- 0:01Speaker 1: Jared, you, Katy and Josh A horrible, horrible, horrible text
- 0:06Speaker 1: message from my sister yesterday.
- 0:08Speaker 2: What did it say?
- 0:09Speaker 3: Like?
- 0:09Speaker 1: When I saw it, I literally went and then I went, oh, no,
- 0:15Speaker 1: give me to read the first sentence. Hey, mom wants
- 0:20Speaker 1: to get family photos done this year.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I really thought something was wrong.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Bak is horrible? What are you Katie?
- 0:34Speaker 1: What's one of the worst messages you can get? And
- 0:37Speaker 1: then from there on there was a group text started
- 0:40Speaker 1: amongst me, my sister and her family, my parents, and
- 0:45Speaker 1: it's been non stop fighting in regards to the family
- 0:49Speaker 1: photos this year. How much it costs, Where are we
- 0:53Speaker 1: gonna go get it done?
- 0:55Speaker 4: What is everybody gonna wear?
- 0:58Speaker 2: Because you have to be like Max, Yeah, that kind
- 1:01Speaker 2: of thing.
- 1:02Speaker 1: NonStop anxiety about this entire thing. Not to mention it's stupid.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Why do we got to do this?
- 1:09Speaker 3: It is? It's stupid.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I know it's because these moments go by so quick.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Especially I can totally imagine your mom and your dad.
- 1:17Speaker 5: They want to immortalize this moment because when you're young
- 1:21Speaker 5: and you have your kids in the house, that can
- 1:24Speaker 5: seem like the longest stretch of your time, but in reality,
- 1:27Speaker 5: take it from somebody who's looking back on that point
- 1:30Speaker 5: in their life.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It goes by so quick, so I get it, whether
- 1:33Speaker 2: they are I'm.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Familiar with time, Yes for this.
- 1:36Speaker 2: No, you need tommortalize it. You need to get a picture.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Here's what I'll give you some dish.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I'll give you a picture.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Do the white T shirt with it, like I'm wearing
- 1:44Speaker 2: right now, white T shirt and jeans.
- 1:46Speaker 5: That's perfect for family pictures, every family or overall, everybody
- 1:51Speaker 5: wear overall.
- 1:52Speaker 1: It's the dumbest thing. When you walk into somebody's house
- 1:54Speaker 1: and you see that that goofy picture of on the
- 1:57Speaker 1: fireplace where everybody's wearing Matchie man pants and everything. It's
- 2:01Speaker 1: the dumbest thing. And I know you've probably got it
- 2:03Speaker 1: into your.
- 2:03Speaker 3: House to dude.
- 2:04Speaker 6: So my family, it was my last year of high school,
- 2:07Speaker 6: so senior year. They wanted to do it because they're like, oh,
- 2:09Speaker 6: our kids are growing up. My sister was already in college,
- 2:11Speaker 6: and we all decided to wear black because we did
- 2:14Speaker 6: the MATCHI Matchie and because of that, me, Jake and
- 2:18Speaker 6: my younger sister Haley all look like we're floating heads.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Floating head picture and it's immortalized. It's stupid.
- 2:27Speaker 1: And every time my sage crew in high school where
- 2:29Speaker 1: they have to grow all black, it's so dumb.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Everybody wear their favorite band T shirt.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And of course it's like, let's do it in Greeley.
- 2:36Speaker 1: My photographers in Greely like Greely. Okay, well, come at
- 2:40Speaker 1: me with your Greeley nonsense.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Better Red Golden, there's how many mountain peaks are we near?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Going mountains? Like, don't go to Greeley.
- 2:54Speaker 1: She's got small children. Their outfits and everything are going
- 2:57Speaker 1: to be literally destroyed by the time they make it
- 2:59Speaker 1: to really, you know how much like you're in and
- 3:01Speaker 1: boogers will be all over those kids.
- 3:03Speaker 2: You don't put those outfits on til you get there.
- 3:05Speaker 1: No, no, no, believe me. I've gotten the messages. Well,
- 3:08Speaker 1: we only have a certain amount of time.
- 3:10Speaker 4: We're on a time crunch.
- 3:11Speaker 1: We can't be wandering around red Rocks trying to find
- 3:14Speaker 1: the most perfect spot.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Well you you can't.
- 3:17Speaker 5: You you know, case the joint beforehand, you get the
- 3:21Speaker 5: spine before he exactly.
- 3:24Speaker 2: You just make sure you know what you're doing.
- 3:26Speaker 1: She goes, send me GPS coordinates of where you want
- 3:28Speaker 1: to do it. So I sent her the GPS coordinates
- 3:30Speaker 1: the southwest Plasmal.
- 3:32Speaker 3: That's good, the zoomy set off.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah, let's all go stand in front of the hot topic.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I'm for this.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I thought, Yes, you'll need to say you can go
- 3:43Speaker 1: in my place. We'll have this random family photo in
- 3:47Speaker 1: my parents' house with all the entire family and then
- 3:50Speaker 1: Katie in the middle with a big smile and a
- 3:52Speaker 1: goofy thumbs out this idea. So we came in this
- 3:55Speaker 1: morning and Katie showed us her a little Instagram post
- 3:57Speaker 1: and she's like, isn't this beautiful? And it was literally
- 4:01Speaker 1: just pitch black, and a couple of street lights were like,
- 4:04Speaker 1: what is this?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't see it.
- 4:07Speaker 5: It's because it's been so hot out. I've been running before,
- 4:11Speaker 5: you know the show. So I get up and first
- 4:13Speaker 5: thing I do in the morning is go on my
- 4:15Speaker 5: two mile run. I mean I'm talking get up, take
- 4:18Speaker 5: pajamas off, put workout clothes on.
- 4:20Speaker 3: And leave.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It's like that.
- 4:22Speaker 1: So it is what time in the morning, is that?
- 4:24Speaker 2: Three ten in the.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Morning and I go on my two mile run and yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 5: so I just it's so peaceful, it's so cool. I
- 4:32Speaker 5: tried last week to go on runs after the show
- 4:36Speaker 5: and those ninety degree naps. Oh my good, it's just
- 4:39Speaker 5: almost impossible. I had to stop so many times under
- 4:42Speaker 5: the shade just to regain my composure so I didn't
- 4:44Speaker 5: faint right there. Oh so yeah, So I was like, well,
- 4:48Speaker 5: maybe I'll start doing it before the show so it
- 4:51Speaker 5: can still be cool.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I can get my run in and feel good about it.
- 4:55Speaker 5: And I'm telling you Game Changer like, it makes me
- 4:58Speaker 5: feel so good.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I worry for your safety though that earlier in the morning,
- 5:02Speaker 1: you're running around in.
- 5:03Speaker 4: The pitch black.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Uh, single female out in the wild. You be careful.
- 5:09Speaker 6: No.
- 5:10Speaker 5: It's funny though, because when you guys mentioned that, I
- 5:12Speaker 5: feel like you're worried about somebody else coming up to
- 5:16Speaker 5: me and causing me harm.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Right, bear, there's bears out here.
- 5:23Speaker 2: There, there's bears.
- 5:24Speaker 5: And it's funny because one of our sales guys shout
- 5:27Speaker 5: out to Bruce. He's the only one who mentioned, are
- 5:30Speaker 5: you carrying bear spray with you?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Like he was the only one who.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Was worried about the animal aspect, And I do just
- 5:36Speaker 5: so you know, I'm running around with pepper spray right
- 5:39Speaker 5: there on my running pack, and so I'm ready. I
- 5:43Speaker 5: wish somebody would I'm just kidding. I don't I don't wish.
- 5:47Speaker 1: What happens is some street tough comes out and tries
- 5:50Speaker 1: to get you.
- 5:50Speaker 2: That pepper spray.
- 5:52Speaker 3: That is I don't think that's enough.
- 5:53Speaker 1: A false sense of security out that is not going
- 5:58Speaker 1: to stop anybody.
- 5:59Speaker 5: It is your stop people in their tracks.
- 6:02Speaker 1: There's multiple YouTube videos and I've seen all sorts of
- 6:05Speaker 1: stuff about if you got somebody coming at you in
- 6:09Speaker 1: the heat of the moment and you nail him with
- 6:10Speaker 1: pepper spray, a lot of the times they just keep coming.
- 6:13Speaker 1: If you're a police officer and you got a guy
- 6:15Speaker 1: coming at you with a knife and you shoot him,
- 6:16Speaker 1: he'll still keep coming after you.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Sometimes.
- 6:21Speaker 1: There's a great video going around right now too, where
- 6:23Speaker 1: there's this guy talking to these women on some back
- 6:26Speaker 1: trail somewhere and they feel threatened by him. Okay, whatever,
- 6:30Speaker 1: I don't know the backstory of the video.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Anyway, it turns out there's a moment in the video
- 6:35Speaker 1: where one of the girls grabs her bear spray and
- 6:37Speaker 1: straight up blast the guy in the face with the
- 6:40Speaker 1: bear spray, and he keeps coming at him, talking, waving
- 6:44Speaker 1: his fishing pull at him like he just keeps coming
- 6:47Speaker 1: at him. It's not full proof. I would get an
- 6:50Speaker 1: I'd get a machete.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Oh, taser's a good idea, but I've been convinced pepper
- 6:56Speaker 5: spray slash bear.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Spray is it?
- 6:58Speaker 1: And watch the videos on the tasers of guys with
- 7:00Speaker 1: the adrenaline going coming at you. Police officers pop those
- 7:04Speaker 1: guys with the tasers and they keep coming at you.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:06Speaker 4: So I'm just really concerned for you.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I feel like this could happen during the day.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I think you need none.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I I can't carry all this in my hip. That got.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Like an old time gangster. I think I want you
- 7:19Speaker 1: to go run a Tommy guy. Yeah, but I don't know.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I don't know what this. I would need somebody from
- 7:27Speaker 1: law enforcement to reach out, but I don't know what
- 7:29Speaker 1: the stats are of the pepper spray really stops somebody
- 7:32Speaker 1: or just pisses them off.
- 7:33Speaker 2: No, I think I'm doing okay. I honestly I am.
- 7:37Speaker 6: So.
- 7:37Speaker 5: I don't want to live my life afraid of what
- 7:39Speaker 5: can happen. I'm being safe. I'm making sure and even
- 7:44Speaker 5: where I'm running the street lights right, I mean, well.
- 7:47Speaker 1: It's easier to mug you when they can see their mugging.
- 7:51Speaker 4: That's that's doing.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I just I need to get that run in.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I do.
- 7:55Speaker 2: It makes me feel so much better. It clears my head.
- 7:57Speaker 1: You have a treadmill, you have access to your complex,
- 8:00Speaker 1: not a treadmill.
- 8:01Speaker 2: That's silly.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Like, I don't think even I would be out running
- 8:04Speaker 1: at three am on a dark path.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I know it's not that I think it's fine. I
- 8:08Speaker 2: think it's fine.
- 8:09Speaker 5: I'm doing all the things I need to do to
- 8:11Speaker 5: stay safe, and yeah, I really I'm in a safer neighborhood.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Like I think it's fine.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Are there other runners out there with you? Ever?
- 8:20Speaker 2: A person out there in these streets?
- 8:23Speaker 4: But why do I feel like it?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Why do I have on that in the heat of
- 8:28Speaker 1: the moment, you'd probably pull that pepper spray out and
- 8:32Speaker 1: it would be facing the wrong direction. You can't and
- 8:35Speaker 1: you'd fire it off right now.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It's foolproof. It's foolproof. You can't fire it back.
- 8:39Speaker 1: It'd be one of those situations where you start firing
- 8:42Speaker 1: it and then you're like running at the same time
- 8:44Speaker 1: and the wind would catch it would face.
- 8:49Speaker 2: An You have no faith in me whatsoever?
- 8:51Speaker 4: Really don't.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I'm pretty logical person. Jerry, so listen, you can.
- 8:58Speaker 4: I think you can seriously buy machete at Walmart.
- 9:01Speaker 2: So I'm not carrying a machette on my rock taser.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But machette's crazy.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Come on.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I don't know how we missed this, but yesterday was
- 9:10Speaker 1: National Junk Food Day. How did we miss that?
- 9:13Speaker 2: That's like our favorite day we celebrate.
- 9:17Speaker 1: We love junk food. I've got lists of things coming out.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Ohrida has announced the permanent return of their beloved Crispers Fries.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I guess that were discontinued three years ago, so they're
- 9:28Speaker 1: doing that. KFC is bringing back their popcorn chickens. Costco
- 9:34Speaker 1: has launched a new summer treat called the Lemon Blondie
- 9:37Speaker 1: Dessert bars. Applebee's is Chicken wantan Tacos?
- 9:42Speaker 5: Now?
- 9:43Speaker 1: Domino's you can order up a s'mores lava cake that's
- 9:47Speaker 1: now on the dessert menu.
- 9:49Speaker 2: What oh, I'm so hungry.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Here's the best one that I was reading. Buffalo Wild
- 9:55Speaker 4: Ring Wings.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Huh.
- 9:56Speaker 1: They are launching something called pop and Ranch.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Oh I saw that and I need to try it.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I saw one of my favorite try it.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Oh my popping ranch.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's savory ranch flavored popping candy like pop rocks,
- 10:12Speaker 1: like pop rocks that you sprinkle on your wings and
- 10:15Speaker 1: other menu items. Yes, so as you're eating your chicken wings,
- 10:19Speaker 1: it's there. They're popping in your mouth. Somebody said, is
- 10:23Speaker 1: it is an unexpected sensory experience that sounds wild and
- 10:28Speaker 1: tastes delicious.
- 10:29Speaker 5: That's kind of what the influencer I watched said. They
- 10:31Speaker 5: put it on their chicken tender and they opened their
- 10:34Speaker 5: mouth and was totally silent, and you could hear the
- 10:37Speaker 5: popping and everything, and they described it as not as
- 10:40Speaker 5: crazy as the candy, like it doesn't pop as hard,
- 10:43Speaker 5: but it's definitely like mind blowing a little because it's savory.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So it's awesome.
- 10:49Speaker 1: How horrible is our health in this country? Has anyone
- 10:55Speaker 1: looked around? Are you reading anything about the health.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Of this country?
- 10:59Speaker 2: I love it.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You've all got to die.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Beat us, give me another reason switch the.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Way in Buffalo Wild Wings was like, you know what
- 11:07Speaker 1: we need to do is we need to dump pop
- 11:10Speaker 1: rocks on our chicken wings for people and make it
- 11:13Speaker 1: taste like ranch.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Yes, I need to meet that person. I need to
- 11:20Speaker 5: beat the person who thought this up.
- 11:21Speaker 3: That's your future.
- 11:22Speaker 2: We can't love them.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Body, you get one body in this lifetime, and this
- 11:28Speaker 1: is what you're gonna do to it.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Stop with ranch, bro, Yeah, what are you talking about?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Kimmically induced popping ranch on a highly processed chicken wing.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Stop drop and pop it? Yeah right now is like
- 11:42Speaker 1: talk dirty to me more?
- 11:43Speaker 2: Je exactly tell me more about the popping ranch.
- 11:47Speaker 1: So listen. With all that being said, I am a
- 11:49Speaker 1: Cheetos slut, So, like, what is your go to junk food? Like,
- 11:54Speaker 1: if you had the chance, mine is truly gonna be
- 11:56Speaker 1: like a bag of the crunch of Cheetos. I think
- 11:58Speaker 1: I could pop with that bag open and just go
- 12:00Speaker 1: to town and it's gone before I know it.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Like me, it depends on if I'm in a sweet
- 12:05Speaker 5: or savory mood. But if it's savory it is potato
- 12:09Speaker 5: chips and dip.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I could nash a bag of chips.
- 12:12Speaker 5: And dip like you wouldn't believe, like taco chips, like
- 12:15Speaker 5: potato chips, blaze and dip like the French onion. Okay,
- 12:20Speaker 5: flat out, I could eat a whole bag and if
- 12:22Speaker 5: it's sweet, gushers.
- 12:24Speaker 6: Yeah, if it's sweet, I can hammer gushers.
- 12:28Speaker 2: A whole pack at once.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Sweet would probably be terramasoux.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Okay, I told you guys a few weeks ago, I
- 12:34Speaker 1: was standing in the kitchen in the middle of the
- 12:36Speaker 1: night with the terramasou on the counter eating it.
- 12:39Speaker 3: You would classy sweet tooth. Ye right, Katie's over here.
- 12:49Speaker 6: I can house beef jerky and it's just so ultra
- 12:52Speaker 6: processed and salty. But I can eat a pack like
- 12:55Speaker 6: the big Alberta packs in four seconds. And that's why
- 12:59Speaker 6: I go to Costco and get him, cause I can
- 13:00Speaker 6: get the two pound bags.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:02Speaker 4: I think my other craving generally is tied pods.
- 13:04Speaker 2: That explains a lot, though.
- 13:07Speaker 1: My bed so bubbly, so good, and you're clean inside.
