- 0:00Speaker 1: Football at Four is powered by the Inside the Birds podcast,
- 0:02Speaker 1: and it is brought to you by the Fanatic Sportsbook
- 0:05Speaker 1: at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City. And, of course,
- 0:08Speaker 1: Jeff Mosher is here on a– actually, not of course.
- 0:11Speaker 1: He doesn't usually do the Friday. Andrew was in the
- 0:14Speaker 1: locker room today with Nick Sirianni speaking. He went a
- 0:18Speaker 1: little long today. So Mosher is pinch-hitting for Andrew, who
- 0:21Speaker 1: was pinch-hitting for Adam, who is now here. So Jeff Mosher,
- 0:24Speaker 1: the pinch-hitter extraordinaire. Rusty Staub over here stepping in. But
- 0:29Speaker 1: this is an interesting Friday. Yesterday, that news, it kind
- 0:33Speaker 1: of rocked everybody. What do we kind of feel and
- 0:35Speaker 1: now know? Nick didn't want to talk about it, but
- 0:38Speaker 1: it kind of feels like a very interesting moment for
- 0:41Speaker 1: this Eagles organization with where this season is and now
- 0:44Speaker 1: this news.
- 0:45Speaker 2: For sure it is, Mike. And I think the biggest
- 0:47Speaker 2: thing to take away is that.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Although a superficial– clot is not maybe as severe or
- 0:58Speaker 3: intense or emergent, I guess, emergency as, say, a pulmonary embolism,
- 1:03Speaker 3: which would be like a normal blood clot that you
- 1:05Speaker 3: might get anywhere, especially bad in your lungs, right?
- 1:08Speaker 2: The fact that it moved.
- 1:09Speaker 3: See, the Eagles said it moved at some point after,
- 1:13Speaker 3: you know, when they gave him imaging after the game.
- 1:17Speaker 3: So the game they thought was good because it allowed
- 1:20Speaker 3: him to be mobile.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Apparently it's better if you're moving around. for the clot.
- 1:25Speaker 3: It's bad if you're sitting in an environment where you're
- 1:28Speaker 3: not moving at all. And of course, they had to
- 1:30Speaker 3: fly back on a long flight. So at some point,
- 1:35Speaker 3: the clot moved. And that's what makes it severe. And
- 1:38Speaker 3: that's all the information we have. And they don't have
- 1:40Speaker 3: to share any other information with us other than that.
- 1:43Speaker 3: But that to me makes this a very I don't
- 1:47Speaker 3: want to say perilous situation, but a sticky situation for
- 1:50Speaker 3: both Jalen Hurts and the team. We'll just have to
- 1:53Speaker 3: see going forward what the treatment is going to require
- 1:57Speaker 3: because if it's blood thinners, then he could be out
- 2:01Speaker 3: for quite a long time.
- 2:02Speaker 1: We had Dr. David Chow on yesterday. He did say
- 2:07Speaker 1: he liked the timeline that the Eagles, he feels like
- 2:10Speaker 1: because of the way that they explained it, the timeline,
- 2:13Speaker 1: it doesn't feel like they mishandled this in any way.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I mean, people are like, how the heck did the
- 2:17Speaker 1: guy play? I asked him about flying, and he said, listen,
- 2:20Speaker 1: he's not flying next to grandma, needing to go to
- 2:22Speaker 1: the bathroom, that that should have been okay. But you're right,
- 2:26Speaker 1: if you go in the blood thinners, we talked about
- 2:28Speaker 1: Victor Wimbeyama, he had a blood clot in his calf,
- 2:30Speaker 1: he missed five months of the season. You know, that
- 2:34Speaker 1: would be.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Didn't Chris Bosh also have this, and then his career.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Wound up ending, right?
- 2:39Speaker 1: If I'm not mistaken. There has been... Yeah, I think
- 2:41Speaker 1: you're right on the Chris Bosh thing. Obviously, Wheeler had
- 2:44Speaker 1: it in his shoulder. He had to get surgery, and
- 2:46Speaker 1: he missed the whole season and parts of this year.
- 2:49Speaker 1: So you're right about has that thing moved. That will
- 2:54Speaker 1: be a big thing. I guess we won't know. But
- 2:58Speaker 1: whatever it is, it feels like the season is kind
- 3:00Speaker 1: of teetering right now, and it almost has that feeling
- 3:02Speaker 1: of anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Right.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I mean, it's a terrible thing. We all hope for
- 3:09Speaker 3: the best for Jalen. I mean, this is more about
- 3:10Speaker 3: life than football. But from a football.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Standpoint, because that's what we do, yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I mean, not only– there's just so many– first of all,
- 3:19Speaker 3: they're banged up everywhere else, too. They're trying to stay afloat,
- 3:23Speaker 3: and they're trying to make progress with their injuries, not regress.
- 3:26Speaker 3: But this is clearly, when you lose your starting quarterback,
- 3:29Speaker 3: a regression in that standpoint. And then, you know, it
- 3:32Speaker 3: looks sort of– bad now even though at the time
- 3:37Speaker 3: I didn't think it was a bad move but obviously
- 3:39Speaker 3: releasing Andy Dalton had ramifications because if you had him
- 3:44Speaker 3: still on the roster as your number three even if
- 3:47Speaker 3: you just you have a guy who's capable but like
- 3:52Speaker 3: if McKee got hurt then Dalton could go in so
- 3:55Speaker 3: now you've got a starting quarterback in Tanner McKee and
- 3:58Speaker 3: if he gets hurt.
- 4:01Speaker 2: What are you doing? You're going to Cole Payton? I'm
- 4:03Speaker 2: just telling everybody.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Now They did pick up Joe Milton today, but I
- 4:07Speaker 1: can't imagine.
- 4:08Speaker 3: And that's the problem is they probably wanted to get
- 4:11Speaker 3: back Dalton. He's obviously not going to resign. Dalton at
- 4:15Speaker 3: least would have known the system. You wanted to get
- 4:18Speaker 3: somebody who could at least know the system, even if
- 4:20Speaker 3: it wasn't Dalton. Joe Milton has played for the Patriots
- 4:23Speaker 3: under Josh McDaniels, and he's played for the Cowboys under
- 4:25Speaker 3: Brian Schottenheimer. This is not exactly the system that the
- 4:29Speaker 3: Eagles are running that would be a parallel to those
- 4:32Speaker 3: other two.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Real quick. Jeff Mosher is with us. The breaking news,
- 4:37Speaker 1: the injury report is out. Saquon Barkley will not play
- 4:40Speaker 1: in the game. He has been ruled out. Jalix Hunt
- 4:43Speaker 1: will not play. Jalen Hurts, obviously. Michael Carter will not play,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and Will Shipley is out. Also doubtful is A.J. Epinesa.
- 4:52Speaker 1: You still have some questionable guys, but I guess the
- 4:54Speaker 1: one good thing here, Jeff, is that I do not
- 4:58Speaker 1: see a designation for Devontae Smith.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he's there. Oh, you're right, no game designation. Yeah,
- 5:05Speaker 2: he was a full participant. That's great.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Right, no designation. Limited for Landon Dickerson and Drew Kendall.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So getting Smith back would be a big help. Losing Barkley.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I guess you're going with Damian Pierce again this week,
- 5:18Speaker 1: Carson Steele. And I would ask you the question about
- 5:20Speaker 1: Carson Steele that I think we talked about last week
- 5:23Speaker 1: a little bit is– The fact that he was such
- 5:26Speaker 1: a big receiver in the passing game in the preseason,
- 5:29Speaker 1: does Tanner McKee allow that to be a factor? Does
- 5:32Speaker 1: he dump off a little bit more?
- 5:34Speaker 3: I mean, I absolutely, if you're asking if Carson Steele
- 5:37Speaker 3: should see the light of day, I would agree with you.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 5:41Speaker 3: You cannot give 25 carries to Damian Pierce. He's not explosive.
- 5:48Speaker 3: He's a grinder, and he really doesn't fit an outside
- 5:51Speaker 3: zone scheme. He fits an inside zone scheme. Carson Steele
- 5:54Speaker 3: can catch the ball, can give you a little bit
- 5:56Speaker 3: more juice. It was kind of strange that they signed
- 5:59Speaker 3: him to the 53 and didn't play him at all
- 6:01Speaker 3: against the Jags.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I get it.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Shipley at least started the game, but once he went out,
- 6:06Speaker 3: I would have thought there would have been a little
- 6:08Speaker 3: bit of a rotation there. It was not the case,
- 6:12Speaker 3: especially with your quarterback not running.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I think it would be malpractice.
- 6:16Speaker 3: And by the way, me saying this, and I'm sure
- 6:18Speaker 3: you'd agree, this doesn't mean that we think the difference
- 6:20Speaker 3: between winning and losing is Carson Steele. I'm not trying
- 6:24Speaker 3: to pump up Carson Steele at all. What I'm just
- 6:26Speaker 3: saying is you're looking for some guy who can maybe
- 6:30Speaker 3: make a little bit happen on a play, and Carson
- 6:32Speaker 3: Steele can do that.
- 6:34Speaker 1: No, you're right. Can they do something with the offense
- 6:37Speaker 1: where they're struggling? The offensive line is a struggle buss.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Something that's quick and fast, just, hey, dump it to you,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you go and run. It's something that Hurts just either
- 6:47Speaker 1: doesn't want to do or they don't ask him to do.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yeah, very much so.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Which one is it?
- 6:53Speaker 2: Oh, go ahead.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Is it doesn't want to do or they don't ask
- 6:57Speaker 1: him to do? Which one is it, A or B?
- 6:59Speaker 3: I mean, are we talking about over the long haul
- 7:04Speaker 3: or just last week? Because the injury, the calf, may
- 7:06Speaker 3: have been an issue about why he wasn't running.
- 7:10Speaker 1: No, no, no. I'm saying about dumping it off to
- 7:12Speaker 1: the running back. It just seems like it's either something
- 7:15Speaker 1: that he doesn't want to do or they don't ask
- 7:17Speaker 1: him to do.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Yes and yes. There's always an outlet. There's always a
- 7:23Speaker 3: running back if he's not in for pass protection.
- 7:26Speaker 2: He's running a route.
- 7:27Speaker 3: He's either in the flat or actually running a receiver route.
- 7:31Speaker 3: A lot of that is on just the design of
- 7:33Speaker 3: the offense and where Jalen Hurts wants to go with
- 7:35Speaker 3: the ball.
- 7:37Speaker 1: That would be one thing. I think You know, there
- 7:40Speaker 1: was this small conglomerate of people that would like to
- 7:43Speaker 1: see a quarterback like McKee. Maybe not in the previous offense,
- 7:48Speaker 1: but what about in a more West Coast offense? Thoughts there?
- 7:53Speaker 3: I mean, theoretically, what the West Coast offense should do
- 7:58Speaker 3: for McKee caters to his strengths as far as getting
- 8:00Speaker 3: the ball out quickly, open outlets, some pitch and catch. But,
- 8:05Speaker 3: you know, that doesn't mean it's going to definitely do
- 8:07Speaker 3: that and that the quarterback's going to take to it.
- 8:09Speaker 3: So it's still a new offense for him. He had
- 8:11Speaker 3: some rough points during the preseason. It's been a couple
- 8:14Speaker 3: months since, so hopefully he's a little more– I would
- 8:18Speaker 3: like to say he's a little more ingratiated with the offense,
- 8:20Speaker 3: but you've got to remember Andy Dalton was the number
- 8:22Speaker 3: two for the first few weeks, so that meant that
- 8:25Speaker 3: he was probably running the scout. Like, I don't know
- 8:27Speaker 3: how much work with the actual offense that McKee was
- 8:30Speaker 3: getting at the time outside of individual– developmental periods after.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Practice what were you going to ask me so i.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Have a real issue and maybe it's just me because
- 8:41Speaker 3: i have bad eyes but the eagles report that they
- 8:44Speaker 3: put on on social media the o for out and
- 8:47Speaker 3: the d for doubtful almost look exactly the same so
- 8:50Speaker 3: i have to like really zoom in to tell if
- 8:52Speaker 3: a guy is out or doubtful and even the q
- 8:54Speaker 3: looks a little bit like an o so sometimes i
- 8:57Speaker 3: think a guy is out when he's questionable and vice
- 8:59Speaker 3: versa do you have that issue too or.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Is it just me Well, I'm reading the email that
- 9:03Speaker 1: they sent.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Ah, you're smart.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Yeah, if you look at the one that they put
- 9:07Speaker 3: out on their socials, it's really, really tough to tell.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Okay, I'm looking at it now.
- 9:12Speaker 2: It looks like the first six guys are out.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the O and the D, well.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Look at Epinesa and look at Hunt. Like, I thought
- 9:20Speaker 2: that was the same letter. I just thought six guys
- 9:23Speaker 2: are out.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Epinesa, yes, is the D, and Hunt is an O.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I feel like I'm at the eye doctor, and I
- 9:29Speaker 3: got a chart, and I got to cover one eye.
- 9:31Speaker 1: And read it. Well, the weird part is that they
- 9:33Speaker 1: put Epinesa out of order.
- 9:37Speaker 2: He's between all the out guys, right?
- 9:39Speaker 1: Right. Like, they put two guys that are out, Barkley
- 9:41Speaker 1: and Carter, then Epinesa, who's doubtful, and then Hunt, who's out, Hurts,
- 9:45Speaker 1: who's out. So why would they stick him in there
- 9:48Speaker 1: with the out guys? I see what you're saying.
- 9:50Speaker 2: They do it in alphabetical. No, they don't do it
- 9:51Speaker 2: in alphabetical.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I don't understand.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I just don't get it.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Doesn't make any sense. I agree. But out is Barkley,
- 9:58Speaker 1: Michael Carter, J. Lickson, Hertz, and Shipley. I guess the
- 10:04Speaker 1: thought process was, what's the deal with Grenard? He was
- 10:07Speaker 1: a full participant. I guess he's going to try again
- 10:11Speaker 1: to go on Sunday.
- 10:14Speaker 3: He said he was going to warm it up. I
- 10:15Speaker 3: believe he or someone else said he was going to
- 10:17Speaker 3: warm it up before the game like he did with
- 10:19Speaker 3: London and see if he's good to go. So I
- 10:23Speaker 3: would tell you then, if that's the case, that's already
- 10:27Speaker 3: not the greatest sign in the world because we're talking
- 10:29Speaker 3: about a guy who's played 50 snaps this year, missed
- 10:33Speaker 3: six weeks. before he could play those 50 snaps, missed
- 10:37Speaker 3: another week after, and then missed several weeks, if not,
- 10:41Speaker 3: I'm sorry, months last year after getting injured. So you're
- 10:45Speaker 3: talking about a guy who's not played or practiced a
- 10:47Speaker 3: whole lot of football since around this time last year.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Right, and Epinesa looks like he might not play, and
- 10:54Speaker 1: Hunt is out. So what does that mean for that
- 10:57Speaker 1: position on Sunday?
- 11:00Speaker 3: I guess we're going to see a lot of Nolan
- 11:01Speaker 3: Smith and Arnold Evocati. I mean, it's not like there's
- 11:04Speaker 3: a whole lot left in the tank. I think they'll
- 11:07Speaker 3: continue to use Zach Bond as a rusher in their
- 11:11Speaker 3: blitz packages, as a fifth rusher, or as the fourth
- 11:15Speaker 3: rusher in a four-man sim pressure, which we've talked about
- 11:18Speaker 3: a lot, where you blitz a linebacker but you drop
- 11:21Speaker 3: an edge player. He was that guy against the Jaguars,
- 11:24Speaker 3: and I imagine he'll continue to be against the Panthers.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Offensive line jeff uh looks like kendall questionable also landon
- 11:32Speaker 1: dickerson it looks like you're going to go with the
- 11:34Speaker 1: same line as you did last week how does that
- 11:36Speaker 1: affect having tanner mckee play that position.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Well um if they play it as.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Poorly if they play it as poorly as they did
- 11:45Speaker 1: a week ago yeah i.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Mean look it's it's going to be a real curiosity
- 11:49Speaker 3: to see if landon dickerson who you said is questionable
- 11:53Speaker 3: right i'm looking at it in the same time you
- 11:54Speaker 3: are uh Limited but questionable. I kind of feel like
- 11:59Speaker 3: I don't know. So we'll see how much that helps
- 12:02Speaker 3: if he's able to play. And they also list Drew
- 12:05Speaker 3: Kendall as questionable and limited. Usually if you're limited on Friday, Mike,
- 12:10Speaker 3: you don't play. That's just I'm not saying these guys
- 12:12Speaker 3: aren't going to play.
- 12:13Speaker 2: But I'm saying limited on the last practice.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Of the week often is a. That, to me, is
- 12:18Speaker 3: the old doubtful, which they got rid of. So we'll
- 12:21Speaker 3: have to see. It might as well– it could be–
- 12:24Speaker 3: you might be seeing Majors, Lampkin, and all those guys
- 12:26Speaker 3: back in there again.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Damian Pierce. I was talking to Mike K. earlier. You
- 12:32Speaker 1: remember Mike used to cover the Eagles. He's now down
- 12:34Speaker 1: in Carolina. And, you know, he said, you know, yeah,
- 12:36Speaker 1: you can run the ball. I said, yeah, but not
- 12:38Speaker 1: with this offensive line.
- 12:40Speaker 2: No, I mean, the Eagles haven't run the ball.
- 12:41Speaker 3: We have a joke in our Inside the Birds pregame show, Mike,
- 12:44Speaker 3: where I blame Kaplan for this because– Every week, going
- 12:48Speaker 3: back to the start of last year, the Eagles have
- 12:50Speaker 3: played a team, just like the Panthers this week, that
- 12:52Speaker 3: have injuries in the secondary.
- 12:55Speaker 2: And every week, Cap will be like, this is the
- 12:56Speaker 2: team you come out passing on. You come out passing,
- 12:58Speaker 2: you throw it, you throw it.
- 12:59Speaker 3: And every week we watch the Eagles pass offense just
- 13:02Speaker 3: regress into an immovable object, right? So I don't say
- 13:08Speaker 3: the same thing with the running game now. I don't
- 13:10Speaker 3: believe they can run in anybody until they show it.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Not with this offensive line. I mean, where are you
- 13:14Speaker 1: getting pushed from? It's now. You would hope that, hey,
- 13:18Speaker 1: Tyler Steen, no, I guess Markel Bell, I guess is
- 13:22Speaker 1: more in pass protection. He's better than run blocking right now,
- 13:26Speaker 1: it seems like. And Mailata, for whatever reason, Mailata's never
- 13:29Speaker 1: been a dominant, seemingly run blocker.
- 13:32Speaker 3: I feel like he and Dickerson, at Dickerson's best, when
- 13:36Speaker 3: they combo blocked on a three technique or a five technique,
- 13:39Speaker 3: it was like just a massive amount of humanity. I
- 13:42Speaker 3: do think Mailata, he might not admit this, I think
- 13:44Speaker 3: he's been impacted defensively. somewhat mentally by the guy next
- 13:48Speaker 3: to him either not being very good anymore or just
- 13:51Speaker 3: changing all the time.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Well he said yesterday you know um that uh you
- 13:57Speaker 1: know he's like i might have jumped the gun on
- 13:58Speaker 1: that i mean talking about the other guys and then
- 14:00Speaker 1: the hertz news comes down yeah and it's almost like
- 14:02Speaker 1: you look around jeff and you're the lone soldier left
- 14:06Speaker 1: in the room and you're like all the good times
- 14:07Speaker 1: that we had these guys aren't here anymore it's like
- 14:10Speaker 1: the guy who you know was in college and everybody
- 14:16Speaker 1: graduated in four years except for you. And you're like,
- 14:18Speaker 1: wait a second, I don't have my friends around here anymore.
- 14:21Speaker 1: This isn't as fun as it was. That's almost what
- 14:24Speaker 1: it feels like for him.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I said on the show it reminds me of two memes.
- 14:27Speaker 3: The Fresh Prince final season episode where he walks into
- 14:30Speaker 3: the room and nobody's there. And Reservoir Dogs, right? When
- 14:34Speaker 3: Travolta walks into the room and he's looking around.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Where is everybody? Yeah, that seems to be like my
- 14:41Speaker 1: lot of Um, right now when he looks around that
- 14:44Speaker 1: offensive line room, like, okay, Kelsey bound. Okay. Dickerson is hurt. Uh,
- 14:48Speaker 1: and he's not here. Got rid of. Yeah, it is
- 14:52Speaker 1: gotta be a kind of a culture shock. And that's
- 14:54Speaker 1: one of the big topics today. Jeff is, are the
- 14:56Speaker 1: Eagles kind of in limbo of where they are as
- 15:00Speaker 1: an organization? If this week doesn't go well and next
- 15:03Speaker 1: week doesn't go well, like do they start to think
- 15:06Speaker 1: about reset rebuild? Is that a thought with this, with
- 15:09Speaker 1: the way this organization thinks?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Well, it's usually not, and I did say last week
- 15:16Speaker 3: or whenever with you, I didn't feel like the trade
- 15:20Speaker 3: of Cam Juergens was a fire sale, and it's not.
- 15:22Speaker 3: They got a second-round pick, and they felt like they
- 15:24Speaker 3: probably were going to be moving on from him anyway.
- 15:26Speaker 2: But you still wouldn't have done that if you.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Were undefeated, I think, or if you were looking like
- 15:33Speaker 3: a team that was going to win a Super Bowl.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I don't think you would have done that.
- 15:36Speaker 3: What would happen if they then lose again Sunday and
- 15:38Speaker 3: then have another, and then you find out Hertz is
- 15:41Speaker 3: going to be out for four to six weeks.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I it's obviously how he has already made a move
- 15:46Speaker 3: that he probably would not have made in the past.
- 15:48Speaker 3: So we'd have to see how he'd react to more
- 15:50Speaker 3: bad news or losing.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Jeff Mosher from the inside, the birds podcast inside the birds.com.
- 15:56Speaker 1: You can listen to the inside, the birds podcast on
- 15:59Speaker 1: all podcasting platforms. And of course, check out all his
- 16:02Speaker 1: Eagles coverage and more of his team over at Philly voice.com and,
- 16:06Speaker 1: He was kind enough to jump in on today's edition
- 16:10Speaker 1: of the Football at Four. Carolina 2-2, playoff team last year.
- 16:14Speaker 1: They scored 30 points a game. You're at home. You
- 16:18Speaker 1: are a dog at home here. Does this feel like
- 16:20Speaker 1: one of those where everyone's bailed on them and they
- 16:22Speaker 1: find a way or just too beat up?
- 16:26Speaker 3: It's funny because it felt like they were given the
- 16:29Speaker 3: benefit of the doubt early because on Monday I think
- 16:31Speaker 3: they were 1.5-point favorites. All right, and then more injury
- 16:34Speaker 3: information came out, and it's like, okay, they're not. Now
- 16:37Speaker 3: it's back to one and a half for the Panthers.
- 16:40Speaker 3: And then the Hurts news came out, and then, I
- 16:43Speaker 3: don't know, you probably have seen the latest. I think
- 16:44Speaker 3: it was three and a half.
- 16:45Speaker 2: It could be going even up now that the Panthers
- 16:49Speaker 2: have been favored.
- 16:50Speaker 3: In this game for the last 48 hours, and it
- 16:53Speaker 3: might be going up as they get closer to Sunday.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yeah, now Barkley's out, too. You know that. I mean,
- 16:58Speaker 1: Smith coming back, I guess, does help you a little bit. Yeah.
- 17:02Speaker 1: If you need to just throw one down the field
- 17:03Speaker 1: and hope that he can get under there. I think
- 17:06Speaker 1: it was you that said it last week. The throw
- 17:08Speaker 1: that goes to Wicks, if that's Smith, does Smith get
- 17:11Speaker 1: under that and catch that thing, right?
- 17:13Speaker 2: Correct.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Or if it's even, you know, if Wicks doesn't have
- 17:15Speaker 3: a hamstring, that, you know. There's just so much that
- 17:19Speaker 3: went wrong there, yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Three and a half the number is right now, by
- 17:22Speaker 1: the way. Three and a half, over under 39 and
- 17:25Speaker 1: a half. It's like, can Philly score 10? You know,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I don't know. I like under. Their defense really good
- 17:31Speaker 1: and Eagles offense really bad, so it feels like an
- 17:33Speaker 1: underfeel in this one. All right, Jeff Mosher, everybody, from
- 17:36Speaker 1: the Inside the Birds podcast, joined us here on a
- 17:40Speaker 1: Friday edition of Football at Four. Thanks, man.
- 17:42Speaker 2: You got it, Mike. Take care.
