- 0:50Speaker 1: And I'm coming to you live.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I'm Kenny's basement apartment where I have no idea if
- 0:55Speaker 2: we are live or not, because the screen just popped
- 0:57Speaker 2: up and we are been doing uh sports allegedly after dark.
- 1:03Speaker 1: It is sports allegedly.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Welcome, Welcome, welcome, Thanks for joining us for this episode
- 1:08Speaker 3: on seventh day of February at what one oh episode
- 1:15Speaker 3: was one fifteen am yet, but thank you for joining
- 1:17Speaker 3: us for this episode of Sports Allegedly, Sean am. I right,
- 1:21Speaker 3: I'm Kenny. Appreciate you all joining us for now or
- 1:26Speaker 3: listening later for our super duper wonderful big game super Bowl.
- 1:32Speaker 1: You know what, we we have audio listeners.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and so for the big Super Bowl preview will start.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I mean, we're going to talk some basketball. We're going
- 1:40Speaker 3: to talk a little softball. We're going to talk some
- 1:43Speaker 3: NBA trades.
- 1:44Speaker 1: We'll do that.
- 1:45Speaker 4: But let's let's let's and if you heard barking in
- 1:48Speaker 4: the background, that's our new MASCAR, Kenny's new London boy
- 1:54Speaker 4: Rabbie boys.
- 1:55Speaker 5: So let's start with the super Bowl.
- 1:57Speaker 3: So we talked a little bit about it last week,
- 2:00Speaker 3: uh two days, we.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Got into the games. We got into the games and
- 2:03Speaker 1: how the games ended.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Team minus less than forty eight hours away from hard
- 2:10Speaker 3: from kickoff, and I'll let you start set.
- 2:13Speaker 5: I mean give it, give me some of your I
- 2:15Speaker 5: mean before we get into our picks.
- 2:16Speaker 3: We talked a little bit. I don't know if we
- 2:18Speaker 3: give our picks. I think we did give that. Well,
- 2:20Speaker 3: I gave my score pick.
- 2:23Speaker 5: So we've got our official picks.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Now it's still Philadelphia. I'm still taking Philly. Well, well, yes,
- 2:29Speaker 1: all of us I know, in our in our.
- 2:34Speaker 2: In our in our betting pool. I do believe. I
- 2:39Speaker 2: do believe that there is one of our one of
- 2:42Speaker 2: your employees, that is taking Kansas City, yes, and but
- 2:47Speaker 2: everybody else is taking Philly. Now here's the keys to
- 2:56Speaker 2: what Philly's success has been. And we talked about this
- 2:59Speaker 2: in in the Washington game, and it was about Vic
- 3:04Speaker 2: only sending three and four and not blitzing as much,
- 3:07Speaker 2: which he did in that Washington game and had huge
- 3:13Speaker 2: success where the majority of the game he only sent
- 3:17Speaker 2: three or four guys. There was not a lot of
- 3:19Speaker 2: blitzing in that and I can foresee him doing this again.
- 3:25Speaker 2: So that way his Dbaction play Zone or a little
- 3:29Speaker 2: zone man mix him up how it goes stopping the
- 3:34Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce over the middle most important.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Yeah, that's kind of become a thing again this show.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I don't believe that having to stop the run for
- 3:45Speaker 2: them is a major point because I believe that the
- 3:50Speaker 2: Kansas City's run game.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Is mild mid at moste.
- 3:56Speaker 2: So stop of the passing game is going to be
- 4:00Speaker 2: the main.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Focus for Philadelphia. And uh and if VIC can.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Get away with just sending three to four guys, you
- 4:11Speaker 2: are gonna be successful because then you can keep your
- 4:15Speaker 2: secondary linebackers in zone or play you know, like I said,
- 4:20Speaker 2: zone man, it'll mix up whatever you whatever you're gonna do,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and then the offense suon Barclay has got to be stopped.
- 4:27Speaker 1: And congratulations on Offensive Player of the Year.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Well well deserved.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Should have been m v P and Offensive Player of
- 4:34Speaker 1: the Year. I don't know.
- 4:36Speaker 2: He did a lot for that team. He did a lot,
- 4:40Speaker 2: more than than than Bubbah boy Josh Allen.
- 4:44Speaker 1: But he did he did more than Josh Allen.
- 4:45Speaker 3: You take away Barkley, they went to the Super Bowl
- 4:48Speaker 3: two years ago. You take away josh Andre Swift with
- 4:51Speaker 3: that don't matter you take but he wasn't there, so
- 4:53Speaker 3: they still went to the Super Bowl.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You take away Josh Allen and they still they're still
- 4:59Speaker 1: gonna lose.
- 5:00Speaker 3: They got five wins, they still can't don't make the playoffs.
- 5:03Speaker 5: That's why, that's why there is, That's why he is.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And there's mister Ralph playing with a young boy and.
- 5:09Speaker 5: That's why he's the m v P because I believe, but.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I believe that that deserved.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Both the level of talent from Philadelphia to Philadelphia to the.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Philadelphia to the Beagles, the amount of ladies and gentlemen
- 5:28Speaker 2: we have new teams in the NFL.
- 5:29Speaker 3: The amount of talent disparity between the Eagles and the
- 5:33Speaker 3: Bills is pretty large.
- 5:35Speaker 5: I mean, the Eagles are by far the best.
- 5:38Speaker 1: But but I already said that.
- 5:39Speaker 2: But I already said that Josh Allen was going to
- 5:41Speaker 2: have to go through that Tom Brady year, not having
- 5:46Speaker 2: a big name wide receiver and having to find that guy.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Yeah, to be interesting to see if Cooper resigns with
- 5:52Speaker 5: him too.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Or Cup goes there. I could see I can see
- 5:58Speaker 1: Cup ending up in Buffalo. I don't know what they're
- 6:03Speaker 1: going to give up for, but I can see him
- 6:05Speaker 1: ending up there.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Oh, I don't think it's going to be much to
- 6:07Speaker 5: give up.
- 6:08Speaker 3: No, No, the Rams are not asking for practically anything except.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I think it's a second or third round.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I know, I don't think they're gonna get that, but
- 6:17Speaker 3: I think that's why they're asking. The Rams have offered
- 6:20Speaker 3: to give money towards the salary. That means they just
- 6:23Speaker 3: want to get rid of him. Well, right, so you're
- 6:24Speaker 3: getting the salary. You're getting the salary in a pick.
- 6:27Speaker 3: That's how you're gonna get the pick.
- 6:28Speaker 5: I think the pick's fourth or fifth round.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but I I saw I saw at least a
- 6:33Speaker 1: third round possibly, you know.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Plus so going back to the game, because we'll talk
- 6:38Speaker 3: about big free agency.
- 6:40Speaker 2: So, so you've got you've got one of the best
- 6:42Speaker 2: bood receiving. Course, you've got the best running back, and
- 6:46Speaker 2: somebody coming out here on a door. You have a
- 6:52Speaker 2: quarterback who you haven't battled his entire career.
- 6:56Speaker 5: The weakness, weakness.
- 6:58Speaker 2: But I believe that he is playing better than he
- 7:02Speaker 2: has in years. He's playing better than he did last year.
- 7:06Speaker 2: He's playing better than he did to get them to
- 7:09Speaker 2: the super.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Bowl, well minus the super Bowl, I mean two years ago.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Super Bowl. He's twenty seven to thirty eight for three.
- 7:14Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 7:15Speaker 2: He's playing better than that now he's he's got the
- 7:18Speaker 2: weapons and he's got the Old Line to keep him
- 7:22Speaker 2: to where he can make those decisions.
- 7:25Speaker 5: No, I think that what they've done is this.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Is what Joe Burrow needs. He needed. Know.
- 7:29Speaker 3: What they've done is they brought in Barkley to make
- 7:31Speaker 3: sure that Jalen Hurts doesn't have to make a lot
- 7:33Speaker 3: of throwing decisions.
- 7:34Speaker 1: And that's fine, and he's not that good.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Having having a good run bown having a good run
- 7:39Speaker 2: game and the best receivers in the league's night and day,
- 7:43Speaker 2: it's its lights out, it really helps it. Plus having
- 7:48Speaker 2: the best I think they're the Statistically they're the best
- 7:50Speaker 2: Old line in the league as well.
- 7:52Speaker 3: They are they finished, you know, first in defense, seventh
- 7:56Speaker 3: and offense for the y. I'm talking about the line
- 7:59Speaker 3: I'm talking about that keeps them there.
- 8:02Speaker 1: We thought when Jason Kelsey left at that Toush push was.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Gone, and now they're doing the Toush push and and
- 8:09Speaker 2: it's still working.
- 8:12Speaker 1: And I think it and I honestly I believe, I
- 8:14Speaker 1: do believe that he has been helping coach them as well.
- 8:18Speaker 2: He's been in there talking with the players.
- 8:23Speaker 1: He's an on screen talent.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I think what you're gonna see is a couple of things.
- 8:28Speaker 3: As far as the Super Bowl is, the matchups go.
- 8:30Speaker 3: We've talked a little bit about this. You know, hurts
- 8:33Speaker 3: two years ago. This is not essentially a repeat, but
- 8:36Speaker 3: it's got still a lot of the same players and
- 8:38Speaker 3: a lot of the same players missing.
- 8:40Speaker 1: We're missing a running back and a couple.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Of defensive Okay, you're missing the running back. They lost by.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Three, and Mahomes had a hell of a fourth, you know,
- 8:48Speaker 3: and you've got Pacheco, Yeah, the older one that Pacheco
- 8:53Speaker 3: had the.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Hell of the game in the second.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Seriously, remember to Night and Day defensive coordinators as well.
- 9:01Speaker 3: No, I agree with that because they give up thirty
- 9:02Speaker 3: eight points, but at halftime it was twenty four to fourteen.
- 9:06Speaker 3: The But my point is is the one X factor
- 9:09Speaker 3: of this, and you've already talked about it, is Saquon Barkley.
- 9:11Speaker 3: He's the guy that's gonna make the difference in this game.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And that's why when you gotta look, you gotta look
- 9:15Speaker 2: at that championship game, it wasn't just Barkley.
- 9:18Speaker 1: You remember Dane Weell got free as well.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Well, I think that I think that. Now, let's not
- 9:25Speaker 5: compare what they done.
- 9:27Speaker 3: But the Redskins showed up to be the Redskins who
- 9:31Speaker 3: we all thought they should have been.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Okay, so what the Redskins did against Detroit was you
- 9:36Speaker 2: just you just say.
- 9:37Speaker 5: That was that was just well we talked about golf.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Four turn four turnover.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I know, but you're just saying, but that was the
- 9:43Speaker 2: defense that got those four turnovers.
- 9:46Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 9:47Speaker 3: I mean, I thought golf played like chammered shit. I mean,
- 9:50Speaker 3: it's it's why Sean McVay years ago.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I love.
- 9:54Speaker 5: That's why Sean.
- 9:56Speaker 3: That's why Sean McVay years ago, after the Super Bowl
- 9:59Speaker 3: they lost, he had to say, Okay, we got to
- 10:02Speaker 3: get a new quarterback. He took us to the super Bowl.
- 10:06Speaker 3: This team's in the Super Bowl were so much better.
- 10:09Speaker 3: He's the week Link. Let's trade him, give Detroit picks
- 10:14Speaker 3: and then turn around and go, oh wait, thank you
- 10:17Speaker 3: Matt Stafford. And now we won a super Bowl. That
- 10:21Speaker 3: shows the difference, right, But they did. But I think
- 10:23Speaker 3: the Redskins showed up finally to what we thought they
- 10:27Speaker 3: was gonna be.
- 10:27Speaker 2: But they did that. But no, hey, hey, congratulations Jayden
- 10:32Speaker 2: and Daniels. My pick for Rookie of the Year, my
- 10:34Speaker 2: pick for the Bears first round pick who they did
- 10:37Speaker 2: not take, and absolute, uh, how would you how would
- 10:43Speaker 2: you put that?
- 10:43Speaker 1: He is? Uh?
- 10:45Speaker 2: He was like a doctor on the field until he
- 10:47Speaker 2: got to that championship game we played.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But still he was a doctor.
- 10:53Speaker 2: He was slicing, he was cutting, he was doing surgery,
- 11:00Speaker 2: was doing surgery until he got to that championship game.
- 11:04Speaker 5: The analogies are just unreal tonight.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Well, you know what, Kenny, I don't do what you do.
- 11:08Speaker 5: And hello, we are from the nineteen seventies.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I don't do stop stop, I don't do I don't
- 11:14Speaker 3: cutting edge, I.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Don't do what you do.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And listen to the modern commentators and just regurgitate what
- 11:20Speaker 2: they say.
- 11:21Speaker 5: I don't you do you do?
- 11:23Speaker 1: I don't? Oh? How many times did I have to
- 11:26Speaker 1: hear generational talent?
- 11:27Speaker 5: Well, that word's funny because everyone uses it.
- 11:30Speaker 1: And that's why recently there was there was God, what
- 11:34Speaker 1: were you saying? That was so? And I was like,
- 11:36Speaker 1: I for the comment.
- 11:38Speaker 5: That was a good one.
- 11:39Speaker 1: There was there was another generational term, but it was
- 11:43Speaker 1: and I know that you'd heard that from commentators.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Well, not necessarily sports commentators, definitely, and you were definitely
- 11:51Speaker 3: saying it because people say it too much.
- 11:53Speaker 1: And I regurgitate the ship out of it, just.
- 11:56Speaker 5: The words, not the not the analogies or not the knowledge.
- 11:59Speaker 1: But he was he was very precise. He was, he was.
- 12:02Speaker 2: He was very particulous until he got to that championship
- 12:05Speaker 2: game and he got beat by a.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Three to four front.
- 12:10Speaker 2: He really did like he did not know what to do.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Regular season, you do remember they won one game. They
- 12:14Speaker 2: lost the other game I think by six points.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Yeah, kind of a fluky game though, Washington. But no,
- 12:23Speaker 3: I mean when you compare that game, it's tough to
- 12:25Speaker 3: compare because you're really.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Well the second on the second game was tough.
- 12:30Speaker 5: To Washington's defense is so bad.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I remember to say the second the second game was
- 12:34Speaker 1: tough to compare. Remember that was the kiddie picking.
- 12:36Speaker 5: I mean, let's be honest. Washington way over achieved.
- 12:39Speaker 2: They were the we we knew they were going to
- 12:42Speaker 2: but we did not know that they were going to
- 12:44Speaker 2: go to the championship.
- 12:45Speaker 5: That's correct. No, I totally agree, and we had.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Picked them to overachieve, but we had picked them to
- 12:51Speaker 2: overachieve that much.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Correct, and they were six and a half.
- 12:56Speaker 5: They were this year's Broncos.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Well, the Broncos were. This is Broncos too.
- 13:01Speaker 5: No, that's what I'm saying.
- 13:02Speaker 3: The Washington was the AFC version of the Broncos, right,
- 13:05Speaker 3: because both those teams farther had a hell of so
- 13:12Speaker 3: so No, going back to what I was talking about,
- 13:15Speaker 3: obviously the number one defense that Barkley is the key
- 13:21Speaker 3: on this, I think, which you do if you're Kansas
- 13:23Speaker 3: City is Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, you wish. Philadelphia generally
- 13:33Speaker 3: starts out a little slow, so has the Chiefs in
- 13:36Speaker 3: the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh has gotten better during the regular season,
- 13:41Speaker 3: Kansas City is still a little I'm gonna say, I'm.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Gonna say's key for the Chiefs especially to stop No.
- 13:46Speaker 5: I think you make her.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Hold on it's it's it's one you keep a four man.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Front at minimum with a spy at minimum, with a
- 13:57Speaker 3: linebacker spy.
- 13:59Speaker 2: That linebacker spy has got to be able to stop
- 14:02Speaker 2: saque left or right as you send that format. If
- 14:08Speaker 2: that format front is stopping, that's fine. If you can
- 14:11Speaker 2: force Jalen to have to run her throw that's also fine.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But to keep the game under control, you're gonna have
- 14:20Speaker 2: to run that foreman and you're gonna have to keep
- 14:22Speaker 2: a spy linebacker. So that means that you might end
- 14:26Speaker 2: up with at least two guys running man to man
- 14:30Speaker 2: every defensive down just to keep Saquon Barkley in line,
- 14:37Speaker 2: just to keep a.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Guy there who will you know, be watching.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Of course, defensive coordinators everywhere will say, we don't do spies,
- 14:45Speaker 3: Well you kind of do.
- 14:46Speaker 5: I mean, depends on how you run your defense.
- 14:48Speaker 3: See you know, spy, spy, whatever you want to call it,
- 14:52Speaker 3: whatever you want to call it. But what they're gonna
- 14:54Speaker 3: have to do is make Hurts throw the ball.
- 14:57Speaker 1: It was back in the an Ali and A and
- 14:59Speaker 1: a little and just make just.
- 15:02Speaker 5: Make Hurts throw the ball. That'll win you the game, right,
- 15:04Speaker 5: But you have to get to that point.
- 15:05Speaker 2: You have to get to that point, and that's what
- 15:07Speaker 2: I'm saying. You have to run a four man front
- 15:09Speaker 2: at least with that offensive.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Line and to the benefit of the the two best
- 15:14Speaker 3: wide if not the best wide receiver tandem in.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I'll say three best wide receivers plus in that game,
- 15:23Speaker 2: they are getting two guys back that I cannot pull up.
- 15:26Speaker 5: For some reason talking about secondary.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Uh two, well they're getting they're getting two guys off.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I R because the February ninth is when they come off.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I R if you just go look at the game.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I can't. I don't know what's going on with this Google.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I'm just Google crooms so it's not given me the.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I did see that. I did see a resa. Is
- 15:59Speaker 3: he still sick for the.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Okay?
- 16:03Speaker 1: So I did see a child over there just now.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I did randomly see a weirdness.
- 16:09Speaker 5: There's is sick. I think it's what I've heard.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I can't remember.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Yes, so oh you're talking about.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Okay, so they've got to guys they've got.
- 16:22Speaker 5: And Brandon Graham.
- 16:23Speaker 1: They the Brandon Graham is going to be the big part,
- 16:26Speaker 1: going to be a big.
- 16:27Speaker 5: He might be able to play. Yes, the other ones
- 16:29Speaker 5: is not is not going to play. They just got
- 16:31Speaker 5: brought off that.
- 16:33Speaker 1: But like I said, I know there's two guys coming
- 16:34Speaker 1: off that that are.
- 16:36Speaker 5: But otherwise I think everybody's pretty healthy.
- 16:39Speaker 1: But anyway, go look at the chiefs, and you look
- 16:42Speaker 1: at the chiefs they've got.
- 16:44Speaker 3: But it's really you know, we talked about it Barclay's
- 16:48Speaker 3: the key cog in this.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Turnovers are always huge in the Super Bowl.
- 16:53Speaker 4: And Philly is not a turnover. And who plays the
- 16:56Speaker 4: best Philly's defense is the turnover. Who's the best line team?
- 17:00Speaker 4: Everything points to the Eagles. That's why I've got the
- 17:02Speaker 4: Eagles winning. I've got them thirty one twenty three. And
- 17:07Speaker 4: I told you and I think a close game.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And I told you last week when I had though, Yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 1: what was it?
- 17:11Speaker 5: Do you remember? I think what did you say? I
- 17:16Speaker 5: think thirty one twenty three?
- 17:17Speaker 1: I think I think I said thirty one fifteen? You
- 17:21Speaker 1: wrote it down. I got to go back.
- 17:24Speaker 2: But anyways, I took sixty three points, and I took
- 17:26Speaker 2: sixty four points in our Yeah, very way over.
- 17:30Speaker 1: No ship way way over. I know that. I keep
- 17:34Speaker 1: going back.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Oh there it is fifteen. I had forty four points.
- 17:39Speaker 2: But I'm going way over, just in our just in
- 17:43Speaker 2: our pick. I mean, what, you scored fifty five points
- 17:46Speaker 2: in your championship game?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Like I said, you can't compare that. Washington's got a
- 17:50Speaker 3: horrible defense. Well, Kansas City's got a good defense, but Kansas.
- 17:54Speaker 2: But Kansas City scored how many points against Buffalo? Thirty?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah? So there's at least thirty two. So you like
- 18:04Speaker 1: I said, you know, hey, we're gonna give him this.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Well, I think that I think that Buffalo's defense is
- 18:08Speaker 3: night day. They are better than Washington, not as good
- 18:13Speaker 3: as the Eagles.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Buffalo is a weird defense. So they're on.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Like I said, you know, they played the Ravens and
- 18:18Speaker 2: they were on, and then they went to Kansas City
- 18:21Speaker 2: and they couldn't stop anything over the middle to Travis Kelcey.
- 18:24Speaker 5: They couldn't, knowing full well down yea.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Knowing full well that everything was gonna go to Travis
- 18:29Speaker 2: Kelcey over the middle.
- 18:30Speaker 5: They they did not have a heard down. They was
- 18:32Speaker 5: atrocious for them.
- 18:34Speaker 1: And fourth downs both were.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I can understand a fourth down, but
- 18:37Speaker 3: both of them. And that's and that's a good point
- 18:39Speaker 3: to bring up.
- 18:40Speaker 2: You were talking about the guy that got he couldn't.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Eagles are known for going forth on fourth downs. Oh, absolutely,
- 18:48Speaker 5: Chiefs are as much. But they will well, it'll be
- 18:51Speaker 5: interesting to see how.
- 18:54Speaker 3: They play that aspect of it and who comes out tight,
- 18:57Speaker 3: who's got the most to lose.
- 18:59Speaker 5: That's why I think that that Chiefs will come out tight.
- 19:01Speaker 3: I think it's gonna be low scoring in the beginning,
- 19:04Speaker 3: kind of ticks up a little bit.
- 19:05Speaker 5: Homes makes a run.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Second half is a blow up Homes.
- 19:09Speaker 5: That's that's whatever makes it a run at the end.
- 19:11Speaker 5: And I well, I mean, I'm just.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Gonna say both teams will open up in the second half.
- 19:14Speaker 5: I think it's closed.
- 19:15Speaker 1: The first half is going to be a tit for tat.
- 19:18Speaker 1: It's gonna be, oh, you score, we score, you score,
- 19:20Speaker 1: we score. You know, you know, back and forth.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Maybe one team gets a field goal or the other
- 19:24Speaker 2: gets keeps getting touchdowns.
- 19:27Speaker 1: But but it's but.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Generally, you know, like we talked about, Super Bowl, start
- 19:31Speaker 3: out slow just because they're filling each other out the adjustments.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Both teams have good defenses, so you're you know, you're
- 19:37Speaker 3: playing good defense offense.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Who's gonna be uh, who's going to be tight? I
- 19:44Speaker 5: think it's the Chiefs on this farm.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Maybe not because they are, but maybe they well maybe no,
- 19:50Speaker 3: because maybe they've been there for all this time and
- 19:52Speaker 3: all the time, they're not the ones that are time.
- 19:54Speaker 5: I disagree. What I love about this super Bowl more
- 19:57Speaker 5: pressures on them.
- 19:58Speaker 1: What I love about the Super Bowl is that.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Both teams have been there you're finally not looking at
- 20:07Speaker 2: a team that's been there versus a team that's not
- 20:09Speaker 2: been there.
- 20:11Speaker 5: In the headlight, teams right, get their ass pummeled. And
- 20:13Speaker 5: that's fifty five.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:15Speaker 2: So Tampa Bay versus Cincinnati, Tom Brady had been there.
- 20:20Speaker 1: The other guys that were around him had not.
- 20:21Speaker 2: But was it Chiefs Rams?
- 20:27Speaker 1: But they had been there before.
- 20:29Speaker 5: That game wasn't that far apart though, if I'm not mistaken.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Those years a year after, but you but you remember
- 20:34Speaker 2: that the Rams had been there before.
- 20:35Speaker 5: No, I thought the game was close, is what I'm saying.
- 20:37Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, they.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Had, So that's what I'm saying. So so now that
- 20:40Speaker 2: they've been there, they know how to prepare that you know.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Of course, Andy Reid, love that man, God bless his soul,
- 20:46Speaker 2: came out of the Mike Holme Gram coaching tree.
- 20:50Speaker 3: If you remember that, it was only twenty three to
- 20:52Speaker 3: twenty songs, and I think, but.
- 20:54Speaker 2: You remember that Andy Reid came out of the Mike
- 20:56Speaker 2: Holme Gram coaching tree.
- 20:58Speaker 1: He was with Dick Jeron.
- 20:59Speaker 5: He did well at.
- 21:01Speaker 2: God uh who was the Lions coach that they had,
- 21:04Speaker 2: the Italian guy.
- 21:06Speaker 5: He did Wayne Fons.
- 21:08Speaker 1: No, Dwayne fonce he was the was the slick slick air.
- 21:13Speaker 6: Oh yes, you know, there was a lot of coaches
- 21:19Speaker 6: that came out of that, and Andy has been Yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 6: Bruden came out of that, but Andy's been the one
- 21:26Speaker 6: that's had the most success.
- 21:28Speaker 1: And then look out of his coaching tree it is
- 21:31Speaker 1: it has.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Been now Yeah, any uh, And he doesn't get enough
- 21:38Speaker 3: credit for what he's done at Philadelphia.
- 21:40Speaker 1: No. I loved Andy a Philadelphia.
- 21:42Speaker 5: Took him to the super Bowl, and I thought that
- 21:44Speaker 5: if you look.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And how many times did he how many times did
- 21:47Speaker 2: you look at him and think he was the coach
- 21:49Speaker 2: that's never gonna win the Super Bowl because he got
- 21:53Speaker 2: to the championship. Donovan McNabb got him to the championship,
- 21:57Speaker 2: got him there. He just wasn't that good, got him there,
- 21:59Speaker 2: but then got him to the super Bowl.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Finally. Yeah, he played, Yeah he did, Donovan plays.
- 22:05Speaker 1: A lot lot.
- 22:06Speaker 5: I don't. I never thought he was that well.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I thought he was great. I just thought he made
- 22:10Speaker 1: horrible decisions in big games.
- 22:12Speaker 5: But worse than others.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Right, well, worse than Jalen Hurts, if.
- 22:16Speaker 2: You want to do that, worse than than Allen, Worse
- 22:20Speaker 2: than Allen worse than Rock Party.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he donovan mean had made very rock.
- 22:28Speaker 5: I have not talked to enough about it.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I know, we don't even what's going on in this contract.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So we're waiting sixteen thirty five dollars with a bonus
- 22:41Speaker 1: of forty million.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Now you can't can you achieve this?
- 22:46Speaker 1: You get forty million dollars.
- 22:47Speaker 3: You can't talk, you can't you can't predict turnovers. And
- 22:52Speaker 3: that's gonna be always. It's always key and penalties.
- 22:56Speaker 5: At at wrong times. How the refs play into.
- 22:59Speaker 1: It, there's gonna be well, we already know the chefs.
- 23:01Speaker 1: We already know the chefs. They we already know that.
- 23:03Speaker 1: The Refs Association came out and said there is absolutely
- 23:07Speaker 1: zero zero penalties that are called in favor of the chiefs.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I don't know if you saw that that came out. Yeah.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Oh by the way, I'm sorry that we are almost
- 23:24Speaker 2: thirty minutes in, but I forgot to say, rip uh
- 23:29Speaker 2: baby Bear. Virginia McCaskey, Yes, for the bear one hundred
- 23:34Speaker 2: and three years old.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Did we give Bob Bucker the old or I.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Don't remember if we gave Bob Buker or Jeff Torberg,
- 23:41Speaker 2: especially Bob Yuker.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Bob Yucker was one.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Of our Yeah outside BAL eighteen, the kids from the
- 23:49Speaker 2: California Penal League.
- 23:52Speaker 1: O forgot.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I forgot if we ever gave Bob Byuker. I think
- 23:56Speaker 2: we tried to remember.
- 23:58Speaker 1: But Jeff Torberg MLB coach as well. Uh, and then uh.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Baby Bear Virginia McCaskey. I'm sure there is Uh.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I I don't know.
- 24:12Speaker 2: But back to the game. I'm taking Philly Philly in
- 24:15Speaker 2: a favor.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Uh. There's no three peat for the Chiefs. It's it's
- 24:20Speaker 1: a it's a pipe dream for them.
- 24:23Speaker 5: It's and and and they'll be back next year or close.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 24:27Speaker 2: I just because you have you have Spendula that's not leaving,
- 24:32Speaker 2: because he's already had his fill and he said it
- 24:34Speaker 2: at numerous times.
- 24:35Speaker 1: You I've had my fill of being a head coach.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I'm done.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I just somehow the rams come out. Hey, you got
- 24:44Speaker 3: p Ryan or you've got Checo making some sort of
- 24:49Speaker 3: just an amazing running game.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Then will lose. That's the one key that's so different.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Yes, I'm gonna say Simon J.
- 25:01Speaker 2: P Ryant is a very underrated running back who is
- 25:04Speaker 2: a pass catcher, very good pass catcher. Because he went
- 25:08Speaker 2: with Joe Mixon and Joe Burrow in that Super Bowl
- 25:15Speaker 2: against the Rams.
- 25:16Speaker 1: He played for them for years.
- 25:18Speaker 2: That was your one two tandem that worked very well,
- 25:22Speaker 2: and they got rid of that one too tandem.
- 25:24Speaker 5: Bengals are just cheap.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Oh, they just got they did, they just let How
- 25:31Speaker 2: did okay, explain to me how Joe Burrow got the
- 25:33Speaker 2: comeback player?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Okay, there were a lot of guys that were hurt.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You know what.
- 25:39Speaker 2: You know who would have been my comeback player? Mike Evans,
- 25:43Speaker 2: I know your panties are just wet right now.
- 25:45Speaker 1: He didn't.
- 25:45Speaker 5: He didn't.
- 25:46Speaker 2: He did get but he did get hurt. He did
- 25:51Speaker 2: get hurt and came back to have a thousand yard season.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Can you not tell me that that's more immaculate.
- 25:59Speaker 1: And a Burrow. I think what they fight, not having
- 26:02Speaker 1: an offensive thing.
- 26:03Speaker 5: I think they want to take you and make you
- 26:04Speaker 5: a complete year. This year. You got to do it
- 26:06Speaker 5: last year. You got a fuck up.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Last year, but he did didn't got hurt, ye, yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 3: but not near as bad as this year.
- 26:12Speaker 2: It's still got a thousand yards, got hurt the year
- 26:15Speaker 2: before that still had one thousand yards.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 5: I first got Hall of famer.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I've been I know that I'm making that.
- 26:22Speaker 5: You're coming around to my thinking on the mic Cavin.
- 26:25Speaker 1: You know what, as long as you come around on
- 26:27Speaker 1: the rock, pretty it's fun.
- 26:29Speaker 3: To what that he made one accidental super Bowl and
- 26:32Speaker 3: then that's it it.
- 26:35Speaker 1: He got screwed this year, bad o line. They're down injury.
- 26:39Speaker 2: We talked about the old team was injury riddled and
- 26:43Speaker 2: they never should have got rid of Steve Wilks as
- 26:45Speaker 2: their decordinator.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Okay, so we can we talk about free agency right now.
- 26:49Speaker 3: We can talk about Miles Garrett.
- 26:50Speaker 5: What I take.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I know you want to do this.
- 26:53Speaker 5: I take you.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I text you earlier this right as soon as I
- 26:57Speaker 3: heard it and I said, I'm gonna go on.
- 27:00Speaker 5: This one's got a shot Bucks.
- 27:02Speaker 3: It comes out that his list of teams, allegedly the
- 27:06Speaker 3: Bucks are included this Bill's forty nine Ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bucks.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Hold on Chargers, Chargers.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Chargers are thrown in there because the Chargers are looking
- 27:17Speaker 2: at Khalil Matt.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Joey, like I said, Joey Bossa. So there's a
- 27:22Speaker 1: lot of messages.
- 27:22Speaker 5: They're not leaving hold on, hold on for everybody.
- 27:24Speaker 1: No, no, no, there's a lot of messages to go
- 27:26Speaker 1: back and forth between me and him.
- 27:27Speaker 5: They're not gonna leave them.
- 27:29Speaker 2: But Joey Bosa has been hurt his entire career off
- 27:33Speaker 2: and on. Has he had one complete season? I don't
- 27:36Speaker 2: remember Khalil Mack. They're looking at aging out and so
- 27:41Speaker 2: the Chargers are saying, well, you know, Miles Garrett, we
- 27:44Speaker 2: have a really good offense.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Now we don't need our first round pick for two years.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I would say right now that the Chargers do not
- 27:51Speaker 2: need their first round pick for two years.
- 27:54Speaker 1: They're looking at They're looking at a complete.
- 27:56Speaker 3: They should be looking they should be looking at Cup
- 27:58Speaker 3: more than they should be looking at Miles.
- 28:00Speaker 2: But still that's only a third round pick.
- 28:04Speaker 1: They need a ride receiver number two.
- 28:06Speaker 2: They've only got McConkie because Quentin Johnson is still Quentin Jones.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Although I believe Zach at one point said he would
- 28:15Speaker 3: be the rookie of the year in the wide receiver race.
- 28:17Speaker 2: And but how many drops did he have this season?
- 28:22Speaker 1: Five fifteen?
- 28:25Speaker 2: I know that he got lucky with Xavier Worthy.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Remember he picked up He's like, oh.
- 28:32Speaker 5: He had a good he had a good game.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah, he got picked up. With that, he got picked up,
- 28:36Speaker 2: but l A Chargers had the most game from it.
- 28:42Speaker 2: And I know, but there's also been talking about the
- 28:44Speaker 2: Bears getting the Packers especially. I know that that's been
- 28:48Speaker 2: I've seen multiple articles written on that.
- 28:51Speaker 5: The Packers, Packers. Yeah, and who else?
- 28:56Speaker 1: Did we talk.
- 28:57Speaker 5: About Lions possibility.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Lines because they want somebody next to Aiden Hutchinson. Look,
- 29:04Speaker 1: they can give up multiple picks for three years and
- 29:07Speaker 1: not need it. You know, my team is stacked. That
- 29:10Speaker 1: team is stacked from.
- 29:12Speaker 5: I joked about the Cowboys Dallas.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Oh and Jerry, Jerry will give up the fun. Well
- 29:18Speaker 1: just to have a superstar.
- 29:19Speaker 3: You re signed Parsons, you bring in Garrett and and
- 29:24Speaker 3: you take some heat off of the really bad off.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Season, or you take the heat off of the really
- 29:31Speaker 2: bad offense that you have.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Well, no, and then you know they're getting a lot
- 29:34Speaker 3: of ship for Derrick Henry when they come out and said, well,
- 29:36Speaker 3: Cowboys just couldn't afford Derek Henry last year he had
- 29:40Speaker 3: expressed interests in playing for the Cowboys and they said, no,
- 29:42Speaker 3: we can't pay that, we can't afford you.
- 29:44Speaker 5: Jerry didn't want so, No, he does it. That's the
- 29:47Speaker 5: whole problem.
- 29:47Speaker 3: And Jerry, he doesn't want to pay these guys overpays
- 29:52Speaker 3: these pseudo stars.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Right, he.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Bit you let so you let who's the kid went
- 30:00Speaker 2: to uh Tennessee.
- 30:05Speaker 1: But he did very well there last season. I mean,
- 30:09Speaker 1: he wasn't horrible. Pollard let Poulard go.
- 30:15Speaker 2: And he brought back Ezekiel Elliott because he thought that
- 30:18Speaker 2: was gonna.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Be a well, that was just cheap return to return
- 30:21Speaker 1: to form.
- 30:22Speaker 5: That was that was a cheap move there.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Yeah, but we all know that he was never gonna
- 30:26Speaker 2: return to form.
- 30:28Speaker 1: We're will aware there's no form with him.
- 30:32Speaker 3: All right, marking down slap a label. Miles Garrett will
- 30:35Speaker 3: be picked two places, Sean, where's.
- 30:37Speaker 5: The end up?
- 30:39Speaker 1: Detroit, Las Chargers.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Okay, I'm gonna go Uheers and now I'm gonna go
- 30:47Speaker 3: Tampa and I'm gonna go bills for Seer, which I.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Also told you that Baltimore does that, sneaky bs.
- 30:54Speaker 5: They won't do it in the division though.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I know, But but Baltimore does this, sneaky be.
- 30:58Speaker 5: I don't want to ifave and do it the same conference.
- 31:00Speaker 2: But then if you look, but then if you look,
- 31:02Speaker 2: well okay, so so also I saw that the Cincinnati
- 31:05Speaker 2: could definitely use him.
- 31:07Speaker 5: No, they're way too cheap, I know.
- 31:09Speaker 2: But like I said, Cincinnati, Uh, and then it was
- 31:14Speaker 2: it was the other teams that I said that would
- 31:17Speaker 2: try to take you.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Yeah, i'm gonna go. I'm gonna go Tampa, I'm gonna go.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I'm not going to I'm going I'm going Chargers or oh.
- 31:26Speaker 3: One sneaky team we talked about and we both agreed
- 31:29Speaker 3: on this, and we didn't mention in our top two
- 31:30Speaker 3: is Washington.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I forgot about what.
- 31:33Speaker 3: A lot of cap space, good quarterback huge because we
- 31:36Speaker 3: looked that up.
- 31:37Speaker 5: Cooper Cup would also be a good fit.
- 31:39Speaker 3: So Washington hate Why don't you take both those guys,
- 31:42Speaker 3: trade for them, trade for both.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Because you are doing very well on finance and defense.
- 31:49Speaker 5: Financially well, defense is trash. That's why they know.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I mean, they were still they're still doing very well.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Ain't any good I know, But you.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Know, look, they've got an eighty one million dollar caps.
- 32:01Speaker 3: They're going to be the third highest, they're thirteen availability.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Yes to mention, Uh, nobody's going to New England.
- 32:10Speaker 2: We know that, but we forgot to mention New England
- 32:13Speaker 2: because everybody loves the mension.
- 32:14Speaker 5: New England No, he's not going.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Robert Kraft is done, Bill check is out, Brady's gone,
- 32:20Speaker 2: all the all the players.
- 32:21Speaker 1: That you have like the higher though, do you think
- 32:24Speaker 1: it's going to change it? Culture is going to change it? Over?
- 32:27Speaker 3: Well, it all depends on who's who's the coordinator. No, no,
- 32:33Speaker 3: Monking State. But Baltimore they signed him to a big
- 32:36Speaker 3: fatty deal and he's good.
- 32:40Speaker 5: He is so good. Look Lebar Jackson at his best
- 32:42Speaker 5: year is the uh?
- 32:44Speaker 1: So we did we did? Do?
- 32:45Speaker 2: I sent Kenny a text about the top the top
- 32:48Speaker 2: Obviously the top twelve teams. Granted you could throw Green
- 32:53Speaker 2: Bay into the thirteenth spot, but the top twelve teams
- 32:57Speaker 2: with the cap space New England, Vegas, Washington, Arizona, Chicago, Chargers,
- 33:03Speaker 2: And that's what I'm saying.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Chargers are a.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Big heavy because they could do the big contract. Minnesota
- 33:09Speaker 2: Detroit are both up there.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Somehow, Detroit's gonna have to well out because of all
- 33:13Speaker 3: the youth. Detroit's gonna have to do something short term
- 33:16Speaker 3: before Gibbs.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Here's the question, how was San Francisco setting at number
- 33:21Speaker 2: nine with everything that they've got going on.
- 33:25Speaker 5: I wouldn't have thought they did that.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Exactly, and then Tennessee, Cincinnati and New York Giants with
- 33:30Speaker 2: Green Bay right behind him. Now we all know that Pittsburgh,
- 33:34Speaker 2: who was sitting at number fourteen has a quarterback issue, so.
- 33:38Speaker 5: So had it? Did they announce that?
- 33:42Speaker 1: I have not seen.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I've just seen that that they just keep saying, you know,
- 33:49Speaker 2: we at a quarterback?
- 33:50Speaker 1: What quarterback are we keeping? Gotcha? All right? Well that
- 33:56Speaker 1: was it it for NFL. I mean, there's no big coaching.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Uh waiting on the Saints and that's going to be smiling.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, that they haven't brought that up yet.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Uh that's the report Sports Illustrated issue report that they
- 34:14Speaker 3: were done with rest of Wilson.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Okay, And I don't know any other NFL news. I don't.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I don't know any college football news.
- 34:28Speaker 7: Oh you is keeping Brett Vinables, but apparently I saw
- 34:32Speaker 7: an article that a lot of people hired behind him,
- 34:35Speaker 7: that he hired behind him are very good at their jobs.
- 34:40Speaker 5: So I'm talking about.
- 34:43Speaker 2: For college football for Brett Vinibles, and you know he's
- 34:46Speaker 2: the defensive Yeah, he's calling the plays. But I did
- 34:50Speaker 2: see an article that said that everyone that he hired
- 34:52Speaker 2: behind him are very good defensive people. So he's he
- 34:57Speaker 2: stacked himself. That's all I'm that. That is all I'm saying about. Yeah,
- 35:02Speaker 2: he's very he's very well staffed.
- 35:04Speaker 5: Here's the problem.
- 35:05Speaker 3: I think we're going to be a much better team
- 35:06Speaker 3: and uh still finish about six and six.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Seven five and.
- 35:11Speaker 3: The record, our schedule, well, one report had us already
- 35:15Speaker 3: at the hardest for next year.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Yes, I know. I saw that.
- 35:18Speaker 2: I saw that Oklahoma still had the hardest college football schedule.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I saw the Big twelve had released their schedule.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Billy Napier Look at Billy what he did at Florida
- 35:26Speaker 3: though crazy. I talked about him on this podcast way
- 35:29Speaker 3: before he was hired. I loved it, and they were
- 35:33Speaker 3: going to fire him, that dude.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Three years they were going to fire him.
- 35:36Speaker 5: And yeah, that dude is a coach and the class
- 35:40Speaker 5: is way up there that show.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Well, here's the thing. So ACC has released their schedule.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Big ten, I believe was released their schedule, Big twelve
- 35:47Speaker 2: was released their schedule.
- 35:49Speaker 1: We already kind of know the SEC. Because of the SEC.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Everything is backwards.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I do know.
- 35:56Speaker 3: It was announced also today that Alabama hosting Oklahoma.
- 36:02Speaker 5: That will be Alabama's homecoming.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Okay, UH as well, as I have seen numerous towards
- 36:11Speaker 2: of Auburn getting what the number one.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Receiver out of the portals.
- 36:21Speaker 2: And there's yeah, allegedly so sports allegedly allegedly. Uh, there
- 36:27Speaker 2: is a lot that is going to go on with
- 36:30Speaker 2: Auburn and Auburn having you know, our quarterback ex quarterback
- 36:34Speaker 2: from Oklahoma, Jackson Arnold, and that he will have numerous
- 36:38Speaker 2: targets and a very very good running back.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I think as well, they're a good team. Is good
- 36:45Speaker 1: like like Hugh Freeze has started to pull in the guys.
- 36:48Speaker 3: You gotta understand, we were lucky to beat them last year.
- 36:50Speaker 3: I mean that was a miracle win.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Well, we weren't lucky. We should have beat them, but
- 36:55Speaker 2: we should have. We should have dominated them. I mean
- 36:58Speaker 2: we should have. We should have.
- 36:59Speaker 5: Beat should should So here's the thing.
- 37:01Speaker 1: We should have beat Old. Miss oh, I don't know
- 37:04Speaker 1: about that. No, we should have and we had that game.
- 37:06Speaker 1: We were at the game.
- 37:08Speaker 2: I don't care what you say. I was in three
- 37:09Speaker 2: hours of sleep. We should have won.
- 37:12Speaker 1: That game until the fourth quarter when everything fell apart.
- 37:16Speaker 2: So we're gonna see my Tier, We're gonna see Materier,
- 37:19Speaker 2: We're gonna see Uh, what's his nuts?
- 37:21Speaker 3: Well, we definitely upgraded on offense. If you want to
- 37:23Speaker 3: talk about you, We definitely upgraded on offense.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Yeah, well I want to talk about college.
- 37:27Speaker 5: Went into that portal pieces.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I saw Grub went to went to Alabama.
- 37:32Speaker 2: So he's back with Did he really got grub Grub
- 37:35Speaker 2: went to Alabama analyst?
- 37:37Speaker 1: No, I think he's gonna say.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Wow, he ran back there after he already told him
- 37:43Speaker 3: for a week and then left.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I could have swore I saw that.
- 37:49Speaker 5: I don't think he is. Then who who did they
- 37:53Speaker 5: get rid of?
- 37:56Speaker 2: Hold on, it's it's just yeah, there's new offensive coordinator.
- 38:02Speaker 5: Well they fired the other guy.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they said they fired the other guy at the
- 38:07Speaker 2: end of the season, that he's gonna be Yeah.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Okay, So there it is right there.
- 38:18Speaker 2: One day ago, Ryan Grubb from the Roll Tide Wire
- 38:21Speaker 2: hired as Alabama offensive coordinator.
- 38:25Speaker 1: How did you not see that?
- 38:27Speaker 2: I don't know how this did not come past you
- 38:29Speaker 2: because you remember that he got fired from Seattle even
- 38:32Speaker 2: though Seattle had some of the best numbers.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Oh I did.
- 38:37Speaker 3: I thought the firing was a horrible The rest have
- 38:41Speaker 3: been something.
- 38:41Speaker 2: No, it was horrible. It was It was a horrible
- 38:43Speaker 2: decision by Seattle. That's all I'm saying. They should not
- 38:48Speaker 2: have fired him. I know that he was hired as
- 38:50Speaker 2: a friend hire, but he should not have been fired
- 38:55Speaker 2: because their offense was not that bad. And so okay,
- 39:02Speaker 2: So Nick Sheridan will stay on staff, but his role
- 39:06Speaker 2: is unclear, so they're EXOC.
- 39:10Speaker 1: They don't know. Okay, so he is there, but Ryan Grubb.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Is coming out as ze OC. So I'm just I'm
- 39:16Speaker 2: passing that along. I don't know.
- 39:18Speaker 5: I didn't realize that's that's interesting.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I thought you knew that. No I did.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Back to NFL though, Connor Riley, we're talking about college
- 39:26Speaker 3: k State offensive line coach got uh went to Dallas.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Dallas has got a weird team right now. But Dallas
- 39:34Speaker 1: is hiring a lot of weird guys. I think he is.
- 39:37Speaker 1: But I don't know if you've noticed that. They're they're
- 39:39Speaker 1: hiring a lot of a lot of uh not big names.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I didn't know, but shot members bringing in a lot
- 39:45Speaker 1: of But.
- 39:46Speaker 5: We know him, that's what we Yeah, we know him.
- 39:48Speaker 1: We played against him.
- 39:49Speaker 2: We were we watch our teams play against him.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry we never played against him.
- 39:54Speaker 2: If I played against him, you know we'd win all
- 39:56Speaker 2: the time, especially with Kenny Is our offensive coordinator over here.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Just don't run the ball on third down.
- 40:06Speaker 2: But uh yeah we we Oh you was playing against
- 40:10Speaker 2: him because we're only two years and now into the SEC.
- 40:13Speaker 3: What also saw that Marshall Falk got hired at Colorado
- 40:18Speaker 3: as the running backs coach.
- 40:19Speaker 1: I don't what's he gonna do?
- 40:21Speaker 2: So, cors you do realize that Marshall Funk has a
- 40:24Speaker 2: huge car dealership, and it's uh, it's just cute time.
- 40:28Speaker 2: It's more cute time with Colorado with Key, more cute
- 40:32Speaker 2: time with coach Prime.
- 40:35Speaker 1: I don't.
- 40:35Speaker 2: I don't know if you notice that seem so Now
- 40:38Speaker 2: you've got Marshall Fawk as you're running back coach. Uh
- 40:41Speaker 2: can he teach the kids to run like he did?
- 40:45Speaker 2: Who can you teach talent? You know there there comes
- 40:49Speaker 2: into that, uh that argument can you teach talent?
- 40:55Speaker 1: My?
- 40:55Speaker 2: My, my, I'm gonna tell you right now, if I
- 40:58Speaker 2: had to hire running back coach, I would con Barry
- 41:01Speaker 2: Sanders into coming in. Yeah, but I mean would Smith
- 41:06Speaker 2: come in?
- 41:07Speaker 5: It? Maybe Barry he's weird, he's just different, but I would.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Call him into coming in.
- 41:12Speaker 2: I would be like I want you to teach my kids, well,
- 41:15Speaker 2: use your hips like Shaquiro when the hips don't lie.
- 41:18Speaker 1: But the hips do lie because you like stopping and starting.
- 41:21Speaker 5: But sometimes you can coach it.
- 41:24Speaker 2: That's well, yeah, but we've seen But we've seen all
- 41:26Speaker 2: these ex running backs, all these ex great running back
- 41:29Speaker 2: sons come into the league in their trash.
- 41:32Speaker 3: But have we've seen have we seen a lot of
- 41:34Speaker 3: x really great running backs that turn out to be
- 41:36Speaker 3: really great coaches.
- 41:39Speaker 1: DeMarco Murray was about the only one I could do.
- 41:41Speaker 5: I mean, he's he's he's I mean, I guess he's good.
- 41:45Speaker 5: I mean.
- 41:47Speaker 1: I would have never thought killing Moore was being fought over.
- 41:51Speaker 5: Uh, players like that are smart.
- 41:54Speaker 1: He's I would have never thought somebody would be fighting
- 41:57Speaker 1: over him.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Anybody's fighting. I think that he's got the Saints job
- 42:00Speaker 3: and there is no fight. It's probably one of the worst.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Cowboys saying Cowboys chargers.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Don't you think the Saints though, was probably the worst
- 42:10Speaker 3: opening besides the Cowboys.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I'm just saying that his where he's coached. Do you
- 42:16Speaker 2: imagine that in those places?
- 42:19Speaker 5: Yeah, but they haven't done that.
- 42:21Speaker 1: I got it.
- 42:22Speaker 5: I mean he is in the Super Bowl.
- 42:25Speaker 1: To the playoffs, went to the playoffs, Lee to.
- 42:27Speaker 3: The Cowboys, and I promise charged to I know, And
- 42:31Speaker 3: if it wasn't because that shitty, dumbass head and coach,
- 42:35Speaker 3: Yeah exactly.
- 42:37Speaker 2: So, yeah, I would have taken somebody like Walter Payton
- 42:43Speaker 2: as as a coach.
- 42:46Speaker 5: I haven't really kept up with anything else.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Well, you gotta understand, Walter Payton was one of those
- 42:49Speaker 2: guys that poor guy, poor kid were heavy and you
- 42:54Speaker 2: would have thought that his kids would have been raised
- 42:56Speaker 2: the same way, but they didn't, just like Barry Sanders
- 42:59Speaker 2: kids not. I saw that, oh you was getting a
- 43:02Speaker 2: legacy running by Adrian Peterson's son.
- 43:05Speaker 5: Well he's young still, still.
- 43:09Speaker 1: I saw that Adrian Peters.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Is Adrian Peterson teaching his son to you know, feaster famine?
- 43:15Speaker 1: But is he teaching him feaster famine? That's that's the thing.
- 43:18Speaker 1: A lot of these guys, probably because a lot of quarterbacks,
- 43:24Speaker 1: a lot of quarterback great quarterbacks, are not teaching their
- 43:26Speaker 1: kids feaster famine. You've got the Manning family, but that's different.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Always always son, nephew, whatever he was, he never made it.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I think he's more blood on the wife's side,
- 43:38Speaker 3: not God.
- 43:42Speaker 1: But you know, what I mean, Matt co.
- 43:45Speaker 5: I know that was always nephew, was it? Yeah, he's
- 43:48Speaker 5: in the uf L.
- 43:50Speaker 1: But you got but you've got to understand.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Stop stop letting them the money getting the way, you
- 43:58Speaker 2: know what I mean, Make the kids, make the kids
- 44:01Speaker 2: be hungry for it.
- 44:02Speaker 5: Be interesting to see how that works out with your sons.
- 44:05Speaker 1: You know what, your son is hungry for ham sandwiches? Yes,
- 44:10Speaker 1: what was John? Jim Kelly? I forgot about Jim Kelly's
- 44:15Speaker 1: nephews or something like that.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Oh, hold on, it might be Jim.
- 44:22Speaker 1: It's that way it's done. It says right there.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Oh no, it says hold on, I don't see anything
- 44:31Speaker 2: about it.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Maybe it's just you might be right.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Maybe let's let's try then Jim Kelly's son or nephew
- 44:38Speaker 2: go to Notre Dame.
- 44:45Speaker 5: Well then, hey, are you sick?
- 44:48Speaker 1: You gotta look up the right thing? Terrible at this?
- 44:53Speaker 1: Let's see.
- 44:55Speaker 5: Anything else on college?
- 44:57Speaker 1: No, no, no, I'm good. I just want to talk
- 44:58Speaker 1: about that real quick. His son n NFL Oh Jack
- 45:06Speaker 1: l Way and that looks.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Like a sorry, that looks like uh who is the
- 45:13Speaker 2: cop picture? Uh?
- 45:18Speaker 1: Let's see he's thirty.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Five years old and not playing he played for the
- 45:22Speaker 2: Sun Devils in eight.
- 45:25Speaker 1: All right, now, Jim Kelly nephew. Yeah, I thought, oh
- 45:33Speaker 1: here it is Jim Kelly Nephew. Oh miss, what is that? Yeah,
- 45:36Speaker 1: it'd be.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Chad Kelly different Oh miss quarterbacks. I'm still still still
- 45:46Speaker 5: last name.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I told you you're not looking at it that right?
- 45:52Speaker 1: All right? Uh? So softball started this week? Oh you women?
- 45:59Speaker 1: Uh grand Slam to get it and against that? Was
- 46:04Speaker 1: that a tournament or is it?
- 46:06Speaker 5: I don't know what the deal is on that one.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I didn't know what it was.
- 46:10Speaker 2: I know that it started. I know they were playing
- 46:12Speaker 2: San Diego State. Don't deb girl, you're gonna lose the whole.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Every time you dab.
- 46:19Speaker 2: We learned not to dab from Lebron James whatever the
- 46:23Speaker 2: picture was for the Cleveland Indians and uh football player,
- 46:28Speaker 2: Oh Cam Newton, you deb you lose three debs, three losses.
- 46:34Speaker 5: Look on the state. Yeah, they're in Puerto Rico.
- 46:37Speaker 3: They they beat Florida State, uh first game then losing
- 46:41Speaker 3: to take beat them six.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Yes, tournament.
- 46:45Speaker 3: She beat them six to one and they turned around
- 46:47Speaker 3: and won tonight against the Northern Colorado Bears. So you're
- 46:54Speaker 3: ready to wrap it up? We can wrap it up
- 46:55Speaker 3: before you split out anything else. You sure, Yeah, yeah,
- 46:59Speaker 3: I mean.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I thought we were talking. I thought we're gonna talk
- 47:03Speaker 1: about that stupid.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Uh, we're going to talk about the NBA trade where
- 47:07Speaker 2: uh Chicago Bulls got fleeced, the Jazz got semi fleeced,
- 47:11Speaker 2: the the Spurs made out like lions, and the Sacramento
- 47:17Speaker 2: Kings somehow they.
- 47:18Speaker 5: Did okay too though the best they did.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I thought I thought the Kings, even though
- 47:23Speaker 3: they give up Fox did Okay, we'll delve into a
- 47:25Speaker 3: little basketball if you want to split for a second.
- 47:28Speaker 5: If that's what she was gonna do.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yeah, right, so we can talk about I'll lead way
- 47:34Speaker 2: into Oklahoma State softball as you just bounce around on
- 47:39Speaker 2: that chair.
- 47:39Speaker 3: So, Uh, the Florida State lose to Louisiana Tech, and
- 47:43Speaker 3: I think they beat Northern Califorida. I think is that
- 47:46Speaker 3: what we got the Bears some bears. Maybe it was
- 47:49Speaker 3: just the cow Bears. So that puts them two and one.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Then Oklahoma, Uh, the the Oklahoma Sewers. Uh currently right
- 47:59Speaker 3: now they're playing full of ten. See if that has
- 48:03Speaker 3: see if that has went final for them? But Sean
- 48:08Speaker 3: had mentioned they needed a Grand Slam in the.
- 48:12Speaker 5: First game to win that one.
- 48:14Speaker 3: Give you a little bit cowstake florin my bad.
- 48:20Speaker 5: And this internet is killing me. Looks like ten to
- 48:25Speaker 5: three right there. Ten to three.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Tonight for the lady softballers.
- 48:35Speaker 5: So there you go.
- 48:36Speaker 3: So three and Oho to start the season, got the
- 48:38Speaker 3: youngsters playing. We had a pitcher yesterday the transfer forget
- 48:43Speaker 3: her name.
- 48:44Speaker 5: She came in, pitched.
- 48:46Speaker 3: A perfect game for her and they won that. So anyway,
- 48:51Speaker 3: softball has already started. So Oklahoma this year is obviously
- 48:57Speaker 3: going to be different because of all the seniors they
- 48:59Speaker 3: lost after the four peat. Did get some a lot
- 49:03Speaker 3: of rumor meal about Netflix doing a documentary on there
- 49:09Speaker 3: on the OU softball team. I don't know if they're
- 49:12Speaker 3: gonna how far they're going to follow them back from freshman.
- 49:14Speaker 3: I haven't got a lot of details. It's been pretty quiet,
- 49:16Speaker 3: but it sounds like that might be a possible documentary
- 49:20Speaker 3: that's that's being filmed or being worked on or putting together.
- 49:23Speaker 3: So but let's talk a little bit about the NBA
- 49:29Speaker 3: and I thought the you know, trade deadline always is
- 49:34Speaker 3: one of the most anticipated, one of the most anticipated
- 49:42Speaker 3: points of the year because you're not quite to the
- 49:44Speaker 3: All Star Game of the Hounds of Baskerville or here
- 49:51Speaker 3: at the the station is at our headquarters. So a
- 49:58Speaker 3: beginning to the NBA. Good get an NBA in the
- 50:01Speaker 3: trades and everybody loves it, you know, there was I
- 50:04Speaker 3: was reading Sean some tweets the other day.
- 50:05Speaker 5: It's like everybody enjoys the trade deadline more than they
- 50:09Speaker 5: do the first half of the season.
- 50:11Speaker 2: And some of that isn't The trade deadline is the
- 50:12Speaker 2: best part, especially with the stupidity that goes on.
- 50:15Speaker 1: And some of that.
- 50:17Speaker 5: And you watch, you know, you watch a lot of people.
- 50:21Speaker 3: So the big news obviously this year or this year
- 50:24Speaker 3: was Jimmy Butler.
- 50:26Speaker 5: That's been the everybody.
- 50:28Speaker 3: That's that's been, that's been won it out, he want
- 50:32Speaker 3: it out?
- 50:32Speaker 1: He went, that's been our reality TV.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Yes, because we don't watch real Hey mack a house,
- 50:38Speaker 2: we don't watch reality TV.
- 50:39Speaker 1: But Jimmy Butler drama is our reality TV. Can you
- 50:45Speaker 1: get closer to that and drink?
- 50:47Speaker 5: Sorry?
- 50:48Speaker 2: Uh, what happened in that time while everybody's watching the
- 50:55Speaker 2: Jimmy Butler drama?
- 50:58Speaker 1: It was what went down on uheron Aaron Fox going.
- 51:10Speaker 2: It was still but for how Sacramento conned Chicago and
- 51:17Speaker 2: the Jazz to get into that trade. Sacramento made out
- 51:24Speaker 2: like you know, thieves in the night. That's all I
- 51:28Speaker 2: got to say about that.
- 51:29Speaker 1: That was the dumbest trade.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Now, Chicago has spent years building superstars and getting rid
- 51:37Speaker 2: of them.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Jimmy Buckets was one of them. Damar Rosen, who they
- 51:43Speaker 1: just sent Zach Levine to go play with.
- 51:45Speaker 3: Uh yeah, Zach Lavine average player still but yeah, but still.
- 51:52Speaker 5: But I think the key when the Kings starts build
- 51:53Speaker 5: the team.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Build a team with him Rosen and you know, keep
- 51:58Speaker 2: getting guys.
- 51:59Speaker 1: That come in, but they let them ball down.
- 52:01Speaker 3: But you so you got a first round pick for
- 52:03Speaker 3: twenty twenty five years.
- 52:04Speaker 1: No, no Hornets, No, no, you know what we got. We got
- 52:06Speaker 1: our first round pick back Chicago Bulls.
- 52:09Speaker 5: I'm talking about the Kings.
- 52:10Speaker 3: Oh, they got the first round pick via the Hornets
- 52:12Speaker 3: through I don't know was that through the Spurs and
- 52:15Speaker 3: then the twenty twenty seven Spurs pick. Then they got
- 52:18Speaker 3: the twenty thirty one first round pick through the timber
- 52:22Speaker 3: was I don't know where that came from. And then
- 52:23Speaker 3: they got the Bulls picked the Nuggets second round hold on,
- 52:26Speaker 3: hold on another second round pick.
- 52:29Speaker 1: So yeah, they got a second round pick via the Bulls.
- 52:32Speaker 5: So yes, and then the Bulls got their first round back.
- 52:35Speaker 5: What was that for?
- 52:38Speaker 1: I remember it was I, you know what, we talked
- 52:40Speaker 1: about it when it happened.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Cuter probably we talked about it when it happened, because
- 52:48Speaker 2: I remember when that happened. And so we just got
- 52:51Speaker 2: our fucking pick back. I think Chicago. Chicago's burning down
- 52:56Speaker 2: right now. I'll say the one good thing that happened
- 52:58Speaker 2: that has happened in Chicago I go in recent months.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Stop was the firing. Now, it was the firing of
- 53:06Speaker 1: the Blackhawks coach. I will say every feliss and you
- 53:12Speaker 1: know the hiring that was the hiring of Ben Johnson.
- 53:15Speaker 5: We're going to say drafting Kayle Williams.
- 53:18Speaker 1: That is the second worst. Now that's actually first worst.
- 53:24Speaker 2: But the firing of the Blackhawks coach was phenomenal. And
- 53:30Speaker 2: now we need to get rid of Billy Donovan. And
- 53:32Speaker 2: there's a train coming to I don't think.
- 53:33Speaker 5: It's Billy Donovan. I think that I think ownership.
- 53:36Speaker 1: We are We've been a five hundred team.
- 53:39Speaker 5: And you guys still like what top five in attendance,
- 53:42Speaker 5: which is nuts.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Because everybody loves Chicano.
- 53:45Speaker 3: Because everybody thinks Michael Jordan's coming back out there eventually,
- 53:47Speaker 3: and everyone just goes as Oh, I needed.
- 53:50Speaker 1: To bring that up.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Did you see Michael Jordan Junior was busted for cocaine.
- 53:57Speaker 1: And and and allegedly drink driving.
- 54:01Speaker 5: Allegedly I could oh it was alleged. No, allegedly he
- 54:04Speaker 5: was in Aldos allegedly.
- 54:06Speaker 3: I could think of some people he might have gotten
- 54:08Speaker 3: that from, or maybe he got the genes from, but
- 54:10Speaker 3: that it could just be me.
- 54:12Speaker 1: But anyways, he was busted. He left his car his
- 54:16Speaker 1: uh Lamborghini is Lamborghini s u V.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Hey, everybody's on the track, probably about a twenty ten
- 54:23Speaker 3: Toyota cameray.
- 54:24Speaker 1: No one will pay attention.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Eighty five, which, by the way, which by the way,
- 54:29Speaker 2: I saw a eighty nine.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I want to say, hatchback here here in our.
- 54:36Speaker 5: A little longer, right right in in our area.
- 54:40Speaker 2: And it was hand painted, uh, Matt.
- 54:44Speaker 5: Black hand painted?
- 54:46Speaker 1: Was it? Oh? It was?
- 54:47Speaker 2: It was hand painted and the uh the tag was
- 54:53Speaker 2: was like randomly bolted onto the sun.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I mean it was just spray paint. It was great.
- 55:02Speaker 1: So you see that driving through clar We were.
- 55:05Speaker 5: Talking about it.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Anyways. Yeah, anyways, Jordan Jr.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Was just busted for leaving his car on the tracks
- 55:15Speaker 2: in Florida.
- 55:16Speaker 3: Obviously the big trade though Donkyk, Oh my god, and
- 55:21Speaker 3: I said, all we had to.
- 55:22Speaker 5: Talk about.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Was Doncyk going to l A and eighty two Yes,
- 55:29Speaker 3: back to Dallas.
- 55:31Speaker 5: And the kicker was is that also? I believe? But
- 55:34Speaker 5: what did I and then Lakers diould have to send
- 55:38Speaker 5: their first round?
- 55:39Speaker 2: No, no, no, but I sent you the article. Why
- 55:40Speaker 2: did they send Dounkyk? Why did they send Duncyk to
- 55:46Speaker 2: the man or.
- 55:47Speaker 1: To the to the Lakers?
- 55:48Speaker 5: Well, I think there were some issues as far as.
- 55:52Speaker 6: Health, conditioning, conditioning, white boy getting fat.
- 55:57Speaker 1: White Boy was on the on the Zion Williams.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean you take white boy getting fat,
- 56:03Speaker 3: I mean you say that, but uh, it's not it's
- 56:06Speaker 3: not gonna be one of those It's not gonna be
- 56:09Speaker 3: one of those things that is that anybody's ever gonna
- 56:13Speaker 3: sit there and go, well, wait a minute. Didn't he
- 56:16Speaker 3: just take us to the.
- 56:20Speaker 5: The championship game last year?
- 56:21Speaker 1: Did Yeah?
- 56:22Speaker 5: Yeah, So I mean it's it's it was kind of silly.
- 56:25Speaker 5: I think that's why.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Everybody is freaked out in Dallas about the about the
- 56:33Speaker 3: the trade. And I would be too. You're going from
- 56:36Speaker 3: twenty five years old to Anthony Davis thirty four close
- 56:41Speaker 3: to that, and uh and now what you're gonna have
- 56:46Speaker 3: to worry about is how extreme? Now does Luca want
- 56:51Speaker 3: to win a championship? Also, I think that Dallas knows.
- 56:54Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I think that.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Oh, it's all Lebron and Lucas I think and Donkan.
- 56:57Speaker 5: I think I think the Lakers know that it is
- 57:00Speaker 5: Lebron's out.
- 57:01Speaker 1: That's all it is, and all Lebron and Dunking.
- 57:04Speaker 5: Well, I think Lebron's out. I think they know that.
- 57:06Speaker 3: I think he's only got a couple more years and
- 57:09Speaker 3: and he's finished. So so they wanted to find their
- 57:12Speaker 3: next All Star and they only give up really a
- 57:14Speaker 3: first round pick, and what's nuts?
- 57:15Speaker 5: Okay, what's nuts?
- 57:16Speaker 1: Look what Paul George. I would have said that.
- 57:18Speaker 5: I would have said that, look what we got for
- 57:20Speaker 5: Paul George in the trade. Did you say, and like
- 57:23Speaker 5: two or three picks?
- 57:25Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant, who was he drafted by Hornets? Okay?
- 57:31Speaker 1: How long did he play for the Hornets, never step
- 57:34Speaker 1: foot with the Hornets exactly? Who did he play his
- 57:37Speaker 1: entire career with Lakers. I did not realize that.
- 57:41Speaker 2: I thought that he had spent a little bit of
- 57:44Speaker 2: time there before going. I did not realize that he
- 57:49Speaker 2: was fully with them for the twenty year career.
- 57:53Speaker 5: Yep.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I know.
- 57:55Speaker 5: I know that Jerry West made Jerry West made that.
- 57:57Speaker 2: But I know that Shack had You know, Shacket's started
- 58:00Speaker 2: on the magic and.
- 58:01Speaker 5: Went to because the trade, if you remember, the trade.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Looked well I saw it. Yeah, it looked really bad.
- 58:09Speaker 3: I think it wasn't what's his face?
- 58:13Speaker 1: Charlotte got ripped on it?
- 58:14Speaker 5: No, it looked good for Charlotte at the beginning. What
- 58:16Speaker 5: was his name? Vlad Vade was part of that.
- 58:19Speaker 1: Oh, Deva was a part of a lot. Latte was
- 58:23Speaker 1: a lot of a part of.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Hey, Eli Manning didn't get to go to the NFL
- 58:29Speaker 2: Hall of Fame.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Let's clap about that.
- 58:32Speaker 5: Does that surprise you? Yes?
- 58:36Speaker 2: I would say, yeah, but who ended up in that class?
- 58:41Speaker 2: Real quick, we're gonna run into this, uh, Frank Gore,
- 58:45Speaker 2: Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Jason Witten, Philip Rivers? Is that
- 58:53Speaker 2: is that it one, two, three, Yeah, maximum five.
- 58:57Speaker 1: So what do you say next year will being that's
- 59:01Speaker 1: our crystal ball? Are you talking about? Oh he's he's
- 59:04Speaker 1: touching on crystal ball? Oh gotcha. I mean if he
- 59:06Speaker 1: wanted in his room.
- 59:07Speaker 5: He came.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Ye, I was looking at it.
- 59:08Speaker 5: Didn't really say it said.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Six to July eleventh for Devac to agree to the deal,
- 59:15Speaker 3: paving them with for Brian to become a Laker.
- 59:17Speaker 5: And then seven days.
- 59:18Speaker 1: But you remember that left.
- 59:21Speaker 5: I didn't realize the same year they signed Shaquille.
- 59:23Speaker 2: But you remember that Vlade Diva left the Lakers to
- 59:26Speaker 2: go to Welps hair A Deva left the Lakers and
- 59:33Speaker 2: went to Sacramento.
- 59:34Speaker 5: No, he went to Charlotte.
- 59:36Speaker 1: No, but he Lakers. Oh no, he came from Sacramento
- 59:41Speaker 1: to the Lakers.
- 59:43Speaker 5: That's possible, that is possible.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I remember he played on the Kings. I remember devaugh
- 59:49Speaker 1: was the King. Hey there you go.
- 59:54Speaker 5: Yeah, so yeah, so he never played he never played
- 59:59Speaker 5: for them.
- 59:59Speaker 3: So but no, I thought that everybody is freaking out
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: about the you know, Dallas, It still to me looks
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: like a bad trade. And let and Dallas is really
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: looking for this year and next they got another big.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: They got another big, and I think that's the competition
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: between the one seed the thunder.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: You know, they needed a big to get on defense.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Right, and they were looking for that. And so, like
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: I said, it was the Spurs.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: You can talk sports.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: It was the Spurs that fleeced literally everybody out of that.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: But yeah, the Sacramento Kings got the better end after
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: Aaron Fox was was let go because they got more
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: out of it than the Spurs.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Are we talking about the trade? Which trade Aaron Fox
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: went to, Oh, I wouldn't talk about that trade. I
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: was talking about the well, the Donks talking to the donkey.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, but the donkey even I'm just saying about.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: All the trades. You gotta look at all.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: I'm what I'm saying that what the are doing not
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: for this year, Dallas is doing for this year. You know.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: So we were looking at.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Blat of Devold de vac Uh.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Lakers eighty nine ninety six, then went to the Hornet,
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: then the Kings, then in Servannah.
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: I didn't realize he.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Went to the Kings and then back to the Lake correction. Correct.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: I just remember that he had was a general manager.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: I think of the Kings and was horrible.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: He was uh general manager player personal, wasn't he?
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: He was the head guy?
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: When do we run through this? Uh? I swear that
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: he sw Yeah.
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: What do you got about Chester eagless? Big big score,
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: little score, big big big.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Lakers scout No five? Keep going? I think I think
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: names Sacramento front office.
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: Well what do you think if you win?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: Say what now?
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I changed my mind about the Eagles with Eagles now
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: twenty fifteen.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: G u yeah, gim that's what I thought. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: and then it was pretty bad after that.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so you're taking Eagles, baba?
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: Is that you No?
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: No, he's up there. So you're taking the Eagles? What
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: are you taking points for the Eagles? Give us a
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: score case and what do you go for? Points? How
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: many points?
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Two?
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Points?

- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Yeah? What total points? Total points between the adam together?

- 1:03:18Speaker 5: Five for the Chiefs, okay, and four that turned out,
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: He said, thirty four.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I wanted I'm trying to help him. I'm trying to

- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Daron Fox or Tree Hunter from the Hawks. Yes, I
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: thought that was I thought that was the best pick
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: up for a team that's really damn good and just.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I didn't even see that. I did not even see
