: That doesn't mean he does I'm just saying his disposition
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: is I kind of lightweight. Even when people ask him questions,
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: it seemed like him play And part of what I
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: part of.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: What I wonder is.
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: When you step away like they did, feeling like I've
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: made my impact on the game. I ain't really got
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: nothing to prove, like Serena, I'm just out of here
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: having fun. I ain't really got to keep talking about basketball.
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: Google me. You know Barkley, you know Jordan so uh.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: I think that's interesting. But to see the health go
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: from the epitome of human construction to damn, what happened
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: to your boy whatever?
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: In the States. Yeah, we'll be back right after.
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: This, John Boy, Wayne Board of the Sports John Show
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: with Wayne Gandia's coming up next.
- 1:25:41Speaker 18: I'm a pretty great multitasker. I can wash dishes and
- 1:25:45Speaker 18: do laundry. I can roller skate while walking my dogs.
- 1:25:49Speaker 18: I can even order lunch while doing my homework. But
- 1:25:52Speaker 18: I can't use my phone while driving. A distracted driver
- 1:25:55Speaker 18: is one of the leading causes of death in the
- 1:25:57Speaker 18: United States. So when it comes to driving, please don't
- 1:26:00Speaker 18: be a multitasker.
- 1:26:02Speaker 26: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 1:26:04Speaker 26: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Project yellow Light and the
- 1:26:08Speaker 26: AD Council.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Hurting the game.
- 1:26:12Speaker 15: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on feeling down.
- 1:26:18Speaker 15: We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
- 1:26:21Speaker 15: times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us
- 1:26:25Speaker 15: and we need to talk to someone about what we're
- 1:26:27Speaker 15: really going through. So we're going to reach out because
- 1:26:31Speaker 15: sometimes mental health is not a one person job?
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: Is it?
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Love your Mind Today dot org?
- 1:26:36Speaker 15: That's love your Mind Today dot org, brought to you
- 1:26:38Speaker 15: by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the head counsel.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: All right, son, time to put out this campfire?
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: Dad?
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: We learned about this in school. Oh did you now? Okay?
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: What's first? Smokey Bear said, too, first, drown it with
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: the bucket of water, then stir it with the shovel. Wow,
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: you sound just like him. Then he said, if it's
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: still warm, then do it again. Where can I learn
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: all this?
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: It's all on smokey bear dot com with other wildfire
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: prevention tips, because only you can prevent wildfires.
- 1:27:07Speaker 10: Brought to you by the USDA for Service, your state Forester,
- 1:27:10Speaker 10: and the AD Council.
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: But JA.
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: That means that do not to stop.
- 1:27:16Speaker 12: And when going.
- 1:27:18Speaker 21: I need you, they say, please don't always sing with me, so.
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: That means that do not stop. And when you going.
- 1:27:29Speaker 21: JA they say, please don't always remember.
- 1:27:32Speaker 26: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 1:27:35Speaker 26: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the
- 1:27:39Speaker 26: AD Council.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: And now back to the Sports John Wayne.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: Gandy Player's Lounge. You have been given full access to
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: the player's lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: Welcome back to the Sportshock Show. I'm the Sportshock Wing
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: can tie the Caitlyn Clark. One of the thing I've
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: been watching just in the media cycle last week, Kaitlyn
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: Cark and her coach, Stephanie White on the sideline. And
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: I'm always amazed how any kind of dust up between
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: a player and their coach becomes a story, because I'm
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: always amazed why y'all think we as players, the players, coaches,
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: the players don't like.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: Have dust ups because that's how it reads out in
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: the media.
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: The media makes it seem like anytime you see a riff,
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: two players on the sideline yelling at each other or shoving,
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: or two coaches or two the quarterback comes off the
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: field and they barking. They always write the story like
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: in almost like disbelief.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: There's a campaign that started like or a lot of
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: fans want the Fever to fire Stephanie White.
- 1:29:19Speaker 8: Because of she's she's treating Caitlyn bad. Even though it's
- 1:29:27Speaker 8: this player coach talking. It's gonna get tense. But what
- 1:29:32Speaker 8: fans want want her fired because they think she's being
- 1:29:35Speaker 8: mean to Kaitlyn.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: Why why should she be expected to treat Caitlyn any
- 1:29:42Speaker 3: different than she treats anyone else. It'd be different if
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: the fans wanted her fired because she's mean to her team,
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: or she's being mean to the players, or she's just
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: a mean person. But you mean, I'm saying regardless to
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: add to Caitlyn on to it. To me, it's just
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: like sports Shock was saying about protecting traditions. It's some
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: stuff you want to champion and then some stuff you
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: okay with. So it's cool if she screamed at the
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: rest of them, But if you scream at Caitlyn, now
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: we got to fire you. Because I can't imagine she
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: picked that night to be the first time she challenged somebody.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Well that's what I'm saying.
- 1:30:21Speaker 6: I just don't get the part where everybody's always taken
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: back that coaches and players yellah at each other. Yeah,
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: I have no idea. I mean, as y'all help me
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: out with this. Why is everybody bad producer and always
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: so like? Can you believe they're yelling at each other?
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: Why is that always betrayals, freewheel, choke his coach cao camera? Okay,
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: either way, doesn't answer why the public seems like that.
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: I think people always romantic size that, and I've watched
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: it happen in real life. Uh here in this room
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: where they have romanticize that. The relationship between the coach
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: and player is a kin to a bagger of vance,
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: and the golfer is a kin to a mentor, and
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: a mentee is a father son mother daughter. Relationships fall
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: out all the time and argue, but they expect you
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: to somehow defer authority to this person and let them
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: say what they need to say in the heat of competition.
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: You be willing to absorb that in a developed way,
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: And that's just not reality. I think there's a people
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: have an expectation of what the of what the relationship
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: is is and what it's supposed to be. They're supposed
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: to be on the same page and always agree and
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: be nice and professional to each other.
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: Sending this play in and the professional change the play
- 1:32:04Speaker 6: bro that safety is not gonna roll with that motion.
- 1:32:08Speaker 6: Check out of this.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on? Great? Did did that s ob
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: tell you to change my plate?
- 1:32:15Speaker 18: Hey?
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: Hey, hey, come here? Let me hey, hey, come, you
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: got to the you know, come here. Let me was
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: over there. Let me talk.
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: You tell to work. You go in, you go in
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: for him. You ain't out here, Mike, okay, and yo,
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: and you ain't out here no more either.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: You ain't out here, Mike. You ain't out here no
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: more either. Get your replacement in there, get your back
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: up in there.
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: Cool. They were firing you after this game anyway. Oh see,
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: you know what you I ain't never liked you. And
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: since I'm going after this, I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: I ain't never liked you.
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: I'm gonna start somewhere, Mike, and I'll coach somewhere you
- 1:32:49Speaker 6: some month. So well up, but your play still ain't
- 1:32:52Speaker 6: gonna work. I your fat, y'all, because you're not understanding.
- 1:32:58Speaker 6: As I said earlier, we are in this on a
- 1:33:03Speaker 6: pro level, we're the meeting of the minds trying to win.
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: There is no god up here. And then we're on
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: the floor.
- 1:33:12Speaker 6: We started the meeting. What play do y'all want to
- 1:33:15Speaker 6: run when we're in this situation? Right? Remember we said
- 1:33:19Speaker 6: if we fourth and two, we were gonna run this play.
- 1:33:24Speaker 6: We fourth and two, you didn't run the play. So
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: I'm coming to the sideline and reminding you we didn't
- 1:33:31Speaker 6: run the play. All week we practiced the play mike.
- 1:33:36Speaker 6: And that's why I'm saying with the fan, y'all are
- 1:33:38Speaker 6: still because most people's experience of any type of sport
- 1:33:42Speaker 6: is high school, where the player doesn't have a voice exactly.
- 1:33:50Speaker 6: And that's what I'm always trying to break that egg
- 1:33:52Speaker 6: on all of you, and all of the sensibilities of
- 1:33:56Speaker 6: the majority of the people still have it in an
- 1:33:58Speaker 6: egg of high school. You're relating everything, how we're moving
- 1:34:04Speaker 6: in the locker room. Oh, Jalen Brown, Uh, Jalen Hurts
- 1:34:08Speaker 6: and AJ Brown don't talk. And I've won fourteen games
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: in the NFL season where the two receivers don't even
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: like the quarterback always sitting there talking about Man, I'm
- 1:34:19Speaker 6: like pool Gee, get me off me, man, I'm about
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: to go at him. Hey, bro, don't get the man.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: We gotta y'all like were in here all having dinner. Yeah,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: they don't even like you, bruh, and you don't like them.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: I'm mis stuck in between. But you some people don't
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: like It's kind of like and in corporate America you
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: have coworkers. You may not like that. That's how it
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: can be on a professional sports sports different. We don't
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: all live in the same neighborhood.
- 1:34:50Speaker 6: We're not all our parents, don't go to the same church, right,
- 1:34:53Speaker 6: and how sports different people don't produce.
- 1:34:57Speaker 8: Don't notice that, don't under like we talked about that
- 1:35:00Speaker 8: dynamic earlier in the show where the high school, college,
- 1:35:06Speaker 8: the player coach relationship is it changes or it is
- 1:35:11Speaker 8: vastly different on the professional level. I think a lot
- 1:35:14Speaker 8: of like a lot of fans don't. And I'm trying
- 1:35:17Speaker 8: to trying to help the listeners who are listening now
- 1:35:20Speaker 8: to understand. There's part of what you might know because
- 1:35:23Speaker 8: you were on your high school whatever team. There's a
- 1:35:27Speaker 8: little bit of that, but very little what you think
- 1:35:33Speaker 8: is sports is pro sports. I don't run for being late.
- 1:35:41Speaker 8: There's no chastising. They just take the two grand out
- 1:35:46Speaker 8: my check. We don't have no long discussion. I ain't
- 1:35:50Speaker 8: scared like when you're in high school where you're late
- 1:35:52Speaker 8: and you're scared to go into the practice walk in
- 1:35:57Speaker 8: the building man while you're late, man, he and mean moving.
- 1:36:01Speaker 8: I don't have to, not really if I like you
- 1:36:05Speaker 8: or not. But it's things we don't do updowns. There's
- 1:36:10Speaker 8: no punishment session.
- 1:36:14Speaker 18: That.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: There's none of that.
- 1:36:16Speaker 6: You jumped off side so we got to run ten
- 1:36:18Speaker 6: extra leapt I ain't even practicing today, y'all think it's
- 1:36:22Speaker 6: just be jokes. I'm I'm tired, man. I don't even
- 1:36:27Speaker 6: want to practice on Wednesday.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: No more.
- 1:36:30Speaker 6: These are I think, and I know the sensibilities of
- 1:36:34Speaker 6: high school seem to permeate of how things. But Caitlyn
- 1:36:37Speaker 6: Clark and Stephanie White jobs is to figure out how
- 1:36:40Speaker 6: to win games. If anything I see when I watch
- 1:36:43Speaker 6: them play, Caitlyn Clark wants to go back to her
- 1:36:47Speaker 6: rookie offense and Stephanie White has brought in an offense
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: that's more position where Caitlyn comes down and runs a play.
- 1:36:59Speaker 6: They just want to get the ball and go. Remember
- 1:37:02Speaker 6: they was one that's all they got the ball, throw
- 1:37:06Speaker 6: it up the court. Stephanie White has them more in
- 1:37:08Speaker 6: a traditional kind of offense. The frustration seems that Stephanie
- 1:37:20Speaker 6: at points Caitlyn don't want to do it and that,
- 1:37:23Speaker 6: and Caitlyn shows it to her and vice versa. Because
- 1:37:29Speaker 6: it used to be I get the ball if I
- 1:37:30Speaker 6: think I'm open, I get to shoot. Now I got
- 1:37:32Speaker 6: to pass the ball to commands, Greg run around here,
- 1:37:35Speaker 6: get the ball back from Big Kenny, and try to
- 1:37:38Speaker 6: get to get the ball to bad producer.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: Now I can shoot.
- 1:37:41Speaker 3: Well by now out of scorts before, but now now
- 1:37:47Speaker 3: you got a wide open shot.
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: I made it easier.
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: Nah man, we don't waste the six seconds doing all that.
- 1:37:53Speaker 6: I could have just pulled when I crossed hald court.
- 1:37:55Speaker 3: And just pulled it out. But that ain't what she coaching.
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: That's not what she's coaching, coaching to make you better.
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: So not in my mind, yeah, not in their mind.
- 1:38:07Speaker 3: But remember they tried to put Carmelow in that triangle offense.
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: Remember they were trying to run that offense that Kobe ran,
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: and they were trying to make Mark that wasn't mellow game.
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: What was he supposed to do at like, but just
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: go along with it. Yeah, and if what you've done
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: to get to.
- 1:38:33Speaker 8: To get to this point, now we've got to do
- 1:38:36Speaker 8: something completely different and out of my comfort zone.
- 1:38:39Speaker 3: And I think that sometimes once you become a professional
- 1:38:43Speaker 3: and you finally get comfortable in that posture, you become
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: even more vocal when you realize that I'm not here
- 1:38:53Speaker 3: because somebody just liked me.
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: I earned my spot.
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: Well that's what I Wait a minute, uh, Coach White,
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: what they do with Kathy whatever your name is, I'm
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: not calling you coach anymore.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: Hold on, Kathy, Steffanie, watch your mouth. That's what I mean.
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: Corporate in sports basically what you just said. That's your
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: to answer your question. The sports you got to earn.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: You have to play. Corporate is like whose friend, who's who?
- 1:39:22Speaker 3: Know?
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: You are put? How many? How? How many times have
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: you worked in corporate America? Oh? Several times? That is
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: a component of it.
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: But still once you are an established professional, that's why
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: they have arguments in board meetings to you telling me
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: about the delivery numbers. And you don't work in delivery,
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: so shut up and just let me do my job.
- 1:39:47Speaker 3: And you work in human resources. That you hire people.
- 1:39:50Speaker 3: I work delivery, so it goes both ways.
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Back for the Sports Jock Show read after this and.
- 1:39:56Speaker 9: I'm caught up in a moment right because you know
- 1:39:59Speaker 9: even time time ya, But we're gonna do everything in.

- 1:42:11Speaker 19: Log on, say you don't can see a sports jaint,
- 1:42:15Speaker 19: I'll sing even.
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: What you make this sports shock Show. I'm the sports
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: Shock win game.
- 1:42:21Speaker 6: Love getting on that just trying to because I Greg,
- 1:42:24Speaker 6: I realized that ninety nine percent of people, if you
- 1:42:27Speaker 6: that's why they say only a few people make to
- 1:42:29Speaker 6: even understand. This is why different guys when they get
- 1:42:33Speaker 6: in issues with people that are on television giving too
- 1:42:37Speaker 6: heavy of an opinion. It's because you sound like we're
- 1:42:41Speaker 6: in high school, like we just show up here. We
- 1:42:45Speaker 6: don't coaches put you in the best position, but we
- 1:42:51Speaker 6: don't go to meeting talking about who in shape? Now,
- 1:42:55Speaker 6: we just sit down like this and all of us
- 1:42:58Speaker 6: are expected that we and eight right, that's that was
- 1:43:03Speaker 6: in the contract, was it? Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:43:05Speaker 6: We didn't here, we're not having a meeting about and
- 1:43:09Speaker 6: then we don't.
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: Know about that.
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: And if you not to be in shape, we just
- 1:43:14Speaker 3: moved to the penalty phase. Ain't no more talking about
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: it to the next person. Yeah, but we don't get
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: into those kind of little things. And in high school,
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: your stands don't have to be Lucky's staying. Your job
- 1:43:27Speaker 3: is to get this guy blocked. I don't care how, when, where,
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: So it's just you know, different things. We're always be
- 1:43:35Speaker 3: there to talk about that.
- 1:43:36Speaker 6: The Bears, the Chicago Bears close close to moving to Indiana.
- 1:43:43Speaker 6: Remember they're trying to get that new stadium. They really
- 1:43:45Speaker 6: feel like, whatever city I gotta find the name of it,
- 1:43:48Speaker 6: it's in northwest Indian Hammond. They're trying to make Hammond
- 1:43:53Speaker 6: into something over there. I tell you what, how far
- 1:43:56Speaker 6: it is Hammond from the city of Chicago.
- 1:43:59Speaker 3: Isn't it like right next to it? It's almost sort
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: of like what Notre Dame is to Chicago. You get
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: there and you know our twenty minutes something like that.
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: So I can get from the Chicago stadium where I
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: used to go to him, and what if I go ahead.
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: In probably about an our hour, fifteen minutes something like that?
- 1:44:19Speaker 6: Is that far enough away to make it to lose
- 1:44:23Speaker 6: the Chicago title at some point I or see Chicago
- 1:44:28Speaker 6: have another team at some point.
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: In Chicago is the New York Yeah, Chicago so petty
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: that they would try and do that. The reason the
- 1:44:36Speaker 3: Bears are probably having a move is because of petty
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: Chicago politics. Why would you not keep the Bears where
- 1:44:41Speaker 3: they are? Why would you not give them a stadium?
- 1:44:43Speaker 3: They're the Chicago freaking Bears. But you will sit with
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: him and go, well, wait a minute, now, we got
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: other priorities, like what like, what is your priority outside?
- 1:44:54Speaker 6: I mean, one of the biggest revenue this stay stadium
- 1:44:57Speaker 6: would be indoors though, right, it'll be a don't a dome? Right,
- 1:45:01Speaker 6: come on, man, off put it. It was offered to
- 1:45:06Speaker 6: put a dome on Soldier Field, offering to put a
- 1:45:08Speaker 6: dome shoulder the Soldier Soldier Field faithful don't want a dome,
- 1:45:17Speaker 6: right right. It's like offering the people of Pittsburgh don't
- 1:45:22Speaker 6: want and see and that you can lose the team
- 1:45:26Speaker 6: talking about and that's my thing, you do.
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: They don't want freeze, that's what they want.
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: That's what they want to And it's a huge risk
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: that you're gonna move number one to a whole nother
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: state and then dome it and Chicago fans will go
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: where y'all be the Indiana Bears and we'll come up
- 1:45:49Speaker 3: with a whole new teach Chicago Bears.
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: And we'll play outside and we'll do all of that.
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: But there the city with enough people to do it
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: is why I brought it up.
- 1:45:57Speaker 6: It needs to be Giants at Chargers Rams kind of
- 1:46:03Speaker 6: situation would.
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: Be issue if they were the Chicago Land Bears. Oh yeah,
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: the Chicago land Bear Steph Curry.
- 1:46:12Speaker 6: INA's Canter Freedom has labeled Steph Curry a communist. Steph
- 1:46:19Speaker 6: has decided to align himself with a Chinese shoe company
- 1:46:24Speaker 6: brand called lean Ning. I think it's how you say
- 1:46:29Speaker 6: the lies yea le Ing and Eni's Canter Freedom who
- 1:46:36Speaker 6: formulated was Enis cantor laid in the NBA about seven
- 1:46:39Speaker 6: eight years I would say something like that, Si Steph
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: is communists by linking up with this Chinese shoe brand.
- 1:46:49Speaker 6: Steph Curry looking for a shoe, He's uh one because
- 1:46:56Speaker 6: it's it's Enis Canter Freedom.
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: Who who this is?
- 1:46:59Speaker 8: This is kind of his stick since he's left the league.
- 1:47:03Speaker 8: But Steph's not the first player to have a signature
- 1:47:09Speaker 8: line with this company. Dwayne Wade and Jimmy Butler are
- 1:47:14Speaker 8: are part of it as well, And even during the
- 1:47:18Speaker 8: seat during this past season, Steph wasn't with under Armor,
- 1:47:21Speaker 8: so he was wearing he could wear whatever shoe he wants,
- 1:47:25Speaker 8: so him having Jimmy Butler as a teammate, he tried
- 1:47:28Speaker 8: it out and because of the I think under Armor
- 1:47:35Speaker 8: or another company offered a contract, but with Leaning it
- 1:47:41Speaker 8: was more money and he's going to have a golf
- 1:47:43Speaker 8: line coming out.
- 1:47:44Speaker 6: So he's but is the tone of what enis cancer
- 1:47:48Speaker 6: saying really the tone of our country though, Because if
- 1:47:52Speaker 6: I needed a shoe brand and it was aligned with
- 1:47:56Speaker 6: somebody that was with Maga, y'all would be.
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: Up in arms. Yeah.
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: I mean that it's one of those trigger terms. So
- 1:48:06Speaker 3: if it's China, then you know someone China is a
- 1:48:10Speaker 3: communist statement, and that's a republic, that's a that's a
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: that could be that's a trigger for this kind of comment.
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: Hey go go get your money, sef.
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: I mean I think that the problem is though I'm
- 1:48:28Speaker 3: trying to figure ot who you're selling the shoes to.
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: I mean, I've never hurt. Can I get your shoes
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: in America?
- 1:48:33Speaker 3: Uh? That's that's Those are the things I'm looking at.
- 1:48:36Speaker 3: But I didn't know Jimmy Butler, that's knowledge was at
- 1:48:41Speaker 3: his own shoe line.
- 1:48:42Speaker 7: I thought he was with New Balance or whatever. So
- 1:48:44Speaker 7: I communists, nah, I mean if that's the case, the
- 1:48:49Speaker 7: whole NBA is communist. I mean any other sports. I
- 1:48:51Speaker 7: mean we accept this world money with all our sports anyway.
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: So big Kenny, and it is this kind of what
- 1:48:58Speaker 3: the country you expect me to research everybody I do
- 1:49:02Speaker 3: business with. Ye, I gotta I gotta know how you think,
- 1:49:04Speaker 3: and how you pray and what your value. You came
- 1:49:08Speaker 3: to me and said, do you want to make some money?
- 1:49:10Speaker 3: But yes, that's how we expect crazy people that we
- 1:49:14Speaker 3: don't like. That's crazy to search.
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: Then your delusional.
- 1:49:21Speaker 3: Your delusional if you expect me to turn down any
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: money because I research that this person supports some person
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: that you don't support and got nothing to do with me.
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: Worry about yourself.
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: Part of why we are in the position we are
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: is because you keep trying to block my man.
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: You sound like a freedom fighter. Hey, whatever it is,
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: whatever it is, I tell you what.
- 1:49:47Speaker 3: I bet I can't go back to my home country though,
- 1:49:51Speaker 3: I bet they won't let me come back to Turkey.
- 1:50:03Speaker 1: Don't go away.
- 1:50:04Speaker 5: Or of The Sports Jock Show with Wayne Danzidios dumming
- 1:50:07Speaker 5: up next.
- 1:50:09Speaker 16: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 1:50:12Speaker 16: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 1:50:16Speaker 16: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 1:50:19Speaker 16: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: Come on, we're smarter than this. Let's put down the
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: phones and focus on the roads. Drive safe, everybody, don't
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: drive distracted.
- 1:50:32Speaker 17: A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic
- 1:50:34Speaker 17: Safety Administration, Project yellow Light, and the AD Council.
- 1:50:39Speaker 10: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:50:42Speaker 10: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:50:45Speaker 10: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:50:49Speaker 10: life insurance.
- 1:50:50Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:50:52Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:50:54Speaker 27: Life insurance will's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:50:59Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:51:01Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:51:03Speaker 27: survive without me. That's why I'm in an appointment with
- 1:51:05Speaker 27: the insurance informant.
- 1:51:06Speaker 10: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:51:09Speaker 10: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:51:12Speaker 27: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:51:14Speaker 27: leave my family with bills their benefits.
- 1:51:16Speaker 10: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:51:19Speaker 10: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:51:21Speaker 10: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:51:23Speaker 10: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:51:27Speaker 10: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:51:32Speaker 10: Log on today Benefits or bills dot Com. That's Benefits
- 1:51:36Speaker 10: or Bills dot com.
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: And now back to the sports Job, Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:45Speaker 4: Now it's time put a school on board where we
- 1:51:48Speaker 4: put a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle.
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. War are
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: the hump?
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: You are a more.
- 1:52:10Speaker 6: Arm Welcome back to the sport Shock shall I'm the
- 1:52:20Speaker 6: sport shock Wayne Candy. I think the one thing just
- 1:52:22Speaker 6: to put a little bowl on that Chicago Bear thing.
- 1:52:24Speaker 6: Chicago Bear fans see themselves as and Soldier Field as
- 1:52:29Speaker 6: the epitome of football, just like Lambo Field for the
- 1:52:33Speaker 6: Green Bay Packers, just like the cathedral of whatever you
- 1:52:37Speaker 6: name something in Pittsburgh. I think that when you start
- 1:52:40Speaker 6: offering these cities to where you're going to take away
- 1:52:45Speaker 6: their idea what football is, you will always come. If
- 1:52:48Speaker 6: you try to go to Lambo and put a dome
- 1:52:51Speaker 6: on it. Issue issue, it's an issue. Everybody is not
- 1:52:58Speaker 6: trying to remove their history, Notre Dame. Once touchdown, Jesus,
- 1:53:05Speaker 6: you start trying to run a campaign, campaign to take
- 1:53:08Speaker 6: that out of the end zone, it becomes an issue.
- 1:53:12Speaker 6: Some people will in the fight to stand on some
- 1:53:14Speaker 6: of their traditions. I know a lot of people based
- 1:53:16Speaker 6: on the dollar amount will run away from theirs. But
- 1:53:19Speaker 6: that's what it always seems like in this situation.
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: In Chicago sees itself as a rough and tumble, bruised
- 1:53:25Speaker 3: knuckle city monsters under midway period.
- 1:53:28Speaker 6: Rebecca Grossman ex Dodger Scott Ericksson have been found libel
- 1:53:33Speaker 6: for a crash that killed two boys back in twenty twenty,
- 1:53:37Speaker 6: Mark and Jacob Cander. They were eleven and eight years
- 1:53:41Speaker 6: of age. Grossman has already been sentenced for fifteen years
- 1:53:46Speaker 6: in prison. They were racing on a street where Ericson
- 1:53:52Speaker 6: got by, but Grossman did not.
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: They hit the two kids in the walk way.
- 1:53:57Speaker 6: They have been it's some huge amount, want to say,
- 1:54:00Speaker 6: around two hundred and maybe one hundred and seventy million.
- 1:54:04Speaker 6: They've been charged with libel by ability in that seventy
- 1:54:07Speaker 6: six million. Yeah, malotk Creek High School up in North Carolina.
- 1:54:13Speaker 6: They have reversed that disqualification. Young man in the race
- 1:54:18Speaker 6: had a little celebratory and we've seen here there on
- 1:54:22Speaker 6: the track. I think last year where the dad was
- 1:54:26Speaker 6: with the fire high fire extinguisher got his daughter disqualified
- 1:54:33Speaker 6: in that race out in California. He was using the
- 1:54:36Speaker 6: fire extinguisher or brought a fire extinguisher just spray her shoe.
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: In this case up there.
- 1:54:42Speaker 6: In North Carolina, young man crossed and kind of did
- 1:54:45Speaker 6: a little almost kind of like a layup kind of action,
- 1:54:49Speaker 6: and they disqualified him in that situation. But that has
- 1:54:53Speaker 6: been overturned after all of the outrage of how it happened.
- 1:54:58Speaker 6: So it's one of those things.
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: It seems that.
- 1:55:03Speaker 6: If I want to go by the letter of the law,
- 1:55:07Speaker 6: there's a group of people who doesn't want to go by.
- 1:55:10Speaker 6: We can have a meeting, we can establish the five rules,
- 1:55:16Speaker 6: but then you want to make amendments to every rule as.
- 1:55:21Speaker 1: You choose, and based on a case by case base
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: case on case base. So is it no celebration in
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: victory at the end or what is it?
- 1:55:33Speaker 3: Because you voted for no celebration and then then when
- 1:55:39Speaker 3: I but all I did was when when I disqualified you,
- 1:55:43Speaker 3: you tried to explain to me that all I did
- 1:55:46Speaker 3: I wasn't I know, we ain't supposed to celebrate. But
- 1:55:49Speaker 3: the kind of celebration I did was and you want
- 1:55:52Speaker 3: me to just.
- 1:55:53Speaker 8: Supposed to act like you've crossed the finish line first before.
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: And no reaction. That's all I'm saying.
- 1:56:01Speaker 6: Either we're going right, So really we're not supposed to
- 1:56:06Speaker 6: reverse this. We need to go and next year change
- 1:56:09Speaker 6: the rule and then go forward.
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: And define what is.
- 1:56:17Speaker 8: What is a celebration is if that's allowed on what's successive?
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: Like you gotta.
- 1:56:22Speaker 3: Gotta be more specific, right, but you celebrate it because
- 1:56:29Speaker 3: it says no celebration if it's had no celebration, then yeah, okay, so.
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: Zero means zero.
- 1:56:38Speaker 6: For ex Alabama State players, we're paid, it seems, which
- 1:56:44Speaker 6: they definitely. I mean, I got a lot of Ocean candidates.
- 1:56:48Speaker 6: They are just simply for the amount. But they were
- 1:56:52Speaker 6: paid to fix a game back in twenty twenty four.
- 1:56:55Speaker 6: Amar Knox, Sean Fletcher, Corey Hind, Tony Madlock. It says
- 1:57:04Speaker 6: a total of two thousand dollars they were paid to
- 1:57:07Speaker 6: throw a game back in twenty twenty four. So you
- 1:57:10Speaker 6: can see why Ocean, you know, without a calculator, two
- 1:57:15Speaker 6: thousand divided by fours five hundred dollars apiece. Now why
- 1:57:19Speaker 6: you think five hundred dollars would move the needle to
- 1:57:24Speaker 6: get me to throw a game in a situation that
- 1:57:27Speaker 6: if I've been found out, which you were found out
- 1:57:31Speaker 6: by the alphabet people called the FBI, and with five
- 1:57:38Speaker 6: hundred dollars, that's kind of heavy for some people.
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: That's in college fiars. And you're gonna do that.
- 1:57:47Speaker 3: You're gonna do the alphabet time for five hundred You're
- 1:57:50Speaker 3: gonna get the alphabet penalty. They're not gonna be on
- 1:57:52Speaker 3: some all it was just five hundred dollars. No, they
- 1:57:55Speaker 3: gonna charge you for the conspiracy and the.
- 1:57:58Speaker 20: Fraud and all of that.
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: That's what you get in charge for. The amount will
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: be the last little bit of the charges.
- 1:58:05Speaker 8: It feels like the someone who went to went to
- 1:58:09Speaker 8: prison for five years for stealing a piece of bread
- 1:58:12Speaker 8: during the Great Depression.
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: I don't know you fixed the game. You can give me.
- 1:58:18Speaker 6: I couldn't get caught with alumni giving me five hundred
- 1:58:21Speaker 6: dollars in appreciation after winning a game or something or
- 1:58:26Speaker 6: even but I'm not going to throw this game for
- 1:58:30Speaker 6: five hundred dollars.
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: Period. Five dollars.
- 1:58:37Speaker 3: I want to know who was it that made the offer,
- 1:58:39Speaker 3: who set the deal and that and that was enough.
- 1:58:42Speaker 3: Who was the friend that said, hey man, I got
- 1:58:46Speaker 3: some deal man, we're gonna get fired. And that's hubris.
- 1:58:50Speaker 3: You just wanted to be a part of something and
- 1:58:52Speaker 3: feel like you were being slick. It didn't have anything
- 1:58:55Speaker 3: to do with need or desire or duress or anything
- 1:59:00Speaker 3: other than I just wanted to brag about having made
- 1:59:04Speaker 3: five hundred dollars for missing a block or something like that.
- 1:59:07Speaker 6: Thirty seven year old Brazilian woman charged after allegedly posing
- 1:59:12Speaker 6: as a twelve year old to be adopted. She explained
- 1:59:18Speaker 6: her older look. Amanda Olivier says that because she had
- 1:59:28Speaker 6: lived a hard life and her parents had given her hormones.
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: Is why she looked a little older than twelve.
- 1:59:42Speaker 6: But she got away with it for a couple of
- 1:59:44Speaker 6: months where she pretended to be twelve to get adopted
- 1:59:48Speaker 6: the adopted people. What was she doing snorting the hormones
- 1:59:52Speaker 6: because I'm looking at this woman and she looked like
- 1:59:54Speaker 6: she's straight taking.
- 1:59:55Speaker 3: She turned off of pain to get her hormones to
- 1:59:57Speaker 3: look that grown by twelve. Folks must have been feeding
- 2:00:01Speaker 3: her hormones for breakfast, and she got away with it
- 2:00:05Speaker 3: for a little while.
- 2:00:06Speaker 6: There's a Hulu series with this same situation. That's the
- 2:00:12Speaker 6: first time it's ever happened, and.
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: We all know the truth is he will throw your
- 2:00:20Speaker 1: in the ocean.
- 2:00:22Speaker 4: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Junk
- 2:00:25Speaker 4: Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 2:00:47Speaker 6: Here the sounds of ocean that gives a swetshot just
- 2:00:49Speaker 6: a minute to him. We'd like to thank you for
- 2:00:51Speaker 6: tuning in to today's show. I hope you have a
- 2:00:54Speaker 6: beautiful show. I hope you laughed a little bit, maybe
- 2:00:57Speaker 6: even learned a thing the two about the sports world.
- 2:01:00Speaker 6: Remember tonight eight thirty, Game three, Madison swear Garden, the Knicks,
- 2:01:07Speaker 6: the Spurs, Spurs being desperate.
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: Catch the action.
- 2:01:14Speaker 6: Who will be at the game? I'm quite sure there's
- 2:01:16Speaker 6: some kind of Vegas odds on that as well. Comand you,
- 2:01:20Speaker 6: Greg McKinney, Bapputucia, thank you for your contributions to today's show.
- 2:01:26Speaker 6: I had a couple of ocean as, I said the
- 2:01:29Speaker 6: thirty seven year old Brazilian lady. The lady in Minnesota
- 2:01:34Speaker 6: who blamed her doll for taking over the steering wheel
- 2:01:40Speaker 6: in her crash said she went to grab a tree
- 2:01:44Speaker 6: and the dog grabbed the steering wheel and contro row race, Shaggy, Hey, Scooby.
- 2:01:54Speaker 6: A lot of stuff out there. Man, I don't know
- 2:01:56Speaker 6: what's going on. Time We're gonna go down to Myrtle Beach, Florida.
- 2:02:02Speaker 6: Gotta Florida. Forty six year old Michael the Bassein Police Office.
- 2:02:16Speaker 6: And what made me do this is because there's a
- 2:02:18Speaker 6: current commercial for Imprint. We're in the commercial. One of
- 2:02:25Speaker 6: the workers in the rec room is about to warm
- 2:02:29Speaker 6: up some fish in the four Imprint commercial.
- 2:02:33Speaker 1: In the other two workers stop him, Hey, don't warm
- 2:02:37Speaker 1: that fish up in that microwave.
- 2:02:42Speaker 6: Well, Officer Michael down in Myrtle Beach had that same
- 2:02:46Speaker 6: feeling for one of his coworkers. Coworker went to put
- 2:02:50Speaker 6: some fish into the micaelwave and mister Michael pulled his
- 2:02:58Speaker 6: pistol on him in the police station. So the police
- 2:03:06Speaker 6: pull a gun on another police man in the rec
- 2:03:09Speaker 6: room for microwaving some fish they want to smell. He
- 2:03:17Speaker 6: has been relieved the duty in charge because you know
- 2:03:20Speaker 6: some cops around there. He's on film and all kinds
- 2:03:25Speaker 6: of stuff.
- 2:03:25Speaker 1: Man, you just got you got some sea witnesses.
- 2:03:31Speaker 3: I ain't judging because in the police I'm not judging
- 2:03:34Speaker 3: because we didn't all pulled the gun over but disagreement.
- 2:03:36Speaker 1: Am I right? Am I right?
- 2:03:42Speaker 12: Am I right? No?
- 2:03:43Speaker 6: I never pulled a gun period if we needed, especially
- 2:03:46Speaker 6: in the police station on another police officer.
- 2:03:48Speaker 1: Woman up from fishing and mic awave and me neither.
- 2:03:53Speaker 1: I thought they to turn the guns in when he's
- 2:03:56Speaker 1: going to building. So Mike didn't really want that fish
- 2:03:58Speaker 1: smail up in there.
- 2:03:59Speaker 18: He was.
- 2:04:01Speaker 1: He was triggered by that fish man.
- 2:04:02Speaker 6: It was Siri, you think I ain't playing today? I
- 2:04:05Speaker 6: got time a match now. But he ever got back
- 2:04:08Speaker 6: on it probably happened before. Well this time he's he's
- 2:04:14Speaker 6: on administrative leave and they have charged him for brandinging
- 2:04:21Speaker 6: his weapons and intimidation.
- 2:04:24Speaker 1: I think it was the charges with his weapon. He'll
- 2:04:27Speaker 1: never get back in a car that's never throw old
- 2:04:30Speaker 1: mic in the ocean, fucked up.
- 2:04:43Speaker 6: Have you ever warmed up fishing the microwave, babbagee. Have
- 2:04:47Speaker 6: you ever warmed up fishing a microwave?
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: Yes?
- 2:04:49Speaker 3: But at home, Big Kenny, I could crack in the
- 2:04:52Speaker 3: microwave one time. From the Sports Shock showy hope for
- 2:04:58Speaker 3: a good afternoon
