- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York. It's the Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: sim Own Show on seven tenor.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Well, and we'll get to the Epstein piles, we'll get
- 0:15Speaker 2: to the Milania movie. We'll get to Savannah Guthrie's mother
- 0:20Speaker 2: and the tragic story. We'll get to all sorts of
- 0:24Speaker 2: stuff today, we'll get to Mayor mom Donnie his screw
- 0:27Speaker 2: ups this week. Although give them credit for one thing.
- 0:29Speaker 2: They finally have started picking up the garbage. Remember I
- 0:32Speaker 2: told you yesterday right outside there on fifty sixth Street
- 0:35Speaker 2: was a mountain of garbage piled up about maybe twelve
- 0:40Speaker 2: fifteen feet high, and it went for like one hundred feet.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Well today it's gone. It's completely picked up. The whole
- 0:47Speaker 2: street totally clear of garbage. So they're starting to pick
- 0:50Speaker 2: it up a little late, but it's getting picked up now.
- 0:54Speaker 2: The mayor also screwing up everything left and right. We'll
- 0:58Speaker 2: get to that coming up. But the other thing now
- 1:00Speaker 2: is crazy Kathy Hokel, this ridiculous governor we have, has
- 1:05Speaker 2: picked her running mate, and she's chosen the former City
- 1:08Speaker 2: council speaker Adrian Adams far left wacko, who was just
- 1:15Speaker 2: a disaster in the city council. In fact, such a
- 1:17Speaker 2: far left wacko. She wanted to run for mayor but
- 1:20Speaker 2: couldn't get anywhere in the primary. Even Mom Donnie was
- 1:24Speaker 2: a better choice for voters than Adrian Adams. So it
- 1:27Speaker 2: tells you a lot about Kathy Hokel that she would
- 1:30Speaker 2: pick such a far left lunatic who's got a whole
- 1:34Speaker 2: history of defund the police, anti Semitic stuff, all sorts
- 1:37Speaker 2: of This is who Kathy Hokel has chosen to be
- 1:41Speaker 2: her partner. Now, this will help Bruce Blakeman a lot.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Who is the best choice for governor? He would be
- 1:47Speaker 2: the best governor. Blakeman a common sense, logical guy. He
- 1:52Speaker 2: is a governor. Basically, he's the county executive of Nassau
- 1:55Speaker 2: County and it's the best run county in America, lowest
- 1:58Speaker 2: crime rates, run county, hasn't raised taxes. So compare that
- 2:04Speaker 2: to Hochel and her new running mate, the crazy left
- 2:08Speaker 2: wing lunatic Adrian Adams. Now, this is something she's done
- 2:13Speaker 2: in order to win over the Mam Donnie crowd because
- 2:17Speaker 2: she's terrified off Mom Donnie. She's basically going to be
- 2:19Speaker 2: working for Mom Donnie, who has an army of campaign
- 2:23Speaker 2: people out there who could work against her and kill
- 2:26Speaker 2: any chance she has. So that's why she caved in.
- 2:29Speaker 2: That's why she appointed the left wing kook Adrian Adams,
- 2:33Speaker 2: probably at Mumdannie's suggestion, and return Mam Donnie just endorsed
- 2:38Speaker 2: her for governor. Now here's the other problem, Mam Donnie.
- 2:43Speaker 2: His big, big push is to get this tax increase
- 2:46Speaker 2: in New York. He wants to raise taxes. Now he
- 2:49Speaker 2: hasn't got the power to do it. The governor can
- 2:51Speaker 2: do it. He needs her to do it. So everybody's
- 2:54Speaker 2: assuming a deal has been made that she will after
- 2:59Speaker 2: the election. She'll pretend she's not going to raise taxes,
- 3:02Speaker 2: but then after the election she will raise them. And
- 3:04Speaker 2: that's why Mom Donnie has made this deal to endorse her.
- 3:09Speaker 2: So we'll keep an eye on that. It's an ugly
- 3:11Speaker 2: situation for hocal Hey. Cardinal Dolan leaves today. It's his
- 3:16Speaker 2: final day. The new Cardinal, Ronald Hicks, takes over the
- 3:20Speaker 2: installation later this afternoon. The good news is Cardinal Dolan
- 3:25Speaker 2: will stay around New York. He'll be active here in
- 3:27Speaker 2: the New York area. He will even conduct services at
- 3:31Speaker 2: other churches around New York. But he'll be around town.
- 3:35Speaker 2: That's the good news. Everybody loves him. Very very very
- 3:38Speaker 2: tough situation for this guy, Ronald Hicks to try to
- 3:42Speaker 2: fill those shoes. President Trump yesterday recorded an interview. You know,
- 3:47Speaker 2: it's a tradition in the Super Bowl, there's a big
- 3:52Speaker 2: presidential interview that goes with the super Bowl coverage. So
- 3:57Speaker 2: this year NBC has the Super Bowl and their new anchor,
- 4:03Speaker 2: Tom Yamas, who's doing very well, by the way, getting
- 4:06Speaker 2: better numbers than less they holed. But Tom Yamas, so
- 4:09Speaker 2: he'll sit down interview the President for about ten to
- 4:11Speaker 2: fifteen minutes. They actually recorded it yesterday. Nothing too earth
- 4:16Speaker 2: shattering in there, although the President said at one point
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yamas said to him about Minnesota, about ice, And give
- 4:24Speaker 2: you Amas credit. He did it very well. You know,
- 4:26Speaker 2: normally these fake news guys would make it into a
- 4:30Speaker 2: gotcha question and attack question. Will you admit now that
- 4:34Speaker 2: good which never gets you in answer that it never
- 4:39Speaker 2: works you just put the guy on the defensive. But
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yamas did the right way. He just said, what have
- 4:43Speaker 2: you learned from Minnesota? Just the perfect way to put it.
- 4:47Speaker 2: The shorter the question, the better, the less judgmental the question,
- 4:51Speaker 2: the better. So it's a perfect way to asking. President
- 4:53Speaker 2: Trump at one point said well, I learned we could
- 4:56Speaker 2: use a lighter touch. He said, you gotta be tough
- 4:58Speaker 2: with these guys. They're dangerous criminal those, but we could
- 5:01Speaker 2: have used we could use a softer touch. And that
- 5:05Speaker 2: goes along with him and Tom Holman pulling seven hundred
- 5:08Speaker 2: ICE officers out of Minnesota.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I have announced, effective immediately, we'll draw down seven hundred people,
- 5:16Speaker 3: effective today, seven hundred long enforcing personnel.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Now fake news will spin that well, and obviously they're
- 5:21Speaker 2: caving in. They're admitting it wrong. They're caving in and
- 5:24Speaker 2: not caving in. They've arrested four thousand dangerous criminal illegals
- 5:29Speaker 2: in Minnesota, four thousand of them already and that's basically
- 5:33Speaker 2: most of the ones that were after So the job
- 5:37Speaker 2: is like eighty percent done. The other reason they can
- 5:39Speaker 2: draw down is Mayor Fry and Tim Waltz have agreed
- 5:44Speaker 2: to cooperate with ICE now to lend them officers and support.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Put in some whenever there's going to be a demonstration,
- 5:52Speaker 2: put in some crowd control so ICE doesn't have to
- 5:54Speaker 2: do it. Also, they're going to start releasing prisoners who
- 5:58Speaker 2: are in jail two ice. Instead of Ice having a
- 6:02Speaker 2: run around the street and try to catch them, they'll
- 6:05Speaker 2: let them come to the jail and take them away.
- 6:09Speaker 2: One reason is a Waltz and Fry started to realize
- 6:13Speaker 2: they might be subject to criminal charges because they were
- 6:17Speaker 2: actually interfering with a law enforcement operations. So they will
- 6:19Speaker 2: now cooperate and that's the reason for the draw down.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I've said this many times. I've worked for six presidents
- 6:26Speaker 3: and ten administrations. When it comes to public safety, border security,
- 6:32Speaker 3: immigration enforcement, no one's done it better than President of Trump.
- 6:37Speaker 3: His success is unprecedented.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so things going well there, It'll get better, it'll
- 6:44Speaker 2: calm down even more so. Hey, the assassin. Remember there
- 6:50Speaker 2: was Butler Pennsylvania where the President got hit in the
- 6:54Speaker 2: side of the head, and then there was about was
- 6:58Speaker 2: it two weeks later the golf in Florida. An assassin
- 7:02Speaker 2: shows up with a big rifle and tries to assassinate
- 7:05Speaker 2: the president. Luckily Secret Service spot him ahead of time.
- 7:08Speaker 2: They capture the guy. Well, he was convicted yesterday. The
- 7:11Speaker 2: judge threw the book at him. Life in prison. He
- 7:15Speaker 2: was fighting to get like twenty seven years. He's actually
- 7:17Speaker 2: an older guy. He's about sixty. So life in prison
- 7:23Speaker 2: for the judge just said he was just an awful evil.
- 7:26Speaker 2: He was totally evil. He was a very bizarre guy
- 7:30Speaker 2: in the courtroom, very very bizarre, making faces at the judge,
- 7:35Speaker 2: really strange behavior, even his family a little kookie in
- 7:40Speaker 2: the courtroom. But the federal judge had no sympathy for
- 7:45Speaker 2: this guy at all. Yeah, life in prison. Assault rifle,
- 7:52Speaker 2: tried to kill the president. Yeah. Actually, this guy, his
- 7:57Speaker 2: name is Routh, even tried to stab himself off with
- 8:00Speaker 2: a pen in the courtroom, started cursing. Ralph's daughter stormed
- 8:05Speaker 2: out of the courtroom, well, cursing. But the judge had
- 8:08Speaker 2: no sympathy for them. And he's going away for life.
- 8:12Speaker 2: That's the good news.
- 8:13Speaker 4: The judge made a comment at the very end about
- 8:15Speaker 4: there was a sliver of good that came out of
- 8:18Speaker 4: this incident, And of course, there was nothing good in
- 8:20Speaker 4: this incident except for the fact of the heroic acts
- 8:23Speaker 4: of the secret Service agent that put himself in harm's way,
- 8:27Speaker 4: really in harm's way. This guy had an AK forty seven,
- 8:29Speaker 4: loaded twenty something rounds in the magazine, put himself in
- 8:32Speaker 4: harm's way and prevented a shooting.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yeah, so you you won't see this guy.
- 8:38Speaker 4: The defendant try to portray himself as a do gooder,
- 8:41Speaker 4: a victim, and I think the judge Cannon said it best.
- 8:44Speaker 4: She says, the evil is in you.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Mister ruth The evil is in you. Yeah. Hey, Savannah
- 8:50Speaker 2: Guthrie's mother. The latest, well, there's talk of a ransom
- 8:53Speaker 2: note and other reports saying they certain sources they saw
- 8:57Speaker 2: the ransom note. The ransom note looks well, and I
- 8:59Speaker 2: don't know if there is a ransom note. In fact,
- 9:01Speaker 2: it looks like most likely there isn't because the Guthrie
- 9:05Speaker 2: Savannah Guthrie and her family have put out a video
- 9:08Speaker 2: asking the kidnappers to talk to them. Savannahuthy is saying,
- 9:12Speaker 2: we're ready to talk. We need to know that she's alive.
- 9:15Speaker 2: So I don't think they would have put this videot
- 9:16Speaker 2: if there was a ransom note. President Trump spoke with
- 9:20Speaker 2: Savannah Guthrie and is giving her total complete help. The
- 9:24Speaker 2: FBI has been assigned, all FBI resources are on the case.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Cash but tel FBI directors even heading out there. There's
- 9:31Speaker 2: a lot the FBI can do because in a case
- 9:35Speaker 2: like this, you get a million false leads and a
- 9:38Speaker 2: little Pima County Sheriff's office doesn't have the resources, but
- 9:41Speaker 2: the FBI has begun taking care of this for him.
- 9:45Speaker 2: They'll track down all of these false leads. Then there's
- 9:48Speaker 2: a lot of leads that come from out of town,
- 9:50Speaker 2: out of state. FBI will do that. They've put a
- 9:53Speaker 2: lot of agents on this. Also, the FBI can help
- 9:57Speaker 2: expedite warrants. They can get access to the mother's digital
- 10:01Speaker 2: accounts and come through the cell tower data. They can
- 10:04Speaker 2: get all this done a lot faster than the locals can.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So big, big help there from from the president. And
- 10:13Speaker 2: we'll see she's on this medication, heart medicine, blood pressure medicine,
- 10:19Speaker 2: cardiac medicine. She's got a pacemaker. Doctors say, though you
- 10:23Speaker 2: can go a couple of weeks without, I mean it's
- 10:25Speaker 2: not good. It's anything can happen when you're not on
- 10:27Speaker 2: that medicine. But it's possible you could. You could last
- 10:31Speaker 2: a couple of weeks without it. So but they've got
- 10:33Speaker 2: to find her, and they've got to find her. So hey,
- 10:37Speaker 2: the Epstein Files. Stephen Colbert finds himself in the Epstein Files. Nah,
- 10:42Speaker 2: nothing bad. They just I've been reading. I started looking
- 10:46Speaker 2: up people I know in there just to see what
- 10:48Speaker 2: they were up to, and it was terrible. But then
- 10:51Speaker 2: I started. You go to the just just google Epstein files,
- 10:55Speaker 2: it'll take you to the Justice Department site where they
- 10:58Speaker 2: have it up. It's called Epstein Life Ibrary. There's a
- 11:01Speaker 2: search bar you can search for whoever you want in there.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'm searching all these people just for the hell butt.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I type my name and I come up in six
- 11:08Speaker 2: places in the Epstein files. Nothing bad, nothing bad. He's
- 11:13Speaker 2: talking about the show. At the one time he was
- 11:15Speaker 2: wanted to come to an event. I was the MC
- 11:18Speaker 2: nothing bad in there.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Oh.
- 11:20Speaker 2: But one time it was an email back and forth
- 11:22Speaker 2: between him and Jackie Martling, and it turns out Jackie
- 11:26Speaker 2: Martling was emailing him a lot. Epstein was a big
- 11:28Speaker 2: fan of comedians. You know a lot of these guys
- 11:32Speaker 2: that could have zillions of dollars, but there's still starstruck amateurs.
- 11:36Speaker 2: They're like groupies. And he's emailing all his friends how
- 11:39Speaker 2: excited he is he knows Jackie Martling. And then there's
- 11:41Speaker 2: one exchange where Jackie says, I would you like to
- 11:45Speaker 2: meet Gilbert Godfreed? I could bring him over. Epstein is
- 11:48Speaker 2: all excited, emailing everybody telling him he's going to meet
- 11:51Speaker 2: Gilbert Godfried, and then there's a couple others. He's all
- 11:54Speaker 2: excited he's going to meet. He became friends with the
- 11:57Speaker 2: comedian Bobby Slayton. I know the name. He's a very
- 12:01Speaker 2: good comedian, Nick DePaulo. So he mee Epstein and having
- 12:05Speaker 2: these guys over at his house for dinner, going out
- 12:08Speaker 2: with them. Hey. The other thing is that has his
- 12:11Speaker 2: American Express bills. I don't know why, but he put
- 12:13Speaker 2: all his American Express bills on his computer. So you
- 12:19Speaker 2: can go through his American Express bills. It's pretty interesting
- 12:22Speaker 2: to see what restaurants everything. I was at the Beach
- 12:25Speaker 2: Cafe last Night's great restaurant on Second Avenue. Look them up.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Sure enough, Epstein came there a bunch of times, a
- 12:34Speaker 2: bunch of times. So if you want to have fun,
- 12:36Speaker 2: just and hey, there's a big law from one of
- 12:39Speaker 2: the biggest law firms in New York. The CEO, the
- 12:42Speaker 2: chairman of off. He's been there for many years. He's
- 12:44Speaker 2: all over these Epstein files. Very very chummy with Epstein.
- 12:49Speaker 2: So I believe he stepped down yesterday. He actually had
- 12:52Speaker 2: to resign from the law firm over this. Bill Gates
- 12:55Speaker 2: is all through this. Now. The other thing is Epstein
- 13:01Speaker 2: was very big on doctors. He was busy with all
- 13:03Speaker 2: kinds of doctors, and he was also getting doctors for
- 13:06Speaker 2: his friends. I mean, but in there you see that
- 13:08Speaker 2: Epstein had a lot of sexually transmitted diseases, He had
- 13:12Speaker 2: a lot of gonorrhea. He had everything he'd have. He
- 13:14Speaker 2: had tons and tons. And now there was one report
- 13:19Speaker 2: that came out that Bill Gates, who was a frequent
- 13:24Speaker 2: visitor there to the Epstein house, contracted to some std
- 13:29Speaker 2: and needed some help getting rid of him. Now Bill
- 13:33Speaker 2: Gates says, all of this stuff is not true.
- 13:35Speaker 6: The email is, you know, false. It just reminds me,
- 13:39Speaker 6: you know, every minute I spent with him, I regret
- 13:41Speaker 6: and I apologized that I did that.
- 13:44Speaker 2: There you go, very convincing, I am, and that's a
- 13:47Speaker 2: false I didn't do it. But see the problem with
- 13:51Speaker 2: the Gates. Epstein was a wealthy guy, and he was
- 13:54Speaker 2: throwing money around left and right. The other thing you
- 13:56Speaker 2: see in these emails, all the college presidents are catering
- 13:59Speaker 2: to him, These college presents all running to see him
- 14:02Speaker 2: because he became a big donor. He'd give millions and
- 14:04Speaker 2: millions and millions to the college or something with the doctors.
- 14:06Speaker 2: He donate millions to these hospitals and they'd get him
- 14:10Speaker 2: whatever he needed. So Bill Gates claims that he was
- 14:13Speaker 2: meeting with Epstein to get some help with his charity work.
- 14:17Speaker 2: His charity. There were there for charity work. You know,
- 14:22Speaker 2: if you're doing charity work and you're trying to raise money,
- 14:25Speaker 2: you don't go to Jeffrey Epstein's house. You might go
- 14:26Speaker 2: to the Ford Foundation, you might go see the Rockefeller
- 14:29Speaker 2: Foundation to get money, get a grant. You don't go
- 14:31Speaker 2: to Epstein's house. Also, what was Epstein worth two hundred million?
- 14:37Speaker 2: Bill Gates is worth two hundred billion, two hundred billion.
- 14:41Speaker 2: What the hell would he needed money from Epstein for?
- 14:43Speaker 2: So what was he doing there? Well, never know, And I.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Never went to the island.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I never met any women.
- 14:49Speaker 6: And so you know, the more that comes out, the
- 14:50Speaker 6: more clear it'll be that although the time was a mistake,
- 14:55Speaker 6: it had nothing to do with that kind of behavior.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yea, I don't met any women. First of all,
- 15:02Speaker 2: anytime you went to Epstein's house, there were a lot
- 15:05Speaker 2: of women not underage. Epstein liked the underage women. That
- 15:09Speaker 2: was his thing. But if you went to his parties
- 15:11Speaker 2: as events, his things, there were always a lot of
- 15:13Speaker 2: women of all ages there. And nobody's buying this Bill Gates' story.
- 15:18Speaker 2: First of all, I'm on the board of a lot
- 15:21Speaker 2: of charities. I work with a lot of charities. Up
- 15:23Speaker 2: into these meetings where your fundraise, you go have a meeting.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Sometimes it's in a conference room, sometimes it's at the
- 15:28Speaker 2: guy's house. And these meetings always always take a half hour.
- 15:35Speaker 2: If it's a big intense meet why it could take
- 15:38Speaker 2: an hour? That's it now. The record shows Bill Gates
- 15:42Speaker 2: visiting Epstein's house and staying for about seven hours. Eight hour.
- 15:46Speaker 2: That's not a meeting about the donation. You're not there
- 15:49Speaker 2: seven hours, that's impossible. It caused missus Gates, Melinda Gates,
- 15:53Speaker 2: to leave. That was the end of the marriage. She's
- 15:56Speaker 2: still upset.
- 15:57Speaker 7: Whatever questions remain there of what I don't can't even
- 16:01Speaker 7: begin to know all of it. Those questions are for
- 16:03Speaker 7: those people and for even my ex husband. They need
- 16:06Speaker 7: to answer to those things, not me.
- 16:08Speaker 2: No, tell the truth. Can you tell the difference between
- 16:11Speaker 2: the wife's voice and Bill Gates's voice?
- 16:13Speaker 6: The email is uh, you know false.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Now the wife sounds just.
- 16:17Speaker 7: Like whatever questions remain there of what I am a
- 16:20Speaker 7: little different, don't can't even begin to know all of it,
- 16:23Speaker 7: but she's left.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Anyway, We'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two
- 16:27Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 16:31Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Set up, pre said on the iHeartRadio app to douboor
- 16:37Speaker 1: to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to
- 16:41Speaker 1: hear him anytime. Now back to Mark Simone on dou woor.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Terry in
- 16:52Speaker 2: Baside Terry, how you doing?
- 16:56Speaker 8: Oh?
- 16:56Speaker 2: Hi, mapp eighty every day this guy has a different aim,
- 17:00Speaker 2: a different something. Let's go to Walter in Forest Hills, Walter,
- 17:04Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 17:06Speaker 8: Hi?
- 17:06Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark, how are you good? I wanted to
- 17:09Speaker 9: make a comment on the snow cleanup. You know, I
- 17:11Speaker 9: was talking to some of the sanitation guys hanging out
- 17:14Speaker 9: at the coffee shop and they mentioned, you know, the
- 17:18Speaker 9: city this year directed them that they never had to
- 17:21Speaker 9: do this before, but they had to clean and make
- 17:23Speaker 9: a priority clean every bike lane in the city. It
- 17:28Speaker 9: had to be perfectly clear, so you know, the city
- 17:32Speaker 9: You got to remember, over the past couple of years,
- 17:33Speaker 9: they put these bike lanes down Queens Boulevard the entire
- 17:37Speaker 9: length all over green Point Williamsburg. These little side street
- 17:41Speaker 9: you got bike lanes, and the bike lanes are protected,
- 17:44Speaker 9: so you know, you got these stanchions put up concrete barriers.
- 17:47Speaker 9: So the city bought these like little snowplow machines for
- 17:51Speaker 9: the sanitation guys to use. It's like a quarter of
- 17:55Speaker 9: the size of a street sweeper. Yeah, they really didn't
- 17:58Speaker 9: work out too well. One of them overturned on the
- 18:00Speaker 9: FDR drive. You know, it was just they're not made
- 18:03Speaker 9: for that. It's made for like a mole parking lot,
- 18:05Speaker 9: they said. So they said, you know, just to push
- 18:08Speaker 9: that amount of snow with that machine, they had to
- 18:10Speaker 9: bring in, you know, really manual labor. Have you douty
- 18:13Speaker 9: your pa.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Well, there's some truth to that, but you know, they
- 18:16Speaker 2: have not cleared the city bike installations. In fact, there's
- 18:19Speaker 2: three thousand city bike installations. Only five hundred of them
- 18:23Speaker 2: are working right now because twenty five hundred of them
- 18:25Speaker 2: are buried in snow. So they haven't helped the bike population.
- 18:30Speaker 2: They've for whatever reason, left those affect city bank. A
- 18:34Speaker 2: city bike is furious about that losing the fortune. How
- 18:37Speaker 2: are the streets and forest hills, They're good.
- 18:40Speaker 9: You know, the main streets that the thing is on
- 18:42Speaker 9: the side streets you have just you know, because people
- 18:45Speaker 9: clearing out the driveways. When they clear out the driveways,
- 18:48Speaker 9: these big mountains of snow in the stream, huge mountains.
- 18:52Speaker 9: It's just going to stay there until it mountains, you know.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and all right, well.
- 18:56Speaker 9: Fortunately we have a driveways.
- 19:00Speaker 2: All right, Well, thanks for calling Walter. Yeah, you got
- 19:03Speaker 2: another other problem is Friday night into Saturday morning, he
- 19:07Speaker 2: could have one inch of snow. It's not going to
- 19:09Speaker 2: be much, but it could be some snow Friday night
- 19:13Speaker 2: into Saturday morning, up to about one inch. If you're way,
- 19:16Speaker 2: way way out in Long Island, you could get over
- 19:19Speaker 2: an inch. But the other problem is sat. Friday night
- 19:23Speaker 2: Saturday is going to be extremely cold, worse than what
- 19:26Speaker 2: you've been through in the last seventeen days. Friday night
- 19:29Speaker 2: Saturday Saturday night may be the single coldest day and
- 19:33Speaker 2: night of the entire winter. But then next week it
- 19:36Speaker 2: goes back into the thirties. That should get back to
- 19:38Speaker 2: the normal. Let's go to Paul in Boston, Paul, how
- 19:41Speaker 2: you doing?
- 19:43Speaker 8: Bye? Mock mock?
- 19:44Speaker 10: Why don't you have he's trying.
- 19:47Speaker 2: To say, is how I hate to break. We can't
- 19:53Speaker 2: take your call anymore. No more Paul from Boston ever. Ever, Again,
- 19:57Speaker 2: that's the same call from yesterday. He's talking about some
- 19:59Speaker 2: of list nor nobody ever heard of. So no more
- 20:02Speaker 2: Paul from Boston. You're done. Paul. You can call, but
- 20:05Speaker 2: we won't put you on the air anymore.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 2: So yeah, it's not even a Paul from Boston. They
- 20:14Speaker 2: just changed their voice. The problem is, if you want
- 20:17Speaker 2: to do that kind of stuff, you got to get
- 20:20Speaker 2: rid of the accent. You know, when you got that accent,
- 20:22Speaker 2: everybody can recognize your voice instantly. You can't fool anybody.
- 20:26Speaker 2: That's the problem. Hey, the super Bowl is Sunday, so
- 20:30Speaker 2: you might want to bear that in mind. If you're
- 20:32Speaker 2: going to a super Bowl party or that kind of stuff,
- 20:34Speaker 2: you're going to overeat like crazy, you might want to
- 20:37Speaker 2: plan ahead the very little eating on Saturday. Eat real
- 20:40Speaker 2: light Friday and Saturday. Get ready for that. Hey, the
- 20:43Speaker 2: Milania movie, the Milania documentary, it's out there. It's in theaters.
- 20:48Speaker 2: You can go see it. You know, it's the number
- 20:50Speaker 2: two film in America right now, and if you read
- 20:53Speaker 2: all the left wing fake news media though, it's not
- 20:56Speaker 2: doing well, it's a blow. What the it's not reaching
- 20:59Speaker 2: the the number two film in America right now. If
- 21:04Speaker 2: you take the list of the top grossing films, it's
- 21:07Speaker 2: number two for the week, number two. That's that's huge,
- 21:12Speaker 2: huge for a documentary. It's made over ten million dollars already.
- 21:17Speaker 2: The only problem with it they there's a theater in Oregon.
- 21:19Speaker 2: You know, Oregon's like a left wing kook kind of
- 21:22Speaker 2: a place, so you know it's Amazon. Amazon's behind the
- 21:27Speaker 2: Milania movie. So it was playing in a big theater
- 21:30Speaker 2: and apparently the local employees at the theater, remember they're
- 21:33Speaker 2: all left wing kooks out there, put terrible things on
- 21:37Speaker 2: the marquee. It had the title to the film, but
- 21:39Speaker 2: then they put these insulting things about Milania on the
- 21:42Speaker 2: marquee next to the title. So Amazon has pulled the
- 21:47Speaker 2: film out of that theater. Now I think that's it.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I'll just pull the film and leave the theater alone.
- 21:54Speaker 2: But when you're a movie theater, you need to do
- 21:57Speaker 2: business with Amazon with a lot of films. So it's
- 21:59Speaker 2: a big mistake. You've seen this happen. We're local employees
- 22:03Speaker 2: go nuts. Remember that Hilton in Minnesota where they refuse
- 22:07Speaker 2: to allow ice agents to stay there even though they
- 22:09Speaker 2: had a reservation. They turned them away. Hilton fired the hotel,
- 22:14Speaker 2: they took their name off it. They you know, when
- 22:16Speaker 2: you become a build a nice hotel, you make a
- 22:19Speaker 2: deal with Hilton to put the name all over it,
- 22:21Speaker 2: promote it, run it, call it a Hilton. So Hilton
- 22:24Speaker 2: walked away from this local hotel. So now these guys
- 22:27Speaker 2: have a blank hotel with no name, no help from Hilton,
- 22:31Speaker 2: no use of Hilton's reservation services or anything. So it's
- 22:35Speaker 2: a mess for them. Hey, when we come back the
- 22:37Speaker 2: hunt for Steve Moore, we hope we'll be talking to
- 22:40Speaker 2: him next. Steve Moore coming up, the Great Economist. Lots
- 22:44Speaker 2: to talk to him about, and we'll do that in
- 22:46Speaker 2: just a second on seven to ten Worst.
- 22:50Speaker 11: All Marks among Show on seven ten wr Well.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Great Economist Steve Moore. Of course, Rita's columns, you see
- 22:58Speaker 2: them all over in television. Make sure you get his book,
- 23:01Speaker 2: The Trump Economic Miracle. It's an important book. And also
- 23:05Speaker 2: he runs the Committee to Unleash Prosperity they put out
- 23:09Speaker 2: the best daily briefing, news analysis. It's free. It'll come
- 23:13Speaker 2: right to your email. Just go sign up. Go to
- 23:15Speaker 2: unleash prosperity dot com. Unleash prosperity dot com. Steve Moore,
- 23:20Speaker 2: how you doing, Mark?
- 23:23Speaker 11: I'm doing great.
- 23:24Speaker 8: You know, the economy is doing well. Everything's headed in
- 23:28Speaker 8: a good direction. If we could get rid of some
- 23:30Speaker 8: of the high taxes in all these blue states, because
- 23:34Speaker 8: the red states.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Are un great.
- 23:35Speaker 8: But every time I turn around, you've got another Democratic
- 23:39Speaker 8: governor who's talking about raising taxes.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Hey, will you explain the Super Bowls coming up? Seattle Seahawks.
- 23:44Speaker 2: This crazy governor there Seattle. He wants to put a
- 23:49Speaker 2: tax on the players, like an extra ten.
- 23:52Speaker 8: Is at just the time they're finally going to the
- 23:55Speaker 8: Super Bowl. I think this is their third Super Bowl
- 23:57Speaker 8: in what fifty years? And now want to put the
- 24:00Speaker 8: tax on the team and the players. And so how
- 24:03Speaker 8: are you going to get all the good players to
- 24:04Speaker 8: come to Seattle if you're going to put an income
- 24:06Speaker 8: tax on their not just the Seattle players, but when
- 24:12Speaker 8: you know a player comes in from another team and
- 24:14Speaker 8: plays in Seattle, they'd have to pay the day nine
- 24:17Speaker 8: and a half percent income tax.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Is that even legal that you're just visiting to play
- 24:21Speaker 2: a game and you get taxed by a state.
- 24:23Speaker 8: It is legal, and in fact, there are other I think
- 24:26Speaker 8: New York does this by the way. I think you know,
- 24:28Speaker 8: when a player, you know, baseball player goes and plays
- 24:30Speaker 8: in the Yankees, they have to pay ten percent income
- 24:33Speaker 8: tax on the money that they earn in New York,
- 24:36Speaker 8: which I don't think should be legal, but it is.
- 24:39Speaker 8: But but you know, here's the thing. Washington State doesn't
- 24:42Speaker 8: have income tax, So what they're talking about is a
- 24:45Speaker 8: discriminary tax just on the people who play sports in
- 24:51Speaker 8: Washington State. So you know what a sad commentary right
- 24:54Speaker 8: before their great moment where they're in the in the
- 24:57Speaker 8: Super Bowl on Sunday.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Why would you even do that? Wouldn't that pretty much
- 25:00Speaker 2: pushed these Seahawks to move to another city?
- 25:03Speaker 8: Yes, yes, exactly right. You know, taxes have consequences, and
- 25:07Speaker 8: so you know, if you want to try to get
- 25:09Speaker 8: the top players, I don't think they're gonna be too
- 25:13Speaker 8: you know, interested in going to Seattle if they pay
- 25:15Speaker 8: a big tax every time they play a game there.
- 25:17Speaker 2: So that means next year they'll be the Austin Seahawks.
- 25:20Speaker 8: So well, you know, Austin is the largest city, is
- 25:26Speaker 8: now one of the ten largest cities in America, which
- 25:29Speaker 8: is kind of amazing when you think about it. It
- 25:30Speaker 8: used to be a cowtown twenty five years ago.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Wow. So, as you said, the economy is doing well,
- 25:38Speaker 2: everything's but it doesn't always show up in the polling.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Fake news the media have convinced a lot of people
- 25:44Speaker 2: the economies in trouble. What can the president do for
- 25:47Speaker 2: better messaging?
- 25:49Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, it's a problem there. We had something
- 25:51Speaker 8: in the hotline today and I hope all your listeners
- 25:54Speaker 8: get that. Just go to Least prosperity a com and
- 25:56Speaker 8: sign up for free and you get here every morning
- 25:59Speaker 8: an email to you. But the poets are bad, you know.
- 26:02Speaker 8: Fox News poll just came out saying, you know, Republicans
- 26:05Speaker 8: are as unpopular as they've been ever since they've done
- 26:08Speaker 8: the poll over the last twenty five years. And people
- 26:11Speaker 8: are just angry about you know, prices, and you know,
- 26:15Speaker 8: they they're still some you know, leftover resentment about what
- 26:19Speaker 8: happened in Minneapolis. But you know that if you look
- 26:21Speaker 8: at the economy, you look at the objective evidence, it's
- 26:24Speaker 8: a proven economy five percent growth. You know, the economy
- 26:27Speaker 8: has grown at four percent growth for the last for
- 26:30Speaker 8: the last you know, nine months. So you know, we've
- 26:35Speaker 8: got price the inflation rate is coming down. We got
- 26:38Speaker 8: an all time high on the NASDAC, the S and
- 26:40Speaker 8: P five hundred, and the Dow Jones. People's four one
- 26:43Speaker 8: k plans are going up. Gas prices have followed by
- 26:45Speaker 8: a dollar gallon. I mean, it's a healthy economy. The
- 26:48Speaker 8: people for some reason aren't feeling the love.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Tariffs are coming down, and I think the price the
- 26:53Speaker 2: cost of the tariff.
- 26:54Speaker 8: Yes, and people are getting a big discount on their
- 26:59Speaker 8: taxes because of the big beautiful bill. Republicans are just
- 27:02Speaker 8: bad salesmen. You know, They've got a great product. They
- 27:05Speaker 8: just know how to sell it.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but what do you do when the fake news?
- 27:08Speaker 2: You know a lot of people they just see the
- 27:10Speaker 2: nightly news on the network, they read the newspaper, and
- 27:13Speaker 2: they don't realize that they're getting the most slanted coverage.
- 27:16Speaker 2: How do you fight that?
- 27:19Speaker 8: You know, we have alternative media now, and we have
- 27:22Speaker 8: other prices. People can get the news, and I think
- 27:25Speaker 8: Republicans just have a better way of getting that real
- 27:29Speaker 8: story out there. And look, you know, we've had a
- 27:32Speaker 8: biased media for a long long time, as you know, Mark,
- 27:36Speaker 8: I mean, you know, we thankfully we have shows like
- 27:39Speaker 8: yours to tell people the truth, but a lot of
- 27:41Speaker 8: people get it through the filter of of you know,
- 27:45Speaker 8: CNN and MSNBC and the well New York Times, et cetera.
- 27:50Speaker 8: They don't report on the good news that's happening in
- 27:52Speaker 8: the economy. They just won't. So we should call it
- 27:56Speaker 8: the hate Trump media, you know, that's what we've got.
- 27:59Speaker 2: The TDS news. So right, so you said four percent growth,
- 28:05Speaker 2: it's possible will hit five percent growth, right, and this
- 28:08Speaker 2: could be a boomy at our.
- 28:10Speaker 8: Buddy Larry Cudler, our buddy Larry Kudler says, we're going
- 28:13Speaker 8: to get that. We'll see, we'll get a report out
- 28:15Speaker 8: sometime in the next week on what the fourth quarter was,
- 28:17Speaker 8: but the first of last year. But so far this year,
- 28:21Speaker 8: you know, things are doing very well too. So I'm
- 28:25Speaker 8: here to tell you things are going to continue to
- 28:26Speaker 8: get better, folks, And we've got an economy that is
- 28:29Speaker 8: Trumpmics is working. By the way, there's a great book
- 28:31Speaker 8: called Trumpics, yeah, by me and our laughers. So if
- 28:39Speaker 8: you want to know why the economy is really performing,
- 28:41Speaker 8: go to Unleashed Posterity dot com and get our book.
- 28:45Speaker 8: But look, you know, we got the big beautiful tax bill.
- 28:47Speaker 8: We've got terrorists coming down, so that means prices are
- 28:50Speaker 8: going to come down from that. We've got, you know,
- 28:52Speaker 8: gas prices continue to fall all over the country. That's
- 28:56Speaker 8: like a tax cut. I just think this guy is
- 29:00Speaker 8: is hitting all the right buttons when it comes to
- 29:03Speaker 8: the economy in terms of people are going to get
- 29:06Speaker 8: a bigger pay check this year because of the big
- 29:09Speaker 8: beautiful tax bill.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Yeah, and revenue is up. Is it possible?
- 29:13Speaker 8: Yeah? But definit is down? Definit is down. Budget.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Is it possible by the end of his term he
- 29:18Speaker 2: could balance the budget?
- 29:20Speaker 8: Oh my god, that's you know, I don't know, that's
- 29:22Speaker 8: a big mountain to climb. We're at one point eight
- 29:25Speaker 8: billion dollars annual budgets, so that would be quite an achievement.
- 29:29Speaker 8: But if anybody can do it, Donald Trump. Because you know,
- 29:31Speaker 8: one thing about that one of the reasons in media,
- 29:33Speaker 8: this is my hypothesis, why is the media to hate
- 29:35Speaker 8: Trump so much? Because he always proves them wrong?
- 29:39Speaker 2: You know, So, Hey, Democrats, why are they still fighting
- 29:44Speaker 2: this voter I D thing you need ID. Everywhere else
- 29:46Speaker 2: in the world, every other country has a voter ID.
- 29:49Speaker 2: How could they still fight this.
- 29:51Speaker 8: Because that's how they win elections because voter fraud is rampant,
- 29:57Speaker 8: especially in blue states and cities. By the way, we
- 30:00Speaker 8: have a pretty cute cartoon in our hotline this morning,
- 30:04Speaker 8: and it has you know, you know how people wear
- 30:06Speaker 8: those eye voted things, And it has the elephant looking
- 30:09Speaker 8: at the donkey, you know, the donkey the Democrat and
- 30:13Speaker 8: the guy and the donkey has you know, a jacket
- 30:15Speaker 8: on and it has like twenty five I voted and
- 30:20Speaker 8: he goes, oh, no, I know you don't want to
- 30:22Speaker 8: vote ideas. So look, they they take advantage of the system.
- 30:27Speaker 8: And how many illegal niverse do you think are voting?
- 30:30Speaker 8: They don't want honest elections because they can't win honest elections.
- 30:34Speaker 8: I believe, I really believe that.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Yeah. So and Kevin warsh new fed share the guy
- 30:41Speaker 2: great love, It's going to be great.
- 30:43Speaker 8: He is a he is a Steve Moore uh and
- 30:47Speaker 8: Art Laugher and Mark Simone free market supply sider.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah, he'll be excellent. And it was a good choice
- 30:54Speaker 2: because the accusation that the president will pick someone too
- 30:58Speaker 2: close to him, a puppet. That's not Worsh. Worsh has
- 31:01Speaker 2: been pretty independent and.
- 31:03Speaker 8: You know what, Worsh, he's going to be independent, and
- 31:05Speaker 8: he is you know what he's going to do. He's
- 31:06Speaker 8: going to bring inflation down to the two percent target,
- 31:09Speaker 8: which is the best thing he could possibly do for Trump.
- 31:12Speaker 8: And he is going to maintain America's dominance as the
- 31:16Speaker 8: world reserve currency. And that's such an advamage mark that
- 31:19Speaker 8: we have over the rest of the world. Everybody around
- 31:21Speaker 8: the world they trade in dollars. If it's anything international,
- 31:26Speaker 8: it's all done in dollars. And that's a big advantage
- 31:28Speaker 8: to all of us as Americans. It makes our dollar
- 31:32Speaker 8: worth more and it makes America the number one globally
- 31:36Speaker 8: dominant country.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so Worsh takes over a couple months, So how
- 31:39Speaker 2: soon can he make that rate change? Sorry, when Worsh
- 31:44Speaker 2: takes over a couple months, how long before he can
- 31:46Speaker 2: change lower the rate?
- 31:48Speaker 12: Oh?
- 31:49Speaker 8: Well, you know what I want him to do. You
- 31:50Speaker 8: talk about lowering rates, what I want. What I want
- 31:53Speaker 8: him to do is clean house over there at the
- 31:55Speaker 8: Federalserve War. It's the most corrupt place. And as we
- 31:58Speaker 8: said in the feder Reserve Board, you know, do they
- 32:00Speaker 8: really need three thousand people in Washington running the monetary system.
- 32:04Speaker 8: I mean, come on, they could do it with three hundred.
- 32:07Speaker 8: So you know, and by the way, that all those
- 32:08Speaker 8: people are against as you know, they're all against Kevin
- 32:11Speaker 8: worsh So I've been urging him to clean house when
- 32:14Speaker 8: he gets there, and I think that's exactly what he's
- 32:16Speaker 8: going to do.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Very good idea. Hey, everybody get Steve Moore's book. The
- 32:20Speaker 2: latest book is The Trump Trump Economic Miracle and the

- 33:26Speaker 2: he'll be with us. He'll be our guest here in
- 33:29Speaker 2: the next hour, coming up on seven ten wor.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Now more marks alone on seven ten wor.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Well. Hey, it's getting a little better garbage wise. As
- 33:44Speaker 2: I mentioned just there out there on that side of
- 33:47Speaker 2: the building fifty sixth Street, all the garbage has been
- 33:50Speaker 2: picked up, mountains and mountains of it for days. It's
- 33:53Speaker 2: all gone. It all got picked up yesterday last night.
- 33:57Speaker 2: That's good news. Hopefully this continues. Hey. You know, so
- 34:00Speaker 2: all that fraud in Minnesota, they discovered about nineteen billion
- 34:05Speaker 2: in fraud, those fake daycare centers, all that stuff. Now,
- 34:09Speaker 2: you can always count on the real network News, Big News,
- 34:14Speaker 2: New York Times, Washington Posts, the big networks. You can
- 34:17Speaker 2: always count on them not to cover news, especially if
- 34:21Speaker 2: it makes Democrats look bad. Literally literally hide half the
- 34:26Speaker 2: news from you if it doesn't fit the narrative, so
- 34:28Speaker 2: they refuse to cover the story. They won't even look
- 34:31Speaker 2: at it. And you got this kid, this twenty three
- 34:34Speaker 2: year old or whatever he is, Nick Shirley, with his
- 34:37Speaker 2: video camera, who went out there and discovered all this
- 34:39Speaker 2: and exposed all this in Minnesota. I mean this kid
- 34:43Speaker 2: this Remember Woodward and Bernstein were very old, experienced, veteran
- 34:48Speaker 2: reporters backed by the enormous Washington Post. This is just
- 34:51Speaker 2: a kid with a camera who uncovered all this stuff
- 34:55Speaker 2: when big News refused to do it and broke this
- 35:00Speaker 2: whole story. Well, he's in California now. He's arrived in
- 35:02Speaker 2: California a few days ago. He's going to start doing
- 35:05Speaker 2: it there. It's believed that it could be ten times
- 35:08Speaker 2: as much fraud in California. It'll be unbelievable. If he
- 35:12Speaker 2: uncovers all this, it'll be the end of Gavin Newsom
- 35:16Speaker 2: and any hope for running for president. So keep an
- 35:18Speaker 2: eye on Nick Shirley. You can follow him online. He's
- 35:22Speaker 2: in California as we speak. We'll get a lot to
- 35:25Speaker 2: get to in the next hour, Jimmy Fayala will be
- 35:27Speaker 2: with us. We'll get to Savannah Guthrie and that story. Oh,
- 35:31Speaker 2: we'll get to the big mom Donnie mistakes coming up
- 35:34Speaker 2: and a lot more just to head right after the news.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Mark Simone here on seven to ten wor.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Blogged into Everything New York on the Voice of New York.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Mark Simone on sevent ten wor.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Well, Hey, Savannah Guthrie story just tragic. Here's the latest
- 35:58Speaker 2: the President has. I've ordered the entire FBI to go
- 36:02Speaker 2: to work on the Savannah Guthrie mother's disappearance, and the
- 36:07Speaker 2: FBI director himself is flying out there to Arizona to
- 36:11Speaker 2: take charge of all this. But the massive amount of
- 36:14Speaker 2: FBI agents are on the case. They get all kinds
- 36:17Speaker 2: of leads and they all have to be tracked downs
- 36:20Speaker 2: too much for the local police. Then they get all
- 36:22Speaker 2: kinds of false tips, false claims, but they all got
- 36:25Speaker 2: to be run down, and the hundreds and hundreds of
- 36:29Speaker 2: FBI agents will do that. And as told you before,
- 36:32Speaker 2: they can also get things done much faster than the
- 36:35Speaker 2: local police. Things like get into her digital records, her
- 36:39Speaker 2: cell phone records, or they can trace the cell phone
- 36:44Speaker 2: to see where it pinged on what towers. Now, when
- 36:47Speaker 2: she was taken from her home, they left the cell
- 36:49Speaker 2: phone and her keys, her medicine, everything she needed and
- 36:52Speaker 2: would normally take with her. So the other thing they're
- 36:55Speaker 2: looking at right now, they think it's possible whoever this was,
- 36:59Speaker 2: was somebody that knew her in some way, somebody that'd
- 37:02Speaker 2: been in the house, somebody that was familiar, just the
- 37:05Speaker 2: first thing they're looking at. So they're running down everybody
- 37:08Speaker 2: she could have known, everybody that could have been in
- 37:10Speaker 2: the house, worked in the house, done something right. So
- 37:13Speaker 2: they're looking at that right now. Some reports of a
- 37:17Speaker 2: ransom note, and I don't think it's true. If you
- 37:21Speaker 2: look at the video that they put out asking to
- 37:24Speaker 2: talk to the kidnappers, it looks like there is no
- 37:27Speaker 2: ransom note. It's a tragic situation. She can go for
- 37:32Speaker 2: maybe a week or two or three without the medicine.
- 37:35Speaker 2: It's possible. But there was blood, a lot of blood,
- 37:40Speaker 2: a trail of blood coming out the front door. There
- 37:42Speaker 2: was blood inside apparently because of the heart trouble. She
- 37:45Speaker 2: was probably taking blood dinners and when you take that,
- 37:50Speaker 2: you tend to bleed a lot. So if they hit
- 37:51Speaker 2: her in the head, or something. You bleed more than normal,
- 37:54Speaker 2: so that's why you'd see that kind of blood trail.
- 37:59Speaker 2: The only thing you can hold for he said, there's
- 38:00Speaker 2: a breakthrough, they find her, that's a long shot. The
- 38:04Speaker 2: other thing is if he go back to the kidnapping
- 38:07Speaker 2: of Frank Sinatra Junior. That's back in nineteen sixty three.
- 38:11Speaker 2: These kidnappers thought they could get a lot of money
- 38:13Speaker 2: by kidnapping Frank Sinatra Junior, and then as it unfolded,
- 38:18Speaker 2: it turned it out because it was Frank Sinatra, the
- 38:20Speaker 2: entire American mafia was out looking for them, and Robert Kennedy,
- 38:26Speaker 2: who had had a fight with Sinatra broken up with him,
- 38:29Speaker 2: wasn't talking to him. But as soon as the kidnapping happened,
- 38:32Speaker 2: Robert Kennedy called and announced the entire FBI would be
- 38:35Speaker 2: out there looking for the sun and the kidnappers seeing
- 38:39Speaker 2: this because it was all over the news, it was
- 38:41Speaker 2: front page news. When they found out the entire mob
- 38:44Speaker 2: was looking for him, the entire FBI was looking for him,
- 38:47Speaker 2: they got scared. The kidnappers got scared and released the kid.
- 38:50Speaker 2: They just took him somewhere he was blindfolded and just
- 38:53Speaker 2: let him out and they drove away, leaving him there.
- 38:55Speaker 2: He was found by actually a local security guard found him.
- 39:00Speaker 2: But you could hope for something like that in this case.
- 39:02Speaker 2: That as the kidnappers keep hearing about, the President of
- 39:05Speaker 2: the United States is on the case, the FBI director
- 39:08Speaker 2: is on his way there, the entire FBI is looking
- 39:11Speaker 2: for that, they might panic and let her go. That's possible.
- 39:14Speaker 2: It happened in the Sinatra case. But we'll see. Hey,
- 39:18Speaker 2: Scott Bessont, yesterday had it testify before Congress. You know
- 39:24Speaker 2: we're talking about this yesterday. Republicans aren't good at holding hearings.
- 39:27Speaker 2: They're two mild, they're too comp you know, when Democrats
- 39:30Speaker 2: hold hearings, day will tear you apart. They'll just bite
- 39:34Speaker 2: you to death like pitbulls. So yesterday Scott Bessant, brilliant guy,
- 39:39Speaker 2: very very classy guy. Scott Bessant is to testify. He's
- 39:44Speaker 2: the Treasury secretary. He used to discuss the situation with
- 39:48Speaker 2: the Treasury and money matters. But it's Democrats, so they're
- 39:52Speaker 2: like animals, just screaming and yelling. Listen to them tear
- 39:56Speaker 2: into Besson.
- 40:00Speaker 5: The American paper.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Work for the American people.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Maybe don't y a mom invested keeps them, mister secretary,
- 40:12Speaker 2: could you control these people traveled whale? I take that
- 40:16Speaker 2: as a else on behalf.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I take that alf of your do not want to that.
- 40:22Speaker 2: I take that as a note for a seven billion
- 40:25Speaker 2: asking you to do your responsibility as Secretary of the treasure.
- 40:30Speaker 2: As secretary of they just yelling at him. They don't
- 40:33Speaker 2: let them do. Here's a great one. You can't really
- 40:35Speaker 2: make this out, but i'll tell you what. It's Maxine
- 40:38Speaker 2: Waters who's got an IQ of like sixty five maybe,
- 40:41Speaker 2: and Besson is an IQ like one sixty. So she's
- 40:45Speaker 2: yelling at him, and then he's trying to talk. And
- 40:47Speaker 2: then you gotta listen carefully. But Water says that chairman,
- 40:51Speaker 2: will you shut him up? And then you'll hear it's
- 40:55Speaker 2: hard to hear it. You'll hear Besson say, could you
- 40:58Speaker 2: try to have some level of dignity? He says to
- 41:01Speaker 2: Maxine Waters, listen, listen to this.
- 41:04Speaker 13: Time immigration, Tom does ten and twenty million immigrants, the
- 41:16Speaker 13: housing housing stock of working Americans, and can you maintain
- 41:20Speaker 13: some level of.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Life time has expired?
- 41:24Speaker 5: Has not aspireded?
- 41:28Speaker 8: Uh?
- 41:28Speaker 2: First of all, they kind of dumb anyway, These Democrats,
- 41:31Speaker 2: the just the ones that end up in the committee,
- 41:33Speaker 2: like the dumbest of the Democrats, and there's a TV
- 41:36Speaker 2: camera on them, and they know it's their moment to
- 41:39Speaker 2: go viral, and that's why they do that. So uh
- 41:43Speaker 2: but Besst was very calm, very patient, and and he
- 41:47Speaker 2: got through it. So the other thing with fake news,
- 41:50Speaker 2: besides fake news, is they'll have fake polls. They have
- 41:53Speaker 2: all these polls about Trump, lowest approval rating ever. He's
- 41:57Speaker 2: underwater in the economy, he's underwater immigration. Now, you got
- 42:01Speaker 2: to remember, if you actually go look at these poles,
- 42:06Speaker 2: you go into the metrics to see who they surveyed,
- 42:09Speaker 2: you'll find out it was totally rigged. For instance, in
- 42:12Speaker 2: their sampling they had Republicans at only twenty seven percent,
- 42:16Speaker 2: they should be thirty eight percent. They slant it right
- 42:20Speaker 2: there by eleven points. Then they don't use likely voters.
- 42:24Speaker 2: They use a category called adults, which means they can
- 42:27Speaker 2: pick whoever they want. They don't use the right demographics.
- 42:30Speaker 2: There's all kinds of ways they stand up slanting these
- 42:32Speaker 2: poles by fourteen to fifteen points. But they'll always come
- 42:36Speaker 2: out they're doing it right now. They did last week.
- 42:38Speaker 2: They're doing it this week. They'll put out all these
- 42:39Speaker 2: poles and on all these shows, and if you watch
- 42:43Speaker 2: CNN or MSNBC, this is all you'll hear. The poles
- 42:47Speaker 2: are devastating for a Republican, devastating for Donald Trump, but
- 42:50Speaker 2: it shows him underwater on his KISA. They're absolutely disastrous,
- 42:55Speaker 2: these poles. Now, whenever they do this scenario, you'll notice
- 42:58Speaker 2: the next day he wins an election. And they do
- 43:01Speaker 2: this all the time, so it's a big thing to
- 43:04Speaker 2: do when it's leading up to an election. They did
- 43:07Speaker 2: it in twenty twenty fourth leading up to the election.
- 43:09Speaker 2: It's a disastrous for him. This is meantime he wins.
- 43:13Speaker 2: So they're doing it right now. They'll keep doing this
- 43:14Speaker 2: all year for the mid terms, and it will be
- 43:18Speaker 2: absolutely ineffective. Hey, as I said, on this street, at
- 43:23Speaker 2: least around here this neighborhood, they picked up the garbage.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Those mountains of garbage are all gone. They were picked
- 43:28Speaker 2: up yesterday. And out in front on the fifty fifth
- 43:31Speaker 2: street side of this building, there's a big plow removing
- 43:35Speaker 2: all the snow. They're picking up those snow banks, they're
- 43:39Speaker 2: taking them away. Things are getting much better, better late
- 43:41Speaker 2: than never, Apparently they did the bike lanes first, but
- 43:46Speaker 2: now they're doing the whole thing. So by the time
- 43:48Speaker 2: I walk out of here at noon, it's going to
- 43:50Speaker 2: look a lot better outside. That's good news. Mom. Donnie
- 43:55Speaker 2: made a fool out of himself with this police incident.
- 44:00Speaker 2: There was a police shooting and there was domestic violence situation.
- 44:09Speaker 2: They were called in. The police ended up shooting the guy.
- 44:12Speaker 2: And what do you do when this is a police shooting. Well,
- 44:15Speaker 2: the first thing you do is investigate. Look at the
- 44:16Speaker 2: body cam. You see what happened. Not Mondani, Not Mondani.
- 44:21Speaker 2: He immediately assumed, assumed for no reason at all, that
- 44:25Speaker 2: it was unjustified that the police officer was a murderer.
- 44:28Speaker 2: And what did Mamdani do. He went to the hospital
- 44:32Speaker 2: to see the shooting victim, not to be with the cop,
- 44:35Speaker 2: but to go to the criminal. Now this is what
- 44:40Speaker 2: he did. But eventually bodycam footage was released and it
- 44:44Speaker 2: showed the cop was absolutely justified. It's kind of gruesome,
- 44:49Speaker 2: but you can see it online. The bodycam footage shows
- 44:51Speaker 2: they got a call domestic violence. The family called the
- 44:55Speaker 2: police asked them to come because the husband was going
- 45:00Speaker 2: crazy with a knife, big butcher knife. And you see
- 45:04Speaker 2: the body cam video, he's waving it at the cops.
- 45:06Speaker 2: They're yelling and screaming, put down the knife, put down
- 45:08Speaker 2: the knife. This goes on for some time, and then
- 45:12Speaker 2: finally he comes right at the cop with the butcher knife.
- 45:15Speaker 2: And you have no choice in that street. You have
- 45:17Speaker 2: to shoot the guy. So he did shoot. Mom. Donnie,
- 45:20Speaker 2: of course on the wrong side of everything. Donnie's a
- 45:24Speaker 2: twelve years old, never had a job, has no experience
- 45:26Speaker 2: in these kind of things. Immediately assumed the cops were wrong.
- 45:29Speaker 2: He's visiting the maniac in the hospital. Mom, Donnie, here,
- 45:35Speaker 2: take a.
- 45:36Speaker 14: Listen, Seventeen New Yorkers.
- 45:37Speaker 15: Oh here it is the questions at the heart of
- 45:39Speaker 15: our pursuit of the Department of Community Safety are looking
- 45:42Speaker 15: to answer exactly what mental health crisis response.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Should look like.
- 45:47Speaker 14: Yeah, the shooting, we know the pain that his family
- 45:51Speaker 14: is living through in this moment.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Well, first of all, the family called the police. Of course,
- 45:56Speaker 2: it was painful to see this, but it was the
- 45:58Speaker 2: family that called the cops and ask them to come stop.
- 46:01Speaker 14: This guy is to me incredibly clear that what he
- 46:06Speaker 14: needs in this moment is mental health treatment, not criminal prosecution.
- 46:11Speaker 5: By a district attorney.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I see. This is the amateur twelve year old mayor,
- 46:18Speaker 2: never had a job, never had a deal with any
- 46:20Speaker 2: of this reality. The social worker could deal with this
- 46:23Speaker 2: now again. New York City has tried this experiment about
- 46:27Speaker 2: three times in the past, using social workers to respond
- 46:31Speaker 2: to this. They've tried it under various police commissions. They
- 46:35Speaker 2: tried it out. You end up with dead, maimed, injured
- 46:38Speaker 2: social workers and nothing happens. Now you take this situation,
- 46:41Speaker 2: go look at the bodycam video of the screaming maniac
- 46:45Speaker 2: with the big butcher knife coming at you. If we're
- 46:49Speaker 2: up to Mom Donnie, they wouldn't have a cop with
- 46:51Speaker 2: the gun. They'd have the social workers saying, let me
- 46:53Speaker 2: talk to let me discuss this for a minute. Why
- 46:55Speaker 2: don't you put down the knife and we'll talk. Well,
- 46:58Speaker 2: if he's not going to put down the knife, with
- 47:00Speaker 2: the cop with the gun yelling at him, drop that night,
- 47:02Speaker 2: he's not going to listen to the social worker. It
- 47:04Speaker 2: always ends up with a dead social worker. They've tried
- 47:07Speaker 2: it before. But Mom Donnie's got this plan. The Department
- 47:10Speaker 2: of Public Safety.
- 47:12Speaker 16: I think we are continuing to explore every avenue that
- 47:14Speaker 16: we have to keep New Yorkers warm, and that means
- 47:18Speaker 16: to ensuring that we are.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Taking This is the other one. I think this is
- 47:22Speaker 2: the Department of Public Safety.
- 47:24Speaker 15: The questions at the heart of our pursuit of the
- 47:26Speaker 15: Department of Community Safety are looking to answer exactly what
- 47:30Speaker 15: mental health crisis response should look like. And I think
- 47:33Speaker 15: what we are seeing is what it does look like today.
- 47:36Speaker 15: And we know that for far too long we haven't
- 47:40Speaker 15: asked these kinds of questions of this system. Those are
- 47:42Speaker 15: the ones we're looking to answer with our work and
- 47:44Speaker 15: our policies.
- 47:45Speaker 2: You see Department of Mental Health a mental health crisis.
- 47:49Speaker 2: There's different types of a mental health crisis. In other words,
- 47:52Speaker 2: if somebody's at home and they're very, very depressed, even
- 47:56Speaker 2: thinking of suicide, well there you could send a social
- 47:58Speaker 2: We're going to talk to him. But if they're fowming
- 48:01Speaker 2: at the mouth, raving like a maniac coming at you
- 48:03Speaker 2: with a butcher knife, that's a different kind of mental
- 48:06Speaker 2: health crisis. That's not the one for the social worker.
- 48:09Speaker 10: Now.
- 48:09Speaker 2: The other naive mam donni mistake is ordering the police
- 48:13Speaker 2: not to pick up the homeless. There's always in New
- 48:16Speaker 2: York been the rule. If it gets to dangerously dangerous
- 48:20Speaker 2: Code blue minus ten degrees. You have to pick up
- 48:24Speaker 2: the homeless and take them to a shelter. You can't
- 48:26Speaker 2: leave them on the street. They'll freeze to death and die.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Mam Donni orders the police not to do that, orders
- 48:32Speaker 2: all the departments leave the homeless on the street. Seventeen
- 48:35Speaker 2: are now dead. Seventeen are dead as a result Mam
- 48:41Speaker 2: Donnie talking about.
- 48:42Speaker 14: That, seventeen New Yorkers have passed away outside during this
- 48:45Speaker 14: Code Blue. In thirteen of these cases. Preliminary findings indicate
- 48:49Speaker 14: that hypothermia played a role. Three of these deaths appear
- 48:53Speaker 14: to be overdose related deaths, while one remains unknown.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Now it turns out, if you check the actual track
- 49:00Speaker 2: record here, the police had to shoot one guy and
- 49:04Speaker 2: it looks like they were totally justified. While in the
- 49:07Speaker 2: same week Mam Donnie killed seventeen people with his dumb order.
- 49:12Speaker 2: He's responsible for killing seventeen people, leaving him out there
- 49:16Speaker 2: to freeze to death. I guess in his crazy, uh
- 49:19Speaker 2: kookie woke head, it thinks, well, it should be up
- 49:22Speaker 2: to the homeless man. It should be up to him.
- 49:24Speaker 2: He's not thinking straight. There's drugs, there's all kinds of things.
- 49:27Speaker 2: He's not rational. You can't leave it up to him.
- 49:30Speaker 2: And if it's going to get so cold that you'll die,
- 49:33Speaker 2: no matter what he wass, you got to take him.
- 49:35Speaker 2: You got to take him to a shelter. So, Mam
- 49:37Speaker 2: Donnie caused seventeen people to die. And you might wonder
- 49:43Speaker 2: after the first ten and they knew it was ten.
- 49:47Speaker 2: After ten, wouldn't you have felt guilty, felt bad and
- 49:50Speaker 2: called the police and said, you know, I changed my mind.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Take him. He didn't. Now you got seventeen dead as
- 49:55Speaker 2: a result.
- 49:55Speaker 16: I think we are continuing to explore every avenue that
- 49:58Speaker 16: we have to keep New York warm, and that means
- 50:01Speaker 16: to ensuring that we are taking on any heat outages,
- 50:04Speaker 16: whether they be at NITA properties or any property across
- 50:07Speaker 16: the city, because we also know that there are a
- 50:08Speaker 16: number of comment outages over these past few days, and
- 50:11Speaker 16: then beyond that, to ensure that we have warming buses,
- 50:14Speaker 16: that we have warming centers, that we have safe have
- 50:16Speaker 16: in sites shelters not only that are available, but also
- 50:20Speaker 16: that we are having outreach teams do the direct outreach
- 50:23Speaker 16: to connect homeless New Yorkers.
- 50:24Speaker 2: With Now I don't know what the hell he just said.
- 50:26Speaker 2: But if you talk fast, it's a very effective technique.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Somebody says, ask you something, you go well right away.
- 50:36Speaker 2: You sound like you don't know what you're talking about.
- 50:38Speaker 2: But if they ask you something, you go well right
- 50:40Speaker 2: I mean, when you start talking a mile a minute
- 50:41Speaker 2: and you talk really fast, and you talk like you
- 50:42Speaker 2: never stop talking, and it's a mile a minute, it
- 50:44Speaker 2: sounds like you must be very smart because who could
- 50:46Speaker 2: talk that fast? And you just throwing those words. We
- 50:48Speaker 2: have various outreach programs and they're doing outreach on the
- 50:51Speaker 2: outreach team and the outreach just talk fast and you
- 50:53Speaker 2: sound brilliant, but it's made a lot of mistakes. Now,
- 50:56Speaker 2: the good news is we have a new city council's space,
- 51:00Speaker 2: and if you're the speaker of the city council, the
- 51:02Speaker 2: head of the city council, you have about as much
- 51:04Speaker 2: power as the mayor. She's a common sense I wouldn't
- 51:08Speaker 2: say conservative, she's a Democrat, but very common sense and
- 51:12Speaker 2: a good contrast to Mom Donnie. In fact, already she
- 51:16Speaker 2: wants to bring back the outdoor dining. On a day
- 51:19Speaker 2: like this or a week like this, you don't really
- 51:21Speaker 2: think about outdoor dining, but remember in the summer. It's
- 51:23Speaker 2: great and it's a lot of money and revenue. It's
- 51:26Speaker 2: money for the restaurants. It helps the businesses. You know,
- 51:28Speaker 2: if you're a restaurant, you got thirty tables, Yeah, do that.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Outdoor dining suddenly got an extra twenty tables outside you
- 51:36Speaker 2: make a lot more money. So the recently outdoor dining
- 51:38Speaker 2: stopped was the Adams administration. Typical government. You know, they
- 51:43Speaker 2: made it so tough. There were five thousand regulations, eight
- 51:46Speaker 2: million regulations. So the city council speaker wants to get
- 51:50Speaker 2: rid of all of that and make it You'll still
- 51:52Speaker 2: have to do it properly. But under the other system,
- 51:57Speaker 2: the old administration, there were thirty six hundred applications that
- 51:59Speaker 2: were and you had to go to nineteen different departments.
- 52:03Speaker 2: You had to get approval for the Department of Transportation,
- 52:06Speaker 2: the local Community Board, the City Controller's office. You had
- 52:09Speaker 2: to go. So she's getting rid of all that red tape.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Make it easier for people to do. That's good news. Hey,
- 52:14Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one
- 52:18Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 52:21Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 52:23Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app. Save
- 52:26Speaker 1: time and tap the preset button. Now now back to
- 52:29Speaker 1: the Mark Simon Show on wor.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Craig Pennsylvania. Craig,
- 52:37Speaker 2: how you doing, Hey, Mark, how goes it good?
- 52:41Speaker 17: I just wanted to let you know a friend of
- 52:42Speaker 17: mine I live in Pennsylvania and she does as well.
- 52:46Speaker 17: She went to the city to spend a couple of days,
- 52:50Speaker 17: and she had her car with her and next thing
- 52:53Speaker 17: you know, she had got what happened? She got she
- 52:57Speaker 17: over state on the media by about ten fifteen minutes.
- 53:01Speaker 17: Right when she got back to her car. Not only
- 53:03Speaker 17: was there a ticket, there was a there was a
- 53:07Speaker 17: one of those things that lock your car up.
- 53:09Speaker 2: A boot.
- 53:09Speaker 17: Yeah yeah, So, I mean that's ridiculous.
- 53:14Speaker 8: If you had I'm.
- 53:14Speaker 17: Saying, if you're all day, maybe you get a boot.
- 53:18Speaker 17: But to have that a ticket and a boot within
- 53:21Speaker 17: five or ten minutes, I think that's outrageous. Well, and
- 53:24Speaker 17: something should be done. Hopefully you can look into that.
- 53:26Speaker 2: And well, it's New York and she probably had Pennsylvania plates,
- 53:31Speaker 2: right right, Well, don't come in here with Pennsylvania plates,
- 53:36Speaker 2: and you're definitely getting a ticket.
- 53:38Speaker 17: Yeah, I don't think it's outrageous.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Well it is.
- 53:41Speaker 17: But this is why people come to New York anymore.
- 53:44Speaker 2: You know, I hate to break it to you can't
- 53:46Speaker 2: even move outside. It's so crowded you can't even find
- 53:48Speaker 2: it far. There's people coming over. But listen, that's greedy
- 53:51Speaker 2: Democrat run New York. That's greedy hocal and greedy politicians
- 53:56Speaker 2: looking to make the money.
- 53:57Speaker 17: Somebody should try to do something to alleviate some of
- 54:00Speaker 17: these outrageous things that they do to people, you know,
- 54:04Speaker 17: not for they do to you.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Well, I understand, but you know, listen, you're right, but
- 54:08Speaker 2: you're wrong. Technically she is illegal there, she's illegally parking.
- 54:14Speaker 2: I know you should get a little it should be
- 54:16Speaker 2: a grace period of more than ten minutes. But technically
- 54:19Speaker 2: she was the wrong. Let's go to Steve and tennessee Steve,
- 54:22Speaker 2: how you're doing.
- 54:23Speaker 12: Okay, Listen, the mayor is clueless. Those people didn't die
- 54:28Speaker 12: from high per thermia. They died from hypole thermia. Hyperthermia
- 54:35Speaker 12: and hypoth thermia are complete opposite.
- 54:39Speaker 2: All right, what are you? Doctor Fauci calmed down. We
- 54:42Speaker 2: got the point. We know what he meant. Are you
- 54:45Speaker 2: are you a doctor.
- 54:47Speaker 12: No, I'm not, but I'm in the healthcare profession.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, very impressive. Works in a drug store anyway,
- 54:53Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. Take care. Let's go to Pat in Levittown. Pat.
- 54:57Speaker 2: How you doing.
- 54:58Speaker 18: I'm doing well, Thank you. I was just listening to
- 55:01Speaker 18: that bit before the commercial about the violence and the
- 55:06Speaker 18: fellow who got shot. Yes, psychiatric Okay. I've been a
- 55:10Speaker 18: nurse for over sixty years, trained in Bellevue Hospital where
- 55:13Speaker 18: we used to have male violent whatever the people went there.
- 55:18Speaker 18: And at the same time as I was growing up,
- 55:20Speaker 18: Creedmore was open, King's Park was open. People were treated
- 55:23Speaker 18: with a lot more dignity being taken even though they
- 55:26Speaker 18: didn't want to to these psychiatric hospitals. I don't understand
- 55:31Speaker 18: how they think they're going to cure this problem of
- 55:34Speaker 18: people who are addicted or a psychotic. It's very sad
- 55:38Speaker 18: to see.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Yeah, No, you're absolutely right, it's true. Yeah, but listen,
- 55:42Speaker 2: behavior has changed over the years in every area of life.
- 55:45Speaker 2: People were much better behaved years ago. Even the maniacs,
- 55:48Speaker 2: even the psychos, are worse today than ever before. Hey,
- 55:51Speaker 2: when we come back, Jimmy Fayla, the great comedian, we'll
- 55:54Speaker 2: talk to him next on seven to ten wor Mister New.
- 55:58Speaker 1: York Mark simoneor.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Hey Jimmy Taylor, The great comedian, the great talk show host.
- 56:07Speaker 2: He's on every night here on w o R at
- 56:10Speaker 2: nine o'clock tonight every weeknight nine to midnight. He also
- 56:14Speaker 2: does the best late night show on television. It's on
- 56:17Speaker 2: the Fox News Channel Saturday nights at ten. President Trump
- 56:20Speaker 2: has become a big fan watches every week. Jimmy Fayla,
- 56:24Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 56:26Speaker 10: I'm great at you know what I actually have to
- 56:27Speaker 10: thank you, so listen to this.
- 56:28Speaker 11: Last week on the show, I told anybody listening who
- 56:31Speaker 11: wanted to come that we have free tickets there at
- 56:34Speaker 11: foxacross America dot com.
- 56:35Speaker 5: We'll dig this.
- 56:36Speaker 11: We had six people in the crowd who are like, hey,
- 56:39Speaker 11: we heard you on timone and we got tickets.
- 56:42Speaker 5: Wow.
- 56:42Speaker 11: So that yeah, that's the good news. Six of your
- 56:45Speaker 11: fans made it to my show. We did have to
- 56:48Speaker 11: throw them out, they got a little rowdy.
- 56:49Speaker 10: I did kid.
- 56:51Speaker 11: They were great.
- 56:52Speaker 10: But you know, anybody listening to Tristad Area every want.
- 56:54Speaker 5: To come watch the show.
- 56:55Speaker 10: We get Sergeant Slaughter this weekend.
- 56:57Speaker 5: It's Super Bowl weekend and the tickets are free.
- 56:59Speaker 11: It's Fox across America dot Com.
- 57:00Speaker 10: I know you like a commission or something.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Some moments come on and when do you do it?
- 57:04Speaker 2: It's not it's Friday.
- 57:05Speaker 5: We actually keep the show.
- 57:06Speaker 11: We take the show Friday night because they've got to
- 57:08Speaker 11: be able to beep out all the horrible things that
- 57:10Speaker 11: might have along the way. But we keep Friday night
- 57:14Speaker 11: at Fox News.
- 57:15Speaker 5: You're always welcome to.
- 57:16Speaker 2: Come so people can get a couple of tickets. That'd
- 57:18Speaker 2: be a great Friday night date in the middle of
- 57:20Speaker 2: the city. Go see Jimmy Fail to Show absolutely and
- 57:24Speaker 2: when they shoot the shot of the audience, President Trump
- 57:26Speaker 2: will be looking at you. He loves that show.
- 57:29Speaker 5: That is a true story.
- 57:31Speaker 10: That's something that's something crazy to think about.
- 57:33Speaker 11: Is you know, it's nice to get a Trump tweet
- 57:35Speaker 11: saying you're good, but you also realize you're one joke
- 57:38Speaker 11: away from getting a Trump tweet saying the opposite.
- 57:43Speaker 2: Living on a razor's edge here, Hey, super Bowl Sunday.
- 57:46Speaker 2: What does what do you do for the Super Bowl?
- 57:49Speaker 5: Oh?
- 57:51Speaker 3: So?
- 57:51Speaker 1: Uh?
- 57:51Speaker 11: You know, for real, I grew up in like a
- 57:53Speaker 11: real Italian house where depending on who wins, some of
- 57:57Speaker 11: us might be going into hiding for like three weeks.
- 58:00Speaker 11: There's a lot of money, a lot of money being.
- 58:02Speaker 5: Bed at the fail half. There's a lot of food.
- 58:05Speaker 5: I'm psyched up.
- 58:06Speaker 11: I don't have a lot to offer people by way
- 58:08Speaker 11: of analysis. This is what I can tell you. Okay,
- 58:10Speaker 11: I've been to Seattle. Based on the looks of things,
- 58:14Speaker 11: I'm pretty sure the space needle is filled with heroin. Yeah,
- 58:17Speaker 11: it's a mess New England for people who don't know.
- 58:21Speaker 11: It's very cold and it's very white. It's like a
- 58:24Speaker 11: protest in Minneapolis.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so Sunday night would be the big game. You'll
- 58:30Speaker 2: be on Saturday night, and of course you're here on
- 58:32Speaker 2: war every weeknight at nine o'clock The Grammys. What do
- 58:39Speaker 2: you think that Billie Eilish.
- 58:42Speaker 11: Oh, it was so funny, like the whole stolen Land thing.
- 58:46Speaker 11: And I'm so glad she got mocked for it, because
- 58:49Speaker 11: maybe this sends a message to the next round of
- 58:52Speaker 11: celebrities that they don't actually have to do this garbage
- 58:56Speaker 11: like between the pins got there's so many different social
- 58:59Speaker 11: justice they look like waitresses at Friday, you know what
- 59:03Speaker 11: I mean. It's like you might as well wear suspenders
- 59:06Speaker 11: on the red carpet with all the flare. These ladies
- 59:08Speaker 11: are sporting from Ukraine and Palestine and now the freaking
- 59:12Speaker 11: abolish ice thing. It's crazy. So I thought it was funny,
- 59:17Speaker 11: but again it's like back to that point of Billie Eilish.
- 59:20Speaker 10: We all know they're not giving back.
- 59:22Speaker 5: The land, so why.
- 59:23Speaker 10: Would you say it, Mark, Because in theory, when you
- 59:25Speaker 10: say like this this, we're here on stolen land.
- 59:28Speaker 11: If you're not giving it back, you're just literally saying
- 59:31Speaker 11: ha haa, we took it from you.
- 59:34Speaker 8: It's as like you're torking them.
- 59:35Speaker 11: You know, it's not you're not being an ally. It's
- 59:38Speaker 11: like you're spiking the football. Hey, I just want to point.
- 59:40Speaker 10: Out that we didn't pay anything for this.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but again it's Billie Eilish. You know, who needs
- 59:46Speaker 2: her speaking about the political mass It's like asking her
- 59:49Speaker 2: about the FED rate change. I mean, who her opinion
- 59:53Speaker 2: on anything except nobody.
- 59:56Speaker 11: But that's what I mean. It's like the Grammys were
- 59:58Speaker 11: the first music show that was better with the sound off.
- 1:00:01Speaker 10: It was bizarre.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Also, as one of the great comedians in the world,
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: What the hell do they have Trevor Noah hosting that for?
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Is he really a comedian?
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: I know?
- 1:00:12Speaker 11: And he's like such a stiff, like Trevor Noah is
- 1:00:16Speaker 11: where like the Disney Hall of Presidents would go to
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: feel charismatic, you know, those like Wooden Presidents barely have
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: a move. It's like they look at.
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: Trevor Noah and they you know, they look like Olympians.
- 1:00:28Speaker 11: He's just such a stiff and every joke he delivers
- 1:00:32Speaker 11: he has like this kind of throwaway energy and it's
- 1:00:35Speaker 11: just so hard to care because he doesn't care, you
- 1:00:39Speaker 11: know what I'm saying. And it's like when it comes
- 1:00:42Speaker 11: to the Grammys, right, it's actually, in theory, the greatest
- 1:00:46Speaker 11: comedy gig in the world because you have all of
- 1:00:48Speaker 11: this musical talent and everyone's heard of them, so there's
- 1:00:51Speaker 11: jokes to be told, the people know the songs, the
- 1:00:54Speaker 11: vibe is good, and.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: Then they bring this guy out there.
- 1:00:57Speaker 10: It's like, you know what it reminds me of. I
- 1:00:59Speaker 10: hate to say it, but it reminds me of like
- 1:01:00Speaker 10: a Biden speech.
- 1:01:01Speaker 11: You remember how a Biden speech, like the band would
- 1:01:04Speaker 11: play and people would stand up and sheer, and then
- 1:01:06Speaker 11: this guy would go the wrong way and they have
- 1:01:08Speaker 11: to drag.
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: Him back to the podium.
- 1:01:10Speaker 11: Yeah, we're just like understaffed in this one area.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: But a great comedian comes out like you in a
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: big bubbly smile, like a real yeah fun Adam. He
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: comes out with that elitist smirk, kind of look on
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: his face, like I'm smarter than you. It really doesn't
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: work for people. It's like that John Stewart, I'm smarter
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: than you kind of attitude.
- 1:01:32Speaker 11: Yeah, somebody wants that, because the truth is, like Mark,
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: when you get into comedy, right, you know, we're clowns.
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: We say this all the time.
- 1:01:39Speaker 11: Like Rodney Gingerfield, as successful as he was, his catchphrase
- 1:01:42Speaker 11: was I don't get no respect. He never showed up
- 1:01:45Speaker 11: and said I know what we need to do with
- 1:01:47Speaker 11: the border say that you know what I mean?
- 1:01:51Speaker 10: The bananas to me.
- 1:01:52Speaker 11: And that's the part I think it's so stupid.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: It's like comics.
- 1:01:55Speaker 11: We've entered a profession where we actually get paid in
- 1:01:58Speaker 11: chicken fingers the first five Like, we're not economists, Mark,
- 1:02:03Speaker 11: there's got to be a better wage out there.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: Than dipping sauce.
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: We haven't figured it out as a profession yet, and
- 1:02:09Speaker 11: yet they're lecturing on the economy. It's bananas.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Speaking of comedy. You're on tour, right, you tour all
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: over the country right every weekend?
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: Oh yes, yes, ma'am. I just got back from Wichita, Kansas.
- 1:02:21Speaker 11: And that was not an easy gig to get to.
- 1:02:24Speaker 11: My GPS actually told me to fire my agent. It
- 1:02:27Speaker 11: was really tricky.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: So but make sure you listen tonight nine to midnight,
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: great show every weeknight on w r watch them every
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Saturday night on the Fox News channel at ten o'clock.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: And now, how would you rate mayor? Mom? Donnie? I
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: will say today all the garbage was picked up on
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: our street here?
- 1:02:48Speaker 11: Yeah, finally, I mean, did you see last week? Mom,
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: Donnie left so much trash on the streets. The rats
- 1:02:53Speaker 11: are on ozempic like it's not good, so that you're
- 1:02:57Speaker 11: not supposed to.
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: A rat on a treadmill.
- 1:02:59Speaker 10: Under the administration, anything's possible.
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: So I don't know. I hope he gets his act together.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: I mean, I do root for the city. I just
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: don't have high hopes.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: So what about Minnesota. They're pulling out seven hundred dice
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: agents that President Trump says, maybe we need a softer touch.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: It looks like it's getting dialed down a little in
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: a nice.
- 1:03:17Speaker 11: Way, right, Yeah, Because the thing about it is. Tom
- 1:03:21Speaker 11: Holman really is the adult in the room. You know,
- 1:03:24Speaker 11: he served under six presidents. Obviously we all talk about
- 1:03:27Speaker 11: how he was awarded under Obama for the deportations. But
- 1:03:31Speaker 11: like when he talks, he doesn't talk to the politics
- 1:03:34Speaker 11: of the moment. He talks to the Hey, we're here
- 1:03:36Speaker 11: to get bad guys. You're allowed to protest, but help
- 1:03:38Speaker 11: us out so we can make the community safer. He's
- 1:03:41Speaker 11: basically saying what their leaders should have been saying. But
- 1:03:45Speaker 11: as you know, they wanted this chaos man because what
- 1:03:48Speaker 11: the Democrats like to do is set the world on
- 1:03:50Speaker 11: fire and then go look how crazy the country is
- 1:03:53Speaker 11: under Trump.
- 1:03:54Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:03:55Speaker 11: But the point is they're setting the fire in hopes
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: that you'll vote for them to calm things down. So
- 1:03:59Speaker 11: who are they really but arsonists trying to get paid.
- 1:04:02Speaker 12: For putting out their own fire.
- 1:04:04Speaker 11: It's nuts.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Hey, yesterday, I know yesterday last night, no mention to
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Don Lemon. You think he's getting upset that he's not
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: getting the the coverage he needs to get his career back.
- 1:04:16Speaker 11: Yeah, that's not good.
- 1:04:18Speaker 10: That means I'm going to see him at church this weekend.
- 1:04:20Speaker 11: If you're picking up he wants that attention, he'll be bad.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Well, you can listen to Jimmy Fail every night at
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: nine o'clock on w o R. What he got on
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: tonight's show?
- 1:04:34Speaker 11: Oh, tonight's a crazy one. So we just had with
- 1:04:38Speaker 11: all of this crazy Minneapolis stuff.
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: We just had Homan on last week.
- 1:04:42Speaker 11: But I'm told we're getting a return appearance later tonight,
- 1:04:45Speaker 11: So I'll get the inside on what's happening from Tom
- 1:04:48Speaker 11: Holman himself with any luck at nine pm.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Now we've all had Whenever we have Tom Homan on,
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: there's always a contest. See if anybody can make him laugh.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: It's impossible. I think you're the only guy that ever
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: did it, because it's otherwise impossible to get the guy
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: to laugh.
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:05:03Speaker 11: No, I can break him up a little bit, but
- 1:05:04Speaker 11: he's also threatened to beat me up a few times
- 1:05:07Speaker 11: with the in and a yang.
- 1:05:08Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: So uh, and where you're gonna Where are you gonna
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: be appearing next? You're always on tour all over the place.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: Oh man.
- 1:05:15Speaker 11: So the next thing I gotta do, okay, is I'm
- 1:05:17Speaker 11: going to the Capitol Theater in Rome, New York again.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: Talk about my agent.
- 1:05:23Speaker 10: He's like, yeah, booked you in Rome? I was like,
- 1:05:25Speaker 10: oh wow, but I get my dans Fort.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: He's like, no, no, New York. They'll be Rome, New York.
- 1:05:29Speaker 11: And I'm uh, north of Utica, like in that region,
- 1:05:33Speaker 11: like the Mohawk Valley region. A lot of good Italians
- 1:05:36Speaker 11: food up there for real.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: But I'll be there.
- 1:05:38Speaker 11: And then I got to go to Saint Louis Reno,
- 1:05:41Speaker 11: back to Vegas, and then I am in Northfolk, Nebraska,
- 1:05:45Speaker 11: home of Johnny Carson.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: I can't wait.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, hey, have you read the new Johnny Carson
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: book by Mark Malkoff.
- 1:05:51Speaker 11: Of course I have, with the one where they quote
- 1:05:53Speaker 11: Mark that Mark Simone character.
- 1:05:55Speaker 10: Come on, I love that book.
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: That's amazing, best book.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Ever on Johnny Carson. Unbelievable. Yeah, and you are the
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: closest thing to Johnny Carson in that the only show
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: on television Saturday Nights were the monologue. There's a joke
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: about the left, a joke about the right. It's very balanced.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: It's exactly what Carson would have done.
- 1:06:12Speaker 11: And well, thanks, And if you keep comparing me to Carson,
- 1:06:15Speaker 11: I guess that means I can have three more wives.
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: So I'm excited.
- 1:06:20Speaker 10: Go.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Well, listen to Jimmy Fayler tonight nine to midnight, right
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: here on WOR every weeknight nine to midnight, and watch
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: his TV show Best Late Night Show Saturday nights at
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: ten Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayla, thanks for being with us.
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: You're the best Mark. Thanks buddy, all.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Right, take care. Yeah, that book on Johnny Carson is
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: the best book ever. It's the most definitive book on
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Johnny Carson. In fact, the author will be with us
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: on tomorrow show. It's called Love Johnny Carson. Hey, I
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: don't forget Jimmy Fayalo tonight at nine o'clock, and don't
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: forget Buck and Clay. They'll be here at noon today
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: right after the News on seven to ten WOR.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I mister New York Marsills on seven tenoo.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Well, Hey, in the Savannah Guthrie, mother Nancy Guthrie, the kidnapping,
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: some new revelations. She had a pacemaker and it was
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: sync to her iPhone and they know that it stopped.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: The sink to the iPhone stopped at two am, So
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: they believe that was the time of the kidnapping. That
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: at two am they took her away and that's why
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: it stopped syncing with the iPhone. But now it's been
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: revealed that apparently at two am, the pacemaker had a
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: big spike. It took a big spike up all of
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: a sudden, which they think would show that she was
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: in a struggle, a struggle that make her heart rates surge,
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: and that's why the pacemaker had that big spike at
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: two am. So that's very unpleasant news. Yeah, cardiologists confirm
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: that she must have been in a physical struggle to
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: create that sudden spike in the pacemaker, sudden rapid heartbeat.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: It took place at two am. So once again the
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: police authorities, FBI there on the ground. They're right now.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: They're looking for people that she knew. For some reason,
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: they think it might have been somebody she knew, not
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: necessarily a friend, but just somebody, somebody that worked in
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: the house, somebody that'd been in the house, somebody that
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: knew her from somewhere. They're looking at all those they're
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: trying to trace down all of that kind of stuff.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: The FBI has tremendous amount of agents on the case.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: The President himself called Savannah Guthrie and said he was
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: going to put the FBI on the case. As many
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: FBI agents as they needed the FBI director himself, Cash
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Puttel on his way there right now to take charge
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: of this. So we'll see what happens. Hey today about
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: thirty three degrees, it's tomorrow. You got a problem. Tomorrow night,
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: there's going to be some kind of snow. It should
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: not be bad. It should be maybe up to an inch.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: That's the current forecast. That snow Tomorrow night into Saturday
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: morning overnight Tomorrow Friday a little. It's probably just at
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: the most an inch. But Saturday Sunday could be the
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: coldest days of the year. Saturday could be the coldest
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: day of the winter, even worse than when we've been through.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: That's hard to believe. And then of course Sunday got
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: the Super Bowl and then Monday the big event. I'll
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: be back. I'll be back ten to noon, but i'll
