- 0:12Sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics
- 0:16current events and pop culture. This is he's the Whitfield
- 0:20Report with Sam Whitfield. Well, that was interesting, the
- 0:43intro kind of froze up there for a sec.
- 0:46But anyway, folks welcome to with the field report and
- 0:52Welcome to our guests. The show has come down with a
- 0:56case of toxic man, flew, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:00So you do exceeding such everyone and hope your Saturday
- 1:07night is going well. And yeah, I'm honored to have
- 1:13toxic man flew on. Who honestly, I don't know that
- 1:18much about talks, man. Whose background other than that
- 1:22for the uninitiated. He is one of the Co-hosts of
- 1:27comics division in that channel Lana youtube and he's friends
- 1:32with Gary from neurotic and the critical Drinker and that whole
- 1:38lot of, you know, nerdy kind of Pop Culture when they claim
- 1:42occasional. Yeah.
- 1:46You know, cultural Warriors. So anyway, sir, welcome to the
- 1:50program. How are you doing tonight?
- 1:52Doing doing? Okay, I'm recovering from The
- 1:56whole family had this crud unknown virus.
- 1:59They called it for a couple of weeks.
- 2:03So, my voice is a little bit deeper than normal but feeling
- 2:08good, we got a lot of stuff done today, looking forward to doing
- 2:12a lot of things tomorrow, get in the house up and in order and
- 2:17mrs. Flu went out and did a lot of
- 2:19good work with the garden yesterday and today, and say
- 2:25every day that Do I spend above ground is a good day, so happy
- 2:28to be here. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:31That's kind of my motto too. You know, it's interesting as
- 2:35crazy as you know, the current state of the world is, you know,
- 2:41with everything going on. I do try to be, you know,
- 2:46somewhat optimistic as far as well.
- 2:49You know, the world might be going to shit, but, you know, as
- 2:53long as we have our families and our friends And you know, in our
- 2:57case a good Community, I did online as well then there can't
- 3:02be too much to rely complain about that's kind of how I see
- 3:05things but that's a good attitude to have.
- 3:09I find myself doing my best to try and keep that attitude
- 3:13doesn't always happen. Doesn't always happen.
- 3:16These last two and sure here's all the stuffs been.
- 3:20It's taking a toll on me. I know mentally.
- 3:22But I mean we'll get into the hole.
- 3:25The stuff that with comics and getting into that and Friday
- 3:29night, tight stuff and all those here a little.
- 3:31Yeah yeah I yeah I mean I think this this whole kind of era of
- 3:39the pandemic like host Apex game and I join who will be joining
- 3:44us later he and I talked out you know that a lot how you know
- 3:49there's a lot of you know shit that's going on but then there's
- 3:54also a lot of shit that The shit that is already out there and
- 3:57gets magnified a lot because of the internet and because of, you
- 4:02know, the media and and whatnot. And, you know, the three the
- 4:07whole, the whole thing with, like the pandemic and what not
- 4:11like it got, you know, at it, got exacerbated a lot because,
- 4:17you know, there was the whole vaccinated versus unbe, you
- 4:20know, vaccinated things and write something like could have
- 4:23been a unifying moment for Humanity.
- 4:25The you know, once again became you know the morally Superior
- 4:31were vaccinated versus, you know, the oil.
- 4:34You know on vax drag right, you know, and will not so yeah and
- 4:39it's you know it's not with that stuff.
- 4:41It shouldn't have been about. Whether or not the information
- 4:49that was coming out, all of that.
- 4:51We didn't need this information on both sides.
- 4:54We need to know what the truth was so that we can make an
- 4:57informed decision. It was the forcing others to do
- 5:02something that was experimental, which is what the Nazis did, of
- 5:08course, and stuff that Gina had brought up Gina, Carano and got
- 5:12her fired from all that. Whenever we force, Up on others
- 5:17against their will. I don't think it ever turns out
- 5:19well from that stem. Yeah, no.
- 5:22Yeah, no. It never does.
- 5:25And she was, you know, absolutely right about all of
- 5:29that, you know, into that and you know, to the end someone on
- 5:35Twitter who, you know, follows me as he was in my, you know,
- 5:40DMS and I off and asked me if I had seen the Kenobi series yet.
- 5:45And as I And as I've mentioned on the show before I really
- 5:49haven't supported anything that Disney has done since they, you
- 5:54know, fired Gina. It wasn't just because of Gina,
- 5:58but it was that plus the fact that Disney pause was costing me
- 6:0460, you know, nine dollars a year then, you know, and I
- 6:08wasn't using it that much anyway.
- 6:10But you know, there was that whole thing and I'm right, I
- 6:13hear that. I from what I've heard Cano.
- 6:16Is awful. Well, the missus has been
- 6:20watching it and I it's been up and down so she's doesn't see
- 6:25the same things as I do and stuff and it gets you know,
- 6:27that's a great part about us as individuals.
- 6:30We don't we don't see the same things but we do agree on on
- 6:35many shows, I have chosen not to watch it and more from a
- 6:40standpoint of, I'd rather do something else with my time.
- 6:47I've recently started producing for comics division, and it has
- 6:53taken up a lot of time. He's wanting to move the some of
- 6:58the show's to focusing on creators.
- 7:00We had Auntie Masterson on Thursday night, who does the
- 7:04figures and did some of the Friday Night Tykes figures and
- 7:08he'd sent Comics one. That was him as the avatar from
- 7:13his show and Got the ginja ninja coming on and we've had Spencer
- 7:21Baku, lie on this at that rights for abounding.
- 7:23In a Comics, is talks about his art.
- 7:26Anything? He's as from there, we've had,
- 7:28we're going to have makhani draws on.
- 7:31We're going to get Vinny art on. We've had Latino slant on.
- 7:36We've had, of course, John Trent from Banning the comics and
- 7:40we're I'm out looking for artists and, and people who are
- 7:45doing, The independent things and we want to highlight that
- 7:51and it's cool. Yeah.
- 7:53So I think it takes a lot of work and some of the stuff
- 7:58that's coming out of Disney I just it doesn't excite me
- 8:00anymore. Star Wars stuff doesn't excite
- 8:03me anymore. The Star Trek was really my
- 8:05thing. And I just, I can't stand what's
- 8:10happened with that from there. And I, yeah, I'm sure Yeah, I'm
- 8:15sure well, you know, as you find segue I guess you brought up
- 8:19that you were, you know, producing some things for Comic
- 8:22division, but, you know, just kind of in general, I guess how
- 8:29did you get into this whole crazy?
- 8:31YouTube, you know, wrap a whole / content creation if I may ask.
- 8:39So I watch a lot of I've been watching YouTube videos for a
- 8:44while. Mostly how to videos.
- 8:47I had to repair some cars and some stuff like that and I
- 8:53caught a video from Midnight's Edge three years ago or so.
- 8:57In the middle of the Star Trek films are going to get a fourth
- 9:01one or not rumors about the third one, you know, it kind of
- 9:04stuff and as I was watching the Midnight's Edge videos comics
- 9:12division had done some videos. On Star Trek and they came up in
- 9:15the fee. So I started watching the comics
- 9:18division videos while back. I can't remember exactly how far
- 9:22back that way, but I like the Avatar that he was doing the
- 9:28voice, he was doing the comedy that he was putting into it.
- 9:31Yeah, I like the laugh and I like comedies more than most
- 9:37other films, most of my tops and bottoms are comedies from there
- 9:43and And from that led to watching a world-class
- 9:50bullshitters came up a few times and then Midnight's Edge after
- 9:54dark started, coming up and then other people from there and we
- 9:59were watching Game of Thrones as just about everybody was at the
- 10:02time. Sure.
- 10:03And we were looking for people that were dishing about Game of
- 10:07Thrones in the lore and the books and Gary neurotic came up.
- 10:12So we started watching Gary. Maybe about 30 25,000
- 10:17330-thousand and he had at the time and then his stuff just
- 10:21took off because you know, Doctor Who in Game of Thrones,
- 10:24kind of crapped the bed at the same time.
- 10:27So and I would be in the chat and and I would Super Chat every
- 10:32so often. And then when the pandemic had
- 10:38Around in this household, both of us were working in industries
- 10:43that we didn't slow down. So instead of people who
- 10:49couldn't go to work, we found ourselves at home working, 10 12
- 10:53hour days. And for me, in the beginning of
- 10:56the pandemic, I was working seven days a week for a long
- 11:01period of time. Many months.
- 11:04And I just needed to have an outlet So I was watching comic
- 11:10stuff. I was watching you know Gary
- 11:13Friday Night Tykes when that started Gary.
- 11:15When he and doom cock were doing the eggs, ozone was one of my
- 11:17favorite shows to just switch on the XO so just listen to what
- 11:22was going on with that. I like the Inquisition for a
- 11:25little while, but it kind of a kind of cool down that just
- 11:29because the time that it was on because I had sure up early for
- 11:33Monday And I started doing some super chats in.
- 11:40The comics division Street streams on Mondays and
- 11:43Thursdays. And it started out with a knick
- 11:47wiser thing there. And I was watching Supreme
- 11:56Heretics, Thursday shows. He was doing on Pegasus actual
- 12:02and there were some really funny stuff that came out of that some
- 12:05dick jokes that we used and making fun with Drew and and and
- 12:11things and then those kind of let you know Drew was on with
- 12:14comic. So I kind of Follow that over
- 12:15there with some of that humor and then I started doing these
- 12:19Nick wiser flavors on the show in super chats.
- 12:24And they kind of took off from there.
- 12:26There's well over 200 of them at that by now, but we started
- 12:30doing other things and I started talking to comics and he had had
- 12:35some mods, but he didn't have too many around at the time.
- 12:40Excuse me, sorry about that. And he's like, no, I need a mod
- 12:44and I'm like, okay, what's your all?
- 12:45Do it? So he made me a mod on his
- 12:48channel and from there we were talking about stuff and and
- 12:54things back and forth on Twitter and what do we need to do here?
- 12:57What's this person doing all of that and that led to him getting
- 13:02me into the chats, where the link was to get back behind the
- 13:07scenes like here. And it's got I think he had put
- 13:12them there for a while. Expecting me to come on board
- 13:15and I just didn't see it as an invitation to come on.
- 13:20I saw it as oh, he's including me in this back in the chat so
- 13:23that I know what's going on and I can talk to them and talk to
- 13:27him about people in the chat and what's going on from there.
- 13:30I just didn't presume that anyone would want to hear me out
- 13:35on the internet and One day. He asked how come you don't.
- 13:42Come on Leon. I don't know.
- 13:45So he had a member stream and, and that was the first thing I
- 13:48was ever on was a Comics divisions.
- 13:50First member stream while back, that led to me being on doing
- 13:56some things behind the scenes on the shows and the eventually.
- 13:59He said he wanted to make some changes and be able to do some
- 14:04more with the channel. He works full time.
- 14:07I work full-time. I'm in the offered for me to
- 14:10come on and help produce and and lineup guests and and find
- 14:15places for him to be and and help other people who are trying
- 14:19to get on. And, and do you know exactly
- 14:22what you're doing here and find people trying to create new
- 14:26culture and great. Yeah, comics and things and
- 14:30stuff like that, that kind of led to where we are today.
- 14:34And the show that we haves on Mondays yelling at parked cars
- 14:37and Thursday with The TNT and yeah yeah.
- 14:43With some weird names I try and come up with some weird names
- 14:45there. So yeah.
- 14:48How did you come up with the name?
- 14:49Toxic man flew. I love that.
- 14:53Oh yeah. So This was before the pandemic.
- 15:00Well, with academic. So, it wasn't this first of the,
- 15:03on record, this is not, this name was not pandemic related.
- 15:09So and that the what you're seeing on screen was done by
- 15:13Jeff. Oh, one of the artists in the
- 15:15chat here, it's a 3D render and Damascus steel of something.
- 15:20I asked him to do with the toxic symbolism and symbol and a flu
- 15:23symbol with some wings. I really like this and he's done
- 15:27so many of these for me. It's Great, but I was in chats
- 15:33with Gary. Using my real name at the time,
- 15:37and it was getting the point. We're starting to get spicy
- 15:40because The cancel culture on the internet and stuff.
- 15:44Really wasn't taking hold. We were just fans on you know,
- 15:49talking right wrongs and talking about Star Trek and talking
- 15:52about things we like them or not and then it started to get
- 15:55really really bad and I was like okay I need to come up with a
- 16:01name and an identity that I can at least not have my real name
- 16:08sitting out there and I was like what can come up and It's to
- 16:12have three there and it just hit me out of the blue.
- 16:17I'm going to use toxic man, flu and yeah well the egg because
- 16:21the toxic male is thinking about toxic male right from there.
- 16:26Yeah. And thinking about oh what if it
- 16:28was some kind of disease that you could catch and and then
- 16:31that that kind of just did all snap to place and then about
- 16:35three months or so after started using the pandemic head, I'm
- 16:38like, well, I'm stuck with it. So, here we go.
- 16:41Yeah, we It was kind of a little fortuitous.
- 16:44So well well usually I don't like to go over my own
- 16:48background on my show but you know I know that you're a guest
- 16:54and we do have some new viewers here so just kind of you know,
- 16:58quickly I mean so I've actually been podcasting in general since
- 17:04I was about 14 and I was when I was one of those really weird
- 17:10kids who was like I was really I like history and politics like
- 17:15from an early age and so you know, I wasn't two examples and
- 17:25I actually like started to listening to Rush when I was
- 17:27like, I don't know, 12 or 13. Kind of like maybe I could do
- 17:32this one day and then podcast me became a thing.
- 17:36So I started doing like a kind of like a political show, you
- 17:41know. Yeah.
- 17:43And then, you know, kind of like a young conservative thing, kind
- 17:47around the time, Andrew Breitbart was a thing and then
- 17:50like later on once I was in like high school I started getting
- 17:55into like more pop cultural things because I've always been
- 17:58into comics and whatnot and whatnot and I got into Dennis
- 18:04Miller, he's one of my favorite comedian.
- 18:06I've seen Dennis Miller Live a few times.
- 18:08I really enjoy his stuff. Yeah.
- 18:10And he also had his He also had his, you know, radio show on.
- 18:15So I used to call into there and he actually gave me, you know,
- 18:19once I was like, I never talked to him like regularly but I but,
- 18:23you know, I talked I talked to enough to where he kind of knew
- 18:26who I was after a while and you know he gave me he gave me
- 18:30advice once that, you know, you ought to do some more of this
- 18:33like pop culture stuff and whatnot.
- 18:35You're kind of good at that so kind rape and my show in 2014.
- 18:41And have 100 doing like across the politics and pop culture.
- 18:45And I can't remember how I got into this whole Space.
- 18:51Is I found the critical Drinker during with him during the
- 18:56pandemic. And I, you know, I got addicted
- 19:02to critical drinkers videos and then I found Gary's video and
- 19:06kind of the rest is history. You know, I kind of fell into
- 19:10this Rat Hole. Now I'm here.
- 19:14I guess so yeah it's it amazes me.
- 19:18How many people I find have been on here for years.
- 19:23Yeah and it's not something that I ever wanted are set out to do
- 19:30and it's not some, I don't see this as being a career.
- 19:33I don't see it as being that I'm going to make any kind of money
- 19:37at this or anything like that, it's Timmy.
- 19:41A hobby and I've met some really great people through it.
- 19:46I am looking forward to the Vegas, meet up coming up.
- 19:52We're going to go out there and and meet some people face to
- 19:54face and be able to sit down and just talk to people.
- 20:01The internet can be such a good thing and it can be such a bad
- 20:04thing. So it's good that you can have
- 20:06people across the world that share a love for something come
- 20:10together and talk about it. And you can have those people
- 20:13have disagreements and you can talk about it and have a
- 20:17spirited discussion. It's it's also bad in that it
- 20:22can be used for evil as we've seen.
- 20:27Oh yeah, the things that are going on with the I'm interested
- 20:30to see just what percentage of the Twitter accounts are Bots.
- 20:35And I'd see ya. You want most comes up with?
- 20:39Yeah, I guess that actually that just broke before you know,
- 20:44while I was prepping for the show.
- 20:45So I am curious to kind of know you know what your opinion on
- 20:49that is and also I mean, do I so do I detect a Texas accent there
- 20:56too? Or yeah around that area.
- 21:01I grew up in Oklahoma and was on radio for a long time down in
- 21:08that area and then moved out to New York and and and in the east
- 21:14coast for a while. And then now, I'm in the Chicago
- 21:17area from that. Since I've moved around, we've
- 21:22learned a lot, but according raised in the in Oklahoma,
- 21:26You're oh, so you're in Chicago then?
- 21:28Well I I I'm I'm sorry you. I'm sorry, you live in such a
- 21:34left-wing hellhole, but I know I actually I do love Chicago with
- 21:39the city and the people, the people are pretty good as long
- 21:42as you don't bring. Yeah, the it's it's pretty sad
- 21:50as its restrictive. It has the toughest gun laws in
- 21:55the country. The you actually pay taxes five
- 22:01cents around when you purchase ammunition things and stuff like
- 22:05that. So it's very restrictive.
- 22:10They You know, God, they don't it.
- 22:14Yeah, they don't admit the trouble that they have the mayor
- 22:18of Chicago. I don't think is doing a good
- 22:20job at all, if you can't admit that you're wrong, you're not
- 22:23going to do a good job. So yeah, it, but that's the city
- 22:28area you go outside of the city. It's a different thing.
- 22:33The southern part of Illinois, the middle part of Illinois,
- 22:36there's a lot of Farmland. There's a lot of different more
- 22:41of that Middle, America type. Out in that area.
- 22:46It really is just this city. You get a lot of fat in the ads
- 22:51and stuff. You see people of downstate
- 22:52against the city and and but I think you're going to see people
- 22:58moving out of cities. What we already are Illinois is
- 23:01losing quite a bit of people. I think it's well over 400,000
- 23:05at this point in the last year or so that I've moved out of
- 23:09Illinois and that's that a net loss.
- 23:13In population, which is never good for a society or an area,
- 23:21would, you know, Social Security is a Ponzi scheme.
- 23:24You've got to keep having more people pay into it, as it goes
- 23:28along. Same thing with the welfare
- 23:30system in those kind of things, you have to have more and more
- 23:32people paying to them. So, any area that loses people
- 23:36losses population is going to have trouble paying for things.
- 23:39And yeah goggle was wasn't that way until Biden won and I think
- 23:44the state got a bailout of a certain amount and stuff that
- 23:47was there so but yeah it was there's a lot of great stuff
- 23:54around here. There's a lot of great people.
- 23:56I've met Nick wiser here was able to meet him face-to-face.
- 24:01Me and mrs. Flu went and had a great time.
- 24:05There's a lot of other people up in this area that are in their
- 24:08chats frequently that over time. I think Nick Is planning to have
- 24:14a meet-up in this area in April of next year.
- 24:18So we're really hoping to have that and and get to meet some of
- 24:24the people around this area. Maybe Tom from Midnight's Edge.
- 24:28We can get him together. I think that that would be
- 24:30great. I actually, yeah, I actually had
- 24:35an ick wiser on this show about about, maybe a little more than
- 24:40a month ago and he's actually one of the reasons Ian reasons
- 24:44why I'm talking to because he said that, you know, had he
- 24:48said, the comics division is great.
- 24:50But if you if also be good toxic manfully on, he's an interesting
- 24:54guy to talk to it as well. That's good.
- 24:58I'm glad Nick had good things to say.
- 25:00So yeah, you know, I know, I know that, I know that Nick
- 25:05wiser is, you know, he's a pizza addict and you know, he's a bad
- 25:10that. Yeah.
- 25:12He His pizza Aficionado. I think I would say that from
- 25:20there if there was ever an expert in Pizza it's Nick and
- 25:25yeah just don't tell him that deep dish pizzas Chicago Pizza
- 25:28he will go nuts from there because it's not but he's lived
- 25:34in Chicago his whole life and knows this area very well.
- 25:38I'm yeah. I am I like I like deep dish
- 25:44pizza. I'm I'm one from I well, I'm
- 25:48from Colorado but I will Ben, I will Ben Ford a now.
- 25:51So like we don't really, you know, we don't really have, you
- 25:55know, Pizzeria or anything about owner or anything like that, but
- 26:00I mean Florida's got right. You know, flip Florida is
- 26:04Florida. It's weird.
- 26:06And you know, they're Florida men everywhere but we've also
- 26:10got it. You know, our name, I guess, our
- 26:14Commons videos were where Florida.
- 26:17That's pretty much it right? You are what you are and you're
- 26:21not ashamed of it that and that's the attitude.
- 26:26I think that I like there's a song by monster truck that kid
- 26:32rock recently covered. It's called ain't nobody going
- 26:36to tell me how to live and that's the kind of Way that I
- 26:42was, I was raised. I'm sure that this is flu can
- 26:46tell you. I'm very stubborn and do not,
- 26:51tell me what I am supposed to be doing, because I won't do it
- 26:55whatever you want. From there.
- 26:57You my my ancestors. You have a gun?
- 27:02Oh, go ahead. Now, I was going to say you've
- 27:04even said that you're stubborn and your own gilded server.
- 27:08That's right, I am. My my grandmother on my mom's
- 27:15side, her mom was part of the group of American Indians that
- 27:27came over to what they call the Trail of Tears.
- 27:29So in the 1840s they discovered Georgia in Georgia gold, and the
- 27:38five American tribes that They called civilized because they
- 27:42had their own written language that all the tribes were
- 27:45civilized. It's kind of stupid, but the
- 27:49Cherokee Choctaw Creek, Seminole all say all those and they won
- 27:57the Supreme Court case to say that you can't take us off the
- 28:00land, just because you have gold.
- 28:02But Andrew Jackson, okay, I don't care and blew right
- 28:08through that court case and forced March them.
- 28:11Cross to the yeah. The then territory of Oklahoma
- 28:16and we know about the thousands that died.
- 28:18The smallpox written blankets. That they gave them the things
- 28:22that they said and did. And people that they kill.
- 28:26That's a well-documented thing. So they came over and and
- 28:33through that my grandmother, my great-grandmother, they Weren't
- 28:40going to, they just didn't want to be on any government list.
- 28:42So when it came time for my grandmother to register on the
- 28:46role, she didn't and didn't say, how much America, American
- 28:50Indian blood we had, in our native blood, we had because and
- 28:55I and up until the day she, she had her stroke.
- 29:01She tell me I'm not going to be on any government list and
- 29:03whatever, anybody only government list ends up dead.
- 29:06And that's how I was raised was in that and and both sides of
- 29:11the family. So the other side of the family
- 29:14had some American Indian in it but they were also German that
- 29:17came down through the land rush and the 1880s from there and
- 29:20they were all very independent and had moved away from the
- 29:25society, the cities and stuff to be on their own to be left alone
- 29:32and to live their life. So that's something that's I
- 29:39guess it's in the blood from that standpoint and I really you
- 29:44can suggest all you want. You can educate all you want.
- 29:48But as soon as you say You can't do that.
- 29:54I have a problem with that. Now, there's Society laws, I
- 29:58agree in, you know, it's my choice to live where I live and
- 30:03until we move out, that's where we are.
- 30:05But we agree that murder is wrong, you know, and assaults
- 30:11wrong and all those kind of things robberies wrong, we agree
- 30:14about that. So those are things, you
- 30:16shouldn't be doing and, But outside of that, I shouldn't be
- 30:23able to tell you Sam what religion you're going to
- 30:26practice, if any at all, it's none of my business for that.
- 30:31It's none of my business for what you do who you decide to to
- 30:38marry or go out with her Nan stuff.
- 30:40That's that's not my business. You know I don't want you
- 30:42telling me what to do in that and I'm not going to tell you.
- 30:46So that's that's pretty much that Golden Rule do unto others.
- 30:50As you would have them do unto, you is pretty much the
- 30:53philosophy and with that comes some some forgiveness, I'm not
- 30:59always perfect. I'm I know this comes as a
- 31:02surprise to my wife. Who's in the chat, I am not
- 31:05perfect dear, and, and I need forgiveness from, you know what?
- 31:11I may have by admitting that, she may have, just fainted, I'll
- 31:14have to listen to see if I hear her hitting the floor in the
- 31:17other room. Yeah.
- 31:19Yeah. But if you need, if you need to
- 31:22excuse yourself, to go pick her up, you know, what me?
- 31:25Now we can we can cut to, you know, and go from.
- 31:28There is a gross something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, babe.
- 31:32I love you. Oh, I definitely agree with.
- 31:36I definitely agree with you. And that's kind of my kind of my
- 31:40general philosophy on life. I mean, I, I would say I'm more
- 31:45of like a conservative conservative lordaeron hybrid
- 31:49and the sense. Like, you know, I definitely
- 31:52have like, you know, I definitely believe in like free
- 31:56speech and second amendment and whatnot.
- 31:58But like as far as like as far as like what you do in your
- 32:02personal life, as long as you're not harming anyone else and as
- 32:06long as you're not like humming kids or just being like overly
- 32:11irresponsible, you know, just live your life.
- 32:16So I mean the the so the radical left does driving crazy and it
- 32:20kind of seems like now they're being the fascists, but I also
- 32:24I've never liked the religious, you know, right?
- 32:28That's like to be clear, you know, I respect, you know, I
- 32:33have a Christian faith and I respect people who have faith
- 32:38but I don't really respect those who try to use the religion, you
- 32:43know, as a political tool to moralized other people.
- 32:48So I like to tell people that I mean, I'm conservative but I
- 32:53piss off both sides equally. I think because no one's because
- 33:00you know, I don't agree with either side.
- 33:01One inverse of the time and that's one of the things I kind
- 33:05of like about this. You know, this community to is
- 33:10that like no one's really, no one's really radical on either
- 33:16side. Even though the mainstream media
- 33:17likes to say, that OG are radicalized.
- 33:20As you know. So and so or you know, all this
- 33:23other stuff it's it's nonsense. So well it's there's alts to
- 33:31either side so you got 2% on either side.
- 33:34Yeah. That really caused the majority
- 33:36of the problems and and that's because they are so hell-bent on
- 33:40what they believe, they're, the ones that are going to get out
- 33:45there and push stuff, while the rest of us are out working, and
- 33:48living our lives. So, it's Like with Twitter, you
- 33:53wake up one day and Twitter is filled with less than 1/10 of 1%
- 33:59of the US population and less than 1% of them post.
- 34:06So you have a small group of people taking advantage of the
- 34:11fact that the rest of us are just swiping through things to
- 34:15put up these hundred and twenty eight character soundbites to
- 34:20agitate. Wait for the right by Wright.
- 34:23And I mean, I look at the people protesting out in front of
- 34:28Cavanaugh, just as Kavanaugh's house that is extremely illegal.
- 34:32That that is a huge federal offense.
- 34:34That's a felony, you lose the right to vote and the right to
- 34:37bear arms by doing that and they had somebody threatened to kill
- 34:42him, a credible threat to kill him.
- 34:44And yet the justice department is not going out and arresting
- 34:48those people for breaking that law.
- 34:51And you're like okay well it's the right to protest you protest
- 34:55in front of a judge's house. You are incentivizing them to be
- 35:00biased as opposed to give giving their unbiased judicial opinion
- 35:06on the law, right? And that's why that law is
- 35:11there, so that you have people who can be impartial, that they
- 35:14are protected From the Mob going on doing that stuff.
- 35:19And that's why the Second Amendment is there, as well, is
- 35:24is to protect us as the people from our Government because all
- 35:30governments will eventually become tyrannical.
- 35:33That was one thing, the founding fathers and mothers because
- 35:37there were women involved, and I'll tell you that sure it s so,
- 35:42but the reason that they, they wanted a small government
- 35:46because all governments are tyrannical and you need to be
- 35:48small. So having the states have the
- 35:50power. There was a balance of some kind
- 35:53and and I say founding mothers, I've done a lot of research
- 35:57myself. Myself in certain areas and the
- 36:00idea of individual sovereignty, individual Freedom where I is
- 36:07the individual was most important which is what the US
- 36:11Constitution and freedoms are based on actually came from a
- 36:16group of Quaker women in Pennsylvania.
- 36:20So, I actually knew I knew that so-and-so religious women.
- 36:28Who said we are all individual from God, we all have the same,
- 36:31we are equal across, so they're not only fighting for equal
- 36:33rights for people, their individual person, but also for
- 36:39women's rights at the time and it's just, this is the way
- 36:41things are. And I, when I learned that to
- 36:46me, it made perfect sense. One of the most powerful
- 36:51influencers of my life was my grandmother.
- 36:55On my dad's side, who was Five foot one raised five kids on her
- 37:00own started a church that we went to for a long time and
- 37:06would take me to stock car races and would take me to a horse
- 37:09race, you know, the horse track. So we watch racing.
- 37:11There should take me to hockey games.
- 37:14And here she be this little woman on the corner.
- 37:17You know, yelling at the fight. You want them to fight, do all
- 37:19that kind of stuff, and just flipping out.
- 37:21And yeah, she's yelling at all the big men's behavior.
- 37:25Yeah, she would. She's sitting if she wanted to
- 37:27get In there and get a fight and all that stuff and it's just
- 37:31they were my grandmother's were not that far away from the
- 37:37depression and the Dust Bowl. Sure it was pretty bad for
- 37:43Oklahoma to time that there were people in my family cousins and
- 37:48stuff who the dust was flying so much through the wind that it
- 37:54created, static electric charge on metal so they would go.
- 37:57Out to touch the plows and things and stuff like that, and
- 38:00get shocked and would be killed by the dust was flying.
- 38:03Wow. Yeah.
- 38:04And I mean, they struggled to survive actually struggled.
- 38:08So all the struggle session stuff and things that you see
- 38:11people talking about. Now, I call Extreme bullshit on
- 38:16that. Yeah, I've known about struggle.
- 38:19I've known him. I've had first-hand accounts
- 38:21from people who opened up concentration camps in Germany
- 38:26and what that Gravity was and what they did to be.
- 38:29Yeah and stuff from there. Yeah I've had grandparents that
- 38:33have lived through actual depression, actual suffering and
- 38:37this stuff that we're seeing. Now we we truly live in the best
- 38:42time ever and yeah that's we underpin enough.
- 38:48We really do not not to say that we don't have struggles out
- 38:53about Rome but whenever people say this is the worst you know
- 38:57time in Forever and people on both sides, do I just kind of,
- 39:01you know, roll my eyes and say yeah shit.
- 39:05You know, if it does kind of suck but it's not it's not the
- 39:08worst. It's ever been either.
- 39:10That's that's an over exaggeration.
- 39:13So right well I think for, as an attack on the United States I've
- 39:22said a few times and and I truly believe that the system of
- 39:29government created in the 1770s and 80s for the United States,
- 39:34is the only self form of government that's ever been
- 39:38created. I think that looking at what's
- 39:42happened in Australia, what happened in Canada?
- 39:45That's not self-rule. It quickly became a dictatorship
- 39:49there in those areas. And the government had
- 39:52authoritarian rule here, we'd given up enough that it was
- 39:58quick. I think if you realize that the
- 40:01quote unquote Mass mandate and the vaccine mandate from the
- 40:06Biden White House, we're actually not anything he signed
- 40:09they were press releases. The president does not hold that
- 40:13kind of power. In fact, the state's don't hold
- 40:18that kind of power here in Illinois.
- 40:21The governor only had 30 days to be able to enforce that and he
- 40:26could go back. He, she could go back to the
- 40:28legislature and ask for another 30 days.
- 40:30And after that, that was it, that was in the constitution of
- 40:35the state. After those 60 days, it went to
- 40:39the cities. Municipalities.
- 40:43So, the city that I live in has voted itself, unfettered,
- 40:47emergency power every week since remarks, april-may of 2020.
- 40:58So they've suspended all of the ordinances and things and stuff
- 41:01like that. So in that sense, it worked,
- 41:07there's still a tyrant or tyrants running the life that I
- 41:12have here but their local people and I know where they live,
- 41:17right? I can go to those meetings and I
- 41:20can voice you need to stop giving yourself emergency
- 41:23Powers. This is over.
- 41:25You need to be done. You need to go back to where we
- 41:27were. You don't need to, you have to
- 41:29go back to following these ordinances.
- 41:31You need to stop this, and that truly puts in the hands of the
- 41:36people, because of 1,000 people, 2,000 people in my city.
- 41:42Decide to go to the city council meeting and tell them stop
- 41:46voting yourself these powers or we're not going to vote you in
- 41:49next year, then that's the Message.
- 41:55They should be getting from there.
- 41:57There's no need to be violent. There's no need to be angry.
- 42:03You go and you voice with a group of people and that changes
- 42:08things The yeah. Yeah, it definitely does.
- 42:14I've noticed though to that like you know, unfortunately that
- 42:18type of thing does not get, you know, press coverage though
- 42:22anyone you know and you know outrage cells basically if it's
- 42:30the old adage of if it leads it voids.
- 42:33So you know it if the like for example, if the gentler six, you
- 42:39know, Protests had, you know, Bad actors in that it had it had
- 42:47just been a peaceful protest. Like it was for the most part.
- 42:51It probably won't have gotten any press or as much press.
- 42:55I'm thinking because responsible people just Gathering and
- 43:01protesting. Well, that's not exciting and
- 43:05that's not Sensational. So it's not, it's not going to
- 43:07sell. Yeah, it's I think the it's
- 43:12always been that way. I think that the the institution
- 43:18of Journalism as a profession has Fallen apart.
- 43:22I would totally has when I was growing up the local television
- 43:28station. There were three of them NBC
- 43:32ABC. CBS, they were in different, of
- 43:37course, one was number 11, was number 22.
- 43:39One was number three, the whole Ron Burgundy thing, and they a
- 43:43few different things for different people.
- 43:45So whichever station was number one was the majority of how the
- 43:50people in the city were thinking, but they would do
- 43:53things like talk about. The events that we're going
- 43:59around in the city, they would talk about the sporting events
- 44:01that would talk about the art events that were going on.
- 44:04They were talked about the Performing Arts Center and the
- 44:07and the musicals in the plays and the and the bands that were
- 44:10coming to town they would talk about that and they of course
- 44:14would talk about if there was an event that happened someone got
- 44:19shot or murdered and but they would do things like Talking
- 44:28about kids who are up for adoption and kids, were waiting
- 44:32there for parents to come and and adopt them.
- 44:37They would do things like that. They would go to the cat
- 44:39shelters, they would have kid shows in the morning and bring
- 44:43local kids on and do fun things and stuff like that.
- 44:47Yeah, I and I actually, I actually kinda remember a little
- 44:52bit to when when the local news would actually cover, you know,
- 44:56won't kill issues. Who's that mattered.
- 44:59Whereas like now it seems like the local news has more or less
- 45:05and less it's like public unless it's like a publicly-funded
- 45:08station. They more or less have become
- 45:12kind of the same thing as the national news where they you
- 45:16know where they want him talking like National issues and whatnot
- 45:20you know and now that it's gay pride month they want I got like
- 45:24Pride issues even though no. And you know in town no one your
- 45:30in your local preverbal Town, rowing has any you know gay or
- 45:36you know was being activist and you know they have gay you know
- 45:40people they don't like care a lot of this you know like stuff
- 45:46is mainly a lot of this palpable just of is just run by activists
- 45:51and it's right away and that's I mean there's elet's.
- 45:56So, a zealot is is not someone who is reasonable.
- 46:05They cannot be talked to the cannot be reasoned with.
- 46:07So the zealots come from both sides and it's not something
- 46:12that I just end up not talking with them.
- 46:18There are people out there who feel differently.
- 46:21They have a different sexual orientation.
- 46:23And I have, and I'm okay with that, that goes back to this
- 46:27same thing, what they do in their bedroom is their business.
- 46:32What I do in mind is my business I don't want to know what goes
- 46:35on. There's I don't want them to
- 46:37know what goes on in mind. None there's a whole none of
- 46:41your business and asking some of these questions.
- 46:47The response used to be, that's none of your business.
- 46:50Yeah, would ask your vac status? That is none of your business
- 46:54and they're like, well, you're breathing kill me.
- 46:57Okay. Well, the numbers beg to differ,
- 46:59but, but no. So That you know the try and
- 47:06turn that argument over and it's just okay.
- 47:08Well in that case you're a horrible driver.
- 47:11I think you should take your license.
- 47:12We have your license taken away. You know, right where does that
- 47:16end? And and the some people don't
- 47:21realize that the laws that Hitler used to justify what he
- 47:24did. We're actually the Eugenics
- 47:27laws. Past in United States in the
- 47:301920s and early, 1930s. Yeah.
- 47:34Where they said, they can put people away for whatever they
- 47:37want and if you had many women that were put into asylums just
- 47:43because they weren't married, And things and stuff like that.
- 47:47So when the government starts having more power over people's
- 47:52lives, that's when the problems arise.
- 47:56I need to be responsible for my life and the things that happen
- 48:00I need, whatever I do, I need to suffer, I will deal with
- 48:04whatever those consequences are whether I suffer through them or
- 48:06whether I I benefit from but they're my decisions.
- 48:13My choice. I'm grown up my life from there
- 48:17and that's we've kind of forgotten that sure to me to me
- 48:22though, it's not to me that, I mean the tyrannical governments,
- 48:27ours, only a threat. There's no denying that but to
- 48:30me there's also, you know, as you and I talked early there's
- 48:35now also this You know, other kind of to that has cropped up
- 48:40in the you know in the past few years of you know candle culture
- 48:45and kind of this whole you know idea of mob you know rule so to
- 48:52speak. And you know that if if you
- 48:55don't use the correct you know pronouns you know or what or not
- 49:00or whatnot I've or if you don't like if you don't like what I
- 49:03like, then I'm going to get you fired from your job
- 49:06motherfucker. And you know you're gonna you're
- 49:09gonna suffer and just that whole you know.
- 49:13Yeah there's definitely a Well it's some it's being a zealot
- 49:20and you have religious zealot. Normally those two words go
- 49:23together but also authoritarian zealots out there who believe
- 49:29they know better than you. Yeah.
- 49:31We're how things are or the whole climate change thing?
- 49:34I believe you know the climate change are destroying the world
- 49:37I'm and you know, it used to be In the 70s, we were going to
- 49:41have another Ice Age in the 80s. We were going to have the
- 49:46Greenhouse Effect and we were going to burn up and then nobody
- 49:50believed it because it kept saying that the oceans were
- 49:52going to rise or their officers were going to receive and it
- 49:55never happened and they finally settled on a term that we can't
- 49:59argue climate change. Of course, the climate is
- 50:04changing about 50,000 years ago. We were all, would all be under
- 50:11100 feet of ice there, the ice ages.
- 50:15So, if the climate hadn't changed and we are now in a very
- 50:19long period of warmth on the planet, but if it hadn't have
- 50:24done that, we would not be here. We would not be dealing with
- 50:28this right now. If you have the chance to go, to
- 50:30New York City, and go to grandson, Out to Central Park,
- 50:34you will see these giant rocks and you'll see these grooves in
- 50:39them. Yep.
- 50:40And that's the Pebbles that were raked across them as the, the
- 50:47glaciers receded. So if you really want to tell me
- 50:51that climate change, we need to go back to where we were then
- 50:55that movie Day After Tomorrow, Needs to come true, where the
- 51:00glaciers run, all the way down to Southern Texas.
- 51:03Right. And and freeze that stuff up and
- 51:06it and so they are taking something.
- 51:11And I cannot argue yes climate changes but you have to turn
- 51:14that into the absurdity of what they're saying because you can
- 51:18that's the slippery slope. If you're going to say this I'm
- 51:21going to take you all the way back to.
- 51:24Okay? We should just be this giant
- 51:25mass of magma because the climate then was nothing.
- 51:31And then we got bombarded with And suddenly, there was an
- 51:34atmosphere. That's climate change.
- 51:39Hmm, I certainly think that being a good, you know, Steward
- 51:44of the environment and taking care of and taking care of the
- 51:47environment is important. But when you hit, but when you
- 51:50get people like Al Gore, you know, using the plant as the
- 51:54political, you know, propaganda piece to basically scare people.
- 52:00And you know and use fear porn, right?
- 52:03You know that that's when I have a real and that's actually kind
- 52:07of when I became you know What about people ask?
- 52:11You know why, why did I become, you know what?
- 52:13It was such an old at such a young age because, you know, I
- 52:17was one of those kids, you know, when I was in junior high, that
- 52:21was when An Inconvenient Truth came out and my and, you know,
- 52:27my parents actually you know, I want to end school and then my
- 52:31mom who is based, you know, she actually kind of sat down with
- 52:38me Me and kind of explain the other side of you know what, you
- 52:42know, global warming was and kind of debunked it.
- 52:45And so you know that's the other thing is She was she was a very
- 52:52active and, you know, actually making sure I actually had a
- 52:56full education, not just, what was taught and right school and
- 53:01I mean, a lot of kids now don't have that.
- 53:04So and that's why a lot of this sort of social justice, step is
- 53:09the way it is so well. I I was very fortunate my
- 53:15education. I know one of the things I found
- 53:19out later the pledge of allegiance that I would say
- 53:23every day before school and singing of God Bless America.
- 53:26And stuff was actually propaganda created by the when
- 53:36Dwight Eisenhower was president and it was created to combat the
- 53:42Communist threat. Because coming out of World War
- 53:44Two, Russia and communism was thought to be the greatest
- 53:49threat to the world. And yeah, part of what they want
- 53:55to do was to instill Great Patriotic spirit for this
- 54:01representative Republic into its citizens.
- 54:05So having the flag the rules for handling the flag, displaying
- 54:10outside of your house. Doing the pledge of allegiance
- 54:15singing, you know, patriotic song stuff like that.
- 54:19That was something that I did in school for a very long time but
- 54:28where I was I was fortunate with school is the critical thinking
- 54:31that I was taught. I had a very diverse group of
- 54:38teachers when I got into kindergarten and first grade
- 54:42second grade and stuff, Long, long time ago in the 70s.
- 54:47I had a science teacher, who was mr.
- 54:51Smith was an African-American man who was phenomenally
- 54:57intelligent and was very good at science and very good at math
- 55:02and all of the kids in the school had went through that
- 55:06class and we went outside and learn stuff and things of that
- 55:10nature whole scientific method, my critical thinking came from
- 55:13that man. And you might think
- 55:17scientifically, what does this do?
- 55:18What's the cause and effect? And all that kind of stuff.
- 55:22I had teachers who were homosexuals and it you kind of
- 55:30knew. Nobody said anything.
- 55:32It didn't matter. Yeah.
- 55:34Right. They were still good people and
- 55:36and people that I knew and talk to and stuff well on past high
- 55:41school and it just didn't matter from there.
- 55:44So, I count myself very fortunate even though I come
- 55:47from what people would call a backwoods screwed up State, I
- 55:54had a very good education at a progressive, hate say the term
- 56:01Progressive because there's a lot of negative connotation to
- 56:03that. But at the time, the open
- 56:09concept and the teachers that they brought in there were just
- 56:12the best that they had it was out of Merit, and it didn't
- 56:16matter. Yeah.
- 56:17What religion or Creed they were or color of their skin.
- 56:22It mattered about Merit and that was right after the whole 60s
- 56:28and you had the assassinations that have gone on.
- 56:31You have the Martin Luther King stuff that was happening.
- 56:34And I witnessed firsthand people say.
- 56:37Okay, we need to stop being bigots and all those kind of
- 56:39stuff. And we need to start, you know,
- 56:42judging people by Merit Really, and I had some great teachers
- 56:48that I have talked to and they knew me and and stuff many
- 56:52decades later going exam. So from that, I try to be as
- 56:58open as possible inclusive as possible.
- 57:00It's not always easy. There are times when I get
- 57:04upset, people have Trump derangement syndrome.
- 57:08Anytime I see Nancy Pelosi on screen.
- 57:10I want to throw the television through a window.
- 57:14Yeah, he's you and me. You and me.
- 57:17You and me both well, you know that.
- 57:20That's That's you know that's very you know, the whole thing
- 57:26with the whole thing with Trump is I initially, you know when he
- 57:32initially came onto the scene I you know running for president I
- 57:36was kind of skeptical of trump because I'm like you know when I
- 57:42was growing up Trump was the guy who hosts The Apprentice and he
- 57:46was the guy who fought Vince McMahon live on.
- 57:51To be like those were the two things that it was famous for.
- 57:55So I would like it, you know, is he really going to run for
- 57:58president or is he just doing a publicity stunt and then write
- 58:02what I noticed with Trump was as you got more serious and more
- 58:07and more people. You know it was almost like the
- 58:11more people he pissed off. You know, on both sides, the
- 58:17more I like him and the more they know, the more they tried
- 58:20to stop him and throw, you know, you know, monkey wrenches and
- 58:26tours works from, you know, the more I liken to the other thing
- 58:30is, I mean, I think Hillary Clinton is just is just not
- 58:36garbage, you know, human being even more so than bill.
- 58:42I think, you know, I think I think that your uncle Trashman
- 58:48man, could do a better job as president then.
- 58:51I don't know her tent in a great profession such as sanitation
- 58:57without them. All right.
- 58:59Be much more strongly. And right yeah, Hillary Clinton
- 59:04is not somebody I've ever thought was.
- 59:11And let's just say that growing up where I was and her and Bill
- 59:16and Arkansas. We kind of knew that she was
- 59:19getting people who were doing bad things to women off.
- 59:24Yeah, outside of her husband. So, I understand, we need to
- 59:28have a strong defense when it comes to those kind of things.
- 59:32But at some point, the things that she said about women's
- 59:36rights and stuff, just ring Hollow given how she was You'll
- 59:40know by their actions and her actions are just horrible.
- 59:44Yeah, the fact, the fact that the fact that the quote-unquote
- 59:47feminists were, you know, saying I'm with her and all of this,
- 59:52you know, nonsense in 2016. It's like no you-you-you.
- 59:58Third and fourth wave feminists, you're not even for women's
- 1:00:02rights or anything like that. You're you're just too, you
- 1:00:06know. So anyway, going back getting
- 1:00:08back if Trump though it was more More like, you know, especially
- 1:00:12him down between him and Hillary.
- 1:00:14It was like once it once that was the thing.
- 1:00:17It was I was you know like well I'm full Maga now and it just
- 1:00:23became it became a joy for me, just to troll people almost
- 1:00:28with, you know, my Mac had just to see people meltdown,
- 1:00:32especially since I'm in a, I'm in a wheelchair to, you know,
- 1:00:35that's the other thing is, I would just a have a disability
- 1:00:39as a lot of Now. And so, you know, kind of the
- 1:00:42whole thing was labels of what what you know, what you're in a
- 1:00:45wheelchair you're disabled, you can't be a, you can't be a
- 1:00:48Republican and, you know, I kind of the whole thing, you know, I
- 1:00:51kind of the same thing you do, where I don't like, I don't like
- 1:00:53being labeled. I don't like people trying to do
- 1:00:56what I can or cannot be. So right now, if you try and
- 1:01:01tell me I'm going to just I'm not going to I'm not going to
- 1:01:04get mad at you so much as I'm just going to troll this shit
- 1:01:07out of you because that's right. What I do shoulder ignorance
- 1:01:11right with that kind of stuff. And I like Donald Trump because
- 1:01:19he won and he was out there being who he was and we're all
- 1:01:25of his positions things that I agreed with no I think he was a
- 1:01:29Democrat who ran as a republican populist and he reflected A Love
- 1:01:37For America and Anna. Erica first policy that I think
- 1:01:44we need to get back to. I wish they had not gotten rid
- 1:01:47of Steve Banning, I think once he got into office he started
- 1:01:51listening to people around him that from that that swamp and he
- 1:01:57cut, loose is Steve Bannon. Who got him the victory.
- 1:02:01Steve Madden was the one that went into those specific areas
- 1:02:04that we target these things, we can go after this and we can
- 1:02:07beat Hillary and that's exactly. What they did.
- 1:02:10I mean it was about 100,000 votes or whatever that separated
- 1:02:13that because of those key areas. And if Michael Flynn had not
- 1:02:18been done Dirty by the US government, as he was and and
- 1:02:24Steve Bannon hadn't been cut off, I think we really would
- 1:02:27have seen them cut into the swamp at that point.
- 1:02:30And I'm was not happy with outside of Gorsuch, was not
- 1:02:36happy with the Cavanaugh or the the Comey, Barrett.
- 1:02:39X. I don't think that they were
- 1:02:41constitutional enough. I think there were other people
- 1:02:44out there that could have been better.
- 1:02:46So rule growing you and, you know, you didn't like having a,
- 1:02:50I'm curious about that. No, I didn't like Cavanaugh tall
- 1:02:54and there's someone that I watch Robert Barnes.
- 1:03:00He's on with Viva Fry on Sundays.
- 1:03:02I yeah, I like him a lot and when they were nominated, he was
- 1:03:08talking about ledee. They are big business
- 1:03:11Republicans. They're not civil Libertarians
- 1:03:15so you say, Okay, civil libertarian.
- 1:03:18I can't be a civil libertarian. If I'm conservative, no, no, you
- 1:03:21have to be a civil libertarian, civil liberties, My Liberty as a
- 1:03:27citizen, that's what that talks about.
- 1:03:29And it's a civil libertarian. And what the ACLU used to be,
- 1:03:35was governments coming after me people, corporations are coming
- 1:03:39after For me, I'm as the individual and supposed to have
- 1:03:43power, and that's what civil liberties is the government.
- 1:03:48These corporations can't roll me over, just because they have
- 1:03:50more money. I can go to court and I should
- 1:03:53and be able to, with the law, a rudimentary understanding of the
- 1:03:58law. Be able to defend myself and get
- 1:04:01my civil liberties out there. Yeah.
- 1:04:04And from that standpoint, I just don't think that Cavanaugh is a
- 1:04:07staunch enough civil libertarian And call me Barrett and her
- 1:04:12decisions, which I researched enough before her nominations,
- 1:04:18same way, I she cited too much on the side of big business as
- 1:04:21opposed to the individual rights of citizens and that that's kind
- 1:04:26of where I fall like a fuse fresh-faced to she'd only been a
- 1:04:31judge for a short time. The problem is that, right?
- 1:04:35She had been a judge. I think for a little while, she
- 1:04:37had some major decisions but she always cited on the side of
- 1:04:48business and the big one was the decision that she had holding up
- 1:04:52the Jacobson decision which was one of those laws.
- 1:04:55I talked about early from the 1920s, 1930s, the Eugenics laws
- 1:05:00to where the state owns your body.
- 1:05:02You don't. She upheld that decision in a
- 1:05:08ruling that she had and that to me was an automatic strike in
- 1:05:15regards to in regards to what I'm not really familiar with.
- 1:05:19So, the Jacobson decision was about an individual's, right to
- 1:05:23refuse treatment and the state being able to force them to to
- 1:05:30have a procedure done. So the Jacobson ruling.
- 1:05:34Is that the state has power for safety.
- 1:05:38So, in the name of Public Safety, I can do this to you and
- 1:05:43for me as a civil libertarian and individualists know, you
- 1:05:50don't, I can say, sam these are the reasons I think that you
- 1:05:55should get this vaccination. I could say that till I'm blue
- 1:05:59in the face, here's the facts and if you read those facts and
- 1:06:03understand I said no, I'm not going to do it.
- 1:06:05That's the end of it. Yeah.
- 1:06:07And and some of the things that that call me Barrett had well
- 1:06:11not someone there are a couple of rulings.
- 1:06:12She came out with that were and the opposite of that.
- 1:06:15They were Sam, I'm sorry, you don't understand this but for
- 1:06:19the good of everyone, we're going to force you to do this.
- 1:06:23And and that's what. So I was automatically against
- 1:06:27her coming in. I hope that her decisions are
- 1:06:31better, I for one am not the whole thing with the Roe v--
- 1:06:40Wade. Is it to me, is a distraction
- 1:06:43against what's really problematic out their in-laws.
- 1:06:47I think the Supreme Court has before it 30 things that has to
- 1:06:54get done by the end of this month.
- 1:06:55And one of those is decision of the New York case.
- 1:07:01That would affirm to a rights as shall not be infringed and it
- 1:07:05will strike down all of the New York laws that they have that
- 1:07:11put blocks to gun ownership. That'd be sweet farm ownership.
- 1:07:15Yeah. And they know, based on the law,
- 1:07:20they should strike it down. Robertson want to pick that
- 1:07:23stuff up because Roberts is a coward.
- 1:07:27Roberts knew that they had all that stuff and he should have
- 1:07:30brought that up and and he should not have certified.
- 1:07:34The election, all that stuff, but he was afraid to riots.
- 1:07:38Yeah, well and you know something I've been thinking
- 1:07:41about call, it's a bit of the, I guess extremists and me, but I
- 1:07:47was just one I was thinking, especially in regards to call me
- 1:07:51bear and maybe even Cavanaugh or one or the other recently.
- 1:07:54There were like somebody was arrested And they claimed like
- 1:07:58their goal was to like assassinate I think was Kevin
- 1:08:01all actually they like haven't you got arrested up to his
- 1:08:04house, right? It just got me thinking like
- 1:08:09when's the last time any of these multi-millionaire lifetime
- 1:08:13politicians have you know paid physically has that someone has
- 1:08:18like actually done harm to any of these people you know like it
- 1:08:23used to be at least in my lifetime presidents.
- 1:08:26It's attempted assassinations, they didn't they at least got
- 1:08:29shot, you know, there was Reagan, we the people, you know
- 1:08:32that, we the Pete, We the People type shit.
- 1:08:34It's, you know, obviously I don't condone violence in any in
- 1:08:37any way really. But I mean it's it's just one of
- 1:08:41those things where like well no wonder they're just the the
- 1:08:44boots crushing ever. So you know, progressively down
- 1:08:49on our fucking next because they've got free, they've got
- 1:08:52free rein to do. So I mean not only do they write
- 1:08:54all the laws, they print the money.
- 1:08:57That their Generations into this.
- 1:09:00This little scheme here. So yeah.
- 1:09:03Yeah. I think the last time was the
- 1:09:07Republican softball game. Hmm.
- 1:09:10Solis as Steve scalise and several others were shot.
- 1:09:14That's right. Nearly took the life of ski of
- 1:09:16Steve scalise, he that wasn't even that long ago, was that was
- 1:09:21four years ago or so. Yeah, I think yeah, I think more
- 1:09:24like three. I think more like three years
- 1:09:26was definitely ready for the covid.
- 1:09:28Yeah but But yeah, I mean, it's, I mean, I guess, the reason I
- 1:09:37bring it up is, like, especially the talk of gun ownership and
- 1:09:40shit. It's like these a lot of these
- 1:09:42politicians, they've got, they've got guns, they're just
- 1:09:44paid for and carried by other men and women, you know, if
- 1:09:51there, I mean, I don't know, I just imagine a world in which
- 1:09:56you see all these school shootings and just I mean I live
- 1:09:59close enough to Chicago. Oh, that's that's like local
- 1:10:01news for me. So every fucking weekend I you
- 1:10:03know or every Monday or Sunday is our fifty five people Shot 14
- 1:10:08dead in Chicago. This you know, those are just
- 1:10:10people but if like if people were pointing that anger towards
- 1:10:14or that aggression or whatever towards, you know, the people
- 1:10:18with the boot on their neck. You know, it's just, I don't
- 1:10:23know where it's all misplaced and it's very well designed
- 1:10:26actually. Yeah, if you think about it, no.
- 1:10:30Now, it is one thing I wanted to ask you to toxic.
- 1:10:36I, you know, I know we've kind of bouncing all over the place
- 1:10:38in terms of topic. But, you know, I know you guys
- 1:10:42on your channels, you cover a lots of entertainment stuff and
- 1:10:45I try to get you guys, you know, with like yelling of hard cars
- 1:10:49as much as I can. But I, you know, I kind of
- 1:10:53missed this week shows, I'm kind of curious if anyone in your
- 1:10:58circles has talked out. Out, Matthew McConaughey going
- 1:11:02to the White House and basically talking out, you know, Ted we
- 1:11:07need to take your ar-fifteens away because again this is
- 1:11:11another case of someone in Hollywood.
- 1:11:14One of the few people, I actually like, you know, being
- 1:11:18disappointing and you know, kind of tongue same Hollywood.
- 1:11:22Well, I can understand why he did it.
- 1:11:25He's from there to write that that's where he lives.
- 1:11:31He's a resident and, and it is very sad.
- 1:11:37What happened? I still don't know the full
- 1:11:40truth. I don't know whether the police
- 1:11:43went in and then came back out or I've heard reports that one
- 1:11:49of the father's after 30 minutes went and grabbed a shotgun from
- 1:11:51somewhere and came in and went in and did that?
- 1:11:55I've heard that got a bullet through his hat.
- 1:11:56I believe. Yeah, I heard that my mother
- 1:11:59wanted to get in They tased her, I've heard all kinds of stuff.
- 1:12:03What I do know is it we're not getting the full story now, and
- 1:12:11obviously something looks bad for that police department or
- 1:12:17they're having a hard time piecing, it all together for
- 1:12:19real and trying to figure out what's going on.
- 1:12:23But I don't buy the ladder. I really don't the The thing,
- 1:12:28that's the thing that's frustrating for me in Apex.
- 1:12:30I know, you know, we've talked about this in the past but, you
- 1:12:34know, it seems like I was always hesitant even bring up the, you
- 1:12:40know, the shooting in Texas and people on whatever asked, why
- 1:12:43don't you talk about the shooting in Texas and it's not,
- 1:12:47I don't care because I do care, it's tragic.
- 1:12:50I just feel like every time one of these incidences happened,
- 1:12:54whether it be, whether it's this, or Parkland, or, you know,
- 1:12:59Vegas. Even we always come back to the
- 1:13:03same conversation of politicians always want to restrict gun
- 1:13:07rights, right? But we never want to look at
- 1:13:10peep at the people or the Situation's themselves or door
- 1:13:15or the fact that the FBI knows about these people like nine out
- 1:13:18of ten times if not ten out of right and times.
- 1:13:21Yeah, there were signs with this kid.
- 1:13:25I'm very much against red flag laws of any kind.
- 1:13:28Oh yeah, yeah, definitely. Yeah, because that leads us down
- 1:13:32the line of The Minority Report and things such as that sure.
- 1:13:36And yeah, it can tell a crime is committed.
- 1:13:39Nobody has committed a crime, right?
- 1:13:41And even then until they have been convicted of said crime,
- 1:13:44they are not guilty and which is why I helped.
- 1:13:48I'm sorry, I don't mean to go good.
- 1:13:50No it's just that it's not easy. Freedom is does not.
- 1:13:55Easy. It does not mean that your life
- 1:13:56is going to be easy. Freedom, is hard, has happened.
- 1:14:02We did talk about and getting back what you'd ask we did, talk
- 1:14:05about mass shootings and I brought up stats since 2018.
- 1:14:13There have been what the they consider.
- 1:14:18A mass shooting is involving a firearm when four or more people
- 1:14:23are injured or Right in any combination, right?
- 1:14:28The two Largest ones were, you know, Valley and I'm sorry if I
- 1:14:34butchered the name and El Paso, Texas that had 22 and 23 deaths
- 1:14:40each. The next closest was 13 and the
- 1:14:45number of deaths in those shootings that were above 10 was
- 1:14:50was nine out of 2,000 events dance events.
- 1:14:56So this is not an everyday occurrence.
- 1:14:59It's actually a rare occurrence in in statistically, but it is a
- 1:15:04going back to what you had said Sam earlier.
- 1:15:07It is a headline grabbing. Event and we had from the local
- 1:15:13news and I used to have 30 minutes and national news.
- 1:15:17And now we've got 24 hours a day of national.
- 1:15:21Yep. World news.
- 1:15:24What you have to realize. There's not that much going on,
- 1:15:28of course. So they make a lot of this stuff
- 1:15:31happen and you end up its TMZ. 24/7 news, I'm encouraged by
- 1:15:40CNN, their new Chief coming out and saying we're not going to do
- 1:15:47this. Insatiable is sensationalism.
- 1:15:49We're going to do the real news and if our personalities can't
- 1:15:54get on board with that, then they'll have to find somewhere
- 1:15:56else to be you know, money that that's that, that is
- 1:16:02encouraging. I guess.
- 1:16:03I don't know with CNN, I'll take away all We'll take a
- 1:16:07wait-and-see approach. I think, I think part of that
- 1:16:10though too is CNN has been toilet for so long you know.
- 1:16:15They're they're streaming service basically like flopped
- 1:16:18before it even melange. So wasn't it wasn't?
- 1:16:21It wasn't a CNN reporters back in Desert Storm, they got busted
- 1:16:26doing the fake like, aerators that like that famous.
- 1:16:30Yeah. We're in wearing helmets and
- 1:16:32shit and the, the outtakes of them in a studio.
- 1:16:35Yeah. That was fucking Yeah you just
- 1:16:37yeah decades ago. Yeah.
- 1:16:40Yeah no. Yeah.
- 1:16:43Nor McDonald leaving was like in a parody on us and l44 that yak
- 1:16:48and right. So yeah I mean they've been a
- 1:16:51clown. Sure.
- 1:16:51That's it's been again that was what 30 years ago you know.
- 1:16:58Yeah and they've been doing the same shit ever since they've
- 1:17:01just gotten better at it, they still get caught but they just
- 1:17:04it's like a virus. They just To evolve.
- 1:17:09But I wanted to go back a little bit because I didn't want to
- 1:17:12interrupt you. Toxic man.
- 1:17:15Flu is or something like toxic, is that a short, good shorthand
- 1:17:17for you, whatever you want to call me.
- 1:17:19Cool, I call you man. Enough to answer to asshole as
- 1:17:23well. I, you're the second year the
- 1:17:25second person and I think is many weeks to suggest that.
- 1:17:29So that's not going to work but uh you know yeah you're right
- 1:17:34like The Minority Report and shit in the red.
- 1:17:36Flag laws. Like I'm very much against that
- 1:17:41because, you know, a crime is not committed until it's
- 1:17:43committed, even then it's not committed until it's proven,
- 1:17:46which is why it's so helpful to help, you know, your potential
- 1:17:50criminals, not only plan, but Supply them with, you know,
- 1:17:56Hardware or information, or whatever it may be motivation,
- 1:18:00all of which can be very easily documented.
- 1:18:02And then presented very neatly packaged to You know, the media
- 1:18:09whichever out as it were, you know what I'm saying, which is
- 1:18:13why I think why conspiracy theories around mass shootings
- 1:18:17and mass tragedies is such a thing because they were fucking
- 1:18:20lying about all of them. But it's impossible to tell
- 1:18:24where the lies end. Like because the thing that
- 1:18:27really I mean, I grew up with a conspiracy theorist stepdad,
- 1:18:33like laid into my teenage and early into my adult life.
- 1:18:37And he was into all kinds of crazy shit.
- 1:18:39He loved Alex Jones but it was it was the age and he was so
- 1:18:43frequent that most of it was like, I don't care man.
- 1:18:46I wanted to get high and get pussy.
- 1:18:47You know I didn't really give a fuck about whatever he was
- 1:18:50talking about but the Boston bombing I'll never forget that
- 1:18:53because that was the That was like the thing the whatever you
- 1:18:59want to call, someone might call it the red pill moment.
- 1:19:02I guess where I'm like, well hold the fucking phone up, we're
- 1:19:04running the show buddy, Sam, he's out.
- 1:19:11Okay, well, and it shows back. Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, it's
- 1:19:18fine. We get it.
- 1:19:19We know Sammy. If they've watched, you know,
- 1:19:21you goddamn Boomer asked to do this at least once a show.
- 1:19:24Hey, hey, I'm just like nerd Rod.
- 1:19:27I kind of, you know, I have my Boomer moments.
- 1:19:30That's right. Also, it is right.
- 1:19:32It is raining here. So I don't know if like a power
- 1:19:35line got Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:19:37I don't think so buddy. But, I don't know, I it doesn't
- 1:19:43really matter how was just, you know, ruminating or you know,
- 1:19:48remembering, you know, with our guest here, mr.
- 1:19:53Asshole flu or whatever, there you go that.
- 1:19:58Yeah. The Boston bombing in the
- 1:19:59inconsistencies with that. And then the subsequent literal,
- 1:20:02martial law, that was employed. And I did admittedly.
- 1:20:06I watched a good portion of it through Alex Jones, And
- 1:20:10Infowars. Mainly because it's had a lot of
- 1:20:15the breaking information, but again the seed was already
- 1:20:17planted with my stepdad and stuff but yeah, that was I don't
- 1:20:24even I'm not sure the point of why even fucking brought that
- 1:20:26up, but well, I mean it's when you've been lied to right?
- 1:20:32There you go, then it's hard to believe anything.
- 1:20:36That and the national media is telling you, I find it very
- 1:20:40difficult to watch. National news, I find it very
- 1:20:44difficult to watch anything that President Biden.
- 1:20:46Says it makes it hard to counteract what they say because
- 1:20:56I'm not watching it but it's That entire government to me.
- 1:21:02I'm just waiting for it to end. Yeah, we're going to have to
- 1:21:07clean up whatever the damage that they're doing at this
- 1:21:09point. Can I sit there and and and go
- 1:21:12in and think that China has done a great job of putting in
- 1:21:16Manchurian candidates? Not only in the house but in the
- 1:21:20Senate and on both sides of the aisle and they're selling us up
- 1:21:25the river for profit. Yeah I mean it's kind of hard to
- 1:21:28refute how Nancy. Pelosi has gotten how rich Mike
- 1:21:32McCarthy is getting how rich Schumer's gotten how rich the
- 1:21:41what's this Dick Durbin? And all these people, how rich
- 1:21:45they've gotten by being in government for far too long?
- 1:21:49Hey, Nancy Pelosi has been in office for 40 years, why?
- 1:21:55Why? Because she's gerrymandered her
- 1:21:59group to wear only her rich friends that benefit from her
- 1:22:01being an office or voting for her.
- 1:22:03Yeah, they discourage people from voting and you, so it's
- 1:22:10easy to sit there and say, Here's these people.
- 1:22:14There should not be in there. That's, they're all getting paid
- 1:22:18by China. Wore a Russian oligarch or
- 1:22:22Ukraine, was paying them. I mean, how many of was Romney's
- 1:22:25kid, and Pelosi's kid and a couple of other prominent top
- 1:22:30politicians. Their children were all working
- 1:22:32for groups and and big business in Ukraine as consultants.
- 1:22:38So, you know, hundred Biden as well.
- 1:22:42That's not conspiracy theory. That's fact.
- 1:22:46So it's they are elitist and that is a class war that's
- 1:22:52what's going on and very much. What happened to French were
- 1:22:56Revolution. All that stuff, there will be a
- 1:22:58Marie Antoinette that says, let them eat cake one too many times
- 1:23:03and then there will be some kind of of retaliation for that.
- 1:23:09You're starting to see that the text is school board's recently
- 1:23:15had elections 72% of them went the other way from being, you
- 1:23:20know, democratically held to Republican help because you
- 1:23:24messed with people's kids, you know, one of the good things
- 1:23:27about the pandemic is people saw what their kids were being
- 1:23:30taught and throughout. No, I don't like that.
- 1:23:34And you know, there's only so far, you can push From there,
- 1:23:40the Supreme Court not Supreme Court the Senate and stuff.
- 1:23:43So, we had these house passed these laws, these Draconian
- 1:23:48laws, about gun control and stuff, and none of this is work.
- 1:23:51If gun control is worked, you're lying.
- 1:23:55If you think that that it's worked in any way, it hasn't.
- 1:23:58And the laws that are on the books aren't getting enforced
- 1:24:01right. This kid they knew about him was
- 1:24:04all there had ever opportunity, not to do it, these police of
- 1:24:06cording to what I've heard. for though, I haven't seen the full
- 1:24:11truth report yet had every opportunity to take him out
- 1:24:15didn't but They last minute at through the house, people got
- 1:24:26the word out. And the Senators that were
- 1:24:29thinking about doing this, all got Del used with phone calls,
- 1:24:35and a few of the Democrats who are going to do it too, and they
- 1:24:38backed off. And there's not even going to be
- 1:24:40a vote as of right now on this. So it's going to die in the
- 1:24:44Senate, right? So for people who say your voice
- 1:24:49doesn't matter, Yes, it does. Yes, that's a that's a very good
- 1:24:54point. You know, I'm sitting here
- 1:24:55thinking crazy talk about, you know, attempted assassinations
- 1:24:59or assassinations on politicians when motherfuckers can't even
- 1:25:03write a letter or call their local politicians and speak
- 1:25:09their mind or go to meet, you know, like Town meetings and
- 1:25:13shit. That's why they don't feel
- 1:25:15pressure. You know, right again pulling
- 1:25:18back a little bit on my own fucking argument the Just make
- 1:25:22the shit worse. You got to just call them.
- 1:25:24Just get everybody. Your fucking neighborhood to
- 1:25:27call your Senator, or whatever. Well, the violence is never
- 1:25:31going to. You have to have a discussion,
- 1:25:36of course. Yeah, I was being a little.
- 1:25:38I was trying to be a little edgy.
- 1:25:39Of course it was not. Yeah, I'm and I know where
- 1:25:41you're going with that, but The. It is not easy to have freedom.
- 1:25:51And as I think it was Ben Franklin said, those who give up
- 1:25:56safety for Freedom, give up their freedom for safety.
- 1:25:59Get neither. Yeah, deserve neither deserve
- 1:26:02neither. Right.
- 1:26:03And I caught. So, I was going to say, what's
- 1:26:08interesting about that is I actually posted that to my
- 1:26:13personal Facebook page just a few days ago that that A quote
- 1:26:18and it's very interesting because the, you know, the
- 1:26:22people who the people who are just.
- 1:26:25So anti-god, I didn't even say anything.
- 1:26:29The Texas, you know, the the evolved a shooting or anything
- 1:26:35like that, it might. And they all I did was I post
- 1:26:39that quote and I immediately got comments like, oh well you don't
- 1:26:42care about the safety of kids or something.
- 1:26:46They just Immediately drew that, you know, pair, they just
- 1:26:51immediately drew that parallel. When I didn't even stay anything
- 1:26:54out. You know, when that goes back to
- 1:26:56the seller argument, they're just yeah.
- 1:26:59All they know is that this thing bad?
- 1:27:03They don't want to know the, the actual statistics.
- 1:27:09Sure? What is None of these have
- 1:27:13happened. Outside of gun-free zones.
- 1:27:19Okay, yeah, so what if you're going to look at the stats, just
- 1:27:23realize that gun free zones don't work.
- 1:27:26They all they do is tell people, you know, they're either going
- 1:27:29to walk right past him and not care.
- 1:27:31And it just means that the law-abiding citizen is not is
- 1:27:34going to follow the law and be unprotected.
- 1:27:38Yeah, I would take it. I would take it one step
- 1:27:40further. I would say, I would say, it's
- 1:27:43an invitation Of course it is. It's it's come on in there are
- 1:27:49sheep for their sheep for the slaughter but you know any time
- 1:27:55you try and bring up the they are going again.
- 1:27:58You're well you're just you're just a bigot.
- 1:28:01So there are there are so many countless I would argue video
- 1:28:08evidence that are pro. You know, that could be used
- 1:28:13pro-gun control Or not gun control, I'm sorry, pro gun
- 1:28:17ownership and training and understanding of how they work
- 1:28:20and why they're necessary, but they don't kill more than like
- 1:28:24one person or if they do, they if they, you know, they kill one
- 1:28:29person and then they get fucking shot.
- 1:28:31I've seen so many videos of somebody trying to rob a place,
- 1:28:34pull a fucking gun out and the dude next to him, Buzzer fucking
- 1:28:38brains out or yeah, trying to, you know, some dude walks up on
- 1:28:42a crowd and pulls a gun out tries to rob them and a woman
- 1:28:46pulls a pistol out into Taps him.
- 1:28:49You know what I mean? Like, there's a whole group of
- 1:28:51kids there and this, obviously, deranged man who could have done
- 1:28:55all kinds of harm is now. You know neutralized you know,
- 1:29:01right? Like and your we're not talking
- 1:29:04about all these dead kids on the news instead you're not talking
- 1:29:07about it at all because it doesn't fit the narrative.
- 1:29:09You know? I mean it's definitely tragic
- 1:29:13what happened to those kids and their parents, and everybody has
- 1:29:16to go through that and You're not going to get away from
- 1:29:23tragedy. It's just not going to happen,
- 1:29:27we're not going to be able to save everybody.
- 1:29:30People will die, the eventuality of you taking your first breath
- 1:29:35is that there will be a last one and when you have people that
- 1:29:41have not had any adversity in their life, any real adversity,
- 1:29:46I mean, I've never even really hungry for very long in my eyes
- 1:29:51or sure, I can go down to the store, I get anything I want.
- 1:29:55With the shortages that we're having, I'm not going hungry,
- 1:29:59right? And there are people in this
- 1:30:05world who do not have clean water, right?
- 1:30:08So The people that are coming out and saying, all women's
- 1:30:14rights things like that, go living in Saudi Arabia for a
- 1:30:17while. Go limited hand for a while.
- 1:30:20I mean it, seriously, if you want to talk about people that
- 1:30:22are repressed, I go to the parts of Africa where they still
- 1:30:25circumcised young girls and talk about that.
- 1:30:28I mean, put your money where your mouth is or shut up.
- 1:30:34Basically from that standpoint and like we had Andy Masterson
- 1:30:38on Thursday night and he just got done doing a race.
- 1:30:43He's he's a physical trainer, he trains people and stuff that
- 1:30:48they raise money for water projects in countries where they
- 1:30:52don't have good treated and and clean water.
- 1:30:57Sure, we take that for granted absolute or in the u.s. because
- 1:31:02120 years ago that wasn't the case.
- 1:31:04Everywhere that you could find that kind of clean water and
- 1:31:07just having good plumbing and having clean water that's going
- 1:31:11to do the most to elongate your life is having his kind of
- 1:31:15sanitary type conditions. Sure hot water.
- 1:31:19I mean, you know, hot water for showering and how many of us can
- 1:31:23sit there and take a 20-minute hot shower?
- 1:31:25Now, you know, and that kind of stuff and you're not going to
- 1:31:27get that in certain areas even, you know, some places in Europe,
- 1:31:30things like that, they don't have, it's not how they've
- 1:31:33they've lived. Left.
- 1:31:34Sure, because the abundance that we have so tragedy, you're not
- 1:31:40going to be able to get rid of it.
- 1:31:41I don't begrudge. Matthew McConaughey for using
- 1:31:46his celebrity to try and focus on a problem.
- 1:31:51Sure, there is so many things that happened until we know what
- 1:31:55the truth is. I don't know what the solutions
- 1:31:58to those issues to those things might be.
- 1:32:01Yeah. I don't I don't begrudge.
- 1:32:04Don't begrudge him for speaking on it because he, you know,
- 1:32:08because he is from the area and out of all the celebrities.
- 1:32:12I do think he is more level-headed than most also for
- 1:32:19me personally because I loved season 1 of treated.
- 1:32:23Yeah. Oh yeah.
- 1:32:25Me too that. That's that's what I.
- 1:32:27Well I was going to bring that to.
- 1:32:28I mean I also have the biased of.
- 1:32:30Yeah. I do like him as as a knack for
- 1:32:32to but I mean, I guess the only criticism that I would have made
- 1:32:37of him as towards the end of his speech.
- 1:32:40It kind of It kind of seemed like he sounded a gut, it kind
- 1:32:45of seemed like a called for gun control.
- 1:32:47What all bit and oh, he did. But yeah, he called for, you
- 1:32:52know, there are still people out there that believe the a are in
- 1:32:55AR-15 stands for assault rifle when it stands so night.
- 1:32:58So fucking many and that's the problem.
- 1:33:05I can have an opinion on anything.
- 1:33:08I can only have an informed opinion on the things I know
- 1:33:11about, and yeah, well, Apex you said something.
- 1:33:16If you're going to have exercise your Second Amendment, right.
- 1:33:21You should be trained. On how to use it.
- 1:33:26Right? You shouldn't just get it and
- 1:33:29just, you know, you should know. How should know how to clean it.
- 1:33:33You should not a store. It should know how to do those
- 1:33:35things safely. You should know, right?
- 1:33:39I had a cousin, distant cousin that was shot and killed in a
- 1:33:44road rage incident. And that jackass should not have
- 1:33:49pulled over. Yeah it's somebody right right
- 1:33:54and okay guys thought okay he's yelling at me all that stuff
- 1:33:59from it. Why did you pull over?
- 1:34:02Why? And I say that because avoidance
- 1:34:08You can avoid most of those situations where the tragedy
- 1:34:12comes in. This is those kids could not.
- 1:34:15The teacher right. George?
- 1:34:17Sure. Yeah.
- 1:34:19And you had this door that was left.
- 1:34:22Oh and you say left open. Well what does that mean?
- 1:34:24We've all seen those kind of doors sometimes they don't close
- 1:34:26and lock properly. Sometimes if you slam those
- 1:34:29doors they don't lock it all and they just they prop back open.
- 1:34:35Is that a teacher's fault? Or is that just what we call a
- 1:34:39tragedy? It's tragic.
- 1:34:43It's unfortunate. It's me, not walking.
- 1:34:48You know, I have not been in that person's shoes.
- 1:34:52I'm not going to criticize what happened.
- 1:34:55It's a police officer in the middle of doing something.
- 1:35:01With all these things going on or somebody at war with all
- 1:35:05these things going on, the fog of war and those kind of the I
- 1:35:09can't unless I've been in that situation and I have Sure that I
- 1:35:13really can't pass judgment on them for what they did from that
- 1:35:19standpoint. So it's, can I have an opinion?
- 1:35:22Yes, it's I'd rather have an informed opinion before I do.
- 1:35:28What my fault. One other things.
- 1:35:30I love for my father. He says, it's better to keep
- 1:35:33your mouth shut and let people think you're an idiot, then to
- 1:35:36open your mouth and erase all doubt right from there, you
- 1:35:40know? So, that's kind of Yeah.
- 1:35:48Yeah, I mean I don't know I don't I don't know much about
- 1:35:51the details of all day other than like, some of the stuff you
- 1:35:56hit on earlier, you know, about the apparently, a teacher went
- 1:36:02in or an apparent went in with a shotgun and a mother mother's
- 1:36:08got tased. And I saw footage of the cops,
- 1:36:11you know, putting a concerted effort into keeping hysterical,
- 1:36:14parents back. But I mean, To protect and serve
- 1:36:22who. That's not the question, true.
- 1:36:24Yeah, of course, the Supreme Court ruled that the police do
- 1:36:29not have an obligation to go and risk their lives for you.
- 1:36:34Sure hope the Supreme Court has ruled that, then the Supreme
- 1:36:38Court should rule that my right to defend myself, which is what
- 1:36:42the second amendment is about. Should not be infringed, just a
- 1:36:47point. So, obviously, SLI.
- 1:36:48Yeah, because if the police aren't going to put themselves
- 1:36:50In Harm's Way for you, who is you?
- 1:36:52It's left to you. They're not going to be there
- 1:36:55when and these kind of things and and and the time that I
- 1:37:03would use a concealed-carry, that's a very remote chance for
- 1:37:09me, just to Stickley But one thing that's my, my father again
- 1:37:15and told me it's a one in a million chance that a cow in
- 1:37:20Vermont get struck by lightning. But it's 100% for that cow, that
- 1:37:24get struck by lightning. Sure, right, right.
- 1:37:28And that's you, get these things, you train and you you
- 1:37:35put the safety together, you take the safety courses, you go
- 1:37:40and you get training from someone else who's an expert or
- 1:37:43yeah, it is all a very important things.
- 1:37:45Yeah, right. It's a responsibility.
- 1:37:48And a lot of things we talked about here.
- 1:37:51It's about responsibility. Disability, if you're practicing
- 1:37:54personal responsibility for these things but you will do
- 1:37:57this, let's be honest. It's it is a little Well, I
- 1:38:04don't even know how little or a lot it is.
- 1:38:08But it's much like driving a car because it is you can do a great
- 1:38:14deal of damage with that thing that you're operating and is
- 1:38:19what if if you're taught properly and even, you know,
- 1:38:24even though look there's plenty of cases of Perfectly fine,
- 1:38:29drivers, their whole lives. That use that as a weapon at
- 1:38:32some, at some point, maybe not even a deadly weapon, but I
- 1:38:37mean, it's, it's a, it's real, ultimately responsibility.
- 1:38:41That's what it boils down to, and understanding.
- 1:38:47What it means, to operate that particular piece of machinery,
- 1:38:51and what it can be used for, what you shouldn't, use it for,
- 1:38:54what it should be, used for etcetera.
- 1:38:57You know, I mean, obviously, they're very different things,
- 1:38:59but it's in the responsibility realm there, not that diving.
- 1:39:03There was a guide in a vehicle that ran through a parade
- 1:39:06killed, a bunch of people up in Wisconsin.
- 1:39:08Mmm, I don't even think he's been charged, I don't know.
- 1:39:13Oh yeah, yeah, it's out of the news cycle completely.
- 1:39:17Yeah, and I remember I got fucking bought at heart.
- 1:39:20That's the first time I think ever since I've that I've had my
- 1:39:22Twitter account that I posted. So I just straight-up tweeted on
- 1:39:26my timeline. Something like this Kenosha or
- 1:39:31not Kenosha, Lakeisha, tragedy is not going to be reported on
- 1:39:38by the mainstream news and I got hit by like 10 or 12 accounts
- 1:39:44that are not followed by anybody that follows me.
- 1:39:47L said, you know different versions of the same thing?
- 1:39:50Idiot. They're all, are you not
- 1:39:52watching the news right now? Like, that's not my point.
- 1:39:56They're not, of course, the reporting on it.
- 1:39:58Now, people are dying. It's Sensational.
- 1:40:00They can get some clicks, but it will fucking die.
- 1:40:03I didn't, I'm, I wouldn't replying to all those people,
- 1:40:05but it was, I mean it because it's true that they're not going
- 1:40:10to talk about it. It's does not fit the narrative
- 1:40:13people dying. That's that fits the narrative
- 1:40:16and as they'll spin, And the rest of the details, however is
- 1:40:19favorable and then it falls out of the new cycle and only us not
- 1:40:24jobs that, you know, are paying attention ever?
- 1:40:28Talk about it. I brought I brought up the point
- 1:40:32two and I probably should have posted this on Twitter but I
- 1:40:35brought up the point into someone.
- 1:40:38I all today that these same people who say that only the
- 1:40:45cops and outgunned and whatnot are also the same people who,
- 1:40:50you know, three months from now, or whenever the next big you
- 1:40:53know black lives matter thing is the same people who say the only
- 1:40:57cop should have guns are the same people who will say, defund
- 1:41:02the police. Now I think the passage, I think
- 1:41:05the yeah, you're right. I mean, you're right
- 1:41:07fundamentally. What really, what it is is the
- 1:41:11people two years ago Were screaming about defund.
- 1:41:15The police are now, saying only cops should have guns.
- 1:41:18That's that's the reality. Right.
- 1:41:22And it's like, move the time with that girl.
- 1:41:24Wait. But yeah it's like, but wait,
- 1:41:29didn't you only want the cops to have guns?
- 1:41:31But wait, didn't you say just a few months ago to defund the
- 1:41:35poiice? So what time is it?
- 1:41:38And then just watch them just to watch them, stammer on and all
- 1:41:41of that is pretty hilarious because Well, I mean, it gets
- 1:41:48back to this isn't about democrat-republican.
- 1:41:50This is a class Warfare. Thanks, and it's also Neurosis.
- 1:41:54It's a, it's a, it's some new form of neurosis that I don't
- 1:41:58think, I mean if it's understood it's understood by military
- 1:42:02science and not, you know, not publicly disseminated But it's
- 1:42:09so it's mental illness on a different because we've never
- 1:42:12had it's something. We've regular topic on this show
- 1:42:16and it's, I mean, it's part of our world now.
- 1:42:18But this, the whole social media and internet Thing is it an
- 1:42:23entirely new Dynamic to The Human Experience?
- 1:42:27And it's evolved very quickly And seemingly, what?
- 1:42:33I mean, it's weaponized that's been weaponized for almost,
- 1:42:36since almost its Inception. Yeah, argued arguably.
- 1:42:41That's why. It was that the whole reason it
- 1:42:42came out because the military had it for a decade and did some
- 1:42:47experiments. Probably, who knows?
- 1:42:51You know, and realized. Oh, shit.
- 1:42:52Yeah, they figured out during MKUltra.
- 1:42:55That people could be programmed through trauma.
- 1:42:57And then if you could spread the news instantly from a In the
- 1:43:01person across the fucking planet and create Everlasting, trauma
- 1:43:05with the 24-hour news cycle, that could be programmed to do
- 1:43:09whatever the fuck we want, and it's right proofs in the pub as
- 1:43:13the Smashing Pumpkins. Say, despite all my rage, I am
- 1:43:17still just a rat in a cage. Yeah, right.
- 1:43:20Yeah. And that's kind of the the thing
- 1:43:23around that even if you were to and move out to the middle of
- 1:43:29the country, right? You still have to have some way
- 1:43:33of making, some kind of income to pay the taxes on it because
- 1:43:36everything around all land is taxed and then there's a lot of
- 1:43:40work around growing your own food.
- 1:43:42At that stuff's not easy, being self-sustainable is definitely
- 1:43:45not easy, so it's also not that hard if you, if you remove the
- 1:43:51text as part, if you didn't have to make money or whatever, I
- 1:43:57mean who was it? Kaczynski.
- 1:43:59Right. The I mean, there's there's
- 1:44:02several key. There's several cases the
- 1:44:04fucking the Dozer dude. You know, he had his little
- 1:44:09fucking property up, he did his own thing and the government
- 1:44:12pushed bent all of their fucking rules and lobbied every bit of
- 1:44:16power, they had to buy the dudes land up.
- 1:44:19So we spent what time you had left welding, a gun, I goddamn
- 1:44:23tank around his bulldozer and destroyed a bunch of shit.
- 1:44:26I don't even think he killed anybody though, did he?
- 1:44:29Other than himself off the top of my head I'm fairly certain he
- 1:44:33just caused millions of dollars worth of damage.
- 1:44:38You know, that one that one and there were those ranchers that
- 1:44:42like one up against the Obama administration's.
- 1:44:45Yeah. They had a back.
- 1:44:48They had a famous name that 1/8 like serial killer named though.
- 1:44:51Didn't they Bundy or something? Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 1:44:55It was yeah, it was Yeah, it was, it was like, it.
- 1:45:00Was someone invited right? Yeah.
- 1:45:03I think that. Yeah.
- 1:45:03I think I think it was the but they weren't related to the Ted
- 1:45:07Bundy, but I don't know if that's AI, don't know if it's
- 1:45:13Bundy, but it's Right.
- 1:45:30We all know we all know the big ones.
- 1:45:33Excuse me. Sorry, yeah.
- 1:45:37I mean it just You know just seems like the same people who
- 1:45:45want safety are our holidays Bundy Cliven Bundy.
- 1:45:49Yeah. Oh yeah Cliven Bundy.
- 1:45:51Yeah. What a what a fucking name dude?
- 1:45:55Cliven Bundy. Cool.
- 1:45:58Yeah that yeah that sounds like a now that sounds like an
- 1:46:02Outlaws name or something up high you know Piper I've ever
- 1:46:06heard of. I'll be right back jet.
- 1:46:08Sorry guys I'll be right back. but no, I mean like you're like
- 1:46:15you said, you know, this entire show that, you know, the
- 1:46:17government, anyone who wants to control you should be, you know,
- 1:46:22really suspicious and you know, used to be aware of of them.
- 1:46:31And so, you know, I'm glad that people are pushing back against
- 1:46:35the know, these politicians, who are trying to use yet another
- 1:46:40mass shooting to propagate gun control because that's what's
- 1:46:44happening. I don't think the politicians
- 1:46:48actually care about these kids. I think they just want to
- 1:46:52control. You know, use the kids, they're
- 1:46:56using note, good tragedy should go.
- 1:46:59Yep unused and it's To me, one of the worst things you can do
- 1:47:12is intentionally manipulate somebody else to do something
- 1:47:15against their will. I think that that's evil.
- 1:47:19Yeah, so advertising to me is evil.
- 1:47:24You're intentionally trying to get somebody to buy something
- 1:47:27they may not, right? So there's and that's the
- 1:47:31subliminal advertising other stuff.
- 1:47:32They're using things like that. And the way Manipulate words the
- 1:47:40journalists are so-called journalists of today,
- 1:47:42manipulating words, manipulating images.
- 1:47:46The the fake stuff, it was coming out of Ukraine, the fake
- 1:47:48stuff that was coming out of January 6th, all that stuff was
- 1:47:51coming out, it serves even if those things were true or not
- 1:47:58the events and what happened all of the lying around it serves to
- 1:48:02do nothing, but destroy anyone's.
- 1:48:08Confidence in what they're hearing about that.
- 1:48:10Yeah, from there. And it and you need in order to
- 1:48:16make an informed decision, you need the truth of what happened.
- 1:48:22I do not want my gun rights curtailed because of what
- 1:48:25happened in Texas. I however do want a full
- 1:48:29investigation of what happened and since I do not know police
- 1:48:34procedure, I want that independently done and they
- 1:48:40review what they did, and if they followed their protocols as
- 1:48:43they were supposed to be, there's no reason to blame any
- 1:48:47of the officers, right? If they didn't.
- 1:48:53Okay, that's a different story, but if they follow that, then
- 1:48:55you look is the policy and procedure.
- 1:48:59Correct? Right, that's that.
- 1:49:02Next step to go from there and unfortunately, you have to be
- 1:49:06reactionary to these things. The proactive nature is the
- 1:49:13family unit and not overloading, our teachers are too many kids.
- 1:49:19We're spending more on education than we ever have and yet our
- 1:49:22education system is worse shape. It's been in a long time.
- 1:49:25Yeah it has to be because most of that money is going to
- 1:49:28Administration and other things. Yeah.
- 1:49:30Going to actually teach you the children and some of the books
- 1:49:34and stuff that have shown up in these curriculums, I think we
- 1:49:38can see where this stuff is going.
- 1:49:39It's going to fund, you know, some of this crap.
- 1:49:43But yeah, that's the natural critical thinking part of it.
- 1:49:51Don't. I'm trying to hold my words
- 1:49:57because Do I am I upset at the possibility that the police did
- 1:50:03not go into that and save those kids me, as a human being, I
- 1:50:08want to think that if I were in that situation, I would go in
- 1:50:10there to save those kids, right? No matter what know, what was
- 1:50:14called, no matter what their the training, or any of that stuff,
- 1:50:18I've never been in that situation.
- 1:50:21I don't know as a song by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
- 1:50:25I've never had to knock on wood but if I had, you know, I would
- 1:50:30I be able to make the call but I be able to do this.
- 1:50:34Yeah, what I desert my post when the shells were flying or would
- 1:50:38I be the hero and go up and sacrifice my life?
- 1:50:41I don't know. I've never been faced with those
- 1:50:44kind of hard choices. Those people were am, I upset?
- 1:50:49Does it just My blood boil to think that they wouldn't ya.
- 1:50:55And I, what I've got to back off and let the investigation
- 1:50:59happen, if the investigation doesn't happen and they sweep
- 1:51:03the stuff under the rug, I think we can all know why they did.
- 1:51:11Yeah, interesting. Apex you were going to say
- 1:51:14something. Nope, I'm gonna bite my tongue.
- 1:51:22Alrighty. Well, we are coming up on two
- 1:51:24hours actually and I invite no. You said, you were fading, you
- 1:51:30know, open up that. So yeah, well I mean, I really
- 1:51:35appreciate you coming on especially because I know, you
- 1:51:38know, this show does try 10, which is kind of, you know,
- 1:51:42white on Saturday but you know, even so I still hope.
- 1:51:47Yeah. I'm sorry.
- 1:51:49I'm actually sorry that I was late.
- 1:51:51I you know that's a stupid my stupid real job but I heard a
- 1:51:55little bit of the conversation earlier and great guests like
- 1:51:59we'd love to have you back. I would dare to say sure.
- 1:52:03Yeah. Well Sam and I will work it out

- 1:52:21to figure that out, you know. So but that and like I said,
- 1:52:25you're, you're welcome to come on to come on with him.
- 1:52:30Sure, I know that he's a gun expert.
- 1:52:31I know that he's a gun expert, so I would be really curious to
- 1:52:37talk out, you know, some of the stuff with him as a gun expert.
- 1:52:41Because when I was on the cocktail lounge last night, we
- 1:52:45talked a little bit about it, but Like I'm pro-second
- 1:52:49Amendment my don't but I don't know much about guns Beyond like
- 1:52:53what a Glock is and whatnot, right.
