- 0:00Speaker 1: Amal and I is part of the Oddpods Media Network.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Hey, everybody. What's up?
- 0:27Speaker 3: This is a podcast you made it good job you
- 0:30Speaker 3: found us you.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Found us on the internet you clicked play.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Welcome to on the lanai everybody we have a guest
- 0:38Speaker 3: with us today this has been uh four seasons in
- 0:41Speaker 3: the making i could not be more pumped uh some
- 0:44Speaker 3: of you may know this person as timmy but uh
- 0:49Speaker 3: we just call him tim and we love him hello
- 0:53Speaker 3: how are you welcome welcome.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Hi Thanks, guys. Thanks for having me. Pleasure to be here.
- 1:00Speaker 5: Yes, Timmy is, if you're a Ralph Report follower, which
- 1:03Speaker 5: I take it many of your listeners are, yeah, that's
- 1:08Speaker 5: my handle. Although someone used the name Timmy in vain
- 1:17Speaker 5: and I got real mad and emailed Ralph about it
- 1:19Speaker 5: and was like, dude, this is not cool. I don't
- 1:22Speaker 5: have much on this site.
- 1:25Speaker 2: But I'm really impressed. That was my thing. That was
- 1:27Speaker 2: my story.
- 1:28Speaker 5: That's how I got my little piece of identity on
- 1:31Speaker 5: this thing. So please don't let anyone else steal it because, yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 5: that pissed me off.
- 1:37Speaker 4: And what was the response?
- 1:39Speaker 5: Yeah, he emailed me back. He's like, yep, totally understand
- 1:41Speaker 5: where you're coming from. Yeah, that's cool. Wasn't trying to
- 1:47Speaker 5: shit on your thing or anything like that. He did
- 1:49Speaker 5: the Timmy thing when the guy emailed us, Timmy, which, yeah.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So Ralph went, and I was.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Like, I think he just likes saying it. It's just
- 1:58Speaker 4: funny to say.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah. But I kind of feel like it's stolen. I
- 2:02Speaker 2: was going to say stolen valor. I was going to
- 2:05Speaker 2: say stolen valor. And then I was like, nah.
- 2:07Speaker 4: You know, cause you're the character on South Park that
- 2:09Speaker 4: came from.
- 2:09Speaker 2: And stolen valor is like a real shitty thing to do.
- 2:15Speaker 5: So like, uh, I'm not trying to compare myself to
- 2:19Speaker 5: a war veteran.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Or anything like that. Non-military stolen valor.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 2: It's basically the same thing, right?
- 2:27Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Oh, shit.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I think this is fine because this is how we
- 2:33Speaker 3: came into this before we were recording because I said
- 2:37Speaker 3: that you and your beautiful wife are one of my
- 2:40Speaker 3: many non-sexual throuples that I'm a part of. That I
- 2:46Speaker 3: have these, like, fun, flirty couple friendships.
- 2:48Speaker 2: That I have.
- 2:49Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Non-sexual Australian flirty throuple.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that might have been how I said it the
- 2:55Speaker 3: first time. But, yeah, I was trying to explain the dynamic. That, like,
- 2:58Speaker 3: I'm not just obsessed with you. Like, that your wife
- 3:01Speaker 3: is a beautiful woman and so kind and lovely.
- 3:05Speaker 5: And you have an open invitation to come to our
- 3:07Speaker 5: place and visit any time.
- 3:09Speaker 2: So, yeah.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Maybe it's more than flirty.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Look, I look like I'm melting naked. I never assume
- 3:20Speaker 3: that a couple is hitting on me in that way.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I assume they're like, that girl's funny. We want her
- 3:25Speaker 3: to tell a story.
- 3:30Speaker 5: I'm just very happy that we had the chance to
- 3:33Speaker 5: meet in person, Erin, because that was a big highlight
- 3:36Speaker 5: of our trip to America many, many, many, well, six
- 3:41Speaker 5: years ago now.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 3: It's been a while.
- 3:45Speaker 4: When was that?
- 3:46Speaker 2: Just before COVID. Colton was there too.
- 3:48Speaker 3: He was a baby.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Oh, before COVID.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Yeah, 2019.
- 3:52Speaker 5: We literally were traveling around America as it was all
- 3:55Speaker 5: starting to unfold before everyone really knew what it was.
- 3:58Speaker 5: And we were at the New Year's doubleheader of Ralph
- 4:01Speaker 5: Report and Babylon.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Good thing you got home. You might have been locked in.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Well, it didn't really obviously kick off until March was
- 4:12Speaker 5: when it really started to do it. But when you
- 4:14Speaker 5: started hearing that, when they started figuring out all the
- 4:17Speaker 5: what nots and said it was going through America in December.
- 4:20Speaker 2: We were like, okay, that was crazy.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Was it Australia that locked down or New Zealand?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. We got pretty, pretty locked down.
- 4:30Speaker 5: I personally actually never got locked down through the whole thing.
- 4:33Speaker 5: It was the craziest thing because, um, my job, my business,
- 4:37Speaker 5: I was actually went, I was in Melbourne when that happened.
- 4:40Speaker 5: And even though Melbourne actually had the hardest lockdowns of
- 4:42Speaker 5: anywhere in the country, because I was considered an essential service, um,
- 4:47Speaker 5: And I should say for your podcast, I do hail
- 4:50Speaker 5: damage repairs on vehicles.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Yeah, if you're in Australia, call them.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely. If you're in Adelaide, yeah, Melbourne, Sydney is
- 4:59Speaker 2: a bit far. But if you're in Adelaide, Dent Revolution,
- 5:02Speaker 2: by all means, hit us up. Free plug.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Yeah, and so, yeah, because I was an essential service,
- 5:10Speaker 5: I never got locked down.
- 5:13Speaker 2: So I was basically going to work every day. I
- 5:14Speaker 2: was kind of like actually a little bit mad about it.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I was like– I was looking forward to having some
- 5:19Speaker 2: time off or whatever. I did have one week of
- 5:21Speaker 2: lockdown when I got back to Adelaide, but otherwise, yeah,
- 5:25Speaker 2: went through it. So I'm glad we did it at
- 5:28Speaker 2: the time and it was a good trip. So, yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 3: It was one of my favorite evenings at the Improv
- 5:37Speaker 3: with that group of people. It was just such a
- 5:41Speaker 3: special night. Colton was there and he had a little
- 5:43Speaker 3: tie on. It was so cute.
- 5:46Speaker 2: And Tracy got mega wasted.
- 5:48Speaker 1: He's a senior in high school now.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Yeah, he was like going to university next year.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Yeah. It's just wild.
- 6:00Speaker 4: He's like big as Eddie now.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a unit. He's a unit. He's a unit.
- 6:09Speaker 3: We've talked about this before, but not with you, Tim.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Colton and Eddie came and met my parents and I
- 6:16Speaker 3: at Christmastime. Oh, wow. when we were in California, we
- 6:21Speaker 3: did like Universal Studios and Disney and stuff. And they
- 6:26Speaker 3: came in and met us. And my mom, who had
- 6:28Speaker 3: only ever seen pictures of Colton and mostly at Disneyland
- 6:31Speaker 3: or like he was seated or at a comedy club,
- 6:34Speaker 3: was like, Jesus Christ, that was a kid in like
- 6:36Speaker 3: a picture I just saw. And he's like as tall
- 6:39Speaker 3: as Eddie and taller than all of us. And I
- 6:41Speaker 3: was like, yes, yes. And such a well-spoken young man.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Someday we'll get him. Yeah, he seems like him. on
- 6:48Speaker 3: here but you know football is.
- 6:50Speaker 5: Hard yeah seems like he's got a bit of a
- 6:55Speaker 5: something to him there yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 3: I don't know what a scrimmage is outside of like
- 7:00Speaker 3: when they say that while I'm watching TV but for
- 7:02Speaker 3: sure he had some sort of scrimmage shit on a
- 7:04Speaker 3: Saturday one time I don't know.
- 7:06Speaker 8: Yeah that's where they you play against each other but
- 7:09Speaker 8: you're the same team got it okay sports sports do
- 7:16Speaker 8: you like sports.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Tim Yeah, yeah.
- 7:19Speaker 5: I'm a bit more of a Formula One fan than
- 7:24Speaker 5: I am.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my jam. Used to be into UFC before.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Oh, beat the shit out of each other.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, like it was never really about the violence.
- 7:38Speaker 5: It was very much the tactical nature of it, which
- 7:42Speaker 5: I know it sounds weird, but I like the real-time strategy.
- 7:45Speaker 5: So more like I would sort of say it's like
- 7:47Speaker 5: real-time chess or something like that. But given the politicization
- 7:52Speaker 5: of the sport, that's gone off the boil for me.
- 7:55Speaker 2: So, yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 3: It's like Fight Club, right?
- 7:58Speaker 2: Formula 1.
- 8:00Speaker 4: It's a grown-up fight club, yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 3: It's a grown-up fight club.
- 8:03Speaker 4: For money.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Yeah, besides boxing and a lot of martial arts.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but there's strategy to boxing, right?
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah. There's strategy to UFC, too.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Yeah, kind of fighting and wrestling, right?
- 8:16Speaker 9: Because of every different type of martial art, you can
- 8:21Speaker 9: have specialized people in different skill sets that have to
- 8:25Speaker 9: counter other skill sets, right? it isn't a free-for-all but
- 8:30Speaker 9: yeah I do understand the you know the reasons why
- 8:37Speaker 9: people are not fans of it and it's not everyone's
- 8:40Speaker 9: cup of tea so but yes Formula One is my
- 8:43Speaker 9: number one sport cricket pretty close second so yes a
- 8:47Speaker 9: little bit of sport yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Now do they I'm ignorant on this do they have
- 8:53Speaker 1: like the live cricket matches and stuff like you.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Can't watch them ever they're not open to the public.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I've never seen like an aired cricket match i've seen
- 9:04Speaker 1: you know rugby and footy and stuff like that.
- 9:07Speaker 4: No they must be yeah i've seen online clips sure yeah.
- 9:10Speaker 5: I mean definitely like obviously not in america or the u.s
- 9:14Speaker 5: um i'm mindful of saying america because i've been told
- 9:18Speaker 5: it's America it's the US not America because.
- 9:22Speaker 2: America plus the whole continent.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Everyone hates Trump is that why that's why we have
- 9:27Speaker 3: to distinguish that.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Now I've never been upset if you call it either
- 9:30Speaker 4: one I don't and then the United States of America
- 9:34Speaker 4: like who.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Cares that's because we're in the US I think it's
- 9:36Speaker 1: Canada and Mexico.
- 9:38Speaker 3: That don't like it Canada and Mexico don't want to
- 9:41Speaker 3: be associated with our country.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Oh because they're North America because I'm our president well
- 9:46Speaker 4: that's fair.
- 9:48Speaker 3: It was fine when we were the Americas, right? But
- 9:51Speaker 3: now it's Trump land and the.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Rest of the Americas. Yeah. Anyway, yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Call it whatever you want.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Like.
- 10:00Speaker 5: Yeah, so cricket is massive. It's one of the biggest
- 10:03Speaker 5: sports in the world. I mean, it's the biggest sport in.
- 10:07Speaker 2: India and Australia, England.
- 10:11Speaker 5: They play in a straight line, it looks like.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah that's right yeah yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Um there's a bluey episode about cricket yeah so we
- 10:20Speaker 3: kind of understand if you.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Could put in terms of bluey we get it yeah
- 10:26Speaker 4: we got.
- 10:27Speaker 5: It look that's that was legit like that's how we
- 10:31Speaker 5: used to grow up playing um Backyard Cricket and stuff
- 10:34Speaker 5: like that, for sure.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So that, I mean, Bluey's just the best. I mean,
- 10:38Speaker 2: how can you not love Bluey? I mean, honestly.
- 10:41Speaker 5: When you guys finish this podcast, once you finish the
- 10:44Speaker 5: Golden Girls, you should.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Be doing Bluey next.
- 10:46Speaker 3: We're supposed to be doing Bluey.
- 10:47Speaker 4: We've tried, but we got a little delayed.
- 10:50Speaker 3: But we'll get there.
- 10:53Speaker 2: There you go.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I just didn't have the bandwidth to edit another show
- 10:58Speaker 3: at the time.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Be on the lookout. We'll get back to you.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I mean, I'll come back on this one again, but too,
- 11:06Speaker 2: but when you do Bluey, 100%.
- 11:08Speaker 4: You're totally invited for Bluey.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah. I haven't watched that.
- 11:12Speaker 4: He can be our band.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah. I haven't really watched. I mean, I've watched some
- 11:17Speaker 2: episodes of Golden Girls. I can't say I've watched the
- 11:18Speaker 2: whole series from start to finish, but I am a fan.
- 11:22Speaker 3: You can't stay. Get out.
- 11:24Speaker 2: No.
- 11:25Speaker 3: It's fine.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Yeah, like I said, like when Erin asked me to
- 11:29Speaker 5: come on, we were literally like my wife, Cindy, watches
- 11:35Speaker 5: TV before we go to sleep.
- 11:37Speaker 2: And usually the main one is MASH. It is her
- 11:41Speaker 2: favourite TV show of all time.
- 11:44Speaker 5: But when she runs out of that, then she'll move
- 11:47Speaker 5: on to something else for a while and then eventually
- 11:49Speaker 5: go back to it.
- 11:49Speaker 2: But one of those shows was The Golden Girls. So
- 11:51Speaker 2: it went great. I first got asked. I was like, yeah, yeah,
- 11:53Speaker 2: we're watching it right now. And then we've now moved on. But, yeah.
- 12:02Speaker 4: So maybe you've seen this one.
- 12:03Speaker 10: Who knows?
- 12:05Speaker 5: Yeah. I did cheat. Well, I listened to your last episode. Oh, well,
- 12:11Speaker 5: that's fine.
- 12:13Speaker 9: I wanted a taste of what was going to happen
- 12:15Speaker 9: and how it was all going to work.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:19Speaker 3: The strict hazing that happens to all new guests on
- 12:23Speaker 3: the Lanai. That's your word.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Our last one was with Aaron, so we were probably
- 12:28Speaker 4: giving him tons of shit.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, truth be told, I don't want to give him.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I haven't heard that one. I heard Smokey's one. Oh, Smokey's. Oh, yeah.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Well, then it was silly.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that's silly and fun. No, we ended up having
- 12:44Speaker 3: a four-episode arc for Boy Aaron. because um oh when
- 12:50Speaker 3: we had to shift stuff around and i think you
- 12:52Speaker 3: weren't available last weekend i was like get on here
- 12:56Speaker 3: and so he came on so he was on for
- 12:58Speaker 3: four in a row so even though today is this
- 13:00Speaker 3: a stand yeah you're getting a stand you're you're substitute
- 13:03Speaker 3: usually our stand you're our substitute hi it's me so
- 13:06Speaker 3: you have to say hi it's me yeah um i
- 13:10Speaker 3: i texted him yesterday and i was like don't come
- 13:12Speaker 3: on our show i have a better test i don't
- 13:15Speaker 3: want to diminish sorry stan I was like, I don't
- 13:18Speaker 3: want to diminish Tim's arrival to our show and make
- 13:22Speaker 3: it look like we had to pad it with an
- 13:24Speaker 3: entertaining guest in case.
- 13:26Speaker 2: In case I'm boring.
- 13:28Speaker 3: So I threw him off the show today.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Damn, that's cold. Sorry, Stan.
- 13:33Speaker 3: He's pretty cold. He was in a mood last time
- 13:38Speaker 3: we recorded anyway, so it's fair. He deserved a little.
- 13:41Speaker 5: I wasn't sure if it was like a fan thing, like,
- 13:45Speaker 5: you know, like stan m & m stan kind of.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Thing i was like oh this is a reference to
- 13:52Speaker 2: something like a no no it's fanboy.
- 13:55Speaker 4: That's his that's his catchphrase hi it's me stan yeah.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yeah no don't worry you're here because we love you you're.
- 14:05Speaker 9: Talking about stan from the show the golden girl yeah
- 14:08Speaker 9: golden girl.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Yeah right okay yeah.
- 14:10Speaker 4: I know stan of course all right can you give
- 14:12Speaker 4: can you give us a hi it's me stan Hi, it's.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Me, Stan. Yay!
- 14:17Speaker 1: Yay.
- 14:18Speaker 2: All right. Thank you.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Magic.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Take that, Aaron.
- 14:23Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Well, we... Okay. Now we're just fighting.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah. All right.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Being bitchy.
- 14:29Speaker 8: Okay.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Do you... Should we get into this?
- 14:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:33Speaker 4: All right, kids. This is season four, episode 10. Stan
- 14:40Speaker 4: takes a wife.
- 14:42Speaker 2: What? Hmm.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Original air date was January 7th, 1989 in the U.S.
- 14:46Speaker 4: I don't know about there. Director was Terry Hughes. Writer,
- 14:51Speaker 4: Winifred Herve, our favorite name. Now, I know this is
- 14:55Speaker 4: going to be really hard, but what do you, Tim
- 14:57Speaker 4: and Kristen, think Stan Takes a Wife will be about?
- 15:01Speaker 3: He steals.
- 15:02Speaker 4: It's a very mysterious title.
- 15:04Speaker 2: No, he totally.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Steals his neighbor's wife.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Like.
- 15:09Speaker 4: But like physically right his wife like kidnaps her or
- 15:14Speaker 4: like woos her.
- 15:16Speaker 3: No no just physically dark yeah.
- 15:20Speaker 1: He's like going breaking.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Bad kidnapped in the back of a truck okay Golden
- 15:27Speaker 6: Girls does take it Tim what do you think it'll be.
- 15:30Speaker 5: About maybe it takes a wife someone else's wife out
- 15:34Speaker 5: for dinner okay I mean yeah I do have some
- 15:40Speaker 5: vague recollections that maybe he gets.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I don't know if he gets married again.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 2: That would be the obvious thing would be that he
- 15:47Speaker 2: got married again, but... Okay.
- 15:50Speaker 4: I'm not going to tell you if you're right or wrong.
- 15:53Speaker 3: What?
- 15:54Speaker 1: I said him and Christy got divorced, right? The stewardess
- 15:57Speaker 1: that he married.
- 15:58Speaker 3: She left him. She left him.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I assume they got an official divorce.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Were they married?
- 16:05Speaker 3: Him and the stewardess were in the first couple seasons because...
- 16:09Speaker 3: One of my cell phone text tones is Dorothy saying,
- 16:15Speaker 3: your wife left you? I had no idea she was
- 16:18Speaker 3: that bright. Oh, yeah.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Was that? I'm going to ask too many questions about
- 16:25Speaker 2: the show. You're fine.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 16:27Speaker 2: You're fine.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Ask away.
- 16:29Speaker 5: Because I do remember there being another, like, was she young?
- 16:35Speaker 10: Yes.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Young and blonde, right? yeah okay now tim and kristin
- 16:42Speaker 4: have to decide together who of the four girls dorothy
- 16:47Speaker 4: blanche sophia or rose will be the hardest for aaron
- 16:50Speaker 4: to prove is the villain of the episode.
- 16:57Speaker 2: The hardest for aaron to prove yeah.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Erin has to use her powers of persuasion to convince
- 17:03Speaker 1: us that this person.
- 17:04Speaker 8: Was the villain in the episode.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:06Speaker 1: So we want to make it hard for her to
- 17:09Speaker 1: do that.
- 17:12Speaker 5: I mean, I feel like Blanche is probably the default
- 17:16Speaker 5: villain most of the time, is she not?
- 17:17Speaker 2: Like, she's kind of the most.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, but this is also a Stan episode, so Dorothy
- 17:24Speaker 1: could be pretty bad. So I wouldn't be more inclined
- 17:26Speaker 1: to go, like, Rose or Blanche for this one, but.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Because Dorothy's going to be the one dealing with this bullshit,
- 17:34Speaker 2: isn't she? Right.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Because if Dorothy's obviously the villain, you've made it easy
- 17:38Speaker 4: for her.
- 17:38Speaker 7: Yeah. Yeah.
- 17:39Speaker 2: You can swear.
- 17:41Speaker 3: And Sophia is always.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you're Australian. You like the C word, right?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I'll drop it if you want.
- 17:48Speaker 5: But I mean, how funny was it when Queen Jane
- 17:52Speaker 5: dropped it on the episode and called.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Herself after she said it? She was like, oh, my God.
- 17:57Speaker 3: That's amazing.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Ralph likes to throw it around, but I mean, Australians
- 18:01Speaker 5: don't even throw it around that much, but.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Like far out, you know, I think.
- 18:05Speaker 4: I don't know, man.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I mean, you like some attendees Australian, but like.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I only do when I'm talking to my cat.
- 18:12Speaker 2: That's fair.
- 18:13Speaker 4: That's fair.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Most cats are cunts. I accidentally called a child a
- 18:16Speaker 2: cunt in Boston.
- 18:26Speaker 4: You didn't know it was a child?
- 18:28Speaker 3: It was in Chicago. No, these girls came in. Their
- 18:32Speaker 3: moms dropped them off. And then they were left unattended
- 18:36Speaker 3: at the Bevics. And they were picking on this server.
- 18:41Speaker 3: He was dressed in all pale pink. And he was
- 18:44Speaker 3: supposed to be a Ken. Like a Ken doll. And
- 18:48Speaker 3: they kept asking him why he was gay. And just
- 18:51Speaker 3: being really aggressive. And so I was like, these fucking cunts.
- 18:55Speaker 3: And my two colleague co-workers looked at me like, and
- 19:00Speaker 3: I said, I'm sorry, but their moms left and they're
- 19:03Speaker 3: acting like they're big girls in the city and they're
- 19:05Speaker 3: picking on that server and that's fucked and they're being cunts.
- 19:08Speaker 3: That's what they're being right now.
- 19:09Speaker 4: So it wasn't accidentally at all. When you hear the story.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Well, I didn't mean to say it. I didn't mean
- 19:17Speaker 3: to say it so loud they heard me.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Oh, I see.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I accidentally said it.
- 19:21Speaker 4: I meant to just talk shit about you.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I meant to quietly talk shit at my table.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Instead of like, these cunts.
- 19:28Speaker 3: But they were making me so mad. I was like,
- 19:30Speaker 3: these fucking cunts over here. Yeah. Well, I've said it
- 19:36Speaker 3: now in this episode more than I've probably ever said
- 19:39Speaker 3: it the rest of my life.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Let's get a counter going.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's get a cunt counter. Anyway.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Who did we pick, children? I only have one, so.
- 19:48Speaker 3: The cunts.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Well. I think I think I have to go Blanche
- 19:51Speaker 2: because I mean, sorry.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Don't be sorry. You got to do it again next episode.
- 19:59Speaker 3: So, yeah.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Next week.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Next week. All right.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I see.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Look at you laying into that cave.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Well, the winky voice helped. All right. You know what?
- 20:13Speaker 3: I'm going to get this ship back on the tracks. Nope.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Ships don't go on tracks.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Nope.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I'm going to get this train back on the rails.
- 20:22Speaker 2: God, sure. Commercial. Choo-choo.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Hey there.
- 20:31Speaker 11: I'm Dave, the host of Beer in Front. Sometimes the
- 20:35Speaker 11: beer in front of you is the best one yet.
- 20:38Speaker 11: I'll talk about some old school beers that maybe you've
- 20:42Speaker 11: forgotten about, some new beers that have the potential to
- 20:45Speaker 11: be a classic. I'll also talk to various people around
- 20:50Speaker 11: the beer world and get their stories all about beer.
- 20:55Speaker 11: That's Beer in Front, and it's available on all of
- 20:58Speaker 11: your favorite podcast apps.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Oh, that's me.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Hi. Sorry.
- 21:09Speaker 3: I was like, I'm so done. Commercial over. Show begins. Oh,
- 21:18Speaker 3: from now on, Strong Bad will be narrating our show
- 21:22Speaker 3: for us.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Burninating the countryside.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Hi.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Welcome back, everyone. I hope you guys enjoyed that episode.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I missed you. Oh, I missed you. Oh, you mean them.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 21:37Speaker 4: I missed you.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I always miss you.
- 21:41Speaker 1: We were together the whole time.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Shut up.
- 21:46Speaker 4: I didn't miss you.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I drank the magic.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Kristen, perhaps you're just not familiar with what it
- 21:53Speaker 3: feels like when your friends miss you. Oh, shut up.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Fire. That's okay.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Also, What?
- 22:05Speaker 5: That was very cunty to say.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Thank you. It was. Oh.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Look, I wasn't even denying that. But speaking of not
- 22:16Speaker 3: denying that, it was pretty hard for us not to
- 22:19Speaker 3: know what this episode was. But what did you guys
- 22:22Speaker 3: think of the episode? I stole Gina's line.
- 22:24Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I liked it.
- 22:26Speaker 2: It was cute.
- 22:27Speaker 4: It was a decent one.
- 22:29Speaker 2: It was good. Apart from Dorothy just having a massive
- 22:32Speaker 2: brain fart.
- 22:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it was good.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Not the most memorable in terms of, like, quotes.
- 22:40Speaker 7: No.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Although something she said, I was like, that should have
- 22:43Speaker 3: been one of my text tones. Because a couple of
- 22:45Speaker 3: my Dorothy text tones that I have are awfully long.
- 22:49Speaker 3: And she said something, and I was like, I like it.
- 22:53Speaker 2: What's the mother's name?
- 22:55Speaker 4: Sophia.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Sophia.
- 22:57Speaker 7: Yeah, her line about how she dealt with being sick.
- 23:01Speaker 7: And she says, making me ball. And she says, no,
- 23:03Speaker 7: he's Was it banging in the closet or something like that?
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Making love in the closet.
- 23:08Speaker 4: She didn't have a ton of screen time.
- 23:10Speaker 2: That was a pretty good line, though.
- 23:12Speaker 3: She was maybe dying of love.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Yeah. All right.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Well, you guys want to... I got a 13-question quiz
- 23:21Speaker 3: with y'all's names on it. You ready to do it?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Ready.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm nervous.
- 23:26Speaker 4: We'll probably create another Kristen rival when Timmy sees how
- 23:29Speaker 4: hard it is.
- 23:31Speaker 3: You're going to take notes for next week's episode, probably.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Because you're going to feel embarrassed by the speed that
- 23:38Speaker 3: she can... He's.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Casual now under a blanket, but he's going to be
- 23:42Speaker 4: studious next week.
- 23:43Speaker 3: We do ask that you try to let me finish
- 23:46Speaker 3: the question. The quiz master has been known to be
- 23:53Speaker 3: punitive about that.
- 23:54Speaker 4: And pregnantly pause.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Like that one.
- 24:01Speaker 8: Yep.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Okay. So, who ditches Blanche at the movies? Kristen.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Jerry.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Yes. All right. First point, Kristen.
- 24:16Speaker 4: What a shock.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Yeah. We should call this Try to Beat Kristen. All right.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:26Speaker 4: We should call it Three Cunts Watch the Golden Girls.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 24:30Speaker 4: It's only in Australia.
- 24:34Speaker 3: In Australia, we could rebrand to, like, Conti Cougars.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Conti Cougars?
- 24:41Speaker 4: Nobody will know what the show's about.
- 24:45Speaker 7: The spin-off version of the show.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 24:50Speaker 3: All right. Well, just question two now. It's going so well.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 24:57Speaker 3: What does Sophia suggest that Stan's Awesome news is. I
- 25:05Speaker 3: love the look of like just blank disappointment on all
- 25:09Speaker 3: over your face.
- 25:09Speaker 4: I'm just trying to think like. I want to say
- 25:12Speaker 4: something with his hair, but I don't remember. I think
- 25:20Speaker 4: I think it's yours.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's mine. I have.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I buzzed. Just stop Aaron.
- 25:26Speaker 7: Yes.
- 25:26Speaker 3: The answer was dating somebody over 12.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Oh right oh wait for aaron do you want me
- 25:32Speaker 1: to read the points aaron.
- 25:33Speaker 3: A little early but if you want sure i just.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Want to make you feel good because please gina and
- 25:43Speaker 1: timmy have zero points and aaron and kristin are tied
- 25:48Speaker 1: with one.
- 25:48Speaker 4: No it's australian rules we're winning I'm ready to make
- 25:52Speaker 4: a comeback.
- 25:56Speaker 7: Here.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Timmy, the comeback king. All right, great. Well, I'm going
- 25:59Speaker 3: to reset those buzzers and we're going to move on.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Who does Sophia spent more on a nose ring than
- 26:06Speaker 3: Stan did on Catherine's ring?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Oh, Kristen.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Lisa Bonet. Yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:14Speaker 4: I knew that one, but I wasn't fast enough, you guys.
- 26:18Speaker 3: Look, I've looked into it and I don't know a
- 26:21Speaker 3: way to delay a player. I thought if I gave
- 26:24Speaker 3: her like a like a one millisecond delay that it
- 26:27Speaker 3: would even the playing field with the guests and you.
- 26:31Speaker 3: And all right. Anyway, let's move on. I'm going to.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Reset the or she's just that good.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Kristen got the point. So now she's in the lead.
- 26:40Speaker 3: It's fine. OK, next question. This one's going to get
- 26:45Speaker 3: everyone mad at me. I'm sure of it. Can't wait.
- 26:49Speaker 3: What is the name of Sophia's doctor? Kristen?
- 26:53Speaker 2: Dr. Seymour?
- 26:54Speaker 4: Yeah, uh-huh. Seymour Butts.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Seymour guests not wanting to come back.
- 27:01Speaker 2: What? Just kidding. I'm kidding. I wouldn't have got it anyway.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I buzzed, but I didn't. I knew to remember it,
- 27:08Speaker 2: and then I didn't remember it.
- 27:09Speaker 12: So that's going to be an answer.
- 27:11Speaker 4: I knew to remember it, but I didn't remember it.
- 27:14Speaker 3: I knew to remember it.
- 27:17Speaker 4: But i didn't remember christ i.
- 27:18Speaker 5: Was like because that's when you guys clued me into
- 27:20Speaker 5: like oh yeah by the way there's gonna be a
- 27:22Speaker 5: quiz and i was like oh shit and then i was.
- 27:25Speaker 6: Like you're kicking yourself that's okay this next one also
- 27:32Speaker 6: could be one where people are like fuck you aaron
- 27:35Speaker 6: too specific dorothy hates waiting and blanche hates hospitals what
- 27:39Speaker 6: does rose hate.
- 27:43Speaker 4: No, it's not.
- 27:44Speaker 3: It's not.
- 27:44Speaker 4: I don't hate you for that question. I just don't
- 27:46Speaker 4: know it.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Yeah, no clue.
- 27:48Speaker 2: It's a good one.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Oh, point Aaron. The answer was.
- 27:54Speaker 4: If you can answer it.
- 27:55Speaker 3: When people put each other down on love connection.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I totally missed that one.
- 28:01Speaker 8: I don't even hear that.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 28:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:04Speaker 4: It went by all of us.
- 28:05Speaker 3: They got to the hospital and they were like. I
- 28:08Speaker 3: hate hospitals. I hate waiting. Well, I guess Dorothy didn't have.
- 28:13Speaker 4: A Southern accent.
- 28:15Speaker 3: She's Southern now. And then Rose went, I hate when
- 28:19Speaker 3: people put each other down on love connection. And they
- 28:22Speaker 3: were like, what the fuck is wrong with you?
- 28:26Speaker 4: That's a Rose line.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Yep.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:28Speaker 4: All right, cool.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Looks like I get a point. Again.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Yeah, Aaron's beating us, I think.
- 28:32Speaker 7: I know.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Or is she tied with you?
- 28:34Speaker 3: No. Not quite. Kristen still has, oh, not quite, she says.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Trying to be graceful.
- 28:43Speaker 3: It's your competition with me that, like, I can't win.
- 28:47Speaker 3: And I write these quiz for you guys that I
- 28:49Speaker 3: think is when she gets a little shade in her
- 28:51Speaker 3: voice that I'm just like, I gotta slap you down again. Because, like,
- 28:55Speaker 3: I can't even win. Don't be shitty with me.
- 28:58Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Let's move on. Here's an easier question.
- 29:04Speaker 2: We'll see.
- 29:06Speaker 4: We'll be the judge of that.
- 29:09Speaker 3: What does Sophia have? Kristen.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Advanced pneumonia.
- 29:15Speaker 10: Okay.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Yep.
- 29:18Speaker 3: That's it. You got it.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I thought it advanced to pneumonia.
- 29:22Speaker 3: It was just pneumonia, but I'm not going to hem
- 29:25Speaker 3: and haw. She had like a cold or a chest
- 29:29Speaker 3: something that advanced to pneumonia.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Different strokes.
- 29:32Speaker 3: But pneumonia is fine. It's fine. Okay, next question. It's
- 29:40Speaker 3: fine what does Dorothy say after the group hug Kristen
- 29:48Speaker 3: hands above the waist Stanley yeah hands above the waist
- 29:54Speaker 3: Stan yes no Lee.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Oh, sorry, Stan.
- 29:58Speaker 4: I'm not going to quibble on that.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Sorry, I'm putting a protest in on that.
- 30:03Speaker 3: You didn't even buzz in, Timmy.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Did you even know it?
- 30:09Speaker 2: No, but, you know, the rules, she said the wrong thing,
- 30:12Speaker 2: so that's the wrong answer. I'm sorry.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Obsessed.
- 30:16Speaker 4: We'll take that into account. I'm obsessed with a.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Person that has no points. decided this is the hill
- 30:24Speaker 3: to die on.
- 30:24Speaker 12: Hey, if you can't fight fair, you fight dirty.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I don't want to, like, discourage you
- 30:33Speaker 3: from playing, Tim, but, like, you can't win unless you
- 30:37Speaker 3: get all five of the rest questions.
- 30:40Speaker 2: You would die at best.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Okay, cool, cool, cool.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Nah, this is it. This is it. I'm going on
- 30:44Speaker 2: a streak now.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Look out.
- 30:48Speaker 4: Here comes Timmy.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Hope springs eternal. Fuck.
- 30:53Speaker 3: What does Sophia sing to her sauce over the holidays? Gina, Gina, Gina.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Nat King Cole.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Yay, Gina got a point.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Which I assume is the Christmas song.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Tim, you can't win now at all.
- 31:09Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 31:09Speaker 3: But you could maybe get a point so that you
- 31:11Speaker 3: don't feel sad. I feel accepted.
- 31:14Speaker 2: That's my only goal here.
- 31:16Speaker 4: It's a matter of the numbers working out for me.
- 31:19Speaker 3: I don't know what Tim math is.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Do they have special math down under?
- 31:24Speaker 2: If I get a point, I win.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Oh, because of the metric inversion.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Oh, metric.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Don't even, Aaron, I'm telling you, don't go there.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Don't do it.
- 31:35Speaker 2: We already had one meltdown.
- 31:38Speaker 4: I thought he just meant personal pride. He wins inside.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Okay. All right. Cool.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Well, let's move this ship along the rails as it were.
- 31:50Speaker 3: And I rethought about that. And you know, They do
- 31:52Speaker 3: initially kind of, don't they have.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Them on those rails that go up into the water?
- 31:57Speaker 3: Well, if they're not dry dock them, they go up.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Don't even try, Erin. Don't even try.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Okay, okay. Stan B.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Stanley.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Let's get this.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Ship back in the air. The shit these people give me.
- 32:10Speaker 4: This pony back in the water.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Alright, here we go. Moving on.
- 32:14Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Sophia.
- 32:18Speaker 2: I love the podcast.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Sophia has survived war, disease, and what? Timmy.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Syphilis.
- 32:31Speaker 4: You're just going to make up answers.
- 32:37Speaker 3: If no one else gets that, if no one else
- 32:40Speaker 3: gets the actual correct answer, I might give him a
- 32:43Speaker 3: bonus point for laughter.
- 32:44Speaker 4: I don't remember it.
- 32:46Speaker 3: I'm going to give him a sorry about the metric
- 32:48Speaker 3: system point.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Why not?
- 32:52Speaker 3: Creativity. Amazing. All right. So the real answer to that
- 32:56Speaker 3: question was Sophia survived two seasons of Designing Women.
- 33:03Speaker 2: You know, I liked that show.
- 33:05Speaker 3: I do like that show. I just like when Sophia
- 33:08Speaker 3: throws shade at television.
- 33:09Speaker 4: I know.
- 33:10Speaker 3: It's like a weird commentary.
- 33:11Speaker 4: She's like, we're the Golden Girls, bitch.
- 33:13Speaker 3: We beat all of them. Oh my god, so I
- 33:16Speaker 3: got a third point. Except when she shit on the
- 33:18Speaker 3: three amigos.
- 33:19Speaker 4: That was a good one.
- 33:21Speaker 12: I thought I was getting a pity point for that.
- 33:24Speaker 3: You did.
- 33:25Speaker 4: No, it was a creativity point.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Timmy gets syphilis.
- 33:31Speaker 4: That's right. Tell your friends. If you have tail damage
- 33:36Speaker 4: in your car and you need some old syphilis to
- 33:38Speaker 4: fix it.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I'm your guy. I'm your man.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Why does Rose say they took her off the suicide
- 33:47Speaker 3: hotline at work?
- 33:48Speaker 2: I missed that line.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Kristen looks unsure of this.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Because she was bad at talking people out of doing
- 33:58Speaker 1: things they wanted to do.
- 34:00Speaker 3: That sounds right. I'm going to allow it. That's close enough.
- 34:04Speaker 3: It was worded weird. So the exact wording was she's
- 34:07Speaker 3: always getting people to do the opposite of her intentions.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:11Speaker 3: But that's what you said.
- 34:12Speaker 4: So she should just be like, do it, jump.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Kill yourself, fucker.
- 34:16Speaker 3: And then they're like, you know what? This is too much.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I'm fine. Chicken.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Come on. Pussies talk about it. Real people kill themselves.
- 34:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Hear it on the line. We do not condemn suicide.
- 34:32Speaker 2: No, seriously.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Don't kill yourself.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Golden girls got dark ears. It does sometimes. Less golden,
- 34:41Speaker 2: more like dull sheen girls.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Damn it, we could have named our podcast then. I
- 34:51Speaker 3: have to write that one down.
- 34:52Speaker 2: It's never too late.
- 34:54Speaker 4: Then we wouldn't be stepping on the toes of out
- 34:56Speaker 4: on the lanai.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Dull sheen. Yeah, that was confusing when I went looking
- 35:02Speaker 2: for your podcast.
- 35:03Speaker 3: We didn't know they existed.
- 35:05Speaker 2: We didn't know.
- 35:07Speaker 4: Shout out to you guys. You want to collaborate?
- 35:09Speaker 3: Hit us up. They're probably more established than we have.
- 35:11Speaker 4: A proper celebrities and shit.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Yeah. We're DIY punk rock in it.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Meanwhile, Ryan sent me a picture of him and the
- 35:23Speaker 3: drummer from Fallout Boy at some like rock festival. It
- 35:28Speaker 3: was like it was punk rock comedy. And he sent
- 35:33Speaker 3: me the picture and he's like, I'm at this, like,
- 35:35Speaker 3: did this hard rock fest thing over the weekend in Seattle.
- 35:39Speaker 3: And I was like, would we call Fall Out Boy
- 35:41Speaker 3: hard rock?
- 35:42Speaker 10: No.
- 35:43Speaker 3: And he said, well, no, but the members of all. Yeah.
- 35:48Speaker 3: What I didn't remember. And then he told me and
- 35:50Speaker 3: I looked up and I was like, oh, fuck. I
- 35:51Speaker 3: remember now looking at the names. They all came from. Well,
- 35:56Speaker 3: they all came from like super hardcore punk bands and
- 36:00Speaker 3: met each other and then made like a more mainstream sound.
- 36:04Speaker 3: To be successful. But I was like.
- 36:08Speaker 4: This has been your music minute. With Erin.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Anyway moving right along to the next question. I hope
- 36:14Speaker 3: y'all ready. What does Blanche say is wrong. With Rose's ankle.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Fuck.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Was I watching the same episode.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 36:26Speaker 3: I don't know what you guys are watching. I didn't even.
- 36:29Speaker 3: This is like not even my normal. Like this is
- 36:33Speaker 3: like a. Seven out of a ten as far as
- 36:36Speaker 3: quizzes go.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Well, apparently that's how you get us. We're expecting you
- 36:42Speaker 4: to ask about certain things and you're just like flying wild.
- 36:45Speaker 4: All right.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Well, I buzzed in.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Yes, Erin.
- 36:47Speaker 3: I called it on that one.
- 36:49Speaker 7: Okay.
- 36:50Speaker 3: So I'll just take my next point, by the way. Oh,
- 36:52Speaker 3: I gave it to you.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Can you tell us the answer?
- 36:56Speaker 3: Honestly, I might win this episode, guys. All right. Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 3: It's an old plow injury. Yeah, I didn't even hear that.
- 37:06Speaker 3: She kicks her in the ankle or whatever and then
- 37:10Speaker 3: she's limping and she's like, what's wrong with your ankle?
- 37:12Speaker 3: Before Rose can answer, she says, an old plow injury?
- 37:18Speaker 2: Yes.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Maybe I was chatting. I gotta be quiet. I get chatty.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Look at her awful slouchy boots.
- 37:28Speaker 3: I'm just curious what the score is right now. Score, please.
- 37:32Speaker 1: The current score is Gina and Timmy with one each.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Erin has four and Kristen has six.
- 37:40Speaker 4: Erin is kicking.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Ass this episode.
- 37:43Speaker 3: I still can't win, though.
- 37:45Speaker 4: But you've done very well.
- 37:47Speaker 1: You've put in a valiant effort.
- 37:49Speaker 4: That's probably better than you've done in a long time.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I don't think I've ever had four.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Ever.
- 37:52Speaker 4: She's never had that many points. Apparently, this quiz is
- 37:57Speaker 4: too hard.
- 37:58Speaker 3: All right. This next one's probably going to be a
- 38:02Speaker 3: point for me, to be honest, because apparently I was
- 38:04Speaker 3: in a weird headspace when I wrote this. How can
- 38:07Speaker 3: Dorothy be so sure? For context, if it helps, Catherine says,
- 38:12Speaker 3: how can you be so sure?
- 38:14Speaker 2: Damn it.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Gina, Gina, Gina.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Because she met you and sees you're a nice person.
- 38:23Speaker 4: And in a moment of weakness, she thinks she wants
- 38:25Speaker 4: to stand back. Was it that stuff?
- 38:28Speaker 3: It was that conversation, but it wasn't that.
- 38:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Sorry. Timmy.
- 38:35Speaker 2: She's the person that she's talking about. She's the ex-wife.
- 38:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:40Speaker 3: I'm really glad that you guys all watched the scene,
- 38:43Speaker 3: but that's not the answer. So the answer, unless Kristen
- 38:47Speaker 3: wants to try a guess.
- 38:49Speaker 4: I hazard a guess.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I almost said gander a guess. I'm not.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 3: I don't know what's happening with my words.
- 38:56Speaker 11: My goose.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Nope that's a duck because she's a leo.
- 39:06Speaker 3: There's my guy honestly i'm gonna kristen gets the point
- 39:11Speaker 3: yeah because i'm a she says i just had leo
- 39:15Speaker 3: written down remember she likes.
- 39:17Speaker 4: To make fun of that horoscope shit that's right.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Yeah she says she's like i'm she says i'm a
- 39:23Speaker 3: leo they're all very sure of themselves I did that
- 39:27Speaker 3: because I'm a Leo. That's why that caught my eye.
- 39:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Well, I'm giving Kristen a point. I just want to,
- 39:34Speaker 3: on the record, say that it did take her 46
- 39:37Speaker 3: seconds to even try to guess. Yeah, yeah. Sometimes at
- 39:44Speaker 3: On the Lanai here, our last question of the quiz
- 39:48Speaker 3: is known as last line. And what I want you
- 39:51Speaker 3: to do when I say, sure, why not? What I
- 39:55Speaker 3: want you to do. Wait, how many points does Kristen have?
- 39:58Speaker 2: Seven. Eighteen.
- 39:59Speaker 7: Okay.
- 40:00Speaker 3: This question is worth seven points. What? Because then Kristen can't.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Are we doing Jeopardy's rules?
- 40:07Speaker 3: She can't lose. Oh, no, she can lose.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Wait.
- 40:10Speaker 4: Then she could lose.
- 40:10Speaker 3: It's worth six points. Fuck this. It's worth one point.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Don't ask for special rules.
- 40:15Speaker 4: No, just, yeah.
- 40:18Speaker 2: I'm just in here shaking your shit up.
- 40:20Speaker 3: All right. Buzzer's reset. What was the last line of
- 40:24Speaker 3: the show? I'm going to let that happen because I
- 40:27Speaker 3: paused a little. Kristen.
- 40:29Speaker 4: Believe me, we will.
- 40:31Speaker 10: Dorothy.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Say it again.
- 40:34Speaker 4: Believe me, we will.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:38Speaker 8: Did I not say it right?
- 40:41Speaker 3: Gina, say what you think it is.
- 40:43Speaker 4: Believe me, you will.
- 40:44Speaker 7: No. Okay.
- 40:45Speaker 3: I'm going to give it to Kristen. She said, oh,
- 40:48Speaker 3: believe me, you will. No, Timmy, you can't get a
- 40:51Speaker 3: second syphilis point. Kristen gets the point.
- 40:53Speaker 4: I said, believe me, you will.
- 40:57Speaker 3: The line was, oh, believe me, we will.
- 41:01Speaker 9: Oh, we will.
- 41:02Speaker 2: It was we will.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Yeah, Kristen got it closest. I was just if someone
- 41:06Speaker 3: had the oh, because it was okay.
- 41:09Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 41:11Speaker 1: We can give Gina a point.
- 41:12Speaker 3: No, the point goes to you. She said you will.
- 41:16Speaker 3: So you got the line closest to.
- 41:18Speaker 4: Wait, you keep saying we will and you will. What
- 41:20Speaker 4: was the line?
- 41:22Speaker 3: The line was, oh, believe me, we will.
- 41:25Speaker 4: We will. OK, then it's Kristen.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Wow. You should have let me make it seven points.
- 41:30Speaker 3: You would have had your highest score ever. You'd have
- 41:32Speaker 3: had like, what, 15 or something.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:35Speaker 3: What's the score? Tell me.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Gina and Tim, we got four or one.
- 41:39Speaker 3: I was like, four?
- 41:40Speaker 2: When?
- 41:42Speaker 8: My brain was going ahead.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Aaron has four.
- 41:45Speaker 8: And I got eight.
- 41:46Speaker 2: There you go.
- 41:49Speaker 3: Good job.
- 41:49Speaker 2: You did it.
- 41:49Speaker 4: There you go, Timmy. That's how it feels to get
- 41:51Speaker 4: stopped by Kristen.
- 41:52Speaker 2: The rata passage.
- 41:55Speaker 4: You're into being shamed, you know, that'll really do it
- 41:57Speaker 4: for you.
- 41:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 41:59Speaker 3: All right. Well, good job. You did it. Do you
- 42:01Speaker 3: have some trivia for us?
- 42:03Speaker 2: Yes, ma'am.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Herb Edelman was Stan. He was in an episode of
- 42:07Speaker 4: The Naked Truth. The more he shows up, the more obscure.
- 42:11Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, the more you share with us,
- 42:14Speaker 3: I'm like.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Because we already know what else he's in. Eleanor Donahue
- 42:18Speaker 4: was Catherine. She was in Father Knows Best. Tom Tarpey
- 42:22Speaker 4: was Dr.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Seymour.
- 42:24Speaker 4: He was in 9 to 5. Wayne, I don't know
- 42:29Speaker 4: if it's, it's C-H-O-U, Chow or Choo. As the orderly.
- 42:34Speaker 4: He was in An Inconvenient Woman, which is a hell
- 42:37Speaker 4: of a title. Doug Franklin as the young doctor. He
- 42:40Speaker 4: was in Beastmaster 2. Freeman King as the bartender. He
- 42:45Speaker 4: was in Fletch. Beastmaster 2.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Sorry. What a credit.
- 42:54Speaker 4: Herb and Eleanor, Stan and Catherine in this episode, have
- 42:58Speaker 4: played husband and wife before on an episode of The
- 43:01Speaker 4: Love Boat, which I thought.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Was pretty cool.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Catherine is never seen or spoken of again. So, high
- 43:08Speaker 4: end by Catherine.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I was going to say, like.
- 43:11Speaker 4: We never confirmed they got married. They left the episode.
- 43:14Speaker 4: Maybe Dorothy went, run, bitch, or I'll cut you.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Yeah. We do that, though, right? I mean, like, in shows.
- 43:24Speaker 3: I'm not saying, like, even just, like, we in the
- 43:27Speaker 3: Golden Girls, we sense. I'm saying just, like. television wise
- 43:31Speaker 3: it's not unusual.
- 43:32Speaker 12: It's a weird thread to leave like undealt with.
- 43:37Speaker 4: That seems like a big thing for a character to then.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Just ignore it and then just not address.
- 43:43Speaker 4: It like with Chrissy they brought her back up and
- 43:46Speaker 4: then she left him at least they followed through with.
- 43:48Speaker 3: That I think we see Stan again this season but
- 43:53Speaker 3: not for a few episodes so maybe they just forgot
- 43:58Speaker 3: maybe I don't know It is weird. All right, well,
- 44:01Speaker 3: now I got to deep dive that. We'll have an
- 44:03Speaker 3: answer for you. Not next week, but maybe later.
- 44:07Speaker 8: Or not.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 44:09Speaker 4: No promises. Blanche, if you noticed in the beginning, was
- 44:12Speaker 4: eating Dreyer's ice cream. Dreyer's is west of the Rocky Mountains. Otherwise,
- 44:18Speaker 4: it's Eddie's.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Or Edie's.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I don't know how you say it. This is a
- 44:22Speaker 4: sign of them filming in L.A. that they had dryers.
- 44:26Speaker 4: So they're not in Miami.
- 44:28Speaker 1: I didn't know that.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 44:30Speaker 4: The title is a takeoff of the children's song Farmer
- 44:33Speaker 4: in the Dell. Stan takes a wife. Sonny Bono.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Did you just sing that slightly for us? Stan takes
- 44:42Speaker 3: a wife.
- 44:43Speaker 2: It helps. Stan takes a wife. The cheesecake stands alone.
- 44:48Speaker 2: I wouldn't have got it.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Do you know that song?
- 44:54Speaker 2: Once he sang it, I did.
- 44:57Speaker 4: The Cheesecake Stands Alone, I love that.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I wouldn't have got it otherwise.
- 44:59Speaker 4: A couple of references they made, not many. Lisa Bonet,
- 45:03Speaker 4: actress on The Cosby Show and A Different World. I
- 45:06Speaker 4: know previously we talked about A Different World with Book Daddy.
- 45:09Speaker 4: And Sonny Bono, they said, you know, look what happened
- 45:12Speaker 4: when he got ditched by Cher. He went into politics
- 45:16Speaker 4: and will later be in an episode.
- 45:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:20Speaker 4: That's all I have today.
- 45:22Speaker 3: Fun Sonny Bono fact.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Yes.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Tell me.
- 45:25Speaker 3: It's not really fun, nor is it a Sonny Bono fact,
- 45:28Speaker 3: but my dad sat next to Sonny Bono's widow shortly
- 45:34Speaker 3: after he passed on a flight in first class. And
- 45:37Speaker 3: they ended up talking like the whole flight. And he
- 45:41Speaker 3: said she was lovely and was still quite like broken
- 45:44Speaker 3: up at the loss of her husband and stuff.
- 45:46Speaker 4: But like, was it like just after?
- 45:48Speaker 3: It was pretty shortly after, yeah.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Wow.
- 45:54Speaker 3: Remember Kirk Lee died in a skiing accident? He hit
- 45:57Speaker 3: a tree. His tiny little frame hit a tree and
- 46:00Speaker 3: he died. Because when you get going down that hill,
- 46:02Speaker 3: isn't that what happened to Natasha something too? The one
- 46:05Speaker 3: that was married to Liam Neeson? Liam Neeson's wife. Yeah,
- 46:09Speaker 3: she hit a tree too, I think.
- 46:11Speaker 4: When you're going down the mountain, that Yeti will sometimes
- 46:13Speaker 4: come get you.
- 46:14Speaker 2: Free skate.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Or free ski, yeah.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Sorry, that was a horrible joke to make.
- 46:21Speaker 10: And another fun fact, Michael Schumacher, who was a famous
- 46:25Speaker 10: F1 driver, he's still alive, but did have a really
- 46:29Speaker 10: bad accident and hit his head skiing.
- 46:32Speaker 4: Is he, like, different now? Like, did it change him?
- 46:36Speaker 2: Yeah, he's, like, basically like a vegetable. Just a permanent
- 46:41Speaker 2: sort of.
- 46:41Speaker 4: So he's not racing anymore or anything?
- 46:43Speaker 2: No, no, no, no. He'd retired by that point, but
- 46:47Speaker 2: he still loved, you know.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Doing adventure sports and stuff like that and yeah.
- 46:53Speaker 12: Fell over and hit his head um and yeah never
- 46:58Speaker 12: came back so yeah the families.
- 47:01Speaker 4: Yeah thank you for bringing us down timmy.
- 47:08Speaker 3: I was gonna explain that tig notaro had this really
- 47:11Speaker 3: beautiful yeti um reference in the d20 uh disney has
- 47:17Speaker 3: like their own version of like a comic-con just to
- 47:19Speaker 3: release shit they're gonna make you pay for later called
- 47:23Speaker 3: d23 and um they just had their big like show
- 47:26Speaker 3: uh live on uh disney plus and uh tigna tarot
- 47:33Speaker 3: was one of the people that presented along with neil
- 47:35Speaker 3: patrick harris and spoiler alert uh they're bringing the dream
- 47:39Speaker 3: finder animatronic back to epcot As a result, Tig Notaro,
- 47:44Speaker 3: who is a famous comedian, they just kept bringing her
- 47:47Speaker 3: in to like do stuff. And she didn't understand it ever.
- 47:51Speaker 3: And so at one point she came in with no
- 47:53Speaker 3: head in like just this like brown furry Sasquatch Yeti
- 47:59Speaker 3: looking outfit and just said, I don't understand what I am.
- 48:04Speaker 3: And Neil Patrick Harris said, you're the Yeti from Expedition
- 48:08Speaker 3: Everest and famously the Yeti from Expedition Everest. Has been
- 48:12Speaker 3: broken more days than it's worked. Like if you ride
- 48:15Speaker 3: that ride. And he actually swipes at you. It's surprising.
- 48:20Speaker 3: Because normally he's just like. Sitting over top of the track.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Like staring at you. And so. Neil had her stand
- 48:29Speaker 3: there still on the stage. And just not move. And
- 48:32Speaker 3: he was like. Honestly you're crushing being the Yeti. And
- 48:37Speaker 3: so when you said Yeti. That's where I was going
- 48:39Speaker 3: to take it. But we went and sat down. timmy's
- 48:42Speaker 3: dark sad.
- 48:43Speaker 12: Road weird weird down a moment man i was hoping
- 48:47Speaker 12: to be like half as funny as smoke but it's
- 48:50Speaker 12: just not happening.
- 48:52Speaker 4: I mean it's well it is like two.
- 48:55Speaker 2: O'clock in the morning it is it is two o'clock in.
- 48:58Speaker 4: The morning and did you smoke anything.
- 49:00Speaker 12: Like i did not no that's probably my problem my
- 49:04Speaker 12: problem really yeah well.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Try harder for the.
- 49:07Speaker 4: Next week's episode i don't know if that's your thing
- 49:10Speaker 4: but yeah next week maybe.
- 49:14Speaker 3: You're fine. We love you.
- 49:16Speaker 4: I'm enjoying you.
- 49:18Speaker 2: I think the accent's carrying me.
- 49:19Speaker 3: It's the.
- 49:20Speaker 4: I mean it is pretty great I am on season
- 49:23Speaker 4: 4 of Love Island Australia oh damn.
- 49:28Speaker 3: I've not dipped my toes in Australia. Not very often, no.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Where's Tallyman Todd? We need a cunt tally for this episode.
- 49:37Speaker 1: But I did need the shoe-y thing explained at some
- 49:39Speaker 1: point because that was disgusting.
- 49:42Speaker 3: They drink out of a shoe. It's so gross.
- 49:45Speaker 2: You stick your feet in there. Our national shame. Why?
- 49:51Speaker 2: It baffles me. It baffles me how this whole thing started. Sorry.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Sorry, the villain is no longer Blanche, it's Shuey, and
- 50:01Speaker 3: Tim is going to explain that to us.
- 50:03Speaker 10: Please.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Okay. Strapping, kids, because you're in for a ride. No, yeah,
- 50:08Speaker 2: Shueys are people drinking.
- 50:10Speaker 12: Out of sometimes their own shoe, a beer, pouring a
- 50:13Speaker 12: beer into a shoe.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Also, you're ruining your shoe. But even more grossly, it's
- 50:17Speaker 2: someone else's shoe.
- 50:19Speaker 4: And then you're putting it back on your foot all wet?
- 50:22Speaker 2: And then drinking, sculling the beer. Sculling the beer. I
- 50:27Speaker 2: don't know. Yeah.
- 50:29Speaker 4: Like you just drink it until it's gone.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Drink the whole thing. Yeah.
- 50:33Speaker 12: So finally back to the formula, one thing, uh, one
- 50:37Speaker 12: of the guys, Daniel Ricardo was very famously known for,
- 50:40Speaker 12: I think he brought, he was one of the first,
- 50:43Speaker 12: if not the first guy on a national world stage
- 50:47Speaker 12: to do it.
- 50:47Speaker 2: And, I still don't get it. Why? It is not
- 50:50Speaker 2: an Australian thing. It is not an Australian thing. It
- 50:53Speaker 2: was never an Australian thing. And somehow.
- 50:55Speaker 4: Apparently it is.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Someone, some fucking Muppet decided to go. Fucking Muppet. Some Muppet.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Just writing that down.
- 51:02Speaker 4: But then they put the shoe back on their foot.
- 51:06Speaker 2: I guess. I guess you have to because you've got
- 51:08Speaker 2: to go home.
- 51:08Speaker 4: Unless you're bringing a spare shoe just for this activity.
- 51:11Speaker 2: No, no, no. You are wearing clothes.
- 51:13Speaker 4: You're smelling someone's foot odor while you're sculling it?
- 51:17Speaker 2: You're drinking someone else's foot odor.
- 51:20Speaker 4: Are you guys getting like bad breath and gingivitis?
- 51:25Speaker 2: Look, like I said, the whole thing baffles me.
- 51:27Speaker 4: Have you done it?
- 51:29Speaker 2: I've never done it. I will never do it.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Take a stand, Timmy.
- 51:33Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Take a stand.
- 51:35Speaker 9: This is up there with the metric system for things
- 51:38Speaker 9: that enrage.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Me.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Because it sounds awful.
- 51:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:43Speaker 2: It's fucking horseshit.
- 51:44Speaker 4: Just get a solo cup made that looks like a
- 51:47Speaker 4: shoe and you'll be rich.
- 51:48Speaker 2: No, no. You're missing the entire point. The entire point
- 51:51Speaker 2: is to be gross and... Oh, I don't understand.
- 51:55Speaker 4: Because they want to be gross.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Why? It's not a lack of capware. Who hurt them?
- 51:58Speaker 2: It's stopping them from.
- 52:00Speaker 12: drinking out of a normal cup it's it's just like
- 52:03Speaker 12: oh no this will be funny we're gonna do something that's.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Yeah oh god i just i looked it.
- 52:11Speaker 7: Up i looked it up what what made you more
- 52:17Speaker 7: grossed out by looking it up oh god.
- 52:19Speaker 13: It says because it says how it works the vessel
- 52:23Speaker 13: you take off your own shoe or use a friend's
- 52:25Speaker 13: shoe And then the retch, the actual physical retch.
- 52:30Speaker 3: I had came from. Sometimes even a fan sneaker is
- 52:34Speaker 3: handed up to a stage.
- 52:37Speaker 4: Oh, like at a concert?
- 52:38Speaker 3: Like some rando shoe.
- 52:41Speaker 4: After they've been standing out there all day sweating.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 52:45Speaker 12: Like six hours at these events they can be going from.
- 52:48Speaker 4: Get it together, Australia.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Oh, please. Locals view it. He's not an Australian thing.
- 52:56Speaker 3: What is it?
- 52:56Speaker 2: It's just some fucking idiots. It is some fucking morons.
- 53:01Speaker 4: But it's caught fire in Australia, right? It's popular there, right?
- 53:09Speaker 3: Well, Daniel Ricciardo is the one that fucked Ricciardo.
- 53:14Speaker 4: Are you saying it's not only in Australia? It's everywhere.
- 53:17Speaker 2: No, no. It's purely Australian.
- 53:20Speaker 12: But it's not an australian thing it's not it's not
- 53:23Speaker 12: a actual australian thing we do not go around doing fucking.
- 53:27Speaker 2: Shoeies like you didn't make it up.
- 53:29Speaker 7: No no one i know has ever done a shoeie
- 53:31Speaker 7: oh you're.
- 53:32Speaker 6: Saying respectable australians don't do it yeah no one.
- 53:36Speaker 12: I would be associated with and if they were if they.
- 53:41Speaker 4: You interview a job and you go they go do
- 53:43Speaker 4: you have any questions And then you go, do you
- 53:46Speaker 4: do shoeies? And they say, yeah, I don't want to
- 53:48Speaker 4: work for you.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Get the fuck out.
- 53:51Speaker 12: If I was interviewing and they said, I'm not sure
- 53:54Speaker 12: you can leave.
- 53:55Speaker 4: No, shoeies may not apply.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Get the fuck out. You're done, son. All right.
- 54:02Speaker 4: I got it.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:04Speaker 4: So it is a thing, but it's also an anti thing.
- 54:08Speaker 2: It's a thing is like men are already gross, but like,
- 54:12Speaker 2: you know.
- 54:13Speaker 7: No woman I know or have ever heard of a
- 54:16Speaker 7: woman doing one of these things.
- 54:17Speaker 4: Oh, it's not a lady thing.
- 54:19Speaker 3: I ate trash off the ground at Knott's in character. Like,
- 54:23Speaker 3: clean trash. Not, like, if someone dropped a pizza, we
- 54:28Speaker 3: would rub our faces around it and, like, chew it.
- 54:31Speaker 3: We wouldn't eat it. We weren't trying to die. But, like,
- 54:33Speaker 3: we would be silly because it was part of our characters.
- 54:35Speaker 2: We were modern. Yeah.
- 54:37Speaker 4: That would scare me more than a scary monster.
- 54:41Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, she's fucking eating it. That was why
- 54:44Speaker 3: we did it. Because we were dressed like pigs. And
- 54:46Speaker 3: so we would like root around in like... Because people
- 54:49Speaker 3: would scare....
- 54:51Speaker 2: Fuck.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Now I got to give context to this fucking story.
- 54:54Speaker 3: We weren't like, hey, I'm going to eat this thing
- 54:57Speaker 3: I found like on the ground forever. We were like...
- 55:01Speaker 3: We scared someone. They dropped a whole fresh pizza. It
- 55:03Speaker 3: slid out of the box and it was on the concrete.
- 55:06Speaker 2: And.
- 55:07Speaker 3: obviously we have to do this. Well, because if you
- 55:11Speaker 3: buy a whole pizza at Knott's and a monster comes
- 55:14Speaker 3: around the corner and frightens you and you drop the pizza,
- 55:17Speaker 3: they'll make you a new pizza because there's guest service.
- 55:21Speaker 3: But ultimately... It's a big win for you as the
- 55:24Speaker 3: monster that you frightened a $ 30 pizza out of someone's hands.
- 55:29Speaker 3: Poop and pee is real high up there. That ruins
- 55:32Speaker 3: your night. I've scared you so bad your night's over
- 55:35Speaker 3: or you have to buy expensive pants.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Expensive pants.
- 55:39Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 55:40Speaker 2: There's got to be a bonus in that for sure.
- 55:42Speaker 3: No, there's definitely not. There's for sure no bonus.
- 55:45Speaker 8: Would you say you like being the villain?
- 55:51Speaker 3: Are you trying to get me back to Blanche? I'm
- 55:53Speaker 3: getting this boat back on the rails of the water.
- 55:58Speaker 4: Floating away on the rails.
- 55:59Speaker 12: Getting this train back on the track.
- 56:02Speaker 4: Well, Timmy gave us our villain, but yeah, give us
- 56:04Speaker 4: quickly your villain.
- 56:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, Blanche was typically Blanche here. She was slutty,
- 56:11Speaker 3: a little judgy. She was trying to make things about her.
- 56:16Speaker 3: Stan didn't ask to spend more money on a ring
- 56:19Speaker 3: and clearly like he said I was coming over to
- 56:23Speaker 3: talk about the ring I think I spent too much
- 56:24Speaker 3: money on he was bankrupt like six episodes ago and
- 56:30Speaker 3: then like Blanche is like let's go get you a
- 56:32Speaker 3: more expensive ring with a larger diamond and so to
- 56:37Speaker 3: me I think her forcing him to spend the money
- 56:39Speaker 3: he clearly wasn't comfortable with he already had a ring
- 56:43Speaker 3: Was really the most villainous thing. That she did. In
- 56:48Speaker 3: addition to. Trying to half hobble. Rose.
- 56:52Speaker 2: So that she couldn't talk.
- 56:54Speaker 3: Those would be my two and only points. Because really Dorothy.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Is kind of the villain.
- 57:00Speaker 2: In this episode.
- 57:03Speaker 3: But Blanche did some snaky shit. That I didn't agree with.
- 57:07Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 57:07Speaker 4: Well done. Did I pick them up?
- 57:13Speaker 3: Yeah i mean that was pretty hard there's no prize
- 57:18Speaker 3: but you made it hard.
- 57:18Speaker 4: Do i get a point do i get a point
- 57:20Speaker 4: sure yeah we get a villain point.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Um i'll take it i'll take whatever i.
- 57:26Speaker 14: Can get get a point in a shoe here's automatic
- 57:30Speaker 14: here's automatic uh disqualification and then also uh-oh like Just back,
- 57:38Speaker 14: I can't, I'm not done with the Shuey thing.
- 57:40Speaker 3: Back to the Shuey thing real quick, and then we'll
- 57:42Speaker 3: say our goodbyes. I want to say that in the
- 57:47Speaker 3: list of people, like Post Malone was in there, right?
- 57:49Speaker 3: But also Luke Combs, Harry Styles, Machine Gun Kelly. And
- 57:55Speaker 3: that's really when I was like, I'm done with this list. Yeah,
- 57:59Speaker 3: that's who I expect to drink out of a shoe.
- 58:01Speaker 3: It's the others that I have any sense of disappointment for.
- 58:04Speaker 3: But here's where I actually came back. We need justice
- 58:08Speaker 3: for peer pressure victims of Shoei because Sir Patrick Stewart
- 58:18Speaker 3: was on the podium at the 2017 Grand Prix where,
- 58:25Speaker 3: say that guy's name again that I said wrong. Is
- 58:27Speaker 3: it Ricardo?
- 58:27Speaker 2: Daniel Ricardo.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Yeah. Ricardo pressured him into drinking champagne out of his
- 58:33Speaker 3: sweaty boot. And he did that again in the prior.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Year in 2016.
- 58:39Speaker 3: That same person, Ricardo, pressured Gerard Butler into drinking Red
- 58:46Speaker 3: Bull out of his stinky sweaty boot. So what I'm
- 58:50Speaker 3: learning is, is it's this one F1 driver that's like,
- 58:54Speaker 3: I think we need a support group for these actors
- 58:56Speaker 3: because Gerard Butler, whatever. But, like, Sir Patrick Stewart is a... No, look,
- 59:02Speaker 3: I love Gerard Butler, but, like, he could get talked
- 59:04Speaker 3: into some things, I think. Like, he seems like he'd
- 59:07Speaker 3: be trouble. Like, if he and I went out to
- 59:09Speaker 3: a club... for the night we would fuck shit up
- 59:12Speaker 3: and then make mistakes like 100% Sir Patrick Stewart's like
- 59:18Speaker 3: rolling up to a club like a baller but he's
- 59:20Speaker 3: gonna have an Earl Grey tea and like.
- 59:22Speaker 4: Be totally like chill and polite the whole time you
- 59:27Speaker 4: can't do shooies No one asked.
- 59:30Speaker 3: No one. He said yes because he's British and he
- 59:34Speaker 3: had to. That was bullying. So I want this driver handled.
- 59:39Speaker 2: That is peak peer pressure. Peak peer pressure for sure.
- 59:43Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely not.
- 59:45Speaker 2: That being said, again, I'll reiterate.
- 59:47Speaker 7: I'm pretty sure there's very few women on this planet
- 59:50Speaker 7: that would be peer pressured.
- 59:51Speaker 3: No, there's not a single woman on this list.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 59:54Speaker 3: There's not a single woman.
- 59:55Speaker 4: Because they look at you and go, what the fuck
- 59:56Speaker 4: is wrong with you?
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Proving once again how lower we are than women.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'm only surprised Quentin Tarantino didn't make
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: the top five famous people to drink out of his shoe.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: I know he'd do it in a second. He'd want
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: you to sweat in it all day on set and
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: then do it.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: This is me.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Yes, Abby.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: First of all, I just want to say that my
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: feet are delicious. I love them. And then also I
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: want to say the cheesecake stands alone. The cheesecake stands alone.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Hi-ho.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: There we go.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: The cheesecake stands alone. Thanks for coming on our show.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Tammy, do you have anything you want to plug or
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: tell people where they can find you? Only if you
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: want to.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Well, You know what? Yeah, I do.
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: Because I wanted to bring up that I actually have
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: my own podcast, which is a very old podcast.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: And it featured a very special guest, Erin, back in
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: the day. It was done under COVID conditions.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: What's the name of it? During lockdown. It is called
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Your Story, Our Story. All right. It's a podcast. There's
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: about six episodes, I think I did. Nico, who... I
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: don't know much from Nico. Oh, Nico.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: Nico Brown.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Yeah, he came on and did an episode.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: And it's just basically me interviewing people about their lives
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: and just their story.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: The idea is that we all have a story to
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: tell and that.
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: I wanted to talk to people who are not necessarily
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: just famous people or.
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: anyone in particular, but just like, you know, because everyone's
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: story is part of the greatest stories and I'm very
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: proud of it.
- 1:01:58Speaker 12: I keep talking about bringing it back and doing more.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: You should.
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: Maybe this will inspire you, yes.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: I've got everything I need to do it and I
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: still maintain the website six years later.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: I've been paying for it all this time.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: We should hire him to do our websites. I pay
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: for all this shit we don't do.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Yeah. I didn't know we had a website.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: Neither did I.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Oh, well, we don't have it on the lanai. I
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: didn't pay for that yet.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Oh, oh, oh. I'm like.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Everyone write to Timmy and tell him to restart his show.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: His podcast was, like, meaningful and thoughtful and, like.
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: I would love to see that come back.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I was very, very proud of it. Very proud of it.
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: I have actually, one of the things that killed it
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: for me was I did an episode, I'm really glad
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: I did, with my.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Grandfather before he passed away. And I somehow managed.
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: To butcher the audio on it really badly and didn't
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: record it properly.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: And so it was.
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: Very.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: There's probably, especially now with all the AI shit, there's
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: probably like some good tech out there that I can
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: use to restore it.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: And because it did record, it just was picking up
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: weird bird sounds on the background and all sorts of stuff.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: And so, yeah, so that kind of bummed me out
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: because I was.
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: Like, I'm going to have to fix this and it
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: wasn't going to be easy. So, but yeah, yeah, I'm
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: looking for something to put my time into. So maybe
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: I'll sit down and figure out how to do it.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I take volunteers as well.
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: So if anyone out there is listening and they hear
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: it and they would like to be on the show,
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: then please let me know. I think I give all
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: the details on the episodes. And it's on, I think,
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: most podcast feeds. Definitely on Apple. So, yeah.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Reach out if you want to be on.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: Not for anyone.
- 1:03:57Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: What about us, Miss Christen?
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Oh, you can reach us across all socials at onlonipod.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: And you can email us at onlonipod at gmail.com.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Abby, you got a cheesecake?
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry. I was here too early before. That's okay.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: I just was excited. So, okay. The cheesecake's ready now. Bye.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Let's go eat.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Bye.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: Say bye, Timmy.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Bye.
