  And when we do that, we don't realize that sometimes people can get offended.

  People feel like they're left out. People feel as if they're not trusted with

  the information. But that's not the case sometimes.

  Sometimes we need a few moments to gather our opinions, our thoughts, our understandings.

  And sometimes we need to cry a little, hurt a little, before we can share it out to others.

  Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin.

  So that verse came to me on a daily verse.
• 2:18
  It's the verse of the day yesterday and it was ironic because as i stated in the beginning,
• 2:26
  yesterday was a very very powerful day for a lot of us particularly on my side
• 2:32
  of the family because an announcement was made and i got some feedback some
• 2:38
  from family some from friends,
• 2:41
  and some from very close friends and some of them felt as if i should have,
• 2:48
  trusted or been able to tell them everything that's been going on rather than
• 2:54
  have them hear it on the podcast.
• 2:56
  And you know, I get it. I totally understand.
• 3:01
  But what I think people need to know is it's nothing personal.
• 3:06
  When we hear news, any of us hear news, some of us will gravitate to what makes
• 3:14
  them feel comfort and get into a comfort zone.
• 3:19
  And even though we have people in our lives that we can relate with, share news with,
• 3:26
  sometimes individually, we need to crawl into like a makeshift hole,
• 3:32
  so to speak. For me, it's a spiritual hole.
• 3:37
  It's a spiritual digest the news and if you don't know what i'm talking about
• 3:47
  go to yesterday's episode,
• 3:50
  And for me, spiritually, I wasn't upset, but I think as a guy and as a father,
• 3:57
  you hurt because you don't want, you don't know enough to know if it came from
• 4:02
  you, if it was a decision that was made, was it a medication,
• 4:06
  was it just all those things will run through your mind.
• 4:09
  But by now, seven years going on eight in June, you guys know me.
• 4:15
  You know that I have had, in the past, suffered with depression.
• 4:21
  I have gone on and had therapy. I've had a therapist and I've had,
• 4:27
  you know, someone that I can call on and talk to.
• 4:30
  But when Half Faith Let It Begin took over, it became my therapy.
• 4:34
  It became my hobby. It became my life. It became the work that I know the Lord wants me to do.
• 4:40
  And that's share with all of you the personal testimonies.
• 4:44
  But in this situation, I had to wait on it and I had to think about it and I
• 4:48
  had to talk with my wife about it.
• 4:49
  I couldn't just go out and do, you know, and talk to everyone about it.
• 4:53
  And personally, I didn't think it was something that I wanted to share right
• 4:56
  off the bat and right off the gate because I wanted second opinions and I wanted,
• 4:59
  I wanted to just really understand more about what it was because I don't want
• 5:04
  to be that guy that thinks he knows it all before he even researches it.
• 5:08
  When I got to that point where I realized that everything was what I needed
• 5:11
  it to be and I felt good and I felt comfortable enough.
• 5:14
  That's why I strategically waited till yesterday to announce it.
• 5:19
  And I was not trying to offend or hurt anyone in my inner circle because this
• 5:29
  is something that Angel had to do.
• 5:31
  And at the end of the day, it's not about me. It's not about you.
• 5:35
  It's about the child it's about my thoughts our thoughts as a family and god and the child.
• 5:45
  So I wanted to share that with all of you because I know that all of us deal with this.
• 5:50
  All of us have at one point kept something in our minds and our thoughts, in our hearts.
• 5:55
  And when we eventually shared it with others, there's always some or few that
• 6:01
  will feel or be offended because you didn't reach out to them first or second or whatever.
• 6:09
  And it's not to say that they're wrong. I get it from their point of view and
• 6:13
  their perspective. totally understand.
• 6:16
  But you have to understand that everybody is different and not everybody thinks the same way you do.
• 6:22
  And everybody handles things, news, whether they consider it to be mild, medium or tragic.
• 6:30
  Everybody deals with it differently. So maybe I could have done things a little more different.
• 6:35
  Maybe I could have shared it better with other people that I know could make me feel better.
• 6:40
  But sometimes, you know, words don't help me personally.
• 6:44
  Sometimes what helps me is being in my spiritual world and allowing the heavenly
• 6:49
  father to speak to me internally.
• 6:52
  So I want all of you to just take that in.
• 6:55
  And for those of you that I know are listening and are thinking,
• 6:59
  well, he's definitely talking about me today.
• 7:01
  It's not a shot. It's not a retaliation. It's not to make you feel bad.
• 7:06
  It's to try to put you in a better perspective as to where my mindset has been
• 7:09
  for the last month as I take a sip of coffee.
• 7:13
  So I just wanted to share that with all of you and let you know that I love
• 7:17
  you all and that being offended makes me just realize even more how much you care.
• 7:24
  And I love you guys and I love every single part of Have Faith Let It Begin
• 7:28
  and I wouldn't change anything for the world.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for everything you continue to give us.

  We lift up in prayer all of our family and friends and loved ones who show us faith,
• 7:42
  courage, and confidence, and those that do everything in their power to be helpful
• 7:46
  with all of our guidance and our wisdoms and our choices.
• 7:52
  We lift you up today, and we thank you, Lord, for continuing to keep us in your
• 7:58
  thoughts and to allow us to know that those that are not sure of their faith and are battling,
• 8:03
  we continue to just ask you to watch and
• 8:06
  listen maybe one day or one episode or
• 8:09
  one one moment you'll have that moment with God and
• 8:12
  you'll be able to say wow I love my heavenly father I love
• 8:15
  Jesus Christ and I know that he is with me because he believes in me he trusts
• 8:20
  in me and he's never going to leave my side for all of us here I have faith
• 8:24
  that it begin may God be with you may he shine his light upon you and grant
• 8:28
  each and every single one of you peace on earth and never forget Have faith,
