- 0:09Speaker 1: VI Shooter's time.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hello, Hello, welcome to the Naught even Shab your host
- 0:16Speaker 2: from Shooter and it is Monday, which means our dear
- 0:18Speaker 2: friend Garrett Vogel joins us.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Hey, Garrett, either I love being able to kick off
- 0:24Speaker 3: the week with you and all the naughtis. Do you
- 0:28Speaker 3: think do you think they go around and they have
- 0:30Speaker 3: like a secret code, like I'm a.
- 0:31Speaker 2: NAUGHTI I hope, so, I hope, so wish to have
- 0:34Speaker 2: badges made. I'm a naughty. Hey, naughties, how are you doing? Listen?
- 0:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna say thank you, and numbers are doing really well.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Something happened and I think it's you. You're telling your friends,
- 0:44Speaker 2: you're sharing this podcast and we're expanding, and I couldn't
- 0:48Speaker 2: be more grateful. So thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Well, not to blow some hot air up, you know
- 0:54Speaker 3: you're killed to rop, but but let's let's be honest.
- 0:57Speaker 3: This this podcast, you know, it's easy to listen to,
- 1:00Speaker 3: it's quick, and you get a lot of information in
- 1:03Speaker 3: this fall amount of time, you know what I mean.
- 1:05Speaker 3: So it's like everything you need to know. So if
- 1:07Speaker 3: like if you had a busy weekend and you weren't
- 1:09Speaker 3: able to you know, scroll on your phone or just
- 1:12Speaker 3: you know, read a headline. You kind of get the
- 1:15Speaker 3: headlines in the entertainment world here. And then when you're
- 1:19Speaker 3: talking to you know, Susie at work and you know, hey,
- 1:22Speaker 3: did you hear about so and so? And you're informed.
- 1:26Speaker 3: So we're doing we're doing a job, we're doing a
- 1:28Speaker 3: service for.
- 1:28Speaker 2: We are doing a service like a PSA. Plus, let's
- 1:31Speaker 2: be honest. With so much drama, so much ugliness going
- 1:34Speaker 2: on in the world, we're all here each morning for
- 1:38Speaker 2: the same reason to love me no, no, no, to
- 1:43Speaker 2: get to get all the gossip. But if you saw
- 1:46Speaker 2: Barry Madelone this weekend, you'll know where I stole that
- 1:49Speaker 2: joke from. Okay, let's jump into the show. What time
- 1:51Speaker 2: is it? My friends? See time? Big story at the
- 1:55Speaker 2: top of the show, Megan Markle and Harry will live
- 1:57Speaker 2: to regret not having any relationship for their children and
- 2:02Speaker 2: the royals. So Graydon Carter was a big editor here
- 2:06Speaker 2: in New York of Vanity Fair. He really was the
- 2:09Speaker 2: sort of grand damn so to speak of society outlets.
- 2:14Speaker 2: And he did an interview and he said, this is
- 2:16Speaker 2: going to come back to haunt them at a certain point,
- 2:19Speaker 2: they have no cousins that they see, or uncles or aunts,
- 2:23Speaker 2: and they don't see their grandparents except for one that
- 2:26Speaker 2: would be Meggan's mommy. He also criticized them for moving
- 2:30Speaker 2: to Montecito, California. He said, there is nothing to do there, nothing, nothing, nothing.
- 2:36Speaker 2: He called it God's waiting room. There's a lot of
- 2:39Speaker 2: older people, very rich older people, but nevertheless older people
- 2:43Speaker 2: in Montecito. He said, quote, it's a forty minute drive
- 2:47Speaker 2: from la and there can't be many kids there because
- 2:50Speaker 2: there's not a lot of young families there who can
- 2:53Speaker 2: afford it. So normally in life, as you get older,
- 2:56Speaker 2: you get more experienced, you make some more money. If
- 2:59Speaker 2: you think about it, in your twenties and your thirties,
- 3:02Speaker 2: you're probably struggling a little bit as you learnt your
- 3:04Speaker 2: craft as you got promoted. And so what he's saying
- 3:07Speaker 2: is that young families cannot live in this neighborhood because
- 3:10Speaker 2: it's just crazy, crazy expensive. The point he didn't make either, though,
- 3:14Speaker 2: is that the young people that do live there have
- 3:17Speaker 2: mostly inherited their wealth and that's why they are living there.
- 3:21Speaker 3: So exactly, like I mean, let's be honest, Harry did
- 3:26Speaker 3: the same you know, it's not like he's going to
- 3:29Speaker 3: live in a one bedroom, you know, in the poor
- 3:32Speaker 3: part of California, because that's not who he is.
- 3:35Speaker 1: He doesn't have the money.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Like so it's kind of like a jaded article, you
- 3:38Speaker 3: know what I mean, Like where it's like, oh, yeah,
- 3:41Speaker 3: they should be living this way because they're this age,
- 3:43Speaker 3: but the other said they have money.
- 3:45Speaker 1: But they should be living like this. You know.
- 3:47Speaker 3: It's like that, And that's why I feel bad for
- 3:49Speaker 3: Harry and Meghan. Not to say they don't bring some
- 3:51Speaker 3: stuff on to them, and I think we all agree,
- 3:53Speaker 3: but I think they just they don't get they don't
- 3:56Speaker 3: get a fair shake sometimes because people just see both
- 3:59Speaker 3: sides as a from their view at times.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Right, well, I can't win. It feels like they can't
- 4:03Speaker 2: win here. But it did get me thinking about growing up.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I grew up in a sort of working class, middle
- 4:08Speaker 2: class neighborhood and I loved it. I loved it and
- 4:11Speaker 2: the people I met were all none of us had
- 4:14Speaker 2: any money, but we had a lot of love and
- 4:17Speaker 2: I loved where I grew up. And if I could
- 4:19Speaker 2: do it again, I wouldn't want to be a Prince
- 4:21Speaker 2: of England. I wouldn't want to grow up in a palace.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I want to meet friends who I'm still friends with,
- 4:27Speaker 2: people who I could connect with. I'm like Eliza Doolittle.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I've got this fancy accent now where I'm doing so well,
- 4:34Speaker 2: But really I was selling flowers on the street almost,
- 4:37Speaker 2: Like what about your neighborhood? And you've got children too, Garrett,
- 4:40Speaker 2: So how important is it for your kids to be
- 4:43Speaker 2: surrounded by a diverse group of people? And how important
- 4:46Speaker 2: is it for them to have cousins and nieces and nephews.
- 4:48Speaker 3: No, they have about ten cousins, wow, already and growing.
- 4:54Speaker 3: My sister is actually probably having her first child sometime
- 4:59Speaker 3: this week at it at at some point, so I'll
- 5:02Speaker 3: be a I'll be a blood uncle, uh the first time.
- 5:06Speaker 3: But yeah, And and I grew up in a neighborhood
- 5:09Speaker 3: very similar to yours, probably kids playing in the street
- 5:11Speaker 3: until the lights the street lights came on and you know, uh,
- 5:15Speaker 3: running down the street for the ice cream truck. But
- 5:18Speaker 3: I will say, though, you and I, though we weren't
- 5:20Speaker 3: born into the money, you know what I mean? Like,
- 5:23Speaker 3: I think it's different for people that were born into it,
- 5:26Speaker 3: because it's hard for you to go back. It's not
- 5:28Speaker 3: like some some lifetime movie where the rich person like
- 5:33Speaker 3: Richie rich and they want to act cool and and
- 5:35Speaker 3: and combine. They want to relate to those that aren't
- 5:39Speaker 3: as rich. So it's hard for for for the Royals
- 5:42Speaker 3: to go backwards, you know what I mean, possible nobody.
- 5:48Speaker 3: You have the money, you can't go backwards. I think
- 5:50Speaker 3: if you don't have the money, you can go forward.
- 5:52Speaker 2: You can get forward.
- 5:53Speaker 1: That's good. Backwards and relate, but you can't.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That's a good point. Yeah, that's a good point. I
- 5:56Speaker 2: value money because I never had any, and so now
- 5:59Speaker 2: I really really value it. When I worked with Paris Hilton,
- 6:01Speaker 2: it made me a bit sad that she didn't really
- 6:03Speaker 2: value fancy shoes because she had so many. Like to
- 6:08Speaker 2: this day, if I buy a new pair of shoes
- 6:11Speaker 2: they smell like new leather, I get excited or I
- 6:14Speaker 2: try them hard. I put them in the box after
- 6:16Speaker 2: I've used them, not really after six months, but for
- 6:19Speaker 2: the first six months. I'm quite careful. I don't want
- 6:21Speaker 2: to scuff them. And I don't think Paris ever had
- 6:24Speaker 2: that thrill.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Flop around it. She grew up around it so different.
- 6:28Speaker 1: That's her normal.
- 6:29Speaker 3: You know what I mean, putting your shoes in the
- 6:32Speaker 3: box for the first six months is normal for her
- 6:34Speaker 3: getting a pair of shoes and throwing out.
- 6:36Speaker 1: The boxes she got. It is like, you know, just
- 6:39Speaker 1: just like a dollar bill to you and.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I, oh, yeah, you're absolutely right the floor with Graydon Carter.
- 6:43Speaker 2: That's the fancy editor's argument here, though. If they weren't
- 6:46Speaker 2: growing up in Montecito, they'd be growing up in a palace,
- 6:49Speaker 2: and I wouldn't argue that that's not necessarily the most diverse,
- 6:53Speaker 2: regular place to grow up Beaver. So I think actually
- 6:55Speaker 2: Harry and Megan are trying to give their children as
- 6:57Speaker 2: much normality as possible, and living in a mansion rather
- 7:00Speaker 2: than a palace means people are not bowing and curtsying,
- 7:04Speaker 2: and that's probably a good thing.
- 7:05Speaker 3: And you know what, you feel younger because you move
- 7:07Speaker 3: into a neighborhood of all like grandma and Grandpa's, you
- 7:11Speaker 3: feel like the young kid too. So like, let's be honest,
- 7:14Speaker 3: they know what they were doing there, Yeah, they'll be
- 7:16Speaker 3: They'll be young forever until they're youngs are old enough forever.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Okay, this brings us to our poll question of the day.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Harry and Meghan will live to regret their kids not
- 7:25Speaker 2: having any relationship with the Royals. Do you agree? Yes
- 7:29Speaker 2: or no? Go vert on our Twitter page at Naughty
- 7:31Speaker 2: Knows Facebook page Naughty God zip and be sure to
- 7:34Speaker 2: check back to Mara Water here your results. Hey Garrett Love,
- 7:38Speaker 2: what are you working on? All? Right?
- 7:39Speaker 3: So it's interesting that let's talk about Britney Spears real quick.
- 7:43Speaker 3: So she just posted this pic of her sons and
- 7:46Speaker 3: as you know, if you've been following the news if not,
- 7:48Speaker 3: her sons want to go move with dad to Hawaii.
- 7:51Speaker 3: So if you've been wondering where Kevin Federline has been
- 7:54Speaker 3: for all this time, he's been in Hawaii living your life.
- 7:57Speaker 3: But their sons, since they do share a child, Kevin
- 8:01Speaker 3: and Britney obviously obviously two sons, the sons want to
- 8:05Speaker 3: move there because of I guess if again you've been
- 8:08Speaker 3: following Britney Spears, you know she's she posts a lot,
- 8:12Speaker 3: and she shows a lot, and she talks a lot,
- 8:14Speaker 3: and that's what we see online. But the boys see
- 8:16Speaker 3: different when they're at home. So they now that they're
- 8:20Speaker 3: becoming of age where they're almost eighteen years old and
- 8:22Speaker 3: can make the decision, they want to move to Hawaii
- 8:24Speaker 3: with dad. But Brittany did something very interesting over the weekend,
- 8:28Speaker 3: posted a photo of her with her two sons, holding
- 8:32Speaker 3: them kind of like a nostalgia I don't know if
- 8:35Speaker 3: it's a play to kind of pull out their hearts
- 8:37Speaker 3: a little bit or the public's hearts, but she posted
- 8:40Speaker 3: the picture pretty much like, Hey, I raised you, here
- 8:42Speaker 3: we are I still love you. You got to make
- 8:45Speaker 3: your own decisions. But it will be interesting to see
- 8:48Speaker 3: how this all plays out over the course of the
- 8:51Speaker 3: next couple years, really, because both boys are going to
- 8:55Speaker 3: hit eighteen, which means all the money that Brittany's been
- 8:59Speaker 3: paying Kevin kind of stops and what will happen from there,
- 9:03Speaker 3: So it'll be it'll be one of those things that
- 9:06Speaker 3: we watch from afar.
- 9:07Speaker 1: You know. The Brittany fans are gonna be all over it,
- 9:09Speaker 1: but us.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I think hopefully it just all works out and Brittany
- 9:14Speaker 3: can you know, become herself and not have to worry
- 9:17Speaker 3: about paying Kevin. Kevin can hopefully help raise the boys,
- 9:21Speaker 3: and the boys hopefully have a normal adulthood.
- 9:24Speaker 2: That's what they want, old enough, Yeah, that's what they want. Here.
- 9:26Speaker 2: A couple of things. I think the boys just want
- 9:28Speaker 2: to be anonymous. They just want to go to Hawaii
- 9:30Speaker 2: and blend in and disappear, and that that might happen.
- 9:33Speaker 2: So I understand that the other point here there and
- 9:35Speaker 2: I find this fascinating. In Hawaii, child support can be
- 9:41Speaker 2: ordered for children up to the age of twenty three.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It's the only place.
- 9:48Speaker 3: So do you think I mean, given there they're once
- 9:53Speaker 3: is Sean seventeen Jaiden sixteen, like the court could look
- 9:57Speaker 3: at it eighteen that that seems a little sketchy.
- 10:01Speaker 2: It does seem a little suspicious, doesn't it. Of all
- 10:04Speaker 2: the places in America, the only place where you can
- 10:08Speaker 2: collect child support up to the age of twenty three
- 10:12Speaker 2: is Hawaii, and that's where they're going now. The one
- 10:15Speaker 2: stipulation is the kids have to be in full time education.
- 10:19Speaker 2: So if these two boys turn up in the Hawaii
- 10:21Speaker 2: in a couple of weeks months and they enroll in school,
- 10:25Speaker 2: then I'll be really suspicious because if they don't, if
- 10:27Speaker 2: they get jobs, then in a year for Sean, in
- 10:31Speaker 2: two years for Jaden, it's over. And I do believe
- 10:35Speaker 2: Brittany pays twenty thousand dollars a month, that's gonna end
- 10:39Speaker 2: in a year if they remain in California, they're moving
- 10:43Speaker 2: to Hawaii. So it's just another little detailer devious detail.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I love that expression that it's tricky, isn't it with
- 10:50Speaker 2: Brittany and we do WI share the best, We really do.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I want them all to just get along, Okay, moving along.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Kanye Western ice Cube have reunited after falling out after
- 11:00Speaker 2: anti semitic remark so ice Cube and Kanye West, who
- 11:04Speaker 2: are really good friends, seemingly called a truce after the
- 11:09Speaker 2: rapper denied being the source of inspiration for Kanye's anti
- 11:14Speaker 2: semitic remarks last year. So last year, Kanye lost his mind,
- 11:18Speaker 2: said horrific, horrific things, and at the time he implied
- 11:25Speaker 2: that they were inspired by ice Cube, saying that Cube
- 11:30Speaker 2: had really influenced him to quote get on the anti
- 11:35Speaker 2: semitic vibe. Now. Right after that, Ice Cube took to
- 11:39Speaker 2: Twitter saying this has nothing to do with me and
- 11:42Speaker 2: don't drag my name into your bs. So ice Cube, rightfully,
- 11:47Speaker 2: so at the time was livid about this, and we've
- 11:50Speaker 2: not seen them together since. Now, Kanye seems to be
- 11:53Speaker 2: a little bit more stable today than he was last year.
- 11:56Speaker 2: A few months ago, and friends are still friends, I guess.
- 12:00Speaker 2: But this is the problem with Kanye West is so unpredictable.
- 12:04Speaker 2: You don't know what you're going to say. You'll tell
- 12:06Speaker 2: him that he won't share.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing too.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Well, first I envision this is how I envisioned this,
- 12:11Speaker 3: you know, ice Cube sitting at home, maybe maybe drinking
- 12:13Speaker 3: some coffee, ice coffee maybe, and then all of a sudden,
- 12:16Speaker 3: you know, opens up his phone to these headlines like
- 12:19Speaker 3: what's the what did I do? No? No, no, no,
- 12:23Speaker 3: no no no exactly. But I also think time heals
- 12:27Speaker 3: all in friendships. I'm not saying specifically looking at the
- 12:30Speaker 3: context of what's there, but I think if you're a
- 12:33Speaker 3: true friend and something happens, uh, you know, in your relationship,
- 12:37Speaker 3: I think time does heal all.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It does heal a lot of things, but a lot
- 12:43Speaker 2: of things can be healed over over time. But I
- 12:46Speaker 2: think you've got to set up some guardrails here, Like
- 12:48Speaker 2: if I was going to become friends with Kanye saying
- 12:50Speaker 2: no sharing text, no sharing screenshots.
- 12:53Speaker 1: You can't even do that, Kanyek.
- 12:56Speaker 3: All you could do is I think either face to
- 12:59Speaker 3: face communication at that point if you're going to be
- 13:01Speaker 3: friends with him, or phone calls, not even phone calls,
- 13:03Speaker 3: because you would probably record it as.
- 13:05Speaker 2: We should probably record it. So it's just we've got
- 13:07Speaker 2: a meeting person and you've got to talk and oh
- 13:09Speaker 2: it's so complicated. Okay, moving along, we're running out of
- 13:12Speaker 2: time a little bit. Today. Kim Cattrell, we talked about
- 13:15Speaker 2: this is returning to Sex and the City. However, she
- 13:17Speaker 2: has a few stipulations about returning that we did break
- 13:22Speaker 2: actually first on this show on Friday. Now we have
- 13:26Speaker 2: a few more what's going on with Kim?
- 13:28Speaker 3: All right, So Kim Cattrell, she is coming back to
- 13:31Speaker 3: hang out with her best friends, I guess you could
- 13:33Speaker 3: say on camera at least for and just like that
- 13:38Speaker 3: season two, the spin off on Max of course, you know,
- 13:41Speaker 3: from Sex and the City. So here's the thing. We
- 13:44Speaker 3: don't know how she's going to appear. There's been a
- 13:48Speaker 3: lot of rumors that it's going to be a phone
- 13:50Speaker 3: call at the end of season two, that's what it is.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Hangs up that it'll just be a glimpse of her
- 13:56Speaker 3: face kind of, you know, So we don't really know
- 13:58Speaker 3: will she be involved yet to what degree?
- 14:00Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 14:01Speaker 3: But there were some stipulations, like you said too. So
- 14:04Speaker 3: they shoot out in Queens And apparently it's not just
- 14:09Speaker 3: Sarah Jessica Parker that Kim control has a problem with,
- 14:12Speaker 3: but it's also a Michael Patrick King oh is.
- 14:16Speaker 1: The one of the showrunners.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Yes, the producer, he's the boss.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Correct.
- 14:20Speaker 3: So that's a story that we weren't familiar with. We
- 14:23Speaker 3: just thought Kim and Sarah Jessica Parker had it out
- 14:27Speaker 3: and that was it. But apparently it's more more tight
- 14:29Speaker 3: than just Sarah Jessica Parker.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Kim feels as if everybody took Sarah aside, so she's
- 14:33Speaker 2: not really close to Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis. There are
- 14:36Speaker 2: stories that when the show traveled, Sarah and Kristen and
- 14:40Speaker 2: Cynthia and even Michael would all stay at a house
- 14:42Speaker 2: and they didn't invite Kim to be part of this.
- 14:44Speaker 2: So there's a lot of stories over the years going
- 14:46Speaker 2: back about really how this friendship was never really a friendship,
- 14:49Speaker 2: and it was worse than that, it wasn't even neutral.
- 14:51Speaker 1: How do you think it's going to play off for Kim.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I think it's going to be a two second phone
- 14:55Speaker 2: call where she picks up the phone in the back
- 14:56Speaker 2: of the car and she talks to Sarah, to Harry Bradshaw,
- 15:01Speaker 2: and then it'll be a big cliffhanger and then there'll
- 15:04Speaker 2: be big talks about whether or not she comes back
- 15:06Speaker 2: full time. She's not really coming back. It's a cameo,
- 15:08Speaker 2: you know. She shot it in half a day, So
- 15:10Speaker 2: half a day shooting. It's probably three pages, which is
- 15:12Speaker 2: probably less than three minutes, so it's going to be
- 15:15Speaker 2: a really really short thing. I think it's exciting, but
- 15:17Speaker 2: we should be really clear here. Sarah Jessica Parker is
- 15:20Speaker 2: the executive producer of this, so she would not be
- 15:23Speaker 2: allowing this to happen if she didn't want it. So
- 15:25Speaker 2: Sarah's ultimately said yes to this. So maybe there's a
- 15:28Speaker 2: little bit of shall we say, coming together between these
- 15:31Speaker 2: two ladies. Hey, we're going to take a quick break though,
- 15:34Speaker 2: and we promise we will come together and back in
- 15:36Speaker 2: just the moment. Welcome back to the Naughty but Night
- 15:40Speaker 2: Shlumbum Shoulder with her dear friend Garrett Vogel. Hey, Garrett,
- 15:43Speaker 2: let's get to the polls. Oh, thank you, darling. Last
- 15:47Speaker 2: year we talked about Prince Harry allegedly calling in the
- 15:50Speaker 2: divorce lawyers a few months ago. So there's rumors that
- 15:53Speaker 2: Harry and Meghan are in trouble. Some people are blaming
- 15:55Speaker 2: Kate and William for these rumors. I don't think it's them.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Royal experts in Britain are saying they have sources saying
- 16:01Speaker 2: the marriage is in terrible trouble and they've ever met
- 16:03Speaker 2: with divorce divorce lawyers. Her question was, do you believe
- 16:07Speaker 2: the split rumors? Let's have a look. Sixty five percent
- 16:10Speaker 2: said no. I am with you. You know, marriages have
- 16:13Speaker 2: ups and downs, even the best ones, and they probably
- 16:16Speaker 2: have had some difficulties. They're a young couple, they have children,
- 16:19Speaker 2: and so I think there's probably difficulties there. But I
- 16:22Speaker 2: certainly know that they are not breaking up at least
- 16:26Speaker 2: just yet. Don't forget to vote on today's pole. Go
- 16:29Speaker 2: to my Twitter page at Naughty Nice rab Facebook pages
- 16:31Speaker 2: and already goes him. But I'm be sure to check
- 16:33Speaker 2: that tomorrow to hear your results. And now I love
- 16:36Speaker 2: this one. It's time for our Nisiest of the day.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Well, also we are in June, so happy Pride month.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Everyone happy and lied. Let's talk about Taylor Swift who
- 16:47Speaker 3: took her Ears tour over to Chicago. She was in
- 16:51Speaker 3: New Jersey last week in Chicago over the weekend, and
- 16:55Speaker 3: she she actually took to the stage and she celebrated
- 16:58Speaker 3: the LGBTQ you ia plus fans that came out by saying,
- 17:03Speaker 3: this is a safe space for you. I think she
- 17:06Speaker 3: also meant it for everyone too, but specifically since it
- 17:09Speaker 3: is Pride month. She goes, I'm looking out tonight as
- 17:12Speaker 3: she was on stage, I'm seeing so many incredible individuals
- 17:14Speaker 3: who are living authentically and beautifully, and this is a
- 17:17Speaker 3: safe space for you. This is a celebratory space for you.
- 17:22Speaker 3: And she said it feels so prideful when she sees
- 17:25Speaker 3: her fans so loving and so thoughtful and so caring
- 17:28Speaker 3: and as you can attest, rob being in that stadium
- 17:31Speaker 3: for that show is something special because everyone is there
- 17:36Speaker 3: for one reason, the love of Taylor Swift. But on
- 17:39Speaker 3: top of that, you become friends with people, you get bracelets,
- 17:42Speaker 3: you almost become lifelong friends from being fans online together
- 17:46Speaker 3: then to doing the experience of the Taylor Swift show altogether.
- 17:50Speaker 3: But on top of that, Telorswift also then urged her
- 17:53Speaker 3: fans to vote in local elections and stand with the
- 17:56Speaker 3: LGBTQIA plus community beyond the month of June's so true,
- 18:01Speaker 3: because yes, we can celebrate in June, but if you're
- 18:03Speaker 3: not celebrating and informing and learning outside of June, it's
- 18:08Speaker 3: just it doesn't really mean as much, you know what
- 18:11Speaker 3: I mean? So do your part two outside of just
- 18:13Speaker 3: the month of June and learn a little bit more.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Maybe you're unfamiliar with something, you know.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yeah, she's really amazing. I went to her show, but
- 18:22Speaker 2: it was in New York.
- 18:23Speaker 3: New Jersey's weird how you say New York, but really
- 18:27Speaker 3: wasn't It.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Was in New Jersey. I was in New York. Me me,
- 18:30Speaker 2: me me. I went to her in New Jersey. Let's
- 18:32Speaker 2: be clear about that. She did not come to my
- 18:34Speaker 2: apartment to see her. It was incredible. She has created
- 18:38Speaker 2: a safe space. There's lots of misfits in the audience,
- 18:40Speaker 2: including me, and there were a lot of really pretty
- 18:43Speaker 2: sort of cheerleaders type. She gets everybody. But what we
- 18:46Speaker 2: all shared is this common kindness. There's such a kindness
- 18:51Speaker 2: about Taylor Swift concerts. When I went to see Madonna,
- 18:53Speaker 2: oh my goodness, they'd push you over to get a
- 18:55Speaker 2: better seat. That is not true with the Taylor Swift fans,
- 18:58Speaker 2: they were caring. Nobody's pushing at the bar. No, one's
- 19:01Speaker 2: pushing at the merchandise. They're caring, really great people, and
- 19:04Speaker 2: she's created that. And to speak out like this and
- 19:07Speaker 2: even get political. We're not a political show. But for
- 19:10Speaker 2: her to do that is just so brave and nicest
- 19:13Speaker 2: of the day. Okay, let's do a naughty's the day, No,
- 19:15Speaker 2: not notly naughty, naughty. Ryan Gostlin is responding to criticism
- 19:19Speaker 2: that he's too old to play Ken in Bobby. So
- 19:22Speaker 2: he's saying, basically, Ken's a Dahl actually, and you know what,
- 19:26Speaker 2: nobody really cared about Ken. That's the whole point. We
- 19:29Speaker 2: all cared about Barbie, nobody cared about Ken. So he's
- 19:33Speaker 2: finding this discourse kind of funny at the moment. And
- 19:37Speaker 2: he said, if you ever really cared about Ken, you
- 19:41Speaker 2: would know that nobody cares about Ken. So your hypocrisy
- 19:45Speaker 2: is exposed. I think he's going to be just great.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Let's end with a moment of rob Rob Robbira. Success
- 19:53Speaker 2: is not the key to happiness. In fact, there is
- 19:57Speaker 2: no key to happiness because the door is always open.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Don't think of happiness as a door that you have
- 20:05Speaker 2: to open. It's open, you've just got to walk through it. Deep. Okay,
- 20:11Speaker 2: that's it for today. Thank you so much for listening
- 20:13Speaker 2: to the Naughty but Nice Show. You make me happy
- 20:16Speaker 2: with Rob and our friend Darrett. Don't forget to vote
- 20:20Speaker 2: on all our polls. And remember, everybody, if you're going
- 20:26Speaker 2: to be naughty, you've got to be nice. Take care everybody.
- 20:31Speaker 1: It's not even nice with Brah
