- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fiorazo.
- 0:19Hey friends, time is short and we've got a lot to talk about.
- 0:22So I'm getting right to our guest today, Dr. Andy Woods, senior pastor of Sugarland Bible
- 0:27Church and president of Chaffer Theological Seminary, Andy Woods Ministries.org.
- 0:33And on YouTube, you've got to follow them so you can get the pastor's point of view videos.
- 0:39The YouTube is Andy Woods Bible Study, so look up Andy Woods Ministries on YouTube.
- 0:44Brother, thank you so much for your time today.
- 0:46There's a lot going on.
- 0:47Where do you want to start?
- 0:50Well, why don't we start with Israel?
- 0:54Okay, sounds good.
- 0:56Oh, actually, I jumped the gun before we do that.
- 0:59We got to mention you, before we got on the air, you mentioned you've got a new book
- 1:01coming out and I want to make sure people are aware of that because it sounds like it's
- 1:05going to be available in less than a few weeks, about a few weeks.
- 1:08That's amazing.
- 1:09Yeah, it should be available within a week or two.
- 1:13I mean, we're really working hard to get it out, you know, prior to the election, but it's
- 1:20not a book on contemporary political figures.
- 1:24It's a book on the Bible.
- 1:26It's called the Bible Envoting.
- 1:28And so it just takes you to a range of issues that you deal with in any election.
- 1:36I've got it divided up into economic issues, social issues, foreign policy issues, and then
- 1:43freedom type, limited government issues, and it just tells you what God's word says, you
- 1:48know, about all these issues that we're dealing with today.
- 1:52And so it's really the heart of it is to equip the church for the ballot box and to teach
- 1:57people how to vote not from so for some other reason, you know, party loyalty or something
- 2:03like that, but based on what God says and his eternal word.
- 2:07So a lot of people don't think a lot of those issues are mentioned in the Bible, but there's
- 2:11so much.
- 2:12It covers everything.
- 2:13And we're just so ignorant to what the Bible teaches on issues that we vote about.
- 2:19So thank you.
- 2:20What is the title again?
- 2:21So people can keep an eye out for it.
- 2:22I believe it's just called the Bible Envoting.
- 2:25Okay.
- 2:26The Bible Envoting.
- 2:27Great.
- 2:28Thank you.
- 2:29And we will be available at Andy Woods Ministries and Amazon.
- 2:30Yeah.
- 2:31It should be available on all those, certainly my platform, but all the other ones too, you
- 2:36know, once we get through this final read through.
- 2:38Awesome.
- 2:39Well, congrats.
- 2:40I know the birthing process as an author and publishing a new book is always tedious and
- 2:46so way to go, brother, way to fight through it and get through it.
- 2:50So you mentioned Israel.
- 2:51So I want to go to a Breitbart article that you sent me.
- 2:55I didn't realize it was on October 7 of this year that Kamala Harris said, I will always
- 3:02fight for the Palestinian people.
- 3:05So my thought is, well, Andy Woods, she's open about it.
- 3:10We know exactly where they stand.
- 3:13Go ahead and share more about that.
- 3:16Yeah, that's actually one of the subjects in the book that we were just talking about.
- 3:20I have a section there called the Palestinian deception.
- 3:24I mean, the Palestinians are basically a fake, fake people and there's no Palestinian currency
- 3:33archeology.
- 3:34We have no knowledge of who their leaders and rulers were, you know, just compare that
- 3:38to nearby Egypt and all of the archeology and everything else, coinage, documenting
- 3:45that people group, there's none for the Palestinians.
- 3:47So it's basically it made up people group designed to get Israel to acquiesce Judea and
- 3:55Samaria, the so-called West Bank, to the Palestinians so they can do with it what they did
- 4:01with Gaza, you know, turn it into a beachhead for terrorist activity.
- 4:08And, you know, here's Kamala Harris, remember that the attacks on October 7th of last
- 4:15year came from Gaza.
- 4:17I mean, if the two-state solution didn't work well with Gaza, what you think it's going
- 4:22to work with, that big chunk of land there in the heart of Israel, you know, Judea
- 4:27and Samaria or the West Bank is it's flippantly called, but that's what the world community
- 4:32is demanding.
- 4:35And so here's Kamala Harris on the anniversary of the equivalent of their 9-11, I mean,
- 4:41what happened to them on October 7th was per capita, you know, just like our 9-11.
- 4:47Yeah.
- 4:48And a very special memorial time and what does she say, she's fighting for the Palestinians.
- 4:55Wow.
- 4:56I mean, they give a few, you know, words to support Israel, but then they quickly shift
- 5:01gears and talk about how they're fighting for the Palestinian.
- 5:05And so, you know, God says, I'll bless those who bless you and I'll curse those who curse
- 5:10you concerning Israel.
- 5:12So if people want our country cursed and want to put us on the wrong side of the ledger,
- 5:18concerning our relationship to Israel, then the easiest way to do that is to elect, you
- 5:23know, Kamala Harris in the next November 5th election.
- 5:27Yeah.
- 5:28And we know them by their fruit.
- 5:29I mean, if you go back to the Obama administration, we know where Obama stands, where Biden stands,
- 5:34where Harris stands, I'm glad.
- 5:36I mean, in a way, it's sad that at least maybe 25 years ago, the left when they talked,
- 5:41they would kind of use a word salad, they would not really get into detail or say something
- 5:46so blatantly or outwardly, but now it doesn't matter on every issue, whether that's abortion
- 5:51or Israel or the open borders or transgenderism or pro-Hamas.
- 5:57But anyway, what you said, Andy Currancy, archaeology and leaders when it comes to Palestine
- 6:03or the Palestinian people, I don't think that message got through the college campuses
- 6:09as far as understanding where they came from or the territory over there, right?
- 6:14And how do you remedy something that's so far gone when people believe these talking
- 6:19points and how do you remedy something like that?
- 6:24Well, if you repeat a lie long enough, people believe it's true.
- 6:27And that whole Palestinian mindset, it comes from Yasser Erfat, getting schooling from the then
- 6:35the Soviets on the art of propaganda, because after seeing them get the Arabs, they're getting
- 6:42their tails kicked literally. In 1948, 1967 and 1973, they finally figured out we can't beat
- 6:50these people militarily. So we've got to win the war of public opinion and to make it look like
- 6:57Israel stole a bunch of land from people. Of course, they did not. You know, Mark Twain was over there
- 7:03in 1867, wrote about it two years later in his book, Innocence Abroad 1869. There was no thriving
- 7:12civilization there when Mark Twain was there. And yet all you have to do is repeat a lie long enough
- 7:17and make it sound like Israel stole the land from the so-called Palestinians, a completely made-up
- 7:23people group. And you can pressure Israel from the world community to acquiescing, you know,
- 7:30Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria back to the so-called Palestinians, which will take Israel's width,
- 7:36by the way, and reduce it to less than 10 miles, putting Israel in a militarily defenseless position.
- 7:44And that's the, you know, we can't beat them militarily. So my goodness, let's wage the propaganda
- 7:50war. So that's where this whole Palestinian deception comes from. Yeah. And they've been successful.
- 7:56And by the way, the propaganda war against the US in our own country has been successful,
- 8:02pushing Marxism and communism. And by the way, let's jump to this article now over at daily
- 8:08wire that you had covered in your pastor's point of view. John Kerry said, if Democrats win,
- 8:16we can change first amendment. Why? Well, they want to fight disinformation. Andy, break that
- 8:23down for us. Because to me, it seems like, again, they're saying what used to be the quiet part
- 8:28out loud. Yeah. Well, he gave that speech at the World Economic Forum or that conversation,
- 8:36I should say, happened at the World Economic Forum. So when these guys travel outside of our
- 8:41borders and get on foreign soil, I mean, to me, they're always giving their true, you know,
- 8:48agenda. Yeah. I mean, Obama, when he was on foreign soil, if I remember right, said we are no
- 8:54longer or never wore something like that, a Christian nation. That's right. And so, you know,
- 9:00you really get the heart of these folks when they go abroad. And so here's John Kerry saying,
- 9:05you know, we've got to win the next election because he talks there about, you know, garnering
- 9:11popular support. And then he says, once we do that, we can get rid of that pesky first amendment,
- 9:16essentially what he's saying. And once we get rid of that, then we can fight disinformation.
- 9:23People need to know what he means by disinformation. Anytime you see the word disinformation,
- 9:28misinformation, just scribble it out and write in the word censorship. Yeah. Because what they mean
- 9:34by it is they want to censor anything outside of the public domain that goes against their narrative.
- 9:42That's right. The White House press secretary, KJP, I guess her abbreviation, she just did that
- 9:54to Ducey of Fox News. Yeah. She looked at him and said, the premise of your whole question is
- 9:59misinformation. And he kind of looked at her stunned, like what are you talking about?
- 10:04Basically, what she's saying is I'm just taking everything you said and I just censored it
- 10:08under the rubric of misinformation. And this is what these guys all want to do with social media.
- 10:14You know, Elon Musk, you know, people like ourselves that broadcast stuff regularly.
- 10:20And it's kind of disheartening to hear prophecy ministries arguing that we shouldn't vote.
- 10:25I've heard a number, I've heard a number of big prophecy teachers say, you know, we shouldn't vote
- 10:32because, you know, we're the lesser of two evils as evil. And you know, all this kind of logic,
- 10:38they don't understand that their ministry is the first thing that's going to get chopped.
- 10:42That's right. You know, if the John Kerry's get their way. So, you know, we can't have this 40
- 10:47million Christians, you know, no longer voting mentality. I mean, we gotta, we gotta put our big
- 10:53boy pants on. We gotta grow up and we gotta save this republic.
- 10:58Well, you understand just like I do from Barnard Research Gallup Pew, when you say 40 million
- 11:03Christians, how many millions do we have to put in air quotes? Andy Woods, Christians,
- 11:09professing Christians, people that maybe go to church, maybe, but don't have a biblical worldview,
- 11:14maybe they don't live like Christians Monday through Saturday, whatever. So yeah, there's a mixed
- 11:19bag there. But since we're on, since we're talking about communist policy, let's go over to the
- 11:25first Liberty.org and look at this article where the New York Times says the Constitution is
- 11:32dangerous. So John Kerry doesn't like the First Amendment. Neither do a lot of Democrats, I guess.
- 11:36But the New York Times now, now this is not surprising. But they flat out say what you, you
- 11:43covered this again in your PPOV that go ahead, Andy, just just share about this.
- 11:48Some people maybe haven't heard that news outlets, they think they support the Constitution.
- 11:54I think we better wake up quickly. Go ahead.
- 11:57Yeah, well, I know a friend of yours that you had on recently, Bill Federer,
- 12:02he has a great illustration that he uses. If you're trying to talk people out of a certain kind of
- 12:06toothpaste, to sell them that you're brand, you've got to trash their current brand. And look,
- 12:14your toothpaste doesn't have enough fluoride, it doesn't do this, doesn't, doesn't do that.
- 12:18And once you trash it, then you could bring in your brand. So the truth of the matter is,
- 12:22these people are bringing a new brand. They call themselves progressives, but what are we
- 12:28progressing towards? I never tell you that. Well, they want to progress us towards maximum
- 12:35government, which is you mentioned it, socialism, Marxism, ultimately one worldism.
- 12:42And the United States Constitution is in the way because it stands for limited government.
- 12:46There's only 20 things, enumerated powers, according to the Constitution. The feds are supposed
- 12:52to be involved in. And if you were to go home, David and read the Constitution with its 10
- 12:58amendments, it would take you 11 pages to read it. Compare that to Obamacare, which was what,
- 13:043,000 pages long. So that's why they're always trashing the Constitution because they got to get
- 13:10rid of it to bring in maximum government because the Constitution stands for limited government.
- 13:15And so that's why these people write these things in the New York Times saying the Constitution
- 13:21is dangerous. The Constitution is not dangerous. It's given more people, more political and economic
- 13:28freedom than any document in the history of the world. What's dangerous is what these people want
- 13:33to progress towards. That's a true danger. Yeah. And to quote the article, this was Jennifer
- 13:39Cesali of the New York Times. She wrote claiming one of the quoting, one of the biggest threats to
- 13:46America's politics might be the country's founding documents. So we know what the left is media
- 13:52believes about our founding. And anyway, we've got to move on. And I think we're already up against
- 13:59a break. Dr. Andrew Woods, when I come back, I want to ask you about your recent talk that you gave
- 14:06on biblical citizenship at the Tacoma Grace Fall Conference. You talked about nationalism.
- 14:12And there's some points that I think people would really be encouraged by hearing or learning,
- 14:17relearning maybe. Well, right back with Andy Woods and World View Matters. Introducing Patriot

- 15:00that channel network. If you are already on there, please look up Freedom Project. Also,
- 15:06you can download the free Freedom Project Media app on your iPhone. Please do that. We appreciate
- 15:10you guys so very much. And you're sharing this podcast. That's how we're getting out there.
- 15:16Because there is a degree of censorship shadow banning suppression. And that's what we've been
- 15:22talking about. But back to Andy Woods, brother, you just recently spoke in Tacoma. And the topic
- 15:28of nationalism, I find a lot of people understand it differently than maybe a hundred years ago,
- 15:34or maybe what our founders thought, or maybe what the Bible teaches about nationalism. Go ahead
- 15:39and give us a few points on what you talked about. Well, your best education on nationalism is
- 15:45just to read the Tower Babel account in Genesis 10, Genesis 11. I mean, God, they were trying to
- 15:54build a world government at the Tower Babel on the plains of Shainar under a man named Nimrod,
- 16:01whose name actually in Hebrew means revolt. And God said, if they get their way here,
- 16:06nothing will be impossible for them in terms of their potential for evil. I mean, if there's only
- 16:13one government on the face of the earth, and it falls into the wrong hands, think of the tyranny,
- 16:18that could be accomplished. So God made a decision in what we call the divine institutions.
- 16:26Genesis 1 through 11 reveals, by my count, about four or five divine institutions that the
- 16:34creator has built into the fabric of fallen creation to allow fallen creation to be perpetuated
- 16:42in spite of its fallenness. And the last of the divine institutions is the institution of nationalism
- 16:49where God does not want our world, unless Jesus is running the show in the millennial kingdom.
- 16:54He does want our world governed by a world government. So he created nations which kind of
- 17:00limit the spread of evil because they kind of function as a check and balance system.
- 17:05And then you ask yourself, well, what do you have to have for a nation or you have to have four
- 17:09things? You've got to have enforceable borders, a common culture, a common language, and a common
- 17:16currency. And each of those four are under great assault today, including the first one I mentioned,
- 17:23borders. If you can't control who enters your country, you're not a country.
- 17:30You know, any more than I can be ahead of my home if people can come into my house undeaded.
- 17:36You know, if you're going to force anybody into my house, you know, don't call me a homeowner.
- 17:41You know, don't call me the disciple of my home. Don't call me the head of the house. So
- 17:46countries function that way too. So the truth of the matter is God invented countries and God
- 17:53invented the concept of borders. And that's where nationalism comes from. You can see Paul making
- 17:59reference to borders at Mars Hill and in his speech in Acts 17 verse 26. That's right.
- 18:06You'll see references to it in Deuteronomy 32 verse 8. And all this is important because the
- 18:13social justice movement is trying to make it sound like the Christian thing is to have open borders.
- 18:18And in that talk, I was trying to say nothing could be further from the truth. God invented
- 18:22borders and you shouldn't you shouldn't be made to feel like you somehow don't love people or
- 18:28something, you know, if unless you're in favor of George Soros open borders. So that's interesting.
- 18:34You bring that up. I'm glad you did. And by the way, people can get that on your Facebook page,
- 18:40Andy Woods Ministries or your personal Andy Woods Facebook page. You posted the message.
- 18:46I was going to talk about this article. We'll come back to this where Hillary Clinton says social
- 18:50media companies need to moderate content or we lose total control. Who's in control? But what
- 18:56you just brought up, let's go to the Western Journal Biden Harris administration. They're turning
- 19:03migrants into voting US citizens at fastest speed in years as the election draws closer. My first
- 19:12question, I think most people would ask to Andy Woods is how is this possible when they're first
- 19:18coming across the border? They haven't gone through the legal process to become citizens.
- 19:22How are they able to vote? Explain this for us.
- 19:27Well, I mean, they're doing what this administration has done from day one. I mean, you reverse
- 19:32every common sense Trump era policy about borders. And you try, you know, you just play games with
- 19:40the system where you fast track people as fast as you can into voting citizens, I guess.
- 19:48And you're dealing with, and of course, the statistics are reflected in that article,
- 19:54you know, the vast majority of them are going to vote for Kamala Harris, you know, surprise,
- 19:59surprise. You know, all this talk about compassion, it's really about power.
- 20:04It reminds me of remember Judas when he got upset because one of the sisters there
- 20:13took expensive alabaster oil and poured it on Jesus. And he said, I think it's in John 12,
- 20:21around verses three through six, this should have been given to the poor, you know, sold and given
- 20:25to the poor. And then there's a little parenthetical insert in there. He didn't care about the poor.
- 20:31He had control of the money bag and he used to embezzle what was in the money bag.
- 20:36So every time you hear some open borders acolyte talking about compassion for people, it has
- 20:42nothing to do with compassion for people. It has to do with increasing the voting power of the
- 20:48democratic party, which by the way has completely alienated the middle class. It's gone so far
- 20:54to the left. So they have to have a new class of voters to be sustained. And that's why they're
- 21:00pushing open borders. It's all about more votes. Yeah, sad. And there's so much more we could
- 21:06talk about because there's articles on the numbers of who's coming over the criminals and how many
- 21:13it's staggering. But we've got to move on. I did want to touch on this article because we talked
- 21:18about what Kamala Harris said. We talked about what John Kerry said. Let's talk about what Hillary
- 21:23Clinton said. And she's talking really about censoring those that disagree with the leftist
- 21:30agenda or the democratic party. Isn't she? Andy Wood tell us about that one. Yeah, well she says
- 21:35in there and it's about an 18 second clip that's embedded in that article. She said it on CNN.
- 21:43She said we got to basically control the social media platforms or we lose control.
- 21:49And what she's saying there is we can't have tyranny that we want as long as there's
- 21:57free and independent expression of ideas. I mean, any tyranny has to control the flow of
- 22:03information where people can only see things or learn things that harmonize with the narrative
- 22:11that the tyrant is advancing at that time. And we can't have global tyranny with X, for example,
- 22:19being a free speech platform. So we've got to rein that in. So whether it's Kerry or Clinton,
- 22:25I mean, they're basically calling openly. They're not even disguising it anymore as you said
- 22:30earlier. They're calling for the eradication of free speech. That's why as you study this abroad,
- 22:37they're taking folks that were the founders of these free speech platforms and they're arresting
- 22:43them. Why? Because the the owner or the entrepreneur is not controlling. There's people using that
- 22:53platform to advance narratives that go against whatever that go against the narrative that the
- 22:59government is promoting. And so it's like saying, you know, let's take the founder and entrepreneur
- 23:07of or the CEO, let's say of AT&T. And let's arrest him because the phone line was used by the mob
- 23:16for criminal purposes. You know, I mean, the owner's not using it for criminal purposes. He just
- 23:22created a platform that someone used for criminal purposes. So they want to take the owner of
- 23:27telegram and all of these different things. And they're actually, you know, arresting them.
- 23:32You know, I mean, you know, criminal prosecution. And so, you know,
- 23:38what they're doing is they're bringing in global, you know, control of ideas. And if they win
- 23:45this election, they're going to they're going to do it here. You said that's in Europe, right?
- 23:49I think this happened in France. Okay, France. Brazil shut off Elon Musk's Twitter.
- 23:59And I can't it's been a little while since I reported on these, but it was the creator of either
- 24:05telegram or one of them. Okay. That was that was actually, you know, put on arrest. And another one
- 24:11of these tech guys, you know, got out of the country when he saw what they were doing to one of
- 24:16his colleagues. And so, I mean, what you're seeing is an illegalization of free speech around
- 24:24the world is basically what you said. That's right. Well, Andy, we've got three minutes left. And
- 24:28just to clarify the section 230 of the Communications Act is what she wants to repeal, which it doesn't
- 24:36sound like it protects online platforms from being held libel for third party content. Like user
- 24:42content on social media, we're all on social media, most of us, right? Trying to get our, you
- 24:47know, people informed Christians encouraged. And so the section 230 of the Communications Act,
- 24:54that's what she's coming against. That's what they want to repeal. That's what the article is all
- 24:59about, right? Yeah. And you know, that section 230, it it gives free speech. It's kind of like when
- 25:07Reagan repealed the fairness doctrine. I don't remember that in the late 1980s. Oh my goodness.
- 25:14That's right. Well, that that created the Rush Limbaugh's and the Sean Hannities and the
- 25:19Mark Levin's and all of those guys. I mean, it had Reagan not done that. We wouldn't have what,
- 25:25you know, Michael Savage, whoever, whoever people listen to Dan Bongino, a Charlie Kirk, you know,
- 25:30we wouldn't have conservative talk radio. You can think Reagan for getting rid of the fairness
- 25:35doctrine. And it's the same thing with this 230. As long as it's in place, you know, it creates
- 25:42free speech. And of course, they want to get rid of it because anything that allows people to
- 25:47speak the truth, you know, is an enemy to the the the tyrannical narrative that they want people to have.
- 25:56By the way, did you see the Reagan movie yet?
- 25:59I loved it. I did too. I thought it was well done. Absolutely. I hit me at the intellectual level,
- 26:05the emotional level and the spiritual level. It brought up the Bible and the role that God,
- 26:11you know, had in Reagan's life. And I don't know if it's still playing, but everybody should go see
- 26:16it or get the DVD or however you do it today, get the video, watch it. It's a great no profanity
- 26:23that I remember. Great family viewing that actor. What's the actor's name? I forgot his name.
- 26:29Kevin. No, is it Kevin?
- 26:33That is quite, quite. He was, he was just wonderful. Yeah. I was impressed. Yeah. We're very
- 26:40well done friends. And Michael Reagan, Reagan's adopted son watched it and actually assisted,
