- 1:31Speaker 1: hear to believe. Then grab your popcorn because there is more.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It has been starting yesterday when the ruling came out
- 1:43Speaker 1: regarding conversion therapy.
- 1:45Speaker 2: It has been a non stop of news.
- 1:49Speaker 1: So this week we're not only talking about what's going
- 1:52Speaker 1: on in Iran. You've got the presidential address tonight at
- 1:54Speaker 1: nine pm.
- 1:55Speaker 2: You have this ruling on.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Conversion therapy, which the descent is nutty from Katanji Brown Jackson.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Katanji Brown Jackson's descent is longer than the opinion and
- 2:10Speaker 1: the concurrence from Elena Kagan. As a matter of fact,
- 2:13Speaker 1: Katanji Brown Jackson is so out of her head that
- 2:16Speaker 1: she's taking on Elena Kagan and Sonya Soto Mayora, the
- 2:20Speaker 1: other two liberal justices for being duped. What was the
- 2:24Speaker 1: case about the case was about whether or not the
- 2:27Speaker 1: state in this case, the state of Colorado, could stop
- 2:32Speaker 1: therapists from advising patients that, you know, hey, you think
- 2:39Speaker 1: you're a girl, but you're not a girl, You're a boy.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Nope, No, you can't have that. You can't say that. Now,
- 2:47Speaker 2: this is the same Katanji Brown Jackson.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Who has made a series of arguments starting with she
- 2:54Speaker 1: can't define what a woman is.
- 2:58Speaker 2: She can't define what a woman is.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But yet somehow she knows that you're not allowed to
- 3:04Speaker 1: tell somebody in therapy the truth. The First Amendment doesn't
- 3:09Speaker 1: allow that. Okay, crazy, I'm gonna get into this on
- 3:13Speaker 1: Toni Cats today. But today is the case about birthright citizenship.
- 3:19Speaker 2: And from the.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Reporting, President Trump is going to be at the Supreme
- 3:22Speaker 1: Court to watch it happen. Just because you have a
- 3:28Speaker 1: child in the US, does that give them immediate citizenship?
- 3:33Speaker 1: And does it give you the anchor baby status as
- 3:36Speaker 1: it's referred to, the concept of anchor babies and you
- 3:39Speaker 1: get to stay they're hearing that case today, it's going
- 3:45Speaker 1: to be something else.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I am somebody who says that the term subject to
- 3:54Speaker 1: the jurisdiction thereof.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Something.
- 4:04Speaker 1: When you hear this subject to the jurisdiction thereof, what
- 4:11Speaker 1: I believe it means. This is the Fourteenth Amendment. All
- 4:14Speaker 1: persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject
- 4:17Speaker 1: to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States
- 4:20Speaker 1: and of the state wherein they reside. If you're here
- 4:23Speaker 1: illegally and you have a child here who is subject
- 4:28Speaker 1: to the jurisdiction thereof, this has been my question, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: I think it's still a worthy question. Some people said, well,
- 4:34Speaker 1: this has been asked and answered. I don't know if
- 4:36Speaker 1: it's necessarily asked and answered, and maybe I just disagree
- 4:40Speaker 1: with the answer. So this conversation today is going to be.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Huge, and there's gonna be a.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Lot of reading into the questions asked by the justices
- 4:52Speaker 1: and what we think that means.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Massive day.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Add to this the Popcorn moment where Marco Rubio is
- 5:02Speaker 1: on record discussing.
- 5:05Speaker 2: We don't feel that we really got.
- 5:06Speaker 1: The help from the UK that we needed regarding this
- 5:11Speaker 1: war with Iran. Now I've made my arguments about it,
- 5:14Speaker 1: but you can also argue that even ipso facto, the
- 5:19Speaker 1: UK has not been very forthcoming. France doesn't allow us
- 5:23Speaker 1: to fly over their airspace. Spain has said no to
- 5:27Speaker 1: the utilization of bases. So there's a question that Marco
- 5:31Speaker 1: Rubio is asking the Secretary of State, and the question
- 5:34Speaker 1: is what is the point of NATO. We are bound
- 5:38Speaker 1: by treaty, bound by signature to defend these nations that
- 5:42Speaker 1: they don't help us.
- 5:43Speaker 2: They actively get in the way. What are we doing here?
- 5:47Speaker 3: There's hundreds of billions of dollars over the years, trillions
- 5:50Speaker 3: of dollars, and all these American forces stationed in the region.
- 5:53Speaker 3: If we can only use it, we can in our
- 5:55Speaker 3: time of need. We're not going to be allowed to
- 5:57Speaker 3: use those bases, So I think there's no doubt on Unfortunately,
- 6:01Speaker 3: after this conflict is concluded, we are going to have
- 6:03Speaker 3: to re examine that relationship. We're going to have to
- 6:06Speaker 3: re examine the value of NATO and that alliance for
- 6:08Speaker 3: our country. Ultimately, that's a decision for the president to make,
- 6:11Speaker 3: and you'll have to make it.
- 6:12Speaker 2: We're going to finish the job here.
- 6:13Speaker 3: As I said, we're very very close to achieving our
- 6:15Speaker 3: objectives on all of these things that I've outlined. But
- 6:18Speaker 3: I do think unfortunately we are going to have to
- 6:20Speaker 3: re examine whether or not this alliance that has served
- 6:24Speaker 3: this country well for a while is still serving that purpose,
- 6:27Speaker 3: or is it now become a one way street where
- 6:29Speaker 3: America is simply in a position to defend Europe. But
- 6:32Speaker 3: when we need the help of our allies, they're going
- 6:35Speaker 3: to deny US basing rights and they're going to deny
- 6:37Speaker 3: US overflight. I think these are very legitimate questions that
- 6:39Speaker 3: we need to be asking, and this are going to
- 6:41Speaker 3: have to be very carefully examined after this conflict is over.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I made the case here that no nation wanted to
- 6:49Speaker 1: be joining into this war in a second fiddle capacity.
- 6:54Speaker 1: They had to look strong for their nations, and I
- 6:56Speaker 1: believe that to be the case. Not allowing the US
- 7:00Speaker 1: to fly overhead or flyover airspace, as I said yesterday
- 7:04Speaker 1: and tonycat today, that is absolutely egregious, and I believe
- 7:08Speaker 1: that France needs to be punished for it.
- 7:11Speaker 2: The lesson needs to be strong and fierce.
- 7:13Speaker 1: You hear the Israeli saying we are blocking now all
- 7:16Speaker 1: defense manufacturing from France. We're not getting anything made by
- 7:19Speaker 1: France anymore. That was their step, and I don't know
- 7:22Speaker 1: how long it's going to last. I don't think they'll
- 7:24Speaker 1: be the last of it, though, I think it is
- 7:28Speaker 1: very acceptable to ask what is NATO?
- 7:30Speaker 2: What is its future? Are these nations serious or not?
- 7:35Speaker 1: And while I still defend my position because I believe
- 7:37Speaker 1: my position is accurate, that none of these nations wanted
- 7:40Speaker 1: to be like, oh, well, the US told us we
- 7:42Speaker 1: have to do this, so we're doing this. They would
- 7:44Speaker 1: have rather been brought in and be part of something
- 7:47Speaker 1: at the beginning.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So they can be seen as strong.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Not letting us fly over airspace Italy not letting us
- 7:55Speaker 1: land at the base at Sicily, which they say was
- 7:58Speaker 1: nothing more than a clerical error.
- 8:00Speaker 2: They're really trying to it seems not have.
- 8:03Speaker 1: A problem there, and it's possible that it was indeed
- 8:06Speaker 1: a communication error. I think you're gonna see this conversation grow,
- 8:13Speaker 1: are we. A producer Carl asked me, are we out
- 8:15Speaker 1: of NATO in five years by the end of Trump's term?
- 8:17Speaker 1: Are we out of NATO? And I said, I would
- 8:19Speaker 1: say there's a one in five, right, the odds are
- 8:22Speaker 1: NATO still remains. This conversation is happening, and I think
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's gonna be happening quite seriously,
