- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Good morning friends, in enemies.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: We're moving on to week two.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: Week one is fun.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: It was exciting.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: We all had a good time.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: But we're ready for the week two, everyone.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what this video is.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_01]: We are going through all of the trending players for week two's waiver wire.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to let you know our favorite pickups on the week.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe some fab suggestions.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: Whether or not we'd spend the number one overall waiver wire priority bid on any of these players to help you keep the moment
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Michael, we're going to start off with everybody's favorite position here, the running back position.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I think from like an overall, you know, if you're trying to tell the narrative or the story of like week one, week two, waiver wire, to me, there's no one overly exciting here.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's,
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's a tier of handcuff running back.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: So you can kind of mix and match.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I like this guy or this guy played a large role in his offense.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: This guy was the clear backup.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think there are some names that you can kind of talk yourself into why they might have a more clear role or something like that.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: But when we're looking at the trending players here, like Singletary to me, not a guy I'm rostering on the back end of my team here.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: Najee Harris was an active in this first one, Camp Scataboo is clearly the dude back there.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: caught some passes, but I think that was just kind of a variant thing where Cam ran as almost as many routes as single Terry did.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: He just didn't end up getting targets there, but I think once Nasi Iris is back, like it'll be Cam, and then it'll be a mix of whoever else's behind there.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think you could say the same thing that Emma Johnson, clear handcuffed to Kenneth Walker, should probably be owned if you have you know an opening for a roster spot there.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: The other guys are not
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: actually unowned in most seriously, he's coming on by JCM.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: The interesting name that things being fallen around here a lot is K-Long Black.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: He got a lot of run on that Thursday night game in Melbourne behind Christian McAfrey.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I'll carried him.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: Got a lot of work and looked really good.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: They spent a third round pick on him, not something that
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners haven't done for what feels like 10 straight seasons at this point.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: This is the first guy who's ever got real running in a regular season game since Christian McCaffrey's actually been on the team.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: The way I'm thinking about this is like very weird game, right?
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're in Australia.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Christian McCaffrey was obviously dealing with minor injuries throughout the last couple of weeks of the summer, like you're not going to load them up on 25 touches and run them into the ground.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: Especially in a game script aware by the fourth quarter, they're up by 20 points basically.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: And what I think is more
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: obvious here is that he was dealing with cramps for most of the game.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: So in my opinion, like people are going to like, hey, I'm black has a real role in this backfield.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then next week, Christian McAfrey, having 10 days of rest to get fully healthy and like back acclimated to U.S.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: Going to go out there, get 25 touches.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then K-Long black is just going to be, okay, cool, right hand cup to own.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously top priority amongst the running backs this week.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: But like, it feels pretty clear cut to me to anyone with a brain here.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: Are you thinking anything different there?
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: No, anyone who's trying to induce real high level panic on Christian McAfrey has lost a plot.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: They've lost a plot.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: Black goes for 44% of the snaps.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: In this one, I would not be surprised whatsoever if that's his season high and a game that Christian McAfrey is also healthy.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: That would be
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: no shock whatsoever in my opinion.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: I do think at this point, it's very, very obvious that Kaling Black is a priority hand cuff.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: There is some world where he has some stand-alone value, like you're just absolutely destroyed by injuries and buys and you feel comfortable that you can get him in there for six or seven points.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's possible, but at his floor, he's obviously a really, really strong hand cuff piece to have on your roster, but there's no reason to have real panic on, on CMAC and what Kaling Black's gonna do to him.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: It was pretty shocking though, it was pretty shocking.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like you said, Tyrion Day was price, Trace, Sermon was a Joe Williams.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like they burn all these third and fourth round picks on these running backs year and year out and just don't play them whatsoever.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: So that was interesting, but not too much to say other than blacks probably just a really, really strong handcuff option.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, eventually you got to hit on one of those guys, like one of them has to be like a at least borderline NFL talent, you know, and they've missed on like basically every single one of those.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: So black look good.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt about it.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: I would probably rank him as the no unless I'm overthinking someone here, probably the number one handcuff in fantasy football right now.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: You know run a muck in that back feel a little bit and maybe split carries with with see back again, but you know no real concern there black would be my number one running back again Johnson is a good handcuff here.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: The other guys don't really interest me Reem Sanders is a guy that will take Dylan Samson's place if the knee injury ends up being anything serious and they miss time.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: But like
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: You already don't want the running back one in Cleveland, let alone the running back two behind him here.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Kendra Miller, I think is a conversation because the split between him and ETN was like, it was real.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: I really don't know what to make of it here, but he's a zero in the past catching game.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: Kamara will be back.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: They had CJ Donaldson in there for like a quarter of the snaps running routes and past blocking and stuff.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not really sure in my mind what I kind of want to do right now is just throw away everything that happened in the first half for the Saints.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: And it kind of feels like nothing is working.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: Let's try to get some new fresh faces on the field and see if we can get a spark there.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: And that's to me what kind of led to like Miller having an increased work size for this week.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: But like I've got no real interest in any running back in New Orleans besides Travis
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, absolutely none.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: It seemed like Kamara was really close to playing in this game.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, I think the Saturday night reports were like that he could play.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: And then Sunday comes out that he's not going to what were you getting out of Kendra Miller when Alvin Kamara's healthy.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's just the usage.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: It was kind of shocking from ETS perspective that Kendra Miller was factoring and so, so heavily.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: But no, Kendra Miller just not worth it in the vast majority of the easements is just a ridiculously deep situation.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: agreed.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: Before we get to the receivers, which are obviously the more, you know, interesting part of this week's waiver wire, I do want to jump back to quarterbacks because, you know, we could go through streamers, not something typical that I do on these shows to be honest with you, but I do play in a lot of super flex leagues.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I think there are some interesting talking points here because of the injuries that have kind of occurred.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: throughout week one.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think two guys that are looked at a little bit similarly in terms of like week two fillings and possibly longer would be obviously Donald going down the glued injury.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: It just hit our feeds with a report that it's going to be around a three to four week absence, probably for Sam Donald.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: And why that sucks if you had Donald or like a J.S.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: and or something like that, but as good for Drew Locke, if you need a quarterback is they're batchups over the next two weeks.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: They get
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: Arizona and then Washington or Washington's Arizona in one way or another.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: So very, very, very strong matchups here.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: So you, you probably have drew luck to throw in as like a low in QB2 for the next couple weeks.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: Got a good game.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously a lot of that was just aided by JS and making that one big explosive play.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: Then you, of course, and once who took over for Kyla Murray, Kyla Murray had the concussion.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: early on in the game once came in through three touchdown passes Minnesota just had a good game overall obviously just started peppering Justin Jefferson shocking it ended up working Kyler likely going to miss one week that's typically the case with quarterbacks in their concussions so once probably more so one week filling if you're a super flex guy at QB2 they do play the Chicago Bears though who just let up fucking 360 and three touchdowns two Bryce young so I don't know that you could find a more
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: appetizing matchup.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, lock is probably a little more appealing because of the long-term play, but you know, if both of them are available, and let's say you have Kyla Murray.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: So you're expecting a one-week absence.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: You lean one way or the other in terms of like who you'd play this upcoming week, when Strulock, you have interest in either of these guys.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's so easily Carson Wentz.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, how do you not think that this could very well be a track meet between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings?
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's like NFC North, divisional football and all those kinds of narratives, but the Bears defense looks horrific.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: The offense is liable to put up 35 plus points in any single week.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: I would be leaning on Wentz.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: We know that it's an established group of weapons, Kevin O'Connell, obviously trust Carson Wentz to sling the rock.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's a really, really strong matchup.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I would be leaning into that as opposed to what we know is a run heavy offense in the Seattle Seahawks, a lesser group of weapons, top 5, one of the best receivers in the league, but definitely a lesser group of weapons in comparison to the Minnesota Vikings.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: The game environment.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: could be so juicy between Chicago and Minnesota.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of where I would be going.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'll throw out one other quarterback though.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: I know this was kind of like a deep streamer's like super flex conversation.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: But in your 10 and 12 team leagues, Jordan Love is not rostered nearly enough.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: He is out there on a waiver wire and a lot of those kind of shallow or leagues.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: And there was a lot of talk this off season,
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: about the packers putting more on Jordan loves plate and they do exactly that in this one.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: The game script undoubtedly influences what we saw, but he has 42 pass attempts on 46 drop-backs, 62.7% pass rate and the packers ranked sixth and pass rate over expectation before Monday night football.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's only cleared 46 drop-backs once before.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: in his NFL career.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think this offense flows through Jordan love and the past catching weapons.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: We've got a couple of solid matchups coming up as well against the Jets, Falcons, Buccaneers, Chicago Bears.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: So if he's out there, if you're playing in a 10 or 12 man league, he's one that I would have circled on the waivers for sure.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a good point because like the NFC North felt like for a little while for like a two to three year run where it was a kind of like murderous row and they're all good teams still but it was like murderous row from the vantage point of like the defenses were starting to become really really good like green base defense started to look amazing last year and then Mike got her now they don't look good at all this year Chicago is obviously a wasteland there Detroit has no secondary basically Minnesota blitz is at a super high rate would have which like opens up so many big plays to happen there so it's almost like
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: it's good if the NFC North is now under schedule because their offenses are so potent and their defenses are on the bad side of things.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I like the Carson Wentz call.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm probably going to have to look for him on my wire this week to fill in for Sam Donald, unfortunately.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: Let's move over to the receiver position to have a little bit of funnier because I think this is where most people will be spending their fab.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: I see Devon Vale at the top of the list, but there are some real interesting names here, I think.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'll pose the question to you, is there anyone on here that you think has long term staying power?
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think it's easy to talk yourself into like, oh, you know, Caleb Douglas had the good week or any of these players had one good week.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: Some of them have guys like Devon Vales as high as you and I both talked about him last week and we were excited about him for week one.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: The match was great.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: They ran a shit little place.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: You know, not going to be the run out every single week, Jordan Tyson will be back, you know, within the next four or five weeks or whatever, which obviously Muddy's the water there.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: So how good of a long-term play is he don't say being the same thing with sporadic past volume, Mackay Lemon is eventually going to work his way more into the line-up.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: He ran a lot of routes, but like, you know, he's eventually going to start making plays.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Cliff Raymond's obviously Fools goal, but are there any guys that have in your opinion, like long-term staying power that should be prioritized over guys that are maybe one or two week-filains?
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, I really don't think so.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: And that's kind of the conversation that you have to have with yourself on the waiver wire.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: Is this someone that I'm going to burn my fab on or burn the number one waiver wire on?
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you're going to do that, they have to be someone that you think could be a piece of your starting lineup almost weekend and week out.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: The way that I phrased it is, I think most of these guys are roster band aids.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: You're just hoping to get a start or two out of them.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: if things are already in pretty bad shape, whether you had like AJ Brown or someone else who went down Lad Maconkey that you need an immediate start.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's how I view most of these guys.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: Could I be convinced on Caleb Douglas and Pat Bryant?
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we talked about both of them.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: We kind of went back and forth on Douglas slash Chris Bell, versus Pat Bryant on our last show.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Those are really the only two guys that I could be convinced on, but I'm still hesitant on both of them.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: So for the most part, if I'm looking for a waiver wire guy at the wide receiver position, I'm not spending the number one pick up on any of these guys, and I'm probably not even putting in a bid whatsoever, unless I really need starts right away.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you're at the bottom, towards the bottom, you're not burning a valuable claim.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Again, could be convinced on Douglas and Brian.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: Both of them did have some encouraging usage numbers here in this week.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: But it's pretty ugly, man, that there are probably six or seven guys on this list and just on waivers in general that you could convince yourself is a viable starter in the short-term future.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: But when you're considering the long haul, as good as Devon Bayley looked as good as some of these other guys look like, what are you getting?
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: Come week 12.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: What are you getting in the fantasy playoffs?
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's anything special, so I'm not too fired up to get them on my teams.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree with that.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: I was just wrapping up the waiver wire rankings for this week, which will be live on the site by the time you guys watch this.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: If you're a fantasy member on the site, bg.co, and I didn't have a single dude that I marked off as, you know, usable with a number one waiver wire priority.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think for fab suggestion.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: I had a guy that was over maybe like 8% most of them are like the 5 to 8% range.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to kind of like pad the bottom of your roster with these, I think it is worth talking about a couple of the injuries that happened this week.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: retweet his hamstring, it kind of seems like, but reports feel relatively optimistic that it's something that, you know, at worst, maybe he misses a week.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to put anything in concrete or down on Sharpie because these things change like pretty fluidly, but it does seem relatively optimistic.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: If he does miss time though, we did have the rookie Jacobi Lane who fractured his wrist and it seems like he's going to be out for
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: a multitude of weeks, which could open up routes and like just based on how good the Baltimore Ravens offense looked in week one, it's almost like man, someone has to not fail.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, is it Rashad Bateman?
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: He seemed like so non-involved in week one, Mark Andrews saw that handful of targets here and maybe it's just Derek Henry going forward and Lamar Jackson just doing whatever Lamar Jackson wants to do.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Elijah Sarat was a game-day inactive, but because it doesn't seem like Zayf flowers is a long-term issue, like I would say
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like he would probably be the number one waver wire pick up this week, but because he got hurt, is there any interest based on like the fluid injury situation, just the Ravens overall, and anyone in that receiving core?
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: When I was working through waivers, I had bateman peg that was one of those like band-aid emergency options.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: because even if you don't think he's that good at a minimum, if both of these guys both lane and Zafelauer's miss the game, you're looking at pretty damn close to 100% route rate for Rashad Bateman.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: Whether that turns into targets, I can't tell you, I'm not super optimistic about it, but I do think the most likely outcome is just get ready to see 35 Derek Henry Carey's buddy, like that's what we're gonna see about.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: and really high scramble, right?
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think that Sarat is an interesting pickup in the world's deepest league, like you're playing in a 16-man.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: You be shocked at, and you might even be one of them that I've talked to about.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: There's I can't even keep track of it anymore, but I've talked to like a handful of people over the last few weeks that are in 32 team leagues.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not that person.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: I could not subject myself to that, but I see it on the internet all the time.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what are we doing here, guys?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of fire.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: I would never want to be a part of it, but it kind of feels like you make one good sleeper call.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, this is my guy, and you get him in round like 19 or something, and you win the league, because that, you get one good call, right?
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: And you're good to go.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I can't be in a league where I might have to think about starting like Daniel Belinger at my tight end position.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: I just can't, I can't be a part of that.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: No, fair, but that's what I'm like, Rashad Bateman.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like money.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, 30, 30.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Easy pick up this week.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: Easy pick up this week.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I mean, Baltimore should just be noted that they're scheduled the next four weeks super friendly to the passing game, New Orleans, Dallas, Tennessee, and then Atlanta.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: So if there is bad news on Zayne Flowers, I think it's probably worth going out and looking at Bateman, if you're in a very deep league, Elijah Sarat, maybe, but ultimately, a little bit hard to to peg what the situation is going on in the past will offense.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: I will say on that flowers thing, I think I saw a report if I'm not mistaken that they said if it was really close, like a tight game, he could have been able to come back.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: So worthwhile that note, we'll just have to see the practice reports, those will come out on Wednesday and Thursday Friday.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, it's just so hard with these with these types of injuries, just because like the reports come out so infrequently and also, you know, there's so much like adrenaline during the game time that, you know, that shit happens.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: And there always like, oh, I want to play through it in the next couple days, like swells up and it's like,
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, never mind, he's on the IR and I'm like, yeah, what the fuck, you know, so I never really want to get ahead of myself here.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: The other injury I think is worth noting here is Ladmukonki.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: So Ladmukonki took a big hit to, you know, the side of his ribs and they're calling it a chest injury, which sounds like it's a rib injury.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Definitely a possibility that it could suit up in week two.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: The chargers were a bismal and weak one, but they do get it get back.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: you know, get right match against the Raiders in week two.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: Why I think the situation's kind of interesting if he does miss time is that we saw Tray Harris actually match Quentin Johnson in terms of Ralph's run in this one.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Will it lead to much?
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really know, lad was going crazy before he got hurt.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: The reason I think Tray Harris could be a fun pickup is because if Tray Harris suits up, while lad is out, and Tray Harris has a really good game and he becomes like a guy who's targeted to a high degree there.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a world where he could start eating into Quentin Johnson's role.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was like an imaginary theoretical kind of like talking point throughout the summer.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think it was realistic unless one of these guys got hurt.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's a small path, but I do think there's a path towards tryhars filling in for lad this week, having good game and then being like, hmm, when lad is back, maybe he was like good enough where he fits the system a little bit better than Quentin Johnson does.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that Trey Harris is role in this one was really encouraging like you said matches Quinn Johnson and Route 74.3 so basically a full-time player then post a 22.2% target share.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: So that was awesome to see if you like Trey Harris and he had a pretty fun prospect profile as well.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: That was someone that I was interested in coming into the season last year, remained interested in him.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: over the course of this off season.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: And we talked about it in the off season, just make Daniel's tendencies to use a fullback, use multiple tight ends.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't seem to cap tray Harris's rivalry.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: And this one obviously, it's impacted by McConkey exiting.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it was in late in the third quarter in which he left.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: So still he posts really strong routes numbers and all that good stuff.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: I had also been exploring the theory and workshopping the take about Tray Harris potentially coming for Quentin Johnston.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that is very much alive now.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: I had Maconkey Man, he got eliminated.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: He just straight up got eliminated.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: That was ugly.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I am very interested in Tray Harris should lad Maconkey miss any time.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be pretty surprised if he doesn't.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: the chargers get the raiders and the bills over the next two weeks, both of which can be exploitable matchups for fantasy football.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Raiders defense looks fine in week one, but they were playing the Miami Dolphins expecting the chargers to have their way with the Raiders defense in week two.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I would be interested in tray Harris, no doubt about it because he's a young, potentially ascending player who again had a fun prospect profile.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm going to throw darts on the waver wire, it's more likely to be one of those guys where there's some level of uncertainty.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: We just don't know how high level their talent actually is as opposed to one of those veteran routs base bets.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, now even moving backwards, there are a few more injuries that I think are like noticeable and probably we're talking about and those were the Wednesday and Thursday night games where AJ Brown obviously suffered the high ankle sprain behind him.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: It was a mixture of Romeo Dobbs not doing anything but pop Douglas running a lot of routes and Matt Collins kind of looking like the go to the go to guy.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: He was third in snaps and routes run behind Dobbs and Douglas.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: But I do expect Collins to have a bigger role going forward while AJ Brown is out and like occupying more of that possession role.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: Over all though, it's just one of those offenses that seems like they're going to spread the ball around a lot and it's really difficult to tell like who's going to have a decent game attached to Drake man, I think they all have pretty low, you know, weekly floors.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: Romo Dobbs, you just kind of think you should continue to follow the money and think he'll probably lead the team in targets, but I can't say that confidently after Wednesday night.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then Sanford Cisco, we had tripling go out high ankle sprain.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to miss a decent amount of time.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: Christian Kirk's already on the IR.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans looked phenomenal and then you have Debo Samuel look pretty good too and he kind of just fit right back into that role and we had talked about this a little bit in the summer where like Debo felt a little bit like maybe this year's keen and Allen where it's like he probably doesn't really need to be that good to just go back into his old role and have plays kind of scheme up for him and easy lay up targets and it worked out how long that's going to sustain.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: I have no idea behind him it was like the Marcus Robinson ran a lot of routes and had a big play there.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't necessarily have any interest in the Marcus Robinson, but.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm curious if, at of all those names, New England San Francisco based on the injuries and stuff, there's any one of interest to you.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: Not really, it's kind of unfortunate, like you'd like to be confident, starting Romeo Dobbs.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, not a waiver wire pickup.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think I can get their pop Douglas.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: He runs over 80% of his routes out of the slot in this one.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: I wrote him up in my waiver wire article.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: You could see him peepy our scamming his way to a relevant week.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: Is that the type of bet you want to make?
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: Not unless I'm in an incredibly dire situation.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: The mark is Robinson runs 81% of the second half routes.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: After stribling Lee's the game.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: So he should be in line for a voluminous role from a routes perspective.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: Whether or not he's able to earn targets alongside Mike Evans alongside the Bos Samuel, Christian McCaffrey George Kittle.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like that bet.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: You're really just hoping you'd think a touchdown out of a high scoring offense.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think there are better bets to make.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: So now that there's just not too much there.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: There's there's no one younger exciting.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: There's no one who's a high level target earner or just like kind of the player archetype that we're looking to target for fantasy relevance.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: So there's there's options to be had out there if you find yourself desperate or if you're in a deep league.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: But generally speaking, it's just that there's names.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: There are names on a list and that's about it.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think Mac Collins would actually be my favorite of the group.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think he had a similar role, like last year, and it just, you know, popped every once in a while.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: No more case on Boote.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know how long AJ Brown's going to be out for it.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: And they do have some tough matchups coming up.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's Pittsburgh, then at Jacksonville, then at Buffalo.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: But if AJ Brown misses extended time, like there's a point in their schedule, where they hit Las Vegas at home, the jets at home, Chicago, Miami.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a four week stretch where it's just like,
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: lay up.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's going back to Drake made the schedule from from 2025 again and there's going to be games to be had there.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: So Matt Collins, I think is the most interesting of the group, but not overly optimistic, obviously, about anyone there just the consistency in the passing game in terms of how they spread the targets around.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to do a quick like brief of the guys on the waiver here.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: And you kind of just tell me if you agree, disagree, there's anyone that kind of like stands out.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: you here.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: I know we were both high in VLA.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: That team just ran a shitload of snap shitload of plays.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think people are just going to dive too much into the numbers.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's the same thing as it was pre game.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: He's the widest you were to going to run a shitload loader routes in a team that's just going to pass a while a lot and run a lot of plays.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: Sure when they have tougher matchups.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have games like this, but I think he's a super viable flexish play because of how often he's going to be on the field and how many plays are going to run Caleb Douglas really strong game right away, ran almost all the routes, Chris Bell ran about 50% of the routes, but I expect that to start to rise a little bit more as he gets healthier and healthier returning from the ACL tier.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: So Caleb, I think he's someone that you should definitely throw in the back your waiver wire.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_01]: I would hold on to Chris Bell if you have them and I'd
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think if you're in a deep league and he's available there, and you have kind of like a luxury ad, Chris Bell is another dude that I would pile on suit because it's clear that the targets are just there to be had for everybody.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: Pat Bryant looked great last night.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: First half didn't do much in the second half because the Broncos were just terrible.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: But again, this feels like an offense where the ball is gonna be spread around so much.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: There were six different players that had between,
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: three and six targets.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how many games we're going to have of like water or sunset and seeing eight nine or ten targets.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't really feel like an offense.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to target in on on one or two guys.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: And that's kind of my concern with Brian feels like a very high in handcuffed to have if satin or water would go down would put them at the end of my bench.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's two guys that are like the same to me.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: They're in the tier where someone just dropped Najihar's live in my league right now.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see that he picks him up right
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: Atonite Mitchell and Don Tavian Wix.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: They're like brothers.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: They do the same shit on the field.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: They're very fun.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: They're very explosive.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: Very good separators.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: We'll just drop passes.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: They shouldn't be dropping.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: We'll just do dumb shit.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: But they have games like they did on Sunday where Don Tavian Wix really big play.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: Atonite Mitchell, three for 60.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: Both of them running all the routes.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: Both in the wide receiver too is behind legitimate wide receiver ones.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: I rank it at an eye over Don Tavian Wix.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see it differently?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have any interest in either of these guys?
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, I rank it at night over Don Tavion Wix.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was testing.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: I was there.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about it last week.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: We don't need to rehash all these talking points.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: Both of us were excited about Ad9 Mitchell and he also catches a long ball his.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: I was at three for 60.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: One of them was a 40 yard reception.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: So he torches the Titans defense.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: it's not like an incredible outing for what you want to see out of AdNy Mitchell, but still it's enough to keep you interested.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: Dantevian Wix, like it's another like route-based bet on a player that some folks think is exciting.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: I had been excited about him in the past.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: pulled on that, but he runs 81% of the route, straws 16% of the target.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: So if you think Dantavian Wix is talented, and if you think that this offense can be one that supports and sustains multiple wide receivers, I'd be comfortable making the bet on Dantavian Wix because we know that the role in the snaps are gonna be there, at least for the time being unless McIleman comes and eats his lunch.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: I will note, I did have a couple things on Caleb Douglas, just some fun on Caleb Douglas.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: And like your favorite weekly, uh, your favorite week segment.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, gotta gotta keep people sane about the Miami Dolphins wide receivers.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_00]: It was just insane how how bad the Miami Dolphins offense was like, they are who they thought we thought they were.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was terrible.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: They only get off 50 plays, despite trailing the entire game.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: You roughly expect 60 plays per game out of an NFL offense.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then Leak Willis has 37 dropbacks.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: He only turns that into 27 pass attempts.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: He has five scrambles and five sacks, like 27 pass attempts.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's terrible.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's not able to sustain virtually anyone.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: The bet here is that Caleb Douglas has to consolidate targets to such a significant degree, and then also be pretty good at the game of football as well.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: To be a weekend and week out like fantasy relevant player, the Caleb Douglas good at football, it looked pretty good in week one.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think the jury still out on this one.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I remain skeptical of his ability to be a high-level target earner alongside Malik Washington when Chris Bell gets ramped up, Devon HN isn't going to have four targets every single game, Greg Dolceich is basically invisible on this one.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I just think it's such a thin bet given this offensive environment.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: I hate to be the guy that has to dunk on and talk down on the new fun rookie who looks like he could be the widest silver one.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: But what are you getting out of the wide receiver one A in Miami?
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think he can be the clear cut obvious wide receiver one.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, it's really hard for me, man.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's really hard for me.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: I could see your struggling bro.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: This is the time of the week to get it out.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: My atmosphere often just sounds like four or five super stars to me.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: So one, one I want to be heavily invested into.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: One last name that I want to bring up for wide receivers is Antonio Williams.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: He was the third round pick for Washington out of Clemson.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know for all intents and purposes kind of ball that week one four for 60-ish score to touch down here The underlying metrics are going to be very I don't want to say overexaggerated because they're real He didn't run a lot of snaps, but he didn't run a lot of routes.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't play on a lot of snaps He was very clearly behind Terry Diggs and even the army Brown.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: However, I think a performance like this likely warrants a pretty big uptick in snaps And I think the really important note here is that jiggy a cocko ended up leaving this game with a hamstring
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know the severity of it.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: It could just be one of those things where it's not serious, but they didn't want to put them back in the game, whatever.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: But typically hamstring strains are one, two, three-week injuries.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the part of the field where Antonio Williams will kind of run his routes over the middle of that area.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: So honestly, predictably like Washington's passing game was going to struggle in this one.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_01]: Terry McClellan was predictably going to struggle against Queen John Mitchell.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not surprised at
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of the targets ended up going to like the middle of the field area with digs and Antonio Williams, but I do think he was a guy I like coming out of Clemson as soon as digsign there, I was kind of like, I don't really want a part of this anymore because he, you know, he falls back to the clear wide receiver three if that and, you know, clearly he wasn't even the wide receiver three in week one, but I do think performance like this warrants something like, okay, you know what, let's take a look at this guy, does he have a larger role in our offense going forward?
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: They play Dallas in week two, definitely could be some more passing success from this offense.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: If Jiggy misses, I do like the optionality of having Antony Williams on your bench to see if he's a guy that can be like a rookie stepping into a pretty formable role if this Washington offense can get their shit together because they did look sloppy in week one.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: We had the exact same takeaway on this one.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: It was only 28.9% of the routes for Antonio Williams in this one, but the play weren't more playing time for him.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think he can play his way into a larger role.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: Really gritty note on this one.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: Traylon Berks was a healthy scratch.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: in this game.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: Not a player that we're interested whatsoever.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's like flashed a little bit here and there since joining the commanders, but that was honestly pretty surprising because we thought he was going to be their like nominal Y deceiver to someone who was a hurdle and a blocker to routes for some of these other guys.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: But him not being out there, him being a healthy scratch, it opens the door for
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: more players to get routes, namely Antonio Williams.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: So that was interesting to say the least to me.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: I was not expecting to see that.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_00]: I was expecting to see Trelemberg's running his fair share routes.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: This appointingly so, but still that is worthwhile.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: I do think Antonio Williams is an interesting name to keep an eye on.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm probably not picking him up this week in most leagues, but he is definitely one that I have flagged as someone to keep an eye on for a potential updick in usage because I did like Antonio Williams coming out of college.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: So he is one to keep an eye on for sure.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: 100%.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: Let's move over to the tight end position.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: No one that really like jumps off the page for me here.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_01]: There's guys that obviously had good weeks.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: Most of these guys who are good are very highly owned already, so you're not going to be able to get them.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Kaseki ends up having a big week, but that's kind of at the detriment of Higgins and Jamar Chase having a bad week, and we're never really going to see that happen in duality on a week, tweak basis and Kaseki's not like a full-time player there.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: He's just kind of a wide receiver running routes, and
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: You know, in theory, that works as the Y33, but that was also what it was supposed to be last year, all of last year and it never really came to fruition, maybe no a fan not being any, not being there anymore actually makes a difference for him, but I'm likely not falling for Mike Asikki or Evan Ingram, Kenyan Sadik, I guess, you know, you could talk me into the only guy that I think I would like really bat an eye at would be Michael Mayer if Brock Bowers continues to be out.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think Michael Michael Mayer is like a decent fill in tight end where you can throw
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, Jake Ferguson tier, Donald Schultz tier, where it's like not a crazy good player, but in a good matchup, you know, in the right circumstances and he is one of their top pass catchers right now because Brock Bowers is out.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think he has a pretty high floor and if he gets a touchdown, he's going to give you, you know, 15 points or something like that.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: The other guys, do you believe in any of the, the plays from week one?
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: Do you believe any of these guys have like long-term upside throughout the course of the year?
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: We're not doing the Micah sickie thing, man.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: We're not doing the Micah sickie thing.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: It was no worthy.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: He like probably belongs on waver wire lists, but we have seen this guy just take the rug out from under us time and time again.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was last year.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_00]: He had like an 18 point game and then followed it up with two points.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: We know exactly what the situation is here.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, mayor is definitely a good shout.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like you think that given the powers injury, he'd be rostered in like 65, 70% of leagues, that seems not to be the case on both ESPN and sleeper.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: Go pick them up.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: You summed it up pretty well.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: Very much just a volume driven bet, especially for PPR leagues, quality bet, team high seven targets in week one.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing flashy, nothing crazy, but the bar is so solo at Titan that six targets, seven targets can get the job done while you're sorting things out.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: I do think Kenyan Sadik is worth a stash if you kind of waited at the Titan position.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: He was one of my favorite like late round like high upside dart throws at Titan over the course of the off season and like just during drafts.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: And it was encouraging to just see him, he got that end around.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't pop necessarily, but this is a talent that I want to buy into.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: If I don't have a great situation at Titan, I'd stash him at the end of my bench and just kind of evaluate for the next couple of weeks.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: See if he can grow into a larger role, challenge for targets, and all that good stuff.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know who actually now them look at my rankings like I'm semi interested in and I didn't think I would come across anyone on this team that I'd want to shout out.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: David and Joku kind of took the starting role there for L.A. and had a really nice receiving game ran the most routes and Charlie Cole are ran the second most routes above or on the Gatson in this one and Charlie Cole are committed zero target so.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like in Joker who's going to be a real part of this passing game, how consistent that is.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really know.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: If lad misses, again, like this could be kind of an uptick in targets for a guy like David and Joker, and I wouldn't be surprised to be ends up cementing himself as like the go-to tight end in this offense.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: In Joker was like pretty damn good for the last five years and all of a sudden, just got kind of ice by Harold Fanon, didn't really fit in the Cleveland offense anymore, and maybe that's like enough of a tell-tale sign, but it's not like he's like super old.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's relatively athletic enough, and he's a good enough veteran
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: tight end and we've seen tight ends in this offense like Jared Cook and all of them are not kind of coming to mind But like Herbert had usable tight ends in fantasy throughout the years none of them end up like popping for massive Massive seasons or anything like that, but they're guys that I think have been usable in their position So David and Joke, I want to shout out and I'm keep my eye on Darren Waller.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't forget about Darren Waller out there in Caroline I liked what he did in my ameless year He seems to either be like on the football field catching touchdowns or just like
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: nowhere to be found.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel like he practices much or like plays with any of the teams, but again, he gets on the field, runs a lot of routes, catches touchdowns, one got called back in this one.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: Keep my eye on the wall or situation, but I do, I do like in joke a little bit.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: It, how do you forget about Will Disney's running with the charges a couple of years back?
- 33:51[SPEAKER_00]: There I go.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: I like the the and joke who stuff it's interesting.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: I I was pretty shocked to see like him lead this room and routes run by like a pretty significant margin.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: So that was interesting to say the least, but basically unless you're a full-time player, I'm not going to be all that interested with guys of this talent level and joke who 48.6% of the routes like if you're going to have that sort of route rate, you got to be a damn special talent like we were doing it with Dalton Kincade.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: Over the last couple years, you is very much a part-time player, but we want to invest in the offense and the talent that is concave.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: In Joku, I don't think of him that highly individually, the situation could very well be fluid though if he's starting to pop as a 70% route rate guy.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_00]: I do think that he becomes interesting.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: Darren Waller, he's a fun one man.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: He runs like 11 routes a game, but then they get into the red zone and I'm like, is this guy Jimmy Graham, like, he's just getting up and mossing people in the back of the end zone right on the sidelines.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, weekend and week out.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: So that's another one.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oftentimes at tight ends, you're just in a spot where you want to play the touchdown lottery and Waller is a pretty solid bet for that touchdown lottery bet.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: Especially if the Panthers have a pretty solid match up in any given week.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that that's the toughest part about this is like I like waller, but I'm just like not really about to bet on the Carolina passing game, especially when you already have poker and tech there, so that that's what makes us bullet hard to buy.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think for the in joke who situation, I think it is very fluid like you have so many new parts here like Charlie Colars brand new in joke who's brand new the offensive system and coordinator of brand new and that's why it's like okay.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're probably feeling things out right now, but I can see a world where he jumps from 48% of the routes up to like 60% next week and then 68% of the week after that.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then everybody's kind of jumping on it while it's, you know, available to them at that point.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like, okay, if you're in a tight in premium, I think now would be a good time to get ahead of that trend, especially when they're trying to like fix it out there in LA.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: So, Joe could be the last one on my list here.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: Other than that, I think we covered all the skill position players for defense, you know, the defense of rankings will be up on the waiver wire rankings here.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you guys stream my typical rule of thumb is just pick a team, you know, for tie breakers, pick a team that's favored to win their game.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: The bigger this bread, the better playing at home is always a plus playing against a young inexperienced turnover prone quarterback is also obviously very, very good.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: I like high-over-unders because it means more passing, but the higher the over-under, the bigger the spread that we want to see in that game, but leads to drop-ax, leads to interceptions, leads to sacks, leads to all those kind of things.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we could probably wrap up there unless you have any final words on defenses, or just in general for the week.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: And next set, good things about Emma Johnson this week.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: We're back.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's moved very far up my 20-27 rankings.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: Thank God.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: Thank God.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: KW looked fucking awesome last night.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: I am, I was so fired up, I mean, if you follow me on Twitter, I was just shit posting Kenneth Walker stuff.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: It was so awesome.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: But on the defense, just go pick up the buck and ears, they're playing to Sean Watson, Todd Bowles.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to blitz 97 times.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_00]: Just go get the bucks.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: It'll be fun if you can get them.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we'll wrap it up there.
