- 0:00Speaker 1: In case the marks among show on seven tenor.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Well, hey, a nice warm day, seventies, eighties all this week.
- 0:12Speaker 2: That's great news. A lot to get to this hour.
- 0:15Speaker 2: So the blockade is now underway. We are now controlling
- 0:20Speaker 2: the Straits of horn Moose. US has blockaded it. It
- 0:23Speaker 2: will be strictly enforced now. A lot of experts on
- 0:29Speaker 2: this who've been watching this carefully are a little surprised
- 0:33Speaker 2: that Iran miscalculated this badly. The you know, war is
- 0:40Speaker 2: not about the Straits of horn Moose. Having it closed
- 0:42Speaker 2: doesn't affect us in any way. We don't get any
- 0:44Speaker 2: oil from there. It completely completely screws up Iran. It's
- 0:47Speaker 2: their only source of revenue, and it seriously hurts China
- 0:50Speaker 2: because they depend on oil from the Straits of horn Moose.
- 0:53Speaker 2: But it was a bargaining chip in the United States,
- 0:58Speaker 2: bargaining for all kinds of things. And the one thing,
- 1:00Speaker 2: or you know, when Trump says they have no cards,
- 1:02Speaker 2: the only card they had was They've got that straight.
- 1:05Speaker 2: So her Moose closed. Now. The only thing is we
- 1:08Speaker 2: could open it anytime we want militarily. The plan to
- 1:11Speaker 2: open it is pretty simple, straightforward. Every general that's looked
- 1:14Speaker 2: at it said, it's a perfect plan, one hundred percent
- 1:17Speaker 2: success rate on it sent com anytime they want to
- 1:20Speaker 2: open her Moose can So why this, Why all of
- 1:24Speaker 2: a sudden, why does the Trump administration announce they're closing it,
- 1:27Speaker 2: they're blockading it. What this is a lot of people
- 1:29Speaker 2: have pointed out, this is the biker scene from a
- 1:35Speaker 2: Bronx tale. You remember when he kept telling them bikers
- 1:37Speaker 2: to leave the bar, leave the bar, and then finally
- 1:39Speaker 2: remember he locked the door and he goes, now you
- 1:42Speaker 2: just can't leave. That's basically what this is. And you
- 1:46Speaker 2: remember that scene where it showed the bikers' faces and
- 1:51Speaker 2: all of a sudden they realized they'd made a huge mistake.
- 1:54Speaker 2: So now Iran, and again people can't believe they miscalculated this.
- 1:58Speaker 2: They're starting to realize that made a huge mistake. Here
- 2:01Speaker 2: we now control the straits of Horn Moose. US Navy
- 2:04Speaker 2: warships have been traveling through the straits over the weekend.
- 2:08Speaker 2: There's nothing really Iran can do to those big US warships.
- 2:13Speaker 2: They are perfectly capable of defending themselves. If they could
- 2:16Speaker 2: hit one of those ships, they would have done so.
- 2:19Speaker 2: In the last four or five weeks, they just can't
- 2:21Speaker 2: do it. Too many defense systems on those ships. Now
- 2:25Speaker 2: we've taken out their navy, it's completely gone. They do
- 2:28Speaker 2: have what they're calling the fast boats, the little tiny
- 2:31Speaker 2: fast ships. They can put a ton of explosives on
- 2:34Speaker 2: a fast ship and just shoot it across the water.
- 2:37Speaker 2: President Trump now saying they they didn't take out all
- 2:40Speaker 2: those ships before. It's a small number of them, but
- 2:42Speaker 2: we didn't hit them, just didn't consider them much of
- 2:45Speaker 2: a threat. But he said, now we're going to take
- 2:47Speaker 2: out all those ships. Just get rid of all of them.
- 2:49Speaker 2: We have very sophisticated mind sweeping technology. We will get
- 2:55Speaker 2: all the mines off the floor there of the Straits
- 2:58Speaker 2: of Horne Moose. We also have all kinds of new
- 3:00Speaker 2: mind detection. We have underwater drones, all sorts of SIMP systems.
- 3:05Speaker 2: One thing you've noticed in the last year, whether it's
- 3:08Speaker 2: Venezuela or here, all of a sudden we unveiled these
- 3:11Speaker 2: new weapons nobody knew about. And you're going to see
- 3:13Speaker 2: that here. So the Straits of Hormus is now under
- 3:16Speaker 2: US control, and we'll see, we'll see what Iran does
- 3:21Speaker 2: for the rest of the day. President Trump, mar A
- 3:25Speaker 2: Lago yesterday, Now it was quite a weekend. Saturday went
- 3:29Speaker 2: to Miami for the UFC fight, where he got an
- 3:32Speaker 2: enormous standing ovation from the crowd. Ultimate fighting UFC. This
- 3:38Speaker 2: is not something democrats enjoy. This is not a Democrat activity.
- 3:42Speaker 2: The crowd loves Trump. He cheered them. We walked in,
- 3:47Speaker 2: we had the whole family with him, went over to
- 3:49Speaker 2: say hello to Joe Rogan, who he saw there. Then
- 3:53Speaker 2: Sunday it was mar A Lago, so he went from
- 3:55Speaker 2: UFC ultra fighting Joe Rogan to the mar Alago crowd.
- 4:00Speaker 2: How we yield that crowd. All of a sudden and
- 4:04Speaker 2: surprise visitor yesterday at mar A Lago was Ron DeSantis
- 4:07Speaker 2: and his wife Trump, meeting him on the golf course.
- 4:11Speaker 2: DeSantis I don't think played golf. He's not not really
- 4:14Speaker 2: a golfer and certainly not good enough to play a
- 4:17Speaker 2: game with Trump. But he did spend the day with
- 4:21Speaker 2: President Trump. They had lunched together. Nobody knows what that
- 4:25Speaker 2: was all about. DeSantis is out of office at the
- 4:28Speaker 2: end of the year. It's his second term. He's term
- 4:30Speaker 2: limited out, nobody's gonna Nobody knows what he's gonna do next.
- 4:33Speaker 2: He's been a great governor of Florida, just absolutely brilliant
- 4:39Speaker 2: as governor of Florida. Other than that, he's got a
- 4:42Speaker 2: lot of problems. His personality the biggest one of all.
- 4:46Speaker 2: He has managed to alienate just about everybody behind the scenes.
- 4:50Speaker 2: He's and I again, I don't know why, but he's
- 4:54Speaker 2: one of the nastiest, rudest guys in private with people
- 4:58Speaker 2: in the party, with people, you know, donors, even the donors,
- 5:03Speaker 2: his biggest donors will tell you how cold and rude
- 5:06Speaker 2: he is to them. Again, I can't explain why. I
- 5:09Speaker 2: have absolutely no idea why. So what's he going to
- 5:11Speaker 2: do next? I don't know. Before he was governor, he
- 5:15Speaker 2: was a very undistinguished congressman. As Roger Stone said, what
- 5:22Speaker 2: do you say, an undistinguished congressman in a bad suit?
- 5:25Speaker 2: That's what he was before office. So how did he
- 5:28Speaker 2: become governor Florida? Donald Trump made him governor Donald Trump.
- 5:31Speaker 2: There were a bunch of people running. Donald Trump took
- 5:34Speaker 2: him from obscurity, promoted him, endorsed him, and got him
- 5:39Speaker 2: elected as governor. He should be very grateful to Donald Trump.
- 5:44Speaker 2: But again, he's not a nice guy behind the scenes.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Now here's one of the things that really really irked Trump.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Remember the mar Alago raid. The FBI rated mar a
- 5:53Speaker 2: Lago went through, everything went through, Baron's room, went through.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Malaney is underwear d for everything. Ron DeSantis, the governor,
- 6:02Speaker 2: was tipped off about the FBI raid way ahead of
- 6:05Speaker 2: time and never told Donald Trump. Never told him, never
- 6:10Speaker 2: told his mentor his benefact never told him. Trump got
- 6:15Speaker 2: elected despite all the law fair all the attempts to
- 6:19Speaker 2: Trump got elected. Behind the scenes, Ron de Santis begged
- 6:24Speaker 2: and begged to be Attorney general, but again, nasty guy
- 6:28Speaker 2: behind the scenes. Trump would never trust him in that
- 6:30Speaker 2: kind of role. So he said, he just said no way,
- 6:35Speaker 2: and that was the end of that. What's he going
- 6:36Speaker 2: to do after this? I don't know. He's a very
- 6:38Speaker 2: ambitious wife. She's the one always pushing him. So we'll see. Hey, mom,
- 6:45Speaker 2: Donnie celebrated one hundred days and that's been a benchmark
- 6:50Speaker 2: that they used for a lot of politicians of the
- 6:53Speaker 2: first hundred days. You look back, what did you accomplish
- 6:55Speaker 2: during the first hundred days? Nobody knows. He had all
- 6:58Speaker 2: these promises and he had a big speech. He's a
- 7:02Speaker 2: hell of a speaker. I guess that's what he accomplished.
- 7:04Speaker 2: He made some good videos, he made some great speeches.
- 7:07Speaker 2: So he held one hundred days celebration at this big
- 7:12Speaker 2: center in Queen's. Bernie Sanders showed up. That was the
- 7:15Speaker 2: one dignitary Bernie Sanders, so he spoke about his first
- 7:19Speaker 2: one hundred days. There's no real accomplishment, but he's a
- 7:21Speaker 2: hell of a speaker, so he made up a bunch
- 7:23Speaker 2: of things. It sounded okay.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Since we took office, murderers have hit record lows. There
- 7:29Speaker 3: has not been a murder on Staten Island in more
- 7:31Speaker 3: than one hundred and eighty days.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Crime in our city is down there you go, Actually,
- 7:41Speaker 2: crime is way up here in a lot of categories.
- 7:44Speaker 2: You won't get murdered. But subway crime is up, robbery
- 7:47Speaker 2: is up, felony stuff is up, carts, theft, a lot
- 7:50Speaker 2: of stuff is up. But you forgot to mention that.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Here's more.
- 7:54Speaker 3: No longer can someone charge you a hidden fee for
- 7:56Speaker 3: the hotel you book, or make it impossible to cancel
- 7:59Speaker 3: a gym membership. As we set the global standard for
- 8:04Speaker 3: protecting consumers, we will also ensure that New York City
- 8:08Speaker 3: remains the global center of business. We want to build
- 8:12Speaker 3: the strongest economy that our five boroughs have ever seen.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Well, you got to admit those are impressive. Impressive accomplishments.
- 8:19Speaker 3: No longer can someone charge you a hidden fee for
- 8:22Speaker 3: the hotel you book, But we.
- 8:25Speaker 2: All live here, We're not staying in a hotel. How
- 8:26Speaker 2: does that help us? It's great that keet me to
- 8:28Speaker 2: the hidden fee, but we live here. We don't need that.
- 8:31Speaker 2: You're supposed to be helping the people that live here.
- 8:33Speaker 2: What was the other accomplishment?
- 8:35Speaker 1: Make it impossible to cancel a gym membership?
- 8:38Speaker 2: Was this a big problem? Do you know anybody had
- 8:40Speaker 2: their gym membership canceled? Is that an issue? But you
- 8:45Speaker 2: see here a lot of that in the campaign. How
- 8:47Speaker 2: many times do somebody said, I can't believe they canceled
- 8:49Speaker 2: my team membership. It's the opposite problem. You can't cancel
- 8:53Speaker 2: your gym membership. You ever tried to cancel? They beg
- 8:56Speaker 2: you to stay, They charge your credit card. You didn't
- 8:58Speaker 2: realize you signed up for audumnt renewal. They get you know,
- 9:02Speaker 2: it's like trying to get rid of serious radio. You
- 9:04Speaker 2: can't do it. Go go call him, say you want
- 9:06Speaker 2: to get rid of it. They'll they'll give you a
- 9:08Speaker 2: lower price. Then tell no, I don't want to I
- 9:10Speaker 2: don't care what your prices. They'll give you a lower
- 9:12Speaker 2: price seventeen dollars a month. You try to cancel, Okay,
- 9:15Speaker 2: we'll give you fifteen. I don't want it. I'm telling you,
- 9:17Speaker 2: I just want to cancel. My guy, all right, we'll
- 9:19Speaker 2: give you twelve. I don't care what the price is.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I just want to cancel. We'll give it to you
- 9:25Speaker 2: for six a month. Really, you can't get rid of
- 9:29Speaker 2: It's the same thing with the gym membership. Go stand,
- 9:32Speaker 2: what's up? Gym? Right there? There's lifetime fitness right next
- 9:35Speaker 2: to us, right next to Go stand outside and see
- 9:38Speaker 2: if this people coming out crying to cancel my membership.
- 9:42Speaker 2: So I don't know what the hell he's talking about. Now,
- 9:44Speaker 2: what about the stuff he promised? The grocery stores? What
- 9:47Speaker 2: happened to the free grocery years? The government grocery.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Store, the same market that Fierro LaGuardia opened in nineteen
- 9:54Speaker 1: thirty six, so working people then could save my me
- 10:00Speaker 1: on fruits and vegetables. We will continue his legacy.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Now, everything sounds great. Everything sounds great. Government grocery store
- 10:09Speaker 2: you'll save a fortune. Well, the problem is, first of all,
- 10:14Speaker 2: there's really no markup in the grocery stores. You know,
- 10:17Speaker 2: profit margin. When they sell something, the profit on it
- 10:20Speaker 2: is like twenty percent or up to forty percent, somewhere
- 10:23Speaker 2: around twenty thirty percent. That's your profit margin, you know,
- 10:25Speaker 2: in the grocery business, it's one percent. That's why most
- 10:30Speaker 2: of the grocery stores are going away. You can't exist.
- 10:33Speaker 2: And if you run a grocery store, you know, if
- 10:36Speaker 2: you're Cristidis, if you're a whole food, you gotta be
- 10:39Speaker 2: a genius at running that business. To operate on a
- 10:41Speaker 2: one percent profit might be like no room for air.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I think it's one and a half percent maybe, but
- 10:48Speaker 2: so they're not really gouging anybody. So Mamdani came up
- 10:52Speaker 2: with a plan, one government grocery store in each borough,
- 10:57Speaker 2: five of them. Now, the first of all, the first
- 11:00Speaker 2: one in Manhattan. It's a government space in East Harlem.
- 11:04Speaker 2: That's great. But if it's a government grocery, let's say
- 11:07Speaker 2: you live in the village. Let's say you live in Tribeca.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Let's see. I mean, who's going to go to East Harlem?
- 11:13Speaker 2: You know how far that is? Do you know, anybody
- 11:14Speaker 2: drives like to the other end of the county to
- 11:17Speaker 2: get to get their groceries. No, you need a neighborhood
- 11:20Speaker 2: grocery store, So I don't know what that does. He
- 11:22Speaker 2: also said it would cost seventy seven h seventy million
- 11:26Speaker 2: for the five grocery stores. Well, he announced the first
- 11:29Speaker 2: one he's going to open it to be the East Harlem.
- 11:32Speaker 2: It's going to cost thirty million. Well wait a minute.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I'm not a math genius, but you said you'd do
- 11:39Speaker 2: five for seventy. So if this one's costing thirty that
- 11:43Speaker 2: means the real price is one hundred and fifty million.
- 11:46Speaker 2: And since it's the government doing it, which always means
- 11:48Speaker 2: cost overruns, that means it's going to be three hundred million.
- 11:52Speaker 2: And now look at this, they're not going to open
- 11:56Speaker 2: till twenty twenty nine. This is why you don't want
- 12:00Speaker 2: the government doing anything. As soon as the government got
- 12:03Speaker 2: into healthcare, all of a sudden, it was a total mess.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It's a total disaster. You ever go to the motor
- 12:07Speaker 2: vehicle department and wait in line three hours? Can you
- 12:10Speaker 2: mention buying your groceries that way? So twenty twenty nine
- 12:14Speaker 2: they'll get these open now, if you got tick. My
- 12:18Speaker 2: friend John Katzimtitis, he's an absolute expert in how to
- 12:21Speaker 2: create a grocery store. He's got hundreds of them, probably
- 12:26Speaker 2: the biggest expert in the city how to create a
- 12:27Speaker 2: grocery store. I guarantee if we said to him, here's
- 12:29Speaker 2: a piece of land in East Harlem, how soon can
- 12:32Speaker 2: you get a grocery store up there, he'd probably tell
- 12:35Speaker 2: you three months. If I really rushed two months, I
- 12:40Speaker 2: guarantee you he wouldn't say, well, I can't get it
- 12:42Speaker 2: open till twenty twenty nine, three years now, it wouldn't
- 12:48Speaker 2: take three years. So that's the other problem with the
- 12:50Speaker 2: government trying to do anything. It's a total total disaster
- 12:54Speaker 2: whenever they attempt to do anything. Hey, this, I don't
- 12:59Speaker 2: even understand this. Do we even know this? Chick fil
- 13:01Speaker 2: A shooting? Chick fil A is a great place, great
- 13:04Speaker 2: chicken in New Jersey. At the Chick fil A, A
- 13:07Speaker 2: whole bunch of guys go in there and start shooting
- 13:09Speaker 2: up the whole place. Do we still haven't figured out why?
- 13:13Speaker 2: It was a war zone in there. People were shot.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It was just horrific. Here's the nine one one call.
- 13:20Speaker 4: A gunshot victim at that location who don't enter the scene.
- 13:24Speaker 5: The scene it's not safe at this time.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it was just horrible, horrible, horrible. I've got an
- 13:31Speaker 2: unconscious witness, I've got one shot in the face.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Like I've got five victims, three gunshot victims.
- 13:39Speaker 2: This is nine o'clock Saturday night, Route twenty two location
- 13:42Speaker 2: in Union. Group of men stormed in, went behind the
- 13:45Speaker 2: food counter, just open fire. We don't know why yet.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Just a horrible story. Hey, Also in the news, Eric
- 13:53Speaker 2: Adams has announced he's now become a citizen of Albania.
- 13:59Speaker 2: You know what this guy's up to. He's now become Albanian,
- 14:03Speaker 2: which is great if you want to open an Italian
- 14:05Speaker 2: restaurant in Westchester, these all these Italian restaurants, it's actually
- 14:09Speaker 2: Albanians running up. They're very good at restaurants, and many
- 14:12Speaker 2: of them, the Albanians came through Italy at some point,
- 14:15Speaker 2: so they're very good at Italian restaurants. But he announced
- 14:19Speaker 2: he's actually an honorary They've made him an honorary citizen
- 14:22Speaker 2: of Albania. He'll remain a US citizen. Todd Shapiro, his spokesman,
- 14:28Speaker 2: Todd Shapiro, friend of mine, great pr guy. The decision
- 14:32Speaker 2: by Albanian the grant Mayor Adams citizenship reflects the enduring
- 14:36Speaker 2: relationship mutual of respect, further strengthens the bond between New
- 14:40Speaker 2: York and Albania. Okay, but it could just be an
- 14:43Speaker 2: honorary thing.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Uh.
- 14:45Speaker 2: He described himself as an international mayor. He loves Albania.
- 14:50Speaker 2: His adult son has lived there for a while. In fact,
- 14:53Speaker 2: his adult son competed in the Albanian version of American Idol.
- 14:59Speaker 2: There is such a thing. Adams himself traveled there quite
- 15:03Speaker 2: a bit, one of the several inners. So who knows
- 15:06Speaker 2: what you who knows why? But I kind of miss him.
- 15:10Speaker 2: We all miss him.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Now.
- 15:10Speaker 2: You know you weren't that drilled with him in Mayor.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Now you'd give anything to happen back. He was a
- 15:14Speaker 2: lot better than what's going on. Now. Hey, we'll take
- 15:16Speaker 2: some calls. Next eight hundred three to two one zero
- 15:20Speaker 2: seven ten is the number eight hundred three to two
- 15:24Speaker 2: one zero seven ten, Now.
- 15:27Speaker 1: More mark simone on seven ten.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Way, let's take some calls. Let's go to John in Florida. John,
- 15:35Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 15:37Speaker 4: Good morning? Mop wouldn't be the best interests of the
- 15:40Speaker 4: oil company's work, which on right now. The lower the
- 15:44Speaker 4: prices while this is going on, because if we lose
- 15:47Speaker 4: the midtimes, they're gonna be pickle because of the Democrat
- 15:50Speaker 4: takes all. But they're gonna stop them from trapping dwelling
- 15:53Speaker 4: and every other dam Yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I know they like a convince you. Oh the whole
- 15:56Speaker 2: midterm revolves around oil prices. It won't and they'll probably
- 15:59Speaker 2: come plunging down in a few weeks after this is
- 16:01Speaker 2: all over. You could make the oil companies lower the price.
- 16:05Speaker 2: There was no reason to raise it. They've just raised
- 16:08Speaker 2: it to match the international price, even though both of
- 16:11Speaker 2: the oil is sold here. But if you forced them
- 16:12Speaker 2: to do that, they would just cut production and that
- 16:16Speaker 2: would raise the price. So you don't want them to
- 16:18Speaker 2: do that either. Let's go to Stuart in South Carolina. Stuart,
- 16:21Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 16:23Speaker 6: Hey?
- 16:23Speaker 7: Mark car are you you know? You mentioned Nikki Haley.
- 16:26Speaker 7: I've been in Southah you're.
- 16:27Speaker 2: In South Carolina. Does everybody in there hater too?
- 16:32Speaker 7: We would not elect that woman as a dog catcher.
- 16:36Speaker 7: She you have to know South Carolina politics, but she
- 16:40Speaker 7: absolutely embarrassed the state over the flag, threw us under
- 16:43Speaker 7: the bus. We have so many tran plants here now
- 16:46Speaker 7: they don't know about the South Carolina politics. But yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 7: we can't stand that woman. When Trump hired or got
- 16:53Speaker 7: her out of South Carolina, we were very happy. We
- 16:55Speaker 7: knew she wanted to do well and yeah, she You know,
- 16:59Speaker 7: I was on radio for many years and I did
- 17:02Speaker 7: a lot of interview Oh yeah, and Nicky Haley and
- 17:06Speaker 7: I were many functions together. I used to do a
- 17:09Speaker 7: lot of interviews Eric Trump and that and excuse me,
- 17:14Speaker 7: And so I got to know Haley, and you know,
- 17:17Speaker 7: there's some real problems there. So everything that you say,
- 17:21Speaker 7: you're spot on, You really are.
- 17:23Speaker 2: All right, Thanks for calling you. No, I've confirmed that
- 17:25Speaker 2: with everybody from the President to everybody in the cabinet.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Nicki Haley behind the scenes, the nastiest, lying, scheming woman
- 17:33Speaker 2: behind the scenes. There was one time I was on
- 17:35Speaker 2: a TV show with the cabinet member. One time I
- 17:37Speaker 2: said something like that and he said, well, I'm not
- 17:39Speaker 2: going to say anything bad about Nicki Haley. And then
- 17:43Speaker 2: we went to a commercial and I said, what the
- 17:45Speaker 2: hell was that? And he said, worst person I've ever
- 17:48Speaker 2: worked with in my life. Everybody has confirmed it. Let's
- 17:53Speaker 2: go to Chris in Manhattan. Chris, how you doing.
- 17:56Speaker 8: Good morning, Mark, I'm okay.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Thanks.
- 17:58Speaker 8: Listen about the oil and everything, let me.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Point out, Chris, is what we call a panic, panics
- 18:04Speaker 2: about everything. We're going to lose the last election because
- 18:07Speaker 2: of abortion. What was the other thing you panic about?
- 18:09Speaker 6: Well?
- 18:10Speaker 8: No abortion, I am I am still surprised that we
- 18:13Speaker 8: did not lose all price to.
- 18:16Speaker 2: You, it's not an issue of any kind. The president
- 18:18Speaker 2: has no connection to the abortion issue. There's no power
- 18:22Speaker 2: over abortion nothing. It's no longer a federal issue. It's
- 18:25Speaker 2: a state issue.
- 18:27Speaker 5: All right.
- 18:27Speaker 8: Well, anyway about about the oil prices and everything. The
- 18:30Speaker 8: whole world is hating us now because we're causing the.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Panic. If you went back four months, they didn't love us.
- 18:39Speaker 8: Trump said yesterday that maybe the prices will still be
- 18:42Speaker 8: the same, we're a little bit higher during the election.
- 18:46Speaker 2: You still haven't figured this out, have you? What Take
- 18:50Speaker 2: all the Trump comments for the last few weeks, they're
- 18:52Speaker 2: all over the map. The price will be plunging in
- 18:54Speaker 2: two weeks. The price will never come. He does this
- 18:56Speaker 2: all the time to confuse the enemy.
- 18:59Speaker 8: But now we're the straight and not the Iranians. What's
- 19:02Speaker 8: the difference. We're still causing a shortage around the world.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Well, there's no shortage here, I know.
- 19:08Speaker 8: But but we can't lower our prices artificially because we're
- 19:11Speaker 8: the ones that caught that's causing pain to everybody else.
- 19:14Speaker 8: So we can't do that.
- 19:17Speaker 2: We're not We can open the streets anytime.
- 19:19Speaker 8: You're the best show on the radio.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Once again, Admiral Cooper sent com. They have the plans.
- 19:25Speaker 2: It's fool proof. They can open the straits or any
- 19:28Speaker 2: time they want. When they decide they're going to open it,
- 19:30Speaker 2: it will be opened, just like that. It's in our
- 19:33Speaker 2: interest right now to keep it closed. It'll be a
- 19:37Speaker 2: few weeks. It'll be a few weeks, but then the
- 19:40Speaker 2: prices by summer, you're going to be paying a two
- 19:42Speaker 2: fifty for gas. It's going to come up.
- 19:44Speaker 8: Okay, Are we going to save the Iranian citizens that
- 19:46Speaker 8: we told to fight because we were coming and we
- 19:49Speaker 8: had their backs So.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Far we have. Yeah. They were wiping them out of
- 19:52Speaker 2: like a thousand every day before.
- 19:54Speaker 8: Not anymore.
- 19:55Speaker 2: No, No, they're busy fighting us. They're noting the streets anymore. No,
- 19:59Speaker 2: they ca shoot people in the streets because they'd have
- 20:01Speaker 2: to appear out on the streets where we would blow
- 20:03Speaker 2: them up. Republican guard in hiding. Remember it's just before
- 20:07Speaker 2: we started this war. They had shot thirty thousand people
- 20:10Speaker 2: in the streets. Let's go to rich in Myrtle Beach.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Rich How you doing good?
- 20:14Speaker 5: Oh, my Lord, give him some prozac or something. He
- 20:16Speaker 5: needs to calm down.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It's not just him, This is that there are a
- 20:19Speaker 2: lot of people. No they're Democrats, but a lot of Republicans.
- 20:24Speaker 2: They're happier, worrying and think everything's gonna everything's terrible. You know,
- 20:29Speaker 2: people like that, right, they prefer.
- 20:30Speaker 5: Well, they ought to take up you know, we'd legal
- 20:33Speaker 5: in a million states. Now they want to saw smoking
- 20:35Speaker 5: weed and calm down or something like that.
- 20:36Speaker 2: You know, everybody has one of them in the family.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Everybody's happy that there's always one in the family. Go, oh, well,
- 20:42Speaker 2: it's never gonna know. They just want to be miserable.
- 20:45Speaker 2: They enjoy it.
- 20:46Speaker 5: Well, my brother moved down here from New York and he's,
- 20:49Speaker 5: you know, so anti Trump. He votes in the Republican
- 20:52Speaker 5: primary just to vote against Trump, which is another problem
- 20:54Speaker 5: with the state. And Stewart is right. I mean, when
- 20:57Speaker 5: I moved down here twenty fourteen. I wasn't even here
- 21:00Speaker 5: two or three weeks, and we all hated Nikki Haley
- 21:02Speaker 5: and she's in the same ballpark as Mike Pence. Neither
- 21:04Speaker 5: one of them could get elected as a dog catch anymore.
- 21:07Speaker 5: But the Eric Faller things awesome because here's a guy
- 21:11Speaker 5: they needed him for so long, and he must have
- 21:13Speaker 5: really pissed somebody off big time for them to just
- 21:15Speaker 5: turn on him on a dime and all the stuff
- 21:17Speaker 5: come out all at one time. They must really want
- 21:19Speaker 5: him out, which is awesome because you might actually have
- 21:22Speaker 5: two Republicans on the ticket for the governor of California. Max,
- 21:26Speaker 5: you have a Republican governor by default.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it's tough because it's two thirds Democrat in California,
- 21:33Speaker 2: but it's possible. The best candidate in a long long
- 21:35Speaker 2: time is Steve Hilton. We'll see. Let's go to Mike
- 21:38Speaker 2: in Saint James, Long Island, St. James James. Very nice, Mike,
- 21:42Speaker 2: how you doing fine?
- 21:44Speaker 5: Mark?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 21:45Speaker 5: Uh. The new supermarket, city owned supermarket opening in Harlem.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Schedule It's open in about three years. Do you think
- 21:53Speaker 5: that's a no big contract?
- 21:56Speaker 2: Well that's another thing. Very good point. Now, as they said,
- 22:00Speaker 2: the supermarket business is the toughest business in the world.
- 22:02Speaker 2: You're on a one percent profit margin. You got to
- 22:04Speaker 2: really know how to get the best prices. Government doesn't
- 22:08Speaker 2: know how to do that. You're right, they'll overpay. They'll
- 22:11Speaker 2: give it to the highest bidder. It'll never work. It'll
- 22:14Speaker 2: cost three times as much if the government tries to
- 22:16Speaker 2: sell you grocries. Anytime the government tries to sell you something,
- 22:20Speaker 2: it costs five times what it would in the private sector.
- 22:23Speaker 2: So hey, when we come back, Bruce Blakeman most likely
- 22:27Speaker 2: will be the next governor in New York. He'd be
- 22:29Speaker 2: a great governor. We'll talk to Bruce Blakeman next on
- 22:32Speaker 2: seven to ten WR give wr O Bri said on
- 22:37Speaker 2: the iHeart Radio app to hear Mark Simone and all
- 22:40Speaker 2: the WR hosts in an instance.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Now back to the Mark Simo Show on wor.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Well, Bruce Blakeman running for governor. He's the Nassau County executive.
- 22:52Speaker 2: County executive is like a governor's job. It's basically the
- 22:55Speaker 2: same thing, and he's proven to be the best county
- 22:58Speaker 2: executive in America. Every he wants everybody who knows what
- 23:01Speaker 2: they're doing wants him to be governor. He'd be the
- 23:04Speaker 2: best governor we could have right now. Bruce Blakeman, and
- 23:07Speaker 2: you got to help him out. Go to Blakemanfromnewyork dot Com.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I know you're supporting them, but you got to help out.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Donate volunteer. Go to Blakeman for New York dot Com.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Blakeman for New York dot Com. Bruce Blakeman, how you doing.
- 23:23Speaker 6: I'm doing great, Mark, and thank you for your support,
- 23:26Speaker 6: your dear friend. You are an amazing personality and I
- 23:33Speaker 6: just value our friendship. Thank you so much. We're doing great.
- 23:36Speaker 6: I just had a press conference where I indicated it
- 23:41Speaker 6: on day one as governor, I will pardon Sergeant Duran.
- 23:46Speaker 6: He was doing his job. It was a gross miscarriage
- 23:49Speaker 6: of justice to convict him and to put a sentence
- 23:52Speaker 6: of three to nine years on an NYPD veteran who's
- 23:56Speaker 6: just doing his job. He's got three children. I think
- 23:59Speaker 6: it's just a disgrace. It's the air of criminality that
- 24:03Speaker 6: now exists in New York State under Kathy Hoakh and
- 24:06Speaker 6: Zorn Mandami. That ends on day one when I become governor.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Yeah, Duran is the cop who threw the cooler, and
- 24:13Speaker 2: it was a split second decision. He got in front
- 24:16Speaker 2: of a wacky left wing judge who just a while back,
- 24:19Speaker 2: somebody beat a homeless guy to death. He gave that
- 24:22Speaker 2: kid a gang member like three months. He gives this
- 24:25Speaker 2: cop three to nine years. So as governor, you would
- 24:27Speaker 2: have the power to pardon him on.
- 24:29Speaker 6: That Yes, and I will pardon him at twelve oh
- 24:35Speaker 6: one on January first. It'll be the first thing that
- 24:39Speaker 6: I do as governor. Again, we are destroying the morale
- 24:45Speaker 6: of NYPD and other law enforcement professionals throughout the state.
- 24:51Speaker 6: It is a state where we have the most pro
- 24:54Speaker 6: criminal governor in America in Kathy Hockel. You know, just
- 24:59Speaker 6: think about it. Mark, Every law enforcement policy issue she
- 25:04Speaker 6: makes makes it easier for criminals to prey on our communities.
- 25:10Speaker 6: When is she ever promulgated a law that protects our communities,
- 25:16Speaker 6: that protects our law enforcement professionals. She fired two hundred
- 25:20Speaker 6: No excuse me, she fired a two thousand corrections officers
- 25:25Speaker 6: who were complaining that under Kathy Hockel's policies, the prisoners
- 25:31Speaker 6: were now running to jails, making it unsafe not only
- 25:35Speaker 6: for corrections officers, but unsafe for the prisoners themselves. And
- 25:40Speaker 6: making the surrounding communities around jails insecure. This is a
- 25:44Speaker 6: governor that is completely out of touch. I am going
- 25:47Speaker 6: to correct this injustice. As Sergeant Duran twelve oh one
- 25:52Speaker 6: January first, twenty twenty seven. I will have the document
- 25:56Speaker 6: in front of me and I will gladly sign it.
- 26:00Speaker 2: That's great to hear. The other problem you got these
- 26:02Speaker 2: crazy left wing district attorneys that let all the criminals out.
- 26:06Speaker 2: They that's a state job, district attorney. Does the governor
- 26:08Speaker 2: have the power to remove a district attorney?
- 26:12Speaker 6: Yes, the governor does have the power if they're not
- 26:15Speaker 6: doing their job. It's happened before. I think it's an
- 26:19Speaker 6: extraordinary measure that I wouldn't do lightly. But for instance,
- 26:25Speaker 6: if there was a district attorney that was not enforcing
- 26:28Speaker 6: the law, and if that district attorney was doing things
- 26:33Speaker 6: to make our communities less safe and doing it without
- 26:37Speaker 6: adhering to their oath of office to protect our communities,
- 26:43Speaker 6: yes I would remove that district attorney.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Hey, the reason we want you to donate go to
- 26:47Speaker 2: Blakemanfromnewyork dot com is the matching funds that you're supposed
- 26:52Speaker 2: to get. Of course you would get them but it
- 26:54Speaker 2: looks like total corruption with this finance board. How did
- 26:58Speaker 2: they justify denying you them matching funds?
- 27:02Speaker 6: Well, it's more political dirty tricks on the part of
- 27:05Speaker 6: Kathy Hochel. She's a cheater. We're not surprised. Basically, that's
- 27:11Speaker 6: been her more. Here's the situation. Mark, there are matching
- 27:17Speaker 6: funds that are public finance. That is the law. We
- 27:23Speaker 6: qualified for it, I was certified get it. And then
- 27:30Speaker 6: they changed the rules and regulations saying that the governor
- 27:34Speaker 6: and the Lieutenant governor have to file together and that
- 27:38Speaker 6: they would prepare a form for us to sign. Well,
- 27:42Speaker 6: they never prepared the forum. Then the Commission, which is
- 27:47Speaker 6: four Democrats the three Republicans, voted four to three to
- 27:52Speaker 6: decertify us from our right to get matching funds. It's
- 27:56Speaker 6: a disgrace. It's something that you would see in a
- 28:00Speaker 6: totalitarian government. We have become a totalitarian government. There's one
- 28:05Speaker 6: party rule, and when there's one party rule, the prospects
- 28:10Speaker 6: for tyranny increase by many, many multiples. And that's what
- 28:15Speaker 6: we now have in New York. We've got a governor
- 28:18Speaker 6: who runs the state as if it's their own personal
- 28:22Speaker 6: piggy bank. She runs the state with an iron cyst,
- 28:28Speaker 6: and she's a bully, and we want to make people
- 28:31Speaker 6: in New York happy again. We want to put New
- 28:34Speaker 6: Yorkers first. She spent eight billion dollars of our taxpayer
- 28:39Speaker 6: money on non New Yorkers, on people who came here illegally.
- 28:42Speaker 6: They're here for fifteen minutes. They got free housing, free food,
- 28:45Speaker 6: free lodging, and a free cell phone. I mean, what
- 28:49Speaker 6: does that say to the hard working New Yorkers who
- 28:52Speaker 6: are struggling to make ends meet every day that their governor,
- 28:56Speaker 6: in the most overtaxed state in the United States is
- 29:00Speaker 6: fretting away their money, their taxpayer money, on people who
- 29:04Speaker 6: aren't New Yorkers. That also ends on January first. I'm
- 29:07Speaker 6: going to put New Yorkers first, make New Yorkers happy
- 29:11Speaker 6: again by having a governor that cares about them and
- 29:13Speaker 6: their families.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Well, you go to Blakeman from New York dot Com,
- 29:18Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman. Obviously, you know you've done well with taxes
- 29:21Speaker 2: and crime and everything in Nassau County, But when you
- 29:23Speaker 2: get up there to Albany, how much can you do
- 29:25Speaker 2: about taxes with that crazy legislature.
- 29:28Speaker 6: Well, it's a bargaining process, and the governor has a
- 29:31Speaker 6: tremendous amount of power when it comes to the budget.
- 29:35Speaker 6: So there are things that the legislature is going to want,
- 29:38Speaker 6: and there's things that I as the governor, So we
- 29:43Speaker 6: all have to and negotiate, but I'm not going to
- 29:49Speaker 6: give one inch on the things that are important to me,
- 29:52Speaker 6: and that is creating economic development and immediately cutting electric
- 29:57Speaker 6: costs in half. When you look at you your electric bill,
- 30:01Speaker 6: only thirty percent of your payment goes for energy, only
- 30:04Speaker 6: thirty percent. The rest goes for excessive delivery, fies, more taxes,
- 30:10Speaker 6: and the green energy scan that produces very little energy.
- 30:13Speaker 6: So that ends. We are going to be done with
- 30:17Speaker 6: all these experiments that cost billions and billions of dollars
- 30:21Speaker 6: and produce very little energy. We're going to open up
- 30:24Speaker 6: the Marcella's Shale to drilling. We have one of the
- 30:26Speaker 6: biggest natural gas reserves in the world that will create
- 30:30Speaker 6: a huge supply. And when you have a huge supply,
- 30:33Speaker 6: it brings down energy costs. So you're going to have
- 30:37Speaker 6: a governor that will immediately reduce your electric bills in half,
- 30:42Speaker 6: will work to cut taxes and create economic development, and
- 30:45Speaker 6: prosperity for every family in New York.
- 30:49Speaker 2: You know there are Democrats love to yell about President
- 30:51Speaker 2: Trump raised gas prices, it's costing you an extra one
- 30:54Speaker 2: hundred a month. Nobody ever points out those policies you
- 30:58Speaker 2: mentioned took your election bill from one hundred to four
- 31:01Speaker 2: hundred dollars a month. But again, can you really make
- 31:04Speaker 2: those changes without the legislature? Is that possible?
- 31:07Speaker 6: Yes, because the governor has authority over the administration. The
- 31:13Speaker 6: electric bills are promulgated by rules and regulations of a
- 31:19Speaker 6: regulatory authority, and the governor has the power of appointment.
- 31:23Speaker 6: So yes, I will appoint people to those boards that
- 31:28Speaker 6: put the consumer first, put the rate payer first, and
- 31:31Speaker 6: not all of these green energy scam companies that contribute
- 31:36Speaker 6: millions of dollars to Kathy Hokal's campaign.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Bruce Blake, when they pulled these dirty tricks
- 31:42Speaker 2: with the campaign finance board. When it comes to having
- 31:45Speaker 2: a debate, which of course you should have, what's she
- 31:48Speaker 2: going to pull there? Is she going to agree to
- 31:49Speaker 2: a debate?
- 31:52Speaker 6: Well, I'd like to have a debate every month from
- 31:55Speaker 6: now until the election. I think that it's important that
- 31:58Speaker 6: the people have an opportunit need to measure us both
- 32:02Speaker 6: to see where we stand on policies. But of course
- 32:05Speaker 6: she will do everything in her power not to debate me.
- 32:10Speaker 6: She has said she's not taking matching funds because a
- 32:15Speaker 6: rule of taking matching funds says that you have to
- 32:17Speaker 6: be willing to debate. She wants no part of debating me.
- 32:21Speaker 6: How could she want to debate me when I have
- 32:23Speaker 6: a record of four years of making people happy, lowering taxes.
- 32:29Speaker 6: I have the safest county in America according to the
- 32:31Speaker 6: US News and we're report we have economic development and prosperity.
- 32:35Speaker 6: You've got the lowest poverty rate in the state. How
- 32:38Speaker 6: in the world is she going to want to debate
- 32:40Speaker 6: me when she's got four years of a record of failure,
- 32:45Speaker 6: of a record of making people miserable. We are the
- 32:47Speaker 6: most overtaxed, overregulated state. Our utility bills are fifty percent
- 32:52Speaker 6: higher than the national average. Our crime is out of control.
- 32:58Speaker 6: People don't want to use public transfer VASI because of
- 33:01Speaker 6: the fact that they don't feel safe, and they need
- 33:05Speaker 6: a governor that's going to care about them and put
- 33:07Speaker 6: them first. And that's why I'm absolutely confident that on
- 33:10Speaker 6: October first, excuse me. On January first, of twenty twenty seven,
- 33:15Speaker 6: I will be sworn in as the next governor of
- 33:17Speaker 6: the state.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Well, we hope.
- 33:18Speaker 5: So.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Hey, you started twenty points behind the polls. But every
- 33:22Speaker 2: time you've ever run, you're always twenty points behind the polls.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Next thing, you know, you win. But how's it going?
- 33:27Speaker 2: I know you've come way up in the polls recently.
- 33:30Speaker 6: Yeah, we've cut that more than in half. We are
- 33:35Speaker 6: in single digits.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Now.
- 33:36Speaker 6: We are six months ahead of our own schedule. And
- 33:39Speaker 6: that's because, you know, Kathy Hochel is helping my campaign.
- 33:44Speaker 6: Zo ran Mondami's helping my campaign. They're in league together.
- 33:47Speaker 6: They're failed policies. Now they're going to open up a
- 33:50Speaker 6: grocery store, a city run grocery store together. I mean,
- 33:56Speaker 6: why is the city and the state getting involved in
- 33:58Speaker 6: the grocery business. It's max of socialism, which is nothing
- 34:03Speaker 6: more than shared misery. I don't want to make people
- 34:05Speaker 6: miserable anymore. I want to make them happy, just like
- 34:08Speaker 6: I did in Nashaus County. People in New York State
- 34:11Speaker 6: want to be proud of their government. They want to
- 34:13Speaker 6: be proud of their state, and right now they're not.
- 34:16Speaker 6: And it's a shame and I will correct that situation
- 34:20Speaker 6: when I'm elected governor.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Well, Bruce Blakeman would be a great governor. We want
- 34:23Speaker 2: everybody to help out. You can donate, that's important. You
- 34:26Speaker 2: can volunteer. Go to blakemanfrom New York dot com and
- 34:32Speaker 2: you can do it there. Blakeman from New York dot com.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, Great, thanks for being with us.
- 34:39Speaker 6: Mark, Thank you so much. God bless you. You're a
