- 7:55Let's talk science. April 8th, 2026, was a significant
- 8:01date for astronomy. NASA's Artemis program is
- 8:04revolutionizing lunar exploration after decades
- 8:08of planning. As the United States government
- 8:11reduces its spending on basic science, funding
- 8:14remains ample for moon missions. NASA's Artemis
- 8:18II mission is just the beginning, with numerous
- 8:21additional crewed and robotic missions being
- 8:23planned. These expeditions could transport equipment
- 8:27for groundbreaking research. There is much to
- 8:30discover about the moon's origins, history, and
- 8:33resources. Some astronomers view the moon as
- 8:36a stable platform for their ambitious studies,
- 8:39amid shrinking funding for other projects. And
- 8:45in entertainment news, the hit series Shrinking
- 8:49is confirmed to return for a fourth season, despite
- 8:52the season three finale feeling like a series
- 8:55end. Co -creator Bill Lawrence explained that
- 8:58the finale, titled And That's Our Time, was initially
- 9:03intended to conclude the show. Lawrence stated
- 9:06that they wanted to adhere to the original three
- 9:09-season plan, even as they decided to continue
- 9:12the story. He emphasized that there are still
- 9:15a bunch of stories to tell, particularly regarding
- 9:18Jason Segel's character, Jimmy, and his journey
- 9:22through grief. fans can look forward to more
- 9:25developments in the upcoming season. Well, alrighty
- 9:29folks, it's time for the quote of the day. And
- 9:33today, our quote comes from the American astronaut
- 9:36and physicist Sally Ride. And she said, The stars
- 9:41don't look bigger, but they do look brighter
- 9:44when viewed from space, reminding us of the vast
- 9:47potential and inspiration that space exploration
- 9:50brings to humanity. And that's a wrap for this
