- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KF I
- 0:04Speaker 1: am six forty.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Everybody am six forty. Go handle here and a good morning.
- 0:12Speaker 2: On a July second tomorrow. I will not be here,
- 0:16Speaker 2: Neil will and everybody else. I'm the only one that's
- 0:18Speaker 2: taking off. It's a food chain issue, so I don't
- 0:21Speaker 2: have a problem. Some of the big stories. We're looking at,
- 0:23Speaker 2: huge heat waves going on on the East coast, really
- 0:26Speaker 2: dangerous ones. Stock market. The Dow is up four hundred
- 0:29Speaker 2: and fifty semi points, so it's defying gravity. And if
- 0:33Speaker 2: you just hold off is I think it's over what
- 0:35Speaker 2: fifty two thousand, almost fifty three thousand, and if you
- 0:38Speaker 2: wait a week, it'll be a quarter of a million
- 0:40Speaker 2: points by next week. It I mean, none of this
- 0:45Speaker 2: makes any sense. Okay, A quick story about Eminem and
- 0:49Speaker 2: Neil's talk about this before eighty five years in August,
- 0:54Speaker 2: and where's Eminem such a big story because Robert F.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Kennedy and his MAHA campaign has told Eminems and other
- 1:03Speaker 2: companies stop using artificial dyes, stop using artificial colors. So
- 1:09Speaker 2: Eminem jumping aboard now to give you an idea of
- 1:12Speaker 2: how big Eminem is. Before we get into the blue. Well,
- 1:16Speaker 2: how difficult it is to create blue. This is a company. Actually,
- 1:21Speaker 2: Eminems were created during World War Two, nineteen forty one
- 1:26Speaker 2: to give the soldiers a chocolate candy that wouldn't melt.
- 1:31Speaker 2: And that's what it was about. And then about ten
- 1:35Speaker 2: years later, give or take, it entered the consumer market,
- 1:39Speaker 2: and now you know Eminem's and about what they're about.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I'm not crazy about M and ms, by the way,
- 1:46Speaker 2: I'm because I'm much more of a Skittles guy. I'll
- 1:48Speaker 2: tell you that right now. I like peanut m and ms,
- 1:51Speaker 2: but I don't like regular Eminems. Just doesn't work for me,
- 1:57Speaker 2: but it certainly does, it really does for a lot
- 2:00Speaker 2: of people. But when you have these various colors, then
- 2:04Speaker 2: they used artificial dyes and colors like crazy before. What
- 2:07Speaker 2: they couldn't get is blue. And everybody wants blue, and
- 2:13Speaker 2: why couldn't they get blue?
- 2:14Speaker 3: Neil, Well, you know it's interesting. Blue came in later
- 2:19Speaker 3: in nineteen ninety five. Blue came out of a vote
- 2:22Speaker 3: I think it was pink, purple, and blue for a
- 2:26Speaker 3: new color to be added to the mix, and everyone
- 2:29Speaker 3: voted for blue. Blue is a hard color to it
- 2:36Speaker 3: to get, particularly when you're doing natural dyes because the
- 2:41Speaker 3: old joke is there's no blue food. Now there's blueberries,
- 2:45Speaker 3: but it's not really a blue per se. So being
- 2:48Speaker 3: able to find natural resources that can be used to
- 2:53Speaker 3: color the same blue kind of like I guess it's
- 2:56Speaker 3: a cyrillian or something like that as has been difficult.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Now they've found something called spirollina. Yeah, and it is
- 3:06Speaker 3: it's able to get a similar color. However, with each
- 3:11Speaker 3: new chemical putting into an old process, because you're not
- 3:15Speaker 3: going to change the entire factory, right, it has to
- 3:19Speaker 3: have certain viscosity, uh certain but certain stickiness but not
- 3:23Speaker 3: too sticky. And they found as they're using this to
- 3:26Speaker 3: match what they refer to as blue one that to
- 3:31Speaker 3: use enough of it clogs things up. They have to
- 3:34Speaker 3: go in by hand and clean these machini. It has
- 3:37Speaker 3: become a mess. By the way, what they are using
- 3:40Speaker 3: spirollina is algae. It is algae.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Which is why, uh, that is why Mars is setting
- 3:48Speaker 2: up a very small M and M factory right there
- 3:52Speaker 2: at the reflecting pool in Washington.
- 3:57Speaker 3: But that's where their home base is to get all
- 4:00Speaker 3: the alergy from flue and the America Blue paint.
- 4:05Speaker 1: So it's actually fascinating.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:08Speaker 3: The whole reason why this has come later than other foods,
- 4:11Speaker 3: you know, a lot of foods craft macaroni and cheese
- 4:14Speaker 3: and the like switch to natural dyes some time ago
- 4:18Speaker 3: is that for some reason, people are more concerned about
- 4:22Speaker 3: dyes in their savory foods than they are in candy
- 4:26Speaker 3: for some reason. So it's been a little slower on
- 4:29Speaker 3: the uptake to do this. But Eminem says that they
- 4:32Speaker 3: were they were looking into this and moving towards us
- 4:35Speaker 3: SECON before you know the Maha stuff.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and look at listok, at the politics as this
- 4:40Speaker 2: for a moment. Now, I have said, and a lot
- 4:42Speaker 2: of people believe that RFK Junior is how do I
- 4:46Speaker 2: describe it? How would I describe him? Crazy? Does that work?
- 4:49Speaker 2: Because crazy sure works for me. However, his campaign to
- 4:54Speaker 2: get rid of artificial dyes artificial ingredients that hits home
- 4:59Speaker 2: for a lot of people, because there's no way that
- 5:03Speaker 2: is more dangerous than artificial dies if you get rid
- 5:07Speaker 2: of them. This is in vaccines, where let's get rid
- 5:10Speaker 2: of vaccines. No one can argue that artificial dyes and
- 5:15Speaker 2: artificial colors and artificial ingredients help a product. I mean
- 5:19Speaker 2: they give it better color. They make it look better
- 5:23Speaker 2: and much better in terms of holding its shape. But
- 5:26Speaker 2: this is one where and they're cow telling to RFK
- 5:31Speaker 2: Junior because he actually has a lot of power, and
- 5:33Speaker 2: of course he has the power of the presidency behind him.
- 5:36Speaker 3: But I agree with you, this one makes more sense.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It's not like the vaccine issue.
- 5:40Speaker 1: This one.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I think we'd all say we want less chemical additives,
- 5:47Speaker 3: especially unnecessary ones that are just aesthetic or heavy preservatives
- 5:53Speaker 3: and things like that. So this is going in a
- 5:55Speaker 3: good direction.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It's just.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Brown. The chocolate also has a lot of blue in
- 6:02Speaker 3: it to make, so the chemistry is going to be
- 6:04Speaker 3: an issue for them to figure this out.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Mars has a natural color effort, a department of one
- 6:12Speaker 2: hundred people, and twenty five of them are working on blue. Still,
- 6:18Speaker 2: they're working on blue. They're focused, and there is a
- 6:21Speaker 2: woman by the name of Claire Hewitt who's overseeing this,
- 6:25Speaker 2: and she's known as the Chief Color Officer of Mars.
- 6:31Speaker 2: That's kind of fine, isn't it.
- 6:33Speaker 1: You know, don't you remember red dye number something or other, that.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Number five or three, red eye number four, red eye
- 6:41Speaker 2: number four.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Thanks for thirty two.
- 6:45Speaker 2: They had nineteen.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Back then twelve. No, but they have to take it out.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I think the red eminems were pulled for a while.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Ninety two, two seventeen. We're done.
- 6:59Speaker 1: It's happening.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all happen in radio. Yeah, I know it's
- 7:04Speaker 2: kind of crazy. Okay, moving on, because this is all
- 7:09Speaker 2: about the fourth of July. But it's a story that
- 7:11Speaker 2: goes and takes a different spin. It's a story about
- 7:15Speaker 2: It starts with this woman, Amy Cook, and her husband
- 7:19Speaker 2: and they lived in the San Marcos condo and for
- 7:22Speaker 2: the past twenty years they've been flying to the US flag.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Now the HOA is saying, Nope, you can't do it anymore.
- 7:28Speaker 2: We're going to hit you with a fine. And we
- 7:32Speaker 2: look at the CCNRS. We have made it very clear
- 7:36Speaker 2: you cannot put up any flag, any banner of any
- 7:40Speaker 2: kind in a common area or attached to a common area.
- 7:45Speaker 2: And they're going, wait a minute, this is the American flag.
- 7:50Speaker 2: And the condo Association is saying, nope, not a chance.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Now I have to look at my condo, is soor
- 7:57Speaker 2: my homeowner association and see if there is a limitation.
- 8:02Speaker 2: And my guess is there probably is, because my HOA
- 8:06Speaker 2: is really strict, even to the point where I'm replacing
- 8:10Speaker 2: garage doors my garage doors, and I'm matching the doors.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I still had to go in front of the architectural
- 8:16Speaker 2: committee with the exact paint, with the exact design before
- 8:21Speaker 2: they would okay it. I mean crazy.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Why would you want to live like that?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Because you have no choice, because if you live in
- 8:27Speaker 2: any kind of a gated community, there's an Hoas a
- 8:30Speaker 2: matter of fact, there's a good chance if you live
- 8:32Speaker 2: anywhere in any neighborhood this hoa. But prior to this,
- 8:37Speaker 2: I lived in just a regular home on the street
- 8:39Speaker 2: there was an HOA. What is that about? Because there
- 8:43Speaker 2: are hoas and the hoas have tremendous power. So in
- 8:46Speaker 2: this case, the complex it's hilarious, called the Ambience Owner Association.
- 8:53Speaker 2: They passed in twenty twenty four a policy prohibiting any flag,
- 8:58Speaker 2: signs or banners from being displayed in common areas well.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Amy Cook and her husband said, what are you doing?
- 9:04Speaker 2: This is the American flag, We've been flying it for
- 9:06Speaker 2: twenty years. And the answers, We're not going to do it.
- 9:09Speaker 2: And they're getting into a fight. I mean they're getting
- 9:11Speaker 2: into a pissy match now for her benefit. The law
- 9:15Speaker 2: has been changed where she can only be fined one
- 9:17Speaker 2: hundred dollars per violation, and as she fights it, she'll
- 9:21Speaker 2: probably end up just paying one hundred dollars. But the
- 9:25Speaker 2: point of this, and I am fine with saying you
- 9:29Speaker 2: cannot put up banners, you cannot put up flags. You
- 9:34Speaker 2: can not put up anything in your home or in
- 9:38Speaker 2: front of your home, or the side of your home
- 9:40Speaker 2: that can be seen, except you would think the American
- 9:43Speaker 2: flag would be. Of course, the American flag would be
- 9:48Speaker 2: an exception. But let me ask you this, how far
- 9:51Speaker 2: does that go. Let's say you have a political problem
- 9:54Speaker 2: with the United States, which a lot of people do,
- 9:57Speaker 2: Lindsey particularly, what if you put it up down? Is
- 10:01Speaker 2: that a political statement? Yes? Or is that still okay?
- 10:04Speaker 2: So therefore that's not you're not showing the American flag.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Well yeah, you're making a whole different statement.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Okay, But but it's still the American flag.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But it's a sign of distress.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Okay. And who decides that you can only fly the
- 10:23Speaker 2: American flag under these circumstances? Okay, you can't do it
- 10:28Speaker 2: at half massed, you can't do it. You can't fly
- 10:33Speaker 2: it with well, the upside down. One is you can
- 10:36Speaker 2: make the HOA can make a distinction. But the point
- 10:41Speaker 2: I'm making is what is a political statement? And I
- 10:45Speaker 2: think that there it can be a fuzzy line. Now
- 10:48Speaker 2: keep in mind, right now, I think there should be
- 10:51Speaker 2: an exception made for the American flag that any other
- 10:55Speaker 2: restriction you can make an American flag. Now, do they
- 10:58Speaker 2: have the right to limit the side? Well, yeah, you
- 11:01Speaker 2: can't have an American flag that is so big that
- 11:04Speaker 2: it dominates the entire neighborhood. That's you know, twenty by forty.
- 11:08Speaker 3: That's my point. You've got common sense. Okay, So they
- 11:12Speaker 3: write to say that it can only be this size,
- 11:15Speaker 3: has to and that's exactly by the way, unless it's lighted.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Whatever's And that's exactly what a lot of ho's are doing.
- 11:23Speaker 2: But this fight is going to get through, and it's
- 11:24Speaker 2: going to be a political fight, and it really is
- 11:27Speaker 2: going to be does A without an exception? Does? Is
- 11:32Speaker 2: it a freedom of religion? Is it a freedom of
- 11:37Speaker 2: what wouldn't be freedom of religion? Is it's political commentary? However?
- 11:42Speaker 2: H You know, flag burning, for example, used to be
- 11:45Speaker 2: a crime, and no one had any problem with people
- 11:49Speaker 2: burning flags until the American flag is burned, and that
- 11:54Speaker 2: is a political statement. You know, you're allowed to do that.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Supreme Court said, flag burning is a political statement. Now
- 12:00Speaker 2: can see c in ours be passed if you live
- 12:03Speaker 2: in say you can't burn the flag? Of course, I
- 12:06Speaker 2: just find this to be an interest, a very interesting fight.
- 12:08Speaker 2: And there in my neighborhood there are American flags that
- 12:12Speaker 2: are flying. At one place down the street that had
- 12:16Speaker 2: actually a Biden Harris sign in front of their yard.
- 12:22Speaker 2: And I was convinced. I live in an Orange County
- 12:25Speaker 2: in pretty much a white area, and it is pretty
- 12:29Speaker 2: much a white Orange County area, gated community, and I
- 12:34Speaker 2: gave it decent odds that that home would have been torched,
- 12:39Speaker 2: and it wasn't, and I was surprised. But it's a
- 12:44Speaker 2: question of with the HOA that is so strict where
- 12:47Speaker 2: I live, the American flag is no issue. And here's
- 12:51Speaker 2: the other problem too that I have with the American
- 12:53Speaker 2: flag today. I don't know, and I have a problem
- 12:57Speaker 2: with it, and that is today is the American flag
- 13:02Speaker 2: is it reflect does reflect the United States? Or does
- 13:06Speaker 2: it reflect a fundamental right wing political uh political political.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Philosophy American flag. He thinks it belongs to the right.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Is no, it's not a question belongs to the right.
- 13:20Speaker 3: It is a question that has the right co opted it.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Oh that all of the people at the soccer match
- 13:25Speaker 1: yesterday or a bunch of right wingers.
- 13:27Speaker 2: That's a little different. That's a no, it is not
- 13:30Speaker 2: the same thing. It is the US flag. But what
- 13:33Speaker 2: I'm saying when you put it up on your house,
- 13:34Speaker 2: I just noticed that. Okay, I'm I'm talking about what
- 13:38Speaker 2: I have seen. It is sad and I've been bringing that.
- 13:41Speaker 2: That's what I perceive. Okay, Uh and uh they have
- 13:45Speaker 2: a problem. You know. I have a red flag with
- 13:47Speaker 2: a hammer and sickle on it, and uh, so far
- 13:50Speaker 2: I'm getting a little bit of grief from it in
- 13:52Speaker 2: my neighborhood.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I'm where I thought you're going to say, had a
- 13:55Speaker 3: red flag with a hemorrhoid on it.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, we're done. He does have pictures of his
- 14:05Speaker 2: insights on his inside. There is a picture of my
- 14:08Speaker 2: insights when.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I had to see my insights coming out.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Yeah, my quolenoscophy. Okay, guys, Okay, A story I want
- 14:15Speaker 2: to share with you about chatbots just came out Wall
- 14:18Speaker 2: Street Journals reporting on this and that is a group
- 14:22Speaker 2: of research. Of course, this is a research study has
- 14:25Speaker 2: found that therapy focused chat bots are really performing worse
- 14:32Speaker 2: than anticipated. They just don't seem to be working. They
- 14:36Speaker 2: just don't. And here's why. The chat bots are very
- 14:40Speaker 2: very good at asking the questions and the AI sort
- 14:45Speaker 2: of figures out where you're coming from. But the reality
- 14:48Speaker 2: is that AI, when it comes to these programs, are
- 14:52Speaker 2: really meant to base to back up what you say.
- 14:59Speaker 2: You know, you feel, okay, you're doing all right, here's
- 15:01Speaker 2: I can help you. What they can't do is really
- 15:04Speaker 2: read you. They can't really see you, of course, not
- 15:08Speaker 2: because you're on the computer. So when I see my therapist,
- 15:11Speaker 2: and I've seen a therapist, basically, if you're a Jewish,
- 15:14Speaker 2: have money, you got to see a therapist. I mean,
- 15:15Speaker 2: it's just that simple. It's it's it's a law. You know,
- 15:18Speaker 2: it's not even a policy, it's an outright law. And
- 15:21Speaker 2: so how does the let's say I go to therapy
- 15:24Speaker 2: on my go to chat bot therapy, how does they
- 15:28Speaker 2: know that I'm not on the floor moaning in a
- 15:30Speaker 2: fetal position, which I am on a regular basis. What
- 15:35Speaker 2: it won't do is do what my therapist does and
- 15:38Speaker 2: call me a worm and make me sit on the
- 15:41Speaker 2: floor instead of a chair. Now as ridiculous that sounds,
- 15:45Speaker 2: I mean, I have a weird therapist. It really doesn't
- 15:48Speaker 2: do the same job. It cannot read you. It cannot
- 15:50Speaker 2: it doesn't have gut instincts. And the problem is because
- 15:54Speaker 2: it is so much cheaper. One of things about therapy,
- 15:57Speaker 2: it ain't cheap and in assurance, if it does cover,
- 16:01Speaker 2: it only covers a limited amount of money and a
- 16:04Speaker 2: limited amount of time. So it is something that is
- 16:08Speaker 2: out of the reach show, especially ongoing therapy a lot
- 16:11Speaker 2: of people. So what do you have, Well, there are
- 16:14Speaker 2: now AI programs out there, mental health programs. Some of
- 16:17Speaker 2: them are for free, some of them are really minimal cost,
- 16:21Speaker 2: and that seems to be the wave of the future.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And again this is a problem where you know, gut
- 16:27Speaker 2: instinct is just not there. It's just not human. It
- 16:32Speaker 2: could be human, like it could ask the appropriate questions. Yesterday,
- 16:38Speaker 2: for example, I had to see a psychiatrist. Not only
- 16:43Speaker 2: did I need one, but I'm on limit deal. I
- 16:45Speaker 2: make fun of that. I'm on this anti anxiety pill
- 16:48Speaker 2: that I have been for a million years, mainly to
- 16:50Speaker 2: bring my boiling point up a Notcherso because I used
- 16:54Speaker 2: to I used to get pretty angry pretty quickly, and
- 16:58Speaker 2: everybody around KFI knows it. And so now it's just
- 17:01Speaker 2: it just takes more to make me angry. And so
- 17:04Speaker 2: that's lemiketel, that's the drug I take. And so because
- 17:08Speaker 2: Kaiser now has to have a psychiatrist issue, it used
- 17:11Speaker 2: to be my interness. I had my meeting with my
- 17:13Speaker 2: first psychiatrist because here in Orange County it used to
- 17:16Speaker 2: be in the valley. And so we went through, I
- 17:20Speaker 2: mean the whole gamut. No, are you depressed? Yes? Why
- 17:25Speaker 2: do you think you're depressed because I got married? Do
- 17:29Speaker 2: you have issues that you're not happy with? Yes? What
- 17:33Speaker 2: are those? My marriage? Do you have a problem anticipating
- 17:38Speaker 2: in the future. Is that an issue for you? Yes? Why?
- 17:42Speaker 2: Because I got married? Are you happy? No? Why? Well,
- 17:49Speaker 2: let me put it this way. It got to the
- 17:50Speaker 2: point where he just typed in married married married married,
- 17:55Speaker 2: and he upped my dose. He upped my dose. Yes, Now,
- 18:01Speaker 2: that could have been a chatbot that asked me those questions,
- 18:04Speaker 2: and we come back and say, okay, all right, you
- 18:08Speaker 2: need an increase of your dose. But as much fun
- 18:12Speaker 2: as that is, that is easy now really going deep
- 18:16Speaker 2: into my feelings, really diving into why I'm miserable because
- 18:22Speaker 2: I got married. That's a little bit deeper, that's a
- 18:26Speaker 2: little bit more difficult to do. Okay, I just want
- 18:31Speaker 2: to share that. Go ahead and talk to your chatbot
- 18:33Speaker 2: about your mental illness. I should do one of those.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I should be a model for one of those. I should.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I should write one. I really should. Will is shaking
- 18:45Speaker 2: his head, No, you shouldn't, Yes I do, or yes
- 18:48Speaker 2: I should. Okay. Going on today, the US soccer team
- 18:51Speaker 2: foot the ball team is moving on. It beat Bosnia
- 18:55Speaker 2: Herzogovina and now it's in the top sixteen. That is
- 19:00Speaker 2: really good news. And so oh and Conway is hosting
- 19:05Speaker 2: the Huntington Beach July fourth Parade, which he.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Does, yes, he said a Grand Marshall.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Yeah, which is always fun. They love him and he
- 19:14Speaker 2: loves them. See how that works. Okay, before well, I
- 19:18Speaker 2: got a couple of announcements to make, but maybe we'll
- 19:19Speaker 2: hold it off until we finished this segment. And this segment,
- 19:23Speaker 2: and I'm going to ask Neil to join me because
- 19:25Speaker 2: this is something we have talked about, and that is beer.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Is this the market is getting bigger? But only for
- 19:35Speaker 2: getting smaller. Because it's getting smaller, and what does that mean, Neil,
- 19:38Speaker 2: why don't you jump in?
- 19:39Speaker 3: It's an interesting time because during the fourth of July,
- 19:43Speaker 3: sales with beer usually pop up about thirty seven percent
- 19:48Speaker 3: above average. The trend that's changing now and there's different
- 19:53Speaker 3: opinions as to why is the pony can or pony
- 19:56Speaker 3: bottle now growing up. When I heard you know, with beer,
- 20:00Speaker 3: I thought of a pony cag. A pony keg is
- 20:03Speaker 3: I think one fourth the size quarter size of.
- 20:07Speaker 1: A regular keg.
- 20:08Speaker 3: And even though these so called pony cans and bottles
- 20:12Speaker 3: have been known as things like grenades or throwdowns, the
- 20:17Speaker 3: pony means that it's like, instead of committing to twelve
- 20:22Speaker 3: ounces or something like that. Just like coke and soda
- 20:27Speaker 3: have gone from the big cans to the smaller, the
- 20:30Speaker 3: seven point five or eight ounce cans, they're doing this
- 20:34Speaker 3: with beer and they're finding that parents that want to
- 20:36Speaker 3: relax or have a beer at the end of the night,
- 20:38Speaker 3: but the kids are home and they're watching the kids,
- 20:41Speaker 3: and they don't want to get plastered. Or what we're
- 20:44Speaker 3: seeing with protein and a lot of and things plates
- 20:48Speaker 3: size changing at restaurants because the GLP ones is people
- 20:54Speaker 3: want to enjoy a beer, but they don't want the
- 20:57Speaker 3: extra calories for the sake of calorise, and so they're
- 21:00Speaker 3: drinking a little bit less.
- 21:02Speaker 2: But it costs a lot more pronounce if. Oh yeah,
- 21:05Speaker 2: I look at it, they're pretty expensive, because I look
- 21:07Speaker 2: at diet coke, of course. And by the way, the
- 21:09Speaker 2: pony in my life is the only time I really
- 21:12Speaker 2: hear pony. Is dad with your pony up the credit
- 21:14Speaker 2: card and that. Yeah, it's it's tough. It doesn't stop,
- 21:19Speaker 2: It really doesn't. And my kids are thirty one years
- 21:22Speaker 2: old and that hasn't stopped. Does it ever stop? Can
- 21:26Speaker 2: tell me if someone tell me, does it ever stop?
- 21:29Speaker 3: I knew there was going to be problems when you
- 21:31Speaker 3: introduced me to your brand new children, not as your heirs,
- 21:35Speaker 3: but as your errors. And I thought it very well right,
- 21:40Speaker 3: very well said. But let me ask you, is this thing?
- 21:45Speaker 3: Is this a real trend?
- 21:46Speaker 2: Is this going to become part and part parcel of
- 21:49Speaker 2: where we're going in the future, or is this so
- 21:52Speaker 2: it's not just a quickie trend, it's it's for real.
- 21:56Speaker 3: It happened with SODA's, and I think it happens here.
- 21:59Speaker 3: I think people want to be able to moderate their
- 22:03Speaker 3: drinking and not be forced to drink the size that
- 22:07Speaker 3: is usually offered. So you have you know, you gonna
- 22:12Speaker 3: have your your forty if you want, looking at you
- 22:14Speaker 3: conna in a brown paper bag that you have that
- 22:21Speaker 3: that you have your twelve or your sixteen ounce, and
- 22:23Speaker 3: now you're gonna have a seven point five ounce.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I like that because I like the taste of beer.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I don't get to enjoy beer as much as I
- 22:30Speaker 3: used to, but I don't always want. You know, I'm
- 22:36Speaker 3: sipping it while I'm grilling or something, and I'm not
- 22:38Speaker 3: looking to get schnockered, Otherwise I'd be doing my old fashions.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Have you noticed that you can't buy an Australian can
- 22:46Speaker 2: of beer for under forty ounces? They just don't even
- 22:49Speaker 2: make them.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Well that's their pony, that's their small one.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. All right, guys, we are done and
- 22:56Speaker 2: coming up this weekend of course, July fourth, as we
- 22:58Speaker 2: celebrate the two and fiftieth birthday, and it's gonna be
- 23:02Speaker 2: fascinating because we're gonna see the Trump version and we're
- 23:06Speaker 2: gonna see the Congressional version two different ways. I am
- 23:09Speaker 2: not here tomorrow, but everybody else is here. Neil Savedra
- 23:14Speaker 2: is filling in for me. I am back on Saturday
- 23:18Speaker 2: with the Handle on the Law. Well, actually it's recorded,
- 23:24Speaker 2: but we're gonna pretend that it's real and that I'm live.
- 23:27Speaker 2: But when I take calls during the week and after
- 23:31Speaker 2: the show on Saturday, I record those so they're always
- 23:34Speaker 2: fresh calls. So if you listen on Saturday and you
- 23:37Speaker 2: think it's a fresh show that you have not listened
- 23:40Speaker 2: to before, it is. But when I say here, I am,
- 23:44Speaker 2: I'm really not. Did that make sense?
- 23:48Speaker 3: I think the giveaway is when you go, hey, everybody,
- 23:50Speaker 3: it's good to be here on fourth of July, and
- 23:54Speaker 3: we're gonna have a great show today.
- 23:56Speaker 1: That's all the tip to me.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. And when I tell you they just found
- 24:01Speaker 2: the lind Bird baby, you know the show is somewhat dated. Yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 2: we're done, guys, back again. We come on Monday, where
- 24:09Speaker 2: we start with the whole crew once again. Neil obviously
- 24:14Speaker 2: on tomorrow for me, and you're still doing Saturday, right, Neil,
- 24:17Speaker 2: with the.
- 24:18Speaker 1: July Saturday fourth, we'll be on tape.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Oh you will you too?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Okay, we'll be with with my family in the fourth
- 24:23Speaker 1: of July.
- 24:24Speaker 2: That's sweet. I don't know what that's like. Gary and
