- 0:22Speaker 1: What's up, polks. You're listening to Eagles postgame analysis here
- 0:25Speaker 1: at the Philadelphia Sports Table podcast show, the longest running
- 0:28Speaker 1: weekly Philly sports podcast show in the world, over twelve
- 0:31Speaker 1: and a half years strong. In Week ten of the
- 0:34Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles twenty twenty five twenty twenty six season is
- 0:37Speaker 1: now in the books. They've beat the Green Bay Packers
- 0:40Speaker 1: up in lambeau Field, amazingly enough, by a score of
- 0:44Speaker 1: ten to seven. They are now seven and two on
- 0:48Speaker 1: the season, a top of the NFC East, a top
- 0:51Speaker 1: of the NFC as well. My goodness, gracious, what a
- 0:56Speaker 1: piece of garbage game we saw. I'm Jeff Warren. You've
- 1:01Speaker 1: got me solo here on our post game show. My goodness,
- 1:06Speaker 1: gonna dive into some of the themes from this game, and
- 1:09Speaker 1: then I'm gonna be giving some grades as well. This
- 1:11Speaker 1: is gonna be a bit of a shorter post game show,
- 1:14Speaker 1: but I'm absolutely amazed at what we saw in terms
- 1:18Speaker 1: of this Eagles offense, which we're certainly gonna be getting
- 1:21Speaker 1: into it. On the injury front, uh, we all had
- 1:25Speaker 1: a scare. We all had to scare with Lane Johnson
- 1:27Speaker 1: going out in the second quarter with an ankle injury.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Didn't think he'd be coming back any time soon after
- 1:33Speaker 1: seeing that getting that ankle rolled up on, but he
- 1:37Speaker 1: actually came back into the game in the fourth quarter.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You want to talk about a warrior, a warrior in
- 1:42Speaker 1: this game of football, that is Lane Johnson. We also
- 1:45Speaker 1: had another little bit of a scare with Quinnon Mitchell
- 1:48Speaker 1: going out early in the first quarter. Looked like a
- 1:51Speaker 1: possible knee issue, but he then came back in the
- 1:54Speaker 1: next series. Thankfully, there were not too many serious injuries
- 1:58Speaker 1: with this Eagles team in Green Bay. As I mentioned
- 2:02Speaker 1: the offense, Holy cow, I'm gonna say this about both
- 2:05Speaker 1: of these teams, Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers. Neither
- 2:09Speaker 1: of these offenses deserve to win this game. I think
- 2:12Speaker 1: that's the overall theme here in a ten to seven game,
- 2:18Speaker 1: in a ten to seven victory for this Eagles team,
- 2:22Speaker 1: none of these offenses deserve to win. Slop all over
- 2:26Speaker 1: the place, inconsistency, and we're gonna get to what is
- 2:30Speaker 1: it the heart right now of the Eagles offense. And
- 2:34Speaker 1: this is an offense that you saw them a couple
- 2:38Speaker 1: weeks ago into the New York Giants, and you say
- 2:39Speaker 1: to yourself, my goodness, they are actually putting it together.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Things are coming together. The offensive line is doing what
- 2:44Speaker 1: it needs to do. They're doing their jobs, giving Saquon
- 2:48Speaker 1: Barkley the holes and the gaps to run through. There's consistency,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, it seems like this regression,
- 2:56Speaker 1: But when you take a look at it as a whole,
- 2:59Speaker 1: it really isn't a regression. The offense just is inconsistent
- 3:04Speaker 1: in stinks this year, and there's a reason why. And
- 3:07Speaker 1: this is not just on Kevin Petulo. This is on
- 3:10Speaker 1: Nick Sirianni as well. You know what they did. They
- 3:14Speaker 1: made things very easy for the Green Bay Packers. This
- 3:18Speaker 1: could be the most predictable offense in the entire NFL, folks,
- 3:22Speaker 1: the most predictable offense in this league. The Packers knew
- 3:27Speaker 1: the snap count. It was obvious, you could see it.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They knew the plays that were coming. They knew when
- 3:35Speaker 1: they were lining up at the line of scrimmage what
- 3:38Speaker 1: the plays were going to be based on the formation.
- 3:40Speaker 1: It was easy for the Packers' defense this week here
- 3:44Speaker 1: in Week ten, and we're seeing this time and time
- 3:48Speaker 1: again this season. It's not just a Kevin Petulo problem.
- 3:52Speaker 1: And yes, it is, I believe, but this from an
- 3:54Speaker 1: overall picture is a Nick Sirianni problem. We're seeing it
- 3:57Speaker 1: time and time again. My goodness, the play calling just
- 4:02Speaker 1: totally mystifying. Again, in certain in game situations, we can
- 4:07Speaker 1: go to the first half and even the second half,
- 4:10Speaker 1: but in the first half, on some of those third
- 4:12Speaker 1: down plays, we saw a third and two, they decided
- 4:18Speaker 1: to pass. We also saw two other subsequent third downs
- 4:23Speaker 1: in two yards and they decided to pass on both
- 4:26Speaker 1: of those as well. Thankfully, they got a pass interference
- 4:28Speaker 1: on one of them that kept the quote drive alive.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Yet they have a third and twelve and they decide
- 4:35Speaker 1: to run. So the inconsistency with this offense is what
- 4:39Speaker 1: just drives us all crazy. I think the Eagles open
- 4:43Speaker 1: up the game with a sixteen play seventy seven yard
- 4:48Speaker 1: drive that ends in a Jalen Hurts fumble. It was
- 4:52Speaker 1: they took eight minutes and forty six seconds off the
- 4:56Speaker 1: clock on that drive. It was the first turnover since
- 5:00Speaker 1: October ninth, when Jalen Hurts threw an interception in that
- 5:03Speaker 1: very first Giants game. But my gosh, right after that
- 5:08Speaker 1: sixteen play seventy seven yard drive, after that their drives
- 5:14Speaker 1: three plays for three yards, and then they punt three
- 5:18Speaker 1: plays for eight yards, and then they punt five plays
- 5:22Speaker 1: for seven yards, and then they punt. That's eleven plays
- 5:26Speaker 1: for eighteen yards. How do you go from sixteen plays
- 5:31Speaker 1: in seventy seven yards to eleven plays for eighteen yards.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And we've seen this in various games throughout this twenty
- 5:40Speaker 1: twenty five twenty twenty six season. And look, the Eagles
- 5:44Speaker 1: came into this game with the fewest turnovers in the league.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I just mentioned Jalen Hurts unfortunately fumbling right as he
- 5:50Speaker 1: got into the red zone on a quarterback carry in
- 5:52Speaker 1: the first drive of that game. Then you had Jordan
- 5:56Speaker 1: Love fumbling right before the half as they were going
- 5:58Speaker 1: into score. Packers, we were going into score. But man,
- 6:02Speaker 1: both quarterbacks just looking absolutely horrendous in this game, both
- 6:07Speaker 1: quarterbacks with a fumble and the opposing team recovered this offense.
- 6:12Speaker 1: My goodness. And I was wondering what was happening right
- 6:16Speaker 1: off the bat too, because you actually had all three
- 6:20Speaker 1: running backs in this game with carries on the very
- 6:24Speaker 1: first drive and I'm thinking, wow, okay, the run. They're
- 6:27Speaker 1: trying to establish the run. We didn't see a lot
- 6:30Speaker 1: of passes on that first drive of the game. In fact,
- 6:36Speaker 1: the passes that we did see in this game, what's
- 6:38Speaker 1: the word, folks, what's the word? They were predictable, right,
- 6:42Speaker 1: they were predictable. How many times do we have to
- 6:46Speaker 1: see that that tight end pass to Dallas Goddard. It
- 6:50Speaker 1: got to the point where the Packers defense absolutely knew
- 6:53Speaker 1: that that play was coming. When Goddard is running to
- 6:58Speaker 1: the sideline and Hurts is getting it to him only
- 7:01Speaker 1: about you know, five yards down the down, past the
- 7:04Speaker 1: line of scrimmage. It's just the same plays being run
- 7:08Speaker 1: over and over and over again. I think there may
- 7:11Speaker 1: be only four or five rushing plays in the playbook,
- 7:15Speaker 1: That's what it seems like. It seems like there's only
- 7:16Speaker 1: four or five pass plays in the playbook as well.
- 7:21Speaker 1: And let's talk about this offensive line. My goodness, boy,
- 7:25Speaker 1: how they are missing Cam Jurgens, How they are missing
- 7:31Speaker 1: a productive Jordan Mylatta. Jordan Mylatta with two false starts
- 7:35Speaker 1: in this game. You see him time and time again
- 7:38Speaker 1: when he's trying to pull. We saw the one time
- 7:40Speaker 1: he just tripped and fell. But his level of play
- 7:44Speaker 1: this season and he's addressed it. He's talked about it.
- 7:48Speaker 1: If you follow Eagles media, you know he has said
- 7:52Speaker 1: not having enough time basically during the course of the
- 7:55Speaker 1: offseason to you know, get himself right. And it's such
- 7:58Speaker 1: a physical game. I get it, I understand, but there
- 8:01Speaker 1: are other offensive tackles in the league as well who
- 8:04Speaker 1: are playing at a high level. And you're coming off
- 8:07Speaker 1: a Super Bowl, you have a certain level of talent. Man.
- 8:10Speaker 1: This offensive line just not very much in sync as well.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I can't wait to get to those grades. But my goodness, Okay,
- 8:18Speaker 1: enough with the offense. I want to move over to
- 8:21Speaker 1: the defense, because the defense, I mean, they were the
- 8:24Speaker 1: stars in this game. I mean absolutely the stars in
- 8:28Speaker 1: this game. They open the Eagles opened up the game
- 8:31Speaker 1: in nickel personnel with a Dori Jackson at outside cornerback
- 8:35Speaker 1: and I'm looking at that and being, oh, geez, a
- 8:38Speaker 1: little skeptical about him being the starter. But but I
- 8:43Speaker 1: have to say the defensive player of this game I
- 8:47Speaker 1: think has to be newly acquired Jalen Phillips. It was
- 8:52Speaker 1: so great to see him on the field and in
- 8:54Speaker 1: Eagles uniform where in number fifty he was actually starting
- 8:58Speaker 1: the game at the left end position. Boy, he had
- 9:02Speaker 1: himself an incredible debut, generating a ton of pressure. He
- 9:08Speaker 1: was terrific in the run game, absolutely hustling out there,
- 9:12Speaker 1: I think more than anyone. When Jordan Love was scrambling,
- 9:16Speaker 1: you could just see the pursuit. I mean, a game
- 9:21Speaker 1: changing impact right off the bat. And let's not forget
- 9:25Speaker 1: Nolan Smith being back for the first time in what
- 9:27Speaker 1: about six weeks or so. But this Eagles defense also
- 9:31Speaker 1: in the first half, they had three sacks. Sometimes they
- 9:34Speaker 1: don't have three sacks in a game, and we had
- 9:37Speaker 1: a chance to see that, which was great. The Eagles
- 9:40Speaker 1: defense was fantastic, I would say for about ninety five
- 9:44Speaker 1: percent of the game. And then all of a sudden
- 9:47Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter, prevent defense shows up. They're up
- 9:52Speaker 1: by ten, they're trying to close out the game, and
- 9:56Speaker 1: prevent defense is being played. Give me a break, Vic
- 10:00Speaker 1: vic Fangio, What was happening? What was going on there?
- 10:04Speaker 1: Give you all the credit in the world, my man.
- 10:06Speaker 1: You are one of the main reasons why this team
- 10:09Speaker 1: won this Week ten game. But give me a break, man,
- 10:13Speaker 1: Especially when you've got a dor Jackson playing eight yards
- 10:16Speaker 1: off your receiver and you're playing this type of prevent defense.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It ended up working out in the end, I guess
- 10:24Speaker 1: you would say, and certainly from a defensive perspective, I mean,
- 10:27Speaker 1: this team was absolutely dominant. I should say this defense
- 10:30Speaker 1: was absolutely dominant. Zach Bond Nikobe Dean. You can't dismiss
- 10:36Speaker 1: Nacoby Dean's presence on the field. With seven total tackles,
- 10:39Speaker 1: he had a sack, He had a tackle for a loss,
- 10:42Speaker 1: one quarterback hit as well. Those three sacks I mentioned
- 10:46Speaker 1: in the first half, those are the only sacks of
- 10:48Speaker 1: the game, but I like seeing eight quarterback hits total.
- 10:51Speaker 1: There were five passes defended, five tackles for a loss
- 10:56Speaker 1: as well. Jordan Love was under pressure consistently throughout this
- 11:01Speaker 1: game by this Eagles defensive front. I can't wait to
- 11:03Speaker 1: get to the grades when it comes to this defense.
- 11:07Speaker 1: So with that being said, I think we're going to
- 11:10Speaker 1: take a break here and I'd love to hear from
- 11:12Speaker 1: you to get your thoughts on what this Week ten
- 11:16Speaker 1: matchup looks like or looked like for the Eagles in
- 11:19Speaker 1: your opinion, What does it mean moving forward with the
- 11:22Speaker 1: games that this team has down the road. There are
- 11:25Speaker 1: some formidable opponents. Let's just say that right around the
- 11:29Speaker 1: corner here. Let us know what you're thinking. Philadelphia Sports
- 11:32Speaker 1: Table at gmail dot com. Love to read your email
- 11:34Speaker 1: here on the show and respond to it this week
- 11:37Speaker 1: on our regular show. Get those emails in before Wednesday
- 11:41Speaker 1: night again. I'd love to read those emails on our
- 11:44Speaker 1: regular show. We are going to take a break here.
- 11:47Speaker 1: When we get back, I'm going to be diving into
- 11:50Speaker 1: some grades with you. Stick with us, all right, we
- 11:55Speaker 1: are back here. Let's dive into the grades that we
- 11:59Speaker 1: do on our Eagles postgame podcast shows. We're gonna grade
- 12:02Speaker 1: by unit. We're gonna start with the quarterback position. Jalen
- 12:05Speaker 1: Hurts going fifteen of twenty six for one hundred and
- 12:08Speaker 1: eighty three yards. He averaged seven yards per attempt one touchdown.
- 12:12Speaker 1: He finished with a rating of ninety two point three.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I'm giving Jalen Hurts a C minus this week. This
- 12:18Speaker 1: C minus is good. It would have been a straight
- 12:21Speaker 1: up D to D minus if he didn't throw that
- 12:24Speaker 1: touchdown pass to Devonte Smith, That thirty six yard touchdown
- 12:28Speaker 1: pass that Devonte Smith caught that really helped seal the
- 12:32Speaker 1: game for them. It was the best offensive play basically
- 12:35Speaker 1: the entire game, and arguably before that, Saquon Barkley having
- 12:41Speaker 1: that forty one yard er that that arguably was one
- 12:45Speaker 1: of the best plays of the game as well, So
- 12:48Speaker 1: two of the best plays coming right in a row
- 12:50Speaker 1: there in the fourth quarter from this Eagles offense. But
- 12:53Speaker 1: I give Jalen Hurts a C minus. Didn't really do
- 12:57Speaker 1: a lot to help this team, really didn't see the
- 13:00Speaker 1: field a lot, and I think we s this is
- 13:04Speaker 1: one of those games where we have those concerns every
- 13:07Speaker 1: now and again about Jalen Hurts, and yes, he laid
- 13:10Speaker 1: a stinker, as did the offensive coaching, which we're going
- 13:12Speaker 1: to certainly grade as well. Let's move to the running
- 13:15Speaker 1: backs here. Say Kwon Barkley twenty two carries sixty yards,
- 13:19Speaker 1: he averaged two point seven yards per carry. Will Shipley
- 13:22Speaker 1: four carries for seventeen yards. He averaged four point three
- 13:25Speaker 1: yards per carry. And Tank Bigsby getting involved in the
- 13:28Speaker 1: action on three carries for seven yards, he average two
- 13:31Speaker 1: point three yards per carry. The running backs are only
- 13:35Speaker 1: gonna do as well as the offensive line. And that's
- 13:38Speaker 1: why when I grade the offensive line right now, and
- 13:42Speaker 1: I give this offensive line a D minus, that's why
- 13:45Speaker 1: you have the running backs that are actually gonna get
- 13:48Speaker 1: a C in this game. If you don't have an
- 13:52Speaker 1: offensive line that is productive and laying the foundation for
- 13:55Speaker 1: what your offense needs to be, whether it's the passing
- 13:58Speaker 1: game or the rushing game, you're not going to be
- 14:00Speaker 1: able to move the ball down the field. So I'm
- 14:03Speaker 1: gonna be given the running backs a C minus a
- 14:06Speaker 1: D minus for the offensive line. It was just an
- 14:10Speaker 1: absolute abomination how they played, my goodness, just one of
- 14:14Speaker 1: the sloppiest games of the season. The receivers, I basically
- 14:20Speaker 1: think that they did what they were asked to do.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Davonte Smith seven targets. He came down with four balls
- 14:26Speaker 1: for sixty nine yards in that touchdown that I mentioned.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Dallas Goddard was targeted six times, came down with four
- 14:31Speaker 1: balls for forty three yards. Saquan caught three balls for
- 14:34Speaker 1: forty one yards. Will Shipley caught two balls for seventeen yards.
- 14:38Speaker 1: And folks, our good friend. Wow, it's not really a
- 14:43Speaker 1: good friend of I would love it if he was
- 14:45Speaker 1: our friend, because I absolutely love him. Aj Brown only
- 14:49Speaker 1: three targets in this game, came down with two balls
- 14:51Speaker 1: for thirteen yards. Just absolutely ridiculous. How he appeared not
- 14:59Speaker 1: to be part of of this game. Plan. How can
- 15:02Speaker 1: AJ Brown not be part of the offensive game plan?
- 15:05Speaker 1: I really want to know that, And I don't care.
- 15:08Speaker 1: As we're recording this, Nick Sirianni is doing his presser.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I don't care what he says. I don't care what
- 15:14Speaker 1: Kevin Patulo says. You have a talent like AJ Brown,
- 15:18Speaker 1: you do not get him three targets per game. You
- 15:23Speaker 1: don't do that. It is incredible how they are squandering
- 15:30Speaker 1: offensive productivity, squandering what this offensive game plan is supposed
- 15:37Speaker 1: to produce when you are not including AJ Brown in it?
- 15:41Speaker 1: How is this possible? Let us know your thoughts again,
- 15:44Speaker 1: Philadelphia Sportstable at gmail dot com. What the heck is
- 15:48Speaker 1: going on with AJ Brown? And I really don't think
- 15:52Speaker 1: it's Aj I really don't, folks. He's got great hands,
- 15:55Speaker 1: he's got great speed, he can go right up to
- 15:57Speaker 1: the catch point. What is happening here? It really stinks
- 16:04Speaker 1: how they're not utilizing him and the offense of struggling
- 16:07Speaker 1: in the meantime. So with the receivers, I'm gonna give
- 16:11Speaker 1: them a B plus this week. That's what I'm giving them.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'd love to hear what you have to say. Philadelphia
- 16:17Speaker 1: Sports Table at gmail dot com Let's move over to
- 16:20Speaker 1: the defense. Defensive defense is gonna get glowing grades for me.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say that right now. Defensive line and
- 16:28Speaker 1: especially when you have Jalen Phillips with six total tackles,
- 16:32Speaker 1: he had one tackle for a loss, two quarterback hits
- 16:36Speaker 1: in his debut, Jylyx Hunt making his presence known once
- 16:40Speaker 1: again with five total tackles, a sack, two tackles for
- 16:43Speaker 1: a loss, a quarterback hit. You also had Nolan Smith
- 16:48Speaker 1: getting in the backfield as well. He had a sack,
- 16:51Speaker 1: He had two quarterback hits as well. I also love
- 16:54Speaker 1: that Moro Jomo had two quarterback hits. The defensive front
- 16:59Speaker 1: was dominant in this game. A plus from me, A
- 17:02Speaker 1: plus from me. Absolutely the linebackers, My gosh, Nakobe Dean
- 17:07Speaker 1: is just a damn good football player. And guess what
- 17:10Speaker 1: we know, Zach bond is as well. In fact, in
- 17:13Speaker 1: terms of total tackles and productivity, they were right at
- 17:16Speaker 1: the top of the of the chart. Zach bond ate
- 17:19Speaker 1: total tackles on the day, Nakobe Dean seven total tackles.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I mentioned n Kobe Dean's sack, tackle for loss, and
- 17:27Speaker 1: quarterback hit. In fact, I just mentioned it again because
- 17:30Speaker 1: he's so damn good. They get an A plus. Linebackers
- 17:34Speaker 1: A plus this week. The secondary they're gonna get straight
- 17:38Speaker 1: up A. They played pretty damn good football, with the
- 17:43Speaker 1: exception of a Dori Jackson, as I mentioned towards the
- 17:46Speaker 1: top before the break, a Dorr Jackson playing it, and
- 17:49Speaker 1: I know Vic Fangio has him playing eight yards off
- 17:52Speaker 1: a receiver in a critical situation. Yes, they were playing prevent,
- 17:57Speaker 1: but at Dorry Jackson. Once again we saw him getting
- 17:59Speaker 1: beat in this game. He's just not good. He is
- 18:02Speaker 1: a liability at times. But I gotta give the secondary
- 18:07Speaker 1: an A. Andrew mccouba, you know, every now and again,
- 18:11Speaker 1: still looking like a rookie out there, but read blank
- 18:14Speaker 1: and shit, playing really good football. Cooper dejen not having
- 18:17Speaker 1: the best game ever, but still playing some damn good football.
- 18:21Speaker 1: And of course Quinyon Mitchell, how do you argue with
- 18:24Speaker 1: his play on the field, the secondary is going to
- 18:27Speaker 1: get an A form me. As we move now to
- 18:31Speaker 1: the coaching, I'm gonna this is really interesting because you
- 18:35Speaker 1: all know, if you've been listening to this show for
- 18:38Speaker 1: a while. In my opinions, in the Game of Football,
- 18:41Speaker 1: special teams is important. It just is. Whether you're punting,
- 18:45Speaker 1: whether you're kicking the ball off, you're returning, kicking field goals.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Special teams are important. They are not sexy at all
- 18:53Speaker 1: unless the field goal kicker somehow is kicking a sixty
- 18:56Speaker 1: four sixty eight yard field goal. But real, I mean,
- 19:00Speaker 1: special teams is so important. Braiden Man had a punt
- 19:02Speaker 1: of thirty yards in the second quarter, absolutely horrendous. But
- 19:07Speaker 1: then braiden Man had some other good punts in this
- 19:09Speaker 1: game as well. He ended the day with five punts,
- 19:14Speaker 1: averaging forty seven point six yards per punt. Not terrible
- 19:17Speaker 1: by any stretch, not terrible. Jake Elliott was perfect today,
- 19:22Speaker 1: kicked a field goal for thirty nine yards, kicked one
- 19:24Speaker 1: extra point. Xavier Gibson, look, you know, he did make
- 19:30Speaker 1: a weird, weird return type play that could have been
- 19:36Speaker 1: a real, real bungle down by the Packers goal line.
- 19:42Speaker 1: But at the end of the day he was averaging
- 19:44Speaker 1: fifteen point five yards per punt return and that's pretty
- 19:49Speaker 1: damn good. It really is. In terms of the kick returns,
- 19:53Speaker 1: the team was averaging twenty five point five yards per
- 19:56Speaker 1: kick return. That's with Xavier Gibson and will Shipley. I'm
- 20:00Speaker 1: actually well, I do want to say this too. I
- 20:02Speaker 1: do want to say this. Kieley Ringo had a holding
- 20:06Speaker 1: penalty on a punt right before the end of the
- 20:09Speaker 1: first half. That holding call ended up giving up twenty
- 20:13Speaker 1: five yards of field position. Because of it, Bradon Man
- 20:17Speaker 1: ended up punting the ball to the eight yard line.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Because of that twenty five yard penalty went to the
- 20:23Speaker 1: thirty three yard line. Kiley Ringo, man guy is a
- 20:27Speaker 1: liability every now and then, we're continuing to see it.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Somebody who has not developed even really in the special
- 20:33Speaker 1: teams game as well as I'm going to give special
- 20:36Speaker 1: teams this week a B minus. I'm not sure what
- 20:39Speaker 1: you would give them, but I'm giving them a B minus.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Let's move over the defense. Vic Fangio and his game calling.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I really think it's an A plus. You hold the
- 20:50Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers at home to seven points. Jordan Love
- 20:55Speaker 1: threw for one hundred and seventy six yards, some of
- 20:58Speaker 1: that in garbage time, A lot of that garbage time.
- 21:00Speaker 1: You only averaged four point nine yards per attempt. I
- 21:04Speaker 1: mean Christian Watson only had I mean, look, Christian Watson
- 21:10Speaker 1: forty five yards on two receptions. That was his leading
- 21:15Speaker 1: receiver in this game. And you see with them not
- 21:17Speaker 1: having Tucker Kraft also did they were unable to pivot.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Their offense was unable to pivot. They didn't have the
- 21:23Speaker 1: go to playmaker. Josh Jacobs only averaged three point five
- 21:27Speaker 1: yards per rush on twenty one carries seventy four yards.
- 21:33Speaker 1: This Eagles defense and Vic Fangio had a great game
- 21:35Speaker 1: plan coming in. They executed it, getting an A eight
- 21:39Speaker 1: plus for me, Nick Sirianni and Kevin Pittulo, they're getting
- 21:44Speaker 1: an F. They're getting an F. They had two weeks,
- 21:48Speaker 1: two weeks of offensive coaching to figure some things out,
- 21:53Speaker 1: but they didn't. Two weeks. I think we all thought
- 21:57Speaker 1: we were going to see something a little different this week.
- 21:59Speaker 1: After that last Giants game, the second Giants game, right
- 22:03Speaker 1: before the buye, things were looking up from an offensive perspective,
- 22:08Speaker 1: and then this game we kind of saw just the
- 22:10Speaker 1: same old crap, the same old predictability that I talked
- 22:13Speaker 1: about at the top. The Green Bay Packers knew the
- 22:17Speaker 1: snap count, they knew which plays were coming. The Philadelphia
- 22:22Speaker 1: Eagles offense and the offensive coaching made it easy for
- 22:26Speaker 1: the Green Bay Packers defense this week incredibly easy and
- 22:29Speaker 1: that's why Nick Sirianni and Kevin Patulo are getting an
- 22:32Speaker 1: F for me. Absolutely horrendous coaching. Gonna be interesting to
- 22:39Speaker 1: see what the message is from the Eagles offensive coaching
- 22:42Speaker 1: staff this week. But look again, a win is a win.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I'm happy this team is now seven and two. There
- 22:50Speaker 1: is that little thing called momentum here as they're going
- 22:53Speaker 1: to be heading into next week's game. I think next
- 22:58Speaker 1: week's game is going to be pretty rough. They are
- 23:01Speaker 1: taking on the Detroit Lions, another top team in this NFC. Man,
- 23:08Speaker 1: it is going to be a with some folks in
- 23:13Speaker 1: the wrestling world like to call a schloberknocker, but I
- 23:18Speaker 1: think that's going to do it for us. Here again,
- 23:20Speaker 1: we'd love to hear your thoughts on this Eagles game
- 23:22Speaker 1: against the Packers. What's in store for this team in
