The Pentagon is collecting more information about the effects of blast exposure, GAO says it needs a clearer picture
As concerns about repeated blast exposure receive increasing attention, the Defense Department has launched several monitoring initiatives. but, GAO says the department has not fully assessed the personnel and resources needed to support those efforts into the future. Alyssa Hundrup, director on the Health Care team at the Government Accountability Office, led that review and joins me now with the details.
