- 1:08Speaker 1: Also, that's my preferred soda can popular among the East
- 1:12Speaker 1: coast consumers West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Maine. This

- 1:19Speaker 1: The birthplace Knoxville, Tennessee, fourth place, Pepsi fourth place, controversial
- 1:27Speaker 1: pick for Coca Cola fans. Nevertheless, it's the drink of
- 1:31Speaker 1: choice for East Coast consumers in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Connecticut,
- 1:35Speaker 1: and Rhode Island.
- 1:36Speaker 3: The fact that Pepsi's above Mountain dew surprises me.

- 2:08Speaker 1: as their go to soda.
- 2:09Speaker 4: If if I'm at a restaurant and I order a
- 2:11Speaker 4: diet coke and they say is diet Pepsi? Okay, I
- 2:14Speaker 4: say how about Doctor Pepper? Like I would rather have
- 2:16Speaker 4: a Doctor Pepper.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Than well, Midwest Oklahoma, where my wife was from briefly,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and that's where her love of doctor Pepper, I think
- 2:26Speaker 1: came from. Kansas, Nebraska, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, West Virginia, Idaho,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and Alaska. First place Coke Cola fourteen states, primarily in
- 2:40Speaker 1: the south and midwest. Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, Florida,
- 2:46Speaker 1: North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, and Nevada.
- 2:51Speaker 4: If I'm sick, I want I want a full strength coke. Yeah, Like,
- 2:56Speaker 4: if I have a sick tummy, that's what sounds good
- 2:58Speaker 4: to me.
- 2:58Speaker 3: That'll heal you.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. Canada Dry is lower on the list. Popular
- 3:05Speaker 1: in Massachusetts and Vermont. Kool Aid.
- 3:10Speaker 3: We were a big kool Aid family growing up. Really
- 3:12Speaker 3: oh yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Popular in North Dakota and South Dakota.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Again the South, like we got the southern.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Iowa loves an W root beer.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Now, wasn't that started here? Google it?
- 3:25Speaker 5: Oh?
- 3:26Speaker 3: Now we're breaking the rule.
- 3:28Speaker 4: I think A and W root beer originated in Utah,
- 3:32Speaker 4: A and w Where start?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Where start? Good job? Seven up number one in Minnesota.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Sprites better than seven up.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I would prefer seven up overs.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Really yeah, it's not as sweet?
- 3:46Speaker 4: Is that?
- 3:46Speaker 1: Why could be?
- 3:48Speaker 3: Lodi, California, Oh is where that started?
- 3:52Speaker 1: Arizona iced tea is very popular in Washington now Arizona
- 3:57Speaker 1: iced tea. It's interesting because I keep seeing interviews from
- 4:00Speaker 1: the guy who owns it. He says, you haven't. They
- 4:03Speaker 1: say you haven't raised your prices, like ever, what's the deal?
- 4:08Speaker 1: And he said, we're making enough money.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Wow, I mean it's so anti corporate, you know, he says.
- 4:14Speaker 1: He says, we're making enough money. We're paying the bills.
- 4:17Speaker 2: That's unusual.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Lipton iced tea people love New Hampshire. In New
- 4:24Speaker 1: Hampshire love Lipton iced tea. And then we're starting to
- 4:28Speaker 1: get into juices now, Ocean Spray, Minute made Tropicana.
- 4:33Speaker 3: I'm surprised sparkling waters aren't on that list at all.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That counts.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I guess it's soda water.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 5: I feel like I've seen way more Lacroix in the
- 4:43Speaker 5: last five years than any other period of my life.
- 4:45Speaker 5: I think people are trying to get off the soda train.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Indiana loves orange crush.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I do love an orange crush. Good orange.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Now I kind of made a mistake. Uh oh, I
- 5:00Speaker 1: was the one person who really loved the coke with
- 5:04Speaker 1: coffee that they put out.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Oh, they were like the little thin can, right.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yeah, a little thin can. Katie liked it.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Okay, is it like an energy drink?
- 5:13Speaker 1: It's just coke. It's just coke with coffee.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Oh, that's all it was.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And so Sue said, why don't we have a coke
- 5:20Speaker 1: coke with coffee, except let's use doctor pepper hmm. And
- 5:25Speaker 1: so I did that and I tasted it at home. Yeah,
- 5:28Speaker 1: I made it at home. Didn't quite taste right, what
- 5:30Speaker 1: dripped coffee or yeah, just you know, left over coffee.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Didn't quite taste right. So I thought maybe if I
- 5:36Speaker 1: put a little half and half in there, that might help.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Kerry, you know that's what the dirty sodas are.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it didn't help. Oh yeah, so I gotta
- 5:45Speaker 1: buy I gotta find a place that still. I don't
- 5:47Speaker 1: know if they still make the coke with coffee. They don't.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Katie says, no, you were the only one that bought it.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Apparently I was the only one that bought it.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Oh, you're burgeoning into content that we could post online
- 5:59Speaker 5: if you make it and just the most ridiculous sodas.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Well, let me give one to you. Yeah you ready,
- 6:05Speaker 1: I dare you to try this? Sure you have red
- 6:08Speaker 1: wine at home?
- 6:10Speaker 3: Yeah? I do.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Half coke half red wine.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Oh I've heard that. Yeah, that's a great combo.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Cocoo.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds really weird.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I've heard you talk about this before, but I've never
- 6:21Speaker 4: tried it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: It sounds weird, but it is delicious.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Coke also pairs well with tequila, but you don't mix it.
- 6:27Speaker 5: You use coke as the chaser. Ah okay, yeah, it's
- 6:31Speaker 5: like a perfect chaser.
- 6:33Speaker 2: So with the coco veno is it? It's just straight
- 6:36Speaker 2: half and half half.
- 6:37Speaker 1: And half over ice. Hmm. You'll thank me.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You've talked about it before and I haven't dared.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You'll try It'll go Wow, where has this been all
- 6:47Speaker 1: my life?
- 6:49Speaker 3: Let's see the hell of a drink to get like wasted?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Yeah right, your body doesn't know what to do, uh, Gina.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I think the reason you enjoy coke when you feel
- 6:58Speaker 1: nauseous is that it hasn't adicinal effect. When I was
- 7:01Speaker 1: sick as a child, my doctor would prescribe us to
- 7:03Speaker 1: coke syrup to help with nausea. Would either chase your
- 7:07Speaker 1: nausea away or make you throw up, and then you're
- 7:11Speaker 1: gonna feel better one way or another.
- 7:13Speaker 5: I get terrible seasonal allergies and I love like a
- 7:16Speaker 5: real strength coke yea to the bubbles alleviate the throat.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm just sad that squirt wasn't on the list because
- 7:24Speaker 1: I love squirt or bug.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Mug is my favorite.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yeah, and what do you what do you mix squirt with?
- 7:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good mix.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Uh yeah, and what was the what was the doctor
- 7:39Speaker 1: Pepper ripoff?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Doctor?
- 7:43Speaker 4: Okay, we're not We're not gonna go.
- 7:48Speaker 1: No, okay, because it's at the forefront of it's mister

- 7:57Speaker 2: We got there.
