- 0:36Speaker 2: of footing, and now here's Jen.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to this episode of Cats
- 0:42Speaker 3: and Pudding. And today I have a great guest, mister
- 0:46Speaker 3: Stevie d. He is a rapper and he is a
- 0:48Speaker 3: very interesting rapper because he's part of the LGBTQ community.
- 0:52Speaker 2: So this is exciting.
- 0:54Speaker 3: And I love I love your story and when I
- 0:57Speaker 3: was researching you, I thought it was very interesting how
- 1:01Speaker 3: you came about.
- 1:02Speaker 2: So get into it.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I love you to tell me how this whole thing started,
- 1:05Speaker 3: How this whole thing erupted.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, how it all started? Where do I
- 1:11Speaker 4: even start? I mean, I'm actually kind of new to
- 1:13Speaker 4: the music industry. I've been doing it for about a
- 1:15Speaker 4: year and a half. Really just fell in love with
- 1:18Speaker 4: the production and doing music videos and the rap game
- 1:24Speaker 4: and just seeing people come up from the rap game
- 1:25Speaker 4: and just saying like I could do better.
- 1:28Speaker 3: So, well, what inspired you to become a rapper?
- 1:32Speaker 2: How did this?
- 1:33Speaker 3: I mean, if you only started a year and a
- 1:35Speaker 3: half ago, how did it come to pass?
- 1:37Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:37Speaker 4: I honestly, I just seen so many people's lives changing
- 1:39Speaker 4: overnight and figuring what I've always wanted to do something
- 1:43Speaker 4: like this. I've always wanted to be in the music industry,
- 1:45Speaker 4: but I figured when I give it a shot, I've
- 1:47Speaker 4: seen people's lives change overnight, and I want mine too,
- 1:51Speaker 4: so and I figured I could do better. So instead
- 1:54Speaker 4: of talking shit on the internet or whatever people do nowadays,
- 1:56Speaker 4: I went out and I did better.
- 1:57Speaker 2: So you used to talk shit on the internet one
- 2:00Speaker 2: of those.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I mean, I was never a troll like that, but
- 2:02Speaker 4: I mean I'll talk if I need to.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Well, everybody does.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I don't think it's I don't think it's it's relegated
- 2:08Speaker 3: people have.
- 2:10Speaker 4: I don't give like unwarranted opinions though, like unless someone
- 2:13Speaker 4: comes from.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Me right, So you're not like a person who's looking
- 2:16Speaker 3: for it.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I mean I'm not like that either.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I don't directly go to look for a problem if
- 2:21Speaker 3: I see something that bothers me. But it takes a
- 2:23Speaker 3: lot for me to actually comment though.
- 2:25Speaker 2: It takes me to really get into it. People.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Some people just come on and they just right and
- 2:31Speaker 3: it's usually the most miserable people. So like, you have
- 2:35Speaker 3: nothing better to do than to troll my page in
- 2:37Speaker 3: my comments than.
- 2:38Speaker 2: God bless your baby.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Right. So you so you had this inspiration that you
- 2:43Speaker 3: wanted to but what did you know you were going
- 2:46Speaker 3: to be a good rapper?
- 2:47Speaker 2: Did you know? Like, I mean my first.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Poetry before or the Yeah, I mean I wrote poetry
- 2:52Speaker 4: since I was five. I never really did anything about
- 2:54Speaker 4: it because you know, people say, it's like if you're
- 2:56Speaker 4: living in a fantasy world trying to be a rapper
- 3:00Speaker 4: in the music industry. It's very rough and it's hard
- 3:02Speaker 4: to get started. But yeah, I mean when I first
- 3:06Speaker 4: got in the studio, I was like and I heard myself.
- 3:08Speaker 4: I was like, oh yeah, I got it.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah, And do how what is like your genre of rap? Like,
- 3:15Speaker 3: is it is it hardcore?
- 3:17Speaker 2: Is it?
- 3:18Speaker 4: I mean I do a lot of drill stuff, but
- 3:20Speaker 4: little smith rap, you know what I mean. No, I
- 3:22Speaker 4: mean I do a lot of drill. I'm kind of
- 3:25Speaker 4: moving more into like the hip hop pop and like
- 3:27Speaker 4: performance stage. Like when I first started rapping, it was
- 3:30Speaker 4: like very harsh and uh kind of vulgar. But I've
- 3:35Speaker 4: kind of moved more into like mainstream and being more marketable.
- 3:40Speaker 2: M hmm.
- 3:41Speaker 4: But you know, I have different sides to me, and
- 3:44Speaker 4: that's okay.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Well, what's your fa how what's your favorite style? Like,
- 3:48Speaker 3: is it more hard care your favorite style?
- 3:51Speaker 4: I don't know. I like both. I really like how
- 3:53Speaker 4: I'm evolving as an artist too, like when it comes
- 3:55Speaker 4: to more pop kind of or hip hop. So, but
- 4:01Speaker 4: I like both. I like both sides to it.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Who's your favorite artist? Sorry yourself?
- 4:09Speaker 4: I really you know, I'm from North Carolina originally, So
- 4:11Speaker 4: I really like Cole Okay, he grew up like thirty
- 4:14Speaker 4: minutes away from me, so and I think he's really
- 4:17Speaker 4: lyrically creative and intelligent.
- 4:20Speaker 3: So and you like more inspirational rappers because like there's
- 4:24Speaker 3: there's a lot of rappers today. I feel like the
- 4:26Speaker 3: newer rappers, Like I mean, I'm from the generation of
- 4:29Speaker 3: you know big. You know, I'm that he was a poet,
- 4:33Speaker 3: you know, I mean I think I think that.
- 4:35Speaker 2: You know, I love obviously, I used to love Diddy
- 4:40Speaker 2: when we were younger too.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I mean, you know, I want to talk about him
- 4:43Speaker 3: right now. But you know, these were different. There's rappers,
- 4:46Speaker 3: you know, Machavelli, you know, uh, they were great rappers.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I feel like the ones today it's more, it's just
- 4:52Speaker 3: everything is about drugs, about this about you know. I
- 4:56Speaker 3: like to hear the poet. I like to hear the poet.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I like to hear the insight what they feel like,
- 5:00Speaker 3: rapping about something important, rapping about something they're going through,
- 5:04Speaker 3: rapping about a situation, you know.
- 5:06Speaker 4: And if I'm very sexualized, yeah, I mean.
- 5:09Speaker 3: It's listen, I have no problem with sex, but I
- 5:11Speaker 3: think it's it's it's like too much of the same thing,
- 5:14Speaker 3: you know, Like you know, that's what I feel like.
- 5:16Speaker 2: It is that I feel like it's just.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Too mainstream that we need we need some poets back then.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and you know, meanings and stuff.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I feel like your I feel like your yours more poetry,
- 5:28Speaker 3: Like it's more it's yeah, I feel like it's more
- 5:32Speaker 3: coming from within it's not like it's it's substantial that.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I guess that's the word I'm looking for.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Right, Do you feel that way about your about your
- 5:41Speaker 3: because that's but that's good.
- 5:43Speaker 2: That's what we need these days. The kids need it.
- 5:45Speaker 3: The kids need some real instead of being drones and
- 5:49Speaker 3: just being like you know, I.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Know, it's it's crazy how much sex sells. Yeah, in
- 5:55Speaker 4: industry too.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Do you feel do you are you trying to do
- 6:00Speaker 3: you feel that you want to not get into that
- 6:02Speaker 3: at all or just want to kind of shy away
- 6:04Speaker 3: from it that I mean, I know obviously in mainstream
- 6:07Speaker 3: you have to kind of.
- 6:08Speaker 4: D Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I think about
- 6:11Speaker 4: that a lot. That's a good question, because I don't.
- 6:14Speaker 4: I kind of wanted to keep, like the music in
- 6:16Speaker 4: my personal life and sexuality and all that kind of
- 6:19Speaker 4: separate from the music. I wanted my music to be
- 6:21Speaker 4: more like relatable, as like third party kind of thing
- 6:25Speaker 4: where anyone can kind of relate to it. So that's
- 6:27Speaker 4: what I kind of do with my music. I don't
- 6:29Speaker 4: really say, like if you listen to my music, there's
- 6:30Speaker 4: no she whatever. It's kind of like third person so
- 6:35Speaker 4: more people can relate. But I don't really want to
- 6:38Speaker 4: get to sexual and the music.
- 6:43Speaker 2: How do you feel?
- 6:44Speaker 3: How do you feel like when you when you listen
- 6:47Speaker 3: to other artists, you feel like that that is something
- 6:50Speaker 3: that that you that you don't agree with what they're doing.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Like the newer artists now that are coming out with
- 6:56Speaker 3: all this, I mean, to.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Each their own and if that's what's selling for them
- 7:02Speaker 4: and that's what's making their money, then I get it.
- 7:05Speaker 4: That's just not how I want.
- 7:06Speaker 3: To That's not how you want to be remembered, because
- 7:10Speaker 3: it is forever, right, you know that right now today
- 7:14Speaker 3: everything is forever, because everything is not just now that
- 7:17Speaker 3: if you're doing, if not just do your music, but
- 7:18Speaker 3: anything you say, anything you do is forever on the internet,
- 7:22Speaker 3: on social media, right. You can't take some things back,
- 7:25Speaker 3: especially if it's out there. So you want something that's
- 7:28Speaker 3: going to be sustainable, that's what you're saying, and.
- 7:31Speaker 4: That's more marketable to a wide range of audiences and
- 7:35Speaker 4: not just one group, you know what I mean?
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, how do your parents feel?
- 7:43Speaker 4: They at first were a little bit shocked and kind
- 7:45Speaker 4: of it was like what are you doing? But now
- 7:47Speaker 4: that they've kind of heard my new stuff and where
- 7:49Speaker 4: I'm going with it. They're really supportive and really nice
- 7:52Speaker 4: about it.
- 7:53Speaker 2: So what were you doing before this?
- 7:56Speaker 4: I was I moved up to Las Vegas as a
- 7:59Speaker 4: flet attendant. I was doing that for a few years,
- 8:01Speaker 4: and that's just kind of gigs modeled for brands like Mali,
- 8:07Speaker 4: jim Man's Warehouse, Sunglass Hut was doing stuff like that.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Still signs an agency in Vegas, but really kind of
- 8:15Speaker 4: moving away from that and more into the music. I
- 8:17Speaker 4: feel like it fits me better.
- 8:19Speaker 2: What airline did you work for? That's it?
- 8:21Speaker 4: So you Yeah, I can't say because I still am
- 8:25Speaker 4: employed there and I need those benefits.
- 8:27Speaker 5: So yeah, but just imagine, oh boy, yeah, I can't
- 8:34Speaker 5: listen listen there's some are you Are you a nice
- 8:38Speaker 5: flight attendant?
- 8:38Speaker 2: Are you?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Yeah? I lead people alone.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 8:42Speaker 4: I don't bother nobody.
- 8:44Speaker 2: How do you deal with some people sometimes? Though?
- 8:46Speaker 3: I mean, it's gotta be I see what they go
- 8:48Speaker 3: through with Like you get these like these obnoxious kids
- 8:51Speaker 3: on the plane and the parents don't control them and
- 8:54Speaker 3: they climbing all of everything.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Don't just want to go over and say, look, could
- 8:58Speaker 2: you shut your kid off all the time all the
- 9:01Speaker 2: stop it?
- 9:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean there's really not much you could do.
- 9:07Speaker 2: What was the craziest thing that ever happened to? How
- 9:13Speaker 2: is that? Dealing with people? They must have been like nobody.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Because it's like he wants to do all this stuff
- 9:18Speaker 4: and then it was no hazard pay and it's like
- 9:20Speaker 4: you want me to wear the mask the whole time.
- 9:21Speaker 4: I can't even breathe, And it was it was just
- 9:23Speaker 4: a mess, the whole thing.
- 9:24Speaker 3: And I bet even just dealing with the people on
- 9:26Speaker 3: the plane holding it to the masks.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Having germophobe attacks. That's why I'm ready to I'm ready to.
- 9:34Speaker 3: The ononder why you want to still wrapping? Ye're rapping
- 9:37Speaker 3: about your flight?
- 9:38Speaker 4: No, everyone said that it is so funny.
- 9:44Speaker 3: But I'm sure you've met a lot of interesting people
- 9:46Speaker 3: doing that though too, for sure.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Right yeah, I don't think it. I think without it,
- 9:51Speaker 4: I wouldn't be where I'm headed today.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Well, you know what when people, I mean, I know
- 9:56Speaker 3: with me, I'm I mean I do with my practice,
- 9:59Speaker 3: I have a a patience.
- 10:00Speaker 2: So the more I feel like the more people I meet.
- 10:02Speaker 3: You know, when you connect with people and when you
- 10:04Speaker 3: talk to them, it just opens up, you.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Know, a whole new world today.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Say look at that you've met me. When I met you,
- 10:13Speaker 3: I got lucky to be hit it off. And so
- 10:17Speaker 3: then after so you were flight attendant and then it
- 10:20Speaker 3: just it just kind of erupted.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Basically basically like nobody walks up.
- 10:26Speaker 3: To you and say, hey, I think you should become
- 10:28Speaker 3: a rapper, Like.
- 10:29Speaker 4: You know, this all came like within me, you know, and.
- 10:34Speaker 2: You just started just said let me let me try
- 10:36Speaker 2: it out. Like what was the what was the first
- 10:38Speaker 2: thing that came to you?
- 10:39Speaker 3: And whnd when you when you decided that I wanted
- 10:41Speaker 3: to be a rapper, Like what was the inspiration?
- 10:43Speaker 2: What was it?
- 10:43Speaker 3: I mean like it has been something that turned the
- 10:46Speaker 3: line on for you.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I just seen other people trying to
- 10:50Speaker 4: do it, and I just knew I could do better,
- 10:52Speaker 4: like within myself. And I went to the studio and
- 10:56Speaker 4: I liked what I heard and I put it out
- 10:58Speaker 4: and I said fuck it?
- 10:59Speaker 2: And did you did you? Did? You started at home first?
- 11:04Speaker 4: I mean you didn't just like watch No, I literally
- 11:07Speaker 4: did just want.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Just said I want to come just because my friend.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Was doing it and she knew some guy and I
- 11:13Speaker 4: was just like get in there.
- 11:16Speaker 2: And you did it? Can you give us a little tidbit?
- 11:19Speaker 2: Can you give us a little some some.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Everyone asked me, I told you I want to be
- 11:25Speaker 4: prepared for this, but you're gonna have to just check
- 11:28Speaker 4: out the album.
- 11:28Speaker 2: All right, all right, maybe we'll give me a little
- 11:31Speaker 2: tibit when before before we go, I don't want to
- 11:34Speaker 2: put you on the spot, but I kind of didn't
- 11:35Speaker 2: want to put you on the spot. That's okay, I
- 11:38Speaker 2: know you do. What about how how was.
- 11:42Speaker 3: This change like your your brothers and sisters and friends,
- 11:46Speaker 3: did it? Like did that that changed your relationships with
- 11:48Speaker 3: them that you decided to move on and do this
- 11:51Speaker 3: type of.
- 11:55Speaker 2: You know, not really type of path.
- 11:59Speaker 4: I feel like the real ones stuck around. But I
- 12:03Speaker 4: think I did confuse some people at first where I came,
- 12:07Speaker 4: like at first with the rap because even like my
- 12:11Speaker 4: first remix I dropped, it was kind of like pretty vulgar?
- 12:18Speaker 2: Was it?
- 12:18Speaker 3: That was that what bothered them was a vulgarity or
- 12:21Speaker 3: that you just wanted to do.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I think some if you really know me, you know,
- 12:26Speaker 4: like the different sides to me, and I think for
- 12:28Speaker 4: some people who don't know me, it comes across like
- 12:31Speaker 4: not as genuine or like unauthentic. But like I could
- 12:36Speaker 4: see why because I came off right off the gate,
- 12:39Speaker 4: not doing any music, coming out at twenty nine, almost
- 12:42Speaker 4: thirty years old back then too dropping that so it.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Was like it kind of a shock, total shift from
- 12:49Speaker 2: your But but.
- 12:51Speaker 4: If you really knew me, you're like, oh, I get it,
- 12:53Speaker 4: and now you kind of see like my versatility as
- 12:55Speaker 4: an artist, especially with the album with like other stuff,
- 12:59Speaker 4: it kind of makes sense, you know.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Well, I mean I'm sitting here, you're very like, you know,
- 13:03Speaker 3: you're chill, you're cool, But I could see that there
- 13:07Speaker 3: is that other side of you, like I could now,
- 13:10Speaker 3: I could see that, and most people gotta worry about
- 13:12Speaker 3: Hawaii people. Those are the people who take their families
- 13:14Speaker 3: out with bullpeen hammers and kill the dog too. Now
- 13:18Speaker 3: it's so true. So like people like me, I let
- 13:21Speaker 3: it out. I scream, you know, boom boom. You know,
- 13:23Speaker 3: I'm very vocal, but I think it's the quiet ones
- 13:26Speaker 3: you gotta worry about.
- 13:26Speaker 2: But I could see that little streaking you.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I can see that little yeah people, Yeah, that's good.
- 13:35Speaker 3: But you're but you're you're good. You're a good person,
- 13:38Speaker 3: and I want to see your eyes. Let me see
- 13:40Speaker 3: your beautiful eyes. Let me see those, Wow, and you
- 13:44Speaker 3: cover them up with sunglasses. You should be showing off
- 13:47Speaker 3: those baby blues. You'll sell more albums that way. You
- 13:49Speaker 3: show it off those baby blue eyes. You stare into
- 13:52Speaker 3: that camera.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Look at them.
- 13:53Speaker 3: They're gorgeous. So nice with those your beautiful lips.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Yeah, seriously, thank you so much.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Well, it's true I speak the truth, so yeah, I do.
- 14:04Speaker 4: We need more truth seekers?
- 14:05Speaker 2: Do you know what?
- 14:06Speaker 3: I get a lot of ship to speak in the truth,
- 14:09Speaker 3: I really do.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I have a lot of shit and you.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Know why because with the people that when I say
- 14:13Speaker 3: things to people, you know when they get mad because
- 14:15Speaker 3: it's the truth.
- 14:15Speaker 2: That they don't want to. They don't want to they
- 14:17Speaker 2: don't want to hear it.
- 14:19Speaker 3: But you know what, then don't get me involved in
- 14:21Speaker 3: your shit and don't ask me for my opinion because
- 14:25Speaker 3: you're going to get my Yeah, and if you do
- 14:27Speaker 3: something stupid in front of me, I'm going to give
- 14:29Speaker 3: you my opinion.
- 14:30Speaker 4: For me too, and it's usually not pretty. Sometimes.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Yeah, people get mad hurts does.
- 14:39Speaker 4: I don't care if they do get mad at me? Honestly,
- 14:43Speaker 4: I just I'm not a mean personal about it. Like
- 14:46Speaker 4: if you ask me my opinion, I'll give it to
- 14:48Speaker 4: you straight, but I'm not someone like go out of
- 14:51Speaker 4: my way and like tell you something. You know what
- 14:53Speaker 4: I'm saying, because I feel like that there's a line
- 14:55Speaker 4: between being real and being mean to somebody.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Well, that's that's true, that's true, But I think you
- 15:03Speaker 3: can be construed. I mean, I know for me, I
- 15:06Speaker 3: don't want to be mean to people, but sometimes they
- 15:09Speaker 3: ask for it, and then because they're of what have
- 15:12Speaker 3: the behaving. But if you are somebody who speaks the truth,
- 15:17Speaker 3: I do you know.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Well you're being mean, Like I'm not. I'm not being mean,
- 15:20Speaker 2: I'm being honest.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Like like my friend, if I ask my friend something
- 15:24Speaker 3: like I would.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Appreciate my friend.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Well, like if I had a booger hanging out of
- 15:27Speaker 3: my nose, let's say my friend's not telling me that
- 15:30Speaker 3: it's there, I'd be like a friend who is gonna
- 15:31Speaker 3: say bog hanging.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Out of it because they're gonna you look stupid with exactly.
- 15:36Speaker 3: So to me that friend who doesn't tell me, it's like, well,
- 15:38Speaker 3: why are they not telling me?
- 15:39Speaker 2: Do they want me to look stupid?
- 15:40Speaker 3: I'd rather them say that to me, And even though
- 15:43Speaker 3: it makes you look stupid for a second, and you
- 15:45Speaker 3: have a boga hanging, and it's at least that were
- 15:46Speaker 3: honest to tell you that that that was what's going on,
- 15:49Speaker 3: you know, using that as well.
- 15:51Speaker 4: So what do you want to what do you want
- 15:53Speaker 4: to see? Think of me?
- 15:54Speaker 2: What do I think of you?
- 15:55Speaker 3: I think you're from from the vibes I'm getting for
- 15:58Speaker 3: you now, No, I think you're I think you're as
- 16:01Speaker 3: far as what you look.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Like or I mean just overall. Yeah, well for.
- 16:04Speaker 3: The for the last fifteen minutes that I know you,
- 16:07Speaker 3: I think you are. I think you are a pretty
- 16:10Speaker 3: genuine person. I think you you have a little anger
- 16:14Speaker 3: inside of you that you want to let out.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you're a little angry.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You think so a little bit about some stuff. Maybe
- 16:21Speaker 3: not about like this sub stuff serious nothing serious, but.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it's on the work. I've been in therapy. Amazing therapist.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Shout out to doctor Darcy Sterling. She's in New York.
- 16:33Speaker 4: She's amazing, she's working.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Actually, get her number.
- 16:35Speaker 4: She's worked with like poly d Aubrio da like she's
- 16:39Speaker 4: really good. So yeah, I've done a lot of work well,
- 16:42Speaker 4: and I'm proud to say that I don't you know,
- 16:43Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Who isn't that's a I have a life coach. I
- 16:46Speaker 2: love them.
- 16:47Speaker 3: And it's good to bounce bounce stuff off, ship off
- 16:49Speaker 3: of other people because they give you an outside of
- 16:53Speaker 3: the box.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Yeah, sometimes you just need another perspective.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Yeah, because they'll give you the if they're not in it,
- 16:58Speaker 3: they'll give you a better perspective and and you'll get
- 17:00Speaker 3: a better perspective of what's going on, because if somebody
- 17:03Speaker 3: is in it with you, it's very hard to step
- 17:05Speaker 3: out of it and look in.
- 17:07Speaker 4: And you have to be willing to look at yourself. Yes,
- 17:10Speaker 4: another person, that's true.
- 17:11Speaker 2: A lot of people don't like to look at themselves.
- 17:14Speaker 3: It's it's not easy to look at yourself, is it.
- 17:17Speaker 4: It's you got to look in the mirror and like
- 17:19Speaker 4: what you see inside and all.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Well, you you should like what you see in the barrier.
- 17:24Speaker 3: If you are beautiful, and like I said, just take
- 17:26Speaker 3: off those glances.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I want to see your beautiful eyes.
- 17:30Speaker 3: See now I can talk to you, now I can
- 17:34Speaker 3: see you.
- 17:34Speaker 2: See. I love this.
- 17:35Speaker 3: I love talking to somebody where I could see their
- 17:37Speaker 3: faces and I could.
- 17:38Speaker 2: See into that.
- 17:39Speaker 3: See you have such beautiful, like dreamy eyes, like you have.
- 17:43Speaker 2: A beautiful You have a beautiful Saul. See now that
- 17:45Speaker 2: I can.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Now you can see the cell.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yes, and you should always show them. They're beautiful.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 17:53Speaker 2: So what is is? You have an album out? Now?

- 18:02Speaker 4: Friends comes out August first. I'm really excited.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Oh did some friends get mad? Did they ask if
- 18:07Speaker 3: that's me?
- 18:07Speaker 2: Did you?
- 18:08Speaker 4: I didn't really care. I was just I really didn't
- 18:11Speaker 4: have time. There was just a lot going on in
- 18:14Speaker 4: my life and that's why I named it that.
- 18:19Speaker 3: And when and it's coming out August first? How many
- 18:22Speaker 3: are you going to be doing shows or Yeah?
- 18:24Speaker 4: I plan on doing some performances this fall, maybe at Pride,
- 18:28Speaker 4: and I have a few things in La coming up.
- 18:32Speaker 4: So I'm really excited and just pushing the album. And
- 18:36Speaker 4: here in the city.
- 18:37Speaker 2: That's exciting. And you live here in New York?
- 18:39Speaker 4: Now I just came from somewhere actually right before here. No,
- 18:42Speaker 4: I don't live in New York. I live in Las Vegas.
- 18:45Speaker 2: How do you like Vegas? It's like living on the sun.
- 18:47Speaker 2: It's like living on the fucking sun.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Literally, I mean I like it. Though there's always something
- 18:52Speaker 4: to do. The food's really good.
- 18:55Speaker 3: I mean it's it's always activity, that's for sure. But
- 18:58Speaker 3: I feel like Vegas is very real transient.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 19:01Speaker 3: I feel like it's like everybody there is like from
- 19:05Speaker 3: someplace else. There's like nobody's rooms in Vegas. Where, right
- 19:09Speaker 3: do you find that? Like it's like, yeah, there's nobody
- 19:13Speaker 3: really from there. It's not like in New York, like
- 19:15Speaker 3: where I'm from, Like I don't know anybody Vegas that
- 19:17Speaker 3: has somebody that's their friend for like since they're like ten.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Years old or something like that.
- 19:22Speaker 3: But it's probably like that in North Carolina because you
- 19:24Speaker 3: said you're from there, right, so it was very probably
- 19:26Speaker 3: very close knit and right where you were from.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Did you like North Carolina? Not really really?
- 19:34Speaker 4: I mean it's beautiful, Like there's some beautiful places, but
- 19:38Speaker 4: especially like for what I want to do, and it's
- 19:41Speaker 4: not the place for me, you know.
- 19:44Speaker 2: And the whole family still lives there.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Yeah, most of my family out there.
