- 0:00Hi everyone. Welcome to Mini Scroll, the
- 0:03daily Internet culture podcast bringing you the biggest stories
- 0:07from social media, the creator economy and the digital space.
- 0:10Every Monday through Thursday and sometimes Fridays.
- 0:13I'm your host, Lauren Meisner, the founder of the youth digital
- 0:17media brand Centennial World. Welcome back to Mini Scroll,
- 0:21everyone. OK, I have kind of a crazy
- 0:25episode. We need to just get straight
- 0:28into it. But as always, Please remember
- 0:30to rate, review and subscribe. Please Spotify star rate US.
- 0:34It helps us so much. It helps us grow and sign up to
- 0:37our Patreon if you want behind the scenes more parasocial
- 0:40content. All right, the first story that
- 0:44I have for you guys today is Trisha Paytas is saying that she
- 0:48plans to run for Congress. So in two separate pieces of
- 0:52content this week, Tricia has said that she is hoping to run
- 0:55for the US House of Representatives seat in
- 0:57California 2026. She first mentioned it on
- 1:00YouTube a couple days ago, and then she made a TikTok video
- 1:03where she opened up a little bit more about this.
- 1:06The idea of me being representative for the state of
- 1:08California came to me in a dream, in a vision, if you will.
- 1:12It's so vivid to me. I, like so many people, are just
- 1:15like watching the world. Just rumble little by little.
- 1:19But I'm not giving up hope. I'm a mother with three kids,
- 1:21and I really have a generation alpha and a generation beta, and
- 1:25they really need a better world. I never thought of myself as a
- 1:27political person until I started having kids and realizing, like,
- 1:30the world could be just so disastrous, dystopian for real
- 1:35by the time they get to be adults.
- 1:36So I was like, all right, Trish enough, just like shutting it
- 1:40out. Big ignorant.
- 1:41Trisha said her main goal initially, if she got in would
- 1:44be to increase the age requirement from 18 to 25 to
- 1:48participate in the adult entertainment industry.
- 1:51Now, she didn't say which political party she would be
- 1:54affiliated with, but she has publicly endorsed a range.
- 1:58In 2012, she publicly backed Republican presidential
- 2:01candidate Mitt Romney, sharing and a now related YouTube video
- 2:05in which she described him as super hot.
- 2:08She later voiced her support for Donald Trump in 2016 before
- 2:11distancing herself in a since deleted 2019 video titled I Do
- 2:15Not Support Trump, where she admitted that she never voted
- 2:19and, quote, literally knew nothing about politics.
- 2:22And then ahead of the 2020 election, Tricia said on
- 2:25frenemies that she voted for Joe Biden after he quoted Hamilton,
- 2:29mistakenly believing that a passage from the Declaration of
- 2:32Independence originated from the Broadway musical.
- 2:37And honestly, even though that is all true, those things all
- 2:41happened, it is very hard to know what to believe with
- 2:44Tricia, especially with her older endorsements, because she
- 2:48has since come out and said, like, I was such a troll in my
- 2:50early career, you know, it was all rage bait.
- 2:53But it's like, was it really? Like, you just never know?
- 2:56Like you just literally never know if Tricia is ever telling
- 2:59the truth. Although I do think she's
- 3:01telling the truth here. Like, I do think she genuinely
- 3:03wants to run for Congress. And I fear anything Tricia puts
- 3:07her mind to, she achieves. So like, I kind of see this
- 3:11happening, maybe not in the exact way that she wants it to
- 3:15and that she's talking about it right now, but like Tricia
- 3:17Paytas being in politics. Like, why does that not feel so
- 3:20crazy? Like it should be?
- 3:21It should absolutely be crazy. Like we need to bring back like
- 3:24qualifications. But I fear it's possible that
- 3:28she will be in politics. And then kind of the main
- 3:31criticism, aside from just like how controversial she is and
- 3:33like rage baby, she always is in general, the main criticism that
- 3:37people have had over her announcing that she wants to run
- 3:40for Congress is people saying it's kind of like a tone deaf
- 3:43thing to post about South casually in 2026, given
- 3:46everything that's going on in American politics right now.
- 3:49All right, the next story that I have for you guys is that TikTok
- 3:52creator Haley Khalil is being sued by her football player
- 3:56ex-husband for things that she said about his penis size on
- 4:00live stream. This is a really insane episode,
- 4:03you guys, I'm sorry. So Haley Khalil who is as Haley
- 4:06Bailey on TikTok, she's a TikTok creator, she's a model and she
- 4:09has over 16,000,000 followers. She went really viral in 2024
- 4:14with the let them eat cake Met Gala video that she posted that
- 4:18sparked a lot of backlash. So in case you don't remember
- 4:21this, she wasn't actually at the Mccalla, but she was like
- 4:24hosting something for e-news. She was dressed as Marie
- 4:27Antoinette and she lip synced to let them eat cake like a TikTok
- 4:32sound let them eat cake. And people felt like it was a
- 4:34really out of touch video and like scenario for her to be lip
- 4:38syncing this specific line given the historical context given she
- 4:42was doing this as such like a lavish expensive event.
- 4:45I actually did an entire breakdown on this situation on
- 4:49mini scroll. It's when I used to do
- 4:51occasionally like 1 story and episode.
- 4:54It was back in 2024. I think it was May obviously
- 4:56because it was Mac Ellis. So it would have been within
- 4:57like the first month or two of many.
- 4:59So I have no idea what that episode is like.
- 5:01But if you do want to go back and listen to it, it is there.
- 5:06Be kind to me. It was the very beginning of me
- 5:09learning to podcast by myself. OK.
- 5:11So it was reported this week that Hailey's ex-husband, former
- 5:14NFL player Matt Khalil, has filed A lawsuit against her over
- 5:17comments that she made about him during a Twitch live stream in
- 5:20November. Haley was on stream with Marlon
- 5:22Garcia where she opened up about her sex life with her ex-husband
- 5:26of seven years, and she insinuated that his penis size
- 5:29was the, quote, biggest factor for their divorce and implied
- 5:32that sex with him would leave her quote in tears.
- 5:35So Matt filed A lawsuit against her saying that these comments
- 5:38have impacted his ability to stay out of the public eye and
- 5:41that his family members have been forced to, quote, endure
- 5:44the ongoing public circulation of these degrading and deeply
- 5:47personal statements. Honestly, fair enough.
- 5:50And then he also says that she has benefited financially from a
- 5:54surge in traffic in the wake of the stream.
- 5:57I also want to say she talks a lot about her exes.
- 5:59Like she talks about, remember, she would talk about how she's
- 6:01like a billionaire boyfriend. But I think that maybe was a
- 6:04troll. I don't know.
- 6:05That's that's something similar between Tricia and Haley is you
- 6:08just never know what's like true with them or what's just a troll
- 6:11for views and attention. But yeah.
- 6:13So he is seeking $75,000 in damages and a jury trial.
- 6:18Now Haley has made a statement to People magazine about this,
- 6:20saying, quote, the truth is in the original live stream, which
- 6:23is still live on Marlins YouTube account, I speak highly of him
- 6:26in multiple ways throughout that conversation.
- 6:29She continues saying that she was, quote, genuinely shocked
- 6:32and incredibly hurt upon receiving the news of this
- 6:34filing. Litigation is a harrowing and
- 6:36emotionally draining experience and I'm heartbroken that he is
- 6:39choosing to subject us and our families to this ordeal.
- 6:42Even if she did speak highly of him, that doesn't negate the
- 6:45fact that she then said all this stuff about his Dick and about
- 6:49their marriage and their sex life.
- 6:50She remains controversial for views and the last story that I
- 6:55have for you guys, someone else who is remaining controversial
- 6:58for views these days is I'm going to breakdown the backlash
- 7:02right now happening online around the diary of a CEOA
- 7:05specific clip that has gone viral from an episode that was
- 7:08actually about six months ago. I I wasn't sure if I was going
- 7:11to cover it. It feels a little tiny bit out
- 7:13of the realm of mini scroll, but I wanted to talk about it
- 7:16because I think in 2024 I did AQ and A it might have been, I
- 7:19don't think it was last year. I don't think I did any Q and as
- 7:21in 2025 anyways, I think it was 2024 and somebody asked me what
- 7:24podcast you listen to and I specifically quickly remember I
- 7:27did say occasionally I will listen to Diary of Aceo
- 7:30depending on who he has on. And I feel like I just need to
- 7:32issue a correction. OK.
- 7:34Even back then he was heading down a certain type of pipeline
- 7:38and now he is like really there. Like his content is really
- 7:40there. So I do want to clarify, first
- 7:43of all, I do not listen to Diary of Aceo anymore and I absolutely
- 7:47would never listen to it anymore, especially after this.
- 7:50So let me get into it. So there is a clip from an
- 7:52episode of Diary of Aceo, the podcast that is going so viral
- 7:56on Talk right now. It's between the host Stephen
- 7:58Bartlett and famous psychiatrist Doctor K.
- 8:02The episode is not new. Like I said, it's from July of
- 8:04last year. But this particular segment has
- 8:07just started blowing up this week.
- 8:09I don't really know where it originated from in terms of like
- 8:12how it started blowing up, but it is everywhere now.
- 8:15So let me just play some of the segment for you.
- 8:17There is a whole generation of men that is like we are
- 8:20literally watching them die out. I almost wonder, is there a
- 8:26mechanism in a human being that if your genes know they're dying
- 8:32out, what would they trigger in your mind?
- 8:35So if we're going to talk about this topic from a purely
- 8:39animalistic perspective of like passing on genes, right, and
- 8:43this group of men, this cohort of men dying out, then I fear we
- 8:49need to look at it like natural selection, like something that
- 8:52is happening in the animal world, which happens in every
- 8:55species. Natural selection, the quote UN
- 8:59quote, females. I hate that word.
- 9:00But let's go for the animalistic perspective here.
- 9:02The females deem who is worthy mating with and who isn't based
- 9:06on a variety of factors. And that's what's happening in
- 9:10cell manosphere red pilled men. They're not safe men for women
- 9:14to procreate with. They're not safe men for women
- 9:16to be in relationships with. They're not men who protect our
- 9:18rights. They don't look at us as people.
- 9:21They tell us constantly that all they want from us is sex and
- 9:24cooking and cleaning. We're basically like a slave for
- 9:27them that they can then have sex with.
- 9:29So why the fuck would these same men then turn around and expect
- 9:35women to want to bring children into the world with them?
- 9:38God forbid you have a dog with a man like this.
- 9:41And they're right that women don't need these men anymore.
- 9:43But for generations we did like women stage trapped in horrible
- 9:48marriages with horrible men because they had to survive.
- 9:52Like they couldn't even have fucking bank accounts.
- 9:54Like a lot of our mothers, a lot of possibly people that listen
- 9:57to this podcast, women that listen to this podcast, remember
- 10:00when women couldn't have bank accounts even, you know, so it's
- 10:03like you had to survive somehow. And that's how the system was
- 10:06set up. So yes, obviously now we have
- 10:09more choice and more agency. So we're not choosing to be tied
- 10:12to men who think of us as like incubators for their legacy,
- 10:16quote UN quote legacy. Give me a fucking break with the
- 10:19legacy. OK.
- 10:20Also, I just think who like, who cares?
- 10:22Literally, it is so weird hearing men talk about, like,
- 10:27passing on their genes and their genes dying out.
- 10:29Like, OK, So what? What genes are you talking
- 10:34about? Who fucking cares?
- 10:36OK, so now let's talk about this part.
- 10:39I'm going to play another clip. Listen to what Stephen Bartlett
- 10:42asks, because this is really what has stirred up a lot of
- 10:46controversy. They will effectively out of the
- 10:48gene mating pool. So people will hear that and
- 10:51many people will go, well, that's evolution.
- 10:53But should society intervene to course correct that?
- 10:56Should we put systems in place to make sure that those men
- 10:58meet? Partners Stephen Bartlett is
- 11:00asking if the government should force women into having babies
- 11:07within cells. Like that's what it sounds like.
- 11:09I recognize that might not be what he was referring to.
- 11:12However, I think it is an insane question to bring up and not
- 11:17clarify if or what he meant by that by the government, like
- 11:20intervening in men's jeans, quote UN quote, dying out in the
- 11:24context of the current political and social atmosphere in the US,
- 11:29but also just globally. So I feel like there are a few
- 11:31comments and videos that really sum up the general feeling of
- 11:35this whole interview that I'm going to read.
- 11:37They can articulate it much better than I can.
- 11:39So one comment on the YouTube video reads, should society
- 11:43intervene? That is a horrifying thought.
- 11:46What are the intervention slash systems that you would put in
- 11:48place to ensure that men procreate?
- 11:51Why are we not talking about the women in this equation at all?
- 11:53Thankful that Doctor K at least brought up that a woman's
- 11:56consent is required. But this entire thought process
- 11:58is giving Handmaid's Tale. Someone else wrote.
- 12:01The system that is already in place is dating.
- 12:04That's it. What do you mean society should
- 12:06intervene? Bro this isn't Handmaid's tale.
- 12:08No man is owed a woman. The real problem women are
- 12:11having is that we say respect women and treat women with more
- 12:14humanity and then there are men that flat out refuse to do so.
- 12:18So we as women choose not to reproduce with them.
- 12:21The male loneliness epidemic really is a man's issue.
- 12:24And the key is just being someone that a woman will love
- 12:26based on personality, since women no longer need a man for
- 12:29money or stability anymore. And then this is a video from a
- 12:31creator named Ash. Her handle is existential Pisces
- 12:34444. It is so concerning that the
- 12:38suggested solution to the lowering birth rate is
- 12:43effectively a system around dating to make it easier for men
- 12:50to be able to get into partnerships with women so they
- 12:56don't end up as harmful humans placing the onus on women.
- 13:03Again, it is not women's responsibility to prevent
- 13:08radicalization or civilize grown adults.
- 13:12This is a system that again protects men without confronting
- 13:19their harmful behavior to begin. With and one last comment so
- 13:22this is the comment on Ash's video.
- 13:24It says the fact that they're not talking about the
- 13:26unfulfilled desire of having children slash starting a family
- 13:30and instead talk about passing on genes is so telling.
- 13:35And this really isn't right. Like, what woman wants to have
- 13:38children with a man who seemingly he only wants those
- 13:40children for the clout of being able to pass on his genes?
- 13:45Like what kind of father do you think that man will be to your
- 13:48kids? What kind of partner do you
- 13:50think that man will be to you as a mother, as raising a family
- 13:53together? And it's so crazy that Doctor K
- 13:56is saying these inselly men who can't get women are like trying
- 14:00everything. Like there's parts throughout
- 14:02this podcast where he's like, they're going to therapy.
- 14:04They're listening to the advice, but the advice is just not
- 14:06working for them. As a woman on the Internet who
- 14:09speaks about these these topics here and there, I can tell you
- 14:12these men are not doing anything to improve their situations.
- 14:15They're not listening to women. They're not taking this advice
- 14:18like women are saying, as that comment that I read before said,
- 14:20like, treat us like human beings.
- 14:22Don't call us names. And the amount of men even just
- 14:25like in our comment section when I occasionally talk about the
- 14:28manosphere who are calling me names, being threatening and
- 14:31like psychotic like that is not showing me that men are doing
- 14:35all the right things. And it's just the mean women who
- 14:39don't want to give them a chance.
- 14:40Like that is literally not what's happening here.
- 14:43And these men, they make excuses.
- 14:45And Doctor K also said this. He's like, oh, something about
- 14:47their face shape. He was basically saying, you
- 14:49know, the men, if they're not born right, like if they, you
- 14:52know, have the wrong face shape, they look different.
- 14:55Whatever it is, then women don't want them.
- 14:57And it's like men make these excuses.
- 14:59They talk about Dick size, they talk about height, they talk
- 15:01about their face shape. That's what looks maxing is all
- 15:04about. Women are not being shallow and
- 15:06not talking to you because you don't have like, the perfect,
- 15:09perfect physique because you don't look perfect, because
- 15:11you're not the perfect type. It literally is not about that.
- 15:14You don't actually want to change as a person.
- 15:17You are not listening to what women actually want.
- 15:19Women don't give a shit about what you look like.
- 15:21They want to have this excuse so bad that it's completely out of
- 15:25their control and it's all women's fault.
- 15:27And if it's all about physicality, then it makes it
- 15:30women's fault because it makes women shallow.
- 15:32And that is why we pick the bear.
- 15:35OK. Stephen Bartlett has been going
- 15:37down this really murky pilled pipeline for a while now, but it
- 15:42really ramped up over the past couple of years because he
- 15:45became an investor in this like health related company.
- 15:47And so he started featuring more and more guests in this like
- 15:51health related space and they have just spread some of the
- 15:56most contradictory and insane misinformation.
- 16:00And he really just never pushes back or challenges them.
- 16:03And I think that's the biggest issue that people have.
- 16:06And it's a shame because his earlier interviews with actual
- 16:09business people, which is what the podcast started as Diary of
- 16:12Aceo, was him interviewing successful business people about
- 16:16their secrets. And that was really helpful.
- 16:17Like as somebody who's building a brand, that's why I like to
- 16:20listen to a lot of his episodes. I found a lot of his interviews,
- 16:23the guests like they were great. They gave great information,
- 16:26tangible information that I could take away, but now it
- 16:29feels like he almost exclusively interviews like grifters.
- 16:32So I guess anything for views. Anyways guys, that's it for mini
- 16:36scroll today. Thank you so much for listening.
- 16:38I love you guys. Please remember to rate review
- 16:41and subscribe. Please Spotify star rate US and
- 16:43I will talk to you guys tomorrow for a Friday mini scroll.
- 16:47Bye.
