Counting the Cost
In Luke 14:28 Jesus asked the crowd of people who were following him a very important question: " For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?"
In asking this question Jesus was referring to the price one will have to pay to follow Him. It was Matthew 16:24 that says " Then Jesus said unto His disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
