  Speaker 1: once was. I've apologized and asked for forgiveness repeatedly. Sought reconciliation,

  Speaker 1: all to no avail. To this person, None of those

  Speaker 1: things matters. While the most recent punishment for my past

  Speaker 1: came as a shock, and I can't get into details

  Speaker 1: because it's not my story alone, I will say that

  Speaker 1: I am crushed, unable to move forward, not sure what

  Speaker 1: to do. I woke up this morning truly not sure

  Speaker 1: what to do, literally. A soul paralysis has overtaken me,
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: and I can't seem to make myself do anything. But
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: maybe that's the point. Maybe I'm not supposed to do anything,

  Speaker 1: at least not in my own strength. The Lord Almighty,
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: through Zechariah, has this to say, not by might nor
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: by power, but by my spirit. And in John 15
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: verse 5, Jesus directly states, apart from me, you can
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: do nothing. While I don't know what I can possibly
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: do to rectify the situation, I do know that I
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: must keep moving forward. Here's how I'm doing that. Remembering.

  Speaker 1: I'm going to remember the faithfulness of God. Throughout the Bible,

  Speaker 1: we are instructed to remember the deeds of the Lord.

  Speaker 1: And truly, I have so much to remember. God has
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: moved mightily in my own life, as well as in
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: the lives of those who have gone before me. God's
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: faithfulness is a sure thing. Therefore, I will spend this
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: season remembering. trusting. When I don't trust God, I try
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: to fix things myself. Maybe I don't trust God's timing,
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: or perhaps I don't trust that he'll truly take care
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: of the situation. And here's the thing, God probably won't
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: move in my timing, but God does promise that at
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: That I can trust. And maybe things won't turn out
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: the way I want them to, But God does promise
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: to work together for the good of those who love

  Speaker 1: God and are called according to His purpose for them.

  Speaker 1: I am purposing to trust God when I don't know
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: what else to do. Hoping. I mean more than an

  Speaker 1: I hope the weather's nice this weekend kind of hope.

  Speaker 1: I need hope that's real, that goes beyond superficial wishful thinking.

  Speaker 1: I want the deep kind of hope that comes from
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: knowing God will move in a way that blesses our
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: whole family. Biblical hope is a confident expectation rooted in
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: God's character and His promises. That's the hope I'm holding
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: on to. After all, we have this hope as an
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Grieving. There are
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: many things in life that need to be grieved, and
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: for me, this is one of them. I get that
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: choices have consequences. However, I do not believe that a
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: person should have their mistakes held against them for the
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: rest of their life. That said, I know I need
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: to grieve. I don't want to push down those painful
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: emotions that have surfaced. I want to grieve and grow.
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: And so, I will grieve what could have been, all
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: the while hoping for what will be again one day.
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: Praying When I don't know what to do, I can pray.
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: And when I don't know what to pray, I know
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: that the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: not know what we ought to pray for, but the
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. Tears are
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: prayers too. I pray that way. And I have the
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: comfort of knowing that Jesus is interceding for me before
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: the Father. I shall join Jesus in praying. praising. Praise
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: and worship are tools for spiritual warfare, and I am
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: facing a huge battle. And so, when I don't know
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: what to do in the meantime, I will focus on
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: the Lord and not my circumstances. I will praise and
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: worship the Lord, for He is worthy, no matter what
• 6:11
  Speaker 1: I am facing. This is how I will fight my battle,
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: for this battle is not against flesh and blood, but
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: in the heavenly realms. When I don't know what to do,
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: I will praise the Lord. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: are grateful that nothing takes you by surprise. You know
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: all and are in control of all. So when life
• 6:46
