- 1:51Speaker 2: What are five things like a mandatory five things that
- 1:56Speaker 2: they have to do as far as their personal finance
- 2:00Speaker 2: in regards today stuff that we talk about.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Number one, I love the debt snowball, So take off
- 2:07Speaker 3: your your smallest debt. Aim to pick that off first.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Number two, pick two to four stocks that you're going
- 2:16Speaker 3: to invest in for the next ten to fifteen years
- 2:19Speaker 3: of your life. Don't deviate from it. Number three, pick
- 2:22Speaker 3: an amount that you are going to invest and don't
- 2:24Speaker 3: deviate because sometimes people will hear these numbers and like, well,
- 2:27Speaker 3: I don't have sixty grand to put into the market.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Start with two hundred, and then once you see the
- 2:32Speaker 3: two hundred go to four, you're going to find one
- 2:35Speaker 3: thousand or fifteen hundred to then and put into the vehicle.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Number three Not to be self aggrandizing, but to watch
- 2:43Speaker 3: us every week, because if you do that, you're going
- 2:45Speaker 3: to get a higher return on investment than if you
- 2:47Speaker 3: watch on the shows. If I made you money, please
- 2:49Speaker 3: put yes and chat. Look y'all, get the book. You
- 2:51Speaker 3: deserve to be rich. Number four, find one or two
- 2:55Speaker 3: people that you're going to have these conversations with. It's
- 2:58Speaker 3: like having a sparing part nerve or someone to work
- 3:01Speaker 3: out with. I don't want you to lean on them
- 3:03Speaker 3: for accountability. But if like we've stuck together for five
- 3:07Speaker 3: years and we kept telling y'all we're going to stick together, right,
- 3:11Speaker 3: We've grown collectively and individually as a result. A lot
- 3:14Speaker 3: of times I'll see people trying and do this on
- 3:16Speaker 3: their own, and because they don't have someone to lean on,
- 3:18Speaker 3: they don't stay in a game as long. And then
- 3:21Speaker 3: number five kill the lifestyle creep like I see too
- 3:26Speaker 3: many of us get to that first hundred thousand, first
- 3:29Speaker 3: two hundred thousand and you get the blonde it on
- 3:32Speaker 3: Mike Emery and you want to talk to me about tariffs,
- 3:35Speaker 3: go shout with Johnny Dang. I see a lot of
- 3:38Speaker 3: y'all come out here and go hit Johnny Dang and hey,
- 3:41Speaker 3: how give your discount because people have been coming. I'm like,
- 3:44Speaker 3: I know, it's fun to look like you have all
- 3:46Speaker 3: the money in the world. It's more fun to actually
- 3:48Speaker 3: have the money in your possession.
- 3:51Speaker 4: That's effect. That's a fact. Now, that was great. That
- 3:54Speaker 4: was great for me.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It would be you have to secure your retirement, so
- 4:00Speaker 2: you start to invest in your four to one k,
- 4:04Speaker 2: have an IRA if you're self employed, have a set
- 4:08Speaker 2: plan the things that we talked about, but you gotta
- 4:12Speaker 2: have money or later on down the line of forced
- 4:16Speaker 2: savings that you don't even think about. That is tax
- 4:20Speaker 2: advantage where you're saving money on taxes. And you'll also
- 4:23Speaker 2: be able to have a nest egg at some point
- 4:26Speaker 2: in time in retirement because it's going to be here
- 4:29Speaker 2: before you know it. So securing your retirement is a
- 4:32Speaker 2: major thing. And then if you have kids, you had
- 4:36Speaker 2: to plan for them. So we talk about five to
- 4:38Speaker 2: twenty nine plan, which is how you can save money
- 4:41Speaker 2: for college. Or you can have an UTMA account, which
- 4:44Speaker 2: is how you can just save money for your child
- 4:46Speaker 2: in general doesn't necessarily have to be used for college,
- 4:48Speaker 2: but you want to secure or start to, you know,
- 4:52Speaker 2: have some level of security for them, So that's important.
- 4:55Speaker 2: You could put money away to earlier you start the
- 4:57Speaker 2: better compounding interest. One of the things that weren't buffet
- 4:59Speaker 2: you across the way life insurance. You have to make
- 5:04Speaker 2: sure that you secure your life life insurance. We've had
- 5:08Speaker 2: a lot of conversations about that. But if somebody's just
- 5:11Speaker 2: starting out, that's a great thing to do for sure,
- 5:14Speaker 2: you know, foundational purposes.
- 5:16Speaker 4: As far as your financial plan.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I would say dollar cost average into the stock market
- 5:22Speaker 2: every single month from a brokerage account. You can open
- 5:25Speaker 2: a brokerage account. Put one hundred, two hundred, three hundred,
- 5:28Speaker 2: five hundred whatever you can afford. Whatever you can afford.
- 5:31Speaker 2: But you know, Ian says two tech two index. You
- 5:35Speaker 2: put together your strategy and you might have okay, s
- 5:38Speaker 2: and P five hundred, I'm gonna put two hundred dollars
- 5:41Speaker 2: into that every single month. I'm gonna put two hundred
- 5:43Speaker 2: dollars in the Microsoft every single month. Put money into
- 5:45Speaker 2: the market in a brokerag account. Force yourself for savings
- 5:49Speaker 2: every single month. That's important outside of your retirement. Two
- 5:52Speaker 2: different things. Your retirement what we call qualified. What's not
- 5:57Speaker 2: retirement is non qualified. So non qualified is just regular brokerage.
- 6:01Speaker 2: You can use that money whenever. You don't have to
- 6:02Speaker 2: wait until you're fifty nine and a half. But you
- 6:04Speaker 2: want to do two things simultaneously. And then the last
- 6:07Speaker 2: thing I would say is a state planning. Put together
- 6:10Speaker 2: a will if you at the point where trust makes sense,
- 6:13Speaker 2: make sure your beneficiaries are listed.
- 6:17Speaker 4: That's important. So those are five things that last.
- 6:21Speaker 2: One for sure if you on your pathway, if you
- 6:25Speaker 2: just start now, or even if you haven't just started out,
- 6:27Speaker 2: you want to just look to make sure you're doing
- 6:29Speaker 2: things correctly. Retirement, college savings, or just savings for your
- 6:34Speaker 2: children in general, life insurance dollar cost average into the
- 6:37Speaker 2: stock market every single month. And then a state planning.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Make sure you have a will, a trust, put beneficiaries
- 6:44Speaker 2: on things. Look to see if everything is set up.
- 6:47Speaker 2: If you die today, will it be a mess? That's
- 6:51Speaker 2: how you got to gage this. If I die today,
- 6:55Speaker 2: is it going to be a mess? Meaning when I
- 6:56Speaker 2: say Is it going to be a mess. Is it
- 6:58Speaker 2: going to be how they going know with your passwords?
- 7:01Speaker 2: Or how they going to know how to get into
- 7:02Speaker 2: your bank account? How they gonna know where you have
- 7:04Speaker 2: bank accounts at, how they gonna know? So what you
- 7:08Speaker 2: should do is have a handbook where it's actually detailed,
- 7:12Speaker 2: and you put it with somebody that you trust, your beneficiary.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Your lawyer.
- 7:16Speaker 2: So that way, it's hard enough you die, somebody is
- 7:18Speaker 2: gonna have to make funeral arrangements. But just think about that,
- 7:22Speaker 2: like you're doing all this stuff, you're acquiring all this stuff.
- 7:24Speaker 2: You've got properties over here. If nobody knows about it, Yeah,
- 7:27Speaker 2: probate your password or worst case scenario, it can get forfeited,
- 7:33Speaker 2: or it's just not even it's just held. There's billions
- 7:36Speaker 2: of dollars that's just held in suspense right now because
- 7:40Speaker 2: nobody's ever claimed it, because nobody knows about it property.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Think about it. Crypto, same thing.
- 7:45Speaker 2: If you got crypto, nobody the coin base is not
- 7:48Speaker 2: gonna call your family like, hey.
- 7:50Speaker 4: You got dollars in ethereum waiting for you. What's your catchphrase?
- 7:55Speaker 4: Twenty one word? I got to think about it.
- 7:58Speaker 5: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 8:01Speaker 5: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 8:05Speaker 5: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 8:10Speaker 5: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 8:14Speaker 5: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 8:17Speaker 5: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 8:21Speaker 5: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 8:26Speaker 5: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 8:29Speaker 5: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 8:33Speaker 5: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 8:37Speaker 5: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 8:41Speaker 5: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 8:44Speaker 5: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 8:53Speaker 5: border and families will be protected.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
