- 0:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Right Time, presented by PrizePix.
- 0:08Speaker 2: My name is Beaumont E. Jones.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Thanks for listening wherever you get your podcasts. Thanks for
- 0:11Speaker 1: watching us on YouTube. Subscribe, like, rate us, review us,
- 0:14Speaker 1: give us five stars. You can give us four stars.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm inclined to believe you are a hater. And, all right,
- 0:20Speaker 1: we had a crazy college football day, which is not
- 0:24Speaker 1: necessarily the same thing as.
- 0:26Speaker 2: A great college football day.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I don't feel like we're coming away from Saturday feeling like, man,
- 0:33Speaker 1: That was a bunch of great games.
- 0:36Speaker 2: But it was some really interesting outcomes, right?
- 0:40Speaker 1: Now, Ryan, you and I in the 12 o'clock window
- 0:43Speaker 1: were watching different games. You were watching LSU play against
- 0:47Speaker 1: Mississippi State, who did not have their starting quarterback.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It's important to point that out so you don't get
- 0:51Speaker 2: too excited.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I will never... No matter how college football changes, I
- 0:56Speaker 3: will never brag about beating Mississippi State.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Under any circumstance.
- 1:00Speaker 3: No, no.
- 1:01Speaker 2: No matter if they got Dak Prescott or what, huh?
- 1:03Speaker 3: Correct.
- 1:04Speaker 2: You're not going there.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I tell you, I never forget, boy, when I was
- 1:07Speaker 1: living in Miami, I used to live a few blocks
- 1:09Speaker 1: away from the Fontainebleau.
- 1:11Speaker 2: And it's nothing like.
- 1:12Speaker 1: When you don't really pay attention to who's in what
- 1:14Speaker 1: bowl and the shock of seeing Mississippi State gear. in
- 1:18Speaker 1: the lobby of the Fontainebleau because they made the Orange
- 1:21Speaker 1: Bowl that one time.
- 1:22Speaker 3: That's incredible.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Never thought I'd live that long. But anyway, you were
- 1:27Speaker 1: watching that game. I was watching Ohio State and Indiana. Meanwhile,
- 1:35Speaker 1: Sark and Arch, both of them were like, why don't
- 1:39Speaker 1: you bring somebody else in to do this?
- 1:42Speaker 2: And it's an argument that, I mean, for those who
- 1:45Speaker 2: don't know.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Um, The 2019 LSU Tigers played against Texas. They're not
- 1:52Speaker 1: really the 2019 LSU Tigers. Was it Josh Pate who
- 1:55Speaker 1: compared Florida to 2019 LSU?
- 1:58Speaker 2: That was a.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Bit of social media manager you hate, but that was
- 2:03Speaker 3: the clip that was going around.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I mean, I can't blame the social media manager for that.
- 2:07Speaker 3: No, for sure. I mean, don't hit the player, hit
- 2:10Speaker 3: the game.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Like, honestly, on that one, you get out and nobody
- 2:14Speaker 1: misrepresented him. Like, you get out here and you say that,
- 2:18Speaker 1: it's exactly for that, to the point where I feel
- 2:20Speaker 1: like I shouldn't be talking about that shit, because I
- 2:23Speaker 1: fell for it.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Right?
- 2:24Speaker 1: Like, I appreciate when social media people try to get
- 2:28Speaker 1: me on a hot take thing, and there's somebody that
- 2:30Speaker 1: pops up.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And is like, but you know what? He means that.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I can't see the world where Josh Pate meant that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Maybe he did, and maybe there was an explanation that
- 2:42Speaker 1: I simply didn't see.
- 2:44Speaker 2: But anyway.
- 2:45Speaker 1: After they went out and lost, what.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Two straight games after that?
- 2:48Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:48Speaker 1: They then came up. They went to Austin when they
- 2:52Speaker 1: beat Texas. And, boy, hard on Arch, man. They coming
- 3:00Speaker 1: down something vicious on Arch. I only saw highlights. I
- 3:05Speaker 1: don't know how much of the game that I saw, but.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Was it really on Arch or was this a Sark?
- 3:13Speaker 1: Because, I mean, I want to make this point. To me,
- 3:18Speaker 1: even Arch losses are Sark losses. You're the reason he's there.
- 3:23Speaker 1: The point of him going there was because you were
- 3:26Speaker 1: supposed to be the guy to get.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Him to where he needed to be. He is not, right?
- 3:32Speaker 2: He never got to be better than Quinn Ewers. He's
- 3:35Speaker 2: not it.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Now, look, maybe some of that is on Arch himself,
- 3:40Speaker 1: at which point This goes right back to Sark.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Like you shouldn't, you have seen through it. Or was
- 3:44Speaker 2: everybody just a little bit too excited about the idea?
- 3:48Speaker 3: He's been there a long time. You have to know his,
- 3:50Speaker 3: you should be more than aware of his strengths and weaknesses.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I'm talking about before he even got there, there was
- 3:57Speaker 1: great reason to be skeptical of what was being said
- 4:01Speaker 1: about arch largely because he didn't really dominate in that
- 4:06Speaker 1: lower level of Louisiana football that he was playing. Like
- 4:12Speaker 1: they were not for him to be the guy that
- 4:14Speaker 1: people said that he was. They should have just been
- 4:15Speaker 1: walking on over everywhere.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Correct.
- 4:17Speaker 2: That wasn't that wasn't it. Right.
- 4:20Speaker 1: That wasn't it. And the other part, this is where
- 4:22Speaker 1: it gets interesting. I was talking to my buddy Mike
- 4:24Speaker 1: Jones about this.
- 4:25Speaker 2: He made a great point. Arch has not been robo quarterback.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Which I kind of appreciate, like playing basketball during the
- 4:33Speaker 1: offseason and all of this stuff. And I would like
- 4:36Speaker 1: to think that you should be able to do that
- 4:38Speaker 1: and still come in and play.
- 4:40Speaker 2: And by and large, I think you probably can, right?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Like I think a lot of that, the marginal returns
- 4:47Speaker 1: on a lot of this extra work, I think is zero.
- 4:50Speaker 1: In some cases, it might even be negative. But this
- 4:54Speaker 1: was not Peyton Manning is what I'm saying. I don't
- 4:56Speaker 1: know like what the level of investment in being this
- 4:58Speaker 1: guy truly is or how much of this comes from
- 5:01Speaker 1: people on the outside or anything else.
- 5:04Speaker 2: But the bottom line is, You're not supposed to lose
- 5:07Speaker 2: this game, period. You're just not.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I don't care if it's a hangover from losing to
- 5:13Speaker 1: Oklahoma or not. You're not supposed to lose this game.
- 5:18Speaker 2: And they did.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I also want to throw this out here, Ryan. I
- 5:20Speaker 1: don't know if you know this. Just before I forget,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I was talking to Spencer about this. And he was
- 5:28Speaker 1: telling me, I can't remember if it was Spencer or
- 5:31Speaker 1: somebody else that was saying the guy, the quarterback for
- 5:34Speaker 1: Florida right now, calling him Trammell Jones. And I was like, wow,
- 5:39Speaker 1: who names their kid after Alan Trammell, former shortstop of
- 5:44Speaker 1: the Detroit Tigers, Hall of Famer. Shout out to Lou Whitaker,
- 5:48Speaker 1: who I think is getting overlooked. But anyway, then I
- 5:51Speaker 1: found out it was not Trammell, it was Trammell. And
- 5:55Speaker 1: suddenly the picture I had in my head of that
- 5:57Speaker 1: quarterback was completely different.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Of course.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I was like, oh, wow, yeah, I misunderstood it. Thought
- 6:02Speaker 1: we were talking about something else.
- 6:04Speaker 3: That sounds like a Spencer conversation.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but tell me this. And I think you and
- 6:08Speaker 1: I talked about this a little bit. You think they
- 6:10Speaker 1: might bench Arch? Because I don't, that still feels a little.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Hasty to me.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I think that everything is on the board in year
- 6:19Speaker 3: four after back-to-back losses when you were the number one
- 6:22Speaker 3: team in the country.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but I, this is all I'm saying.
- 6:26Speaker 1: If there was somebody good enough to replace what Arch
- 6:28Speaker 1: gives you, which is good, not great, I feel like
- 6:32Speaker 1: we'd have heard a lot more about that person already.
- 6:34Speaker 3: That's a fair point.
- 6:35Speaker 2: That's all I'm saying.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Like, you can do this if you want, but now
- 6:40Speaker 1: you start sounding a little bit like Alabama.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Put a pin in that one. We'll get back over there.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Don't you worry. We've got time.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That 12 o'clock window also, though, I watched Ohio State
- 6:53Speaker 1: in Indiana.
- 6:55Speaker 2: It's a crazy world that we live in, man, because.
- 6:59Speaker 1: The idea that Ohio State and Indiana play close games
- 7:02Speaker 1: is one thing. The idea that Indiana looks just as
- 7:07Speaker 1: good as Ohio State is still mind blowing. Like what
- 7:11Speaker 1: you would expect typically when you see something like this
- 7:14Speaker 1: is that there's some sort of schematic trickery that's going
- 7:18Speaker 1: on here. Like you would think that for Indiana to
- 7:21Speaker 1: be able to compete. Yes, I know they won the
- 7:23Speaker 1: national championship last year. It still ain't been that long.
- 7:25Speaker 1: you would think that for them to be able to compete,
- 7:28Speaker 1: that it would be some crazy thing like when Purdue
- 7:31Speaker 1: brought the spread.
- 7:32Speaker 2: To the Big Ten or something like this.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Like really, Chip?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yes.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Some offense that just nobody is ready for, and they're
- 7:39Speaker 1: beating teams by putting up 50, 60, or being out
- 7:42Speaker 1: there like what Chip did was, those teams weren't big enough.
- 7:46Speaker 1: They were just faster than everybody. They were faster, and
- 7:50Speaker 1: they played faster.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah, a little by some little scampers.
- 7:53Speaker 1: You would think this was, no, man, they're out here
- 7:55Speaker 1: playing 19-15 against Ohio State, which is not terribly different
- 7:58Speaker 1: than what the score was in the Big Ten Championship
- 8:01Speaker 1: last year. Like, they are going toe-to-toe with Ohio State,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and they had the game, but he just did not
- 8:09Speaker 1: get his feet down standing wide open in the end zone. Now,
- 8:15Speaker 1: one could make the argument that maybe the throw should
- 8:17Speaker 1: have been a little bit more toward the middle of
- 8:18Speaker 1: the field while we're blaming people. This is what happened, though,
- 8:23Speaker 1: to me. This is who you blame. You blame the rules.
- 8:29Speaker 2: That's right. Now, here's why I say you blame the rules.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Now, yes, college rules say the receiver only has to
- 8:34Speaker 1: get one foot inbounds, and obviously he got zero. And
- 8:37Speaker 1: you would be thinking, what more could the rules be?
- 8:40Speaker 1: My hot take on that one, if you watch the play, Ryan,
- 8:43Speaker 1: don't you think? That if the rule had been two feet,
- 8:47Speaker 1: that he would have approached the situation much differently.
- 8:50Speaker 2: And with greater care. And at the very least would
- 8:53Speaker 2: have gotten a foot in.
- 8:55Speaker 3: That's a good take. Because if you see him going
- 9:00Speaker 3: down the sideline, he just times his feet wrong. So
- 9:04Speaker 3: he gets the lead foot down.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Yeah, he did not treat that with any urgency or care.
- 9:11Speaker 1: He did not treat that as though this was at
- 9:14Speaker 1: all in question. He treated it like he was standing
- 9:17Speaker 1: under the goalpost. Because he's like, yeah, I just got
- 9:20Speaker 1: to get one foot in. And that foot he thought
- 9:22Speaker 1: would be down wasn't down. And then he put the
- 9:25Speaker 1: other one in. He didn't even think, hey, man, maybe
- 9:27Speaker 1: I need to just make sure he could have flexed
- 9:29Speaker 1: on him a little bit and put that foot down.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It was on fourth down, and he just missed it.
- 9:34Speaker 2: That's all it was.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Like a bad practice rep.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Right. Well, now Ohio State's got a problem because, number one,
- 9:40Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I don't care if Indiana won the national
- 9:42Speaker 1: championship again. They are Ohio State and you are Indiana.
- 9:46Speaker 1: You're not supposed to lose to Indiana under any circumstance.
- 9:48Speaker 1: In fact, your games aren't even supposed to be close.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I don't care how much higher they are punching above
- 9:53Speaker 1: their weight class. The games are never supposed to be close.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And so that team with the best players in the
- 10:00Speaker 2: country is down a quarterback.
- 10:04Speaker 3: For several weeks.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Say it over there.
- 10:06Speaker 1: They're going to lose some games. I don't know how many,
- 10:11Speaker 1: but I feel like they're going to lose more than one.
- 10:13Speaker 1: That being said, and I could be wrong here. I
- 10:17Speaker 1: don't know what approach it is that Ohio State is
- 10:21Speaker 1: going to take with the offense. I know the offense
- 10:25Speaker 1: that I would run is the modified Bel Air. What
- 10:32Speaker 1: are we going to do, guys? We're going to pass
- 10:35Speaker 1: the ball to Will. By the way, Will made a
- 10:39Speaker 1: great catch with two people around him in the end zone.
- 10:42Speaker 1: But Indiana did a great job on Will in that game.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I mean, I mean... I'm never going to– I didn't
- 10:52Speaker 3: leave that game impressed Friday night from what I saw. Sorry.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Maybe he's in a no-win situation. I think this is
- 11:00Speaker 3: quite literally the definition of a no-win situation. But Curt
- 11:04Speaker 3: Cignetti is the better coach.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Oh, that's not even close.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Not even close.
- 11:08Speaker 2: A great Curt Cignetti moment. Did you see the pregame interview.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Where they asked him, what do you do to shut
- 11:14Speaker 1: down Jeremiah Smith?
- 11:16Speaker 3: I did not.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Best answer possible. Going to hit the quarterback before he
- 11:21Speaker 1: throws the ball. And let me tell you something. Talk
- 11:26Speaker 1: about a man that ain't blowing no smoke.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Right. I don't think he's capable of it.
- 11:30Speaker 3: No.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Hashtag, if you know what I mean. I don't think
- 11:34Speaker 2: he could tell a lie under those circumstances. Nah.
- 11:36Speaker 1: He's just like, no, no, no, that's all we're going
- 11:37Speaker 1: to do. They did a great job there. Ohio State
- 11:40Speaker 1: plays defense too, man.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Like, they... But Indiana had that. Like, Indiana can still
- 11:47Speaker 2: win a national championship. Indiana got, what's my man's name?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Charlie Becker. Let me get a picture of him. There
- 11:53Speaker 2: we go.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I've been looking for a picture of him with no
- 11:55Speaker 1: hat on. Cause like name like Charlie Becker. I was like, Oh,
- 11:59Speaker 1: I know what he looks like. But then I watch
- 12:00Speaker 1: him play football at wide receiver. And I'm like, Oh,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I wonder what that's about. No, no, no. That's a
- 12:05Speaker 1: Charlie Becker. I used to know a professor named Charlie Becker.
- 12:10Speaker 1: And he looks like they might be kin.
- 12:12Speaker 2: That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But that Charlie Becker, ran the diversity program for the
- 12:19Speaker 1: American Economics Association.
- 12:20Speaker 2: So who knows?
- 12:21Speaker 1: This Charlie Becker might be down with the squad also
- 12:23Speaker 1: in his own different sort of way.
- 12:24Speaker 2: You dig? You feel?
- 12:25Speaker 1: But I guess we're going to hear more from both
- 12:28Speaker 1: of those teams. That gets us through the 12 slate.
- 12:32Speaker 1: The 3 o'clock slate had surprises that, well, a surprise
- 12:37Speaker 1: that we'd say. One, I did not expect Ole Miss
- 12:41Speaker 1: to truck Mizzou.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Like they did.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Like my plan for that window was to watch that game.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Cause I want to see Trinidad and Austin Simmons. And
- 12:51Speaker 1: it's Austin Simmons did not look like I had been
- 12:53Speaker 1: advertised to be in the course of that. I don't
- 12:56Speaker 1: know what exactly happened. That's the team that blew Florida's
- 12:58Speaker 1: doors off.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 2: It didn't look like that kind of team.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I also think it's entirely possible that that game was
- 13:04Speaker 1: just a lot for Simmons. Like going back to old
- 13:06Speaker 1: miss after how things had gone last year, maybe that
- 13:10Speaker 1: was a lot. Meanwhile, Chambliss looked like one of the
- 13:13Speaker 1: two best quarterbacks in the country. We'll talk about who
- 13:16Speaker 1: might have been the other one. Put a pin in
- 13:18Speaker 1: that part. But then we wound up with Alabama-Tennessee. So
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'm watching Alabama-Tennessee because, you know, I don't think I'd
- 13:27Speaker 1: watch Tennessee play this year.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I want to see how Alabama bounced back.
- 13:32Speaker 1: They did the thing that I hate in that game,
- 13:35Speaker 1: which is everybody wearing their colored jerseys.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Are you one of those that gets really riled up
- 13:42Speaker 3: about what jerseys people wear?
- 13:44Speaker 2: Hate it. I don't think.
- 13:46Speaker 1: One team is supposed to wear white. The other team
- 13:48Speaker 1: is not. That's how I feel.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Right?
- 13:51Speaker 1: Like, we're supposed to have clear signals here of what's
- 13:54Speaker 1: going on.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I really hate it in the NBA. Where.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I can't tell who's playing and where the different fucking
- 14:02Speaker 1: floor than it's been at any point in time.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I got no.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Consistency, man. You can't just be changing everything up on me.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm too old for that. My father's 89 years old.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I can't imagine what it's like if he tried to
- 14:12Speaker 1: figure out who played a basketball game these days. But anyway,
- 14:16Speaker 1: any of these, they're all, no, that's what we do.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Everybody wears their home jerseys. No, there's a home team
- 14:22Speaker 1: and a road team. Some of y'all's white jerseys are better,
- 14:25Speaker 1: but anyway, How many years in a row did Saban
- 14:28Speaker 1: beat Tennessee?
- 14:29Speaker 2: Was it like 15?
- 14:29Speaker 3: It was at least double digits.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I think it was all of them but one.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Right. It was all of them but that last year.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yeah, like that was one.
- 14:38Speaker 1: There are some rivalries that are very interesting because they
- 14:42Speaker 1: become generational. So for Alabama fans, LSU replaced Tennessee twice.
- 14:48Speaker 2: As that other rival. The whole reason the SEC had.
- 14:51Speaker 1: The design that it did, where every team plays one
- 14:54Speaker 1: team in another division, was to protect Alabama, Tennessee, and
- 14:57Speaker 1: Georgia Auburn. Because those were such big, important rivalries. And
- 15:02Speaker 1: Saban just rendered that one irrelevant. Just trucking through Tennessee.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Tennessee hired a few goobers in a row after Fulmer, too.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Who was the first goober? Derek Dooley?
- 15:14Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Your guy.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Oh, that.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Your guy was the first one.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I forgot about that.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it was just that fast. Your guy was the first.
- 15:30Speaker 2: They're so quick.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I didn't even notice.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Remember this, buddy.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Your guy now currently has the third best job he's
- 15:38Speaker 1: ever had.
- 15:39Speaker 2: And Tennessee was fourth.
- 15:44Speaker 1: He resembles a loathsome jerk. Niff, I feel, resembles, simply resembles.
- 15:50Speaker 1: What was I talking about? Sorry, I get a little upset.
- 15:52Speaker 1: We were talking about Tennessee and Alabama. Okay, buddy, the
- 15:56Speaker 1: Alabama faithful. They lost that game. It was fairly thorough.
- 16:01Speaker 1: One of my black homies who's an Alabama fan, he's
- 16:04Speaker 1: ready to send Russell out of there.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Out of there. I see the whites. They're done with DeBoer.
- 16:11Speaker 2: They're ready to send him Out of there.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Another school that lost two games in a row.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but that outcome, I think, was perfectly reasonable.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Given the game they had the week before, which was
- 16:24Speaker 1: going to be a slobber knocker anyway, on top of
- 16:26Speaker 1: the fact that they lost it in a heartbreaking fashion
- 16:28Speaker 1: when Buddy committed that stupid personal foul at the end
- 16:30Speaker 1: that really wrapped it up. This was not, and they're
- 16:34Speaker 1: not playing a bad team. This outcome was not necessarily
- 16:39Speaker 1: off the board. However, if what Alabama expects is to
- 16:47Speaker 1: be year in, year out, one of the two best
- 16:51Speaker 1: teams in the SEC, I don't know if that's going
- 16:55Speaker 1: to happen here.
- 16:58Speaker 2: And that normally gets the coach fired. What I feel
- 17:04Speaker 2: like Alabama.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Needs to do is root against USC's opponents every week
- 17:10Speaker 1: and hope that that gets them to dial up and
- 17:12Speaker 1: get the 70 million and get Lincoln Riley out of there,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and then hope that the former athletic director at Washington
- 17:20Speaker 1: hires the coach that Washington hired previously, Kalen DeBoer, and.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Gets him over there.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Because the problem you get with firing a guy like
- 17:31Speaker 1: him because of a season like this.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Why would I take that job?
- 17:38Speaker 1: I don't think people, this is the thing that people
- 17:41Speaker 1: who are too young to remember this job as a
- 17:44Speaker 1: true dragon, what I don't think they remember is what
- 17:49Speaker 1: happened before they hired Saban. And I don't mean the coaches,
- 17:52Speaker 1: I mean that hiring cycle. They couldn't get anybody. They
- 17:59Speaker 1: could not get anybody because, A, nobody really wanted that job. B,
- 18:04Speaker 1: the thing that I don't think is the same as
- 18:05Speaker 1: was then was that people raised the question as to
- 18:08Speaker 1: how high the ceiling still was truly at Alabama. And
- 18:11Speaker 1: at that time, the ceiling was always going to be
- 18:12Speaker 1: crazy high because.
- 18:15Speaker 2: They were going to do what needed to be done.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Now, if they pass this stupid-ass bill in Congress, it
- 18:22Speaker 1: may get back to that because it's going to throw
- 18:24Speaker 1: the money back under the table and Alabama's all right, cool.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It's just going to come down to how bad you
- 18:27Speaker 1: want it. Okay, that's where we thrive, right? If it's
- 18:33Speaker 1: just about how bad we want it, that's where we thrive.
- 18:36Speaker 1: But they looked a bit overmatched, and Russell did not
- 18:40Speaker 1: look good in that game.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Are they even a playoff team?
- 18:49Speaker 3: I mean, it's going to be close. I mean, everyone
- 18:53Speaker 3: in the SEC other than Georgia, who we'll get to
- 18:56Speaker 3: in a second, I mean, all that, like, two through
- 18:59Speaker 3: four is going to be real tight as we come
- 19:02Speaker 3: down the stretch.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Man, Spencer did the rotation or, like, the transitivity on
- 19:09Speaker 1: this when I was on the phone with him yesterday.
- 19:12Speaker 1: And I don't feel like I can do it off
- 19:15Speaker 1: the top of my head. But basically, all the teams,
- 19:20Speaker 1: it kind of rotates around.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Right. And everybody gets a piece, right? Like, it's a.
- 19:28Speaker 1: One could make an argument that this is a year
- 19:31Speaker 1: for a playoff because part of my belief of why
- 19:34Speaker 1: we didn't really need a playoff before is that it's
- 19:38Speaker 1: rarely been that difficult for me to get a handle
- 19:41Speaker 1: on like who the best couple three teams are in
- 19:44Speaker 1: the country.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Now, the idea that the only way to settle it
- 19:48Speaker 2: is on the field is honestly for uncredited. people.
- 19:52Speaker 1: My argument has always been the reason there's never been
- 19:54Speaker 1: a playoff or shouldn't have been a playoff before or
- 19:57Speaker 1: there's just no way to come up with a champion
- 19:59Speaker 1: in this ridiculous game because it's not.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Built for that. There wasn't structure for you to be
- 20:03Speaker 2: able to do that. That's just how I felt.
- 20:07Speaker 1: But I don't think that Anybody has that great a
- 20:11Speaker 1: handle on where these teams are relative to each other.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And this is especially the case after watching Auburn beat Georgia.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yes. Now that.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Georgia at home.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Did you see what the streak was for wins over
- 20:27Speaker 1: unranked teams for Georgia?
- 20:29Speaker 3: I can't imagine. It's what goes back to what, 2018?
- 20:33Speaker 2: Throw a number out there. Just guess.
- 20:35Speaker 3: 35? 53.
- 20:38Speaker 2: 53. 53.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Because that's the thing about Kirby, which was the thing
- 20:45Speaker 1: about Saban, is they never lost these games.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Right? Like, that's how you.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Wind up going through and beating Tennessee 15 straight years.
- 20:54Speaker 2: You never lose these.
- 20:57Speaker 1: You might lose a game that maybe you shouldn't have
- 21:00Speaker 1: against a pretty good team that dialed it up and
- 21:02Speaker 1: you couldn't. But what the Saban machine never did was
- 21:06Speaker 1: play with its food. At least not after 2007. That's
- 21:10Speaker 1: when they had the Louisiana Monroe loss. Ryan, who was it?
- 21:14Speaker 2: Was it UAB where Saban.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Got his, that was his play with his food loss
- 21:17Speaker 1: the first year at LSU?
- 21:18Speaker 3: I think it was the second year, but yeah, it
- 21:21Speaker 3: was a real bad loss.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it was first year. Because second year they won
- 21:24Speaker 2: the SEC. Yes.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's, that is where, that's what stopped. After 2010, basically,
- 21:32Speaker 1: where they lost those three games that year. Right.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Play with your food losses off the table. Didn't happen.
- 21:38Speaker 1: This wasn't even a matter of Georgia playing with their food.
- 21:40Speaker 2: They just lost.
- 21:41Speaker 1: And I think one thing we're going to see and
- 21:43Speaker 1: why that Indiana season last year is really going to
- 21:45Speaker 1: jump out is like the error of regular season undefeated,
- 21:48Speaker 1: especially now that these conferences are going to nine conference games.
- 21:52Speaker 1: This is just, we, even though we won, we got
- 21:55Speaker 1: our ass kicked last week. And we kicked their asses too.
- 21:58Speaker 1: That's how they lost to Tennessee. And now we came
- 22:01Speaker 1: out here after that at the crib in a rivalry
- 22:04Speaker 1: game and they just couldn't dial it up.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Right.
- 22:08Speaker 2: You know, like that's the amazing thing.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Like to coach college guys and never lose the games
- 22:12Speaker 1: that you're not supposed to.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Lose is crazy, crazy.
- 22:15Speaker 1: And again, Georgia does have built-in advantages. Alabama, I argue
- 22:20Speaker 1: the only built-in advantage is desire. Georgia is, sits on
- 22:25Speaker 1: the best recruiting ground in the country and don't even
- 22:29Speaker 1: really be getting those boys.
- 22:31Speaker 2: They still going to do better. Right?
- 22:34Speaker 1: They treat Georgia like Urban Meyer treated Ohio. Like, okay,
- 22:39Speaker 1: nice start, but we're going to need to do a
- 22:41Speaker 1: little bit more. That's what we're going to do. Never
- 22:44Speaker 1: dawned on me that they would lose that game.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Never.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Never dawned on me that they were going to lose
- 22:48Speaker 2: that game.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Now, if I was a different kind of person, I
- 22:52Speaker 1: might raise the point that very recently, Georgia, second greatest
- 22:59Speaker 1: running back in the history of the University of Georgia,
- 23:01Speaker 1: apparently has to have something very in common with the
- 23:04Speaker 1: greatest running back in the history of the.
- 23:06Speaker 2: University of Georgia.
- 23:08Speaker 1: And in support of that same cause, Gunnar Stockton, who
- 23:11Speaker 1: is a little bit less surprising, went to a rally
- 23:15Speaker 1: in Rome, Georgia, to show support.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Oh, I didn't see that. Yeah, yeah.
- 23:19Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Apparently, Magameen No, that don't work. I was going to say,
- 23:25Speaker 1: make a G in Georgia again, but that don't work. Anyway, they, they,
- 23:33Speaker 1: Todd Gurley.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Did G in MAGA stands for Georgia? Is that what
- 23:36Speaker 3: you're going for?
- 23:37Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I'm going for. That's what I'm going for.
- 23:39Speaker 2: M-A with the oval G.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 2: There we go.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Unfortunately, we just gave away a very lucrative merch idea.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Wow, we really did. It would have been just a problem.
- 23:50Speaker 1: On one hand, I'm like, it would have involved serious
- 23:52Speaker 1: copyright infringement. On the other hand, if we offered to
- 23:56Speaker 1: cut the University of Georgia in, I don't think they'd
- 23:58Speaker 1: have any.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Problem with participating. Is red, too? Yeah. I don't think
- 24:03Speaker 2: they'd have no problem.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Red and white, you know.
- 24:05Speaker 1: They would have no problem participating in that. Now, you see,
- 24:08Speaker 1: Tiger only sent the tweet. He's like, damn, I made
- 24:09Speaker 1: Georgia lose because that's what people were saying immediately after.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I didn't ask you that.
- 24:14Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yeah, they went the gutter Stockton one is really interesting
- 24:20Speaker 2: to me.
- 24:20Speaker 1: And all the reason I say that is, and I
- 24:22Speaker 1: guess it's not about making anybody new vote for you.
- 24:25Speaker 1: It's just about rallying the base. But if you looked
- 24:28Speaker 1: up and were like, well, shit, gutter Stockton's there. I
- 24:30Speaker 1: guess I'll be voting for Trump. Let me tell you
- 24:33Speaker 1: what you don't do vote.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Correct.
- 24:35Speaker 1: You're not voting for anybody. No, that's just not, that's
- 24:39Speaker 1: just not an effort that you want to make, but that's,
- 24:42Speaker 1: that's low key, a terrible loss.
- 24:44Speaker 3: It's a terrible loss. Like you said, a loss Kirby
- 24:47Speaker 3: never has.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Never, ever has. That is an awful loss. Oh, man,
- 24:53Speaker 2: it's bad. Look, in Georgia, fun fact, Georgia does not
- 24:56Speaker 2: play Tennessee this year.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 24:59Speaker 1: Georgia's three every-year games are Florida, Auburn, and then the
- 25:04Speaker 1: conference decided to give them a break in the game
- 25:08Speaker 1: of Vanderbilt.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Trust me.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I feel like there was some real campaigning going on
- 25:16Speaker 1: about that. But it's kind of how LSU and Florida
- 25:17Speaker 1: got stuck with each other. And that was not nearly
- 25:20Speaker 1: as daunting a proposition for Florida as it was in 1992.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And then by 2003, they're like, hey, hey, hey, man,
- 25:29Speaker 1: we ain't even really got nothing in common with them.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Yeah. You know?
- 25:32Speaker 2: Were you around? I don't think you would have physically
- 25:34Speaker 2: been there.
- 25:35Speaker 1: My favorite of all the crazy Les Miles games of
- 25:37Speaker 1: 2010 was the Florida game at the Swamp.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I was not there, but I have vivid memories.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I'll just never forget asking Urban Meyer after the game
- 25:47Speaker 1: about Les Miles.
- 25:47Speaker 2: This was before we knew Urban was going to quit.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And him just... No, no, next question. Couldn't even bring
- 25:52Speaker 1: himself to talk about it. Couldn't even do it.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Yeah, just the idea of losing to Les at home
- 25:59Speaker 3: just could not.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Throwing laterals off the ground for touchdowns.
- 26:07Speaker 2: That happened. That happened. So that got us all the
- 26:11Speaker 2: way through to 3 o'clock slate.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And then the night slate was crazy with Florida State
- 26:16Speaker 1: almost beating Miami. And look, here's why that might have
- 26:21Speaker 1: been the best sign ever for Miami. You can pretty
- 26:24Speaker 1: much write it down. Mario going to lose y'all a game. Yeah,
- 26:28Speaker 1: you're going to lose a game because Mario's your coach. Now,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I didn't watch enough of this game to know that's
- 26:33Speaker 1: what happened, but that's the only way I could figure
- 26:34Speaker 1: out how Florida State managed to keep that as close
- 26:36Speaker 1: as they did, and it went to double overtime. Because
- 26:40Speaker 1: when I talked about the two best quarterbacks in the country,
- 26:42Speaker 1: one of them is Chambliss, and the other one is Mensah.
- 26:46Speaker 3: I mean... So Florida State gets up early, and then
- 26:50Speaker 3: Miami comes back. And Florida State just keeps throwing haymakers. Yes.
- 26:54Speaker 3: They get up. They throw the big touchdown after Miami
- 26:56Speaker 3: comes back. They come back and score an 80-yard touchdown
- 27:00Speaker 3: right after that. But any game Miami loses, they're one
- 27:05Speaker 3: of the two best quarterbacks. But also, they have the
- 27:08Speaker 3: second-best wide receiver in the country, too.
- 27:09Speaker 2: So I say, so let's get to that part.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Mensah and Malachi Toney. Look to me.
- 27:16Speaker 1: To be the best quarterback plus wide receiver that Miami
- 27:20Speaker 1: has had since Vinny and Michael Irvin. And for my money,
- 27:26Speaker 1: Michael Irvin is the best player in the history of
- 27:29Speaker 1: the program. Like, they had a throw in, I think,
- 27:34Speaker 1: the second quarter.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Maybe it was the first.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Tony is double covered, right?
- 27:41Speaker 2: Quarter's got him, safety over the top.
- 27:44Speaker 1: And Mensah throws this pass directly between them, and Tony
- 27:48Speaker 1: jumps up and catches it.
- 27:49Speaker 2: And I can't tell.
- 27:53Speaker 1: If it just took such balls to throw it or
- 27:56Speaker 1: such accuracy. It was a combination of I can't believe
- 27:59Speaker 1: that anybody involved in this thought that.
- 28:01Speaker 2: This was reasonable.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Except for the two people involved.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Except for the two involved.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I mean, apparently Florida State thought it was reasonable that
- 28:08Speaker 1: it might happen.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:10Speaker 1: And those guys were there, and the ball just, it
- 28:12Speaker 1: was crazy. crazy there now will Mario lose them another
- 28:17Speaker 1: game I don't know I don't know it's just imagine
- 28:21Speaker 1: how hard a time Mario has explaining to people that
- 28:24Speaker 1: no no no I was I'm like I'm a cane
- 28:26Speaker 1: like I.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Was one of those I was on those teams yeah
- 28:29Speaker 2: I was there.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Yeah yeah like I was on them and I'm sure
- 28:31Speaker 1: he loved created a great time minute of it hey
- 28:34Speaker 1: man if you decided you were gonna go play for
- 28:36Speaker 1: them at that point you knew What it was.
- 28:40Speaker 3: And that's what you wanted to do.
- 28:42Speaker 1: The story I want is of all the white dudes
- 28:44Speaker 1: and how much they loved being there.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Right? In those. Like, uh, G-Rig. G-Rig.
- 28:53Speaker 1: He clearly loved it. Vinny Test the Birdie. Like, the, uh,
- 28:59Speaker 1: number two, I mean, off the plane in Phoenix. He
- 29:04Speaker 1: was the second dude off the plane in the fatigues.
- 29:06Speaker 1: He looked like he loved every minute of being with
- 29:10Speaker 1: those guys. Every single minute. Jeremy Shockey, clearly a guy
- 29:15Speaker 1: that was like, my kind of party.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Cristobal, I want to know. I just want to know. Right?
- 29:24Speaker 2: But they look, I will say this though, they look good.
- 29:26Speaker 1: And Cristobal, Cristobal taking Saban Ball to the.
- 29:30Speaker 2: ACC, that feels kind of unfair.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that's going to that's going to be a high floor.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Like again, he's going to, he's going to, he's going
- 29:37Speaker 3: to lose a dumb game, but he's also going to
- 29:39Speaker 3: win nine or 10 of them in the ACC by default.
- 29:42Speaker 1: And I was talking to one of my buddies. That's
- 29:44Speaker 1: a big Miami fan. My man, Corey. And he's like,
- 29:46Speaker 1: Hey man, this thing, I know that we going to
- 29:49Speaker 1: have a strong team.
- 29:52Speaker 2: That beats the hell out of people.
- 29:55Speaker 1: It's, As you could say from the less years, it's
- 29:58Speaker 1: fun to know if nothing else, that's what we're going
- 29:59Speaker 1: to do.
- 30:00Speaker 3: If we're going to run the ball that much, we're
- 30:01Speaker 3: going to lean on people.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yes. Not the worst thing in the world.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:06Speaker 1: And then BYU beat Notre Dame. Looks like that was
- 30:11Speaker 1: a great game.
- 30:12Speaker 3: It was a great game.
- 30:13Speaker 1: I saw the first part of it, and BYU was
- 30:16Speaker 1: up early. Huge for the Big 12, right?
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Yes.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Like huge for the big 12.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I can't also, it was, um, it's not, we talked
- 30:28Speaker 3: a little bit about the BYU with, uh, RJ, but
- 30:32Speaker 3: kind of a fun wrinkle to have. I mean, that
- 30:35Speaker 3: place was popping. I mean, that's that biggest, their biggest
- 30:38Speaker 3: game they've had there.
- 30:38Speaker 2: What?
- 30:39Speaker 3: 30 years, 40 years at BYU.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yes. It's a fair question. It's a fair question. Maybe
- 30:49Speaker 1: the biggest one says they beat Miami in 1990. Yeah.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Huge.
- 30:59Speaker 1: They're almost talking me into being like, wow, this playoff
- 31:01Speaker 1: sure could be great.
- 31:03Speaker 2: And that's the trick.
- 31:04Speaker 3: That's the trick.
- 31:05Speaker 2: That's what they try to do. They got this thing.
- 31:07Speaker 2: But once again, I don't know.
- 31:08Speaker 1: How good any of these teams actually are. And what
- 31:13Speaker 1: I really don't know is how good any of these
- 31:15Speaker 1: quarterbacks are. Like, you guys have been reading about this
- 31:18Speaker 1: CJ Carr guy. From what I saw in that game,
- 31:20Speaker 1: I did not see greatness.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it's a lot. I mean, what this
- 31:27Speaker 3: college football with the NIL in the playoff has given
- 31:29Speaker 3: us is spreading out the talent has given us a
- 31:31Speaker 3: lot of very goodness and not a lot of greatness.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know what?
- 31:34Speaker 1: I guess that's the part that we always have to
- 31:36Speaker 1: remember is that the talent is in more places. And
- 31:39Speaker 1: so you're going to get things like that. And I
- 31:42Speaker 1: suppose there's a certain charm in it.
- 31:45Speaker 3: I guess.
- 31:45Speaker 2: You know what I mean? I like the idea.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I like there being a juggernaut or two.
- 31:52Speaker 2: I'm here for that. Give me that. Last thing. Am
- 31:56Speaker 2: I doing this just so we could put it in
- 31:58Speaker 2: the metadata? Eh, maybe.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Shout out to Colorado because you played a closer game
- 32:05Speaker 1: against a good Utah team.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Than I expected. Hey, throw this out here too, Ryan.
- 32:13Speaker 1: We all thought that they were maybe doing the wrong
- 32:16Speaker 1: thing when they did this, but isn't it possible that
- 32:19Speaker 1: those good folks at Utah were a little bit ahead
- 32:21Speaker 1: of the curve where they decided to let Whittingham go
- 32:24Speaker 1: to keep their, maybe a little bit racist coach in
- 32:27Speaker 1: waiting and put him in charge because Utah looks a lot.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Better than Michigan.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:34Speaker 1: And for those who don't know, um, during the pandemic,
- 32:38Speaker 1: Moses Scali, the coach at Utah was the coach in waiting,
- 32:41Speaker 1: but they had find out he used the N word
- 32:43Speaker 1: sometimes when he shouldn't have. And so they made, unmade
- 32:47Speaker 1: him the coach in waiting. Um, before eventually making him
- 32:49Speaker 1: the coaching waiting again. That was during that, that, that
- 32:52Speaker 1: like nine to 18 months of white people cared. And
- 32:54Speaker 1: so they, they took it away from him and then
- 32:57Speaker 1: they gave them back. And then they were getting tired
- 33:00Speaker 1: of waiting on Whittenham to go. And so they got
- 33:02Speaker 1: him out of there so that Scali could have the job.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And now Whittenham is up there at Michigan, not looking great.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Bench in his, you know, number one overall recruit. He did.
- 33:12Speaker 1: And he's going to, he's going to be on the
- 33:15Speaker 1: bench at least for another week. Cause they came back
- 33:18Speaker 1: and won that game against Penn state.
- 33:21Speaker 3: They're going to, that's a terrible, I think they got
- 33:24Speaker 3: Indiana next week too. Yeah.
- 33:25Speaker 1: It's, it's a, it's not a terribly dissimilar situation to
- 33:28Speaker 1: arch right over there. The only difference is none of
- 33:31Speaker 1: us know how much Texas is paying arch. At least
- 33:33Speaker 1: I don't know, but you never hear a number attached
- 33:36Speaker 1: to it. There were numbers attached to price Underwood by people.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Are all numbers.
- 33:40Speaker 3: And do you know where that check is coming from? Yes.
- 33:43Speaker 2: And look, there's still chances for him to get it together.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Again, I was here for the first two years of
- 33:48Speaker 1: Vince Young. I know how quick this can change based
- 33:51Speaker 1: on some schematic stuff or whatever. Like, it doesn't have
- 33:54Speaker 1: to be like this forever. But I think Utah had
- 33:56Speaker 1: the right idea. But Colorado is why we're here. And
- 34:00Speaker 1: they had, what, a 17-point third quarter to get themselves back.
- 34:05Speaker 1: And they had a chance to get down, kick a
- 34:07Speaker 1: time field goal, maybe win. Their quarterback, by the way,
- 34:12Speaker 1: who is Zach Wilson's brother, That's wild. Very curious to
- 34:19Speaker 1: see how he hangs out with some of the fellows
- 34:20Speaker 1: on that team. But anyway, going down the field and
- 34:27Speaker 1: tried to do a little bit too much. And I
- 34:29Speaker 1: can see why he might have tried it, right? He's
- 34:31Speaker 1: coming up to the right side, like near the right hash.
- 34:35Speaker 2: And he's got it. And then he got a bright idea.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I got the pitch. Now, I need you to understand
- 34:42Speaker 1: he's way down the field. We're not talking about an
- 34:46Speaker 1: option play. He's got to pitch. And that pitch, when
- 34:50Speaker 1: you're running that fast, it's hard. That momentum carries you.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And so it.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Was a forward lateral. It didn't go backwards. Colorado lost
- 35:02Speaker 1: the game. I thought they were going to get rocked.
- 35:07Speaker 2: They did not. Good for them. Bench Juju Lewis, right, didn't.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Didn't that happen?
- 35:15Speaker 1: They ran the ball for over five yards to carry,
- 35:17Speaker 1: which is what they had been terrible at so far
- 35:19Speaker 1: this year. Like this was a this was a cause
- 35:23Speaker 1: for optimism game. And maybe it still is a cause
- 35:26Speaker 1: for optimism game.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Except for losing and losing like that.
- 35:30Speaker 1: They lost in a fashion that implies that your coach
- 35:33Speaker 1: isn't good.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I don't know how else to put it. That's what happened.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I haven't had a chance to see how Dion handled
- 35:43Speaker 1: it in the press conference.
- 35:44Speaker 2: My guess, not as well as he should have. That's
- 35:48Speaker 2: what it was.
- 35:50Speaker 1: But now, man, this was a crazy Saturday. Crazy Saturday.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Crazy Saturday. And now we get more of them.
- 36:01Speaker 2: You know why, Ryan? Because the world loves when we
- 36:03Speaker 2: work all weekends.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Yes, they do.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Complaints nobody cares about. Oh, you had.
- 36:11Speaker 1: To wake up in the morning and talk about football
- 36:13Speaker 1: with your friend for a couple of minutes.
- 36:15Speaker 3: How do we manage?
- 36:17Speaker 1: This is actually so real because there's a distinct possibility
- 36:19Speaker 1: that otherwise this would just be a telephone call anyway.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Might as well get some YouTube views. Ladies and gentlemen,
