  [SPEAKER_00]: three concrete reasons to buy the buckiniers as legit Super Bowl contenders Caleb you wrote this one earlier this week great piece from you and it's been kind of a talking point as we had into you know training camp in the season because there are some things that you really do like

  [SPEAKER_00]: that you improved on during the off season from last year, but I'll go through your three river or even I may be jumping and can add in some other ones as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Caleb here's what you had.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Number one, consistent offensive output under Zach Robinson.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think you're pointing out a little bit too from last year, at least from my perspective.

  [SPEAKER_00]: things with resort and it goes so well, things got very inconsistent in that middle half heading into the latter half of the season, but Zach Robinson experienced guy, knows how to do things with his running backs as well and has a whole ton of damn talent at wider silver.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, I got to say in running back, he's got two studs in the back field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, though, Caleb, you had past rush breaks through with force.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We all know.

  [SPEAKER_00]: what happened this offseason grabbing ribbon bane in that first round, but it wasn't just that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They were already making moves prior and they're continuing to make sure they reload and improve that past rush, but they certainly did that with the handful of additions.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then I think this is a strong one here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We've been talking about it, but the health along the offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That offensive line was so dinged up last year all across the board.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Tristan worse didn't even start the season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and the interior of the line, Cody Mowk being gone for the early part of the season and for the rest it was just a beat up line and it's certainly a fact of Baker's play.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Caleb, I'll give you the floor here but I think these are some three strong points to where you could point to hate that the bucks can't be suitable for contenders in 2022.

  [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm pretty self explanatory and you can kind of get like dig into the weeds a little bit more into each one of those if you want to.

  [SPEAKER_02]: I mean if you look at the consistency of the offense last year, yeah Josh Grasark is kind of at the center of that being a first year, first time play caller.

  [SPEAKER_02]: You've got, you know, Baker may feel doing with his injuries.

  [SPEAKER_02]: His great play to start the year getting the MVP stuff and then sliding down in the bottom half of the year as well.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, the offensive line injuries played a part into that.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Your lack of having guys on the field, Chris Godwin, Miss and Time throughout the year, Mike Evans, Miss and Time throughout the year, really relying on a rookie white receiver to kind of come through for you, relying on another rookie white receiver to make some big place for you, as well as test Johnson.

  [SPEAKER_02]: So everything kind of just collapsed on the buck and years.

  [SPEAKER_02]: So ultimately encapsulating that all is going into consistency, and with Zach Robinson, you're getting a proven play caller right.

  [SPEAKER_02]: A guy who's been able to show that he can do it at the highest level.

  [SPEAKER_02]: And it's done it before and has been able to utilize weapons that are given to him and been able to do a lot more with it.

  [SPEAKER_02]: And now that he's with Tampa, he's going to have a, you know, a more, he robust group of talent there from running back.

  [SPEAKER_02]: I know he had the John, but you know, it was kind of the Tyler out here as well.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Um, but outside of really Drake London, he didn't really have much to work with outside.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Um, there are, with the wide receiver group.

  [SPEAKER_02]: So he's going to have a lot more weapons here in Tampa.

  [SPEAKER_02]: He's going to have that consistency.

  [SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be a very easy way to understand it.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Baker may feel it's probably going to really like what he does.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Very similar to the Liam Cohen situation that we had in 2024.

  [SPEAKER_02]: I could have probably put it at number one is beefing up that deep into line.

  [SPEAKER_02]: And that past rush does not just only encapsulate the guys coming off the edge of the outside line

  [SPEAKER_02]: Anthony Nelson, David Walker coming back into the fold as well.

  [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't just encapsulate those guys.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, the attention is going to be on that because the bucks weren't able to get the sacks from the most positions over the past few years or so, but it really is going to start at the middle two.

  [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to get a collage.

  [SPEAKER_02]: You can't see fully healthy back next to beat a bayet.

  [SPEAKER_02]: You got a little bit bigger there with the Montague K-part that you drafted, A-Shon Ramson, that mean physical street there with him as well.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Lies are Roberts to returning after a pretty solid rookie season when he was thrust

  [SPEAKER_02]: So really like what they did up front.

  [SPEAKER_02]: I think that's rare everything starts right We're gonna stick in the trenches and that's gonna be the health of the offense of wine, too So that's really where it comes down to can you be healthy games or wine in the trenches the book and years are understanding that Now all of a sudden it's great Ben better spread us in in and out of the lineup last year.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Cody Malkley obviously no missed the entire season with his knee injury.

  [SPEAKER_02]: The only person who played every single game for the 10 main bucketers was Graham Barton and that's your center and he had it strong.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes I left tackle, right, and being thrust into positions that he has been played in quite some time since he even entered the NFL.

  [SPEAKER_02]: So having all these guys back continuity wise is going to be huge.

  [SPEAKER_02]: And being able to rely on the guy next to you has been something, you know, being able to have that communication is huge Along that offensive line too in the trenches.

  [SPEAKER_02]: So those are my three big reasons, but I'll let you guys kind of touch on those a little bit more and maybe even add on to it.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think the thing that you mentioned that six out to be the most Caleb is trenches, right?

  [SPEAKER_01]: trenches is how you win Super Bowl if you want to win championships and you want to win divisions and you want to win games and the NFL at all comes down to the front seven on defense and that offensive line on offense that that's where the money's made and like you mentioned really hurt offensive line last year wasn't able to ever quite Joe correctly, especially with guards missing quite frequently on the either side of Grand Barton and

  [SPEAKER_01]: Graham Barton had a bit of a up and down year, but I think he didn't have a lot to work with given that he had two backups, constantly to either side of him.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So if Cody and Matt can stay healthy, right, we talked about that.

  [SPEAKER_01]: If Ben Brightison could stay in there, we talked about that, then that'll only help Graham Barton.

  [SPEAKER_01]: It'll help that guy right there.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Baker had a lot of injuries to himself to his wider severs and do his offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_01]: We kind of attribute his drop and play the second half of the year to all the things, but he's also going out there and play his best football, and there's still things he can do to be better at that.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But one of the biggest things that will affect him is all these injuries and if everyone can say healthy.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Then he should be able to have a much, much, much better campaign consistently across the board that's upcoming season and And it definitely all starts in the trenches in the deep at the side of the ball like you mentioned guys looking on day k-parter in there now really big collage of cancel collage of cancel can play more than a few games That'll be a big past rushing option for you at the middle, especially the guy that we've been bane who really bane might not get a lot of sacks

  [SPEAKER_01]: in twenty twenty six, but he will put a ton of pressure on the side and if he can do that, then people like Bita Vega and a Elijah Kings are going to love Ruben, right?

  [SPEAKER_01]: They're going to love how much pressure they can generate off the back of his pressures, and then the idea, obviously, I don't know how about so that bucks front seven defensively is the biggest, I think, question kind of like, can they perform and that they can and the offensive line can say healthy?

  [SPEAKER_01]: No reason why they can't win quite a few games in twenty six.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the biggest thing for me, the number one would be on this list is your pressure that you're going to have to bring.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's been much needed for a couple of years, if we're being honest with you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They made their decision to move on there and whatnot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But they were just relying on Yaya Diabe, and then they go and, you know, find a risky player like a son, Redic, who has shown strides earlier in his career that he can be

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was going to have to deliver and kind of erase some of those concerns.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And those concerns were certainly not erased and he got injured.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that certainly he got dinged up and that hurt them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And they had to rely on some of their 3D.

  [SPEAKER_00]: guys are too deep and then getting Anthony Nelson out there who we all like on here but he's not a starting caliber, a drusher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's someone that you want to come in if you know you want to have some breeders to a Rubin Bane or yeah yeah or you know some of these other guys that we'll see like Muhammad and really excited for David Walker as well but this is this is where you are a Superbowl container.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Good defensive line and offensive line and the bucks were able to put in a lot of resources to do so this offseason So I think those are some strong points there and then I think that's the Zach Robinson thing You're gonna see a big flip there from what we saw last year with from regards art.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has said it that he likes being coached hard and that edition of channel Whitmer was at Robinson I think was huge to help them become you know potential you know cerebral contender so

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, two second year guys that you're going to be relying heavily on and you know, Benjamin Morrison got dinged up a little bit and some of these OTAs and mini cam.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's always been a concern with him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But depth wise, it's probably the biggest concern outside of those three because you just don't have a whole ton there, River.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's kind of what I'm, you know, sound of the alarm on because Morrison, McCollum, and, of course, Jacob Parish moving over from Nickel to that outside spot.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But right now, Benjamin Morrison's the only leg injury.

  [SPEAKER_01]: They've just got some defensive backs that are down for the count and I think getting a veteran corner back at this point in time Could help the room and she's get a guy who's not a special team's guy who's a corner back, right chase Lucas Coming all kind of more of a special team sort of thing, but You get those guys in depth.

  [SPEAKER_01]: You know, you want to evaluate Ted Hearst against a veteran, maybe not against some guys like Josh Hayes or like I'm Garns, who's a UDFA, right?

  [SPEAKER_01]: He may be if Benjamin Morrison's on out there, you want to kind of know how how you got to get some certain coverage is going against the offense, how you can kind of move pieces around and to do that, you need help you got as in right now, I don't have how the guys so

  [SPEAKER_01]: I think going into training camp, depending on how the first few days ago, maybe Benjamin Morrison is back, that would help tremendously.

  [SPEAKER_02]: that that we can put out less no any pieces and now pieces what do you want to see world it's the off season we're looking to serve you guys let us know Caleb yeah definitely um but i think we all would agree that that's the one area that the buck and years needs some more help right like it's not just right now or heading into training camp getting good looks which is obviously a huge aspect of everything of the board but even going into the season dude like if you're looking at
