- 7:02[SPEAKER_13]: was there was so much news over the weekend we talked about a lot of it yesterday said he counts the last night I watched the thing on your behalf so you didn't have to and it was fairly benign meeting I mean it was that you know that whole residency thing came up and hot with only went on and on and on it was just like you kind of vote for it just vote for it
- 7:26[SPEAKER_13]: What's a big deal?
- 7:27[SPEAKER_13]: It passed four to one, the local law, I count some in Reservoir voting.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_13]: No, she raised a good point when she said, well, what's the consequence of voting?
- 7:34[SPEAKER_13]: No, there hasn't been any so far.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_13]: We knew it was illegal when we did it.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_13]: And we did it anyway.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_13]: And unless somebody takes you to court, there's nothing going to happen.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_13]: But they passed it.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_13]: And then I had somebody pointing out to me this morning, and I kind of knew it myself.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you still have a contract with the manager or do you?
- 7:53[SPEAKER_13]: Or was it ever valid?
- 7:57[SPEAKER_13]: And you can certainly have a public officer's law wave, but you can still have a certain employees still subject to contractual obligation.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_13]: But who knows?
- 8:12[SPEAKER_13]: Who knows?
- 8:12[SPEAKER_13]: They get the opinions they want, and they pay for them, and then what was that dust up between Councilman Olney and Dr. Kimball?
- 8:21[SPEAKER_13]: Wow, that was something, wasn't it?
- 8:25[SPEAKER_13]: Some people say the doctor go to him by bringing up that ethics thing and then we gotta get that resolved.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_13]: Well, it's gonna be expensive getting that resolved, but whatever is spent.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_13]: And somebody said to me another day that whole ethics thing is the city is equivalent of Russia, Russia, Russia.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_13]: It's a hoax.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_13]: But, and they already got what they wanted.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_13]: They guys got off the scene of the year.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_13]: They wanted them in jail, but they didn't get that.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_13]: But they just got to wait out the last five long, arduous months.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_13]: And the holidays mixed in there, so nobody paying much attention.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I mean, you just have to listen to what he says every week and smile, move on.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_13]: I went over a couple of speed bumps today.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_13]: You know that ramp from the wide parking lot down to court street goes around.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, that parking lot's in the parking deck.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, it was two bumps there and a ten mile and a speed limit.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_13]: It's not a public street, but I just thought it was.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_13]: I'm kind of a tune to speed bumps now, isn't all the publicity over them.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_13]: Let's see.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_13]: Second day stories on a temple street fire.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_13]: There are doing about water service and everything, but I guess the hydrants here were marked with an orange tag or something, same here were low flow hydrants.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_13]: Do the nature of the mains in that district, so you have to go over to Thompson Boulevard.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't know, there's a fire department, the water department, we're at each other and whatever.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_13]: We found out where Blake Gendobine was on Sunday when he was not in Platsburg doing hangout with
- 10:03[SPEAKER_13]: uh... the one of the new iconic figures in the democratic party in the party that's a.o.c.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_13]: l.a.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_13]: exandrio ocassio corsets.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_13]: mr. gen to be in was it a democratic picnic in Washington county which is over east of uh... kind of southeast of Albany.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_13]: you know way over there way over uh... and it's in the twenty first district
- 10:26[SPEAKER_13]: And he was there with Congressman George Latimer from the Hudson Valley.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_13]: So I mean, listen, I'm not here to argue about it.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_13]: He was at a Democratic event, but he didn't mind if we've seen apparently at the AOC event, even though she's a leading figure.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_13]: Now, Ross was telling me yesterday that, well, you know, I heard that the far left doesn't like him anymore because he was considered too Republican.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_13]: Now, the far left's got nowhere else to go.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_13]: They're going to vote for him because they hate Stefanite and they hate Trump.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_13]: And whoever the Republicans put up next year if it's stack or what were they put up they're going to hate him too.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_13]: So, um, gender being has no problem with the laugh.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_13]: He's just got to see if he can, um, garnered votes from the center and from whatever.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_13]: But, so anyway, he was over there.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_13]: Again, this is,
- 11:20[SPEAKER_13]: Not huge news story, but to kind of tidbits, the sidebars to news you find out only from live at five or from the hotline.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, not saying I'm a qualified newsman or anything else is just that we, you know, do bring you a few things here and there that are of interest.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, well, let's see what's on.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, this cold bear thing.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_13]: Jimmy Fallon, John Oliver, don't know who he is.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_13]: John Stuart, Seth Meyers, and other stars came to the late show of the audience to support Stephen Colbert.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_13]: Listen, the guy got a show cancel because the ratings were bad.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_13]: They were losing money.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_13]: That happens in broadcasting or anywhere else.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you've got to deliver the eyeballs.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_13]: That's what you're doing TV.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_13]: You're in the radio.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_13]: We have to deliver the ears.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_13]: And if you're not entertaining enough to do it, then you could end up in that situation.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_13]: But Colbert, I don't know.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_13]: He says he's going to really take the gloves off and go after Trump.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_13]: I say, take that off the air channel seven.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_13]: Just take it off.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_13]: Nobody likes it.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_13]: If that's all that you're going to put on.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my god, it's everything's never Trump.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_13]: Trump sucks.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_13]: Topic news today.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_13]: Ten drownings.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_13]: It doesn't traffic accidents, resulting in fatalities, but our top story is Trump sucks.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_13]: Now to see the SNU's.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_13]: No, it's crazy.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_13]: Seven, five, five, twelve, forty, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_13]: Glenn Curry and I are going to, we have a visit schedule with Jolane Maxwell.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_13]: We're going to get the real story on the whole Epstein thing for you.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_13]: Everybody, I get these people like SG and others clamoring for it.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_13]: And they're, they're just not getting enough of the salacious details.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_13]: And yeah, I think Glenn and I are capable of soliciting the salaciousness out of Ms.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_13]: Wack Maxwell.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_13]: So, yeah, we're going to be doing that.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_13]: Um, actually, I don't really care.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_13]: Do I care?
- 13:29[SPEAKER_13]: And they said that Trump wrote
- 13:34[SPEAKER_13]: Epstein and birthday, a note on a birthday card, on his fiftieth birthday in two thousand three.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_13]: They call it a body message.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_13]: Body, does anyone know what the word in today's world?
- 13:48[SPEAKER_13]: Does anyone know what body means?
- 13:49[SPEAKER_13]: No, it's not even a word to use anymore.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_13]: And so what if it was?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, twelve, thirteen years before you, twelve years before you announced, if you was running for problem, what is this craziness?
- 14:02[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we gotta get him.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_13]: We're gonna, you know, and now they're making pictures, whether they're AI or how they're done, where they take it, obviously, young lady, and combine them with an image of Trump and put his hand on it, like her thigh or something.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_13]: I saw a bunch of those out there.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_13]: They're trying to build the narrative.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_13]: It's kind of like the dirty tricks where they did with the Russia Russia Russia.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_13]: Two years back.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_13]: Anyway, President meeting today with the President of the Philippines.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_13]: What did we like to fill up the dumps?
- 14:42[SPEAKER_13]: We used to own them.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_13]: Remember that?
- 14:44[SPEAKER_13]: Got him in the Spanish-American War in XIXIII.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_13]: And then we let him go free after World War II.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know if we should have done that.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_13]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_13]: Today, Mr. Trump said that President Xi has invited him to visit China.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_13]: China.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_13]: Is that going to do any good
- 15:04[SPEAKER_13]: Um, then I guess it's not a bad place to go.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_13]: See the wall, see Tiananmen Square, the terracotta soldiers, whatever they are, all the highlights there.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_13]: Seven, five, five, twelve, forty or four number.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_13]: If you'd like to be on the air and
- 15:28[SPEAKER_13]: These are some topics.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_13]: If you have other topics, give us a hoot and a holler.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_13]: Did any of you watch the council meeting last night?
- 15:34[SPEAKER_13]: I just didn't know what you thought of the whole, uh, there were some people who got up and said some things at the beginning that were in one person complaining about peanut parked downtown and this is badly maintained.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_13]: And then, uh, there were other people complaining about this and that.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_13]: One guy got up and said he owns a weed show of cannabis dispensary or a store in Polaskan was talking about help.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_13]: his store in one year generated a hundred and fifty thousand dollars for the village of the last guy gets the municipality involved that's kind of interesting it's not what we were told a couple weeks ago in the council was told that all the stores in Syracuse only generated a hundred thousand
- 16:18[SPEAKER_13]: This fellow from Alaska made a good point.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_13]: He says, I saw the other day where Councilman Schoen said there were twenty-one tobacco shops in town.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_13]: Well, just so you know, there's no payroll tax and no sales tax being generated in any of them.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_13]: And of course, that went right over there, how do they counsel here there?
- 16:34[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, was that big?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_13]: Was that big?
- 16:38[SPEAKER_13]: Is it all under the table?
- 16:41[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_13]: So there you go.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_13]: I get anything out of it.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_13]: And I didn't go all of government to get more money.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, I didn't see much else at the council meeting.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_13]: It was worthwhile last night.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_13]: Other than the spat between Olnay and the doctor.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_13]: Fascinating.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_13]: At one point, apparently Olnay was saying
- 17:13[SPEAKER_13]: that the doctor was out to get him because he resented the fact that only he had led the charge against taking the bus contract away from Freeman Boss, remember a few years ago, at the time when the doctor was wife was head of the school board.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_13]: Boy, bring in somebody's wife into the argument now.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_13]: I thought there was, I thought maybe they were going to come to blowers or at least that maybe
- 17:38[SPEAKER_13]: Mr. Olney might have a coronary or something the way he was getting so upset, but at least with a doctor there, you know, he can get treatment for it.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_13]: Now, seven, five, five, twelve, forty, the phone number.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_13]: If you'd like to give us a hoot and a holler here to be on the show of shows today, we'll take time out for messages and be back with more at a moment.

- 20:54[SPEAKER_21]: Call seventy two one two four zero to learn more about how community broadcasters can help you grow your business.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_21]: That's seventy two one two four zero and get radio working for you.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_20]: The news and talk authority.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_13]: It's all you need to know.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_13]: All you need to know.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_13]: You know, there's a story in a Wall Street Journal.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_13]: It's kind of interesting about chat GPP.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_13]: That's the AI service.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_13]: It's got publicity in the local news due to one councilman using it for as well.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_13]: I ran it through chat GPT years.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_13]: Don't say you did it.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_13]: If you did it as an aid to your deliberations or something, there's nothing wrong with that.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_13]: I mean,
- 21:39[SPEAKER_13]: A lot of us have in some capacity used AI, but you don't sit there and make it sound like AI is thinking for you.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_13]: But that's kind of a say anyway.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_13]: There's a story here about the service of blurring the line between fantasy and reality.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_13]: And for people with things like autism and stuff, stakes are higher for vulnerable people.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_13]: This is an interesting story.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_13]: uh... chat GPT told Jacob Irwin he had achieved the ability to bend time or went a thirty-year-old man on the autism spectrum who had no previous diagnosis of mental illness had asked chat to find flaws with his amateur theory unfastered in light travel he became convinced he had made a stunning scientific breakthrough when erwin questioned the chat bot's validation of his ideas the bot encouraged him telling him the theory of theory was sound
- 22:31[SPEAKER_13]: And when Irwin showed signs of psychological distress, chat assured him it was fine.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you can get too into this, man.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_13]: You're not asking the thing, you know, oh, my crazy or am I, you know, have a psychosis or something.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_13]: But anyway, I, you know, I was reading that and I'm saying, well, and then I look at last night's council meeting and
- 22:57[SPEAKER_13]: I'll off the rails things got in.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_13]: Maybe that chat thing is a little dangerous.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_13]: Now.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, I think use properly.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_13]: It's like anything used properly.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_13]: It's okay.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_13]: But... I can bend the curve of reality or something.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_13]: It's all sorts of things.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_13]: The bot gave the illusion of sentient companionship that had blurred the line between imagine of roleplay and reality.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_13]: Wow, that's weird.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_13]: Now, I don't think most people would be able to say, well, it is what it is.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, you can get information or check on this or that.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_13]: Wow.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody asks, can you play a clip from last night?
- 23:58[SPEAKER_13]: And I don't really see any unused junkies.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_13]: So no.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_13]: Normally, if there's one on there, we can get it.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_13]: But I didn't see any.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_13]: Well, let's see.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_13]: They finally had a story in the news about why the water general Walmart lost power three times.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_13]: They blamed it in birds twice.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_13]: I've never known birds because of that though, I mean.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, you got a whole strip of malls and strip malls and stores and I've never seen birds, yeah.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, well.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_13]: Well, the temperature is there.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_13]: We, nice day.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_13]: Beautiful.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_13]: What a beautiful day.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_13]: It is sunny in seventy five.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_13]: Quintessential summer day, but it's gonna get rup warm again.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_13]: eighty-five tomorrow and close to ninety on thursday as the it's gonna be a steamer so you people who enjoy leaving your uh... dogs and others in locked uh... closed up cars of thursday of your day yeah i mean i'm just kidding of course you don't put their arms we've already had reports of that kind of stupidity going
- 25:11[SPEAKER_13]: After all these years of hearing news stories about people locking kids or dogs or whatever, in hot cars, any time of year, but especially in summer, and people still do it.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_13]: We've had at least two reports on dogs just in the last week.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_13]: Still goes on.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_13]: All I'm any time to be heard those stories on TV and stuff.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_13]: Don't do it.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_13]: All the warnings.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_13]: Well, it's like he don't hold the firecracker when you're lighting it morning.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I'm going to hold that.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_13]: That's why I've got those M-eighties and I'm not going to light him because I don't want hurt myself.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_13]: Certainly not going to hold one of my hand or I like the fuse.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, what else have we got?
- 26:03[SPEAKER_13]: Anything else good?
- 26:04[SPEAKER_13]: It's about it.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, we've got
- 26:09[SPEAKER_13]: Let's see.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_13]: Now, you know that whole thing with the Coldplay concert and the CEO and his HR exec, she has not been fired.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_13]: Now, can she, can she sue the company?
- 26:28[SPEAKER_13]: Now, obviously, you know, being an HR person, she should have known you shouldn't be in relationships, but
- 26:38[SPEAKER_13]: She was caught canoeedling with her CEO at a Coldplay concert last week.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, this is, um, what's her name?
- 26:47[SPEAKER_13]: Buyer.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_13]: No.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_13]: Kristen Cabot.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_13]: People don't really know what her role was.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_13]: You know, I've seen pictures over the river where she looks quite flushing, fetching the one that gets a lot of play is not real flattering, but I don't take, you know, anybody can have a bad picture for a second.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't know what's going to happen to her.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_13]: It's probably a pro blanche.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_13]: What's there?
- 27:23[SPEAKER_13]: He's male and he's pale and a little bit stale.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_13]: She's pale and female.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_13]: And is the state interested in it?
- 27:35[SPEAKER_13]: The state haven't interested in that.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_13]: But, and how right is it to go to a concert?
- 27:43[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you can go to a Joe Rich concert and all of a sudden you're on the Kiss Cam or something.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_13]: Now, don't worry.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, it wouldn't go viral here.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_13]: Our local media would, they'd help protect you unless it was somebody that didn't like.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_13]: But if it was like a local celebrity or something, caught conneudling with somebody that shouldn't, well, what exactly has meant by conneudling anyway?
- 28:11[SPEAKER_13]: Anybody know?
- 28:12[SPEAKER_15]: Hmm.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_13]: Now, what about the Washington Red Skin?
- 28:16[SPEAKER_13]: Should they be brought back?
- 28:17[SPEAKER_13]: That's in the news again.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_13]: Trump, you know.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, I think, I don't know if I have a feeling it's about it or not.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_13]: It's saying red skins racist.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_13]: No, I think so.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_13]: Think of they just left it as it is.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_13]: It may not be a word a term or moniker that you would introduce to the lexicon these days of sports teams, but it was always there.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_13]: Now we have to call them the commanders.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_15]: Hmm.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_13]: Just like we have to call the Cleveland Indians, the Guardians, because it makes the lips feel good.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_13]: And you know who you are.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_13]: One of you will be calling in roughly twenty minutes.

- 32:23[SPEAKER_20]: around the corner, around the continent, around the clock.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_20]: This is the news in talk authority, AM-Twelve-Forty.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_20]: W-A-T-N.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, I'm Troll-Forty, W-A-T-N.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_13]: We do have that council meeting.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_11]: When I look at some of it right here, I try to have the Syracuse for the box company that I work for down there.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_11]: So, I'm much of, you know what I'm saying?
- 32:45[SPEAKER_11]: It's cutting out there.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_11]: So, in, you know, housing.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we're trying to find the part where Cliff Holy and the doctor go at it.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_13]: But it's kind of having trouble loading.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_11]: Well, for the public's benefit, the ethics charge that was brought against me was brought in our own city attorneys opinion as Jeff Smith as an individual.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_11]: And so as an individual none of us here who would have the ability to view
- 33:17[SPEAKER_11]: able to bring a charge against another city member unless it was as a city member, then it would have to be to a vote.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_11]: When it went to the Ethics Committee, it was done by an emergency meeting.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_11]: It was called for by the former Mayor Jeff Smith, to the former city manager that would have been ten mix.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_11]: And it was an emergency meeting because
- 33:41[SPEAKER_11]: They knew Jeff knew that Todd Ballard, who had worked with him for almost an entire month on developing and drafting the ethics charge against me, think what you want, at a cost of nineteen thousand dollars.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_11]: with no supporting resolution to authorize the expenditure of that money with no support from the council to allow for an ethics charge to be brought against me by council because there wasn't a support for it at the time.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_11]: All right, but he did it anyway.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_11]: And now here we are, how many years later.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_11]: And so what I would suggest is that this was done strictly and only as a political play for the former mayor to smear my name, drag my reputation through the mod, and to win politically.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_11]: This was not what I was planning to talk about, but I will say a few more words about it.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_11]: And then we see in the York State investigation being called on by a email that was determined in an opinion that was possibly bribery.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_11]: And then when I ran it and I looked at it, I didn't see it.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_11]: But that's turned into a full fledged investigation into the state police or by the state police into sitting council members that evolved from that bribery charge that was a P. J. It was accused of into a full fledged investigation into the land purchase again
- 35:22[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, well, obviously the stream cuts out a little bit there, but that's part of what it was.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_13]: You got going pretty good.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_13]: You got chewing on the doctor's ear a little bit.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_13]: You know, I don't know what to say about it all.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, it's council meeting, you know, public records there, it's not anything proprietary, but arguing over executive session a couple weeks ago, they were talking about an executive session related to the city managers.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_13]: Residency and nobody seemed to set about that so I don't really know what's going on there But if there's gonna be a trial Yeah, I think here's the part where we get syndrome people that I brought there against the Freeman bus Being outed by an national bus company that had safety issues
- 36:10[SPEAKER_11]: in drivers that have been drunk, and that company came there.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_11]: And since then, since I talked to you, I had no idea that you held that against me all this time, but now I can see.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_11]: So we will all probably set for no good reason to go through.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_11]: Now I had said to you before, were you to have read?
- 36:29[SPEAKER_11]: his complaint, how was ever crafted by the tyranny is beside me, because I could do better in Chad G.P.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_13]: There you go.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_13]: Bring it up, Chad again.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_13]: Well, anyway, he's complaining because he says, Dr. Kimbles wife didn't like him because he led the charge and favor of Freeman Boss.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_13]: That was years ago.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_13]: And all of that.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_13]: So he just is going on and on.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_13]: Anyway, it's, there is some nastiness there.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_13]: You could tell.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_13]: There's just some nastiness there.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_13]: But you can go to put Google Steve weed, productions, and then you find the link that says rumble, and then you get in there, and you can find the council meetings.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_13]: And I guess, as we saw here, it cuts out, and maybe it has a little problem buffering or something like that.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_13]: But still, you can get the gist of it.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_13]: If you're interested.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_13]: If you're not, you're not.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_13]: But, um... I don't know.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_13]: Anybody have it?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_13]: Anybody vote for any of the five that were there who regrets their vote now?
- 37:39[SPEAKER_13]: No.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_13]: At one point or another, I voted for three of the five.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_13]: The other two I never voted for.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_13]: But, um...
- 37:59[SPEAKER_13]: There he is.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_11]: He's still going million dollars that we would have gotten back in that investment.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_11]: But it's never been let go.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my god.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_13]: It just goes on and he went on and on and on and on and on and on about residency.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_13]: There's a lot to be said for punctuality and and succinctness and economy of words.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_13]: One of the first things you really need to learn.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, Lincoln's Getty's Burger Dress.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_13]: Economy of words.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_13]: Right?
- 38:32[SPEAKER_13]: You've got to learn how to make your point without boring listener.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_13]: And it's tough.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_13]: These issues are so many battles gone by and nuances to it all and legal fine points and everything else.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_13]: It's hard to really make sense of it all.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_13]: At this point I guess nobody really cares and I guess some people care but they don't care.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_13]: They're just tired of it.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_13]: They wanted to go away.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_13]: Now, what about the council race that's going on?
- 39:05[SPEAKER_13]: To see where the one councilman who put his house up for sale, Garibrand, council candidate, the first place, uh, finisher in the primary, uh, there's an example of when you get into public life, people are going to pick up on that.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_13]: And, um,
- 39:23[SPEAKER_13]: You might as well just get it out and say, well, you know, looking for a different house here in town.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_13]: And in the meantime, I'm putting mine up for sale.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_13]: It's a nice one.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_13]: Can house he has on Chestnut Street.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_13]: You can go on on the Zillow thing and as all the pictures inside, everything looks very nice.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_13]: I have two seventy-nine he's asking.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_13]: Same price that the SG is asking.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_13]: I think if I were going to pay two seventy-nine, I think I'd prefer to live on Chestnut Street as opposed to Dorsey.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_13]: But that's just my feeling.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_13]: Nothing wrong with Dorsey Street.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_13]: I just don't think I paid two seventy nine to live there.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_13]: Well, what else have we got going on?
- 40:06[SPEAKER_13]: So there was that.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_13]: I even heard anything out of these other council candidates on any of these issues.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_13]: And I don't know where we're not going to necessarily hear it anywhere.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_13]: They're not doing any campaign.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_13]: Most of them just took the summer off.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_13]: And they kind of agreed to do that.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_13]: The Velasquez lad, he's a little more outspoken, but unless you'll follow his Facebook stuff, you're not gonna know.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_13]: I really don't know about these candidates.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_13]: Who do you want a vote for of the four?
- 40:41[SPEAKER_13]: We're on the ballot.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_13]: Or do you want to vote for somebody else for your right in?
- 40:48[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_13]: You tell me.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_13]: seven five five twelve forty are phone number if you'd like to be on the hotline today what a positive calls it well it is a beautiful day you can't beat the weather i mean for gardening for just walking or for for all i can uh... i think the uh... it looks like a this is not only going to be a nice picked in day this is going to be a picked in month
- 41:16[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_13]: It's a great month to be up there.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_13]: You know, now that I've identified who that guy was was body was found there.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_13]: I don't think that slowed anybody down.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_13]: It happened that overnight on a Sunday after everybody had gone home.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_13]: So, you know, I don't think it upset anybody's bumping and grinding.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_13]: So, still don't know a lot of details.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_13]: Hopefully we'll find out more.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_13]: But after doing her on the air,
- 41:46[SPEAKER_17]: Hey, Jeff, you were just asking a little bit about if you regretted who you voted for last city council.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, so only one candidate that I voted for made it, and that was Lisa, and I pretty much regretted that immediately.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_17]: She lied to me and told me how she's Republican and all this, but if you look at her record, it's the farthest thing from being Republican when it comes to, oh, she votes with the city issues.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_13]: Right.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_17]: immediately you know regretted that like a great and then of course all the scandals that came out a slightly scandalous just controversy really with the golf course and and all that so yeah I definitely regretted voting for her for sure now if you've already had a lecture that's the one that only also got elected i did not vote for him now all the people just think I voted for him but I didn't I was
- 42:46[SPEAKER_17]: I wrote Republican when I when I vote and I the person I voted for didn't make it so was that Lisa made it Michelle Capone you know I'm trying to remember who it was it was either Capone or Horton Amy Horton there's a blast from the past yeah yeah so I you know voted Republican and
- 43:11[SPEAKER_17]: She just hasn't, you know, she always keeps bringing that up.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, I voted for Trump and stuff, but listen, your city issues and how you vote are the complete opposite of what the president is doing.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_17]: I mean, I do that four years ago.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_17]: Of course.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_17]: And it's right.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_17]: It does give a lot of false information.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_17]: It's really designed that way.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_17]: People are falling for it.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, you're cutting out there, where are you?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_17]: What's that?
- 43:46[SPEAKER_13]: You got a problem with a connection here.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_17]: Can you hear me?
- 43:49[SPEAKER_17]: Is that the yard?
- 43:50[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I just, are you in a room or something, where are you?
- 43:54[SPEAKER_17]: All right, is that better?
- 43:56[SPEAKER_13]: Not really.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_17]: All right, I'll call back when you need to come in.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, thank you.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_13]: Go outside.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_13]: Find a cell tower.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_13]: uh... seven five five twelve forty the phone number if you'd like to uh... give us our hotel today uh... some rushers to say that brevity is the soul of wit yeah i agree i mean brevity's a good thing uh... and we don't see enough of that
- 44:38[SPEAKER_13]: Seven, five, five, twelve, forty, the phone number.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_13]: If you'd like to give us a call, to be on the show today.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_13]: And, um... Well, see what's going on here.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_13]: Whatever you want to talk about, share a game with us.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_13]: You may use an interesting point there about... Do you regret any of the people you voted for?
- 45:04[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, not just here, but in other offices too.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_13]: Many of you voted for Kathy Hockel, do you regret it or not?
- 45:13[SPEAKER_13]: Um, it's to find it, or, Kenny, do you regret them?
- 45:18[SPEAKER_13]: Of course, the other ones are always on a post.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_13]: That's Walsek, Scott Gray, Blankin' Bush.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_13]: They're the holy Trinity.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, so they don't have to ever face opposition.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_13]: They have seats for life, or as long as they want.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_13]: Hmm?
- 45:35[SPEAKER_13]: You didn't know that?
- 45:36[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_13]: Well, there is no, remember the old days when at least the Democrats could put up a Bob Booshard or a Rose Ward.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_13]: There's an opponent.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_13]: At least there was something, even if they didn't win.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_13]: But now there's nobody.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_13]: Nobody.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_13]: It's amazing.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_18]: Why am I clamoring for Epstein's thus?
- 46:10[SPEAKER_18]: I'm the one who said he was a pedophile for a year ago and told you all the stuff that he'd done.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_18]: And those pictures are real.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, there's probably in faith ones being made that there's a lot of pictures of him.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_18]: And that thing he said on Stern's show when he said he was, he's like, well, not going to do a twelve-year-old.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, that's gross.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_13]: Well, why did he say that on Stern?
- 46:34[SPEAKER_18]: Oh, it's back.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_13]: It was a years ago, but because I mean, listen, I know, and then in modern age, you can pick through everything.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_13]: And when you're on the media as much as him, if you're on shows like Stern or Glenn show or something like that, God knows what might be on tape somewhere.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_18]: I have people running and I said, well, back in two thousand, sixteen, you said, I mean, I just with teenage girls, where him and Epstein were just the only people there.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, well, let's know different.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_18]: That birthday card, and that's the only thing I have seen new, everything else is bad.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_13]: Look at, I don't go to write it.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_18]: The birthday card, it's just weird.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_18]: You ever said, you hope you share a secret every day with someone, and that's just weird.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, but I don't know.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know, because you don't want to say, you chose a pedophile, but he's a pedophile, so... No, no, people use someone.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_13]: Oh my god, you use a word pedophile, you don't even know what it means.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_13]: Come on.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_18]: And he's doing under eight kids, what he's talking about, you don't know what to means.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_13]: Well, what are you talking about?
- 47:35[SPEAKER_18]: What are you talking about?
- 47:36[SPEAKER_13]: What are you talking about?
- 47:38[SPEAKER_18]: What are you talking about?
- 47:41[SPEAKER_18]: What are you talking about?
- 47:42[SPEAKER_18]: What are you talking about?
- 47:44[SPEAKER_13]: What are you talking about?
- 47:45[SPEAKER_13]: What are you talking about?
- 47:47[SPEAKER_18]: What are you talking about?
- 47:49[SPEAKER_18]: What are you talking about?
- 47:50[SPEAKER_18]: What are you talking about?
- 47:50[SPEAKER_18]: What are you talking about?
- 47:55[SPEAKER_13]: Well, yeah, but I think they're a difference and I agree with you.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_18]: I agree with you something.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_18]: I'm sixty three out.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_13]: I agree with you.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_13]: There's a creepy factor and people, you know, if you're hanging around a misteen page in or something.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you know, it's like being a gymnastic scotch.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_13]: That's creepy.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_18]: Keep ragged.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_18]: You got to see the girls naked when they're teenagers.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_18]: It's just horrible.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_18]: You know, but we've talked enough about that.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_18]: If you guys can justify that in your mind.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_13]: I've never heard I say that.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_18]: I think they're going to release Maxwell from jail just for a new trial and then she's going to slip in the time fortunate she'll slip in the shower tomorrow.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, one of those things.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_18]: But I'm regretting, I regret it.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_18]: I'm only for sure.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_18]: None of the other ones I voted for on council, just clear up the close for, you know.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_18]: Even when I was still friends with him, he goes on and on and on nothing.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_18]: He just likes to hear the sound of his voice so much that he keeps going on and on.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_13]: uh... council meeting and you know we want to give but we want to give a fair hearing to the pointy makes and he does have good points to make but he just goes on and on and on like last night and he keeps swabbering yeah and he calls him out by the first name at the airport and time and the other guy and and they do a wonderful job and we've got it they're going to like you they don't like you
- 49:23[SPEAKER_18]: When we went back when the guy came in that love the library and he went to everything from the microphone to whatever.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, we love the library.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_13]: You know, the city manager signed an affirmation in one of those court cases against all these interests and all these still sit sentences.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, Eric does a great job.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_13]: Well, he may do a great job.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_13]: He may be a nice guy, a prince of a guy.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_13]: I only matter once, but the point is, Mr. Only, he wants you out of there.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_13]: These other people you're trying to suck up to, we're trying to put you in jail, learn something from it.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_13]: Jeez.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_18]: Exactly.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_18]: Exactly.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_18]: But I mean, how's it back to him?
- 50:06[SPEAKER_18]: If he had been true to his word, but, you know, he couldn't.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, the dog park here wanted to see.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_18]: He is like the simplest thing to do is get it done and then he can't get it done.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_18]: You know, whole time there, he never even put it on the table as a saying, you know, I mean, talk about not doing what you had promised.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, that's just, it's just stupid because they're everywhere.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, that's just the stupidity of anybody going off about
- 50:32[SPEAKER_18]: I would go park whatever.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_18]: It's like they're everywhere.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_18]: I went to Needles, California, which is not only made it out to Needles, and they got it out for us.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_13]: And it's hot out there.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_18]: Oh yeah, yeah, very much.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_18]: But yeah.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_13]: You could leave your dog outside in the near future.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_18]: I would, there's enough outside the area.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know that they need the dog park there, but they have one.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_18]: It's just a nice thing, and it'll improve the park.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know what to say.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_18]: We're never going to have one to get it didn't even get you into that more.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_18]: You know, I said it on the golf course, you know, I was friends with him at point.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_18]: He's calling me and I'm like, you need to negotiate with them.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_18]: That's too high at price.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_18]: Oh, you know, that you're going to build condos.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_18]: You're the counsel.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_18]: You can, if he can certainly stand in the way of him, but he counts.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_13]: One thing I never understood from that whole era and granted I was out in a loop there, but so what if somebody was going to build condos on golf course?
- 51:30[SPEAKER_13]: You ever watch a golf tournament on TV?
- 51:32[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, they all have condos along the far ones.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_18]: That's because they had to to to because golf is a dying sport and they had to do to support the golf course.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_18]: We don't need to do that for our golf course.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_18]: I watched just a city park.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_18]: You know, it may be to you.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_13]: I was watching the open the other day from England.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_13]: I enjoyed it.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_18]: Well, I'm not saying it golf has definitely declined.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, it may come back like when Tiger Woods was in it, I think it was
- 51:58[SPEAKER_13]: It was coming back more and then there's another one that's declining is NASCAR.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_13]: You don't see anybody wearing those leather jackets, Jeff Gordon jackets or Ernard or anything.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_18]: I agree.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_13]: I guess that's getting old too and horse racing.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_18]: A lot of stuff got all the cars safe now for the crashes.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know anything spectacular.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_13]: Just to see the crashes, you know, uh... I never found a lot of entertainment in it anyway.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_18]: No, I didn't either.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_18]: I went to the sidecar races, my grandpa.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_13]: And I don't understand how it's even done now in the different, you know, in the start.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_13]: I never understood it, most of it.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't, you know, unless you get somebody like a Danica Patrick there looking good doing it, I'm not interested.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, absolutely need to, you know, like stars that.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_18]: Right.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_18]: What ever sport it is.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_18]: If you ever want to see kickboxing, there's Japanese Mona Kimura and she was trained in judo and boxing and she had three fights and she just annihilates them because she just
- 53:13[SPEAKER_18]: They should be expecting crap on them and she can balance on her one foot like amazing.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_18]: It's just like okay.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's not I don't want to hear about all your Asian fantasies.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_13]: I got to run here.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_18]: Oh, you check it out.

- 56:12[SPEAKER_13]: One thing I noticed though is he always addresses the council members like councilman, Kimball or council mayor or whatever.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_13]: And those people still in public sessions and I think it's inappropriate.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_13]: They sit there in a dressing a city attorney and say, well, Kristen, what do you think?
- 56:27[SPEAKER_13]: Or Eric is for that.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_13]: Learn a little decorum.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_13]: I know that's, I know some people say, you don't have to do that, but even at a local council meeting, I don't think I ever did that when I was in there.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_13]: Well, Mary, what's Bob think, you know?
- 56:45[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, or afternoon you're on the air.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, I don't want this to be that.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_13]: What's up?
- 56:50[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, I'm sure enjoying this weather.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_16]: This is my deal.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_16]: I love it.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_16]: OK.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_16]: Well, out of time, I'm at a boat.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_16]: It's the planet.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_16]: I know there's been to the planet, Sam.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_16]: You know what?
- 57:03[SPEAKER_16]: I don't know what I'm like about it.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_16]: She's not all bad.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_16]: I'm a devil, Sam.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_16]: But I'm not totally against it.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_16]: She changed her tools real fast.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_16]: When she started out, she was like, oh, I'm sorry, and I'm across the aisle.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_16]: I can do what's at them crap and a little bit.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_16]: I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm all for everybody.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_16]: And then she sort of just started kissing, not to trouble.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_16]: Now she's a total trumps like, like, Charlie Manson in one of his girls.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_16]: You know what I mean?
- 57:40[SPEAKER_16]: She changed her routine from across the aisle to a total Trump.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_13]: Uh-huh.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_16]: Then you catch that?
- 57:50[SPEAKER_16]: With her routine?
- 57:54[SPEAKER_13]: No, I have it, no.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, she knew.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_16]: Well, when she first started to campaign and when she first was ever heard of her, she says, oh, yeah, I can do whatever everybody.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_16]: And all of a sudden, she went like,
- 58:10[SPEAKER_16]: Like, uh, a morning or something to talk.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 58:16[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_13]: Now, anyway, somebody sent me in, uh, something they looked up about residency thing around the state.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_13]: City of Saratoga Springs.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_13]: Got a Senate bill passed home rules.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_13]: The City Attorney Residency requirement may be waived by resolution.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_13]: That ship is way long sailed here.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_13]: City of Albany, it'll always become in Council's Board of Residency to grant one year waivers to the Department had subject to Council confirmation based on specific needs, hardship, or lack of other candidates.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_13]: City of Troy permits the mayor to grant one time position specific waivers of qualified city residents were not found.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we're not going to allow the mayor that kind of power in this town.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_13]: So the issue is not exclusive to here, but there are ways of different ways of dealing with it.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_13]: And it's amazing what a little research I'll do.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
