- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listen Saints kp I AM six forty the Bill
- 0:03Speaker 1: Handles show on demand on the iHeartRadio apps and now
- 0:14Speaker 1: Handle on the news.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, here's Bill Handle. Good morning everybody, Wednesday morning,
- 0:21Speaker 2: January twenty one. President Trump is speaking at Davos, so
- 0:27Speaker 2: right now, and no surprise, he's start. He'll go on
- 0:32Speaker 2: for an hour or so. And he wasn't going to
- 0:33Speaker 2: speak about Greenland, he said. First of all, he spent
- 0:36Speaker 2: the first few minutes touting what his administration did or does,
- 0:40Speaker 2: the greatest administration in the world has ever seen. He
- 0:43Speaker 2: won in a landslide, I mean, you know, typical stuff.
- 0:46Speaker 2: And then he went into Greenland, and he said he
- 0:49Speaker 2: wasn't going to And bottom line is, we need Greenland.
- 0:54Speaker 2: It's good for the world for us to have Greenland.
- 0:57Speaker 2: If it weren't for the United States, you'd all be
- 0:59Speaker 2: speaking German or Japanese. He's talking to Europe. It is fantastic. Wow. Yeah, No,
- 1:08Speaker 2: it's uh wind farms. You're all you know, because they
- 1:11Speaker 2: have many wind forms and alternative energy in Europe. You're
- 1:15Speaker 2: all idiots that have these wind farms. It's just it's fantastic.
- 1:21Speaker 2: It is uh, I wish we could carry it. Well,
- 1:25Speaker 2: can we drop in just for a moment Cono, just
- 1:28Speaker 2: to hear him, just for a second, and then we'll
- 1:30Speaker 2: start the show and say hello, let me see if
- 1:33Speaker 2: we can do this.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Elections and a fair media. The media is terrible. It's
- 1:37Speaker 3: very crooked, it's very biased, terrible, but some day it'll
- 1:42Speaker 3: straighten out because it's losing all credibility. Think of it,
- 1:46Speaker 3: when I went in a landslide, a giant landslide, won
- 1:48Speaker 3: all seven Swing states, won the popular vote for won everything,
- 1:53Speaker 3: and I only get negative press. That means that it
- 1:56Speaker 3: has no credibility. And if they're going to get that ability,
- 2:00Speaker 3: they're going to have to be fair. So you need
- 2:02Speaker 3: a fair press. But you also, my god, you need
- 2:05Speaker 3: those other elements. And I inherited a terrible, terrible situation.
- 2:14Speaker 3: If you look, the border was open, the inflation was raging.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Everything was bad with the United States when I came
- 2:20Speaker 3: into office. But I also inherited a mess with Ukraine
- 2:24Speaker 3: and Russia, something that would have never happened.
- 2:26Speaker 2: All Right, it's going to be an hour and a
- 2:30Speaker 2: half of tating.
- 2:32Speaker 4: I would love to see a shot of the audience.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, you would. Yeah, they're not going to
- 2:39Speaker 2: do that. It's too it's too formal an event. You're
- 2:44Speaker 2: not going to see that whispering hitting each other with
- 2:47Speaker 2: their elbows going. Do you believe what he just said?
- 2:50Speaker 2: Oh my god? Anyway, it has. He started out strong.
- 2:55Speaker 2: It is a typical Donald Trump's beach. I am the best,
- 2:58Speaker 2: I am the greatest.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Uh, I am a little rough for the wearer. Is
- 3:02Speaker 5: that just me?
- 3:04Speaker 6: He sounds like he's a little horse.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you know flew well, he flew out and
- 3:11Speaker 2: over the right. He had to go back and they
- 3:14Speaker 2: had to switch out the airplanes, and so he's been flying.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I think right as he landed, he was driven directly
- 3:20Speaker 2: here or directly there to the auditorium. It was there
- 3:25Speaker 2: was there was no hotel, stay or anything, just straight out. Uh.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Helicopter lands from the airport, and helicopter lands at Davos
- 3:33Speaker 2: and H and I in a convoy, you know, off
- 3:37Speaker 2: he goes. And so anyway, we'll we'll get the gist
- 3:40Speaker 2: of this, but it's going to be typical entertaining. What
- 3:44Speaker 2: makes us fun is to see the people at Davos
- 3:47Speaker 2: get a they actually get a first hand view. They
- 3:52Speaker 2: have orchestra sees to this thing. Uh, the rest of
- 3:56Speaker 2: us are looking at the big jumbo screen unfortunately, so
- 3:59Speaker 2: we don't feel the palpable excitement going in through that room.
- 4:04Speaker 2: All right, quick hello to everybody, Hey Will, good morning, Bill,
- 4:08Speaker 2: good morning, Yes, good morning, and then kno, there you are,
- 4:12Speaker 2: good morning? Fair enough. Oh you know what we were
- 4:15Speaker 2: done with the helped Kono buy his car, and just
- 4:20Speaker 2: if you could quickly give us the final figures maybe
- 4:22Speaker 2: a drum roll? I have no idea. We we didn't
- 4:25Speaker 2: prepare for this, but and coming up with the final
- 4:27Speaker 2: figure and the final figure drum roll? Oh, all right,
- 4:35Speaker 2: here we go, well planned. Oh his drum roll is
- 4:40Speaker 2: you know? Yeah? Okay, what is it?
- 4:44Speaker 4: Nineteen thousand, nine hundred and eleven.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Oh hold on, man, we are no, no, we're going
- 4:52Speaker 2: to do we are going to extend it for Oh no,
- 4:56Speaker 2: it's already shut down, right or it still open? Okay,
- 5:01Speaker 2: So we have to hit twenty thousand, all right, So
- 5:05Speaker 2: I would like, how much do we need to hit
- 5:08Speaker 2: twenty thousand? I don't do man, eighty nine dollars? Do
- 5:14Speaker 2: you think we can hit eighty nine?
- 5:17Speaker 5: You just give him eighty nine dollars?
- 5:19Speaker 2: Because there's no chance.
- 5:21Speaker 6: I'll do it.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, good do it? Yeah, okay, so that's two
- 5:25Speaker 2: times eighty nine dollars. That's great. Now we're splitting it.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Now, I'll do it. I'll put in the eighty nine dollars.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Well for splitting all chippin.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Yeah right, wow, you know what, old let's give it
- 5:38Speaker 4: to after the break I bet you we hit it.
- 5:42Speaker 2: All right, Okay, see, I'll mention it. I'll do my part.
- 5:48Speaker 2: So yeah, I don't have to actually spend money. See
- 5:51Speaker 2: how that works.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Such a host thing to do it really is. I
- 5:54Speaker 5: was hoping I talked about it.
- 5:56Speaker 2: That's correct. That is absolutely correct. If anybody wants to,
- 6:00Speaker 2: by the way, buy breakfast for the crowd, you're more
- 6:02Speaker 2: than welcome. You're get to mention. What else can we do?
- 6:06Speaker 5: I want to see eighty nine people give one dollar.
- 6:09Speaker 2: That would be great. Anyway, here's how, here's how we're
- 6:11Speaker 2: going to raise eighty nine dollars. You go to k
- 6:14Speaker 2: f I A M six forty dot com slash kno
- 6:18Speaker 2: it's k O n O and that will put you
- 6:21Speaker 2: into the go fundme page and we'll hit our twenty thousand.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Oh okay, fair enough. Hello to Amy, good morning, Hi Bill,
- 6:31Speaker 2: Hey there you go. And Neil always calling me a
- 6:34Speaker 2: cheap baster, good morning, and and Ann who is helped
- 6:40Speaker 2: put this scene together and good morning help. Well actually
- 6:46Speaker 2: I think it was Michelle who actually established it, right
- 6:48Speaker 2: or do you do it? And did it?
- 6:50Speaker 3: All?
- 6:52Speaker 2: Good for Ann? And Okay gets all the credit. Okay,
- 6:55Speaker 2: we're gonna go a little bit above eighty nine dollars.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I'm sure everything over twenty thousand dollars and we'll simply
- 7:02Speaker 2: take and I think that's a great idea. Okay, it's
- 7:07Speaker 2: time handle whoa handle on the news? Amy, Neil and
- 7:13Speaker 2: me lead Sorry camp On. Of course, what is going
- 7:22Speaker 2: on is Davos. That's the big story. But locally we'll
- 7:28Speaker 2: take a story because the California Republicans have actually appealed
- 7:33Speaker 2: the Prop fifty lawsuit to the Supreme Court. They do
- 7:36Speaker 2: not want Prop fifty because with the help of Prop fifty,
- 7:40Speaker 2: the Democrats are probably going to take the over Congress.
- 7:44Speaker 2: We'll also be talking about what Trump is saying on
- 7:48Speaker 2: and off, because this is He's gonna go on for
- 7:51Speaker 2: an hour, hour and a half. I wish we could
- 7:53Speaker 2: take it live for the whole morning, but no one
- 7:57Speaker 2: can take it. Here's the other thing. The people at Davos,
- 7:59Speaker 2: they've locked the doors. They can't go to the bathroom.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You know that, don't you. They have to listen to
- 8:04Speaker 2: prisoners who have been given sentences are in that room
- 8:09Speaker 2: in lieu of prison time.
- 8:11Speaker 6: I think that's fake news.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I don't think so. Okay, all right.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Real quick though, before we close this officially.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that where we are all hold on, let
- 8:24Speaker 2: me introduce for people just tuned in, we're finishing Kono's attempt,
- 8:28Speaker 2: and successful attempt is going to be to buy a
- 8:30Speaker 2: Car's car blew up, as you know, and we're helping
- 8:33Speaker 2: him buy a new car. Our goal was I think
- 8:35Speaker 2: we it said twenty five what we wanted to reach.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Twenty We were eighty nine dollars short before we went
- 8:44Speaker 2: to break, okay.
- 8:45Speaker 4: And be prushing when you prushing. Twenty thousand, three hundred
- 8:51Speaker 4: and fifteen.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Okay, So here's what we want to do. Twenty thousand
- 8:56Speaker 2: goes to Kono. Three hundred and fifteen dollars. Though to me,
- 9:01Speaker 2: because I actually came up with this idea of a
- 9:05Speaker 2: GoFundMe page quite a minute.
- 9:08Speaker 7: Hey, you're the idiots, you're the morons. I came up
- 9:12Speaker 7: with this idea handled Trump. Never has the Morning show
- 9:18Speaker 7: been so huge.
- 9:21Speaker 8: I have gotten Cono out of deep debt. The country
- 9:26Speaker 8: of Cono would be speaking German. I just want to say,
- 9:31Speaker 8: because I've been busting his chops. One, this is super cool.
- 9:35Speaker 8: Our listeners are awesome. Cono couldn't be more the opposite
- 9:39Speaker 8: of somebody that accepts anything from anyone. He's a doing
- 9:43Speaker 8: himself guy and he bustes hump on the show. And
- 9:47Speaker 8: God bless every single one of those people that gave money,
- 9:51Speaker 8: because one it's very kind and two it makes his
- 9:55Speaker 8: skin crawl. He's so uncomfortable with it, which is wonderful.
- 9:58Speaker 2: So it's a double win. It's a double hit. Okay,
- 10:02Speaker 2: moving on, more handle on the news Amy neil Me
- 10:06Speaker 2: trade deal trouble.
- 10:08Speaker 9: The European Parliament is planning to suspend approval of a
- 10:12Speaker 9: US trade deal that was agreed to in July. It
- 10:16Speaker 9: would mark another escalation in tensions between the US and
- 10:20Speaker 9: Europe as President Trump ratchets up his efforts to acquire Greenland.
- 10:24Speaker 9: Apparently he just said during his little speech in Davos
- 10:28Speaker 9: that the US will not use force to take Greenland.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Oh so, he's going to use Okay, well I'm glad
- 10:37Speaker 2: to hear that because that would only put us into
- 10:40Speaker 2: a World War three situation. Thank you for that. But
- 10:43Speaker 2: he is going to use tariffs to punish those countries
- 10:47Speaker 2: who are not on his side. How unusually, I haven't
- 10:49Speaker 2: heard that before. And that is going to Royal the
- 10:54Speaker 2: and that's Roi L. Royal. The world markets looking on yesterday,
- 11:01Speaker 2: it went down, didn't The Dow went down nine hundred
- 11:04Speaker 2: points something along those lines, eight to fifty five.
- 11:09Speaker 6: Yesterday.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah, well we'll see what happens today.
- 11:11Speaker 6: Trading up near forty nine thousand.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I know it has gone up, and well the
- 11:17Speaker 2: Dow the stockbroker opens in six minutes, so we'll see
- 11:20Speaker 2: how it goes.
- 11:22Speaker 8: All right, everybody's getting on board with the Board of Peace.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Come one, come all.
- 11:26Speaker 8: More than ten countries have signed on to join President
- 11:29Speaker 8: Trump's Board of Peace. This is obviously for Gaza, and
- 11:34Speaker 8: there are those that are saying only five the United
- 11:38Speaker 8: Arab Mrs, Belarus, Morocco, Hungary, Canada have publicly accepted his
- 11:44Speaker 8: invitation to join. You know, not all of them are
- 11:47Speaker 8: going to be putting that one billion dollars down to
- 11:50Speaker 8: become permanent members. Canada says it won't pay to join,
- 11:55Speaker 8: but some countries have given something like around twenty million
- 11:59Speaker 8: dollars or something. But it's happening, and he is, of
- 12:02Speaker 8: course going to be the chairman, the president.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Of course he is. Now, this sounds like the un
- 12:08Speaker 2: where all these countries get together, exactly what making the
- 12:13Speaker 2: Trump n right and then versai in nineteen nineteen. That
- 12:18Speaker 2: sounds an awful lot like that. Okay, so much, it'll be.
- 12:23Speaker 2: It'll be Donald Trump with the He will be the
- 12:27Speaker 2: attorney inspector general. I think are they do they have?
- 12:33Speaker 2: And you can look this up? Is there a legal
- 12:36Speaker 2: term that defines grand puba?
- 12:41Speaker 6: You're totally reminding me of an old episode of the Flynnstones.
- 12:45Speaker 7: Yes, I do remember that we're going to be great
- 12:49Speaker 7: in the United Nations.
- 12:51Speaker 5: In New York.
- 12:52Speaker 8: All the flags are just going to be Trump flags.
- 12:56Speaker 2: We are having such a good time with this, and
- 12:58Speaker 2: it is unfortunately it's far from the truth. All right,
- 13:03Speaker 2: let's do one or two more before we bail out
- 13:05Speaker 2: of here.
- 13:06Speaker 9: President Trump was a little late to the ball. He
- 13:10Speaker 9: was on his way to Davos, Switzerland.
- 13:13Speaker 6: He's arrived there.
- 13:13Speaker 9: He's talking now but they were on their way and
- 13:17Speaker 9: had to turn around because of a problem on Air
- 13:21Speaker 9: Force one, a minor electrical issue is what they called it,
- 13:24Speaker 9: and set out of an abundance of caution. The plane
- 13:27Speaker 9: was turned around, land back landed back at joint base.
- 13:31Speaker 9: Andrews got on the other Air Force one and went
- 13:34Speaker 9: to Switzerland. So he got there like right before his
- 13:37Speaker 9: speech started.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, so he did have a chance to even go
- 13:40Speaker 2: to a hotel to freshen up. I mean he went
- 13:43Speaker 2: helicopter from the airfield and Davos and then the convoy
- 13:49Speaker 2: went to the forum and he started speaking and he
- 13:54Speaker 2: will not stop. We'll see how long it went. Was
- 13:56Speaker 2: it yesterday? He went for an hour and a half
- 13:58Speaker 2: or a couple of.
- 13:58Speaker 6: Days ago, almost two hours yesterday?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't what was it Neil Diamond write a
- 14:07Speaker 2: song about him, ramblin Rosie.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Okay, you get a subpoena.
- 14:12Speaker 8: You've got the Justice Department going after everyone. You've got
- 14:16Speaker 8: federal prosecutors serving grand jury subpoenas yesterday and they are
- 14:22Speaker 8: going out to the offices of Governor Tim Walls. You've
- 14:27Speaker 8: got General Keith Ellison, they're in Minneapolis. You've got or
- 14:34Speaker 8: you've got Minneapolis mayor rather Jacob Frey or Fry, and
- 14:39Speaker 8: they're just going sweeping throughout the offices there in Minnesota
- 14:47Speaker 8: for officials being accused of obstructing federal immigration enforcement through
- 14:53Speaker 8: public statements they made.
- 14:55Speaker 2: So I'd like to see which public statements that they
- 14:59Speaker 2: made that the argument is that they are obstructing justice.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I mean, specifically, if one of the officials said, go
- 15:08Speaker 2: get in front of a car that's driven by ice,
- 15:12Speaker 2: stop an ICE agent from moving forward and arresting or
- 15:18Speaker 2: effectuating an arrest. I think you're going to make an.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Argument back to January sixth too.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Oh no, that's different. No no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 15:27Speaker 2: no no, he was no. You listen to him. He
- 15:30Speaker 2: was talking to patriots and he said do a peaceful
- 15:34Speaker 2: march and make and they did and it was a
- 15:38Speaker 2: peaceful demonstration. But to his credit, he did say he
- 15:43Speaker 2: did never mentioned he never mentioned any kind of force.
- 15:50Speaker 2: He never during that January sixth speech, he talked about
- 15:54Speaker 2: go there, show them, show them what they're doing, show
- 15:58Speaker 2: them to do the right thing, make sure that Pence
- 16:02Speaker 2: does the right thing. And he did use the word
- 16:04Speaker 2: piece in there. So there was no argument there. Now
- 16:06Speaker 2: this one is going to be interesting, but it doesn't matter.
- 16:09Speaker 2: What ends up happening is when the Justice Department goes
- 16:12Speaker 2: after someone, they go broke very very quickly, and that
- 16:16Speaker 2: is one of the factors of going after someone. It
- 16:20Speaker 2: doesn't even matter if the government wins or loses, because
- 16:23Speaker 2: the unlimited resources of the Department of Justice just hit
- 16:26Speaker 2: you big time, and it's millions of dollars of defense.
- 16:29Speaker 9: Usually the FED and independence the Federal reserves ability to
- 16:37Speaker 9: set interest rates without political interference, you know, like pressure
- 16:42Speaker 9: from the president or anything, is at stake this week
- 16:45Speaker 9: in a Supreme Court case on presidential power. Oral arguments
- 16:50Speaker 9: are expected to start in about twenty minutes. It's the
- 16:54Speaker 9: case of FED Governor Lisa Cook. President Trump wants her
- 16:58Speaker 9: out of her role on the fed's board over unproven
- 17:03Speaker 9: allegations of mortgage fraud.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, this one actually probably has more import than virtually
- 17:11Speaker 2: everything else once the FED. Once the court says the
- 17:15Speaker 2: FED will be controlled by what the president wants any
- 17:20Speaker 2: president there, the lack of independence now completely disappears, and
- 17:24Speaker 2: the entire world economy looks at the FED. That is
- 17:29Speaker 2: how important the FED is and its independence is critical
- 17:33Speaker 2: in terms of the interest rates. That it sets without
- 17:35Speaker 2: governmental intrusion. And now it's well, the President has gone
- 17:40Speaker 2: and basically said, I will decide what the interest rates
- 17:43Speaker 2: will be.
- 17:43Speaker 5: How would we protect that.
- 17:46Speaker 2: The court ruling that the FED is in fact independent.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I mean it's part of the executive branch the FED,
- 17:52Speaker 2: but it is independent. It is a quasi independent agency
- 17:56Speaker 2: of which all the President could do is nominate someone
- 18:00Speaker 2: which will be confirmed whoever it is. And that's a
- 18:02Speaker 2: six year term. That's it done. And the President has
- 18:06Speaker 2: no say at all in which way the FED goes
- 18:10Speaker 2: and what he has moves to say. Effectively, I'll make
- 18:13Speaker 2: that decision. I will remove he wants to remove this
- 18:15Speaker 2: woman and does it is arguing cause and there's you
- 18:20Speaker 2: don't have to go to court as far as he's concerned.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I'll use alleged and you're done. And it's gonna that
- 18:26Speaker 2: will royal markets Gods love that word royal second time
- 18:29Speaker 2: today I use that.
- 18:31Speaker 7: Ro o.
- 18:31Speaker 6: I l by the way you handle word of the day.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah. And then I had asked and jokingly to define
- 18:41Speaker 2: the Grand Puba as I was making fun of the president,
- 18:46Speaker 2: and she defined it perfectly. Or is that the urban
- 18:49Speaker 2: dictionary or is that Webster's and it's AI. Oh, it's AI. Okay,
- 18:56Speaker 2: it's the AI reference. I didn't know that AI had
- 19:02Speaker 2: its own dictionary, but I guess it does. That's how
- 19:05Speaker 2: deeply I understand AI. What it's calling from what's out there. Yes,
- 19:08Speaker 2: I understand it calls. That's another good word calling. It's
- 19:12Speaker 2: roiling the cull.
- 19:14Speaker 4: There is a Websters Merriam Webster.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I really, there is a puhba definition in
- 19:23Speaker 2: the Merriam Webster. Oky. Good enough, all right. The President
- 19:28Speaker 2: just finished is one hour and twelve minute speech at
- 19:32Speaker 2: Davos in Switzerland, and it went all over the place,
- 19:37Speaker 2: as usual, and he went from topic to topic, returned
- 19:41Speaker 2: to topics, made some claims, made some boasts, some of
- 19:45Speaker 2: which were not particularly true. A lot of them weren't
- 19:49Speaker 2: particularly true, but no issue. He came back and literally,
- 19:54Speaker 2: we are the greatest. A lot of people believe we
- 19:56Speaker 2: are the greatest country in the world, which I think,
- 19:59Speaker 2: to some extent, can certainly argue we are the greatest
- 20:02Speaker 2: country in the world. I've always had a problem with
- 20:04Speaker 2: in terms of what literacy, mortality, you know, opportunity. I think, yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 2: you know, opportunity. Right at the top of the heat.
- 20:12Speaker 2: You know, healthcare, healthcare were the number one country in
- 20:15Speaker 2: the world. Right, Yeah, that's true. We are in many ways.
- 20:18Speaker 2: But the point is, while he was touting and talking
- 20:21Speaker 2: about how great we were, he literally in the room
- 20:25Speaker 2: full of Europeans said, you are morons. You guys are idiots.
- 20:30Speaker 2: You and then he made some examples. You believe in
- 20:32Speaker 2: these windmills. Windmills kill birds. Wind mills stop people from
- 20:37Speaker 2: having energy. I mean they curtail energy, they don't create energy.
- 20:41Speaker 2: That's good stuff. All right, let's quickly finish up handle
- 20:44Speaker 2: on the news before we get to what is going on.
- 20:49Speaker 2: So money that's going on. Yes, money is the weapon
- 20:52Speaker 2: of choice right now.
- 20:53Speaker 8: Danish pension operator is saying that they are exiting US
- 20:59Speaker 8: treasuries because of finance concerns as Denmark, of course, is
- 21:03Speaker 8: sparring right now with President Trump over his threats to
- 21:07Speaker 8: take over Greenland. So they're selling off one hundred million
- 21:11Speaker 8: in US Treasury bonds there, which is nothing. Yeah, it's nothing,
- 21:16Speaker 8: but it's money for money. They're just basically going, listen,
- 21:19Speaker 8: you're not going to invest in US properly.
- 21:21Speaker 5: We're not here.
- 21:21Speaker 2: It's a political statement. It's a political statement, and there
- 21:24Speaker 2: it's couched with the decision. The investing chief said that
- 21:29Speaker 2: was driven by what his organization sees as poor US
- 21:34Speaker 2: government finances and the debt problem that we have.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 8: See, so that's what it is. It's an ability to
- 21:40Speaker 8: take a shot at a man.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that's exactly.
- 21:45Speaker 6: Amy Busfield is out on bail.
- 21:48Speaker 9: Timothy Bussfield was ordered by a New Mexico judge to
- 21:52Speaker 9: be released from jail. He's a waiting trial on child
- 21:55Speaker 9: sex abuse charges. Apparently he's charged with the touching twin
- 22:00Speaker 9: boys on a film set. He turned himself into authorities
- 22:04Speaker 9: in New Mexico last week and during the hearing yesterday
- 22:09Speaker 9: about two hours of arguments were presented and the judge
- 22:12Speaker 9: denied emotion to keep him in custody, rule that he
- 22:15Speaker 9: should be released on his own recognaissance.
- 22:17Speaker 8: Yeah, there was more stuff coming out about that case
- 22:19Speaker 8: yesterday from TMZ. I think that the kids were interviewed
- 22:23Speaker 8: and they said no, he never touched them.
- 22:25Speaker 2: And the end of director of photography said it would
- 22:30Speaker 2: be impossible for him to do anything on set because
- 22:33Speaker 2: they had ten people around those kids at all times.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I'm sure the parents.
- 22:37Speaker 8: I guess the mother at one point had screamed at
- 22:40Speaker 8: him that if they didn't come back. He was the
- 22:42Speaker 8: director at this point, I think, on this project, and
- 22:44Speaker 8: that if he didn't bring the kids back in the
- 22:48Speaker 8: next season or whatever of the show, that she'd have
- 22:51Speaker 8: his ass or something like that.
- 22:54Speaker 2: All Right, we'll see what happens with that. Although there's
- 22:57Speaker 2: another accusation too.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Yeah, if he's guilty, hang them by his eyelids.
- 23:01Speaker 8: Yeah, if not, hang her by eyelids.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:07Speaker 8: Okay, hundreds of protesters hundreds, hundreds, Yeah, they say hundreds,
- 23:13Speaker 8: but later in the article it says nearly one hundred.
- 23:17Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, so have you.
- 23:21Speaker 2: When I remember, we got in a little bit of
- 23:23Speaker 2: trouble with the Koreans and the allegation that I said
- 23:28Speaker 2: something about Koreans dogs say we you okay, the allegation,
- 23:33Speaker 2: which was never proven, that I said something about that,
- 23:36Speaker 2: which I denied vehemently, that I ever said anything about
- 23:39Speaker 2: Koreans eating dogs. Anyway, there was a demonstration outside of
- 23:45Speaker 2: our building. Five people showed up, and it was covered
- 23:50Speaker 2: by the news. Yeah, and and the camera was such
- 23:55Speaker 2: obviously tell me which side of the political coin that
- 23:58Speaker 2: was on, And the camera was pointed in such a
- 24:00Speaker 2: way that you only saw five people, but you could
- 24:04Speaker 2: surmise there were many, many more, as opposed to a
- 24:07Speaker 2: long shot, of course, which shows only five people in
- 24:10Speaker 2: the corner.
- 24:12Speaker 5: So all right, are you saying that the news is.
- 24:16Speaker 9: Yeah, skewed, yeap, but bye, little bloodsuckers.
- 24:23Speaker 6: Moving on.
- 24:25Speaker 9: Residents and Alsagundo have been battling an invasion of mosquitos
- 24:28Speaker 9: nearly two months. They said that the mosquitoes are getting
- 24:32Speaker 9: in their house and biting the rud out of people,
- 24:36Speaker 9: leaving them with weltz and really affecting their lives. They're
- 24:39Speaker 9: trying to figure out where they're coming from. Apparently several
- 24:42Speaker 9: mosquito breeding grounds were found at the Hyperion water Reclamation plant,
- 24:47Speaker 9: and the mayor of El Segundo, Chris Pimentel, said standing
- 24:52Speaker 9: water leftover from recent rainy weather could be to blame.
- 24:56Speaker 2: All right, so much for that. Oh yeah, actually got
- 25:00Speaker 2: through ten stories in the middle of all that, which
- 25:02Speaker 2: is kind of interesting. Kf I am six point forty.
- 25:06Speaker 1: You've been listening to the Bill Handle Show. Catch My
