- 0:08Speaker 1: What's going on? Good people, and welcome back to the
- 0:10Speaker 1: briefing room and brought to you by GMM Getaway's travel consultants,
- 0:14Speaker 1: helping you make memories with us. You are listening to
- 0:17Speaker 1: the sweet sounds in the back of one George Morgan
- 0:20Speaker 1: aka Buddy Love kicking that theme song to the briefing room.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Sounds so good, don't you agree? Let's talk about this
- 0:27Speaker 1: next presidential race because everybody's looking for the secret weapon
- 0:31Speaker 1: and the magic political ingredient. And it's not Tech, it's
- 0:35Speaker 1: not Ai, it's not the billionaires behind tech. Naw, folks,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you who it is right now.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It is women, and that demographic does not bowl well
- 0:44Speaker 1: for one. Jd Vance. I know we did our story
- 0:47Speaker 1: on him, and how smooth his takeover is. He is
- 0:50Speaker 1: leading from right behind Trump. He's trying to make a
- 0:52Speaker 1: case for himself. He's going on an apology tour. He's
- 0:55Speaker 1: trying to make himself more palatable, especially to women. I
- 0:59Speaker 1: don't think this is gonna work. If you go back
- 1:01Speaker 1: through my past shows, I did a show that was
- 1:04Speaker 1: entitled The Handmaid's Tail. This could actually happen because this
- 1:08Speaker 1: religious zealot like other religious zealots are obsessed with women's bodies.
- 1:15Speaker 1: They're obsessed with women's reproductive systems. When he complained about
- 1:18Speaker 1: women not having more babies, don't think for ten seconds
- 1:21Speaker 1: he didn't mean that. He did when he talks about
- 1:24Speaker 1: his family structure. And I know he's got a woman
- 1:26Speaker 1: from India. That's great for him. He's interracially married. That
- 1:30Speaker 1: should make him more sensitive. I don't know if it
- 1:32Speaker 1: does or not, but I don't want you to be
- 1:34Speaker 1: lulled into sleep, into thinking, well, Trump's not going to
- 1:37Speaker 1: be here and the next candidate is just a little
- 1:40Speaker 1: bit better. No, they're going to offer you JD. Vance,
- 1:41Speaker 1: And when they do, I want you to remember everything.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I want you to remember all the reproductive rights issues.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I want you to remember the war on women in
- 1:48Speaker 1: the courts, and I want you to remember just how
- 1:50Speaker 1: much these hyper evangelicals like JD. Vance view women in
- 1:55Speaker 1: a subservient role, and how they genuinely believe that they
- 1:59Speaker 1: have say over what women do with their bodies. Do
- 2:03Speaker 1: not forget that these women, all women, are the key
- 2:07Speaker 1: to this next election, and like always, women are about
- 2:11Speaker 1: to carry the entire weight of the American democracy on
- 2:14Speaker 1: their backs. While the rest of us argue about sports
- 2:17Speaker 1: and cryptocurrency, they are laser focused. One of my other
- 2:21Speaker 1: past shows, I talked about these groups that were, you know,
- 2:24Speaker 1: white women for Kamala, trans women for Kamla, all of
- 2:27Speaker 1: these different groups. Now it didn't work, wink wink, because
- 2:29Speaker 1: I still am on the fence about the results of
- 2:32Speaker 1: that last election. Trump's always the first one crying They're cheated,
- 2:36Speaker 1: they cheated. How dare they the results for fake news?
- 2:39Speaker 1: Fake news? I still and I know it's a conspiracy theory.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I have to say this out loud because there is
- 2:44Speaker 1: no proof. Let me be clear, there is no proof
- 2:48Speaker 1: that Starlink and Elon Musk had anything to do with
- 2:51Speaker 1: the election. But there is something in my gut that
- 2:54Speaker 1: won't let go of the idea that would all of
- 2:58Speaker 1: this momentum from women and all of the wars on
- 3:02Speaker 1: women in the courts that were leading up to that election.
- 3:05Speaker 1: You can't tell me somewhere along the way that something
- 3:08Speaker 1: is afoot, something is a miss, something in that whole
- 3:12Speaker 1: situation just doesn't sit well with me. But I'll let
- 3:15Speaker 1: it go because there's no official evidence and as of
- 3:18Speaker 1: right now, it is just a conspiracy. But I'm just saying,
- 3:23Speaker 1: so let's get with these categories. Let's go through the
- 3:26Speaker 1: reasoning why these women in the United States are still
- 3:30Speaker 1: the key to this next election. And we got to
- 3:33Speaker 1: start prime in a pump here, ladies and gentlemen, gentlemen especially,
- 3:36Speaker 1: we got to start carrying the mantle for women's rights.
- 3:39Speaker 1: We got to start being allies in the genuine sense
- 3:42Speaker 1: and not just for election reasons. Listen, I got three daughters.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I'm all about making sure that women get the respect
- 3:48Speaker 1: they deserve, that they get the equal opportunities that they deserve.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But now is the time to really lean into that
- 3:54Speaker 1: because they are going to decide this next election. Make
- 3:57Speaker 1: no mistake about it, and let us not make the
- 3:59Speaker 1: mistake of acting like it as we get two weeks away. Lady,
- 4:02Speaker 1: by the way, ladies, we need you, We do that
- 4:05Speaker 1: too much if you need him so bad, and if
- 4:08Speaker 1: we need him so bad. And when I say we,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get Trump's ass and his entire
- 4:11Speaker 1: crew up off the block. I'm still a Republicrat, but
- 4:15Speaker 1: I need some Repubblica I can believe in again, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: I am short on said Repubblica, and I don't want
- 4:22Speaker 1: to deal with just the crack, because that ain't good
- 4:24Speaker 1: enough either. We got to get this ish together so
- 4:27Speaker 1: we can start blending these worlds again and get some
- 4:29Speaker 1: actual candidates on both sides of the aisle that look palatable.
- 4:33Speaker 1: And so let's go into this and inspect the evidence.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Shall we.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Segment one the suburban deciders.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Yeah, the holy grail of modern politics, suburban women. And
- 4:46Speaker 1: let me be clear, suburban white women. You gotta put
- 4:49Speaker 1: the AH in there, because this is the real deal.
- 4:51Speaker 1: If you're political strategist, this demographic is you're obsessing. You
- 4:56Speaker 1: tracking these folks like an apex predator. You got them
- 4:58Speaker 1: on every board in your office, you got them on
- 5:01Speaker 1: every conversational list you are sending out emails to your team.
- 5:05Speaker 1: White women are at the epicenter of our attention, the
- 5:10Speaker 1: battle ground queens. We're talking about counties outside of Philadelphia, Detroit,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and Milwaukee. These voters are the ultimate swing factor. And
- 5:19Speaker 1: they aren't fierce and loyal to a party. They're loyal
- 5:22Speaker 1: to sanity, safety, and consistency. Women don't like chaos. This
- 5:28Speaker 1: is what's hurting Trump. Women like to know what's coming next.
- 5:31Speaker 1: This is one of the reasons they for the most
- 5:33Speaker 1: part have better credit than we do. One of the
- 5:35Speaker 1: reasons for the most parts that when it comes to
- 5:37Speaker 1: leadership in jobs, especially that take a lot of detailed infrastructure,
- 5:42Speaker 1: infrastructure and jobs that are occupations that are heavily regulated,
- 5:47Speaker 1: women oftentimes make the better leaders. They are detail oriented,
- 5:51Speaker 1: they like predictability, which means safety to them, all of
- 5:55Speaker 1: the things. They are the anti Trump air goals, the
- 5:59Speaker 1: anti Republican Party right now, because let us not let
- 6:02Speaker 1: everybody forget, especially these women, that the Trump Party have
- 6:07Speaker 1: enabled him to be who he is right now, that
- 6:11Speaker 1: he would not be running them up the way that
- 6:14Speaker 1: he is were it not for these sick ephants next
- 6:17Speaker 1: to him, these cowards, these these hangers on, and they're
- 6:21Speaker 1: all about power more than people, and they've proven it
- 6:25Speaker 1: by their actions and their lack thereof when it comes
- 6:28Speaker 1: to the Constitution and what's best for America, do not
- 6:31Speaker 1: let them forget that. And these women are loyal to
- 6:34Speaker 1: that consistency and that safety, and they, of all people
- 6:38Speaker 1: will be like, now, wait a minute, you just sat
- 6:41Speaker 1: back where everybody everything went to hell in a handbasket,
- 6:44Speaker 1: and you want my vote, Well, I think not, sir.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Let us not forget about that the widening gender gap.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Men are skewing further right, women are skewing further left.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It's not just a political divide anymore, folks. It's everything.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Thanksgiving dinner for the foreseeable future. This goes back to JD. Vance.
- 7:05Speaker 1: This goes back to evangelicals talking about their place of
- 7:09Speaker 1: manhood in America. Men should be the providers. They should
- 7:13Speaker 1: be out there taking care of the bells and providing,
- 7:17Speaker 1: and women should be at home with the children, preparing
- 7:20Speaker 1: dinner and apple pies. And June Cleaver. The image of
- 7:25Speaker 1: June Cleaver is the model for the Republican Party, especially
- 7:30Speaker 1: Republicans like JD. Vance. And I don't say that in jest.
- 7:35Speaker 1: If you go back to Leva de Beaver and you
- 7:37Speaker 1: look at that image of June Cleaver, this I promise you,
- 7:41Speaker 1: this is not hyperbole. If you could dig into JD
- 7:44Speaker 1: Vance's mind and just search the corners of every ounce
- 7:48Speaker 1: of that thing, I promise you that this image would
- 7:52Speaker 1: be in some golden frame. On the subject of women,
- 7:57Speaker 1: look at that white woman, got her heels on, she's
- 8:01Speaker 1: got her pearls, her dress is nicely quaffed, she's got
- 8:05Speaker 1: her apron on. She's baking that all American pie. Ward
- 8:10Speaker 1: comes home. She looks at him so longingly. Ward, o Ward,
- 8:14Speaker 1: what did you learn at work today that you can
- 8:16Speaker 1: impart to to me and Wally and the beef because
- 8:19Speaker 1: we need your leadership. So it sounds like I'm being
- 8:22Speaker 1: funny or a jackass, but it is the God's honor truth.
- 8:26Speaker 1: There are so many men that follow Trump, so many
- 8:31Speaker 1: men from the JD. Vans camp pra Trump even because
- 8:35Speaker 1: this is who he is. This has nothing to do
- 8:37Speaker 1: with Trump. This image of women, not just their reproductive rights,
- 8:43Speaker 1: but who these men believe they are. I interviewed on
- 8:47Speaker 1: one of my shows in the past. The book was
- 8:51Speaker 1: called Jesus and John Wayne and it was by doctor
- 8:54Speaker 1: Christin Dumez. I encourage you to read that book about women,
- 8:58Speaker 1: white women, especially in this evangelical movement, the way they're
- 9:02Speaker 1: viewed and this hyper masculinity, this toxic masculinity is John
- 9:07Speaker 1: Wayne type Christianity of these Christian men holding their belt
- 9:11Speaker 1: buckles and they're telling these women, you're gonna do as
- 9:13Speaker 1: you're told. This is your role, accept it or move on.
- 9:19Speaker 1: This is who we are. She breaks that thing down
- 9:22Speaker 1: with laser precision in terms of who these men are,
- 9:27Speaker 1: how they think, and what this looks like for the
- 9:29Speaker 1: women in their orbit. And she even breaks down the
- 9:32Speaker 1: psychology behind these women putting up with it, where you've
- 9:35Speaker 1: seen a break in that lately, and that is the
- 9:38Speaker 1: thing that has led to the widening of this gap.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And you've watched men do the opposite, not just men
- 9:44Speaker 1: of these evangelical groups, men outside of that, men that
- 9:48Speaker 1: have nothing to do with that. They're starting to lean
- 9:51Speaker 1: into this toxic masculinity. And you've got a whole generation
- 9:54Speaker 1: of young men, especially young white men, who are questioning
- 9:58Speaker 1: their role in community and in family. What is my role?
- 10:03Speaker 1: And you've had people come along and feed them this ideology.
- 10:07Speaker 1: You know what your role is?
- 10:09Speaker 2: This?
- 10:10Speaker 1: And America is leaning too much the other way. They're
- 10:13Speaker 1: going left. They've taken men out of their rightful place
- 10:17Speaker 1: in their own households, as husbands, as fathers, as providers,
- 10:21Speaker 1: as leaders. Now what are you gonna do about it?
- 10:23Speaker 1: And there's a whole generation of young white men that
- 10:26Speaker 1: are like, yeah, I'm with it. You think I'm just
- 10:30Speaker 1: clowning on the air right now, do your homework. So
- 10:34Speaker 1: this divide is palpable, it's real. I encourage you to
- 10:38Speaker 1: take a look at it. Look, politicians treat suburban women
- 10:40Speaker 1: like there's some mysterious, uncontacted tribe in Amazon. It's not
- 10:45Speaker 1: that deep. Right now, politicians are courting suburban moms harder
- 10:49Speaker 1: than a guy who just realized he forgot his anniversary
- 10:51Speaker 1: and is standing in the gas station at eleven fifty
- 10:53Speaker 1: eight pm looking at a half dead orchid like damn.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Maybe she will appreciate it. That's the role right now
- 11:00Speaker 1: of politics and women, and I'm guaranteeing you it is
- 11:03Speaker 1: going to come to a head.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Let us move on segment two, the heavy hitter candidates.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Now, as I love to say, a hi, this is
- 11:13Speaker 1: just where the problem is starting for the Republican Party
- 11:16Speaker 1: right now, because we aren't just talking about women from
- 11:18Speaker 1: outside the room. Those outside the room are already poised
- 11:21Speaker 1: to make their voices her via the ballot box. But
- 11:23Speaker 1: now let's look into the inside of the room, the
- 11:26Speaker 1: top of the ticket. We aren't just talking about women
- 11:28Speaker 1: as voters anymore. They are the ones holding the microphones
- 11:32Speaker 1: and running the campaigns as well. Let's look at the
- 11:34Speaker 1: blue bench on the Democrat side, governors like Gretchen Whitmer,
- 11:38Speaker 1: who I like a great deal, little miss get ish done,
- 11:42Speaker 1: and it just so happens that she's kind of sexy.
- 11:44Speaker 1: That may sound sexist, but the obvious is not just
- 11:48Speaker 1: gonna be missed because it's politically incorrect. Gretchen Whitmer is
- 11:51Speaker 1: just a little sexy out here. She's building a massive
- 11:55Speaker 1: national profile. She's standing alongside former nominees like Kamala Harris
- 12:00Speaker 1: as the party's future heavyweights. Now, how do I feel
- 12:03Speaker 1: about Kamala Harris running again? I don't know. And I
- 12:08Speaker 1: am on the record as saying that Kamala Harris is
- 12:10Speaker 1: my political crush. I have an image of Kamala Harris
- 12:13Speaker 1: in my office actually too, I've got a painting on
- 12:15Speaker 1: her with her saying I'm speaking. That's my favorite phrase
- 12:18Speaker 1: and it's one of my favorite paintings. Also have an
- 12:21Speaker 1: image of her as Captain America with that or Captain
- 12:24Speaker 1: s America with that tight little Captain America bodysuit on
- 12:28Speaker 1: with the shield, and I gotta tell you it's one
- 12:30Speaker 1: of my favorite images of Kamala Harris. But be that
- 12:32Speaker 1: as it may, is it a good idea for her
- 12:35Speaker 1: to run again? I don't know. I think she did
- 12:38Speaker 1: a decent job of making her platform known at the time,
- 12:42Speaker 1: but this was her achilles heel, and I said this
- 12:44Speaker 1: after the fact and not after the fact. If you've
- 12:46Speaker 1: been following me, I said this during the flow of
- 12:49Speaker 1: the campaign where she struggled was making a clean break
- 12:52Speaker 1: between herself and President body. That was the sticking point.
- 12:58Speaker 1: It's one of the reasons why when I did the
- 13:00Speaker 1: on JD. Vance. Although I have no intentions on voter
- 13:03Speaker 1: for JD. Vans, as you can hear in this episode,
- 13:05Speaker 1: even I at least gave him his kudos for the
- 13:09Speaker 1: fact that he is in a very stealthy, in a
- 13:12Speaker 1: very sneaky and calculating way, trying to make distance between
- 13:16Speaker 1: him and President Trump as he's sitting next to President Trump.
- 13:19Speaker 1: And it is very smooth because you have somebody who's
- 13:22Speaker 1: hyper protective of his ego and is always looking for
- 13:26Speaker 1: people that are not loyal to his massive image. I
- 13:30Speaker 1: do not like disloyalty, and still JD. Vance is trying
- 13:35Speaker 1: to figure it out. I don't think Kamala Harris had
- 13:38Speaker 1: that master. She couldn't figure out how to responsibly and
- 13:43Speaker 1: respectfully throw her boss under the bus because then he
- 13:47Speaker 1: had a crisis going on when they were saying he
- 13:50Speaker 1: was no longer mentally incompetent. They weren't wrong, they weren't lying.
- 13:54Speaker 1: This is what I'm saying about being a republicrat. Nobody
- 13:57Speaker 1: just because you're a Democrat, you had no business ride
- 14:00Speaker 1: that until the wheels fall up door. No, he's fine,
- 14:02Speaker 1: he's fine. He's not fine. We knew that before the
- 14:05Speaker 1: voice had started to rise. Somebody from the inside when
- 14:08Speaker 1: he said he was going to run again, should have
- 14:10Speaker 1: talked him off that ledge. And we did what some
- 14:13Speaker 1: of Trump's folks did. Well, I won't say we the
- 14:15Speaker 1: Democrats did what some of Trump's folks do. They just
- 14:18Speaker 1: let that thing right because they wanted to hold onto
- 14:20Speaker 1: the power, and they let him run again. I don't
- 14:22Speaker 1: think anybody from inside that party just grabbed the bull
- 14:25Speaker 1: by the horns and said, now, let's just wrestle this
- 14:27Speaker 1: thing down. It is what it is. I know he
- 14:30Speaker 1: was upset because Kamala had not Kamala Harris, but Hillary
- 14:33Speaker 1: Clinton made him via you know, President Obama made him
- 14:38Speaker 1: wait his turn that first time around, and President to
- 14:41Speaker 1: think about this if y'all forgot this, when President Obama
- 14:44Speaker 1: was done with his two turns, by all intents and purposes.
- 14:47Speaker 1: That should have been Joe Biden running for president, but
- 14:51Speaker 1: it was Hillary Clinton and Brock pulled him off to
- 14:53Speaker 1: the start down. Now, Joe, I know that you've been
- 14:56Speaker 1: all lot, but now we've got to think about it
- 15:00Speaker 1: the party and Tillry's turn. Hiller's been around for quite
- 15:03Speaker 1: some time and she's been really good to me. And
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm Michelle, and I just think you gotta wait. And
- 15:08Speaker 1: Joe didn't like that, nor should he have. And Joe
- 15:12Speaker 1: was kind of rebelling, like this, dude, how you just
- 15:15Speaker 1: gonna sit me on the bench like this? All these
- 15:16Speaker 1: years I've been so I've been good to you, Obama.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I've given you my Gravi Taz as a vice president,
- 15:21Speaker 1: and I've given you my my blue collar image and
- 15:24Speaker 1: all I'm dumb Joe. For goodness, sex has was poppy cock.
- 15:28Speaker 1: It didn't go well. And so when they tried to
- 15:31Speaker 1: sit him down, and I know the man was old
- 15:33Speaker 1: and all of that good stuff, Joe remembered that. I'm
- 15:36Speaker 1: convinced that even though he was not one hundred percent there,
- 15:40Speaker 1: he was enough there to remember this. No, now they've
- 15:43Speaker 1: done this to me once, they've made me sit down,
- 15:45Speaker 1: it's my time, and I'm gonna push forward. Nobody had
- 15:48Speaker 1: the gravitiz within his party to say nah. So all
- 15:53Speaker 1: that to say, how do I feel about Kamala Hair's
- 15:55Speaker 1: running again? I don't think she one hundred percent got
- 15:58Speaker 1: an opportunity to prove herself. You saw traces of it though,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and now without that barrier, maybe it is her time.
- 16:05Speaker 1: We shall see. Let's talk about the heavy hitter candidates
- 16:08Speaker 1: on the Red bench. Now over on the Republican side,
- 16:10Speaker 1: women hold massive populist and traditional power. You've got governors
- 16:14Speaker 1: like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Just damn, just damn. I'm having
- 16:26Speaker 1: a hard time figuring out exactly what I want to
- 16:28Speaker 1: say about Sarah Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I mean, Sarah Huckaby
- 16:33Speaker 1: Sanders doesn't necessarily look the part I'm Trump. Sorry, you know,
- 16:37Speaker 1: but she's a player, and we got to mention it
- 16:40Speaker 1: for what it is. Influential voices like Nicki Haley. Nicki Haley,
- 16:43Speaker 1: she's another one who has the look, gotta keep it
- 16:47Speaker 1: a thousand and she's a smart one. We shall see
- 16:50Speaker 1: how that plays out. And organizational powerhouses like Laura Trump
- 16:55Speaker 1: steering the ship. Laura Trump fell into the family and
- 17:01Speaker 1: you know, Donald Trump has this habit of approving of
- 17:05Speaker 1: the wives for his sons that he himself wants to
- 17:08Speaker 1: sleep with, and I'm sure he's trying it behind their backs.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Just saying my personal opinion, not that of the briefing
- 17:15Speaker 1: room a lily broadcasting. That is just my personal opinion.
- 17:19Speaker 1: There's no to me that, by no coincidence, these wives
- 17:23Speaker 1: of these sons are women that Trump would put in
- 17:26Speaker 1: his hair, and I think that has led to the
- 17:28Speaker 1: rise of Lord Trump. I hate to say it like that,
- 17:31Speaker 1: but it is what it is, and we got to
- 17:32Speaker 1: keep it a thousand here on the briefing room. We
- 17:34Speaker 1: finally have women dominating both sides of the aisle, and
- 17:37Speaker 1: this is a good thing. This is progress, but let's
- 17:41Speaker 1: keep it a thousand again. Women entering leadership right now
- 17:45Speaker 1: it's like being handed the keys to a minivan after
- 17:47Speaker 1: the engine has already caught fire and the teenagers in
- 17:49Speaker 1: the back are throwing fireworks at each other. The country
- 17:53Speaker 1: is completely chaotic, and the guys are basically like, hey,
- 17:56Speaker 1: you want to drive for a bit, honey, my hands
- 17:58Speaker 1: are sweaty, and women over here like fine, move over,
- 18:01Speaker 1: let me fix this before you kill us. All. That's
- 18:03Speaker 1: the only time men want to give up the wheel
- 18:06Speaker 1: is when things are falling apart. And unfortunately it is
- 18:09Speaker 1: the America that any of these women, if elected, would inherit.
- 18:13Speaker 1: We'll be right back after this message from our sponsor,
- 18:16Speaker 1: because somehow the bills have got to be paid on
- 18:19Speaker 1: blacks s Media.

- 18:55Speaker 2: Segment three, The Ground Game Warriors.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Is exactly the best tider for these ladies. The Ground
- 19:02Speaker 1: Game Warriors. We're talking about grassroots mobilization because if you
- 19:06Speaker 1: think about elections then I went on television debates anymore,
- 19:09Speaker 1: they're won by the people knocking on doors in the
- 19:12Speaker 1: pouring rain. And for those of you that have never
- 19:14Speaker 1: done it, I've done this for Congressman David Scott, may
- 19:16Speaker 1: he rest in peace during his first congressional bid. I've
- 19:19Speaker 1: done this for Shirley Franklin when she was first trying
- 19:21Speaker 1: to become mayor of Atlanta, and she went on to
- 19:23Speaker 1: do that. I ran county councilman's Andrea Horton's campaign back
- 19:28Speaker 1: in the day. He's now turned out he was and
- 19:30Speaker 1: is the first person of color to ever sit on
- 19:33Speaker 1: county council. Knocked on a ton of doors for that.
- 19:36Speaker 1: You'd be surprised when you knock on somebody's door and
- 19:39Speaker 1: have a face to face organic conversation, even if they
- 19:42Speaker 1: think they have they minds made up, their minds made
- 19:45Speaker 1: up about a candidate. You can find in roads with
- 19:49Speaker 1: just a one to two minute conversation. If you're skilled
- 19:51Speaker 1: at what you do, you can even walk up to
- 19:53Speaker 1: somebody's door who have never heard of a candidate and
- 19:56Speaker 1: walk away with a yard sign in that yard if
- 19:58Speaker 1: you know how to spin your your points correctly. That's
- 20:02Speaker 1: why it's the undecided voter that is now the holy grail.
- 20:06Speaker 1: It used to be the super voter. I always vote Democrat,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I always vote Republican. Well, with the rise of Trump.
- 20:13Speaker 1: That is no longer an option. Well, that's no longer
- 20:17Speaker 1: a guarantee. I say it like that, no longer a
- 20:19Speaker 1: silver bullet. Nowadays, the undecided voter there are a dime
- 20:23Speaker 1: a dozen. And when you find one of them at
- 20:25Speaker 1: the door, even if they voted Republican the last fifty times,
- 20:28Speaker 1: you got a shot. Young female voters. They're the number
- 20:32Speaker 1: one target for mobilization. If a campaign can get gen
- 20:35Speaker 1: Z a millennial women to turn out and high numbers, man,
- 20:38Speaker 1: it is game over for the opposition. And I guarantee
- 20:43Speaker 1: that they're operatives that are doing their homework. They know this.
- 20:46Speaker 1: The backbone of volunteering is what these women are. Look
- 20:48Speaker 1: at any campaign office, you look at the phone bank,
- 20:51Speaker 1: look at local organizing committee. It's overwhelmingly powered by female
- 20:56Speaker 1: volunteers doing the actual, unglamorous, unset see grunt work of
- 21:01Speaker 1: democracy stuff. The men think they're too good for stuff. Men, Well,
- 21:05Speaker 1: I want a leadership role. This is leadership. Calling somebody
- 21:07Speaker 1: and going to bat for your campaign. That is leadership.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Greeting people at the door when they come to the
- 21:12Speaker 1: campaign office, that is leadership. Women represent and understand that
- 21:17Speaker 1: although they're also leading out front. Two and they're also candidates.
- 21:20Speaker 1: We're pointing all of that out, But women understand the
- 21:24Speaker 1: holistic nature of a political campaign, is the point that
- 21:27Speaker 1: I'm making. They know it's not just being the candidate
- 21:30Speaker 1: and the candidates handler. It's not just being being it's
- 21:33Speaker 1: not just being the person next to the highlight person.
- 21:36Speaker 1: It's also all these other things. And women are the
- 21:39Speaker 1: one demographic who will do all of the things that
- 21:43Speaker 1: it takes to get this campaign over the finish line.
- 21:46Speaker 1: And politicians understand that. And do you know why campaigns
- 21:50Speaker 1: depend on women Because men are terrible at organizing things.
- 21:53Speaker 1: That may sound sexist, but it's true. If men ran
- 21:56Speaker 1: a political campaign, the phone banks would be just three
- 21:59Speaker 1: guys eating cod piece of arguing about whether a hot
- 22:01Speaker 1: dog is a sandwich, and forgetting to actually call the
- 22:04Speaker 1: damn voters. Women get ish done. They'll organize a statewide
- 22:09Speaker 1: voter drive. They pack healthy lunches for fifty volunteers. They
- 22:13Speaker 1: fix the office printer using nothing but a bobby pin
- 22:16Speaker 1: and sheer will power. Women get ish done. Which is
- 22:19Speaker 1: why I don't care if it's a church with the
- 22:21Speaker 1: pastor if it's the politician, if it's the high power CEO.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Usually there's some women right beside them that know exactly
- 22:30Speaker 1: what they're doing, and more often than not, they are
- 22:32Speaker 1: the reasons why this hot shot pastor politician or CEO
- 22:36Speaker 1: looks so damn good because she's running the show next
- 22:39Speaker 1: to them or from behind. And that is a common tale.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Politics is the best example of that. And trust me
- 22:46Speaker 1: when I tell you that is going to be the
- 22:49Speaker 1: deciding factor.
- 22:51Speaker 2: The big why behind the power.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Now I've given you all of that to say this,
- 22:56Speaker 1: This one question encapsulates the entire episode. Why do women
- 23:00Speaker 1: hold all the cards? It comes down to the issues, folks,
- 23:04Speaker 1: in a post Row landscape, Reproductive autonomy is not just
- 23:08Speaker 1: a political talking point. This is an electoral earthquake that
- 23:12Speaker 1: consistently drives massive female turnout. And this administration has not
- 23:18Speaker 1: been friendly on this conversation. And now that has JD
- 23:20Speaker 1: advanced by his opinions. This is the one part of
- 23:23Speaker 1: the way Trump has been moving that I'm sure JD's
- 23:25Speaker 1: been in the background, you know, putting his fingers together
- 23:28Speaker 1: like he's some criminal mastermind, like yes, yes, we control
- 23:32Speaker 1: those reproductive rights. That is exactly who he is. Don't
- 23:36Speaker 1: forget it. The kitchen table economics. That's another reason women
- 23:40Speaker 1: are often the primary managers of household budgets. I don't
- 23:44Speaker 1: care how much big talk your friends give you over
- 23:45Speaker 1: the bar, over a beer at the bar. I mean
- 23:48Speaker 1: when inflation hits childcare groceries and healthcare premiums, they feel
- 23:52Speaker 1: it instantly and vote accordingly. And they're the ones making
- 23:55Speaker 1: these decisions at home, These husbands of our making all
- 23:58Speaker 1: this big talk to their friends. Man, I wish my
- 24:00Speaker 1: wife would. I'm going to buy this, and I don't
- 24:02Speaker 1: give a damn what she say. Yeah, go home and
- 24:04Speaker 1: try it. Eighty percent of y'all ain't getting away with
- 24:06Speaker 1: it because you ain't got it like that. The very
- 24:08Speaker 1: rich men may have it like that because they bringing
- 24:10Speaker 1: home all to bacon. The average nine to five husband,
- 24:13Speaker 1: whose wife is also out there bringing home the bacon,
- 24:16Speaker 1: she's keeping the books, Trust me what I tell you. Listen, politicians,
- 24:21Speaker 1: they keep acting surprised when healthcare and reproductive rights flip elections.
- 24:25Speaker 1: They're shocked, Wow, we took away a fundamental right, and
- 24:28Speaker 1: suddenly these women is mad. Why they't so mad?
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yet?
- 24:30Speaker 1: They't mad? That's how rights work. You can't just take
- 24:34Speaker 1: away the buffet and expect people to be happy. With
- 24:36Speaker 1: the complimentary ment. They want the buffet back. They had choice,
- 24:42Speaker 1: that's what they want. Women are looking at the economy
- 24:44Speaker 1: and healthcare and saying, we're managing the budget, we're managing
- 24:47Speaker 1: the family, and now we have to manage your incompetent
- 24:50Speaker 1: assts too. That's obvious, and we're willing to do that. No,
- 24:53Speaker 1: let me take that back. Not just willing, we want
- 24:56Speaker 1: to do that. And so bottom line, if you want
- 24:59Speaker 1: to win the wife house, you gotta stop looking at
- 25:01Speaker 1: the polls and start listening to the women in the room.
- 25:04Speaker 1: We're talking about your women, not some women out there,
- 25:07Speaker 1: because you're thinking, well, why my woman's not that smart,
- 25:09Speaker 1: My woman's not going to figure this out, and blah
- 25:11Speaker 1: blah blah blah. And I'm not trying to be facetious.
- 25:14Speaker 1: We tend to look at all these other households and
- 25:16Speaker 1: all these other power women out there, and you look
- 25:18Speaker 1: at your wife, even if she's quiet, and you're saying
- 25:20Speaker 1: to yourself, well, her opinion doesn't matter. She's not the
- 25:22Speaker 1: one making all the decisions. Oh yes she is. These
- 25:25Speaker 1: aggregated voices of everyday moms that are team moms for
- 25:29Speaker 1: these coach these kids teams that you coach. They're the
- 25:32Speaker 1: ones that keep you organized when you're working for yourself
- 25:35Speaker 1: or working for the office. They are all around you.
- 25:37Speaker 1: You need to start listening to them. They aren't just
- 25:40Speaker 1: participating in the next election, they're running it. And don't
- 25:43Speaker 1: you ever forget it. Well, folks, it's all I got
- 25:47Speaker 1: for you. That's it. It's like the al Pacino speech
- 25:51Speaker 1: in any given Sunday, It's the sixth centius in front
- 25:53Speaker 1: of your face. That's all it was. That's all it
- 25:56Speaker 1: ever was. All I'm asking you to do is considerate
- 25:59Speaker 1: you can take. They got to leave it. But I
- 26:01Speaker 1: am telling you, if you want to win the White House,
- 26:04Speaker 1: you got to start looking at these women around you.
- 26:07Speaker 1: That's our breakdown for today on the briefing room. Huge

- 26:37Speaker 1: got a call back in my man George Morgan aka
- 26:40Speaker 1: Buddy Love, and I'm asking them to come back and

- 26:45Speaker 1: don't you agree, Buddy Love, kick that funky joint. We'll
