Mega Edition: The Ghislaine Maxwell Jury Zero's In On The Transcripts (9/17/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:00
Speaker 1: And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. I hope that
0:04
Speaker 1: all of you had a great Christmas break. And I
0:07
Speaker 1: hope that you got to spend the time that you
0:09
Speaker 1: had off, hopefully, with the people who matter the most
0:12
Speaker 1: to you. Me, I was able to do just that.
0:15
Speaker 1: I got to hang out with my amazing girlfriend, my parents,
0:18
Speaker 1: my family. It was a very nice and relaxing time
0:23
Speaker 1: all the way around. But if you folks know me
0:26
Speaker 1: by now, you already know that I was busy at
0:29
Speaker 1: work at the same time. I don't really take days off, folks.
0:34
Speaker 1: And I've been working on a new podcast that's going
0:37
Speaker 1: to be coming out very soon. And this podcast is
0:41
Speaker 1: going to be based on the new HBO show, House
0:46
Speaker 1: of the Dragon. Now... I've been talking about this Game
0:50
Speaker 1: of Thrones podcast for a very long time. For those
0:53
Speaker 1: of you who have been listening to the other Jeffrey
0:55
Speaker 1: Epstein show, you know this. But it's starting to all
0:59
Speaker 1: come into view now. And I've been working on it
1:03
Speaker 1: for quite some time. And I'm really pumped to change
1:06
Speaker 1: paces here and talk about something that's not obviously anywhere
1:11
Speaker 1: near as heavy as the topic we're discussing on a
1:15
Speaker 1: regular basis, meaning Epstein and Maxwell. So this House of
1:20
Speaker 1: the Dragon podcast that I've been working on, it's going
1:23
Speaker 1: to be real fun. We're going to dive into the
1:25
Speaker 1: Targaryens from the very beginning. We're going to talk about
1:28
Speaker 1: a lot of the, shall we say, secondary characters. And
1:33
Speaker 1: we're going to talk about a lot of the issues
1:37
Speaker 1: that we're going to see in the story on HBO.
1:41
Speaker 1: But for those of you who are not familiar with
1:43
Speaker 1: this part of the Game of Thrones lore, if you will, man,
1:48
Speaker 1: you're really going to be in for a treat. It's
1:52
Speaker 1: an absolutely epic time as far as that story goes.
1:57
Speaker 1: And the battle between the Targaryens for supremacy of the
2:01
Speaker 1: Targaryen dynasty is by far one of George R.R. Martin's
2:06
Speaker 1: greatest works. So I'm very excited to dive into that,
2:11
Speaker 1: you know, get to talking about Daemon Targaryen and the
2:13
Speaker 1: rest of them. And really, you know, Jump into a
2:17
Speaker 1: topic that is nowhere near as heavy as what we've
2:21
Speaker 1: been discussing now for three years. Obviously, I also have
2:25
Speaker 1: my Beyond the Horizon podcast. And over there, we're going
2:29
Speaker 1: to continue to be talking about the news and, you know,
2:32
Speaker 1: daily strife in the world and all of that stuff
2:35
Speaker 1: as well. But I'm pumped up about this Game of
2:39
Speaker 1: Thrones podcast that I'm getting ready to launch this And
2:42
Speaker 1: I think a lot of you out there who listen
2:45
Speaker 1: to this podcast will really like that as well. Considering
2:49
Speaker 1: I know a ton of you have sent me emails
2:51
Speaker 1: about Game of Thrones. So get ready for that. It's
2:56
Speaker 1: coming up within the next month or so. I'll have
2:59
Speaker 1: a lot more information about the actual release. But the
3:03
Speaker 1: plan is to release like four or five episodes right away.
3:07
Speaker 1: So that we're off and running and ready to go.
3:11
Speaker 1: So that's what I have planned coming up for the
3:13
Speaker 1: new year for you folks. And a couple of other
3:16
Speaker 1: projects as well that I've started to work on with
3:20
Speaker 1: a couple of associates and colleagues that are pretty interesting
3:24
Speaker 1: as well. So plenty of stuff coming up in the
3:27
Speaker 1: new year. And obviously, we still have a lot to
3:31
Speaker 1: unpack as far as Epstein, Maxwell, and their associates. So
3:37
Speaker 1: we're not going to just forget about these people either.
3:41
Speaker 1: This discussion is going to continue. These people need to
3:45
Speaker 1: be brought to account. They need to be held to account.
3:47
Speaker 1: And they certainly need to be brought to justice. So today, hopefully,
3:53
Speaker 1: we get a step in that direction, right? The jury
3:58
Speaker 1: is deliberating now for another full day. And I would
4:03
Speaker 1: think that we're getting close to verdict time, folks. So
4:07
Speaker 1: with that said, Why don't we dive into today's topic
4:12
Speaker 1: and discuss what's going on as we speak in the
4:16
Speaker 1: courtroom as the jury deliberates. Now, Ghislaine Maxwell got to
4:24
Speaker 1: spend her 60th birthday in jail on Christmas Day. And I,
4:29
Speaker 1: for one, am not even upset about it. This lady,
4:34
Speaker 1: if anybody, has ever deserved to spend their birthday in jail.
4:38
Speaker 1: If anybody who has ever earned whatever kind of disgusting
4:43
Speaker 1: Christmas dinner they serve up at jail, it is Ghislaine Maxwell,
4:47
Speaker 1: in my opinion. This lady is reprehensible. Her whole entire
4:52
Speaker 1: character is gross and disgusting. And if you believe what
4:58
Speaker 1: these accusers say, and if you believe what the prosecutors say,
5:02
Speaker 1: and I do, She's a lot worse than even that.
5:08
Speaker 1: So we've been through three weeks now of trial. We've
5:10
Speaker 1: had testimony. We've had witness statements. We've had closing arguments.
5:17
Speaker 1: And now we just wait for the jury to deliberate.
5:22
Speaker 1: So my guess is, and again, this is just a guess,
5:26
Speaker 1: that we'll get close to a verdict very, very soon.
5:29
Speaker 1: Maybe even today. You know, the jury's coming back. They
5:33
Speaker 1: got some full bellies, hung out with their families, rested
5:37
Speaker 1: and recharged and ready to go, you would think. So
5:40
Speaker 1: my guess is that today or tomorrow will be verdict time.
5:46
Speaker 1: And I'm certainly on verdict watch all day today. I
5:49
Speaker 1: was going to go out for a little while today
5:51
Speaker 1: and head up to the mountains, do some climbing, but
5:54
Speaker 1: I've decided to stick close to home because I have
5:57
Speaker 1: a gut feeling that we might get some movement here.
6:00
Speaker 1: So let's... We have to wait, obviously. We don't know
6:04
Speaker 1: for sure what's going to happen, but it's just one
6:07
Speaker 1: of those gut feelings. And I think that after having
6:11
Speaker 1: their little vacation here, their little three-day break, four-day break
6:15
Speaker 1: that the jury had, that they're going to be motivated
6:20
Speaker 1: to get things moving in the proper direction here and
6:24
Speaker 1: get this show on the road. Now, Trying to read
6:28
Speaker 1: the tea leaves about what the jury thinks or what
6:30
Speaker 1: they're up to, that's way above my pay grade. I
6:33
Speaker 1: have no idea as far as making an educated guess
6:38
Speaker 1: or an assumption about what they're up to. I really
6:40
Speaker 1: don't know, folks. Like I've said, I never really followed
6:44
Speaker 1: court cases like this before. This is all new to me.
6:47
Speaker 1: I'm certainly not a court reporter or somebody who's interested
6:52
Speaker 1: in the nuance of what goes on in the courtroom
6:55
Speaker 1: for the most part. But when it comes to this case, obviously,
7:01
Speaker 1: we're locked in. So I would think that, and again,
7:06
Speaker 1: just my gut, that we're going to see a verdict
7:08
Speaker 1: either today or tomorrow. So getting down to it, folks.
7:14
Speaker 1: Verdict watch is certainly on. And Ghislaine Maxwell is looking
7:18
Speaker 1: like she's going to find out her fate very, very soon.
7:22
Speaker 1: With that said, let's jump into an article. From CNN,
7:28
Speaker 1: and let's get us prepared for the day. Headline, Jurors
7:32
Speaker 1: in Ghislaine Maxwell's Sex Trafficking Trial Return to Resume Deliberations.
7:38
Speaker 1: Authored by Lauren Davalli and Eric Levinson over at CNN.
7:43
Speaker 1: And surprisingly enough, CNN has done a pretty good job
7:47
Speaker 1: on the day-to-day coverage of this as far as, you know,
7:50
Speaker 1: updates on the deliberation process and where things are at
7:54
Speaker 1: throughout the day. CNN has actually done a pretty damn
7:57
Speaker 1: good job. And I'm surprised by that because they're usually
8:01
Speaker 1: wrapped up in, you know, the finer points of political tribalism.
8:05
Speaker 1: So they don't have the time to report on stories
8:08
Speaker 1: such as this in the proper manner. But this time around,
8:12
Speaker 1: looks like they're actually giving it a little bit of
8:14
Speaker 1: attention and pretty shocking, honestly, coming from CNN. All right,
8:20
Speaker 1: so let's see. After taking a long weekend for the
8:24
Speaker 1: Christmas holiday, jurors in Ghislaine Maxwell's federal sex trafficking trial
8:29
Speaker 1: are set to resume deliberations Monday morning in New York. Maxwell,
8:34
Speaker 1: the former girlfriend, co-conspirator, general all-around scuzzbag fellow child abuser,
8:39
Speaker 1: you mean, and longtime associate of the late sex offender,
8:43
Speaker 1: pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, has pleaded not guilty to six federal counts.
8:48
Speaker 1: Sex trafficking of a minor, enticing a minor to travel
8:52
Speaker 1: to engage in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor with
8:55
Speaker 1: the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and three
8:59
Speaker 1: related counts of conspiracy. If convicted on all six counts,
9:04
Speaker 1: Maxwell faces up to 70 years in prison. It's about
9:08
Speaker 1: 170 years too short... Even if she gets convicted in
9:10
Speaker 1: my opinion... Look... These are the kind of charges... These
9:14
Speaker 1: are the kind of crimes... Crimes against children... Crimes against
9:17
Speaker 1: the most vulnerable... That I think should have the heaviest
9:20
Speaker 1: of penalties... There should be no wiggling off the hook...
9:24
Speaker 1: When you're abusing the most vulnerable amongst us... If you're
9:27
Speaker 1: abusing children... No kind of deal... No kind of plea... Nothing...
9:34
Speaker 1: Directly underneath the prison... after your trial, after your conviction,
9:39
Speaker 1: and you never see the light of day again, because
9:42
Speaker 1: you can't be rehabilitated. There's no fixing you. If you're
9:45
Speaker 1: somebody like Jeffrey Epstein, if you're somebody like Glenn Maxwell,
9:49
Speaker 1: you were born fucked up, okay? You're a lemon. You
9:53
Speaker 1: came off the line screwed up, and there is no
9:57
Speaker 1: fixing that. So I don't even know why we were
10:00
Speaker 1: bother wasting resources with people like this, convict them and
10:03
Speaker 1: put them underneath the prison and forget about them. Jurors
10:10
Speaker 1: deliberated for about an hour on Monday and then all
10:13
Speaker 1: of Tuesday and Wednesday. At the end of Wednesday's deliberations,
10:17
Speaker 1: the judge asked if they would consider returning Thursday, but
10:20
Speaker 1: they declined. You know, the jurors were like, look, I
10:22
Speaker 1: got a prime rib to cook. I got all kinds
10:25
Speaker 1: of fixings to make. I got family coming over. I
10:28
Speaker 1: can't be sitting around here in this courtroom dicking around
10:30
Speaker 1: with you during my Christmas holiday. It's basically what the
10:33
Speaker 1: jurors told the judge. And you know what? The more
10:37
Speaker 1: I think about it, the more I don't blame them.
10:40
Speaker 1: If they wanted them to work through the holiday, they
10:43
Speaker 1: should have stipulated that. Hey, look, you're going to have
10:44
Speaker 1: to work through the holiday. Maybe that wasn't stipulated. These
10:47
Speaker 1: people made plans or whatever with their families. And, you know,
10:51
Speaker 1: it ended up being what it was really comes down
10:54
Speaker 1: to once again, the shitty timing of this trial in
10:58
Speaker 1: the first place. Why set it up right around the holidays?
11:01
Speaker 1: What's the point in doing that? Why not set it
11:03
Speaker 1: up for January 2nd at this point? Nah, you guys
11:06
Speaker 1: have to set it up for November 29th, right after Thanksgiving,
11:10
Speaker 1: and right before Christmas? Yeah, great idea. During deliberations, the
11:17
Speaker 1: jury asked the court a series of questions related to
11:20
Speaker 1: testimony from the women whose claims formed the core of
11:26
Speaker 1: the case against Maxwell. First, jurors asked the judge for
11:30
Speaker 1: the transcripts of testimony from Annie Farmer, Carolyn, and Jane.
11:35
Speaker 1: three of the four women who testified that they were
11:37
Speaker 1: sexually abused by Epstein and that Maxwell facilitated and sometimes
11:42
Speaker 1: participated in the abuse. So the jurors are trying to,
11:45
Speaker 1: you know, get all the stories straight, right? They want
11:48
Speaker 1: to make sure that they have all of the pertinent
11:50
Speaker 1: information so that they come up with the right decision,
11:54
Speaker 1: at least the best decision that they're capable of coming
11:57
Speaker 1: up with. So I know that there was a lot
11:59
Speaker 1: of reading of the tea leaves when it came to
12:01
Speaker 1: these juror notes and all of that stuff. But again,
12:05
Speaker 1: I'm not hip enough when it comes to these kinds
12:11
Speaker 1: of backroom deals to really dive in and speculate and
12:15
Speaker 1: act like I have an idea what I'm talking about.
12:17
Speaker 1: That's why I read the article from Adam Klasfeld, somebody
12:20
Speaker 1: who actually does know what he's talking about when it
12:23
Speaker 1: comes to this sort of thing. So you know that
12:27
Speaker 1: there's a motivation and reasoning behind the jury asking for
12:33
Speaker 1: this stuff. It's just trying to figure out exactly what
12:36
Speaker 1: they're up to. That's the hard part, right? And you
12:40
Speaker 1: would think that the jury, especially considering them not taking
12:47
Speaker 1: the judge up on the chance to deliberate on Thursday...
12:52
Speaker 1: you would think that they're going to take their time
12:54
Speaker 1: with this and go through it with a fine-tooth comb.
12:57
Speaker 1: And to be honest with you, I think that's a
12:59
Speaker 1: good-ass idea. Anytime there's a jury and they're looking at
13:03
Speaker 1: evidence in a case, they should be deliberate. They should
13:06
Speaker 1: take their time. Jurors also asked for FBI notes from
13:14
Speaker 1: a 2007 interview with Carolyn that the defense has said
13:20
Speaker 1: is inconsistent with her testimony in court. The FBI notes
13:23
Speaker 1: are not in evidence, but some excerpts were read into
13:27
Speaker 1: the record during her cross-examination. So again, back to that, right?
13:32
Speaker 1: Little recap. The FBI notes, the 302 proffers, they're not evidence.
13:39
Speaker 1: So they weren't, um... put in as evidence, right? So
13:43
Speaker 1: they couldn't obviously be drawn upon by the jurors to
13:47
Speaker 1: look at. But some of the excerpts that were read
13:52
Speaker 1: into the record, well, that is evidence now. So they
13:54
Speaker 1: can go back and look at that if they want. Further,
13:59
Speaker 1: the jury asked whether it can consider Farmer's testimony for
14:02
Speaker 1: two of the conspiracy counts. Jurors may do so, Judge
14:05
Speaker 1: Allison Nathan said. So that was a big deal in
14:07
Speaker 1: my opinion as well, because what it shows is that
14:11
Speaker 1: the jurors can look at the transportation issue here. Transporting
14:15
Speaker 1: Annie for sexual purposes, for the purposes of being trafficked.
14:21
Speaker 1: And that gives the prosecutors another route for conviction here.
14:26
Speaker 1: The deliberations cap a three-week trial highlighted by testimony from
14:30
Speaker 1: four women who said Maxwell recruited and groomed them to
14:33
Speaker 1: be sexually abused by Epstein. The abuse allegedly began when
14:38
Speaker 1: they were younger than 18, and their accusations stretched from
14:41
Speaker 1: 1994 to 2004. And we all know that it's a
14:45
Speaker 1: lot longer than that. We all know, and I'm going
14:48
Speaker 1: to keep driving that point home in case there's new
14:50
Speaker 1: listeners or people who might have forgot, okay? A lot
14:54
Speaker 1: longer than the 10-year period, folks. Jeffrey Epstein, according to reports,
14:58
Speaker 1: was active all the way up until his second arrest.
15:02
Speaker 1: So put that in your pipe and smoke it for
15:04
Speaker 1: a little while. And the most terrifying thing of all
15:09
Speaker 1: of this is Jeffrey Epstein was just the tip of
15:12
Speaker 1: the iceberg. How many more Jeffrey Epsteins and Ghislaine Maxwells
15:16
Speaker 1: are still out there? Epstein, an elusive financier who pleaded
15:27
Speaker 1: guilty in 2008 to state prostitution charges, was indicted on
15:32
Speaker 1: federal sex trafficking charges in July 2019. He died by suicide, allegedly,
15:38
Speaker 1: in prison, jail, a month later. Maxwell, now 60, was
15:42
Speaker 1: arrested in 2020 and has been held behind bars since
15:47
Speaker 1: under close watch. So remember, Jeffrey Epstein wasn't in prison
15:51
Speaker 1: when he died, okay? He was in jail, in lockup,
15:55
Speaker 1: and obviously it's a different minor issue, but it wasn't prison,
15:59
Speaker 1: it was jail. And they say that he committed suicide
16:04
Speaker 1: in there. I say allegedly because at the end of
16:07
Speaker 1: the day, we don't know. We have no information about
16:10
Speaker 1: what happened in that jail cell. They have not been
16:13
Speaker 1: very transparent at all. And the people that act like
16:16
Speaker 1: they know for sure one way or the other what
16:19
Speaker 1: went on in that jail cell, I would be very,
16:21
Speaker 1: very cautious of the things they have to say to you.
16:24
Speaker 1: Because guess what? None of us know. What happened at
16:29
Speaker 1: the trial? The prosecutor's case against Maxwell rested primarily on
16:33
Speaker 1: four women with personal stories of her role facilitating Epstein's abuse. Jane,
16:39
Speaker 1: testifying under a pseudonym, said Maxwell organized sexual massages with
16:43
Speaker 1: Epstein and sometimes joined in the abuse. The charges of
16:47
Speaker 1: enticing and transporting relate to testimony solely from her. So
16:53
Speaker 1: each one of these girls had a story to tell, right?
16:55
Speaker 1: Each one of these ladies, now I should say, had
16:58
Speaker 1: their own story to tell about the abuse that they
17:00
Speaker 1: suffered at the hands of Maxwell and at Epstein. And
17:06
Speaker 1: it was very powerful, the testimony that they brought forward. Obviously,
17:11
Speaker 1: it comes down to credibility. Do you believe their story
17:14
Speaker 1: or don't you? Do you believe that Maxwell's team did
17:17
Speaker 1: a good enough job to punch holes in their credibility?
17:20
Speaker 1: That's really what it comes down to, right? For me,
17:22
Speaker 1: I don't see the defense as doing a good enough
17:27
Speaker 1: job with that. A good enough job to make me say, ah, yeah, wow,
17:31
Speaker 1: I've had this all wrong. This is nothing but a
17:33
Speaker 1: money grab. I have not seen anything at all that
17:38
Speaker 1: points me in that direction. All I see is a
17:40
Speaker 1: bunch of guilty ass so-called elite who are still being
17:44
Speaker 1: protected by the system, by their friends. Carolyn testified that
17:55
Speaker 1: when she was 14, Maxwell touched her breasts, hips, and
17:58
Speaker 1: butt and told her she had a great body for
18:01
Speaker 1: Epstein and his friends. The child sex trafficking count, the
18:05
Speaker 1: most serious of all the charges, relates to her testimony.
18:08
Speaker 1: And think about that for a minute. That is a
18:12
Speaker 1: very strong and very powerful charge. But it's only the one.
18:18
Speaker 1: When we know that there were so many more. And
18:22
Speaker 1: it just sticks in my craw, folks. It makes me
18:25
Speaker 1: want to vomit, honestly. Definitely not digestible. That's for damn sure.
18:29
Speaker 1: I can't digest the fact that these people got away
18:32
Speaker 1: with this for this long. And how many times do
18:34
Speaker 1: we have to hear about Epstein and his friends? But
18:37
Speaker 1: none of his friends are ever brought up on charges.
18:39
Speaker 1: None of his friends are ever caught up in this.
18:43
Speaker 1: Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Now flip the script. What
18:46
Speaker 1: if it was you or your friends and you were
18:49
Speaker 1: engaged in some kind of criminal conspiracy? You think that
18:52
Speaker 1: you would have been able to get away for it
18:53
Speaker 1: for decades? I highly doubt it. Kay testified Maxwell invited
19:02
Speaker 1: her over and directed her how to give Epstein a
19:04
Speaker 1: sexual massage. She said Maxwell spoke often of sexual topics
19:08
Speaker 1: with her and asked Kay to invite other young girls
19:11
Speaker 1: for Epstein's sexual desires. So it shows you right there
19:16
Speaker 1: what Maxwell was up to, grooming, trying to get these
19:18
Speaker 1: girls to get other girls involved. And then what Maxwell
19:21
Speaker 1: would say is, well, I didn't recruit these girls. The
19:23
Speaker 1: other girl did. I had nothing to do with it.
19:26
Speaker 1: And it's so transparent to me. The fact that they
19:29
Speaker 1: were engaging in this is so transparent. And then to
19:32
Speaker 1: have the audacity, the balls to try and call Virginia
19:36
Speaker 1: a trafficker. I take great umbrage to that. Great umbrage
19:40
Speaker 1: to that. Virginia was a little girl who was groomed.
19:44
Speaker 1: A little girl who was brought into the clutches of
19:47
Speaker 1: these scumbags. And then Maxwell and Epstein. not only abuse her,
19:52
Speaker 1: but then have the audacity to try and pin the
19:54
Speaker 1: whole thing on people like her. Oh, she was the
19:56
Speaker 1: one who was bringing other girls. You fucking break, man. Farmer,
20:03
Speaker 1: the only accuser to testify by her full name, testified
20:06
Speaker 1: that she was 16 when Maxwell massaged her naked chest
20:09
Speaker 1: at Epstein's New Mexico ranch in 1996. Prosecutors sought to
20:15
Speaker 1: closely link Maxwell and Epstein and said her actions normalizing
20:18
Speaker 1: sexual massages were crucial to his international abuse scheme at
20:22
Speaker 1: his properties in New York, Florida, New Mexico, and the U.S.
20:25
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands. A single, middle-aged man who invites a teenage
20:29
Speaker 1: girl to visit this ranch is to come to his
20:32
Speaker 1: house to fly to New York is creepy, Prosecutor Allison
20:36
Speaker 1: Moe said in closing arguments. But when that man is
20:39
Speaker 1: accompanied by a posh, smiling, respectable, age-appropriate woman, then that's
20:45
Speaker 1: when everything seems to be legitimate. And I agree. I mean,
20:50
Speaker 1: it definitely helps normalize things to have someone like Ghislaine
20:53
Speaker 1: Maxwell show up as opposed to just egg dick himself.
20:57
Speaker 1: Imagine you're some little girl and you show up and
20:59
Speaker 1: Egg Dick Epstein's there in his stupid ass mom jeans
21:02
Speaker 1: wearing a pair of New Balance or whatever the hell
21:05
Speaker 1: he's wearing on his feet that day. Goofy pair of slippers.
21:09
Speaker 1: No wonder you need Maxwell there to help soften the blow.
21:12
Speaker 1: Literally showing up and fucking Nosferatu's waiting for you. So
21:18
Speaker 1: miss me when all of the Galane had no idea
21:21
Speaker 1: what was going on shit. I'm so tired of it.
21:28
Speaker 1: And when that woman encourages those girls to massage that man,
21:32
Speaker 1: and then she acts like it's totally normal for the
21:34
Speaker 1: man to touch those girls, it lures them into a trap.
21:37
Speaker 1: It allows the man to silence the alarm bells. The defense, meanwhile,
21:43
Speaker 1: focused its case on lengthy cross-examinations of the four accusers
21:47
Speaker 1: and detect their motivations and memories of the alleged incidents.
21:51
Speaker 1: Maxwell declined to testify in her own defense. Yeah, no shit.
21:54
Speaker 1: Talk about getting goosed. She would show up on that
21:57
Speaker 1: stand and it would be a wrap. For those of
22:00
Speaker 1: you who are familiar with the author Joe Abercrombie and
22:04
Speaker 1: his works... I would have Sandan Glockta, Old Sticks himself,
22:10
Speaker 1: do this interrogation. Because let me tell you what, Ghislaine
22:13
Speaker 1: Maxwell is not built for this life. I've said it
22:16
Speaker 1: from Jump Street. You put her in a room with
22:18
Speaker 1: a real investigator, a real interrogator... And she's looking at 150,
22:22
Speaker 1: 200 years... and the federal government really has motivation to
22:28
Speaker 1: go after people, Maxwell would be singing like a little bird.
22:32
Speaker 1: Canary City, baby. But the government doesn't have the backbone
22:36
Speaker 1: for it. The government doesn't want to go after all
22:38
Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein's friends. They'd rather let them run around
22:41
Speaker 1: and continue on their path of deviant behavior. In closing arguments...
22:50
Speaker 1: Attorney Laura Menninger sought to distance Maxwell from Epstein and
22:54
Speaker 1: suggested he had manipulated her as well. She said the
22:57
Speaker 1: prosecution's case is based on speculation and distracting photos of
23:01
Speaker 1: Maxwell with Epstein, including several that show her giving him
23:05
Speaker 1: a foot massage. She's being tried here for being with
23:08
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, and maybe that was the biggest mistake of
23:11
Speaker 1: her life. But it was not a crime, Menninger told
23:14
Speaker 1: the jury. No, not at all. No crimes were committed here.
23:18
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, upstanding citizen, folks, you guys got it all wrong.
23:22
Speaker 1: We've been missing the boat the whole time. Maxwell is
23:25
Speaker 1: just obviously another victim of Jeffrey Epstein's. She's not educated.
23:29
Speaker 1: She's not smart. She's not somebody that knows what's what.
23:34
Speaker 1: I mean, really, is that really what you want us
23:36
Speaker 1: to believe, Laura Menninger? Because nobody's buying that shit. Stop
23:41
Speaker 1: regifting us the same kind of nonsense we hear in
23:44
Speaker 1: every other case. It's bullshit. It's garbage. And honestly, it
23:49
Speaker 1: falls on deaf ears with most people. Now, that doesn't
23:54
Speaker 1: really mean anything at the end of the day, though,
23:56
Speaker 1: does it? What we think, what anybody else thinks. All
23:59
Speaker 1: that matters is what that jury thinks and what decision
24:03
Speaker 1: they come up with in the next few days. So,
24:08
Speaker 1: we'll be here, continuing to wait for the verdict, following
24:12
Speaker 1: what occurs. on a daily basis as far as inside
24:16
Speaker 1: of this courtroom. And when that verdict is announced, I
24:20
Speaker 1: will be here to talk about it with all of you.
24:24
Speaker 1: So with that said, folks, we're going to wrap up
24:26
Speaker 1: this morning's edition and get prepared for the day. So
24:30
Speaker 1: I hope that all of you have a great day
24:32
Speaker 1: out there. And yeah, I'll be back later on for sure.
24:36
Speaker 1: And we will pick this up where we left off.
24:38
Speaker 1: So throughout the day, obviously, more context episodes coming your
24:42
Speaker 1: way and all of that other good stuff that you've
24:47
Speaker 1: come to expect. All right, everybody, I will talk to
24:50
Speaker 1: you all later. If you'd like to contact me, you
24:53
Speaker 1: can do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com.
25:02
Speaker 1: You can also find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I.
25:10
Speaker 1: The link that we discussed can be found in the
25:12
Speaker 1: description box. Maxwell continues to rack up the L's. Not
25:19
Speaker 1: only was she unsuccessful in trying to get the sealed
25:23
Speaker 1: documents to remain that way, not only was she unsuccessful
25:28
Speaker 1: in trying to get bail, well now... The court is
25:32
Speaker 1: telling her and her law team that they better not
25:36
Speaker 1: ID survivors in this case. So you could just tag
25:41
Speaker 1: that on as another L for Ghislaine Maxwell and the
25:47
Speaker 1: shitbirds that run with her. And it's glorious to see,
25:51
Speaker 1: isn't it? For so long, the shoe was on the
25:53
Speaker 1: other foot. For so long, the rulings were going the
25:57
Speaker 1: other way. But now, as things start to progress... And
26:03
Speaker 1: as the real story begins to come to light and
26:06
Speaker 1: more people are made aware of what's going on, I
26:09
Speaker 1: am telling you, folks, these floodgates most assuredly are going
26:15
Speaker 1: to open. Now, Ghislaine Maxwell, we all knew what she was, right?
26:21
Speaker 1: Everybody following this case, all of us sleuthing around, we
26:25
Speaker 1: all knew exactly what she was. And that's why I
26:28
Speaker 1: never shied away from calling her that here on this podcast.
26:31
Speaker 1: or correcting articles when they called her a socialite, or
26:35
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's girlfriend. Because we all knew just exactly what
26:40
Speaker 1: kind of monster we were dealing with, even if the
26:44
Speaker 1: legacy media refused to do their job, refused to make
26:50
Speaker 1: the general population aware of what occurred. Well now, that
26:55
Speaker 1: shit's all out of the bag, boys and girls. I
26:58
Speaker 1: can't tell you how many messages I woke up to
27:00
Speaker 1: from friends of mine, who have just a basic knowledge
27:04
Speaker 1: of what's going on in this case, woke up to
27:06
Speaker 1: emails and inquiries and questions about the inner workings of
27:10
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's inner circle now. People are getting interested. And
27:15
Speaker 1: that's because of all of you out there, all of
27:18
Speaker 1: the posts, the non-stop putting it in people's faces and
27:23
Speaker 1: making them be aware of what occurred. So I think
27:27
Speaker 1: that we're making some serious headway when it comes to
27:31
Speaker 1: making this a mainstream issue. And at the end of
27:34
Speaker 1: the day, folks, when I first started this podcast all
27:37
Speaker 1: the way back in last August and really got busy
27:40
Speaker 1: in October, that's all I wanted to do was make
27:45
Speaker 1: people aware of what occurred. and then let them make
27:48
Speaker 1: their own decisions, come to their own conclusions, when they
27:51
Speaker 1: have all of the evidence presented to them. Not just
27:54
Speaker 1: bits and pieces, not a piece from this smear merchant
27:58
Speaker 1: to try and smear that person, or that person smearing
28:01
Speaker 1: this person. I try to keep this podcast grounded in
28:04
Speaker 1: as much reality as possible. And like I always say
28:08
Speaker 1: with this case, I don't think we need to add
28:11
Speaker 1: on salacious nonsense, right? There's plenty of it right here,
28:15
Speaker 1: The facts that hit you right in the face, there
28:17
Speaker 1: is plenty of that right here. And I think it's
28:21
Speaker 1: important that we try and stay focused on the actual
28:24
Speaker 1: perpetrators that were involved in the leadership roles and in
28:30
Speaker 1: the abuse of these girls. I think that's where we
28:32
Speaker 1: start and we let the investigation bloom from there, right?
28:36
Speaker 1: Because these enablers, no matter how much you try and
28:39
Speaker 1: stick it to them, no matter how much you try
28:42
Speaker 1: and say that they were abusing girls, if nobody comes
28:45
Speaker 1: forward and says that Bill Clinton was abusing girls on
28:47
Speaker 1: that island, well, we have him there. We have him
28:53
Speaker 1: involved as in being around when these orgies were occurring.
28:57
Speaker 1: But you can't stick him as somebody who took part
29:01
Speaker 1: in the abusing of the girls from the evidence we
29:03
Speaker 1: have so far, right? Of course not. But... We can
29:08
Speaker 1: get them when it comes to the financials. And I
29:11
Speaker 1: think that that is an overlooked part of this case.
29:14
Speaker 1: I think that these enablers, that's what they're truly worried about.
29:17
Speaker 1: Besides the people that have been named by Virginia or
29:20
Speaker 1: the other survivors as partaking in the abuse, I think
29:24
Speaker 1: these enablers all understand that these financial ties, well, they're
29:28
Speaker 1: ties that bind. And when you're caught up in financials
29:32
Speaker 1: the way these people are, there is no wiggling their
29:35
Speaker 1: way off the hook. So that's what I try and
29:38
Speaker 1: focus on here. I try and keep the focus. on
29:40
Speaker 1: the people who were named as abusers of Virginia, people
29:44
Speaker 1: who have played an intricate and important role in building
29:49
Speaker 1: the enterprise and going after those people with laser-like focus. Now,
29:56
Speaker 1: once this blooms a little bit more, Well, people are
30:00
Speaker 1: going to start to understand that this was not just
30:03
Speaker 1: some sort of child sex trafficking ring, right? The unsullied
30:07
Speaker 1: will start to understand that this was also a blackmail
30:12
Speaker 1: ring run by some of the most powerful people in
30:15
Speaker 1: the intelligence world. And as you all know, I am
30:18
Speaker 1: not one of these. I think it's the Mossad. I
30:21
Speaker 1: don't believe that. Now, I believe the Mossad, they were
30:24
Speaker 1: running the operation as far as the assets on the ground.
30:28
Speaker 1: But I... If anyone thinks that the CIA didn't have
30:31
Speaker 1: their fingerprints all over it, didn't give them the nod
30:34
Speaker 1: of approval and offer some sort of logistical support for
30:37
Speaker 1: this honey trap, well, I think that's a naive point
30:41
Speaker 1: of view because as powerful as the Mossad is in
30:44
Speaker 1: their sphere, there is nobody as powerful or as devious
30:50
Speaker 1: as the CIA of the United States of America. And
30:54
Speaker 1: as this all comes to light, it's going to be
30:56
Speaker 1: a hard pill for a lot of people to swallow.
30:59
Speaker 1: But if we lay the case out correctly and we
31:02
Speaker 1: build the bridges, well, if we build it, they will come.
31:09
Speaker 1: And I think it's a process where you have to
31:13
Speaker 1: lay out all of the facts for people and then
31:16
Speaker 1: let them come to that conclusion on their own. I
31:19
Speaker 1: think that the facts are pretty clear, what we're dealing
31:22
Speaker 1: with here. And I think that anybody who comes into
31:25
Speaker 1: this case with an open mind and takes a look
31:28
Speaker 1: at all of the factors surrounding it, well, they have
31:31
Speaker 1: no choice but to come to the conclusion that this
31:35
Speaker 1: was a huge, large, gigantic operation that spanned continents and
31:42
Speaker 1: it involved some of the most powerful people in the
31:45
Speaker 1: whole entire world. I don't think that there's any denying
31:51
Speaker 1: that at this point. So we're going to continue to
31:54
Speaker 1: build those tracks. We're going to continue to lay those
31:57
Speaker 1: rail lines. And eventually we're going to get connected from
32:01
Speaker 1: point A to point B and everything is going to
32:05
Speaker 1: fall directly into focus. All right. So we were talking
32:11
Speaker 1: a little bit about Ghislaine Maxwell racking up the L's.
32:14
Speaker 1: So that's what our article is about today. Our article
32:17
Speaker 1: is from the USA Today. It was originally run by
32:19
Speaker 1: the Associated Press. The headline, Elaine Maxwell's lawyers warned not
32:24
Speaker 1: to ID child sex abuse survivors, as if they should
32:28
Speaker 1: even be needed to be warned about that. It shows
32:31
Speaker 1: you the sort of tactics that they plan on using,
32:34
Speaker 1: and it's not unexpected, right? You know they're going to
32:36
Speaker 1: go to the mattresses. you know that they're going to
32:39
Speaker 1: fight dirty. They're going to do anything in their power
32:42
Speaker 1: to try and throw shade and to try and make
32:44
Speaker 1: it look like these girls are lying. That's their job.
32:48
Speaker 1: And it's up to the prosecutors and the judge to
32:51
Speaker 1: make sure that that's all done within the parameters of
32:54
Speaker 1: the law. And that is what we're seeing right here
32:56
Speaker 1: and right now with this ruling. The judge presiding over
33:01
Speaker 1: the criminal case against a British socialite, still a British socialite.
33:04
Speaker 1: Didn't I just get done talking about how she is
33:07
Speaker 1: not a British socialite? They still are calling her that.
33:10
Speaker 1: They're still scared to call her what she is. A
33:12
Speaker 1: child molester. A child abuser. A sick ass. A disgusting scumbag.
33:19
Speaker 1: A bipedal serpent. Somebody that deserves jail for the rest
33:22
Speaker 1: of her life. Bologna sandwiches and hard bread that break
33:26
Speaker 1: her gross ass veneers. How about that for a label?
33:32
Speaker 1: charged with recruiting teenage girls for financier. Oh, and that's
33:36
Speaker 1: what Epstein is, a financier. AP, you sure are hitting
33:39
Speaker 1: it out of the park here. How about child molester, pedophile,
33:45
Speaker 1: money launderer, abuser, and all around draconian sick bastard. I
33:51
Speaker 1: think that's a better label for him. said Friday that
33:53
Speaker 1: her attorneys are not permitted to publicly identify accusers, even
33:58
Speaker 1: if they've spoken in a public forum. This is a
34:01
Speaker 1: huge slapdown for Ghislaine Maxwell, folks. It is huge. And
34:05
Speaker 1: guess what? They had control of the narrative for decades. Decades.
34:10
Speaker 1: And they poisoned people's minds about these survivors. They were
34:13
Speaker 1: able to get away with it. Douchewitz going on every
34:16
Speaker 1: single news station that would have him and running his nonsense,
34:20
Speaker 1: slandering these girls. Well, the worm has turned, the narrative
34:24
Speaker 1: has been snatched, and now, well, now, the predators have
34:30
Speaker 1: become the prey. Not all accusations or public statements are equal. U.S.
34:36
Speaker 1: District Judge Allison J. Nathan wrote in her ruling in
34:39
Speaker 1: the case facing Ghislaine Maxwell, Deciding to participate in or
34:44
Speaker 1: contribute to a criminal investigation or prosecution is a far
34:48
Speaker 1: different matter than simply making a public statement relating to Ms.
34:53
Speaker 1: Maxwell or Jeffrey Epstein, particularly since such a statement might
34:57
Speaker 1: have occurred decades ago and have no relevance to the
35:01
Speaker 1: charges in this case. What they wanted was basically a
35:06
Speaker 1: gag order dropped over all of the survivors, right? They
35:09
Speaker 1: wanted to make it out so the survivors, once again,
35:12
Speaker 1: had to keep quiet. Just like they've had to keep
35:14
Speaker 1: quiet for all of these years. Well, that shit is over.
35:18
Speaker 1: The cat is out of the bag. And you are
35:20
Speaker 1: not hushing anybody anymore, okay? She said the woman still
35:27
Speaker 1: maintained a significant privacy interest that must be safeguarded. Yeah,
35:31
Speaker 1: you think? We're still dealing with some sick and powerful
35:34
Speaker 1: sons of bitches, folks, who are still free. The co-conspirators,
35:38
Speaker 1: the enablers, other people that have stuff to hide. You
35:41
Speaker 1: really think that these girls aren't at risk here? You
35:45
Speaker 1: think that they have nothing on the line by coming
35:48
Speaker 1: out and speaking so bravely about these bipedal serpents? Hell yeah,
35:52
Speaker 1: they have things to worry about. These people are sick, folks.
35:55
Speaker 1: These people are dangerous. Prosecutors had asked Nathan to block
36:00
Speaker 1: Maxwell's lawyer from publicly identifying the women unless they identified
36:05
Speaker 1: themselves as participants in the criminal case. Otherwise, prosecutors said
36:11
Speaker 1: the women may be harassed or intimidated and become reluctant
36:15
Speaker 1: to cooperate with the government. That's not out of the
36:19
Speaker 1: realm of possibility. Just listen to what the survivors have
36:22
Speaker 1: said previously. Listen to what people like Maria Farmer have said.
36:25
Speaker 1: Listen to what Virginia said or Sarah Ransom. or any
36:28
Speaker 1: number of the other survivors. These aren't people that were
36:32
Speaker 1: not dangerous. These weren't people that were afraid to shy
36:36
Speaker 1: away from threats. That was part of their arsenal. That
36:39
Speaker 1: was part of the process. Nathan's order came hours after
36:46
Speaker 1: newly unsealed court documents provided a fresh glimpse into a
36:50
Speaker 1: fierce civil court fight between Maxwell, who was Epstein's former girlfriend, co-conspirator,
36:56
Speaker 1: child molester, all-around scumbag, and one of the women who
37:02
Speaker 1: accused the couple of sexual abuse. The documents released late
37:06
Speaker 1: Thursday were from a now-settled defamation lawsuit filed by one
37:11
Speaker 1: of Epstein's survivors, Virginia Roberts. Roberts claimed in the suit
37:16
Speaker 1: and other litigation that Maxwell recruited her in 2000 to
37:19
Speaker 1: be a sexual servant to Epstein. She said the couple
37:22
Speaker 1: subsequently pressured her into having sex with numerous rich or
37:26
Speaker 1: notable men, including Britain's Prince Andrew, aka the Joe Exotic
37:31
Speaker 1: of the Windsor family, U.S. politicians, wealthy entrepreneurs, a famous scientist,
37:37
Speaker 1: and a fashion designer. Boy, sounds like just the kind
37:41
Speaker 1: of people that scumbag, sick bastard Jeffrey Epstein would be
37:45
Speaker 1: palling around with, doesn't it? And notice how USA Today
37:50
Speaker 1: and the AP shies away from still mentioning the names.
37:53
Speaker 1: You want to talk? Let's talk about some of the names, okay? U.S. politicians.
37:56
Speaker 1: Let's talk about it, okay? George Mitchell, Bill Richardson, Bill Clinton.
38:02
Speaker 1: All right, let's see what's next they got here. Wealthy entrepreneurs.
38:05
Speaker 1: All right, we can give you some of that too
38:06
Speaker 1: since the USA Today won't. Les Wexner, Tom Pritzker, Glenn Dubin,
38:14
Speaker 1: Jess Staley, Leon Black, a famous scientist. Well, Marvin Minsky
38:20
Speaker 1: might fit that bill, huh, folks? And a fashion designer. Well,
38:24
Speaker 1: there's several of those. We'll just run with Les Wexner
38:26
Speaker 1: again just to be safe, huh? Look, folks, the point
38:29
Speaker 1: of the matter is this. The legacy media is still
38:32
Speaker 1: scared to do its job. There's a reason that all
38:36
Speaker 1: of you are listening to me, just your run-of-the-mill moron,
38:39
Speaker 1: reporting on this case. That's because we can't trust the
38:43
Speaker 1: legacy media to shoot us straight. We can't trust them
38:46
Speaker 1: to not be in bed with these bipedal serpents. And
38:49
Speaker 1: that's just the unfortunate fact. Among the newly... Excuse me,
39:00
Speaker 1: Maxwell and all of the accused men have denied those
39:03
Speaker 1: allegations for years. Yeah, of course they have. Have they
39:06
Speaker 1: denied it under oath, though? That's the real question. Anybody
39:10
Speaker 1: can release their canned denials. Oh, have your crisis team
39:13
Speaker 1: write it up. In reality, we all know the score.
39:20
Speaker 1: Among the newly released documents were emails Maxwell and Epstein
39:23
Speaker 1: exchanged in January 2015 when Roberts' allegations were getting a
39:28
Speaker 1: new round of media attention. Now remember, according to Maxwell,
39:32
Speaker 1: in the hearing, she had no contact with Epstein for
39:36
Speaker 1: at least a decade. Well, we know that's bullshit. We
39:39
Speaker 1: know that's a lie. And we know that her law
39:43
Speaker 1: team BS'd us about that, right? And we also know,
39:48
Speaker 1: which is very interesting, in 2015 that Prince Andrew, aka
39:53
Speaker 1: the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, also sent Ghislaine
39:56
Speaker 1: Maxwell an email asking about Virginia. So, seems kind of
40:01
Speaker 1: odd that the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family would
40:03
Speaker 1: have so many questions with his good friend Ghislaine Maxwell
40:07
Speaker 1: about a girl that he supposedly doesn't even remember, huh?
40:11
Speaker 1: See what I mean, folks? They think you're stupid. They
40:14
Speaker 1: truly believe that you are too dumb to put these
40:17
Speaker 1: pieces together. Well, I have news for all of them.
40:20
Speaker 1: They are wrong. One email sent from Epstein's email address
40:26
Speaker 1: but written in Maxwell's voice appeared to be a draft
40:29
Speaker 1: statement or set of talking points for Maxwell to use
40:32
Speaker 1: in defending herself. It said she had been the target
40:35
Speaker 1: of false allegations of impropriety and offensive behavior that I
40:39
Speaker 1: abhor and have never been party to. And these emails
40:44
Speaker 1: are available for you to check out. I've posted the
40:47
Speaker 1: links on my Twitter page. It was obviously Epstein coaching her.
40:52
Speaker 1: We called it out right away when we got those
40:54
Speaker 1: emails last night and I posted them. It was an obvious,
40:57
Speaker 1: obvious Epstein coaching her. But what's more, it proves the conspiracy, folks.
41:01
Speaker 1: This proves the Rico case. Responding to a Maxwell email
41:07
Speaker 1: a few days later, Epstein wrote, You have done nothing wrong,
41:10
Speaker 1: and I would urge you to start acting like it.
41:12
Speaker 1: He suggested she go outside and hold her head high,
41:15
Speaker 1: not as an escaping convict. Yeah, great advice from old Jeffy, huh? Yeah,
41:20
Speaker 1: go out and hold your head up high there, Ghislaine.
41:22
Speaker 1: You did nothing wrong. You only abused a bunch of kids.
41:25
Speaker 1: You dumb, stupid morons. You idiots. You jackanapes. Epstein killed himself, allegedly,
41:34
Speaker 1: last summer while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Maxwell
41:38
Speaker 1: was recently arrested on federal charges that she recruited at
41:41
Speaker 1: least three girls, including one as young as 14, for
41:45
Speaker 1: Epstein to sexually abuse in the 90s. Prosecutors said she
41:50
Speaker 1: also joined in the abuse. Not just prosecutors. Survivors have
41:54
Speaker 1: said that, okay? And guess what? From where we've come
41:59
Speaker 1: to where we are, The circumstantial evidence enough is damning.
42:04
Speaker 1: Now imagine that all of that circumstantial evidence that we
42:08
Speaker 1: have had is being corroborated now by these documents. Funny that.
42:17
Speaker 1: Maxwell is jailed awaiting trial in New York. Many of
42:21
Speaker 1: the documents unsealed by the court Thursday had been available
42:24
Speaker 1: publicly before. Remember, this is what I talked about. For
42:27
Speaker 1: those of us who have been sleuthing around and covering this,
42:29
Speaker 1: we knew that there wasn't going to be anything too
42:32
Speaker 1: explosive in the first round of these dumps, right? It's
42:37
Speaker 1: the deposition that everybody really wants to dig their teeth into.
42:40
Speaker 1: But the fact remains that These are receipts, folks. This
42:44
Speaker 1: is important. And this shows people who might just be
42:47
Speaker 1: getting involved in this case that this is not a
42:50
Speaker 1: conspiracy theory. This is not some bullshit 4chan nonsense BS, okay?
42:57
Speaker 1: This has never been a conspiracy theory. This has always
43:01
Speaker 1: been a cover-up. They included a deposition in which Roberts
43:06
Speaker 1: described the alleged abuse and also answered questions about errors
43:10
Speaker 1: she made previously in telling her story, including originally telling
43:13
Speaker 1: a court she was 15 when she met Epstein when
43:17
Speaker 1: records show she was at least a year older. Roberts,
43:20
Speaker 1: over the years, has told her story to the FBI,
43:23
Speaker 1: but no charges were brought based on her allegations, and
43:26
Speaker 1: she is not one of the three alleged survivors in
43:29
Speaker 1: the current criminal case against Maxwell, and I think that's significant.
43:34
Speaker 1: because that does not mean that she won't be eventually.
43:37
Speaker 1: That just means right now with these hold'em charges that
43:39
Speaker 1: she is not. I think a lot of people get
43:41
Speaker 1: confused with this sort of situation, and I get it.
43:44
Speaker 1: It's confusing as hell, right? If I hadn't been following
43:47
Speaker 1: federal cases for years because of my interest in organized crime,
43:52
Speaker 1: I would be very confused as well. But this is
43:54
Speaker 1: pretty typical in cases like this. As they begin to
43:58
Speaker 1: gain steam, you see things change and you see other
44:01
Speaker 1: charges added. Two documents that were not released as scheduled
44:07
Speaker 1: Thursday were depositions Maxwell gave in the civil lawsuit in 2016. U.S.
44:13
Speaker 1: District Judge Loretta Preska had ordered them released, but Maxwell's
44:16
Speaker 1: lawyers appealed a ruling to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court
44:19
Speaker 1: of Appeals. Her lawyers said they should be blocked because
44:23
Speaker 1: she now faces criminal charges. Well, I don't think that
44:27
Speaker 1: the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals... is going to acquiesce
44:30
Speaker 1: to that request. Am I going to make a prediction
44:33
Speaker 1: one way or the other? No, because at the end
44:35
Speaker 1: of the day, it is still the federal government we're
44:37
Speaker 1: dealing with, and we know that they're a bunch of
44:39
Speaker 1: ninnies for the most part. So I'm not going to
44:42
Speaker 1: make a prediction one way or the other, but what
44:44
Speaker 1: I will say, as I stated last night, when a
44:47
Speaker 1: court sets precedent in their very courtroom, it is rare
44:51
Speaker 1: that they go against their own rulings. But this is
44:54
Speaker 1: one of those cases that's odd, right? This is something
44:57
Speaker 1: that we're not used to dealing with. These concurrent criminal
45:01
Speaker 1: suit and the civil suit running at the same time,
45:03
Speaker 1: it's definitely a bit odd, right? Something that's not common.
45:08
Speaker 1: So it's up to the prosecutors to do the right thing.
45:12
Speaker 1: It's up to the prosecutors to make sure that they
45:16
Speaker 1: have all of their I's dotted and their T's crossed,
45:19
Speaker 1: their ducks in a row, and that they are ready
45:21
Speaker 1: to bite down on their mouthpiece and go to war
45:24
Speaker 1: with these people. Because at the end of the day, folks,
45:29
Speaker 1: when all is said and done and the dust clears,
45:33
Speaker 1: one thing is for sure. The worm has most certainly
45:40
Speaker 1: turned and the predators have become the prey. If you'd
