- 8:39Morning sent you by. And now, back to the show.
- 8:44Let's talk science. A former NASA engineer, Charles
- 8:48Buller, now at Exodus Propulsion Technologies,
- 8:52claims an electrostatic propellant -less drive
- 8:55can counter Earth's gravity. He says a new force
- 8:59allows electric fields to generate sustained
- 9:02thrust without expelling mass, enabling center
- 9:05-of -mass translation. Unaffiliated with NASA,
- 9:09he presented at APEC, citing colleagues from
- 9:13NASA, Blue Origin, and the Air Force, and a 2023
- 9:17trial that reportedly beat gravity. Skepticism
- 9:21is warranted as Roger Scheuer's M -drive from
- 9:242001 failed under testing, despite a 2016 NASA
- 9:29Eagle Works hint with later studies, including
- 9:32Dresden University of Technology, finding zero
- 9:36thrust. And in entertainment news. Darren Aronofsky
- 9:43embraced something closer to light with caught
- 9:46stealing. Set in 1998 New York City, this rosing
- 9:51chase follows Henry Thompson, a Lower East Side
- 9:55bartender and former ball player, now drifting
- 9:58and drinking, played by Austin Butler. A neighbor's
- 10:02cat, a mysterious key, and brutal men ignite
- 10:05pursuits across the city, including a drone shot
- 10:08through the Unisphere in Queens. Low -stakes
- 10:11drills and a vivid New York portrayal gets a
- 10:14graded B-, it's rated R, and 107 minutes. Well,
- 10:21all righty, folks, it's time for the quote of
- 10:24the day. And today, our quote comes from the
- 10:28American inventor and visionary Alexander Graham
- 10:31Bell. And he said, when one door closes, another
- 10:36opens. But we often look so long and so regretfully
- 10:39upon the closed door that we do not see the one
- 10:42which has opened for us. And that's a wrap for
- 10:47this morning. You can check out our Instagram,
- 10:50YouTube, and TikTok for some captivating aerial
- 10:54videos with local news and the weather reports.
- 10:58Have an amazing day, my good friends. We'll see
- 11:01you tomorrow with another episode of Sunny Mornings
- 11:04in Boston.
