- 1:39Speaker 6: that it is sir, it's also eight am, right you are.
- 1:43Speaker 6: So the last couple of weeks we have been doing
- 1:45Speaker 6: the OTB Top twenty five.
- 1:47Speaker 5: It's basically.
- 1:49Speaker 6: It's basically the rankings that everybody's going to go off
- 1:52Speaker 6: of eight people doesn't matter.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Coaches pull certainly does not matter.
- 1:56Speaker 6: This is the OTB Top twenty five, and so this remember,
- 2:01Speaker 6: we're going to go you know, six, five, four, three,
- 2:03Speaker 6: and then on Friday, the last day before boot meets ball,
- 2:06Speaker 6: we're gonna go too and one for our two best
- 2:08Speaker 6: teams in the country. Here a quick recap before we
- 2:12Speaker 6: get to Tayyay with the number sixteen in the OTB
- 2:15Speaker 6: Top twenty five at twenty five, Boise he State at
- 2:18Speaker 6: twenty four, Memphis twenty three, Baylor twenty two, Georgia Tech
- 2:21Speaker 6: twenty one, Tennessee twenty, Iowa State nineteen, Texas eight and
- 2:24Speaker 6: four eighteen, Indiana seventeen, Old Miss sixteen, Florida fifteen, Texas
- 2:29Speaker 6: Tech fourteen, SMU thirteen, Arizona State, twelve, Alabama eleven, Miami ten,
- 2:35Speaker 6: Illinois nine, Texas eight, Oregon seven Notre Dame and number six.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Heyday, we go number six.
- 2:43Speaker 1: We are staying in the SEC. We have the Georgia.
- 2:47Speaker 7: Buza, we will go down.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Say what do you say?
- 2:52Speaker 7: Say now?
- 2:52Speaker 2: So, look, they're obviously breaking in a new quarterback with
- 2:55Speaker 2: Gunnar Stockton. We saw him playing a few big time
- 2:57Speaker 2: games and like he held his own.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I mean, they didn't ask him to do a ton in.
- 3:01Speaker 2: That game against Texas, but Georgia wins that game.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I think it's Notre Dame.
- 3:05Speaker 2: He goes twenty of thirty two, two thirty four touchdown,
- 3:08Speaker 2: no picks like Notre Dame in Texas. You could argue
- 3:10Speaker 2: those were the two de best defenses in all of
- 3:12Speaker 2: college football last year. Gunner Stockton thrown into the fire
- 3:16Speaker 2: and he didn't collapse, he didn't fold, So credit to
- 3:19Speaker 2: him there. Now they're breaking in a lot of new
- 3:22Speaker 2: pieces on offense. Four of their five starting offensive lineman
- 3:25Speaker 2: from a year ago or gone, but the one that
- 3:27Speaker 2: is back is Ernest Green, their left tackle, which is
- 3:30Speaker 2: big for a guy like Gunner Stockton. Oscar Delp and
- 3:33Speaker 2: lost in Lucky, a tight end are both back. Dylan Bell,
- 3:36Speaker 2: receiver from a year ago, he's back as well. So
- 3:39Speaker 2: a few weapons for Gunner Stockton to play with as
- 3:41Speaker 2: far as last year goes now at running back, it's
- 3:44Speaker 2: gonna be a committee like we've seen the past few years.
- 3:47Speaker 2: And Nate Frasier back, he had six hundred and seventy
- 3:49Speaker 2: one yards last year.
- 3:51Speaker 1: He was kind of their lead back.
- 3:52Speaker 2: And then you bring in Josh McCrae, the Illinois transfer.
- 3:55Speaker 2: He had six hundred yards and double digit rushing touchdowns
- 3:58Speaker 2: for the Fighting the Lion I last year. That's a
- 4:00Speaker 2: pretty good one to two punch in the backfield. Just
- 4:03Speaker 2: three returning starters on defense. But let's be honest, it's
- 4:06Speaker 2: Kirby smarties aren't the benefit of the doubt. Guys always
- 4:09Speaker 2: going to have a good defense. You bring in the
- 4:11Speaker 2: Branch brothers, Zion and Zachariah. We'll see if the hype
- 4:15Speaker 2: finally turns into on field production.
- 4:18Speaker 1: We'll see what happens there.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Look a lot of young talent, second rank recruiting class
- 4:22Speaker 2: in twenty twenty five, so some new faces in new places,
- 4:26Speaker 2: but there's a lot.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Of talent there.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Nonetheless, I do like their schedule the more I look
- 4:31Speaker 2: at it. I mean, look, it's tough, but you don't
- 4:33Speaker 2: play LSU, you don't play Texas A and M. You
- 4:35Speaker 2: don't play Ole miss you don't play Missouri you do
- 4:38Speaker 2: get Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Auburn. Now you have Alabama
- 4:42Speaker 2: and Texas on that schedule. Both of those games are
- 4:45Speaker 2: in Athens. Though your toughest road game is Tennessee away,
- 4:49Speaker 2: that's your toughest away game.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But you got Alabama and.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Texas at home, and you avoid some of the other
- 4:54Speaker 2: heavy hitters in the SEC. So for those reasons, I
- 4:57Speaker 2: got the Georgia Bulldall sitting there at number six.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Yeah, look, Georgia is somebody that you have to continue
- 5:03Speaker 6: to respect. It doesn't really matter, you know, who they
- 5:07Speaker 6: start over with at really any position because of what
- 5:09Speaker 6: Kirby Smart has built there. Now, this team right here
- 5:14Speaker 6: has got more question marks than they certainly have had
- 5:16Speaker 6: in the past, and you laid out some of those,
- 5:19Speaker 6: like even a Zachariah Branch. We have heard so many
- 5:22Speaker 6: times how good Zachariah Branch was and we just haven't.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Seen it on the field.
- 5:26Speaker 6: And it's like, how dare you say that Zachariat Branch
- 5:29Speaker 6: isn't the top transfer in the SEC. It's I guess
- 5:32Speaker 6: he had five hundred yards receiving last year, which is solid,
- 5:35Speaker 6: but it's not game changing in his career. He's only
- 5:37Speaker 6: got a little bit over eight hundred yards receiving, and
- 5:41Speaker 6: so like Georgia is banking on Zachariah Branch finally living
- 5:44Speaker 6: up to all the hype that everybody's built him up
- 5:47Speaker 6: to be coming over from USC and the thing is
- 5:50Speaker 6: they have to have him be that guy. They really
- 5:54Speaker 6: struggled last year with weapons with Carson Beck like receiver.
- 6:00Speaker 6: The running backs were good, but they weren't as good
- 6:03Speaker 6: as they've typically been. Now Georgia's really set a standard
- 6:05Speaker 6: at running back, but the weapons were a real issue.
- 6:08Speaker 6: So you go get Zachariah Branch, you go get Noah
- 6:11Speaker 6: Thomas from Texas A and m another five hundred yard receiver,
- 6:14Speaker 6: but they.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Need a receiver one.
- 6:18Speaker 6: They need somebody to go take that and be close
- 6:21Speaker 6: to a thousand yard receiver if Georgia wants to get
- 6:24Speaker 6: back to the National Championship.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Conversation.
- 6:26Speaker 6: I like Nate Frasier running back, but you can't do
- 6:30Speaker 6: it anymore just running the football, even if you do
- 6:33Speaker 6: play great defense like Georgia, in a new playoff, you're
- 6:36Speaker 6: going to come up with a team that is going
- 6:38Speaker 6: to score points and can you keep up with them?
- 6:40Speaker 5: Now?
- 6:40Speaker 6: I said it the other day when we were breaking
- 6:42Speaker 6: down Notre Dame, who is our number seven team. Notre
- 6:46Speaker 6: Dame brought the fight to Georgia. They were the more
- 6:49Speaker 6: physical football team. That doesn't happen to Georgia, but it
- 6:52Speaker 6: did that day in the Superdome, and so they got
- 6:56Speaker 6: to get back to having that, Hey we're Georgia, We're
- 6:58Speaker 6: going to strike fear in ours because last time out
- 7:01Speaker 6: they got big boy.
- 7:03Speaker 8: Yeah, Georgia seems like the team that is just they're
- 7:07Speaker 8: just old, old faithful, just trust the SEC. Hard knows
- 7:11Speaker 8: they're going to kind of look and emulate that classic
- 7:15Speaker 8: SEC style football team. Really good bigs, good defense. They're
- 7:20Speaker 8: going to hold you to some low scoring games and
- 7:24Speaker 8: just be a scrappy bunch that's gonna be a hard beat.
- 7:26Speaker 8: And you know, Kirby Smart has, like Taylor said, has
- 7:29Speaker 8: earned the benefit of the doubt on everything. They're gonna
- 7:31Speaker 8: be a really good football team. I am not real
- 7:34Speaker 8: high on Gunner Stockton as of right now at the
- 7:37Speaker 8: quarterback position. I think they're gonna lack the fire power
- 7:39Speaker 8: power at quarterback and receiver this year to make a
- 7:42Speaker 8: run to a championship. So I like the spot being
- 7:45Speaker 8: at six because they're gonna be really good. They're gonna
- 7:47Speaker 8: be in the playoffs. But how far can Stockton take them?
- 7:51Speaker 8: That remains to be seen. And I don't think he
- 7:53Speaker 8: did anything last year to prove to me that he
- 7:55Speaker 8: is going to be an SEC championship, a national championship
- 8:00Speaker 8: calib caliber, full time starter for them.
- 8:04Speaker 7: We'll see, though, that remains to be seen. He was
- 8:05Speaker 7: a young guy.
- 8:06Speaker 8: He can make a lot of improvements, and he did
- 8:08Speaker 8: a lot of things really well off schedule, but it
- 8:10Speaker 8: all kind of looked hard. But that he did it
- 8:12Speaker 8: last year just it just looked difficult. It didn't look
- 8:14Speaker 8: like it was plays that could be sustained over the
- 8:18Speaker 8: length of a season, weekend week out on the SEC
- 8:20Speaker 8: schedule and into the playoffs. So I looked to them
- 8:24Speaker 8: to be very incredibly good, incredibly talented, dangerous. Is gonna
- 8:28Speaker 8: win a lot of games. They're gonna win, you know,
- 8:29Speaker 8: it'll be a ten, probably a ten plus maybe so,
- 8:34Speaker 8: but I like to pick at six. I don't think
- 8:36Speaker 8: they got that firepower to make a big playoff run.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I'm glad you mentioned that because, like, you know what,
- 8:41Speaker 2: I've in the hairline, but I found out I was
- 8:43Speaker 2: doing six. It's like Okay, here's where I'm putting Penn State.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I'm not nearly as high on them as everybody else.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I was looking at their weapons like I can't do it,
- 8:50Speaker 2: especially running back, like they got the best duo in
- 8:52Speaker 2: the country.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And I get that we in this.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Room are not as high on Drew Aller as everybody else.
- 8:58Speaker 2: At least we know what the hell we're gonna get.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I cannot put Georgia higher than six. And he might
- 9:02Speaker 2: turn out to like he might.
- 9:04Speaker 8: Be right now, and we had seen him what I
- 9:08Speaker 8: saw good plays, but it also looked hard like all
- 9:11Speaker 8: the plays he made were like off schedule type. Okay,
- 9:14Speaker 8: off sedle type throws. It wasn't really working an offense,
- 9:17Speaker 8: and that's what you gotta do. It could be consistently good.
- 9:20Speaker 8: Now he's gonna win some games and the talent's gonna
- 9:22Speaker 8: show out. I mean, incredibly high recruit. So he's got
- 9:25Speaker 8: the talent, he's got the skills, and he's gonna win
- 9:26Speaker 8: some games for them.
- 9:27Speaker 7: It can't be consistent enough to take a team like that.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it's gonna be. It's gonna be different for the
- 9:32Speaker 5: Georgia Bulldogs. Certainly.
- 9:34Speaker 6: Moose, what do you think about the Georgia Bulldogs coming
- 9:36Speaker 6: in at number six.
- 9:37Speaker 9: Yeah, the youth on Georgia this year is really intriguing
- 9:41Speaker 9: to me. I mean, Kirby's smart harped on at a
- 9:43Speaker 9: bunch of SEC media days, and maybe that was just
- 9:45Speaker 9: the talking point that he wanted to get across. But
- 9:48Speaker 9: over fifty percent of their roster is underclassman this year.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I get it.
- 9:52Speaker 9: They roll in a bunch of recruits and they just
- 9:54Speaker 9: kind of rolled, but they've had a lot more veterans
- 9:56Speaker 9: on that team in recent memory. In this run, break
- 10:00Speaker 9: in a new quarterback with all that youth around, when
- 10:02Speaker 9: I mean Flynn, you were talking about Gunner Stockton where
- 10:04Speaker 9: it's not just like wow stuff from him that is intriguing.
- 10:09Speaker 9: The schedule is tough now they don't have to open
- 10:11Speaker 9: with Clemson again like they did a year ago. But
- 10:14Speaker 9: that was our George's best game they played all year
- 10:17Speaker 9: outside of maybe one of the Texas games.
- 10:20Speaker 4: But when you look at offense.
- 10:21Speaker 9: Defense, the opener was really their best game and it
- 10:24Speaker 9: was kind of just piecing it together from there. So, man,
- 10:27Speaker 9: with all that youth breaking in a new quarterback, this
- 10:29Speaker 9: is gonna be one of Kirby's more challenging teams to
- 10:33Speaker 9: make it all come together quickly.
- 10:35Speaker 4: I think for George, I think they could.
- 10:37Speaker 9: They could end up surprising people late when if they
- 10:40Speaker 9: get in, but it might be some growing pains throughout
- 10:43Speaker 9: the year for the Bulldogs.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 6: Luckily for them, they open up with Marshall at home
- 10:47Speaker 6: and Austin Py at home, and so that gives them
- 10:50Speaker 6: the opportunity for that new that we're talking about maybe
- 10:53Speaker 6: to come together, because then it goes at Tennessee intern Alaba.
- 10:57Speaker 8: Points as you say, like their big two games games,
- 11:01Speaker 8: and they're the biggest road game at tennes City.
- 11:04Speaker 1: This is their only tough road game.
- 11:06Speaker 7: I mean, and who do you say again? They have.
- 11:11Speaker 1: The state of Kentucky and Auburn, but you know, I.
- 11:14Speaker 6: Mean they're now their home opponents Alabama, Old miss Uh,
- 11:19Speaker 6: Florida's and Jacksonville of course, and then Texas, so they
- 11:23Speaker 6: got tough opponents, but none of them are at an
- 11:26Speaker 6: opposing state.
- 11:28Speaker 2: And then the Georgia Tech game we talked about moved
- 11:30Speaker 2: from Georgia Tech to that's not a true road game.
- 11:34Speaker 6: That should be God, I know you want some more money,
- 11:38Speaker 6: but now it's going to be eighty twenty Georgia fans
- 11:41Speaker 6: that should be in lobby.
- 11:42Speaker 7: God, we talked about it earlier.
- 11:45Speaker 5: I heard something like some crazy stats.
- 11:46Speaker 6: I mean millions they're getting for moving that game to Mercedes,
- 11:50Speaker 6: And I get it.
- 11:50Speaker 4: It's a lot.
- 11:51Speaker 5: It's like it's like twelve million.
- 11:52Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 11:53Speaker 6: Yeah, like twelve million bucks to move that game. I
- 11:55Speaker 6: get it. I get it. But I just know it's
- 11:57Speaker 6: going to be an away game for you. That's supposed
- 11:59Speaker 6: to be a home game. It's in your city, but
- 12:01Speaker 6: Athens is down the road and it's gonna be eighty twenty,
- 12:05Speaker 6: So come on, brient key.
- 12:07Speaker 8: I don't know, man, I gotta still on the Uh,
- 12:10Speaker 8: Georgia Tech fan base is gonna show out this year.
- 12:14Speaker 6: I'm not saying it's a bad fan base, but when
- 12:17Speaker 6: Georgia plays in Atlanta, it doesn't matter if they're playing.
- 12:20Speaker 5: Texas, Alabama, l s U, whoever.
- 12:23Speaker 6: Those fans traveled, But it's an hour down the road
- 12:26Speaker 6: from your campus, and half of Atlanta is Georgia fans.
- 12:31Speaker 5: I'd say eighty's the.
- 12:33Speaker 7: Biggest Georgia Tech donor. It needs to buy off the tickets.
- 12:37Speaker 5: It's an engineering school, right, Yeah, gotta.
- 12:39Speaker 7: Be a biggie you gotta be a big one of them,
- 12:41Speaker 7: all right, Man.
- 12:43Speaker 9: They went into Sanford Stadium last year and almost came
- 12:45Speaker 9: up with the victory. Yeah, I don't think there'd be
- 12:49Speaker 9: you know, intimidated by eighty twenty and Mercedes Benz.
- 12:54Speaker 5: That canna be intimidated.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Because if there is a group of meatthads and college
- 12:57Speaker 6: footbri teams intimidated, is Georgia Tech. I mean, Haynes King
- 13:02Speaker 6: ain't gonna care. I'm just saying, like you lost a
- 13:05Speaker 6: valuable home game. I think Georgia.
- 13:08Speaker 7: Tech's gonna win. Though one they're making a playoffs.
- 13:11Speaker 5: I would love for them to make the playoffs.
- 13:13Speaker 8: They would go against our top twenty five, which I'm
- 13:16Speaker 8: still mad at you about.
- 13:17Speaker 5: But me, you put him at twenty two. The AP
- 13:22Speaker 5: and the coaches didn't even put him in that.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Yeah, they were not.
- 13:26Speaker 5: Higher than anybody.
- 13:28Speaker 8: We don't listen to those poles. Those poles are dumb.
- 13:32Speaker 8: Ours is factual Georgia Tech My test twelve though. George W.
- 13:44Speaker 7: Woodrow George W.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Gave Georgia Tech thirty seven and a half million dollars
- 13:49Speaker 6: in his will.
- 13:51Speaker 5: That is one of the largest private gifts ever received
- 13:53Speaker 5: by the school.
- 13:53Speaker 4: That's strong.
- 13:54Speaker 9: But it was in his will, so I mean he's
- 13:58Speaker 9: kind of dead.
- 14:01Speaker 1: He's a little bit.
- 14:03Speaker 6: It's a little bit of this Alexander Dorris gave. He
- 14:09Speaker 6: raised over seventy eight million dollars. Uh, listen teket score,
- 14:13Speaker 6: they had the at fund. So we'll see if we
- 14:16Speaker 6: got a Mega tron given given these days my boys
- 14:23Speaker 6: to Shark Troyce, who's now the running back coach for
- 14:25Speaker 6: the Detroit Lions.
- 14:26Speaker 5: T Choice, what you're giving, what you're giving to choice,
- 14:30Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 14:32Speaker 6: I wonder to remind you about our friends over at Tommy's
- 14:34Speaker 6: Windows doors and signing Go. Tommy's dot com is the
- 14:37Speaker 6: website g E A u X Tommy with y dot com.
- 14:41Speaker 6: Tommy came over hung out with us on Friday. Always
- 14:44Speaker 6: good to see our guy Tommy Uh a member of
- 14:47Speaker 6: the Golden Band from Tiger Land. By the way, he's
- 14:49Speaker 6: fired up for the football season. Everybody's fired up. And
- 14:52Speaker 6: you'll be fired up when you have Tommy and the
- 14:54Speaker 6: team work on your project. As you see there year
- 14:56Speaker 6: after year after year, award winning this year five in
- 15:01Speaker 6: the Advocate Best Windows in Baton Rouge.
- 15:03Speaker 5: That was Tommy and the team.
- 15:04Speaker 8: Yeah, that's first time I got to meet Tommy and man,
- 15:06Speaker 8: what a what a guy and somebody that cares about
- 15:09Speaker 8: like got great beard, incredible, someone that cares so much
- 15:12Speaker 8: about the business, the work that they do, and we're
- 15:15Speaker 8: proud to be partnered up with them.
- 15:17Speaker 7: So windows door setting. You're talking about lifetime warranties.
- 15:19Speaker 8: We know, like if you have a project, if it's
- 15:20Speaker 8: a new house, it's a renovation, whatever it is, we
- 15:22Speaker 8: know you're going to get two, three four prices. They
- 15:25Speaker 8: just want to be one of them. Let them show
- 15:27Speaker 8: you what they can do. Go to go Tommies dot com.
- 15:31Speaker 8: By the way, Farmageddon was awesome. Oh yeah, you.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Know, sloppy, is rained a little bit, but it went once.
- 15:35Speaker 6: They kind of honed in and short everything up and
- 15:38Speaker 6: the ball was on the ground a lot.
- 15:39Speaker 5: I know that.
- 15:40Speaker 6: But first game of the year conditions weren't great. But
- 15:43Speaker 6: at least farm again lived up to the hype.
- 15:45Speaker 7: What a start. What did college football start? Is incredible?
- 15:49Speaker 6: It was like that was too like old school throwback
- 15:52Speaker 6: head head football team.
- 15:53Speaker 8: And it's even perfect, like in a terrible field. I'm on, Ireland,
- 15:57Speaker 8: what are we doing? I blame you Ireland. The whole
- 15:59Speaker 8: country also a better field.
- 16:02Speaker 2: We get some better paint in Ireland before, even before
- 16:06Speaker 2: it started raining, you could barely read that crap and
- 16:08Speaker 2: then it happened last year.
- 16:09Speaker 7: It's like that.
- 16:10Speaker 8: That's what I was gonna say. It's like the child
- 16:12Speaker 8: proof type paint. It kind of watches the ways they
- 16:14Speaker 8: follow it, like you touch it. And that's exactly right.
- 16:18Speaker 8: They were just playing on the park. Got a bad park.
- 16:21Speaker 4: That field has never been good. It hasn't like ever.
- 16:24Speaker 6: Just yeah, it's not made for for athletes that size,
- 16:30Speaker 6: you know that meant for three hundred pounders putting those
- 16:33Speaker 6: in the grass, athletic powerful quick people.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Is that a soccer thing though, because like I noticed,
- 16:38Speaker 2: like I'll watch like every time I watch soccer, like
- 16:42Speaker 2: fields faded.
- 16:43Speaker 1: It's not like crisp white lines or anything like.
- 16:46Speaker 7: That, Like oh, Taylor, it's a pitch actually it is.
- 16:48Speaker 5: Bitch Yeah, stretch actually that's what they call them.
- 16:55Speaker 8: Strip up the boots while wearing kits. Soccer is objectively dumb,
- 17:03Speaker 8: says from the guy that watches people riding bicycles for
- 17:06Speaker 8: a month long.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Everybody in the world knows how to ride a bike.
- 17:11Speaker 6: I guess everybody can't kick a soccer ball is that
- 17:14Speaker 6: as easy. It is just kick and not everybody knows
- 17:16Speaker 6: how to ride a bike.
- 17:17Speaker 7: Who doesn't.
- 17:19Speaker 5: There's plenty of.
- 17:19Speaker 8: Roy ktt didn't know. Roy Kat didn't he didn't know.
- 17:23Speaker 8: It's fair, great point soccer player can't trust them.
- 17:26Speaker 6: Like, I'm okay with you making fun of soccer if
- 17:30Speaker 6: you didn't sit there for a month and watch people
- 17:32Speaker 6: riding bikes on your laptop.
- 17:33Speaker 4: In the show during the show, I mean that that
- 17:35Speaker 4: that's it's fan.
- 17:37Speaker 6: You're making fun of kids and boots when the people
- 17:39Speaker 6: that you were watching were wearing like singlets, spandex, which
- 17:44Speaker 6: is fine because I'm not going.
- 17:46Speaker 8: But the little toddap I gotchas didn't go. Those dudes
- 17:54Speaker 8: like thousands of miles over a three week period of time.
- 17:58Speaker 8: All your guys do is fake injured m cool these
- 18:02Speaker 8: guys riding down mountains. It's only the most pocketage you
- 18:06Speaker 8: kidding me, gradial collar bones in the world.
- 18:09Speaker 6: Yeah, you're elitist. Bikes and how much of those bikes cost?
- 18:12Speaker 6: Probably a lot. Yeah, to play soccer you need a
- 18:14Speaker 6: ball and some chalk to draw some goals.
- 18:17Speaker 4: On the wall.
- 18:17Speaker 5: How much of those boots cost? You don't have to
- 18:19Speaker 5: have them?
- 18:20Speaker 8: Oh you also have to have, like, you know, hundreds
- 18:22Speaker 8: of millions of dollars to play your pay your players
- 18:25Speaker 8: that just sit there, fake injuries, kick a ball, maybe
- 18:27Speaker 8: score a goal every seventeen games.
- 18:30Speaker 7: That's fun.
- 18:31Speaker 8: Eighting devensive sport bud. Yeah, oh, Bill Mills, let's tie.
- 18:39Speaker 8: Oh good game, we tied. That was fun.
- 18:41Speaker 7: How many points could we get? One called to draw
- 18:44Speaker 7: at one point? Yep.
- 18:46Speaker 8: Hopefully you don't get relegated, at least in the bikes
- 18:49Speaker 8: that are at least racing downhills mountains.
- 18:52Speaker 6: Ever heard of the Alps. You're not going to convince
- 18:54Speaker 6: me that cycling's cooler. I'm not saying all a cycling,
- 18:57Speaker 6: just that one, just that one race.
- 19:00Speaker 5: Okay, all right, we will How do we get here?
- 19:03Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 19:04Speaker 6: Oh because the pitch, the pitch, the farm again the
- 19:08Speaker 6: great football game that you turned it into something else. Anyways,
- 19:13Speaker 6: but this seems pretty good. Both those quarterback's pretty good too.
- 19:17Speaker 6: Rock Obec. We talked about it, like the ceiling is
- 19:20Speaker 6: not incredibly incredibly high, but he and I hate it
- 19:24Speaker 6: because this player played for the same school and we
- 19:27Speaker 6: fall into these He's got like some rock party in him, though,
- 19:30Speaker 6: like he's never going to swow you. But man, he's
- 19:33Speaker 6: gonna get it done. It's going to be efficient when
- 19:36Speaker 6: the game's on the line. Like rock Obec he like
- 19:38Speaker 6: he didn't he didn't stray from the game plan, like
- 19:42Speaker 6: he didn't try to do too much. He played within
- 19:44Speaker 6: the system like it was a fun game to watch.
- 19:46Speaker 6: And then look I to Kansas State went for it
- 19:49Speaker 6: on their twenty nine.
- 19:50Speaker 5: I know that.
- 19:51Speaker 6: My boy Dusty, the void check on the call, didn't
- 19:53Speaker 6: like it. I'm like, look, you got to you got
- 19:54Speaker 6: a running quarterback, they're up three. You've gotten to the
- 19:57Speaker 6: point where you can't stop them, like I was.
- 20:00Speaker 5: They had found something.
- 20:02Speaker 1: About six and a half left.
- 20:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I even like the play call. Just the safety
- 20:07Speaker 6: made a great play. He filled the hole. He hit
- 20:10Speaker 6: your quarterback. Your quarterback fell short. They went scored. Now
- 20:14Speaker 6: you went and scored, and then you had a chance.
- 20:15Speaker 6: You still had a chance. All he had to do
- 20:16Speaker 6: was stop him. You brought pressure. I always stayed Again
- 20:19Speaker 6: their quarterback, you saw him, he was putting everybody up.
- 20:22Speaker 6: He right before the play, he says something to the back,
- 20:25Speaker 6: which I think you put him on a free release.
- 20:27Speaker 5: So they bring the pressure. Here comes a free rusher
- 20:29Speaker 5: right over his head. I'd love to see it well
- 20:32Speaker 5: down on the one.
- 20:33Speaker 6: And thankfully if you had the under, which that was
- 20:35Speaker 6: my pontoon parlay pick, he didn't score.
- 20:38Speaker 5: He got to the one.
- 20:39Speaker 8: Yeah, So that so how fitting is it that everybody's
- 20:42Speaker 8: been like dying for football to come back, and then
- 20:46Speaker 8: the first game out of the gate for college football
- 20:50Speaker 8: there's an extremely bad beat forever be so extremely So
- 20:55Speaker 8: that was like deep that like from a coaching and
- 20:57Speaker 8: a player's point of view, the absolute right thing to
- 21:00Speaker 8: do is to take a knee on the one inch line.
- 21:02Speaker 8: Like that's what you forgot the game? Any Like everybody
- 21:05Speaker 8: players score, score, score, first of all, it gets reviewed, yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 8: and it comes back no attest als. So like you
- 21:10Speaker 8: got people celebrating what what great fitting way, and it's like, hey, betters, did.
- 21:15Speaker 7: You miss it? Did you?
- 21:17Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 21:18Speaker 8: You missed that fielding So losing right at the last
- 21:20Speaker 8: minute on the pontoon parlay.
- 21:22Speaker 5: So I had that, I had the under I hit, we.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Went to and two I hit as well. I know,
- 21:26Speaker 2: Whaii plus two and or minus two and a half
- 21:28Speaker 2: they won by three.
- 21:29Speaker 5: Yep, they did. Uh you had the under in UNLV
- 21:33Speaker 5: and they went way over. Yeah, yeah, that was a
- 21:35Speaker 5: good game.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Thirty eight thirty one, which yeah, and then.
- 21:39Speaker 5: A logi at Presno State.
- 21:41Speaker 1: No, yeah, covering the thirteen and they do they.
- 21:43Speaker 5: Got blown out? Yeah okay.
- 21:45Speaker 2: And two you know if you would have stayed with
- 21:47Speaker 2: your original pick and one, Matt, I.
- 21:49Speaker 8: Know sure, although you didn't pay attention to us at all,
- 21:53Speaker 8: So I didn't pay attention to all at all. I
- 21:55Speaker 8: would mention one thing from the Kansas State game. Did
- 21:57Speaker 8: yell c Kansas State quarterback Everyon's father and older brother
- 22:02Speaker 8: get in a fist fight?
- 22:03Speaker 7: Yeah, right outside the game?
- 22:04Speaker 1: Whoa lay it in a puddle too?
- 22:06Speaker 7: A puddle nasty fight.
- 22:08Speaker 4: They were just embracing Ireland.
- 22:09Speaker 7: That's it.
- 22:10Speaker 4: I mean, that's very Irish things.
- 22:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I get it. One too many Guinness. All right,
- 22:17Speaker 6: we're longing for a break. Well, I know you can't
- 22:19Speaker 6: do that anymore. We'll take that break and when we
- 22:21Speaker 6: come back, as I mentioned, we will get now to
- 22:23Speaker 6: the New Orleans Saints their quarterback situation. How did they
- 22:26Speaker 6: look the other day against the Broncos? And we'll do
- 22:28Speaker 6: it all here on oh t.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Beat mop the bench, all right?
- 22:33Speaker 6: Go to Boudroxelectrical dot Com More power, more protection and
- 22:38Speaker 6: obviously piece of mind because the.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Golf is heating up.

- 22:45Speaker 6: and it is not too late to get that whole

- 22:57Speaker 6: contact with Boudres. They have over eight eight generators right
- 23:01Speaker 6: now in stock ready to go, So call down.
- 23:03Speaker 5: Get it installed. Bojo's Electrical dot Com.

- 23:14Speaker 8: you killed last fall and it's still in that freezer. Man,
- 23:17Speaker 8: protect your things. It is hurricane season. And like Jake say,
- 23:20Speaker 8: they are ready to roll so they can get it
- 23:23Speaker 8: installed fast. So give them a call. And if you
- 23:24Speaker 8: already have a generator, maybe you set them up for maintenance.
- 23:27Speaker 8: Go give them a check up just in case those
- 23:29Speaker 8: powering be the envy of the neighborhood.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Keep the lights on. Bodo's Electrical dot.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Com two thousand and seven, Shams purple and gold to
- 23:52Speaker 3: the core. This is off the bench with Hester and
- 23:55Speaker 3: Flynn Baton Rouge's go to for all things Louisiana sports.
- 24:17Speaker 6: All right, welcome back in OTB one four five ESPN
- 24:22Speaker 6: bet Rouge. The New Orance Saints played another preseason game
- 24:25Speaker 6: and they did not score again touchdown wise in the
- 24:28Speaker 6: first half, and they lost twenty eight to nineteen. A
- 24:34Speaker 6: little troublesome? Is it a little troublesome? It's not great,
- 24:40Speaker 6: Bob oh Man.
- 24:43Speaker 8: I'm watching that game and I'm sitting there and I'm like,
- 24:45Speaker 8: all right, I gotta I need to watch this. I
- 24:47Speaker 8: need to come up with good talking points on this
- 24:49Speaker 8: quarterback battle. And I'm sitting there, I'm watching like the
- 24:53Speaker 8: game ended. I'm like, I got nothing. I don't I
- 24:57Speaker 8: got really nothing to both quarterbacks. Fine, y'all are working there, y'all.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Y'all listen.
- 25:06Speaker 6: The quarterbacks actually are not the issue, like Flyn's been
- 25:10Speaker 6: trying to tell you, Like, am I saying that you've
- 25:12Speaker 6: got Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady.
- 25:16Speaker 5: No, I'm not.
- 25:17Speaker 6: But the operation of it is actually on schedule, like
- 25:20Speaker 6: the operation of it getting in and now the huddle,
- 25:23Speaker 6: getting the right checks, making the right read.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Like there's so much good in there.
- 25:28Speaker 6: Now. I'm not gonna sit here and lie to you
- 25:29Speaker 6: and tell you that the ceiling is incredibly high, But
- 25:31Speaker 6: I don't think the floor is is low.
- 25:34Speaker 8: As nobody knows what the ceiling really is, right, because you're.
- 25:38Speaker 7: Not gonna know, like you you aren't gonna I.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Don't think they're going to be generational.
- 25:43Speaker 6: But like, my whole point in saying that, and you're right,
- 25:46Speaker 6: but my whole point is, like, the floor is not
- 25:48Speaker 6: as low as people think.
- 25:49Speaker 5: No, Like when you watch the like just go watch
- 25:52Speaker 5: the tape.
- 25:53Speaker 6: When there's struggles with the New Orleans Saints offense, I
- 25:57Speaker 6: don't circle the quarterback position very often with the negative plays. No,
- 26:02Speaker 6: they have a real issue in the interior of their
- 26:05Speaker 6: offensive line. We've talked about it to nauseum. We've talked
- 26:09Speaker 6: about it, but it's still there and it's not going away,
- 26:13Speaker 6: and I just don't understand how it's gotten so poor.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Now.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Caesar Ruiz has always been inconsistent, but I don't see
- 26:21Speaker 6: the highs anymore. He graded out at forty seven percent
- 26:26Speaker 6: this week. You'll no look, we love to go out
- 26:30Speaker 6: here in Rhwald Dogs. In PFF grades it's what we do,
- 26:32Speaker 6: all right, So we check these often and we kind
- 26:34Speaker 6: of will go and we'll see and does it match
- 26:36Speaker 6: up with the tape ninety five percent time it does.
- 26:40Speaker 6: The tape says he played at a forty seven percent,
- 26:44Speaker 6: and we're talking about run blocking was a forty five percent.
- 26:50Speaker 6: Pass protection was a forty nine percent. So he didn't
- 26:53Speaker 6: do either one of them well. And you hate to keep,
- 26:58Speaker 6: you know, keep picking on the same player over and
- 27:00Speaker 6: over again. It's not just him, it's both guard positions.
- 27:04Speaker 6: But it's got to go so far up from where
- 27:06Speaker 6: it's at right now.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Now.
- 27:08Speaker 6: Eric McCoy, who hasn't played, played much better, and he's
- 27:11Speaker 6: maybe the best over offensive line been on the team.
- 27:14Speaker 5: I understand that, but he should be rusty. He played
- 27:17Speaker 5: better when you're a young.
- 27:19Speaker 6: Quarterback, old quarterback five minutes in or fifteen years, and
- 27:24Speaker 6: it doesn't matter. If you don't have a chance to
- 27:27Speaker 6: step up in the pocket with confidence, you're not going
- 27:31Speaker 6: to be any good. And look, I didn't play the position,
- 27:34Speaker 6: and I can tell you that because as a pass protector,
- 27:39Speaker 6: whenever there would be a linebacker through the a gap,
- 27:42Speaker 6: I knew, all right.
- 27:44Speaker 5: I don't just have to win here. I gotta dominate.
- 27:46Speaker 6: Because if I don't, I'm gonna screw the quarterback because
- 27:49Speaker 6: he's not gonna have anywhere to step up. If I've
- 27:51Speaker 6: got pressure from the outside, I can find a way
- 27:54Speaker 6: to get a throw off. If I've got pressure right
- 27:56Speaker 6: now through the A and B gaps, I've gotten nowhere
- 27:59Speaker 6: to go. It doesn't matter if you're Lamar Jackson or
- 28:02Speaker 6: if you're Peyton Maning. It doesn't matter how athletic you are,
- 28:06Speaker 6: and time and time again, and this isn't just in
- 28:08Speaker 6: the passing. I'm talking about when you're running the football
- 28:10Speaker 6: as well. If a guy comes off the edge, maybe
- 28:13Speaker 6: I have a chance. Maybe I can make you miss
- 28:15Speaker 6: and I can bounce it to the outside. Again, even
- 28:17Speaker 6: running the football, if I've got pressure right now in
- 28:20Speaker 6: the middle of the defense, where am I supposed to go?
- 28:24Speaker 6: If the guy is doing his job containing on the
- 28:27Speaker 6: edge and I've got immediate pressure from the A and
- 28:30Speaker 6: B gaps, what am I supposed to do? And so
- 28:32Speaker 6: that's why I say, like when you watch the tape,
- 28:34Speaker 6: the quarterbacks actually are doing everything they're supposed to be
- 28:38Speaker 6: doing as far as keeping the team on schedule, the
- 28:40Speaker 6: operation of the offense actually has been better than I
- 28:43Speaker 6: thought it would be. But if they continue to give
- 28:47Speaker 6: up what they're giving up currently in the middle of
- 28:51Speaker 6: their offense to the defense, they are not going to
- 28:54Speaker 6: be successful and flyint. It's it's so frustrating because you're
- 28:58Speaker 6: talking about a first round pick guy that you extended,
- 29:02Speaker 6: a guy's had peaks and valleys, but now those peaks
- 29:06Speaker 6: are gone and he's living in the valley.
- 29:08Speaker 7: Yeah, And.
- 29:10Speaker 8: I guess unfortunately for Saints fan likes as far as
- 29:14Speaker 8: like shaping this roster, there's so many injuries as well,
- 29:18Speaker 8: like he's not going anywhere, Like they're like you, you're
- 29:21Speaker 8: kind of stuck with what you got.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Trevor Penning's not even in, so you're to your third
- 29:25Speaker 5: guard on the left.
- 29:26Speaker 8: So you're you're you're going to have to bring some
- 29:28Speaker 8: people in, and you're gonna have to bring a couple
- 29:30Speaker 8: of bodies in that are gonna be released from other teams.
- 29:32Speaker 7: And that's that's how the NFL works. It happens all
- 29:34Speaker 7: the time.
- 29:35Speaker 8: And it's not not to say you're not gonna get
- 29:36Speaker 8: somebody good or can be inserted and fit in right away,
- 29:40Speaker 8: because you'll probably get somebody good and you probably can.
- 29:42Speaker 8: You're gonna get some young up and comers, or you're
- 29:43Speaker 8: gonna get some guys that have had really good careers
- 29:46Speaker 8: that are a little bit older. But you're gonna have
- 29:48Speaker 8: to fill in some gaps on these injuries. And with
- 29:51Speaker 8: the people that are playing right now, there's probably not
- 29:53Speaker 8: many guys going anywhere because of just the strict numbers,
- 29:56Speaker 8: so they're going to have to get better on.
- 29:59Speaker 7: The fly.
- 30:00Speaker 8: Or as a play caller, play designer, offensive coordinator, like
- 30:04Speaker 8: you're gonna have to be great. But I'm watching these
- 30:07Speaker 8: games and it's quarterbacks. The big talk, because who is
- 30:10Speaker 8: it going to be? Is you're talking about one of
- 30:12Speaker 8: thirty two NFL starters that haven't been named, the only
- 30:16Speaker 8: team that hasn't named one, and we're talking about an
- 30:18Speaker 8: NFL starting quarterback and we haven't named one. And I'm
- 30:21Speaker 8: sitting there and I'm trying to watch, and I'm trying
- 30:23Speaker 8: to grade, and I'm trying to like find any good
- 30:26Speaker 8: nuggets to tell people, and I'm like, I got nothing.
- 30:28Speaker 8: Like I'm watching these games and it's a big nothing
- 30:31Speaker 8: burger for me watching the quarterbacks and trying to make
- 30:33Speaker 8: a decision because they're both going through their reads, they're
- 30:38Speaker 8: throwing it to the right person, they're making for the
- 30:40Speaker 8: most part, accurate throws. There's just no like, there's no
- 30:44Speaker 8: amazing moment that neither one of them had a moment.
- 30:48Speaker 8: It's like, oh my god, that's incredible. But in a
- 30:50Speaker 8: game and in preseason, you're not gonna get that. You're
- 30:53Speaker 8: not going to know a guy as a dude until
- 30:57Speaker 8: the fourth quarter of the first game or maybe the
- 30:59Speaker 8: second game.
- 30:59Speaker 7: Maybe their game.
- 31:00Speaker 8: How do they play when the nuts are on the line, Like,
- 31:04Speaker 8: how do they play when the game is there and
- 31:06Speaker 8: you have to make a play.
- 31:07Speaker 7: A guy's got to show out.
- 31:09Speaker 8: So like they have done everything that has been asked
- 31:11Speaker 8: to them, like they maybe maybe if Spencer Rattler hits
- 31:17Speaker 8: that skinny post off the off the play action, maybe
- 31:20Speaker 8: it's an RPM, the little five step, uh, skinny slant
- 31:23Speaker 8: glance route, bangate, whatever you want to call it. If
- 31:26Speaker 8: he hits that, maybe that's the Maybe that throw gets
- 31:28Speaker 8: him the starting node for week one. If he just
- 31:30Speaker 8: hits out on what men and yeah, he sure still
- 31:33Speaker 8: should have made the catch, but he should have made
- 31:34Speaker 8: a better throw. Then you look, Chuck, he played well,
- 31:37Speaker 8: but he made some bad throws.
- 31:38Speaker 7: Too.
- 31:38Speaker 8: Like it's just there was no knockout blow by either
- 31:42Speaker 8: one of them. And that's okay because they they still
- 31:45Speaker 8: played within the offense. They played within the system, and
- 31:47Speaker 8: they played fine like they're they didn't play.
- 31:51Speaker 5: That is actually a good word.
- 31:53Speaker 8: But like what the the way the protection was. But
- 31:58Speaker 8: like the play calling too, we weren't. We weren't pushing,
- 32:00Speaker 8: We weren't throwing punches out there from play like some
- 32:03Speaker 8: some guys like to go out there with their starting
- 32:05Speaker 8: off as play callers and some head coaches philosophy, I'm
- 32:09Speaker 8: gonna go with through my starters and I'm gonna try
- 32:11Speaker 8: to play. I'm gonna try to hit some deep passes
- 32:13Speaker 8: because i want my starters out of there, so we're
- 32:15Speaker 8: either gonna score quick or we're gonna or we're gonna
- 32:17Speaker 8: punt and I'm gonna get my starters out.
- 32:18Speaker 7: We didn't do that.
- 32:19Speaker 8: We tried to work our offense and try to do
- 32:21Speaker 8: try to run as much as we can and get
- 32:23Speaker 8: improvement with the offensive line, hit smaller passes, let them
- 32:26Speaker 8: work through these checkdowns. It just wasn't any pushing the
- 32:30Speaker 8: ball down the field, which is what again it's fine too,
- 32:32Speaker 8: just everything about the quarterback bat up has been fine.
- 32:35Speaker 8: Now you have to make a decision and you got
- 32:37Speaker 8: a roll. So we've been saying that we think Spencer
- 32:41Speaker 8: from experience has got but in all honesty, with the
- 32:44Speaker 8: offensive line play that we've seen, you're gonna need both
- 32:47Speaker 8: these quarterbacks to play well at times this year. Just gonna,
- 32:50Speaker 8: I mean, it's just factual.
- 32:51Speaker 7: Yeah, get your.
- 32:54Speaker 5: Mind right, Jake and so.
- 32:58Speaker 6: And we got some some chatter in the chat that actually, like,
- 33:00Speaker 6: I agree with what you're saying, because I do think
- 33:04Speaker 6: Tyler Shuck does have like probably the higher ceiling of
- 33:08Speaker 6: what he can do.
- 33:09Speaker 7: Maybe based don't what I mean. I think they both
- 33:12Speaker 7: have highs ceilings.
- 33:13Speaker 8: Like, they both can run, they both have both they
- 33:16Speaker 8: both spin it well, like like look look at the staffs.
- 33:19Speaker 6: I guess probably just because of where he was drafted in.
- 33:22Speaker 6: Looks the height in the arm.
- 33:25Speaker 5: I get that.
- 33:26Speaker 6: But here's why I've been saying Spencer Ratler is your
- 33:29Speaker 6: starting quarterback because it's going to be so off schedule
- 33:34Speaker 6: with what you have in front of you. And I
- 33:37Speaker 6: think for this probably is not fair to Tyler Shuck
- 33:39Speaker 6: because I feel like it's been a very even battle.
- 33:42Speaker 6: But because Spencer Rattler makes better plays when he's off
- 33:45Speaker 6: schedule compared to Tyler Shuck. He might get the starting
- 33:48Speaker 6: job because of that, because look, Spencer Raller dealt with
- 33:52Speaker 6: this when he was at South Carolina like he was
- 33:54Speaker 6: running for his life, but still would light it up.
- 33:57Speaker 5: I just don't think you're going to get clean pockets
- 34:00Speaker 5: very often.
- 34:01Speaker 6: I think there's going to be chaos, and I think
- 34:04Speaker 6: with that, Spencer Rattler gives you the best opportunity because
- 34:07Speaker 6: he does make plays when he's got to improvise back
- 34:10Speaker 6: there when he doesn't have a clean pocket, better than
- 34:13Speaker 6: Tyler Shuk right now. So again it's probably not fair
- 34:15Speaker 6: to Tyler Shuck, But in a position battle that's as
- 34:18Speaker 6: close as this one is, what's going to be the
- 34:20Speaker 6: deciding factor. If I was naming a starting quarterback, it
- 34:23Speaker 6: would be the off schedule plays at Spencer Ratler can
- 34:26Speaker 6: make because you're going to live off schedule.
- 34:28Speaker 8: Tyler Shutt sixty seven percent completion three hundred and thirty
- 34:31Speaker 8: three yards, Spencer Rattler seventy percent completion two hundred ninety
- 34:34Speaker 8: five yards. Shuck one TD one interception, Rattler one TD
- 34:38Speaker 8: one interception. Decide YEP I'm going Rattler. I'm going Ratlery too,
- 34:46Speaker 8: going to rat that you need him both.
- 34:49Speaker 5: I really like.
- 34:50Speaker 6: I hate that it's true, I think that, but I
- 34:52Speaker 6: do think they're both going to have to play. Yeah,
- 34:54Speaker 6: for sure, Musso starting quarterback.
- 34:57Speaker 5: For the Saints.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Yeah, No, I think it's Spencer Ratler as well.
- 35:00Speaker 9: I mean, he's getting the third preseason start. I think
- 35:03Speaker 9: that actually does mean something. He looks like. We'll really
- 35:07Speaker 9: get our answer this week when they start to get
- 35:09Speaker 9: back out there where the first team reps go. But
- 35:11Speaker 9: I mean it's not a lot of experience, but he's
- 35:14Speaker 9: got more experience. So I think for the first game,
- 35:16Speaker 9: you're gonna run him out there solely on that and
- 35:19Speaker 9: we'll see what you got.
- 35:20Speaker 4: I mean, Flynn, you.
- 35:21Speaker 9: Were talking about it before the show, before we came
- 35:23Speaker 9: on air, that the stats being similar, you just rattled
- 35:25Speaker 9: some of them off their I went and looked at
- 35:26Speaker 9: him as well, and they each led five scoring drives
- 35:28Speaker 9: Like it's it's it's they're the same player. They've they've
- 35:32Speaker 9: done the exact same thing. So I guess give me
- 35:34Speaker 9: the guy who's got a touch more experience in the NFL.
- 35:38Speaker 5: Hee.
- 35:40Speaker 1: I don't want to be boring.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I'll go rather for kind of what Yeah, y'all ain't
- 35:48Speaker 2: talking about No, I mean, I think missus right, I
- 35:51Speaker 2: mean I think starting the.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Third preseason game.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Because look, we've had a few guests on this show
- 35:55Speaker 2: that have said, well, it's very evident that Kellen Moore
- 36:00Speaker 2: wants Tyler Shark to start, which is.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Why you put him in there for the two minute
- 36:04Speaker 1: drill and everything.
- 36:05Speaker 2: My thing is, Okay, if they wanted him to start,
- 36:07Speaker 2: why the hell didn't he start on Sunday or Saturday
- 36:09Speaker 2: or whenever? It was like Spencer Ratler started two out
- 36:13Speaker 2: of three of these games. He's worked with the Ones
- 36:15Speaker 2: a lot more in preseason. Like, to me, yeah, it's
- 36:18Speaker 2: not like he's outperformed Tyler Shuker been worse than Tyler Shuck.
- 36:21Speaker 2: But when I look at who has the most experienced
- 36:23Speaker 2: who's played with the Ones a lot more in preseason,
- 36:26Speaker 2: it kind of leans towards Spencer Rattler.
- 36:28Speaker 8: Rap back, oh man, and if it's not good, let's
- 36:35Speaker 8: go to the shuck druck.
- 36:38Speaker 6: I don't think anybody gives a shuck though. It's guys,
- 36:43Speaker 6: it's it's I don't know, I'm hoping to be surprised.
- 36:48Speaker 5: But right now.
- 36:51Speaker 6: It's just it's very vanilla and you haven't seen a
- 36:55Speaker 6: lot of different looks. Now, we know Keller Moore is
- 36:59Speaker 6: going to give you that. He's got a track record
- 37:01Speaker 6: of doing it in Dallas, in la in Philly. But
- 37:06Speaker 6: like right now watching the preseason, I get it. I
- 37:08Speaker 6: get while you're upset. I get why. You know there's questions,
- 37:11Speaker 6: there's concerns, Like, I totally understand it.
- 37:13Speaker 5: So h yeah, we gotta go to break.
- 37:16Speaker 7: Yeah, they're gonna be fine.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Just whatever person wants to hear you look fine, not bad.
- 37:22Speaker 5: Morrow to be on the other side off the bench,
- 37:26Speaker 5: all right, good, all star. Toyota vatrouge dot com.
- 37:28Speaker 6: If you're buying new, if you're leasing, if you're renting,
- 37:30Speaker 6: they are the one stop shop rentals. If you're going
- 37:33Speaker 6: to watch the Tigers play this Saturday and you're like, man,
- 37:35Speaker 6: I am trying to fit all of this tailgating equipment
- 37:38Speaker 6: in our current vehicle. It just will not fit. We'll
- 37:40Speaker 6: go rent a Toyota. You can drive it up to Clemson,
- 37:42Speaker 6: South Carolina, and you can get a Tundra, a Tacoma,
- 37:45Speaker 6: a Sequoia, everything that they offer in new and leasing.
- 37:49Speaker 6: They offer in the rental department per day rental prices
- 37:52Speaker 6: much better than you're going to get at those big
- 37:54Speaker 6: rental places. You got to drive to the airport to
- 37:56Speaker 6: go pick up your vehicle, right and you get like
- 37:58Speaker 6: three options to choose from. Not the case over at
- 38:00Speaker 6: all Star, every single vehicle is available All Star toilet
- 38:03Speaker 6: venders dot com.
- 38:04Speaker 7: Yeah, whether it's new vehicles, used vehicles.
- 38:06Speaker 8: Like Jake said, the rental vehicles actually literally the best
- 38:09Speaker 8: rental prices you can get. And you can choose any
- 38:11Speaker 8: car on the lot. So if it's just time for
- 38:13Speaker 8: something new you're driving around, you're all right, I need
- 38:16Speaker 8: an upgrade, mate, make it a Toyota and get it
- 38:18Speaker 8: from All Star. They can go see anything they have
- 38:21Speaker 8: on the lot right there on their website. Go visit
- 38:23Speaker 8: them right now, All Star to to Btonrouge dot com.
- 38:29Speaker 10: So, like Collas, I'll spill on these plats as long
- 38:32Speaker 10: as you fill them to the tape that I tripped,
- 38:33Speaker 10: You'll never say that I'm not killing them because when
- 38:36Speaker 10: I am not, I'm gonna stop hitting the man. I
- 38:39Speaker 10: am not pop and I'm just not kimming them subliminal thoughts.
- 38:42Speaker 10: When I'm gonna stop spending them. Women are pouring west spinning.
- 38:48Speaker 5: Could not get all right, welcome back you o TV.
- 38:51Speaker 6: One of four five y s fan banderies. This was
- 38:53Speaker 6: on the playlift for me. This was one of them.
- 38:57Speaker 6: To go west here, well done, moose.
- 39:00Speaker 7: This was not on mine. This might have been one
- 39:01Speaker 7: of those ones that'd get me a little too high.
- 39:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:03Speaker 6: I get like you're worried about being, you know, precision passer.
- 39:07Speaker 5: I'm worried about going to hit the wedge on the
- 39:08Speaker 5: first play.
- 39:09Speaker 7: You know, that's a good point.
- 39:10Speaker 6: Yeah, back in the day, there was a before they
- 39:13Speaker 6: outlawed the wedge in the NFL. Well, now you can
- 39:15Speaker 6: have a two man wedge, but you still you could
- 39:17Speaker 6: have as many as you wanted to. And the Kansas
- 39:19Speaker 6: City Chiefs had four linemen either offense or defensive linemen
- 39:23Speaker 6: in their wedge.
- 39:23Speaker 5: And I was the l five YEP and you just
- 39:25Speaker 5: kind of.
- 39:25Speaker 6: Look up and you're like, call that a wedge buster.
- 39:28Speaker 6: You're kind of making counts. You're like, yeah, that's gonna
- 39:32Speaker 6: be me. And then you just like Kma Kazi style,
- 39:35Speaker 6: just go ahead and you take out the wedge and
- 39:36Speaker 6: hope you're your pottings make the play.
- 39:39Speaker 8: Yeah, that's pretty much like if you're a fullback on
- 39:41Speaker 8: any roster or a backup linebacker, like it shouldn't the
- 39:46Speaker 8: program should say FB slash WB.
- 39:49Speaker 7: For wedge buster. That's your job. Yeah, ct.
- 39:59Speaker 6: Oh, and the Chiefs used to be the worst because
- 40:02Speaker 6: they were they were bad at the time. It's before
- 40:04Speaker 6: you know Mahomes and Brody Kroyle was the starting quarterback. Uh,
- 40:08Speaker 6: and then they had Tyler Thigpen, they had Warren Hewart's
- 40:12Speaker 6: dam Brody could spin it. Now he could spin it,
- 40:16Speaker 6: but he just the whole team didn't have a lot.
- 40:18Speaker 6: I mean, he just to throw it up to Debo
- 40:20Speaker 6: and Deebo gonna make a play, but it was one
- 40:24Speaker 6: of them. But man, they had a good special teams
- 40:28Speaker 6: like that's what that probably was their problem and not
- 40:30Speaker 6: not trying to be funny. Their whole team was made
- 40:31Speaker 6: up of like elite special teamers, you know what I mean,
- 40:34Speaker 6: like the linebackers that were really good at special teams,
- 40:36Speaker 6: but not like defensive football.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Was that Dante hall oh go.
- 40:43Speaker 6: After it might have been Jamal Charles might have been
- 40:45Speaker 6: the returner because he he hatting won the running back
- 40:48Speaker 6: spot just yet. Yeah, because Jamal Charles like even like
- 40:51Speaker 6: year two or three in our career. We're the same class.
- 40:54Speaker 6: He was playing wing on punt. That was not very
- 41:00Speaker 6: fun trying to chase him, although he did block a
- 41:03Speaker 6: pun on him. I don't know how we got there,
- 41:06Speaker 6: but yeah, we're in chiefs. Yeah, Brodie Croyle swoop air.
- 41:13Speaker 6: What do you think Brodie Croyle is doing like right
- 41:15Speaker 6: now for a living insurance? I went into commercial real estate.
- 41:20Speaker 6: I was going to say real estate. He gives me
- 41:22Speaker 6: real estate vibes. Yeah, whatever he's doing, he's crushing it.
- 41:28Speaker 5: Has to.
- 41:28Speaker 8: Does he give you a little Derek Dooley vibe? Yeah,
- 41:31Speaker 8: because Derek Good. We always said it, Yeah, we always
- 41:34Speaker 8: said that he was a politician.
- 41:36Speaker 5: Said he was going to be a politician.
- 41:37Speaker 7: And what's he doing now?
- 41:39Speaker 5: Running senate? Right?
- 41:40Speaker 8: I think he's running for senate in Georgia. So he
- 41:43Speaker 8: is an actual politician. I mean he just he walked
- 41:46Speaker 8: like it, he spoke like it. He was he was
- 41:52Speaker 8: a politician. Coaching football, yeah, I mean, look, he worked hard.
- 41:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 41:58Speaker 6: But like going from from that to Larry Porter, who
- 42:02Speaker 6: had played at a very high level at running back
- 42:04Speaker 6: in college at Memphis, it was completely completely different. Because
- 42:08Speaker 6: Duley was our running back coach, and then we went
- 42:10Speaker 6: to Larry Porter. It's like, okay, yeah, it's a little different.
- 42:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 42:13Speaker 8: So he's running twenty twenty six Republican bid for US
- 42:16Speaker 8: Senate in Jelja, and we all know he can't scout
- 42:22Speaker 8: quarterbacks either, certainly one with fat ankles. I remember him
- 42:27Speaker 8: there at that Nike camp too, watching me, and then
- 42:30Speaker 8: I didn't know that he reported back to Nick Saban
- 42:32Speaker 8: and Jima Fisher that I had fat ankles and I
- 42:35Speaker 8: couldn't do it.
- 42:37Speaker 5: How about that that sting? A little bit.
- 42:41Speaker 6: He worked out for you, But like for Duly to
- 42:42Speaker 6: almost run your life because of my strong ankles, because
- 42:46Speaker 6: of your cankles, like your cankles almost.
- 42:48Speaker 5: Run your entire life. So it was nice. Where does
- 42:53Speaker 5: the calf end in the ankle begin?
- 42:55Speaker 7: There's clearly a calf there, there is.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Here, there's a the ankle we're worried about. All right,
- 43:04Speaker 5: we gotta go to break.
- 43:05Speaker 6: Don't body shame me more OTB when we come back
- 43:07Speaker 6: one O four five ESPN.

- 46:20Speaker 6: yards in the blink of an eye. So I'll go
- 46:22Speaker 6: over sheet you heed as well. So there we did
- 46:24Speaker 6: it positive New Orleans Saints talk. I think we did
- 46:28Speaker 6: it now, saying that I don't know how positive it's
