- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: I love you Cleveland.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I love you Ohio.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_00]: Not a very pleasant welcome.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: The Thursday edition of the Big Play Cleveland Show.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Live here on YouTube.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Great to have you with us.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Bruce Dreader, along with Matt Fontana and Ryan Tyler at Boyd, and we have a lot on the platter today.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: Guardians, baseball playoffs, the Browns, and the NFL, and obviously college football.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: Guys, good to see you.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_02]: Bruce, great to see you, uh, my heart is just now coming down from yesterday.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, all the questions when Kate Smith, within the game, bats came alive.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: You got enough.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: And then we throw, we finally get a night game.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: It just took everybody else finishing their series.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: It was accommodating and sweeping the Yankees.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that in a minute.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: So the white socks are up two games to one and games one and two here in Cleveland.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: The white socks proved.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: pitching is still the name of the game.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: And rather than typical fans criticizing Dolan or whoever for not hitting, I choose to emphasize the historical fact that pitching, especially in the playoffs, is indeed
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: the determining factor.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: The Guardian is getting only three hits in game one last Saturday and four in game two Monday exemplifies how fabulous Smith, Hudson, Hicks, K and Taylor
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: runs can look back you can look back at innings three and four the guardians can look back at those innings when we got the bags juice and we couldn't score that was of course detrimental but by the way the guardians pitching was excellent in those first two games as well allowing only three runs and notching 10 strikeouts and game two after giving up a run coming
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: was absolutely unhittable.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: Striking out six, he was phenomenal.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: I just, and again, our pitching was also very good, especially Gavin Williams where there's 11 strikeout performance, pitching in the playoffs, man.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: And then last night, the Guardian's pitching notched an amazing 19 strikeouts, seven of them by Foster Griffin.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: And finally,
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: the Bats came alive.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: So here we are going into another elimination game tonight and in all best of five postseason series entering 2026 teams losing the first two games before winning game three to avoid elimination have won again to force a game five in 18 of 39 instances
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: they have won the series 10 of 39 times.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: Now historically 10 teams have come back from an O2 deficit in a 5 game series.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: All hands on deck.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: Parker Messick will start for us tonight.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: What a spot for him, uh, I could, you know, they kept showing him last night and he's sitting there.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's just trumped that gum.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: He could tell you's nervous even in that game, but like that excitement of like I get the ball tomorrow to try to extend this out.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned Foster Griffin, uh, Bruce, he joins Warren Spawn as the only two left-handed pictures in Major League Baseball postseason history to have seven strikeouts and no,
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: walks.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: There's two.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: Foster Griffin and Warren spawn.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: So I know for that game to kind of go back to that game on Wednesday, bringing Cade Smith in, I was like, okay, don't know if he was really needed.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: I would assume that he's very much on the dock at for today, knowing the situation that you're in, you're going to have to put him back out there again today, hopefully at some point.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: But that kind of unervisness of like, yeah, where are we going to turn Gattis given us all a little bit of worry there?
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: But it was the bats and I think for Jose to be at the center of that, the defensive play, a double, a triple stolen base, run scored.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think it just kind of, that's the joke that you're looking for.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: And I think too for the white socks, knowing that the pitching they're going to face is good.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: To have the bats may be coming alive for the guardians.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's a big worry for them for this game.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: And I think there is a lot of pressure, Ben Axe, right?
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: Had a great tweet about this from front of sports and I agree with them.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: That pressure is now solely on the white socks.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: You're at home.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_02]: You got smoked in the game prior.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: You had better close this out tonight in Chicago.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want to have to come back to Cleveland with all that pressure on you to finish this out.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I want to say that Guardians are playing with house money because we have expectations.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_02]: We believe that they should be in the LCS.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_02]: They've got the better picture going tonight.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: And especially if our bats are
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: waking up or feeling good after that game on Wednesday.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited to see what the lineup is.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: Got a lineup was a little different, right?
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: Bayley got the start.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it might have been hedges.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_02]: They moved Bizana down a little bit.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: But a game like this tonight, if you think you're going to get what you get out of Jose Ramirez, I'm looking at the water and I'm looking at Bizana.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm looking at a Dell and I'm assuming the thing below will be back in there.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you're going to look at those guys and say you want to win this game.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have to do exactly what they did.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: And also, the Guardians worked 10 walks.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: 10 walks in that game on Wednesday to get the bases on I thought that was a grub they scored nine runs they had four extra base hits two doubles and two triples They didn't hit a home run You know, they didn't hit a home run and you just kind of manufactured that guards ball runs to get the nine and you know You saw at the end of the game the white socks were defeated.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: They were done.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: They were ready for that game to be over Can they were group for tonight?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna assume they're going to regroup Cuz they know what you said early right and they they
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: I've got to do it.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: I've got to do it.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to do it.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I've got to
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: before that, but the brace, and I'm going to allude to this a little later when I talk about the brewers, but they won back to back penance in the National League in 5758.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I totally agree with you on the momentum shifting, and we shall see Ryan any input out of it.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I just, I think the biggest stat was the 10 walks, because you could see a visible change of approach at the plate, and I'm going to give credit to Stephen Vaudent.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's a big moment, right?
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: Season on the line, you need to make a change, and they executed it, and
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: the pattern continues.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: They're playing better baseball on the road.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: So am I a little bit worried about a game five at home?
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: Of course not because I'm going to believe in the guardians, but it begs the question.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: If you're Steven vote.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: How many changes do you make to the lineup?
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, your day given that you just put a nine a nine spot on the board.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't know how many changes because I do like the flexibility of Hannaow off the bench, which you saw, yes, for Onhill Martinez, like, you know, you're able to flop out some of these guys, like David Frymore and like that pinch it roll if you need it.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: I actually kind of like the Bailey off the bench as a switch hitting catcher versus hedges.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_02]: I would imagine hedges pitches or catches tonight just with Messick out there.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I mean,
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: If it's as simple as rolling out the same lineup, but just put up nine runs, maybe you sub-out Bailey for hedges, I'm fine with that.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_02]: And again, you keep some PD helpin' for your speed on the bench, you keep an eye when you might need him for a bat here and there.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't change too much, especially with what you're able to do yesterday and give those guys a little bit of confidence.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then for Messick to go out there too, and you have the starter, which I know a lot of people yesterday with a spino and questioning the opening thing.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: worked out.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: It didn't really feel that way.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe early.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: We're kind of nervous.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: I know I was.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: But that worked out.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: You got the win.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: So now you then turn it over to Parker Messick.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_02]: You had to use a lot of bullpen guys, but you still have Tanner Bibi if things start to go bad potentially with Messick, which I hope doesn't happen.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: But even if you go to Parker and go get me through the line up once.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: get me through the lineup at a half one time then here comes Tanner by me get me through the rest of that line of maybe one time over and then you can start to look to the bullpen because you know gattest is going to have to be ready to go you know Kate Smith's a brow ski those guys are going to have to be back on deck.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: everybody, you know, and then we'll like Ryan said we'll cross game five when we get there.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: How about Tampa Bay sweeping the New York Yankees?
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: Well, this was the race.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: First sweep in a best of five postseason series are longer in their franchise history.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: And thus, this also was the only the Yankees second sweep in a best of five
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: have defied the odds and proved all the critics wrong, including me.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: They were widely picked to finish last in the American League East this year.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: This was also the race.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: First postseason wins since the ALCS when they beat Houston in seven games.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't advance in each of their past three trips to the playoffs, losing the Boston and the ALDS before getting swept in the AL Wildcard series matchup versus Cleveland, ironically, in 2022 and Texas in 2023.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: The franchise has advanced past the ALDS twice before.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: in 08 and in 2020.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: They went to the World Series both times and they lost both times first to Charlie Man he was Philadelphia Phillies in 08 and the LA Dodgers in 2020.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: Tampa Bay won this series against New York by beating them one-to-nothing in game one-five.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: To do in game two and four to three last night.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's now been 17 seasons.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: Since the storied Yankees team has been to the world series so much for the 308 million dollar payroll.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: Now the race who posted the best record in the American League this year at 98 and 64 await the winner of our series.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: And that's for the right to represent the American League in the world series.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: celebrating in Yankee Stadium in the visitor's clubhouse was amongst many, many others, was Bill Cosgrove.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Bill is the co-chair part owner of the Tampa Bay race.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Bill is a Clevelander.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: and he is the president of union home mortgage, one of the guardians big sponsors.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: He also coincidentally was a member a fellow member of mine at Columbia Hills Country Club for years.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Then he left because he bought Madina Country Club and has upgraded that tremendously.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: I wanna congratulate Bill, but if we win this series,
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: As they used to say, in my old show, oh, that's a rough.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_02]: you know watching the game the home run that got called back because Volpi hit it you saw I think it was Mesa that backed up and you saw the fan and the one angle looked like the fan had his hands back behind the wall and the other angle they're like nah his hands were over and they say Mesa wouldn't have caught it anyway but what a change because that would have been a tie game they put Volpi at second and then I don't remember who came up right after him.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_02]: And he struck out, you know, and you're just like you could feel the air just leave Yankees stadium at that point and they weren't able to do anything after that.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah, I'm not going to say I'm shocked by the raise advancing because they were arguably the best team in the American League all year.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: So you like that payoff, but I do think so much about the raise and even the guardians.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: The race have had super stars leave their team over and over again, and they still just keep rebuilding it.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_02]: their their lineup is potent and junior cam in error.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: I got it, you know, it's hard to watch, but I mean, those guys that they play the game the right way and, you know, the Yankees, I mean, where do you go from here?
- 13:00[SPEAKER_02]: You got John Carlos Stan who can't play anymore and he's still owed $20 out some million dollars next year.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_02]: Aaron Judge can't stay healthy.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: It seems at this point.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: You spent all that money for Max Freed.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_02]: You spent all that money for Garrett Cole.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: You have Cam Schlittler.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: Ben Rice is a great story.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: I can't imagine where Yankees fans heads are at,
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: Now it's fire boon how is he still employed by the well, I mean at that point they don't have it.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean you guys are we in a green sun that it's kind of crazy He's still employed.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: No, he's gonna he's gonna there's no choice.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: They have to make it Because this is completely unacceptable for where they're at they're not gonna fire the players But I mean you watch it you're gonna like Bruce said what you put up five runs five runs in a three game series Total course you're gonna frickin what's the Yankees standard in 2026 seriously?
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what's the new Yankees standard in this generation?
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: For me, I've probably been into baseball, like heavily for the last one world series.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: They have 27 world series championships, Ryan scene one.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's the standard every year.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: that they get to the world series and and preferably win the world series.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, here's a side by question for you.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: You could make a case for Stephen Volt once again to win manager a year.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: That would be three years in a row.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, Vennables probably go on it.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: But I'll tell you what, you can make a case for Davy Cash too.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's there's some really great managers and course.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: They all kind of have ties to Cleveland and one player another Been through your with Terry or somebody else, but yeah, I mean he's he's done a fantastic job down there.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's set kind of that Terry Frank owners standard down there with Tampa
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers earned the right to play for their third straight national league pennant with a 4-1 victory in Atlanta.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: It was a Dodgers' fifth straight postseason road victory.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: They are ten and one in the past 11 road playoff games, 14 and three in their past 17 road games.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: Dodgers eliminated in Atlanta and four games, winning game one five to three.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: Then the brave's got him and game two, three to two, and felt great going back home to Atlanta with a chance to dethrone the world champs in four games, but the Dodgers showed why they our world champs in games three and four.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: They won three to one and four to one.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: As a result, LA now plays Milwaukee for the penit.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if they once again get to the World Series, they can become only the third team and major league history to win three or more World Series in a row.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: The Yankees won more than that.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: The other team, of course, is the Oakland days of Charlie Finley.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: The Dodgers of coming upon at the Milwaukee Brewers, are one of only five teams in history to not win a World Series.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: the others are San Diego, Tampa Bay, Seattle, and Colorado.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: Now, as a matter of fact, the last and only time that Milwaukee played in the world series was 1982 when they represented the American League and lost the St. Louis.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: in seven games.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: Milwaukee did get to the world series in 1957 and eight.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: I said I referenced that a little bit earlier when Matt brought up Warren Spawn.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: But that's when they were the brave, that's when they were Milwaukee was the bravest before moving to Atlanta.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, the bravest BT Yankees in seven games and 57 and lost to the Yankees in seven games in 58.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: Another big question in Atlanta.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: We were talking about the Yankees, what's next for the Braves and their team roster?
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: Just like the team they eliminated Philadelphia.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, same thing, Philly with some questions around, you know, Schworber, how much longer his Bryce Harper have, kind of the same thing in Atlanta.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's been the same group, Akunia, and Matt Olsen, questions come up.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: All these, yeah, all these, yeah, all these, yeah, all these, I mean, I look at the Dodgers Bruce and I know we think about that line up, you know, and show hey, show hey, bad of 150 in this series, by the way, they didn't even need, because their pitching was insane, Yamamoto,
- 17:07[SPEAKER_02]: one run over seven innings terrible one run over six innings class now snow i mean and blicks now i got it you know you only pitched a couple innings in that game you turn over to edwin d as late i mean we talk about the lineup i don't know if there's gonna be a line up that can challenge the dodgers pitching staff that might be what's gonna carry them up potentially to that other world series i mean again you have
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: border line.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to take Blake Snell out of that.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_02]: I guess for maybe a second, you got three guys that would be aces on any team and you got to face them pretty much three straight days.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's a tough ask for any line up to go again.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's a very good point.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: And Davey Roberts their manager is now, you know, how prestigious is he as one of the best managers in the major leagues?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: I remember years ago when I was on the radio doing a pre-game and post-game and 1100.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: And we carried the Indian's games.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: And then when the Indians were off, I had to do a full show.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember getting to the ballpark.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: I used to get to the ballpark around three in the afternoon for a seven o'clock start.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'll never forget getting there one day at three o'clock.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: And nobody's there, but there's Robby Elamar working and teaching Davy Roberts about bunting.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I just stood there and watched and marveled at the great baseball sense and natural ability of Elamar and how astute as a young kid Roberts was to Robbie, really quite a moment.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think baseball more than any sport former players as managers.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's, I mean, again, not always at the high level.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: You talk about Terry, right?
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: He had a good career, but it's not like he was in all star.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_02]: Having cash is a former player.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want your own boom.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: Former player.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: Dave Roberts, former player, Steven vote, former player like Earl Weaver.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, however, you did even play in the majors, they might not have been right.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I was going to say too, uh, Sparky Anderson.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Frank Robinson.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think so many of these players that become great managers, uh, Jim Leland, you know, I don't know.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_02]: I just thought it was Jim Leland.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_02]: And all these guys that again, some of that was good.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: He was far from great.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well, like, you know, Joe Tory was a pretty good player.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's what he was a good player.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_02]: He was a very good player.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: And then he turned out to be obviously a great manager.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: But again, it's a lot of times the guys that that were kind of the mid or, you know, had their cup of coffee or things like that because baseball is that sport.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_02]: You got to know what that clubhouse is like.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: And what the players are like.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: And when you send a guy down and going through tough patches and keep it everything together, because baseball is that one,
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, any locker room can revolt, but as long as that season is, and as many games as they are, when you lose those guys, there's no coming back from that.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I think for Dave Roberts, you know, you're right, Bruce, because it's easy to sit there and be like, dude, I could manage that team, right?
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, just put the line up together, go ahead and let these guys go out there.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_02]: But there's so much more to that.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: And I think for the Dodgers, me with 30,000 foot view on them, it's not like I watch her, you know, roof of the Dodgers.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: But it seems like they're a very motivated and driven team.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: It'd be easy for all of these guys with all of this money.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: They already got their world series.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_02]: They could sit back and make it happen.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: No, we're good.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: They seem so extremely motivated.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think that might be the best thing that Dave Roberts has done for that team is keep them focused on the big goal here.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: real good point.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: Well, for the second straight year, the Milwaukee Brewers will be playing for the National League Penit.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: Once again, standing in their way or the defending world champion Los Angeles Dodgers, Brew Crew posted the best record in all of baseball with 103 regular season wins.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: Padres had been the hottest team in the second half of the season, more so than any other team in the majors, once again they fall short with that extremely high payroll, especially for a mid-level market team.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: Now, as a matter of fact, by far the highest mid-level market payroll of all the mid-level teams.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: now just goes to show big payrolls don't guarantee post-season success look at the Yankees let alone the Metz didn't even make the playoffs and they haven't for a lot of years.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: This will be the fifth time in franchise history that Milwaukee will be playing for the penant.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: The last three have been against the Dodgers and we all know how that has turned out.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: One of the big obstacles for the brewers in the postseason has been their inability to win on the road.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: Going into last night's game at Petko Park in San Diego, the brewers had lost 10 road games in a row.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: That tied the longest streak in postseason history and get this.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: The last road postseason win was in 2018 when they beat Walker Bueller in Dodgers Stadium.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: Guess who started for San Diego last night, Walker Bueller.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: Milwaukee advances running the series in four games.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: three to two victory and game one four to three victory and game two and San Diego one game three four to three that last night three to one victory four mil walkie to clinch it.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: The Brewers will host Los Angeles on Sunday and game one of the best of seven and LCS during the regular season.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: Milwaukee Pete the Dodgers for games to three the Dodgers one two out of three in Milwaukee Milwaukee one three out of four in LA
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: this matchup is all going to come back to the brewers bats versus that Dodgers pitching rotation that I talked about because I just don't see it with the brewers starting rotation.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't have a guy make it pass the fifth inning with any other starters.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_02]: They're leading pitcher for innings was the relief like they're going the old-school Terry Frank corner the reliever Pat Murphy's just pulling in guys Aaron Ashby had more innings than anybody.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: But that's where contraris was hidden, yellowish was hitting,
- 23:21[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't even get a lot from Jackson Torio, which was a little shocking there.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_02]: Good defensive player, obviously, too.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: But that's like for the brewers to pull this off, which, you know, we're all rooting for the Guardians.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: God, what I love of brewers, Guardians of World Series.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and that's the game.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man, that would be the obvious awesome.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_02]: Just as if we go this way, I can't get out of the brewers.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: That excited.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_02]: That would really be chaos.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: I just want the chaos and just throw it in there as they're going into Go to the most the owners.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_02]: No, the player union.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: That will be Because of the upcoming.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's the ending work stop.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: I play your love.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 19th payroll for the for the brewers and obviously we know where the guardians are.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_02]: I see right.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm at the play right But like I just I do not see these this brewers rotation because like miss orowski is miss orowski.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: Okay That's fine, but like
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think they're going to be able to to stifle this Dodgers line up enough.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: So you're going to need to score runs for the Brewers.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's great that yellow just looked good in this series.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, contrares, they're going to need more from Jake Bowers, but you know, I hate to say because it's like it just feels like the inevitable for the Dodgers.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_02]: But if the Brewers can score runs, that's going to be the whole key in this thing.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they'll be at home.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: They've got home field advantage of these.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think Murphy's a shoe and again for manager of the year.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't get 100%.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think there's any questions.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: He deserves it.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: But, um, and they've gotten Mr. Roski really rested for games.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: One, I wouldn't be surprised if he starts three games like the old fast.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to have to, yeah.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, in order to have a chance.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Sam McDowell has passed away.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: The tall left hander spent 11 of his 15 big league seasons as a Cleveland starting pitcher.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: He compiled a record of 114 and 134 with an outstanding ERA of 3.17.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: He found 2,453 major league hitters.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: Now, think of that, 103 complete games in today's era of baseball, the best major league starting pitchers may.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: I repeat, may get one, two, or three, and that's rare.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: He recorded 23 shutouts over 425 games and 346 starts.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's a Pittsburgh native.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: He made his major league debut with Cleveland at the age of 18.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: He went six and the third innings throwing three hit balls striking out five in a no decision.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: McDowell was one of the most dominating pitchers in baseball between 1961 and 1975.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: He led the American League in strikeouts four times in a five-year span.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: He was a six-time all-star.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: He was a flame thrower.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: He claimed that it was claimed at the time that he threw his fastball 100 to 102.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: I had the privilege of interviewing McDowell once when he was here in Cleveland after he had been inducted into the Cleveland Indians franchise hall of fame.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: and I'll never forget I was I was I was really excited about interviewing him and he was a character you know he was really you know he was a drinker and after his playing days he stopped drinking and he became an advocate and and a preached about alcohol abuse and really did a lot of worthwhile work but what do I interview him guys and
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: I said, you know, Sam, it's a pleasure, you know, you were considered the sandy cofacts of the American League.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: And he looked at me and he said, I was faster than cofacts.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Sam McDowell, dead at the age of 84.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_02]: Coming up, we got to get to our NFL slate as well.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get some picks in as well, maybe another little part ride, and I hit a parlay yesterday, so maybe we'll get an one rolling there for the guardians tonight, but folks, physicians ambulance, not all companies are the same.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: And physicians ambulance, excellence, it's not just a buzz word.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's how they operate every single day.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: You have managers that have your back.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: You have some of the newest fleet of vehicles stocked.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: calibrated equipment so you can go out and do your job.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: If you're an EMT, you're a paramedic.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: You're looking for some new work full-time part-time.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_02]: You might be thinking a full-on career change.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_02]: You might just be starting your journey to becoming an EMT or paramedic.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: Reach out to physicians and ambulance.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: They're everywhere.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_02]: The headquarters in Braxel, satellites, and or the Ridgeville men are Kent, Warren, Ashland, Worcester, and now Columbus.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: They're everywhere.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_02]: You'll see them in a run.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: I joke about so I'm you'll see a physician's Amazon before you know it rolling down the street.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_02]: They're everywhere because they're out there.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: They're busy and again during the day it's a lot of skill patient transports.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: They do organ transports when it's come here.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, how about nighttime Friday night Thursday night high school soccer high school football.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_02]: We'll got rocket arena monsters calves browns guardians concerts.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_02]: They're
- 28:29[SPEAKER_02]: everywhere doing that is the event medicine, which is a big pillar, you know, of what they do at physician's ambulance, but they're hiring for the right reasons because they're busy.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_02]: They have work and they want to hire the right people to get out there, make an impact on our community and know when you join physician's ambulance, they want you there for a career.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_02]: They want you there forever.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: That is what they shoot for.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_02]: So reach out today, physiciansambilance.com.

- 29:04[SPEAKER_00]: Now let's shift our attention to our Cleveland Browns and the National Football League.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: 27, 24 Cleveland, a winner over the dreaded Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know the early going.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: of this twenty twenty six campaign is making me remember exciting finishes like a certain browns team and nineteen eighty member the courty yet kids San Batigliato and Brian side not all get me wrong I'm not certainly saying that munken and Watson will give us deja vu
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: But this was the third straight game that Watson let a go ahead drive in the fourth quarter to allow Andre Schmidt to win it with a 56 yard field goal with just 10 seconds remaining in the game.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: was the Brown's eighth straight, Thursday night victory.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's the longest active streak and fourth longest in NFL history.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: And four of them have come ironically against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what a rivalry.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: The rivalry is back.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're safe and saying that meanwhile Pittsburgh is all in ten on the road against AFC North rivals on Thursdays.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: Watson again did what he had to do to win this game, the Brown's defense sector on Rogers five times and delivered 10 quarterback hits on him.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: However, again, the Brown's committed way too many penalties, 14 of them for 88 yards.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's got to be corrected.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: But so far,
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: He's got these guys believing in themselves and that they can win.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a big thing in football, even at the pro level, because football, to a large degree, is a very emotional game.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_02]: they are finding ways to win and you know right now we're talking about this bruise I don't even know what the identity of this team is right now they're just playing good defense they're running the ball when they need to the offense is fine it's not so much like the years of past where it was like oh the defense was dragging this teams to wins or we were just having to run Nick Chub 30 times to try to get wins like they
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: I say this in a positive, like they're identity, they don't have an identity right now, and they'll find that, and it is Watson elevating is play in the fourth quarter.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_02]: You're keeping teams close, like you said, if you just cut down some of the mistakes, I think these games would be easier for you to win, and I fully understand and recognize the teams that you beat.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: you know I don't again we've talked about the Panthers not a big believer the Buccaneers are windless and you beat the Steelers on a short week and obviously they're ready to implode over there you got Aaron Rogers complaining Mike McCarthy and all that kind of stuff but it wins a win I'm never going to complain about that you're finding ways to win you know we'll get ready for the jet's game coming up here but
- 31:57[SPEAKER_02]: You best not lose that little way this is a game the Brown should totally win, but again, finding ways to get it done, you know, the Mason Graham injury, I didn't like seeing that he'll miss some time here, but as far as to Sean Watson, he's gotten better almost every single game that he's played.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's all you can really ask for at this point.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's always a game that you win that you shouldn't.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I should show them.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_00]: So get ready for ball.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: But we'll get to that Jets preview in our prediction segment, which is coming up next.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville, 22, Cincinnati, 17, the Jacksonville defense made two key stops in the red zone versus Joe Burrell,
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: as Trevor Lawrence threw for 227 yards and a touchdown.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: Remember Jacksonville let that road game in Denver get away from them in the second half, but they were not about to lift that happen again.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_00]: First win for Lawrence versus Burrell in four matchups.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: This one's going to be interesting on the outcome here, because by the way, Joe Burrow threw the ball 54 times in that game.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: And now, you had Jamar Chase leave with the concussion, and now, he Higgins missed practice yesterday.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a groin and a neck injury.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: So, Cincinnati has Miami this weekend in an absolute must win.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think they will win.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: But,
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: you know an offense again where you have a quarterback to throw you a 54 times and you could potentially be missing really your top three guys because Andre Yoshiva is about I are after his surgery.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you're going to throw the football too down there if T. Higgins can't play.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: I guess there's optimism that your marches can pass that concussion protocol but still that's a really scary thought if they can't have those two guys for this game this weekend.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: All of our 24 Tennessee 18, the Ravens were coasting to an easy victory and then Lamar Jackson's ankle got rolled over right before the end of the half.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: Good thing the Jackson led the Ravens to a 24 to seven half-time lead because the Ravens didn't score another point the rest of the way.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then now all signs pointing because we have the bravins next week, if this is going to be a multi-week injury, what Lamar kind of looks like.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think at the end of the day two, the titans who I don't think are very good.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: That was just like you said, Bruce, they scored all the points that they need to in the first half and they just kind of coast.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: The air cannery who was back in the end zone.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_02]: Tyler Huntley, who was here, who has been serviceable for Baltimore.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think they're in a real terrible spot.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_02]: I want to split if we have Baltimore and our picks coming up this weekend when they have the Falcons on, I believe that's Monday night football this week, but still when Baltimore and you lose Lamar Jackson, you know, the unfortunate thing is they know what it's like to have not have Lamar too, because he has been injured, but Jesse Minter, how he's going to handle that, I think they're just going to have to hold it off, but the Titans, oh man.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: what's going on there they are literally they have nothing like and I was a cam word fan and I thought cam word can do it but outside of him I know they drafted Carnell Tade he had a buck 45 in that game
- 34:59[SPEAKER_02]: Not a lot going on there for the Tennessee Titans.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you that much Dallas 34 Houston 32 Texans led 23 to 20 entering the fourth quarter and they actually led by four with only two and a half minutes to go in the game.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: What are the odds that Houston will now at Owen four still rallied to make the playoff?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_02]: And the slim, you know, what do you do with C. J. Stroud now the report out of Houston this week is to make a rise.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's taken over defensive play calling now for Houston is kind of kind of a change there.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: What there was another score that they were leading almost by 20 I thought.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_02]: because I just, you know, I was watching other games and I just saw the update and I was like, oh, wow, Houston's actually gonna do this.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_02]: And for a second, I was like, oh, yeah, there's the cowboys that we know and love, like a gamer, you, and again, I'm giving credit to Houston, I think they're good team.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_02]: And then Dallas, like you said, Bruce, 28 points in the second half.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: That is inexcusable from Houston Texans.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_02]: But I guess you gotta give some flowers to deck, press, got, and crew, CD, lamb, woof, what a game.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of starting off at Owen 4, Baker may feel in the Tampa Bay puck and years are Owen 4 following their 17 to 14 loss to Green Bay.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: However, may it's not to blame for this when may feels not to blame for it, because he sat out the game with a dislocated thumb.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: Packers are now two and two.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, you know, Buccaneers tonight too, but I don't really feel better if you're the green may packers.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_02]: You put up 17 points on a, I know Tampa Bay's defense is still very good.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_02]: But like you said, without without Baker may feel on figure, they're going to work Todd Bulls probably going to be out of a job soon.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: All right, New York Giants 36 Arizona 24 don't look now, but the John our ball led giants are off to a three and one start former Brown James whip Winston Summing for the injured Jackson dark got the job done despite two picks.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Malik neighbors buck 12 and a touchdown in that one Matt naggy, the offensive coordinator for the Giants said we got to get him the ball a little bit more and that should be right to the tune and shameless Winston, who of course had to have two interceptions of the game couldn't make it easy for himself.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know, again, for Arizona, a team that we all kind of viewed as like a tanking team, I thought really.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: Again, showed in this game, like I actually picked Arizona to win that game.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_02]: I thought they were going to high scoring there.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_02]: They finally got Marvin the end zone, but that was his only catch with whatever's happening with Marvin Farrison.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_02]: But again, for the Cardinals, I think just keeping, keep close in these games when one or two here feel good about it and kids, they have a team, like they have a really built team.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_02]: They just need to find that quarterback there for Arizona and fix them the defense too.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: L.A. Rams 24, Philadelphia 20, head coach Sean McVay actually huddled his entire offense around him right before the end of the third quarter, with L.A. losing by ten at that time.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: Matt Stafford and Company rallied and pulled off the come from behind, road victory.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I thought Eagles coach Nick, uh, Cereani made a very critical mistake not taking a field goal.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: Which would have put Philadelphia up 23 to 10 late in the fourth quarter.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_00]: Instead, he went for it failed and that cost him big time.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: They're second guessing him this weekend, Philly.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_02]: Philly, I don't know how else to say this.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I'm going to get trouble.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: The Eagles are psychotic.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_02]: The Eagles, the Philadelphia Eagles football team is completely an utterly psychotic.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_02]: What is going wrong?
- 38:23[SPEAKER_02]: Now they lost Seek one in that game?
- 38:25[SPEAKER_02]: and we'll see kind of his injury status going forward here, but like, and they're without Devante Smith.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: Can I make my prediction?
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, please.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_02]: This is my prediction for next year.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: So, eagles are tanking.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, they're not tanking, but they're not trying to make the Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, Jonson Retire, J
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: how we rosemen is going to go all in and go to go get Lamar and Lamar is going to go to fill in.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_02]: I like your thought process.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'll listen to that.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: New England 29 Buffalo 26 not only are Mark Rebels Patriots now six and one against the spread versus Buffalo in their last six meetings, but they won this game outright because in battle quarterback Drake may outplay Josh Allen handing the bills their first loss of the year in New England stays close and proving to two and two.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, still turn over Sir Drake may he had two but he threw three touchdowns in this one and you know it's the same thing Josh Allen threw a touchdown rush for a touchdown James Cook at a touchdown
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: literally, that's it.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's when you can't, when Josh Allen is not scoring multiple multiple touchdowns and either his James Cook.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know who else is.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_02]: Their leading receiver was finally key on Coleman.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: Clish, I just don't know what they do on offense there.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_02]: And then for New England, that felt very much like a must win football game.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_02]: That was one of my favorite picks last week.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_02]: It was almost a touchdown and like you said, Bruce, the Patriots certainly had the bills numbers.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm shocked that they won.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_02]: I really am, but I figured they cover.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: And again, I
- 40:02[SPEAKER_00]: and a sort of 15 Miami 10.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: Tyler Murray and the Vikings lead the NFC Northford for an O and Miami remakes.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: Withless that won't.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_02]: You know, is that, you know, it is not great.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: I know there was obviously a lot of questions about taking, you know, uh, Tyler Murray, obviously, Tyler Murray start.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_02]: It was Carson Wentz, wasn't not.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_02]: That was theirs, they're back up running.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: for the car.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, for the Vikings Vikings.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: They're back up's car.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was went and used playing well.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_02]: So there's some decision to go back to Calamirri.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_02]: Need played fine.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and I think that's the thing.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: They're doing this without Justin Jefferson who didn't play the questions.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: If he'll play this weekend, and then Miami is just garbage.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: They're just hot garbage.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_00]: San Francisco 24, Denver 14, Brock Perti and running back Christian McCafferty scored three straight touchdowns in the second half to put the Broncos away.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: And they are now two and two.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_02]: You know, there's only one quarterback in the NFL that has yet to be sacked the season.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's Brock party.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: Now for the defense for Denver.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know what, so you've got to go all the way back to for that.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_02]: More games of a quarter, about four games to start the season.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: With artists season where the offensive line has not given up a single sack.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm almost positive, correct.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just thinking maybe wrong in the year, but I'm pretty sure it's 2005, Peyton Manning with the Colts.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, out there, I mean.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: that's pretty good and the same thing San Francisco with their electrical substation dealing with injuries left and right to like Mike Evans able to fight through his rib injury, kiddo got back in the ends on there.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: For Denver, uh, number one Sean Peyton is involved in the offense more.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: They made the announcement today.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's weird.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like it sounds like Davis Web is still going to call plays or the Davis Mills, whatever whichever Davis web.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's still going to call plays, but now
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Payton's like overseeing it more, I don't know, and then defensively they're going to lose paths for Tane for a couple of games too.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: So Andrew's starting to pile up for Denver.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_02]: Did you?
- 41:57[SPEAKER_02]: And why don't get her?
- 41:58[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, paparazzi.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to have to go on IR for them, too.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, San Francisco just looks like a jungle again with all these injuries.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_02]: They just look like such a juggernaut right now.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_00]: Kansas City, 30 Las Vegas, 27 and so upset myself, and I will never ever, ever, I promise you allow Matt Fontana and Tyler over here to influence me to change my opinion.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of the greatest rivalries in the NFL because these are the two original AFL teams and they represented that renegade conference that league in the first two super balls and forced the NFL to merge with those AFL teams.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: They would have covered the raiders covered in this game and I was going to take them until I let these two go.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: We're looking forward to review the race.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_00]: I promise I will never ever do that again.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_02]: They literally scored.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_02]: They got the fumble and Kenneth Walker scored a three minutes to go.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_02]: The defense just like you go to question it.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_02]: The window and Las Vegas.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: They don't again.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_00]: Five play by the party.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: The party.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: Whether you like your or not.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_02]: You like.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: Her cousin, Patrick Maharm, threw two touchdown passes in this Kenneth Walker.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_02]: So good.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: 177 yards and two touchdowns.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_00]: However, cousins and the rival Raiders were out to prove that their three and no start was no fluke.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_00]: Chiefs at four or no are one of only three teams along with San Francisco and Minnesota who remain undefeated.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: That 65 yard drive.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't see a third down.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_02]: That like literally the chief swirges like oh we don't we'll just back it up here and Kirk Cuz it'll find watch this they didn't get a third they didn't get to a third down on that drive How does that happen?
- 43:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand to the cover, but
- 43:51[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, I feel bad about that.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: But it was a fun, you know, the Raiders.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_02]: Raiders always fun games.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Raiders are good.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's two teams historically.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: When one is great and the other one isn't, it'll still find a way to cover and vice versa.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing if you track those two teams.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and then they get the ball back.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_02]: to just try to pick up a first down and they can't do it, you know, and then they have to put it back.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_02]: So you're raw watching to see if, you know, cousins can get them back down the field.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_02]: I ain't got close.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_02]: You got pretty close, but that was, it was a really, really, really, really fun game to watch.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: See, I don't, 30 of you.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, charges, 23.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: The FedEx Super Bowl champions are three and one.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_00]: And Jim Harbaugh's chargers.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: I want to five teams yet to win a game.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: The others are
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: Since 1992, only one team has started off O and four and made the playoffs.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: Ironically, it was the chargers.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: Then in San Diego, when they beat coincidentally, Seattle 17 to six and then went on to finish at 11 and five and went the AFC West.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the the the chargers are so broken.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and for Seattle, they lost a daring price.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: He's on IR.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: They just pick up the manuals and former packer and he rushes for a touchdown as well.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he didn't even like seem borrowing anything cracked 200 yards in that game.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_02]: The chargers though.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: What do they do?
- 45:18[SPEAKER_02]: They show some life.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: But like, I don't know what they do or who they are.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like what they're trying to do.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_02]: And six interceptions now in the season for Justin Herbert, he had two in that.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_02]: And he's been sack 12 times this season four of them on Sunday.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know if it's his fault.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_02]: Can't keep mup right.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the interceptions are his fault.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_02]: Lad McConkey's hurt, Quentin Johnston, you can't find him.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_02]: Martin Hampton can't run the football.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_02]: I know the chargers are going to do because yeah, they're, they're, they're, you know what, watch them like be the second pick and take Jeremiah Smith.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_02]: Watch that happen.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry for Jim Harbaud.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't feel sorry
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: Lions are no two or two that yeah, I mean that game I thought that was for sure the Lions I continue to keep crap it on the Panthers and they keep proving me wrong Tett McMix which I think is more of like a statement about Denzel Ward who locked Tett McMix Millen down and then he goes for nearly 200 yards in that game you mentioned Shuba Hubbard I'm glad you did Bruce he is
- 46:32[SPEAKER_02]: I want to say, come back player of the year, like potential on that because he just wasn't very good.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: He has to be on reward.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Sean, when that, but like the resurgence of him has been incredible and like you said, Bryce, young, just getting in done.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_02]: The Lions.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_02]: ass.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they are.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_02]: Calvin Shepherd ass.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the defense that they was so funny, he held the clipboard up to like hide his mouth while he was calling the place and somebody's like, don't know what he needs to steal your place.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_00]: Your defense is not.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_02]: They don't need to steal your place.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, baseball that with the glove.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, come on.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_00]: they just they just lost so many guys they've just lost so many guys of being injured or leaving or whatever they've done I believe I'm correct on this fellow is the bears and the lions plan Thanksgiving game to try to do that not sounds right so mean I think so that'll be an interesting game that'll be fun on turkey day all right up next our predictions
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: We got it all, that is correct, by the way.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: I just looked it up Thanksgiving.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_02]: They have the early game.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_02]: They're the one o'clock game there and Thanksgiving.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: But you got that room in your house that's just warmer in the summer and then we're really cold in the winter.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_02]: You can't even spend any time in it because it's just too extreme on the other side.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_02]: You got curtains that are moving all the windows are shut.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's not haunted, it's drafty.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_02]: The third estimate will do a free window inspection.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_02]: Show you exactly where the outside air is getting into your home
- 47:55[SPEAKER_02]: making it hot, making it cold, spending your money when you're cranking the AC or cranking the furnace, and it could be something I say relative of simple of windows, but that's what the third estimate could come in.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: I know you're thinking, man, it's probably the installation, or it's just hold home.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_02]: It might be your window.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_02]: So they'll come in, they'll take a look with a free window inspection.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_02]: And if you do need work, they will give you a written price that's good for six months, absolutely no pressure.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: What's the lose?
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: If you have questions, have them come out.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: You have the paper, the document, the money, and you can sit down with your spouse and make that decision.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_02]: Do we want to start saving now and do this in the spring?
- 48:31[SPEAKER_02]: We need to get this done right now that you do it all for you.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: So book your free estimate and your free inspection at the the third estimate dot com.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's the third estimate dot com or call Ryan.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_02]: You remember this?
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: One, two, three, four windows.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_02]: That is easy.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_02]: One, two, three, four windows.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Ryan was not with us last week.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: He had to take off because he was blackmailed by his love of his life to go to a concert.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_00]: I made the right call.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: It'sburg.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: In Pittsburgh.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_00]: He found his own record concert.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: Instead of being here and reporting on the big game between the Browns and the St.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: I need to let everybody know I'm playing chess not checkers.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: You do understand the Super Bowl's on Valentine's Day this year.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: I need to clear my schedule for when the Browns are in the Super Bowl on Valentine's Day, and I can sit there on my house, not a Browns and would you not be okay?
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: Then she would understand tell you this Felix Valentine's Day more than the Browns.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_01]: I do not.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Pat McGuire subfer Ryan and last year when he subfer Ryan needed very well in the prediction segment he was seven and one that day Ryan not so good this year.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_00]: He was five three and five now Matt was four and four and improvement.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take it on the season.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: Matt is 12 and 21.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_00]: Ryan is 11 and 14, and you're truly last week one five and three.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I am now 19 and 14.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a big fat target for these youngsters.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: Why didn't you bet the Raiders?
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: Here we go.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, never again.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: Never again.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: My picks are all of you.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_00]: That was the one I did to have a circle.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: I let you guys here.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think every week we should be allowed to take one back.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'll give that one back to Bruce.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_00]: I want my Lions pick Philadelphia plus seven and a half for Jacksonville minus seven.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: The game's being played in London.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: You may be surprised.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: I got to take Philadelphia, I think.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: They should have won that game against the Rams, all the pressure in the world design them, but they'll be less pressure because they're playing in front of the Brits, who don't know anything about football.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna take the Eagles as well on a back door, stinky, I don't like it, cover.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if they'll win, and I'm with you Bruce, I think the time of ways is gonna help.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kind of watching Devante Smith and this one, I don't think he's gonna play, I don't think St. Crohn's gonna play.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna have to be an ugly low scoring game,
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: You're like Jacksonville win, but not cover.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I do like Jacksonville.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I like Jacksonville win, but seven is too much.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, like again, I've talked about this before, you're an eagle for Thursday night football and the international games.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: I love the dog and the under.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of what I do.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll ride the dog here.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: Ryan's one too.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man, I'm going all the way opposite.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: Give me the Jaguar as minus seven and a half.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_01]: They just watched Wayne Johnson.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: They traded Cam Jurrogans.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: Good luck in one week trying to fix out that offense.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say, Clons, hurt.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're playing a great rush defense.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_01]: They're not going to be able to throw the ball.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_02]: Fair enough.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_00]: We'll start with Ryan now.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: The Chicago Bears are visiting Green Bay.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_00]: I mentioned that Kansas City Raiders rivalry.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_00]: This rivalry is even bigger in the National Football League between the Bears and Green Bay.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: I said Lambo and Chicago is if you if you take the Bears here, guys, you're minus one and a half.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: But if you take Green Bay, you're going to get two and a half.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_00]: I got these lines this morning.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead, Ryan.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, uh, give me the packers.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: I just still don't know how great the bears are without Caleb Williams.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't doubt Ben Johnson's genius, but you're playing in Lambo.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: I like the crowd to get the packers type.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_01]: Give me the packers.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_02]: I will take the bears in this one.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: They're just the better football team.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's, we need to come to the realization that the Packers are not a good football team.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: They're just not.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: So I will take the bears to cover here.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going the way.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_00]: Back in Lambo, they can't lose at Lambo field again.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_00]: That would be so, it's catastrophic.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a religion up there.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_00]: San Francisco was plus three at San, at Seattle.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: If you take Seattle, it's minus two and a half Matt, your turn.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: My gut says San Francisco, because like I said, I call them in juggernauts, I'll ride my gut on this one, but I don't like it Seattle.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_02]: Um, they looked just fine without your daring price.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: The defense is electric.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, I'll take caution in a hand, though, to somehow get behind that.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, absolutely.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, Bruce, I just kind of jumped the gun there, but I'll go, uh, yeah.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers plus your other way.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Brock Pertis, the quarterback MVP, what he's been doing with all those rotating injuries, is phenomenal Kyle Shanahan, once again, just reminding everybody in a stacked NFC West.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we're still here.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: How's that game not prime time by the way?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_00]: How did they not play that?
- 53:04[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_00]: I it's unanimous.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: I have to go as Frisco as well.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_00]: Right now.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_00]: They may be the best team to bet for the Super Bowl.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_00]: Next Buffalo is getting three at LAA against the Rams Rams minus three.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_00]: I got to go Rams in this one fellas.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: Alan is so unpredictable.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's a phenomenal, phenomenal talent, and I'm on record many years ago saying the Brown should have taken him instead of Baker Mayfield, but in this particular game, I like the Super Bowl contending Rams out of the NFC.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'll take the rams at home as well again, them trying to maybe write the ship.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_02]: They get puked into Kua back.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think that'll help.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_02]: I will take the rams to cover as well.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take the bills.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_01]: Staffers throwing turnovers, bills like you said.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_01]: If the bills can at least get a couple turnovers, as even if they're playing bad, that gives the bills an advantage.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: I trust Josh Allen to keep it competitive late.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take the bills closer.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_00]: All right, and Ryan, you're going to get the first shot at this one Cleveland is getting two points at New York against the jets if you take the jets.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's minus one and a half gold.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I'm taking the Cleveland Browns right now.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_01]: I have no reason to go against them.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: The jets right now played okay ball looked like they were going to be two and oh and then since then they've kind of crapped the bed Browns waiting for that offensive playbook to open up and man when it does.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think this team's going to be dangerous.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_02]: There is no excuse for the Browns to lose this game.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_02]: None.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_02]: Cleveland all the way on this one.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: I know I'm a little worried about Garrett Wilson.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_02]: There were some stats this week about him versus man coverage.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_02]: How much the Browns run man coverage meet Denzel Ward.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_02]: Your former buck eye.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_02]: Your your your your buck eye brethren here.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_02]: And I think we do put up enough points there.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to take the Browns to win outright.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's unanimous.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_00]: I take Cleveland all the way.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_00]: I've got four college games for you guys.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_00]: Texas, the Red River rivalry is upon us and Texas is minus seven and a half games always played in the cotton bowl and Dallas so Oklahoma plus seven and a half.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going sooners.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think Texas will do what they do mostly under Syracusian.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_00]: They'll play well enough to win, but not cover.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that's a lot of points.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oklahoma's got something to prove considering a disappointing start to the season.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's actually a huge game for the Texas Longhorns because people are questioning them even at number one.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_02]: I will take Texas to cover, I think Oklahoma kind of stuff.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: I have a question.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_01]: Did John Metier play in the Red River rivalry last year?
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: Was he, was that, I think that's when he got this close.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that's when he got it.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think if he didn't play in it last year, his last year, this means something to him and I don't want to bet on him, but I'm going to go against myself, give me Oklahoma to come.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, all right, next game is Oregon minus 11 at all, against Chesney.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_00]: Chesney's a coach very similar to Signetti, proving that he can come from a smaller program, go to a big school and revitalize them.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, Indiana was the worst of all, but you see LA is undefeated.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: Now if you take the Euclans, you get 11 and a half, Oregon minus 11, take it away, guys.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_02]: I will take Oregon pretty emphatically on this one.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_02]: I think this line is meant to sucker people in.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_02]: UCLA is a fraudulent for no, because they've not really played anybody of substance.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_02]: Oregon, I know they lose Dante more, he's already ruled out.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_02]: Dylan Ray will look just fine in that mop up duty.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's in Eugene.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think this is an easy to touch down game for the ducks they will cover.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_02]: I really I think they're trying to sucker people in on this 11.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_01]: I really do I don't know how you can be comfortable betting double digits on a work and from what we've seen from them this year I'll take you see a lay everybody knows Dante more, but Nico, I am Eliavo your member him.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I remember Tennessee Oh, yeah, and he runs like a gazelle.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think he can get it down with his legs.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take you see a lay
- 56:35[SPEAKER_00]: Matt, I couldn't agree with you more on two points.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, I think it's a sucker bet.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot of points today.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_00]: A college or pro, and they want you to take UCLA.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_00]: Until UCLA proves they can beat somebody, noteworthy.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_00]: I got to go Oregon and the other factor.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're better off with my ol' of them.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_00]: They are, but don't do more on that again.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_02]: That was coming from Bruce.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't disagree for right now.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not done with my boy.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a phenomenal guy.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_02]: He was very good.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he was very good.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_02]: We'll talk about that in a minute.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Southern Cal is plus one and a half at Penn State Campbell's troops, and that knee lions minus one and a half.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_00]: What do you say, guys?
- 57:13[SPEAKER_01]: I will not be betting Penn State you lose to Luke Fickle.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: It was by the lake.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's giving Luke Flower, Luke Fickle flowers.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, you lost a rockel back to Matt Campbell.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_01]: Lake, give me a break.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_02]: So this, there's two points on this game that I've been talking about.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to take you a second.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_02]: So there's two points on this game that I think I've been talking with people about this all week.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, it's the West Coast team coming east.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_02]: And usually that is a recipe for disaster for that team coming out.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_02]: But then, another person I was talking to, they said, yeah, but if you looked at the bet percentage in the handle.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_02]: So the bet percentage, for those who don't know, it's just I have placed a bet.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_02]: And that's how many bets are on this side for this team or that percent.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_02]: So that is like 52 percent.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's like split down the middle between USC and Penn State.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_02]: But if you look at the handle,
- 58:03[SPEAKER_02]: which is like Ryan and Bruce could both bet $5 bets.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's two bets.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_02]: My bet's $30.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's more money than the handle.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_02]: 80% of the handle is on Penn State in this game.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_02]: So that tells you the sharps really liked the nittany lions.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_02]: I hate this game.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_02]: I hate it so much.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I chose that.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_00]: Don't be a square.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a USC.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like it, but I will take US.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I agree.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a trap game.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_00]: The Nittany Lions, especially if there'll be another white out, you know that.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I gotta go to Trojans as well.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think all the pressure in the world is unlinkin' rightly in this one.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_00]: And bottom line is, I think Southern Cal is a better team than Penn State, and they gotta make up for how they collapsed in that second half against Oregon.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Georgia plus one and a half at Alabama minus one and a half.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, brother, is this a big one?
- 58:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'll volunteer first.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think Georgia is the best team in the country, except for maybe Ohio State.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_00]: But I got to go Georgia here, even though it's entire country.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_02]: It is in Tuscaloos so that gives me a pause.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_02]: Keelen Russell, who's all of some probably the third favorite.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe now to win the highs of an impediment once you're looking at.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna be such a good game.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_02]: Give me Alabama.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, give me Alabama.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like it.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_01]: I remember last year, man.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to say I made the mistake.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: What a good game it was.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not going to do it again.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm taking Georgia.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know they lost last time in Bama, but kill on Russell.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_01]: Still so young.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think Georgia's defense again reminding everybody.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're one of the top units in the country Gunner stocked in probably one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the country out to me and Bruce We're always on that same wave about Georgia always under appreciated.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_01]: I love the under 51 and a half.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_00]: I love the under I like Kirby Spartan smart over his opponent too.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, all right.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_00]: When we come back We will look at the new top 25 associated press poll and analyze what has happened and what is to come?
- 59:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's next
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_00]: Westsideers you better get ready pizza to one six right near me.

- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_02]: plenty of bar space plenty of TVs over 20 draft beers plus a many that goes way beyond the pizza.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_02]: It's the place to bring the crew and start your night downtown as pizza 216 grab that food head on over cheer on the baseball cheer on the basketball.

- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_00]: Well, our Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked number five in the AP poll for this week following a 31 to 14 trouncing of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_00]: Heismantrophy candidate Julian Sayon through for 324 yards against one of the best defenses in the country.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_00]: Heisman trophy candidate Jeremiah Smith caught an 11 passes for 260 yards and became Ohio states all time leader in reception 200 and 7 receiving yards 3,381 in touchdowns at 36.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_00]: Also, running back to Kobe, Johnson, Rush for 72 yards and running back to Bojax and Rush for 70 yards, again, against one of the best offensive units in the country.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: And on top of all this, the Ohio State defense held the improved Iowa offense to two field goals until late in the game when the outcome had long been decided.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_00]: This was a very impressive win for Coach Day and the Buckeyes and up next for Ohio State after next week, home game versus Maryland next week and then a trip to defending champion Indiana and to Southern Cal.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_00]: And let me also point this out about this possible scenario.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_00]: Coach Kirk Farence's number 20 ranked Iowa Hawkeyes.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_00]: will play at Washington tomorrow night, then they play at Minnesota, home to Wisconsin, at Northwestern home to Purdue, at Illinois, and home to Nebraska, notice.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_00]: They don't have to play Indiana, Oregon, Southern Cal, or Penn State.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's feasible that if they run the table and stand at 11 and 1,
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_00]: Should they be considered for the playoff?
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think they will be, that's a question of what Oregon does.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like outside of that, maybe what USC does.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_02]: But the other thing that's kind of just non-Me is, how many SEC teams are they gonna take?
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_02]: The SEC has nine of the top 17 teams in A people.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_02]: So, as the playoff gets closer, the ACC's only gonna get one.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna be Miami, that's all they deserve.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe two out of the big 12.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_02]: I actually think it might only be one then may you you'll get two out of the big 10 But maybe three you know Notre Dame's gonna come in.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_02]: What's that leaf seven spots?
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know when you start adding up all this you're just gonna give them all the SEC they might like there's a real world that six of the 12 teams Oh, yeah, they gave Alabama bid that didn't design they didn't deserve it last year right like you text look Texas Georgia Alabama
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_02]: Ole Miss, you know, maybe Ellis you and him's not out of it yet and I think Florida is either I know they had a bad loss in Missouri, but I don't think Florida's out of this either When you get so much exactly you just like down okay that happens that Ohio's they're okay Ohio State Indiana those probably the two from the big 10 again maybe Iowa all this new 100% or maybe Oregon But then again you start adding it up.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think there's like the SEC is gonna be huge in this big 12 But I think it's gonna either be 12 will get to
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_00]: BYU and next is actually thing I don't know about that actually they go close for what BYU Yeah, I don't know they get they have to play at Notre Dame if they get trounced Or they play at home against Notre Dame if they get trounced at home by Notre Dame Yeah, but they can be a one-loss conference champion.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_01]: You're not keeping it out.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but you said that you said the big 12 will get Jim But I think Texas tackle get into
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't agree if they're both one loss are here's text is text schedule the rest of the way out.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_02]: They're five and oh by the way So their Arizona State Cincinnati Arizona West Virginia then they have Oklahoma State Baylor and TCU.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_02]: They damn well better go on to feed it
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm with you, Matt.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see, you know, and especially because the committee is going to be under such pressure after last year with two lame James Madison and I say Alabama.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Texas is still number one.
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_00]: They were right.
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_00]: They got the red river rivalry against Oklahoma.
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_00]: We're already covered that.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_00]: Number two is Georgia.
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they had a 38 to 14 window of random built.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_00]: And after the dogs jumped to a seven to nothing, first quarter league Vandy came back to tie the game.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's the first time this season that a team has scored on Georgia in the first quarter.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_00]: The dogs had outscored their opponents, 63 to nothing before that score.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_00]: However, that was the last to raw for the comedors.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and for Georgia, they're just, they haven't really played anybody.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's it.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that was their first kind of real test in this one.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_02]: So that's where a lot of people are going to see where Georgia stacks up.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_02]: But the same thing for Georgia outside Alabama, Florida Ole Miss Missouri.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't think they're going to miss the playoff, but there's a path there if they don't get off.
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_02]: If they lose Alabama.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_02]: You know, two losses they probably would still make it, but have the easiest schedule of all the contenders in the SEC for the most part.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, yeah, Alabama's got a gauntlet coming out to welcome the SEC.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and this thing, what's the bias towards the SEC, right?
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_02]: When you sit there and be like, oh, look at all these good teams are you going to give credit if you keep it close or even if you lose.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, and we could see a three loss team in the playoffs.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I didn't have a promo that so much last year with Alabama as I did that they got in over Notre Dame.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_00]: That was my problem.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not the Miami thing.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_00]: Miami deserved it over Notre Dame because they beat him head up.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_00]: Number three is Notre Dame.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the rain forced the Irish to rely on the run to control the pesky bill, bell-a-checked tire heels.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_00]: Notre Dame ran for a season I-241 yards and despite the rain, Irish quarterback C.J.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_00]: Car still managed to throw for four touchdown passes.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_00]: Notre Dame entered this game with the nation's number one ranked defense, going up, giving up just a hundred and ninety-nine yards per contest.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_00]: North Carolina gained four hundred and sixteen yards versus the Irish who won their 15th strike game.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, again, you talk about that defense is just so electric for Notre Dame and, you know, it's solid for them again, like you said, the rain kind of didn't want to read too much into that box score there for North Carolina.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it was so much them.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_00]: All right, number four is Miami, 41 to 13 victory over Clemson.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_00]: The Tigers ended the game as a 17 and a half point home underdog.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's the largest in Debo, Swenie's era.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_00]: And this was the fourth worst loss for Clemson under Swenie's leadership.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_00]: Is this the last season for him?
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's got to be, you know, it's just got to be.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_02]: They just they have nothing going for them right now.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_02]: They they're not in the same level as these P4 schools that they used to dominate.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_02]: They used to be the favorite in these types of games for the you, you know, Mark Fletcher is still one of the better running backs.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_02]: If not, ma'am, boss pretty good too, but he's one of the best backs in football.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_02]: He had a couple touchdowns and I can.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mentioned Ohio State is five.
- 1:07:48[SPEAKER_00]: Number six is Alabama.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_00]: The up one spot in the AP pole, 56 to 23 victory versus previously unbeaten Mississippi State.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_00]: The tied out gained the dogs 170, 9 to 18 on the ground.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_00]: The victory was a 17th straight for Bamba versus the bulldogs and the last seven by 23 points or more.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_00]: The home loss exposes Mississippi State.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_02]: it did kind of end the camaraderie with sailor hype for just a little bit but yeah bam is just the better you know team and complete but again I think the right no huge way of momentum coming into this Georgia game this weekend
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Indiana is number seven coastsignetti's whooshers got back on track after that close call against Northwestern.
- 1:08:31[SPEAKER_00]: They're 47 to 15 win overapolis.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_02]: Is that not three straight weeks that they've dropped a spot?
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_02]: Even though they've won, that tells you who they're playing.
- 1:08:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that tells you the optics, but they've got to brasska.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_02]: Don't expect a huge test there, you know, from that rule and crew, but it is in I just encoded that game with our products.
- 1:08:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I thought a lot about that game.
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_02]: I actually talked a lot about that game.
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't think Indiana's going to have any problems with the press.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_00]: Even though we're improved the last couple of seasons has still proven to be a pretender.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 1:09:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, a little bit like Clandry, they're they're they're quarterback.
- 1:09:10[SPEAKER_02]: He's fun to watch.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_02]: He's a really good player.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_02]: I just think you know, they should have kept running.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_02]: You want to see what you want of the hell.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_02]: My goodness.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_02]: Race.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, the game is 10 and it's kind of crazy to think about, like, the game is 10.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_02]: If that was Ohio State playing Nebraska, they'd be 17 if not 20, but that tells you everything about any.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_00]: Number eight is BYU.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_00]: Now they're up to spots, following their 17 win over TCU, number nine Ole Miss was idle,
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_00]: Number 10 was LSU this week, 63 to 14 victory over McNEast State.
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_00]: 11's Texas Tech, 12 is Utah, 13 is Oregon Idol.
- 1:09:52[SPEAKER_00]: They got the UCLA game.
- 1:09:53[SPEAKER_00]: We previewed that.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_00]: Number 14's Missouri.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_00]: Up a leather.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're up 11 spots and they play Texas A and M, 15 is Tennessee, but let's talk about Florida who's down eight spots.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_00]: And they follow.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_00]: 45 to 17 thrashing at Missouri.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Hard to believe, was this decisive loss?
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_00]: What does that say about the Gators, following their win over Ole Miss?
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_00]: Are they not as good as we thought or is Missouri better than we thought?
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_00]: How good is Ole Miss?
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_00]: The only answer I can give is that to these questions is the SEC, tap the bottom.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's the best conference in the country.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_02]: They held Jaden Baud to one yard per carry.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yet 12 carries for 13 yards.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that is incredible.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_02]: I got to give it some Missouri's defense.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's what it was.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'll listen to the massive, let-down game, but just when you can't even run the football, Jaden Baud's pretty impressive on the Missouri side of things.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll give credit to the Tigers.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_02]: That was, I don't wanna say a school altering win there, but that's a pretty big one there.
- 1:11:02[SPEAKER_01]: Austin Simmons, he came from Ole Miss.
- 1:11:05[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that Trinidad took this job and made him transfer.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, also Minnesota knocked off.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_00]: Michigan.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I need an important hand coach Kyle Winningham said and I quote,
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_00]: I've been in the profession for forty some years and this is the biggest challenge that I've had.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_00]: Well, hello.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to Ann Arbor.
- 1:11:28[SPEAKER_02]: And then they got tight ends that insects or tweets out that people got were making fun of the team.
- 1:11:33[SPEAKER_02]: They're just they're so bad.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_02]: Price under what is very bad.
- 1:11:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like they're just watching them go up and flames just just worms my heart.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_02]: The burning at Ann Arbor just worms me up down here.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Nebraska 48 Maryland 23 that coach in Maryland's going to get fired any day.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_00]: Huskers are five and oh, but of course they got the big one up against Indiana.
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_00]: They are unranked.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_00]: And number 18, USC 25 Washington 21.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_00]: What does it say about Washington?
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_00]: Again, USC lost in the second half to Oregon, but do we yet know about Washington or is this an indicator?
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_02]: No, I think that the Huskies are just kind of what they are there that mid-level type team where it's just like outside of those panics years when they had Caleb before he left.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_02]: they're just always going to be like a 500.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_02]: They're better than like Rutgers and Purdue in Maryland.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, but if they're not, I doubt it'll ever be the Ohio State.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_00]: They're just kind of the memory of the Don James National Championship.
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_02]: They're just, you know, and it's a modern Williams is a good quarterback.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's fun to watch, but I just don't know how much other talent they have around them.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_00]: And Northwestern Beating Penn State, as we mentioned, 34 to 13, what a thrashing for Coach Campbell.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's all the time.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_00]: We've got guys for this week's version of the Big Play Cleveland show Thursday version of it here on YouTube.
