- 0:01SPEAKER_01: If you felt lonely, isolated, disconnected, with an empty feeling inside and just yearning for more, knowing something is missing, then this podcast is for you.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: So here's your host, Joe Mitigan.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Hello and welcome to We.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Have you ever reached a point in your life when you realized you are becoming a completely different person, but you still had absolutely no idea what you were supposed to do with your life?
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: That's a strange feeling, isn't it?
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Because for many years we believed that if we could just heal our old emotional wounds, overcome our fears, and begin discovering who we really are, somehow everything else would just fall into place.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: We'd finally know what we wanted.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: We'd understand where we belonged.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: And we would discover our purpose.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: But what happens when we begin doing all of those things?
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: And instead of finding the answers we've been searching for, we discovered there's even more questions.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: What happens when we finally begin discovering who we are, but we still don't know what we're supposed to do with who we're becoming?
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: That's where I want to begin the conversation today.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Because I'm discovering something about emotional healing and spiritual growth that I never completely understood before.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the more we grow, the more lost we can begin to feel.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Not because we're going backwards, not because we're doing something wrong, but because the person we're becoming no longer fits the life we spent so many years creating.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Think about that for a moment.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: For much of our lives, we've made decisions based on who we believed we were supposed to be.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: We chose careers, built relationships, pursued success, and created an identity around what we believed would make us happy.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: But what happens when we begin healing the emotional wounds that helped create those original identities?
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: What happens when we stop needing the approval of others?
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: When we stop trying to prove we're good enough, when the things we once believed make us happy no longer seem that important.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Suddenly, the life we've known for years can begin feeling completely unfamiliar.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: And for me, quite honestly, that sometimes can be really frightening.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Because, to be honest, I truly know that feeling.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: The more I've healed emotionally, the more I've grown spiritually.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: And the more I've grown spiritually, the more my understanding of what I want for my life, quite honestly, has changed.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: My definition of success has changed.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: My relationships have changed.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Even the way I see myself and the world around me has changed.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: And I found myself asking a question I never expected to be asking at this stage of my life.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Now that I'm beginning to understand who I really am, what am I supposed to truly do with the rest of my life?
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Maybe you've been asking yourself that same question.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Maybe the career you've spent years building no longer feels meaningful.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Maybe your relationships are changing.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Maybe the dreams you once pursued no longer reflect the person you're becoming.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Or maybe you're simply beginning to recognize that the person you are today isn't the person you were five or ten years ago.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And somewhere deep inside, you feel that your life is supposed to mean something more.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: But you don't know exactly what that something is.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: I want you to consider this.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: What if feeling lost doesn't always mean we've lost our direction?
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: What if sometimes it means we've outgrown the direction we were following for years?
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, literally years.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: I believe discovering my purpose meant finding something specific I was supposed to accomplish, you know, a career, a mission, a goal.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Something I could point to and say, that's why I'm here.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: But I'm beginning to understand that perhaps purpose doesn't always begin with something we're supposed to do.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Maybe purpose begins with someone we're supposed to become.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: Someone who is more loving, someone who's more compassionate, more understanding, someone who isn't controlled by fear, someone who no longer needs the world to tell them they're enough.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: And maybe as we become that person, our purpose begins revealing itself through the way we live, through the people we love, through the relationships we heal, through the kindness we share, and through the difference we begin making in the world around us.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: Maybe we don't have to know exactly what we're supposed to do with our lives before our lives can begin having meaning.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: Maybe we're simply have to be willing to live differently.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: And that's where I believe faith becomes so important.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Because trusting our higher power when everything makes sense is one thing.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Trusting our higher power when we feel completely lost is something entirely different.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: It requires us to surrender the belief that we must have every answer, to release our need to control the future, and to believe that even when we cannot see where we're going, our lives can still be moving in a meaningful direction.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: Today I want to explore why emotional healing can sometimes leave us feeling really lost, why discovering who we really are doesn't automatically reveal our purpose and how spiritual growth can help us move even when our future remains really uncertain.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: Because maybe the question we need to ask ourselves isn't, what am I supposed to do with the rest of my life?
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: Maybe a better question is who is my higher power helping me to become?
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: And how can I begin living as that person today?
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Because maybe our purpose isn't waiting somewhere in the future for us to discover it.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Maybe it begins revealing itself through the person we're becoming right now.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: And perhaps every time we choose love instead of fear, compassion instead of judgment, and faith instead of control, we're already beginning to live our purpose.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Even when we still feel a little lost, even when we don't have all the answers, maybe we're not as lost as we think we are.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Maybe we're simply learning how to live as someone we've never been before.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: And perhaps, just perhaps, that's where discovering our purpose really begins.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: My name is Joe Mittig, and this is We.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Welcome everybody.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the We podcast around the world.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: It's a very, very amazing night here in Atlanta, Georgia.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Fall is definitely here.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: It's a lot colder.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: You know, we kind of go from 100 degrees to 70, and it gets pretty chilly.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: It gets pretty wet here sometimes in the fall, but it's a definite relief.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: So it's a great night to be here.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: It's late at night tonight, so I'm kind of excited to share.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: I've had an amazing past couple, several days.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: I've had some really powerful spiritual experiences I want to tell you about today.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: I've had some confusing times, which I'm gonna share some of those stories with you today.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: And we're gonna really talk about this whole concept of becoming a different person.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Like, what does it really mean?
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: And why can it be so confusing and why can it be so scary?
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: We're gonna talk about that.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: I've got a kind of an emotional flair to it.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna talk about why it always seems to be scary.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: We're gonna talk about the spiritual consequence, and then I'm gonna share some stories, some really kind of humbling stories, quite honestly, here about the Wii podcast, about myself, about my own confusions, and more just the lost.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: I've been feeling really lost lately.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna talk about that.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: I am, and I'm gonna talk about the whole idea of your external environment, regardless of how amazing it looks, it does not create your internal okayness, and everything can look great and feel great and seem great and be productive, but you can still feel lost inside.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: And to be honest with you, that's exactly where I've been the past four or five days.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna talk about that in length in a couple of stories here about the Wii Podcast, actually.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: So super excited, joemitiga.com and my book, Filling the Void, is up.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: It's available.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: Now please visit, please tell people, please download the book.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: It's free.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: You know, no requirement, no payment.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: Click, click, get in our system and the book.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: You download the book automatically.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Over these next weeks or so, if you want the hardback, it'll be on Amazon.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: You click and you buy it.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: And even more exciting is that we have the audio version that I'm editing now.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: And you know, AI is such an amazing thing.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: I wrote the book.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: And I wrote that book, God channeled that book through me literally 30 plus years ago now.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: And through the technologies of today, it's my voice reading my book.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Now, you want to talk about a weird experience when you're reading your own book to yourself?
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: That's taken me some getting used to.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: And interestingly enough, what we're able to do is download my voice from these podcasts onto these different platforms that then take my tonality, take my style, take my highs, my lows, just the way I pronounce things.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: And literally, as I'm reading my own book and I'm listening to myself, it is absolutely unbelievable.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: It's as if I did it.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: And I can tell you that the quality of it is so high, much higher than if I could read it and do it myself verbally.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: And the whole thing took a couple hours versus months and months.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: So I'm really excited about that.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: I'm excited to offer that to people.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Again, it's going to be a free download like everything else.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: So it's very, very cool.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: You know, the generation of change, it's becoming more and more evident to me how powerful this era of time is, and how we're literally becoming different people in the physical sense, in the emotional sense, in the spiritual sense, and the awakening that people are having and how they're dealing with different parts of themselves.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: I see it now on a daily basis, and it's quite fabulous to witness.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: And in my silence, which I'm now well over two months, so four or five hours a day of sacred silence, I call it, what I've been hearing and what I've grieved and what I've gone through has been quite amazing.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: For those of you that are new, welcome.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: You know, the We Podcast is expanding around the globe.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: Multiple countries, China is a new country that I see now, and you know, Canada, United Kingdom, the list goes on and on.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Welcome everybody here.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: And I also want to welcome the massive, the tens of thousands of people that are Spotify users, because the We Podcast is one of the top trending podcasts in all of Spotify, which I joke about.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: I just learned what a Spotify was not too long ago.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: But as I'm learning about it, I'm realizing how powerful that is, that the Wii Podcast, the message of the We Podcast, is bringing, is attracting such a powerful group of people that in all of the podcasts on Spotify, the Wii Podcast hit number one for a couple days.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: It's been in the top two or three now for a week or two.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: And it's amazing, it's humbling.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: I didn't even really know what it was, to be honest.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: I didn't.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: And now I'm learning because people that are in the know are making such an extraordinary celebration.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: And I say it because what I'm excited about with it is every time there's a ranking, it just means there's more and more people out there.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: And I'm not the only one.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: That's my blessing.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: That's the blessing.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: What does Joe get out of it?
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: As the weak community grows, I know that I'm not the only one.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: And to be honest with you, until three or four years ago, I'd never come across anybody that was on the same type of path as me.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Now I haven't met you yet, but I will.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: I will meet each of you.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: We'll meet.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: You're going to come up to me because you know that's another big part of my change.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: I'm now in the, you know, probably in the beginning days, but been doing it a couple of weeks now.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: But just in the beginning days of prepping the papers and the marketing and all of that, to start marketing to event planners, to different organizations to be a keynote.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: It's time for Joe to be live on stage, sharing my experience, strength, and hope, mirroring back my spiritual connect, my emotional process, how I did it, about the voices and the human challenges I talk about all the time, the societal challenges.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: And that's all part of one of the reasons, quite honestly, I have felt lost, lost over these past couple of weeks, this past week, especially.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: So the title is so perfect.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: Why I feel lost because I'm becoming a different person.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: And yeah, this past week, profound.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: I have felt really lost this past week or so.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to share about that more in my personal experience later on in the podcast towards the end.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: You know, the whole concept of healing humanity and why I'm so passionate about it is because, you know, the four big pillars that I see so different now, technology is different, the massive amount of money that's out there in the world, prolonged caregivers on the ground, the generation lap, where more people have made more money in shorter periods of time than ever before, and they're looking for what am I going to do?
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: I'm 52.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: What am I going to do with the rest of my life?
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: Well, so many of those people are in that feeling right now.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: I feel lost because I'm such a different person.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: You go from powerhouse entrepreneur to building your bank account to building a business to empty nester, soldier business, and you're sitting there with everything in your external world, wonderful, but your internal world feels lost.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: And we're going to talk about that more because the generation lap of people, the era, is truly the generation that I'm talking to the most.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't really matter what your age is, it just matters that you're that part of that group seeking and pursuing what's next, the more.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: And the more is seeking a grander you to guide you.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: The answer is find the higher you and then follow a higher you.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: The question is, how do you bridge the gap between the guidance system of your humanity and start learning how to be guided by the guidance system of your divinity?
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: We're going to talk about that here as part of the spiritual portion of today's episode, the becoming a different person.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: I'm going to tell some stories of people I've heard and what they did, what they've done, and what I believe people can do to move into the how to, the answer to the what's more, the how-to.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: What's the answer to it is you find the answer, not in pursuit, not in continuing to follow the old you, which was a gratitude-based humanity perspective.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: You shift into pursuing a higher you, which is a grace-based perspective, which is a giving back-based perspective.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: And the grace you feel by giving back is much grander because it's a steadfast experience.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: It's not an ever-chasing.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: I share the story about little Patricia that I gave$50 to a year ago, May.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: So it's 18 months ago now, because her arm was broken.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: And I still, when I think about that experience, I followed something different in me.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: I gave the 50, 60 bucks.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: This little girl saved her arm.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: And the experience I have today, 18 months later, is identical to the sensation, the grace I felt back 18 months ago, which is very different than gratitude.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: And there's a huge percentage of society going through that, literally.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: The people that are already way beyond more money than month, you've launched your kids, you've kind of done the human experience in wonderful ways, and you're seeking more.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: The other part of that, the other side of that, and that's part of a message that I'm getting to put out there in a keynote.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: I believe personally, anybody that's been through any type of recovery program, alcohol, drugs, sex, relationships, you name it, and make it through the 12 steps and now we're living from the 12th step, which is the service step.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: I believe each of you, myself included, as you're living that 12th step, you're living literally right now as a higher vibrational you.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: And I believe there's a world of caregivers out there in the service world, whether you know it or not, whether you feel it or not, whether you're aware of it or not, that as we're speaking right now, when you go to your job, you're already living from a higher sense of yourself.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: Because the foundation of what you do, you get paid to care for people, to give to people, to help people, to heal people.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: And when you're giving and helping and healing, you're in the place of grace, you're in the place of your divinity.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: Does it feel like it?
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: Sometimes, but a lot of times no, because unless you're making a ton of money, you still have to go home and pay your electric bill.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: You still have kids that are having challenges in school.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Life on life's terms can a lot of times kind of muffle out the flicker of waking up and saying, I'm going to my job and I'm giving back to humanity every day, and I'm living as my higher purpose today, because people have this kind of made-up belief of what it's supposed to look like.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: And I'm telling you, for the absolute fact, there are some people that reach that point that every moment of every second of every day, they're in this place of glory and joy, and it's just wonder meant constantly.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: But for the rest of us, the other 99%, that's just not what it is.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: You can be living your higher purpose and still get your car repo because you're not making enough money.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: You can be doing them both at the same time.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Because you're human also, and the human experiences are challenging.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: They are.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: And does that mean you're not living divinely?
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: No.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Millions and millions of people always are.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: And why do I want people to be aware of it?
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: Why do I want people to wake up to it?
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Because the more on a daily basis you can look yourself in the mirror, and it's really you with you, and say to yourself, I'm living a higher purpose now.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: I'm living as my divinity now, I'm living through my higher power now.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: You start identifying yourself more from a place of living as your higher power.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: And the more you do that, the more your self-worth goes up, how you value yourself, personal integrity, self-esteem, how you see yourself.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: If you see yourself on a daily basis, as somebody gives back and living through your higher power more and more, you just see yourself grander.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Which the more you can do that, does that mean that the car is still not going to get repo if you don't have the money to pay?
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: No.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: Does it mean that your world is always going to be easier?
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: No.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: It just means that while you're going through life on life's terms, you can have a sense of peace while you're in emotional turmoil.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: We're going to talk about that.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: We're going to talk about that more at length.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: So, what is the whole concept?
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: And I'm going Give some simple examples.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: You know, becoming a different you.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: Well, I literally became a different me on January or July the 2nd of this past year.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: My oldest son became a full-time student and he moved into an apartment 80 miles from home.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: And he's not here full-time anymore.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: He's 20 years old.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: So I went from, he'll be 20.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: I went from full-time dad in June for the previous 19 years to now very part-time dad with my 19, almost 20-year-old.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: And I became a different person, from full-time dad to part-time dad, relative to my son.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: Always his dad, but the quantity of things that I need to do for him and as and are less.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Because I've empowered him his whole life.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: And think about my son, Joseph.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: He went from fully dependent on me to now, as a 19, gonna be 20-year-old, more and more independent.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: If he wants to eat, he has to cook.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: If he wants to have groceries in his refrigerator, he has to go to the store.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: If he wants to plan his team, he has to set his alarm.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: So he's become a totally different him.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: He's grown into a new him.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: And the challenge so very often is when we are interacting with people around us, we have to emotionally grow to support people physically changing.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: This is a perfect example.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: And the emotional growth component would be is like with Joseph, as he's out there, I don't know where he's at on a Friday night.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: I don't know what he's doing.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: I'm not, you know, responsible for getting him up anymore.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: No, I trust him because I taught him well.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: But it doesn't mean there isn't emotional angst.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: I can say personally, I started this emotional separation process with my son literally almost 18 months before, where I just started backing up and not always around, and he became more and more independent.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: But a lot of times, as relationships grow, relationships either grow or they go.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: They either grow or they go away.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: And in that process, sometimes you have to, if you're the one doing the growing, you have to also learn how to honor yourself, even if it means sometimes setting a boundary more strict than you did before.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: And again, I'm going to tell the experience with my son Joseph and his mother.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: And his mother is a beautiful woman, you know, deeply loved her, deeply had a great relationship.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: You know, we went our separate ways.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: She's a great mom.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: And her normal style of communication is very different than my son Joseph in his youth.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: He wasn't comfortable with it.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: He wasn't.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: So as he got older, you know, he had to create, with my support, of course, he had to create different levels of boundaries with his own mother.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: Not because bad, no judgment of good or bad, but because he had to do what he had to do to honor himself.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: And amazing as he's done that, which in other words, he had to block his own mother sometimes.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Good or bad?
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: No.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Was she trying ever to hurt?
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: No.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: Kind, sweet, gentle.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: And just because it's kind, sweet, gentle, it doesn't mean it doesn't drive the other person nuts.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: And you have to honor yourself first in all things, always.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: Because if you honor somebody else first, that's codependence.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: If you honor somebody else first, then you're abandoning yourself.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: That's not love.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: It's not.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: And 99.9% of the time when you do it, the end result ends up being more of a grander experience in the relationship.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: And sure enough, over the past two or three months, that relationship has grown wonderfully.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, literally.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: And Joseph has the space he's needed to grow.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: His mother has done the things she's needed to do to, you know, grieve the separation.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: Her son moved 80 miles away, you know, it's a grieving process for her.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: They both just needed their time separate.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: And now when they come together, it's a wonderful time.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: Now it is more of a relationship that can grow from here into the next 40 years.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: But if Joseph wouldn't have had and he wouldn't have been taught, and of course, you know, obviously I was one of the taught him that you honor you first, there could have been all this turmoil, all this angst, all this whatever, because they're different people.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: Joseph is different.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: And I can promise you right now, in your life, there are people in your life, if you've got high school students, they are different.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: My youngest son went from a seven-year-old, whatever, and now he just drove me home.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: He's 15 years old with his license.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: That is a different person, and so you have to treat them different.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: And when things physically change, there's always an emotional component that has to grow, shift, and change.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Always.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: And that's why it's so important to always address the emotional side of any type of thing that's going on, especially during change.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: I think I had shared numerous times about my website, joemitica.com.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: And as it's, you know, I've got a professional group doing it.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: They had a particular way they wanted to do it.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: I had a particular way I wanted it done.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: And so as I created that relationship with them, I had to stay in surrender.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: I had to stay in peace.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: I had to stay in disappointment because there's a four or five week period of time where it just wasn't getting, it wasn't.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: I wanted people to be able to download the book two months ago.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: Well, did I take my anger out on them?
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: No.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: Did I feel disappointed?
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: So what do you do with that?
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: I'm disappointed.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: Do you take it out on them?
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: No.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: You sit on your couch and you feel your feelings.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: And that's the part, that's the how to of the Wii podcast.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Every physical change is going to have an emotional consequence.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: And most of society doesn't know how to embrace, identify, and give voice to the emotional component of a physical change.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: And that's something that I always want to talk about.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: The reason we become so scared, why it can be because change can be so frightening.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: You don't know who you are and you don't know what it's going to be, because the voices in your head typically are always going to predict your tomorrow to be worse, less, less favorable, more angst-filled because it's unfamiliar.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: And you're typically have more of a most people have more of a sense of fear when it comes to change than grace and glory when it comes to change.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: Because all change creates an emotional reaction.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: The mad, glad, sad, and scared, all change typically will create some type of psychic death, some type of emotional loss, some type of emotional shift.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: Because the relationship that used to look like ABC, my oldest son as a high schooler, now is XYZ, my oldest son as a college student.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: So the relationship between dad and high schooler and dad and college student is totally different.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: Same two people, totally different relationship.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: Well, again, in my world, I went through a lot of that for the previous year because you know I knew what was coming.
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: So I say it so with physical change, when things are literally physically changing, be aware of the emotional consequence, the internal emotional sense of loss, the emotional sense of letting go, the emotional sense of something wrong, all of the feelings, the uncomfortable feelings.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: And then listen for the voices that typically predict your tomorrow to be less than.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: An example would be as if your high school or someone you know is moving away, your voices are gonna say something.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm never gonna see him again.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: You know, they'll never call me.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: I'm lost them forever.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: He's never gonna be around again.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: All of those types of voices.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: The same thing could happen with a job.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: You lose your job, the voices kick in and say, Well, I'm never gonna get another job.
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: No one's gonna hire me.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: I'm too old, I'm too fat, I'm not smarter, everyone else is.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: AI is gonna take over.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: And all of those voices are creating fear.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: There's not emotion of fear when you lose something.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: When you lose something, the emotion is loss.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: And if you did something wrong to lose it, then the emotion is remorse, not fear.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: We create the fear in our head.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: Well, what do we do about it?
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: We write the voices down.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: Whenever you hear the voice in your head predicting your tomorrow to be less than your today, write those voices down because that's a powerful indicator that your ego is trying to cause you fear.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: I tell the story about this woman that my path crossed.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: This woman probably doesn't even know who I am, to be honest with you.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: But when I read her document, she was predicting a grander tomorrow for herself.
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: And literally, if you hear yourself predicting a grander tomorrow, that's your higher power talking.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: Most people don't do that.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: When you're predicting a grander tomorrow, we're not afraid of a grander tomorrow.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: We're afraid of a less than tomorrow.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: So why we feel so lost, why we're becoming something new?
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: Why do we feel lost?
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: What is the sensation of lost?
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: Well, the sensation of lost happens because when we become a new thing, a new entity, a new person on the physical level, lost is because the new you is very unfamiliar than who you used to be.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Dad of a high schooler, dad of a college student.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: Well, the dad of a high school is very practiced.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: I was that kind of dad for 18 years.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: Dad of a college student, now it's only been two, three months.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: So was there a lost feeling?
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: There could have been.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: I can't say I experienced that this time, but a lot of people do.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: They feel lost.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: Because the new you is different than the old you.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: So the feeling of loss is because of the experience of change.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: Well, when you're in change, grief is the spiritual emotional consequence of change.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Not fear.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: Grief is the emotional consequence of change, the psychic death, the shedding of the skin, the growing into something different.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: Well, where does fear come in?
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: Because our voices predict a less than tomorrow.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: Why do we want to learn how to trust?
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: Because when we're trusting a higher power's goddess, a higher power will always create your tomorrow to be grander than your today.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: Always.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: Always.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: Now, does that mean you're always going to make more money?
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: No.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: But will you always be more okay when your higher power is guiding you?
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: And we're going to talk about that here in a little bit, like how do we do it?
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: But the original step of the how-to to calm the fear is listen for it and then write those voices down, tell them to somebody else.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: It's a first step.
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: That's what a first step is.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Another, it was interesting because just literally, last night, a couple of nights ago, my older sister, who is just turned 70, her eyesight is fine, but as it starts getting dark, it's harder for her to drive.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: She's driving in from Cincinnati.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: And I literally had the experience for the very first time ever, it's starting to get dark.
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: And then I'm more concerned for my 70-year-old sister than I was for my own son driving.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: Well, because the relationship has changed.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: She's been a powerhouse, perfectly fine, empowered woman her entire adult life.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: And, you know, as we get a little bit older, our abilities become a little bit more fragile.
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: In her world, she's going through some eye stuff.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: And I literally felt myself concerned, like fearful, not necessarily, but concerned.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: A little bit how I felt when my son was first driving at 16.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: I don't have any fear, concerns of him now.
- 35:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I left him 45 minutes ago.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: He's driving back to his apartment 80 miles.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: I don't have any fear, no concern.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: 20 years old, perfectly competent.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: He's perfectly fine.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: No fear.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: So it's just an interesting change for me as a man who I used to have fear of my 16-year-old and no concerns of my older siblings.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: To now my 16-year-old's 20.
- 35:40SPEAKER_00: I have no fear of him driving.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: And I had concern for my sister, which no judgment, just awareness.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: And it was just interesting.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: I could feel it.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: I could feel the concern.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: And I she walks in and I said, You needed to call me.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: And she looked, you know, we're kind of joking with each other.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: And it was just kind of funny.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: But as we change, as relationships change, there's an emotional consequence.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: All in love, all in wonderment, all in concern.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: It was just new for Joe.
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: That's why I'm sharing it here with you now.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: So, and the truth is that happens every day, all day, on hundreds of different experiences.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: All day, every day for everybody.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Your job can change.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: People at church can change.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: Where you sit at church can change, the grocery store you go to, the raise you get, the raise you didn't get, the people that you like, the ball team you didn't make, the new team you get on.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: It happens every day where we change and become a different us because life changes, so we change keeping up with life.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: Most people don't know there's an emotional consequence to physical change.
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: I'm making you aware that there is an emotional consequence to physical change.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: Because you want to embrace it, because if we don't embrace the emotional change, we typically then act it out.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: Like if I wouldn't have been aware that, you know, an example would be you're concerned about somebody driving and they don't call, and then you get more afraid and more afraid, and they don't call, and then they show up.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: Instead of you owning and honoring and feeling your own fear, when they show up, you get mad at them because you were afraid.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: That happens a lot, literally, a lot.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: Happens with a lot of parents when they don't know where their kids are, and then the kid finally shows up and they get angry at the kid.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: Are they really angry?
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: No, they're afraid.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: They're afraid, they're taking their fear out in rage, anger.
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: Well, that's why I'm telling you here, when you go through any type of physical change in your life, in your world, be aware of an emotional thing you have to embrace also from a spiritual sense of change.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: And what is spiritual change?
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: You know, anything in the conscious world kind of all falls in the spiritual essence of things.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: Ultimately, spiritual awakening and spiritual oneness and spiritual communion is when you're in conscious communion, conscious contact with a power greater than yourself.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: There's no separation between the two, and easy to follow because everything is going congruently, and you just know that you know it's all working.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: Well, that's wonderful.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: I can tell you I'm there a lot.
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: And that's why when I go throughout, I went through this past week, there's a deep sense of loss in me and that oneness sensation that was mirrored in my external world.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: The mirroring of the external world changed, and I'm going to share about that in detail here in a minute.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: And so the internal vibration, I'm still in deep faith that everything's okay, but there wasn't an internal validation of my external world.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: That's why when my internal world does not mirror my external world, for Joe, I call that loss.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: I feel lost.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: I'm going to share it in detail in a story here in a second.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: But the other thing, every time we take a different approach with our internal voices, that's a spiritual event.
- 39:44SPEAKER_00: Every time we have a new awareness, that's all part of the spiritual awakening, the awareness part.
- 39:52SPEAKER_00: And I was just listening to this gentleman.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: He's a super scientist, he's a leading podcaster, a super, I mean, some of these podcasters are their brains are the size of the state of Georgia.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: They're just genius people.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: And I really look forward to meeting them.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: And I will be on a lot of their shows.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: I will.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: And this particular gentleman, I can hardly wait to be on his show and have him here.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: But he was literally saying, and this particular guy is a scientist, and he was saying for years and years and years and years, him in his humility, he was saying, I just could not wrap my brain around the God thing because scientifically I couldn't prove it.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: Literally what he said.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: And he said, something happened to me on my 50th birthday.
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: He said that I just stopped pushing the voice down in him that always wondered if there was a God.
- 40:47SPEAKER_00: So think about that.
- 40:49SPEAKER_00: All these years, he had a voice in him telling him there's a higher power, there's a God.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: For all these years, he knew the voice was there.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: But since he couldn't prove God exists, he pushed that voice down.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: In other words, he didn't listen to it.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: I didn't know if he made the voice wrong, but he didn't honor it, he didn't bring it forward, he didn't follow it for sure.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: His words.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: And then something happened on his 50th birthday.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: And I saw a 90-second clip of a very long interview.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: If I could find the interview, I'd listen to it.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: But he said, on my 50th birthday, something happened.
- 41:24SPEAKER_00: And I just stopped pushing that voice away.
- 41:29SPEAKER_00: He just stopped pushing it away.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: And like he said, do I still know for a fact there's a God?
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: No, I don't.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: He says, and that's where I think faith kind of comes in.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: Do I know for no, I don't.
- 41:43SPEAKER_00: And I don't because science can't prove it to me.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: But he said, it was just so beautiful the way he said.
- 41:49SPEAKER_00: But I stopped pushing that voice down.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: And when I stopped pushing the voice down, in other words, instead of denying, dismissing, and abandoning the voice, okay, he started allowing the voice to be okay.
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: And that voice, when he let that voice be okay, that then that voice in him believes there is a God.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: Does he believe the voice?
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: No, not yet.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: Maybe doesn't, still trying to, but he doesn't deny the voice.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: Well, and like he said, he said, the only thing I know for an absolute fact, ever since I stopped pushing the voice away, I am more peaceful.
- 42:29SPEAKER_00: Do I know that there's a God yet?
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: No.
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: Can I prove it?
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: No.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: Will I maybe be wrong someday?
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: Could it have been some and he used this beautiful scientific term all of my head?
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: My yeah, he said, yeah, maybe.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 42:42SPEAKER_00: On Tuesday morning, since I don't push that voice down anymore, I don't deny the voice.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: He says, I just feel more peaceful.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: And that, folks, is all part of the spiritual growth.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: The awakening was he heard the voice.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: The growth was he stopped denying the voice.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: And in his particular world, as he started hearing that voice, then he also started hearing a plethora of other voices.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: And it's in the plethora of additional voices, then he goes into saying, you know, don't believe the voices.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: And I'm not sure if this man's Christian or not, but he said, I've learned to pray to God to help me not believe the voices.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure those are just, you know, wounded voices.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: And what I want you to do here, what I'm teaching here, the how to deal with the other voices differently.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: In his world, he prays for peace.
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: He wants the voices, he prays to God to calm the voices, all the other voices.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you that when I'm out on the road and what I teach here at the We Podcast, is don't pray to calm the voices.
- 43:51SPEAKER_00: Pray to have the strength and courage to write those unloving voices down, also.
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: To me, those are your wounded voices.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Voices.
- 44:01SPEAKER_00: And if you embrace them, then you don't have to pray to calm them.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: You're starting, you're working to identify why you have the voice in the first place.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: So there is a huge percentage of the spiritual world, the spiritually guided world, that their approach to any voice that's not favorable is give me peace and calm the voice, or make the voice go away, or make the voice change.
- 44:37SPEAKER_00: They're not addressing the voice, they're praying to a higher power to calm the voice and make the voice go away.
- 44:44SPEAKER_00: Well, I can tell you, folks, my entire path, I never once ever tried to do that, ever.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: My path was always, why do I have the voice in the first place?
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: And that's interchild work.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: So when you hear the voices, write them down with your dominant hand.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: Write those voices down.
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: Instead of asking God to calm them and make them peaceful, give the courage to write them down and then use your other hand to journal.
- 45:11SPEAKER_00: That's why go get my book, Filling the Void.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: An entire section of my book will guide you through this.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: We've got a book club, a whole section where we're going to have tens of thousands of people over time doing all of these exercises in groups, where you can literally have a group of people through the Wii community that will guide and to help and to listen and journal together, that type of stuff.
- 45:36SPEAKER_00: So here at the Wii Podcast, my suggestion isn't pray to calm the voice or pray to make the voice go away.
- 45:44SPEAKER_00: My suggestion is the how-to is pray for the strength and courage to feel what you need to heal.
- 45:52SPEAKER_00: The reason you have a voice that's unfavorable or something you don't like or something you want to go away is because there's a wound underneath.
- 46:00SPEAKER_00: So embracing the voice instead of using prayer to suppress the voice or to make the voice go away.
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: And shifting that right there is an incredibly powerful spiritual awakening.
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: As people start embracing the glass empty voices instead of using positive affirmations to change the voice, as people start embracing by writing down the glass empty voices instead of praying for peace, pray for discovery, pray for strength to find out why the voice is there in the first place.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: And I can tell you, folks, for myself, sacred silence, five, six hours a day since August the 5th, when my or August the 1st, really, but August the 5th, when my dog Zeus passed.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: I don't have many voices.
- 46:49SPEAKER_00: Now I'll tell you the one voice I had, I think you know, I've shared this numerous times.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: I was in an experience with a coworker, and I got accused of something I did not do.
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: And this coworker came back, she was mad, she cut our relationship off completely.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: I don't even know what I did.
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: I still made amends, but I can tell you, because it was about a third party, I can tell you it is still extremely uncomfortable for me to know that there are two women out there right now that have beliefs about me that are not true.
- 47:21SPEAKER_00: And if I could just have 15 minutes of conversation with either one of them, I could just share with them it's not true.
- 47:30SPEAKER_00: But both of them have made this decision.
- 47:32SPEAKER_00: The one person has for sure.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure about the other one.
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: That nope, going to have no conversation, she knows what's best, and nope, not going to talk about it at all.
- 47:39SPEAKER_00: And it's hard, not the no talking, it's hard to sit and know that there are two people out there that have unfavorable thoughts about me and unfavorable feelings, and maybe even concern and fear, which are unfounded.
- 47:52SPEAKER_00: Not that what they're feeling isn't real, but if I had 15 minutes, I could share the rest of the data and they would be different.
- 48:02SPEAKER_00: Do I have to do that to heal?
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: No.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: But I can tell you for the longest time, the only verse I heard in all that silence I've been in was that conversation in my head.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: And sure enough, two or three different times I've gone through deep, painful emotional release about not good enough.
- 48:19SPEAKER_00: And lo and behold, I noticed just this past week I really haven't had that thought very much.
- 48:24SPEAKER_00: So the thought in my head, repeating over and over, two people don't like me and how uncomfortable it is.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: And the solution is go fix them.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: No, the question is why is it so uncomfortable that someone has an unfavorable thought about me?
- 48:36SPEAKER_00: The uncomfortable is in me.
- 48:38SPEAKER_00: Anybody gets the right to have any thought about me they want.
- 48:41SPEAKER_00: If it's uncomfortable, it's in me.
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: And sure enough, I was able to feel some really deep stuff around that.
- 48:50SPEAKER_00: And that voice is lessened.
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: So the whole idea of feeling lost because I'm becoming a different person.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: The sensation of lost is because the new person is so unfamiliar.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: Unfamiliar, the internal experience of an unfamiliar new you is the sense of loss.
- 49:12SPEAKER_00: It would be like moving from Chicago to Miami.
- 49:16SPEAKER_00: The first days you're in Miami, you're going to feel lost because you're in a whole new neighborhood.
- 49:20SPEAKER_00: It's the same that happens on the physical world when your life changes.
- 49:25SPEAKER_00: New jobs, new church, new kids, kids launched, let alone a child passing.
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: But whatever the it is, it happens every day.
- 49:33SPEAKER_00: Relationships are growing, are going.
- 49:35SPEAKER_00: And when the physical world changes, as we have to change to keep up with the physical world, the sensation of loss is because the new you is in a different, unfamiliar place.
- 49:46SPEAKER_00: The emotional consequence of feeling lost is grief.
- 49:52SPEAKER_00: There's going to be an emotional grief.
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: If you're feeling fear, the only reason there's fear of change, because your head is telling you your tomorrow is going to be less than your today.
- 50:03SPEAKER_00: That is the only reason there's fear.
- 50:05SPEAKER_00: There's zero to be afraid of with change, except what your voices are telling you how not good change is.
- 50:13SPEAKER_00: Well, what do we do?
- 50:13SPEAKER_00: The how-to?
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: Write those fear-based voices down.
- 50:17SPEAKER_00: From a spiritual position, when you are shifting from your every time you have a conscious shift, every time you become consciously aware of a new perspective, of a new you, of a new style of thinking, of an expanding, whatever, a different spiritual experience, then there's going to be a whole new group of emotional hurts typically inside of you that come up.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: And what so many people do is they use the technique of prayer, not for the discovery to heal, but they use the technique of prayer to slow down and calm.
- 50:59SPEAKER_00: That's what meditation is.
- 51:00SPEAKER_00: Anything wrong with that?
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: No.
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: But does meditation heal the reason you have the voices?
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: No.
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: Will meditation calm the voices?
- 51:10SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 51:10SPEAKER_00: How do I know?
- 51:12SPEAKER_00: Some of the most influential influencers on the internet, they brag about how they're in meditation for four hours a day to calm the voices.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: That's fantastic.
- 51:24SPEAKER_00: But how about if we heal the reason you have the voice in the first place?
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: That was always my thing.
- 51:29SPEAKER_00: Always, why do I have it?
- 51:31SPEAKER_00: So when you hear the voice, still pray, but not to suppress and cause peace, but for strength for discovery of why the voice is there.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: Write the voice down with your dominant hand and let the voice answer to you in the non-dominant hand.
- 51:50SPEAKER_00: Dual hand journaling will heal the reason over time you have the unloving voice in the first place.
- 51:57SPEAKER_00: If you're going deep, folks, get help.
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: One of the things I'm in the beginning stages of right now, soon, I am going to be, hopefully, not hopefully, sooner or later, right now, this is where I would have a big long conversation about some type of healthcare system that I'm going to represent.
- 52:18SPEAKER_00: I want solutions.
- 52:20SPEAKER_00: I want to be able to share the We podcast with solutions.
- 52:25SPEAKER_00: This website, Divorce Post, I talk about, I still don't know them.
- 52:29SPEAKER_00: I haven't asked again.
- 52:30SPEAKER_00: I'm going to put an email out to these people here soon.
- 52:33SPEAKER_00: You know, if I'm doing anything wrong, please just tell me.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: I'll never mention it again.
- 52:37SPEAKER_00: But divorce post, someone just asked me not long ago, why this part so much?
- 52:42SPEAKER_00: Well, here's what I know.
- 52:43SPEAKER_00: Do I know the founder?
- 52:44SPEAKER_00: No.
- 52:45SPEAKER_00: Have I ever met the founder?
- 52:46SPEAKER_00: No.
- 52:46SPEAKER_00: Here's what I know about the founder, though.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: Spiritually connected to her heart, because I heard a podcast years, you know, a while back, spiritually connected to her heart.
- 52:55SPEAKER_00: She doesn't have to do it.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: She doesn't need the money, which tells me it's a passion thing.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: She's doing it because she has passion.
- 53:02SPEAKER_00: And I learned not long ago she was successful in an online business before.
- 53:06SPEAKER_00: Why are all those things important?
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: Because if I'm going to tell 150,000 people a month about this thing called divorce post, and if you're going through divorce, which means you're outgrowing your partner, right?
- 53:18SPEAKER_00: The human term for spiritually and emotionally outgrowing your partner is called divorce.
- 53:23SPEAKER_00: Doesn't it make sense?
- 53:24SPEAKER_00: I would have a solution for divorce.
- 53:26SPEAKER_00: Well, that's this divorce post.
- 53:28SPEAKER_00: And I'm also, sooner than later, going to have some organization that I don't think they're going to pay me.
- 53:36SPEAKER_00: I don't need to be paid to tell something here.
- 53:38SPEAKER_00: I want to get exposure out in the keynote world.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: So, right here, this would be the place where I can hardly wait.
- 53:45SPEAKER_00: Because if you have emotional challenges, if you have addiction challenges, if you have mental challenges, if you have any type of challenge, which we all have challenge, I want to be able to tell you go here because I know them and I've been there and I support their people soon.
- 54:03SPEAKER_00: That's coming.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: And that's all part of the lost that I've been in.
- 54:10SPEAKER_00: Literally, what happened on the 5th, October 5th.
- 54:15SPEAKER_00: The Wii podcast has been ranked in Apple.
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: The top charts for months, the top of the education charts for months, the number one in how to for months.
- 54:26SPEAKER_00: And out of nowhere dropped from the top charts out of the top charts in a day.
- 54:31SPEAKER_00: Out of nowhere, dropped out of the education charts.
- 54:34SPEAKER_00: It took it a lot slower, but it dropped out of the education charts.
- 54:38SPEAKER_00: Now, do I know why?
- 54:41SPEAKER_00: No.
- 54:42SPEAKER_00: Is the listening patterns the same?
- 54:45SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 54:45SPEAKER_00: But I don't have anybody to talk to.
- 54:49SPEAKER_00: There's no, you know, I live in a place of faith.
- 54:52SPEAKER_00: I believe fullheartedly that my passion is here, going in the microphone, doing God's work, helping heal the world, empowering people and supporting and being the voice for people, and let my voice keep you company and all that.
- 55:06SPEAKER_00: And the one thing that I see, because I don't get my numbers a lot, the one thing I see that validates back into Joe's world are the rankings, because the rankings mean there's just a bunch of people listening.
- 55:20SPEAKER_00: I care about the people listening.
- 55:22SPEAKER_00: Well, lo and behold, this past week, rankings gone, all except Powtwo.
- 55:28SPEAKER_00: And I was very uncomfortable.
- 55:32SPEAKER_00: Now, there's another way I can't, I don't know numbers, but I can see that the numbers of people listening is still extreme.
- 55:39SPEAKER_00: The numbers of people listening to multiple episodes still extreme.
- 55:42SPEAKER_00: Basically, people brand new personal come into the Wii podcast and will listen on average to five to 10 to 20 episodes.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: So it was something that Apple did that's just the style in which they rank is different.
- 55:55SPEAKER_00: It was hard.
- 55:56SPEAKER_00: What happened?
- 55:57SPEAKER_00: Change.
- 55:58SPEAKER_00: What was I feeling?
- 56:00SPEAKER_00: Disappointed.
- 56:01SPEAKER_00: What was I feeling?
- 56:02SPEAKER_00: I not questioned, but lost, like lost, literally.
- 56:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know how else to explain it.
- 56:09SPEAKER_00: And then grieved a little and talk about powerless.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: It's all technology.
- 56:15SPEAKER_00: All you can do is see what you built for a year not be there anymore.
- 56:20SPEAKER_00: And lo and behold, and this is I don't know, four or five days.
- 56:23SPEAKER_00: And then I get this feeling inside, this knowing, because the external was gone.
- 56:30SPEAKER_00: My little looking at the charts is a validation back, is a mirror back, and it's gone.
- 56:36SPEAKER_00: Did I feel the emotion of it?
- 56:38SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 56:38SPEAKER_00: Did I feel loss and disappointment and sad?
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, and yes.
- 56:42SPEAKER_00: And then there was a spot that said, because I don't question, but I said, well, the truth is I'm doing this for the one person, not the rankings.
- 56:54SPEAKER_00: And that started to calm that.
- 56:56SPEAKER_00: But I grieved at first, and there's a sense of loss, big loss, because it was just part of my world, right?
- 57:02SPEAKER_00: And then about I don't know, four days, five days in, I click, and I've seen it all along, that the We podcast is trending as the number one and number two podcast on Spotify.
- 57:14SPEAKER_00: Now, it took me five days of loss and change and feeling of confusion inside because my metric to the mirror was Apple.
- 57:28SPEAKER_00: And this whole time on Spotify, which quite honestly has a larger listening, a much larger listening audience on Spotify than Apple?
- 57:38SPEAKER_00: On Spotify the whole time.
- 57:40SPEAKER_00: It's top trending.
- 57:42SPEAKER_00: What does that tell me?
- 57:44SPEAKER_00: A ton of people on Spotify are listening.
- 57:47SPEAKER_00: Did I feel that five days ago?
- 57:50SPEAKER_00: No, I didn't.
- 57:51SPEAKER_00: What was I feeling?
- 57:53SPEAKER_00: Because the Apple thing changed so much?
- 57:55SPEAKER_00: What did I feel?
- 57:56SPEAKER_00: Loss.
- 57:56SPEAKER_00: What did I emote?
- 57:58SPEAKER_00: Loss, grief.
- 57:59SPEAKER_00: Was there fear?
- 58:00SPEAKER_00: No.
- 58:01SPEAKER_00: Was there lost?
- 58:02SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 58:03SPEAKER_00: Vacant?
- 58:03SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: Because in that same time period, I'm also being, and I just I always say, dear God, guide me.
- 58:11SPEAKER_00: Just guide me.
- 58:12SPEAKER_00: Like, what am I supposed to do now?
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: I'm an action guy.
- 58:15SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 58:16SPEAKER_00: And then I was guided to it's time for me to start promoting myself as a keynote speaker.
- 58:23SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 58:24SPEAKER_00: To take the man in the microphone message out live to people one-on-one.
- 58:29SPEAKER_00: So, in that void sensation for four or five days, just vacant.
- 58:36SPEAKER_00: And of course, I'm in silence, and there's no no, I'm not being guided.
- 58:39SPEAKER_00: So I'm vacant in my heart, and there's no voices in my head.
- 58:43SPEAKER_00: I'm literally just sitting there vacant working my puzzle, which quite honestly, I'm now probably about 6,500 pieces into a 40,000-piece puzzle.
- 58:54SPEAKER_00: There's just vacancy, and I didn't have any guidance, any direction.
- 58:59SPEAKER_00: I didn't.
- 58:59SPEAKER_00: So I didn't take any direction.
- 59:01SPEAKER_00: I didn't change.
- 59:02SPEAKER_00: And the Spotify thing hadn't come up yet.
- 59:04SPEAKER_00: So then out of nowhere, but then I got this guidance, this direction that I need to ask around, because really what I want to do is right here, I want to be able to tell you, my listeners, about a powerful support place where you can go if you need help.
- 59:26SPEAKER_00: Hang up here.
- 59:26SPEAKER_00: Like I said, if you're drinking too much, try to stop.
- 59:29SPEAKER_00: When you can't, call.
- 59:31SPEAKER_00: You need help.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: And if you're guided in a spiritual way, there's definitely different organizations out there that help anything from the massively addicted heroin addict to the person that just got spiritual questions.
- 59:45SPEAKER_00: There's big organizations out there that support all of that.
- 59:49SPEAKER_00: One group I came across has like 45 facilities.
- 59:53SPEAKER_00: And to me, that'd be perfect.
- 59:54SPEAKER_00: I would love to be a spokesperson for that company, not getting paid for here.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_00: And maybe I will.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_00: I want to represent one of these big organizations as a keynote speaker.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_00: I want them to put me on the stages around the globe.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_00: And I want them to be able to put me on the stage so I can tell our story from almost homeless or literally homeless to the man in the microphone.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_00: And all of that came to me on about day five or day six of day five, because it was yesterday, and on the fifth, it all dropped almost to zero.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_00: And it was four or five days, and then all of that came to me a day or two, so maybe it's four days in.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_00: Was I in fear?
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_00: Was I lost?
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_00: And I just want you to understand that loss doesn't mean wrong.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_00: Loss doesn't mean anything bad.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_00: Loss sometimes is just super uncomfortable because we're lost.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_00: And when it happens, it's more a lot of times a sit and wait than a pursue and act.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_00: And that's what I did.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_00: Was it uncomfortable?
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_00: Did I ask for strength and courage a lot?
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_00: Did I ask to feel what I needed to heal?
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_00: The disappointment was massive.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_00: And the powerlessness, I don't fight powerlessness, so I'm not in struggle with powerless.
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_00: But to be completely honest with you, I don't have any idea, and there's no power.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: You can't do anything except it's an online thing you watch.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_00: I had no physical control or any concept of how the Wii podcast hit number 34 in the charts, was in the 50, 60, 70 of all Apple podcasts around the globe for months and months.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_00: All I knew it was all of us doing it.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_00: My higher power talking to yours, my higher power guided to share.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_00: Your higher power is sitting here listening.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_00: And together we're doing it in the 15, 20 countries.
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_00: And all of the visual, not the literal, not the actual, but the visual went away.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_00: And what did it do?
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_00: It made Joe stop the need for the external visual to know that everything was I was still moving in the same direction.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_00: How long did that take me?
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_00: About five days.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_00: Of tough.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_00: When I say it was hard, it was hard.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_00: You know, I say it all the time.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_00: I'm human too.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_00: I'm more of me human than anything.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_00: And when I go through those types of experiences, they're not easy.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_00: It's not, it's really not.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_00: And come out the other side, and then I go and look at Spotify.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_00: It's like, oh.
- 1:03:14SPEAKER_00: So the visual right now to kind of give me a little bit of a visual back is just go look at the Spotify trending charts.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_00: And out of all Spotify, all Spotify podcasts, the Wii Podcast in the top two or three, and has been for a week or two.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_00: So instead of always looking at Apple, I look at Spotify for my human need to see it, because that's all it is.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_00: I already know all of you are listening.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_00: And but that void, the lost between the difference.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_00: What am I supposed to do with my life?
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_00: That lost.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_00: I knew it was in this direction, but the what?
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_00: Like, and that's where I said everything in my external world.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_00: Literally, the day we got my book, Filling the Void, all of the technology working, that day we dropped off the charts completely.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_00: So literally everything in my external world, joemitiga.com, I said it forever.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_00: Go there, it's working.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_00: Download my book, please give it to everybody.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_00: I got the audio of filling the void I'm listening to.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_00: So my external world, my kids are doing great.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, everything is great in my external world, but I still felt lost.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_00: Your external world is not validation for guidance of your internal world.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_00: And in that five days of loss, I'm now coming out the other side.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_00: The Spotify thing came and said, wow, that's really freaking cool.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_00: This whole idea of the approach with these large, they call it healthcare providers, recovery system providers.
- 1:04:45SPEAKER_00: That's something I will really enjoy.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_00: I want to get physical out there.
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_00: I want to shake people's hands.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_00: I want to hug people's necks.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_00: I want to mirror back eye to eye.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_00: If I can, you can.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_00: And I want to honor back to that world of people, you're already living in your higher power because you're here in that world, that 12-step service world.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_00: I basically have full 100% understanding now that anybody that goes through addictive challenge at any point in time and moves from the 12 steps from addiction to any level of recovery, you're doing it because you're on a spiritual path to eventually give back in the 12-step as a grander you.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_00: And I know a huge percentage of the people on this podcast have been multi-year 12-steppers.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_00: And your addiction needs got you to 12 steps.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_00: You're now living the 12-step by service and giving back.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_00: And the more we do it, the more we do it, the more we do it, the more we heal.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_00: And it was through that lost when I came out the other side of the lost, what started filling in, what started to focus me now.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_00: And what I'm going to be really focusing in now on is exposing myself and the We podcast and all of that.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_00: To these organizations.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_00: And hopefully, what I will be doing, I already know because my PR lady, now everything is set.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_00: I will be guest on some of the larger podcasts out there with my message.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_00: So that whole world is starting to happen.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_00: And the keynote world will eventually start to happen.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_00: And all of it is, I have a credibility now because of all of us and what we're doing here at the We Podcast.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_00: And together we're truly making a difference.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_00: We are.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_00: And then it goes full circle, right?
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_00: So right as before I came back on this to talk here, I go back to Apple, and sure enough, the We Podcast has been ranked number one in the how to the whole time.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_00: And when I got back on here today, the Wii Podcast now is back like 150th, 150 in education from completely off in a way.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_00: It had been completely off for five or six days or five days.
- 1:06:55SPEAKER_00: So whatever Apple does with its systems, I don't know.
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_00: I have no idea.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_00: Do I care about the ranking?
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_00: What does the ranking mean to me?
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_00: A bunch of people listening.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_00: Even though the ranking wasn't there, did I know a bunch of people listening?
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_00: Joe's human need to see the ranking and celebrate the ringing.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_00: It was a human need.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_00: A human need was removed.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_00: And when that human need was removed, what was I left with?
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_00: Vacancy and a sense of deep okayness.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_00: Was it comfortable?
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_00: Did it hurt?
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_00: Did I feel loss?
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_00: A lot of loss.
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_00: My own world.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_00: And we make it through.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_00: And as we make it through, we grow.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_00: And as we grow, we shift.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_00: And the more we shift, the more we grow, the more we heal, the more we have to give back.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_00: And that's the cycle.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_00: And that's why we are the generation of change.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_00: Because everything I go through on a daily basis, all of you go through on a daily basis.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_00: It's just you in your world going it through your style and your ways and things that you have to grow through.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_00: But it's identical.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_00: We're all the same.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_00: We are.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_00: And together we're healing.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_00: And together we're facing that sense of change.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_00: We're grieving the loss as we change.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_00: We're expanding into a grander self.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_00: Every time we expand into a grander self, there's going to be an era of time where the consequence of expanding, you feel lost.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_00: And lost does not mean wrong direction.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_00: Lost means there just needs to be time to fill in the gap of the growth.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_00: And that's literally what just happened to me over these past days.
- 1:08:35SPEAKER_00: And I am just extremely grateful for each of you.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_00: I am.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_00: I can hardly wait to meet you on the street.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_00: I can hardly wait to see you in the wee community.
- 1:08:44SPEAKER_00: I can hardly wait to see your names as you're downloading my books and sharing back.
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_00: The book is valuable because it wasn't me.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_00: It was God channeled that book through me.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_00: 30 years.
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_00: That's a 30-year cycle that now is going out there in the world.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_00: I can't, I'm going to talk about that at length in the next podcast.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_00: The humility of grace I feel for that is just absolutely beyond words.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_00: So together, folks, we are healing.
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_00: Together, we're changing.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_00: And together, we are truly healing humanity one smile at a time.
- 1:09:20SPEAKER_00: And from around the world, I truly want to welcome you to We.
