- 1:28Speaker 1: and it's hosted by Jonathan Scott, the Property Brother. It's

- 1:45Speaker 1: all while having fun doing it. Both Kelly Clarkson and

- 1:52Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie to you. That sounds extremely boring.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I feel like I can already picture it on the
- 1:58Speaker 1: TV in the waiting room of doctors. Yeah, it's gonna
- 2:01Speaker 1: be so borings, gonna be the number one viewer there.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Uh yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 1: So if this gets picked up, it won't be on
- 2:07Speaker 1: our televisions until fall of twenty or not. And we
- 2:10Speaker 1: did not mean to throw shiated Jonathan Scott or this.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I No, I love that, man. I just the idea.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Eh.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Sure, it's gonna be fantastic, just not for Zack, it seems.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Yep, not for me. It will not be on my
- 2:21Speaker 3: TV at all.
- 2:22Speaker 1: We have alcome to tickets coming up for the first callar.
- 2:25Speaker 4: We've had these all week.
- 2:26Speaker 6: Man.
- 2:27Speaker 1: People love Malcolm Todd. They've been going kind of crazy
- 2:29Speaker 1: for these. So if you want them within ten minutes,
- 2:31Speaker 1: we will ask you to call for those. He is
- 2:33Speaker 1: playing The Truth brand new venue.

- 3:18Speaker 3: We respect the nurses so much, like, thank.
- 3:20Speaker 4: You for what you do?
- 3:21Speaker 5: Yeah? Absolutely?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Is it hard to sorry? We're getting real now. Is
- 3:25Speaker 1: it hard to not take it home with you? Like
- 3:27Speaker 1: to leave the mental baggage behind?
- 3:29Speaker 6: It really just depends. Some days are a lot harder
- 3:32Speaker 6: than others. But I have really good coworkers, and we
- 3:36Speaker 6: are really good about debreathing when we have like a
- 3:38Speaker 6: rough day. And I have pretty healthy CosIng mechanisms now
- 3:42Speaker 6: that I've been doing it for a while, So at
- 3:44Speaker 6: first it was a lot harder.
- 3:45Speaker 3: But yeah, how many people have you seen dye?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Oh my god? No no no, no, no, no no no.
- 3:50Speaker 4: We don't need to talk with.
- 3:54Speaker 5: A lot.
- 3:55Speaker 6: Yeah, but I mean it comes with it. It comes
- 3:57Speaker 6: with the job.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Those are the wounds we don't need to reopen. Zach.
- 4:00Speaker 2: How many broken arms?
- 4:01Speaker 6: Oh that's a whole lot.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Well, I can break Zach's arms if you want to
- 4:07Speaker 1: end this line conversation real quick.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Hey, you are the first caller of the day today.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So you're getting these tickets to see Malcolm Todd.
- 4:14Speaker 7: Oh wonderful.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be a great show. He's gonna be
- 4:17Speaker 1: at the Truth of is a brand new venue and
- 4:19Speaker 1: you are going.
- 4:20Speaker 4: To be there.
- 4:20Speaker 6: Shannon, Thank you so much.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Go save some lives today.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Thank you for doing what you do, and thank you
- 4:26Speaker 1: for starting your day with us.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Yeah, thank you so much.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Hang on the line for me so we can get
- 4:31Speaker 2: some more information from you.
- 4:32Speaker 1: We've got more tomorrow. Your last chance to win your
- 4:34Speaker 1: way in this time tomorrow be here.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning, Zach.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask you the question that my kids asked
- 4:44Speaker 1: the four of us. My wife and I were sitting outside.
- 4:46Speaker 1: We were having some coffee. The kids were having croissants.
- 4:48Speaker 1: We're sitting out there, and they asked the question, are
- 4:50Speaker 1: you ready? I was born ready? Okay, just your initial answer,
- 4:54Speaker 1: what you would what you would say to this, Okay,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I'm scared.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Is it croissant? Bread?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's your answer you're going with, Yeah, Okay, that's
- 5:04Speaker 1: what not That's what I said to I was like, yeah, of.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Course it's bread.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And Ali was like, what, No, it's not so what
- 5:10Speaker 1: is it went down this hole. It's somewhere between bread
- 5:12Speaker 1: and a pastry. It's its own thing. It's not pastry,
- 5:15Speaker 1: not a bread apparently not what.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Are you saying to me?
- 5:19Speaker 1: Apparently that's what I'm saying. That's why I felt like
- 5:21Speaker 1: an idiot because we were I started looking into this,
- 5:24Speaker 1: we were googling it, going on Reddit threads and stuffing.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Now you make him my head hurt. People are very
- 5:29Speaker 1: passionate about the fact that croissant is not considered bread.
- 5:33Speaker 1: People feel like it has to be French. People would
- 5:35Speaker 1: murder you for saying that it's bread. Apparently, uh oh,
- 5:38Speaker 1: now you're googling. You're not trusting my googling.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I am, it says yes and no, a croissant is
- 5:44Speaker 2: technically a yeast leap leavened bread tough, but it's classified
- 5:48Speaker 2: as a.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Vanessa war which is between a bread and a pastry.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's not bread it is. It is not bread.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It's its own category. It's closer to a pacer.
- 5:58Speaker 3: That's insane to me.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Would you say a pastry is bread?
- 6:02Speaker 3: It depends on the pastry.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I am Honestly, I'm with you. Maybe
- 6:06Speaker 1: we're just dummies. We didn't go to culinary school or something.
- 6:08Speaker 1: But I would even say, like, like a doughnut is bread,
- 6:12Speaker 1: Like what's in a donut is breading?
- 6:14Speaker 3: It's bread. Yeah, it's all of the same things that
- 6:16Speaker 3: are in bread.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And I think we're yeast like I think they made
- 6:20Speaker 1: this up. I think you and I are wrong. We
- 6:22Speaker 1: just have to again.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I don't think that we're wrong.
- 6:26Speaker 4: I think we're wrong.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Literally flour, water, salt.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Sugar, and yeast, which is exactly what I put in
- 6:33Speaker 2: my breadmaker.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I would have thought so too.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Man, I'm sorry.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I'm so upset about this, you know. Oh thank god,
- 6:43Speaker 3: we finally.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Have a sunny morning. I'm so excited about it. Welcome
- 6:46Speaker 2: to Thursday on one O seven five of the River.
- 6:48Speaker 2: We appreciate you for being here. No break, no Ricky
- 6:50Speaker 2: sanchest today, But Kevin Mano has the three things that
- 6:53Speaker 2: you need to know.
- 6:54Speaker 4: She's been going so long you forgot her name.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, who uh, oh, don't say that we love Ricky.
- 6:59Speaker 4: I would you miss her? Yeah?
- 7:00Speaker 1: It is sunny, but man, it is gonna be warm, sunning.
- 7:03Speaker 1: In the nineties for a lot of the area he
- 7:05Speaker 1: did next of one to three. So some good news here.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Free splash pads are now open across Middle Tennessee. Take
- 7:12Speaker 1: the kids, get some relief, have some fun. Check in
- 7:15Speaker 1: with your local parks department before heading out. But spray
- 7:18Speaker 1: grounds and splash pads in Chatham County, Davidson County Dixon, Moray, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Wilson,
- 7:24Speaker 1: Williamson they're open now. Don't forget your towel and your sunscreen.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Go have fun.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Hey, there's a twenty four Jump Street in the works.
- 7:32Speaker 1: This is very cool. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are
- 7:34Speaker 1: both in talks to return to the franchise. I thought
- 7:36Speaker 1: twenty one and twenty two were both great. It's not
- 7:39Speaker 1: clear why they are seemingly skipping the number twenty three
- 7:42Speaker 1: twenty three. I don't know. It's very confusing. All these
- 7:45Speaker 1: stories are saying twenty four Jump Street, but regardless, it
- 7:48Speaker 1: looks like it's happening. Channing Tatum has talked before about
- 7:51Speaker 1: how he and Jonah would both like to do another one.
- 7:53Speaker 1: So here we go, and it sounds like ice Cube
- 7:55Speaker 1: will be back for it as well. This is this Heck, yeah,
- 7:58Speaker 1: what I'm excited about I like, I'm so excited. Lastly here,
- 8:01Speaker 1: Game four of the NBA Finals went down last night
- 8:04Speaker 1: in New York. Taylor Swift was there again. She was
- 8:07Speaker 1: sitting courtside next to Mariska Hargetate from Law and Order.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Taylor named one of her cats after her, So I
- 8:11Speaker 1: thought that was pretty cool to see them again.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I love that. Michael J.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Fox, Jerry Seinfeld, then Stiller. There were a bunch of
- 8:17Speaker 1: people out there. Anyway, back to the game, it was insane.
- 8:20Speaker 1: The Spurs were just straight up crushing the Knicks in
- 8:23Speaker 1: the first half. The fans in Madison Square Garden were
- 8:25Speaker 1: so quiet. But then the second half was a different story.
- 8:29Speaker 1: The greatest comeback in NBA Finals history. They came back
- 8:32Speaker 1: from a twenty nine point deficit to win by one.
- 8:35Speaker 1: It was insane down to the final seconds. They now lead.
- 8:39Speaker 1: The Knicks lead the series three games to one. They
- 8:42Speaker 1: travel to Texas for Game five. The Spurs need to
- 8:45Speaker 1: win it to stay alive. They'll they'll be home, so
- 8:47Speaker 1: we'll see what I'm not gonna like.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Kevin text to me last night about the game, and
- 8:51Speaker 2: I was like, oh, it's about to be two to two. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:54Speaker 2: and then it swapped very quickly.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Very quick.
- 8:57Speaker 1: It was really it was a crazy game to watch it.
- 9:00Speaker 1: There you go, three things you now know Yours, Tame
- 9:02Speaker 1: and Paula Dracula. As we get back into the music
- 9:05Speaker 1: we were learning after the song, zaxx Fax.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Next other river class is in sessions zax facts brought
- 9:13Speaker 5: to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 9:17Speaker 2: If you were to take a guess, how long do
- 9:19Speaker 2: you think the dotted lines on the road are?
- 9:21Speaker 4: What does that mean?
- 9:22Speaker 5: Like?
- 9:22Speaker 1: How long is one like a white dotted line?
- 9:26Speaker 4: Oh?
- 9:28Speaker 1: Two feet?
- 9:29Speaker 3: No, apparently they are ten feet long.
- 9:32Speaker 4: That's not true.
- 9:33Speaker 3: No, it actually is true.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Look it up. I literally looked it up. Also, their
- 9:37Speaker 1: spaced apart by thirty feet.
- 9:39Speaker 2: It seems like they're so close and so short, but
- 9:42Speaker 2: they're actually ten feet long.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I have to I feel like I'm putting a big
- 9:45Speaker 1: old asterisk next to this fact.
- 9:47Speaker 3: What there's no way factual information? Kevin.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that one is hard for me to believe, but
- 9:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna take it.
- 9:54Speaker 3: And there's your fact of the day, right, welcome.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Thank you, Zach, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the mor.
- 10:01Speaker 1: The river. It's going to be a hot one, ladies,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it's one oh seven five the river. Zach
- 10:07Speaker 1: and I have been discussing like popsicles and frozen treats
- 10:10Speaker 1: that we would we would get from the ice cream
- 10:12Speaker 1: and when we were children.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I was always like the ice cream sandwich. Give it
- 10:16Speaker 2: to me right now.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That was your thing, That was your thing. What was
- 10:19Speaker 1: your go to treat? Six one five, seven, three seven, nine,
- 10:21Speaker 1: one oh seven. You're a little kid, it's a hot day.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Hear that ice cream truck music? What was always your
- 10:27Speaker 1: go to treat on a hot day? I feel like
- 10:30Speaker 1: the ice cream truck just isn't around anymore, I know,
- 10:32Speaker 1: and it makes me sad. Six one five, seven, three
- 10:35Speaker 1: seven nine one seven your go to.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Treat on a hot day?
- 10:38Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Emila and Lewisbourg is on the line.
- 10:45Speaker 1: We're talking about our favorite frozen treats on a hot day,
- 10:48Speaker 1: maybe when we were kids.
- 10:49Speaker 4: What was it for you, Camille?
- 10:51Speaker 3: Okay?
- 10:51Speaker 7: Growing up? Do you remember the Sailor Moon large bubblegum
- 10:55Speaker 7: jewel ice cream pop?
- 10:56Speaker 4: Yes, ma'am, Zach very much does.
- 10:59Speaker 7: I Oh my god, yeah, that was my favorite and
- 11:02Speaker 7: my neighborhood does still have an ice tream truck.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Oh, I feel like it's a good business model. You
- 11:08Speaker 1: just I mean, you guys have one, but I don't
- 11:10Speaker 1: see them that often.
- 11:11Speaker 7: Yeah, we have one that comes to our neighborhood. They
- 11:13Speaker 7: do not have you know, the nineties Ice team obviously,
- 11:16Speaker 7: but they do have a SpongeBob one that's kind of similar.
- 11:20Speaker 3: But I love a SpongeBob one.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Too, That's what I was going to say.
- 11:23Speaker 1: That was always my go to anything that was like
- 11:24Speaker 1: a character like Marvin the Martian and it had bubble
- 11:27Speaker 1: gum eyes and they never really looked like once you
- 11:29Speaker 1: open the package. It was pretty upsetting that it didn't
- 11:31Speaker 1: want anything I was supposed to, But that was always
- 11:33Speaker 1: what I would get.
- 11:34Speaker 7: A snoopy one that was also a classic.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Okay, this is good. I looked up the Sailor Moon
- 11:39Speaker 1: thing and it's right there along those same lines.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Thank you, Camille, Yeah, thank you, love you by doll
- 11:44Speaker 2: Bye deck.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Do you remember push ups? I think they were called
- 11:47Speaker 1: the ones that were essentially in a toilet paper.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I loved the push up, especially the flint Sun ones.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Oh.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I feel like they were always like Sherbert flavored.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Am I wrong about that?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Or like forget we're not always okay, but yeah, they
- 12:01Speaker 1: were definitely fruity.
- 12:02Speaker 3: But the flint sound push ups were always my favorite.
- 12:05Speaker 4: And am I insane?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Or was that a toilet paper tube?
- 12:08Speaker 2: It definitely was it really without a doubt, like we
- 12:11Speaker 2: were eating ice cream out of a toilet paper tube.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 1: The one I always hated was freeze pops, the plastic things.
- 12:19Speaker 1: They would cut the side of your mouth. Oh my lord,
- 12:22Speaker 1: I was never would but they tasted so good. The
- 12:24Speaker 1: grape one always my favorite. No, I couldn't handle any
- 12:28Speaker 1: of them because of the mouth butting.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Kevin, do you remember the drumstick vanilla ice cream cone.
- 12:33Speaker 4: We were a big drumstick family. We always had him
- 12:35Speaker 4: in the freezer.
- 12:35Speaker 3: So yeah, I love a drumstick to this day.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Like you can walk through Walmart and be like, let
- 12:40Speaker 2: me grab it, drum Yeah, drums and you're good to go.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Are one of the best desserts ever.
- 12:43Speaker 5: Made with Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning
- 12:47Speaker 5: on the river morning.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Thank you for starting your Thursday with us. It is
- 12:51Speaker 1: gonna be hot, so Zach and I have been talking
- 12:53Speaker 1: about frozen treats on a hot day.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Nothing better.
- 12:56Speaker 1: What was your go to when you'd hear that that
- 12:59Speaker 1: ice cream man when you were a kid. Christina and
- 13:01Speaker 1: Lebanon is on the line.
- 13:02Speaker 4: What was yours snow cone?
- 13:04Speaker 6: Every time we get a snow cone?
- 13:07Speaker 7: Or it was a toss up between.
- 13:08Speaker 6: That and like a like a slurpy icy from like
- 13:11Speaker 6: seven eleven?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yes, ma'am.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Okay, Christina, have you seen the recent snow cone machines
- 13:15Speaker 2: that they have that you can literally just walk through
- 13:17Speaker 2: and pick your own flavor, Like it's a truck and
- 13:20Speaker 2: you can the ConA Ice truck.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Yeah, the ConA Ice truck.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah, I've seen those.
- 13:25Speaker 1: They're so good that will go to like school sometimes
- 13:29Speaker 1: or like a big birthday party or something.
- 13:30Speaker 4: People got co ConA Ice truck.
- 13:32Speaker 3: That sounds great.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Well, thank you for calling you're you're a snow cone gal.
- 13:35Speaker 1: We appreciate you weighing in here.
- 13:37Speaker 7: You better have a good one.
- 13:40Speaker 5: Cool.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Oh we got to use stay cool is cool?
- 13:45Speaker 4: Bye bye.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Kevin in Nashville is on the line. Kevin, what was
- 13:49Speaker 1: your go to Bomb Pop? Those are the ones that
- 13:53Speaker 1: are like, yeah, they're like red white and blue.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Red white, and I did love a bomb Pop.
- 13:59Speaker 2: I will say there's this company called Liquid IV that
- 14:02Speaker 2: they make a bomb pop flavor electrolyte. They do, they do,

- 15:18Speaker 1: Who released an album called Starboy in November of twenty sixteen. Oh,

- 15:32Speaker 1: In September of twenty sixteen, Ted Danson and Kristen Bell
- 15:37Speaker 1: start together in what new TV show.
- 15:43Speaker 4: Premiered in twenty sixteen. It is a big show.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Oh, I'm nervous. It's okay. If she doesn't get this
- 15:52Speaker 3: good Something.
- 15:53Speaker 4: The good Something? What is your final play?
- 15:55Speaker 1: The good place is your final answer? And that's correct.
- 15:58Speaker 1: We're gonna quell.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Wow, that was impressive.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It worked it out VIP for Miles Smith and the
- 16:07Speaker 1: calling River on the Rooftop.
- 16:09Speaker 3: We will see you there, perfect, Thank you so much.
- 16:12Speaker 1: We do have more tomorrow.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Your last chance of the week to get these VIP passes.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Are you gonna streuss me out again?
- 16:18Speaker 4: I am gonna stress you out again.
- 16:19Speaker 1: That gets is a physical reaction with these gets so
- 16:23Speaker 1: worked out.
- 16:23Speaker 4: I love it though I live for Oh.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I hate it. I get so worked out.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Three things you need to know just after.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Eight o'clock on this Thursday morning. Thank you so much
- 16:32Speaker 2: for joining. I guess we appreciate you. Not Ricky Sanchez today,
- 16:35Speaker 2: but Kevin Mano has the three things that you need
- 16:37Speaker 2: to know.
- 16:38Speaker 4: I do thank you.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Zak COR's Light as a new product out there for
- 16:41Speaker 1: the summer, saw this and I wanted to mention it.
- 16:43Speaker 1: They call it a Taller Boy coozy. It's a regular
- 16:46Speaker 1: stainless steel coozy, but it's eighteen inches long. It can
- 16:50Speaker 1: fit three cans of COR's Light inside, like stacked on
- 16:54Speaker 1: top of each other, thirty six ounces of beer. It's
- 16:57Speaker 1: a foot and a half long. That's a lot. It's
- 16:59Speaker 1: bigger than a Stanley. I mean it's it's enormous. That's insane.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I want one.
- 17:04Speaker 1: In music news, Blinklinity two have been teasing something related
- 17:07Speaker 1: to the twenty fifth anniversary of their Take Off Your
- 17:10Speaker 1: Pants album. That's not the full title, but that's what
- 17:12Speaker 1: I'm comfortable saying. And now they took the marketing a
- 17:16Speaker 1: step further by reviving their MySpace page. Oh, MySpace dot
- 17:21Speaker 1: com slash Blinklinity two is up and run and it's
- 17:24Speaker 1: alive and well it was poking around on it just
- 17:26Speaker 1: a bit ago. I didn't know that MySpace still work.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I don't know how they did. I didn't either, honestly,
- 17:30Speaker 1: I thought these were all dead. It's not clear what
- 17:33Speaker 1: all of this is. Building toured, a deluxe edition of
- 17:36Speaker 1: the album or a tour, we don't know. Tomorrow is
- 17:39Speaker 1: technically the anniversary, so we will see what they have planned.
- 17:41Speaker 1: But spend some time on their MySpace page for a
- 17:44Speaker 1: walk down memory lane might as well. Lastly, is it
- 17:47Speaker 1: too early to talk about the holidays?
- 17:50Speaker 3: No?
- 17:50Speaker 1: Never, it probably is. It's no, it's June, it's one
- 17:53Speaker 1: hundred degrees outside. Lady A just announced the holiday show
- 17:57Speaker 1: at the Ryeman. They just announced their Winter Night tour
- 18:00Speaker 1: twenty twenty six, and it actually includes two shows at
- 18:03Speaker 1: the Ryme and both are happening December twenty First, it
- 18:05Speaker 1: was an early show and a late show. If you
- 18:08Speaker 1: want to go again, might be weird to think about
- 18:10Speaker 1: the holidays. But you have to get these tickets before
- 18:11Speaker 1: they're all gone.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Oh my god, I want to go so bad.
- 18:14Speaker 4: They go and sale tomorrow ten am.
- 18:16Speaker 1: If you want to see Lady A singing some Christmas
- 18:18Speaker 1: songs at the rhyme and there you go. Three things
- 18:20Speaker 1: you now know.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 18:24Speaker 1: On the river. Ricky has been out this week because
- 18:28Speaker 1: she officially got married.
- 18:30Speaker 2: She's a married woman, she's a missus, she's a wife. Yeah, weird,
- 18:34Speaker 2: kind of crazy. But Zach and I we have a
- 18:35Speaker 2: question for you.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Because they Elope, they went to Puerto Rico and they eloped,
- 18:39Speaker 1: so no big wedding, we were invited.
- 18:42Speaker 4: When do we give them a gift?
- 18:44Speaker 3: The answer in my mind is never.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Zach genuinely does not want to give them a gift. No,
- 18:48Speaker 1: I don't want to because there was no wedding.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I was not also invited.
- 18:52Speaker 1: But it's our friend starting this new chapter of her life.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I feel compelled to give her something. No, good for you,
- 18:58Speaker 1: you decided to do that, not my f six seven
- 19:01Speaker 1: three seven, nine one oh seven. If they Elope, if
- 19:04Speaker 1: there's not a wedding, if there's not a big party,
- 19:06Speaker 1: When do you actually give them the gift?
- 19:08Speaker 7: Never?
- 19:10Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It's the river. Ricky got married this week. Her and
- 19:18Speaker 1: her uh now husband aj eloped in Puerto Rico. Zach
- 19:21Speaker 1: and I are asking the question, when do we give
- 19:23Speaker 1: them a gift? Even though Zach doesn't want to get
- 19:25Speaker 1: them anything.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I still think never.
- 19:27Speaker 1: When do you if they Elope, when do you give
- 19:29Speaker 1: them the gift? Janine and Mount Juliet is on the line,
- 19:31Speaker 1: what do you think, mas sir? Elope?
- 19:34Speaker 3: And we just gave her her stuff whenever she got back.
- 19:37Speaker 3: But what did you get her?
- 19:39Speaker 7: She wanted gift cards.
- 19:41Speaker 6: They already had a house.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Warming party and they didn't need nothing for.
- 19:45Speaker 6: The house, So we just got her gift card.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Yeah, because Ricky doesn't have a registry.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Usually it'd be so much easier, just like, let me
- 19:51Speaker 2: scroll through Amazon, add to carts, send it to her house.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Easy. So I'm like, what do we get her?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Ricky's tough too, because like a part of me just
- 19:58Speaker 1: wants to give her cash, but then another part of
- 20:01Speaker 1: me knows that she would immediately just turn and start
- 20:03Speaker 1: doing some online shopping for things that she doesn't.
- 20:05Speaker 4: She would absolutely.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I want the money to go to like her future
- 20:07Speaker 1: with AJ. That's a tough one because most people.
- 20:09Speaker 7: Want like honeymoon money. But if they eloped, then they're
- 20:12Speaker 7: already off doing their things.
- 20:14Speaker 3: They're already on their honeymoon right now as we speak.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Yeah, working on little baby Ricky.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Oh my god, No, they're not. Kevin, be quiet, don't
- 20:22Speaker 3: ever say that again. I don't know.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I guess yeah, maybe, I guess we just give her
- 20:25Speaker 1: something when she gets back next week. It just feels
- 20:27Speaker 1: sort of like wanh wanh wah.
- 20:28Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 20:29Speaker 1: But thank you for calling. We appreciate you so much.
- 20:31Speaker 5: All right, thank you.
- 20:32Speaker 3: What do you want to get them?
- 20:34Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Money honestly, it's what I said. Money is the only
- 20:37Speaker 1: thing I can think to give them. But I know
- 20:38Speaker 1: that Ricky will waste it. She definitely will. But are
- 20:41Speaker 1: you just being class exact the contrarian or do you
- 20:45Speaker 1: really think that you don't need to get them a gift?
- 20:48Speaker 7: No?
- 20:48Speaker 1: I legit feel because you decided that you were going
- 20:51Speaker 1: to go get married in a different country.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Not if anybody not have a party, why.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Would I get you get that is a life decision
- 20:58Speaker 2: that you decided to make for you.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But that's what happens in the society. We give our
- 21:03Speaker 1: friends gifts when they get married.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Okay, so what about other life events.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's not the same at all.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yes, it is.
- 21:10Speaker 1: If Ricky bought a new car, I'm not giving her
- 21:12Speaker 1: a gift. That's not a thing that bad president life.
- 21:14Speaker 1: There's no precedent for that.
- 21:15Speaker 3: That's not how apparently you should buy her a tank.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Of guests, Zack.
- 21:19Speaker 3: This is getting your recording to you.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Maybe I will get.
- 21:22Speaker 2: It's a life event that you decided to do. I
- 21:24Speaker 2: did not ask you to go get married.
- 21:26Speaker 1: This is not the intended point you were trying to make.
- 21:28Speaker 1: But I think maybe like a gas gift card is
- 21:31Speaker 1: a really good idea.
- 21:32Speaker 2: I hate to hear Greek Keavin, but I think it's
- 21:34Speaker 2: a really good idea.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Because Ricky always drives on.
- 21:38Speaker 2: E she does, I'm not always on empty, So this
- 21:40Speaker 2: is such a good idea.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Gas is so expensive right now, I think that this
- 21:44Speaker 1: would alleviate some stress. So unfortunately, I approve it doesn't
- 21:49Speaker 1: sound very.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Like wedding is sure?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I don't know right now. In
- 21:56Speaker 1: twenty twenty six, is not a bad idea.
- 21:58Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and I know in the morning, I'm.
- 22:03Speaker 1: For the daily double Tap. It's one O seven to
- 22:05Speaker 1: five the River. Just in case some people out there
- 22:08Speaker 1: don't know what gleeking is, Zach, can you explain it's.
- 22:12Speaker 3: A very odd thing that people do.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Number one, But it's basically, yeah, it's pretty gross.
- 22:18Speaker 3: It's basically like spitting a little bit.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Like it is, like, I don't know how else to
- 22:24Speaker 2: explain it, Like you're you use your tongue to like
- 22:27Speaker 2: spit out a little bit of saliva.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It's like turning your mounth into like a fountain. Yeah,
- 22:31Speaker 1: it's just like it's burying out like a water gun.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Kids in high school used to do it all the time.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Even back then, I thought it was disgusting, like like, yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 1: I was sort of jealous that I couldn't do it,
- 22:40Speaker 1: but it was still it was gross.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Oh that was my party trick in high school, Like
- 22:45Speaker 2: I would gleek on everything.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Disgusting Anyway, that's it's the topic of today's Daily double Tap.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Here we go. Being cool as a kid was so easy.
- 22:52Speaker 3: You just needed to know how to gleek. Remember the
- 22:54Speaker 3: kids who knew how to gleek so rad. Being cool
- 22:57Speaker 3: as an adult is tough. You have to own a
- 22:58Speaker 3: boat or something.
- 23:00Speaker 4: So you don't own a boat's acual, you're no longer cool.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Honestly, I feel like I'm winning as an adult because
- 23:04Speaker 2: the best thing is to have friends with boats. Okay, yeah, wait,
- 23:08Speaker 2: I don't have to take care of it.
- 23:09Speaker 3: I don't have to pay for the gas. I just
- 23:11Speaker 3: go sit on the boat and we're good to go.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Just sit on the boat and gleek.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Can you try? Can't you try to do.
- 23:16Speaker 1: It real quick?
- 23:17Speaker 4: I just want to see you do it in real life.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I don't know if I can anymore.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Try to not this direction. Do it in the carpet
- 23:22Speaker 1: or something on the carpet better than here on all
- 23:25Speaker 1: the equipment.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Hold on, let me try. No, I can't do it anymore.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Keep trying, keep trying.
- 23:35Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the river,
