The Ebola Virus Spreading in The DR Congo w/ Maurice Carney
On today’s show, we turn our attention to the DR Congo where the Ebola virus has spread to a 7th district. The new numbers demonstrate 7200 cases, almost 4000 dead. Meanwhile the war rages on. Cat Brooks talks with Maurice Carney to debunk how the billionaire class and multinational corporations have been extracting massive wealth from Africa and undermining public health institutions and worsening the Ebola crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Maurice Carney is co-founder and Executive Director of the Friends of the Congo.
