• 0:20
were off the grid this weekend, here's what you

need to know as we roll into Monday. A pedestrian

• 0:31
yesterday. A man in his 40s was found in the
• 0:33
roadway and pronounced dead at the scene. The
• 0:36
coroner responded multiple vehicles were towed
• 0:39
as evidence and the lanes reopened early evening.
• 0:43
This investigation is ongoing. Elsewhere, late
• 0:47
Saturday night, officers were called to the 3000
• 0:49
block of Marysville Boulevard just after 2 a
• 0:52

• 0:56
evidence that there had been a shooting that
• 0:59
occurred, but no victims were found. Officers
• 1:02
cleared the scene, documented the evidence, and
• 1:05
the investigation remains active. Earlier that
• 1:09
evening, across town near North B Street and
• 1:13
Dos Rios Street, police contacted a suspect known
• 1:16
from a recent drug sale arrest. That encounter
• 1:20
led to the discovery of multiple bindles of narcotics
• 1:23
and illegally possessed loaded firearm. The suspect
• 1:28
was taken into custody on related charges. And
• 1:31
before the night wrapped up, officers conducted
• 1:33
a bicycle stop near 43rd Street and 4th Avenue.
• 1:37
Two individuals were contacted. Both were found
• 1:40
to have outstanding felony warrants and were
• 1:43
arrested on the spot. In other news, the Sacramento
• 1:47
District Attorney's Office says Daniel Robinson,
• 1:50
also known as Aurora Nova, was convicted on multiple
• 1:54
felony sex crimes against two children. He now
• 1:57
faces up to 162 years to life in prison. And
• 2:03
sentencing is set for January 23rd. In City Watch,
• 2:10
Sacramento has released its weekly homelessness
• 2:12
report. From December 1st to the 7th, the city
• 2:16
received 583 calls to 311, opening more than
• 2:21
  2 ,100 cases and closing nearly 3 ,000. Outreach
• 2:25
teams enrolled 115 people into services, placed
• 2:30
20 into shelter or navigation centers, and removed
• 2:33
more than 91 ,000 pounds of trash. Shelter space
• 2:37
does remain limited citywide. In weather, we're
• 2:43
looking at another foggy start with a high of
• 2:45
around 47. Hopefully, we'll get another peak

of sun late afternoon. In events, Elk Grove Community
