- 0:43Speaker 1: Wayne Allen Root.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Welcome, welcome, welcome to the War Zone. My name is
- 0:55Speaker 3: Lee Elsie filling in for Wayne Allen. Did I get
- 0:56Speaker 3: in time? I got into this break a little bit
- 0:58Speaker 3: too early. Sorry about that, guys. It's my first day
- 1:01Speaker 3: on the job. It is the second day of September,
- 1:04Speaker 3: in case you were wondering. And, of course, I am Lee. Well,
- 1:07Speaker 3: you don't know this for a fact unless you're just
- 1:09Speaker 3: tuning in. How would you know? My name is Lee Elsie,
- 1:11Speaker 3: the voice of freedom. I'm broadcasting from Connecticut, my state-of-the-art studio,
- 1:15Speaker 3: filling in for Wayne Allen. That's the official fill-in host
- 1:17Speaker 3: for Wayne. I think Wayne, if he's not already back,
- 1:20Speaker 3: will be back. He's definitely going to be back tomorrow
- 1:22Speaker 3: for sure. This whole segment is being sponsored by Vertical
- 1:26Speaker 3: Research Advisory, VRA. So after 15 years on Wall Street,
- 1:31Speaker 3: at the highest levels. In 2003, Kip Herridge, he founded VRA,
- 1:35Speaker 3: his Global Investment and Economic Newsletter. And since then, his
- 1:39Speaker 3: top performing recommendations have beaten the market 86% of the time.
- 1:42Speaker 3: That's 18 out of 21 years, which is absolutely remarkable.
- 1:47Speaker 3: That's not just beating the market. It's often beating the
- 1:50Speaker 3: market by a mile. Meanwhile, the average Wall Street money
- 1:53Speaker 3: manager loses to the market about 90% of the time.
- 1:56Speaker 3: So facts matter. The fact is that VRA portfolios beat
- 1:59Speaker 3: the market In good years and in bad years, from
- 2:02Speaker 3: gross stocks to ETFs to precious metals to Bitcoin, the
- 2:06Speaker 3: VRA goes wherever the highest profits reside. So let Kip
- 2:09Speaker 3: prove that to you for free, exclusively for Wayne's fans.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Kip is offering his daily VRA investment letter completely free
- 2:17Speaker 3: for two weeks. Actually, join now at VRAinsider.com. That's VRAinsider.com.
- 2:24Speaker 3: And you'll get his best-selling book, The Big Bribe, for
- 2:27Speaker 3: free as well. Get your free two-week membership at VRAinsider.com.
- 2:31Speaker 3: That's VRAinsider.com. And again, tell them you heard about it
- 2:35Speaker 3: here on Warzone. You guys, wherever you are across the country,
- 2:41Speaker 3: you guys dealing with the worst drivers in the history
- 2:44Speaker 3: of mankind. Are you guys going through that? I mean,
- 2:47Speaker 3: I've never seen anything like it. I mean, I know
- 2:51Speaker 3: here in the state of Connecticut, and you might think, okay, well,
- 2:53Speaker 3: you're out there in Vegas, you're out there in California,
- 2:55Speaker 3: wherever you're listening. across this country. You're watching on the
- 2:58Speaker 3: Gateway Pundit. You're watching on Untamed Nation. You could be anywhere.
- 3:01Speaker 3: You could be in any of the 50 great states.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I don't know. Maybe you think Connecticut's like this backwoods,
- 3:06Speaker 3: et cetera. It's like a Autobahn between New York and Boston.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Everyone goes like 100 miles an hour. Everyone's weaving in
- 3:12Speaker 3: and out of traffic. I'm just curious if that's happening
- 3:14Speaker 3: in your place, in your state, in your town, in
- 3:15Speaker 3: your county, in your city, wherever. It's nuts.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I know this is
- 3:22Speaker 3: completely off the beaten track. I know Maybe most of
- 3:26Speaker 3: you want to talk about Trump and his mission and
- 3:29Speaker 3: what he's done today and the fact that there was
- 3:30Speaker 3: a big document dump with Epstein. And I really don't
- 3:33Speaker 3: want to get into it until I actually see what's
- 3:35Speaker 3: in it. And I need this to be done. I
- 3:38Speaker 3: need Trump to release the Epstein files. I need that
- 3:41Speaker 3: to be something that is going on. I need the
- 3:44Speaker 3: people who are on those lists to be buried and
- 3:46Speaker 3: basically drowned in their own cesspool of ugliness. That is
- 3:50Speaker 3: something that I think is non-negotiable. So I hope this
- 3:53Speaker 3: is the beginning. of all of it. So I just
- 3:55Speaker 3: saw that a little while ago that there was a
- 3:57Speaker 3: great document dump. And as I learn more about it,
- 4:00Speaker 3: I'll share that with you. If I can learn more
- 4:01Speaker 3: about it by the end of the show, we'll try
- 4:03Speaker 3: to share it with you by the end of the show,
- 4:05Speaker 3: but I'm sure it's a deep dive, but I did
- 4:08Speaker 3: a segment on the show and it got a lot
- 4:09Speaker 3: of response. So I figured my show on morning show,
- 4:11Speaker 3: and I figured I'll just share it with you guys.
- 4:14Speaker 3: And again, I don't know where or what your legal
- 4:17Speaker 3: status is in whatever state you might be in, but
- 4:20Speaker 3: There is this push for the legalization of assisted suicide
- 4:23Speaker 3: in the United States. And I have to say this.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I've talked to a lot of different legislators, both, you know,
- 4:29Speaker 3: whether the congressional people or Senate people or state by
- 4:33Speaker 3: state in house or state Senate races. And nobody, nobody
- 4:39Speaker 3: has really given me this idea that there is there
- 4:44Speaker 3: on concrete ground when it comes to this, because it
- 4:46Speaker 3: is such a complex, difficult issue. scenario to to to
- 4:51Speaker 3: talk about so on one hand personally i believe in
- 4:57Speaker 3: autonomy the right of an individual alongside with their family
- 5:01Speaker 3: to make these profound decisions about their life especially when
- 5:05Speaker 3: they're facing unbearable suffering and i don't know how many
- 5:09Speaker 3: of you have hopefully not a lot hopefully you haven't
- 5:12Speaker 3: had to deal with a lot of unbearable suffering in
- 5:14Speaker 3: your life But those of you who have had to
- 5:17Speaker 3: do that, you know that there comes a point in
- 5:19Speaker 3: time in people's lives that they just don't want to
- 5:21Speaker 3: do it anymore. They're in too much pain. It's too
- 5:24Speaker 3: much harder. And I understand there's a religious implication to
- 5:27Speaker 3: all of this as well. So it's a tug of war.
- 5:31Speaker 3: And I think what ends up happening, the thought of
- 5:34Speaker 3: becoming a burden to loved ones or enduring relentless pain
- 5:39Speaker 3: during a declining physical condition is something that sort of
- 5:44Speaker 3: hit home with me. I mean, incomprehensible yet on one hand,
- 5:47Speaker 3: but you grapple with a moral weight of ending life,
- 5:52Speaker 3: this unbelievable gift that was given to us that none
- 5:57Speaker 3: of us really look on as a gift until probably
- 5:59Speaker 3: it's too late. But it is a gift. Every day
- 6:03Speaker 3: is a gift, right? Tomorrow may not come. That's just
- 6:07Speaker 3: a fact. But there are people who have to deal
- 6:11Speaker 3: with these horrific decisions. And There's sort of like a
- 6:16Speaker 3: partisanship tug-of-war that goes on during this. It seems like
- 6:19Speaker 3: the Republicans are against the assisted suicide and the Dems
- 6:24Speaker 3: are more for it. But I've talked again to legislators
- 6:27Speaker 3: who are Republican who vote against it, but deep down,
- 6:32Speaker 3: they don't know because it's a hard decision to make.
- 6:37Speaker 3: And a decent society... I believe should do all it
- 6:42Speaker 3: can to reasonably alleviate human suffering.
- 6:47Speaker 1: And I.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Don't know if we do that. I mean, I know
- 6:51Speaker 3: we have hospice and I know we have things of
- 6:53Speaker 3: that nature, but there comes a point in time when
- 6:56Speaker 3: someone is not just a burden, but physically unable either
- 6:59Speaker 3: to move or is, has become a man is living
- 7:02Speaker 3: basically inside this, this hollow shell that's deteriorating and they're
- 7:07Speaker 3: in constant pain. I mean, we don't, I mean, we
- 7:10Speaker 3: wouldn't do that to your pets, and yet we do
- 7:13Speaker 3: it to people. So again, I'm still in a tug
- 7:16Speaker 3: of war, but I'm just throwing out a number of
- 7:18Speaker 3: different sort of questions for you maybe to ask yourself.
- 7:23Speaker 3: But the question that lies at the heart, I think,
- 7:25Speaker 3: of the assisted suicide debate, and it's the one that
- 7:29Speaker 3: we cannot answer lightly, is to inform your discussion. If
- 7:33Speaker 3: you look at the data, right? Let's look at Canada,
- 7:36Speaker 3: for example. This is where it goes off the rails, right?
- 7:39Speaker 3: So Canada has legal suicide. And in Canada, medical assistance
- 7:47Speaker 3: in dying, they call it MAID, has been legal since 2016.
- 7:52Speaker 3: And according to a 2023 report, MAID accounted for 4.1%
- 7:54Speaker 3: of all deaths in Canada. 4.1% of the people who
- 7:55Speaker 3: have died in Canada. That's 13,241 cases in the year
- 7:57Speaker 3: 2023 alone took their own life or made that decision.
- 8:11Speaker 3: And that's 60,300 deaths total since legalization. Now, where it
- 8:17Speaker 3: goes off the rails, and this is why this debate
- 8:19Speaker 3: rages in this country, is because people think it's going
- 8:22Speaker 3: to get manipulated. And it's clear it's been getting manipulated
- 8:25Speaker 3: in Canada. According to this report, there's one person who had,
- 8:31Speaker 3: one guy in particular, a young man with curable cancer.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Curable, not incurable, curable.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Opted for the maid instead of the cancer treatment. He
- 8:42Speaker 3: was euthanized. An elderly woman with a hip fracture, euthanized.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I mean, there are cases, like to me, if it's
- 8:51Speaker 3: literally the sense where someone is on the fast track
- 8:56Speaker 3: to pain and suffering, then I think we should have
- 9:00Speaker 3: the compassion to move in. But these other cases, they
- 9:02Speaker 3: make you think like, okay, so this is what we
- 9:04Speaker 3: don't want. And this is why there's a fight against it.
- 9:07Speaker 3: And in the United States, assisted suicide is actually legal
- 9:10Speaker 3: in 10 states, in Washington, D.C. as well, under incredibly
- 9:13Speaker 3: strict conditions, typically requiring the terminal illness with a prognosis
- 9:18Speaker 3: of six months or less. So if you've got doctors
- 9:20Speaker 3: signing off on you have six months to live and
- 9:22Speaker 3: the prognosis is terminal, in 10 states, they'll let you
- 9:26Speaker 3: take your own life. But again, I know I'm not
- 9:29Speaker 3: answering any of these questions. I'm just throwing a whole
- 9:31Speaker 3: bunch of stuff up at the wall and let you
- 9:32Speaker 3: think about it wherever you might be. I know it's
- 9:34Speaker 3: not the funnest topic to think about and one that's uplifting,
- 9:37Speaker 3: but it's one that I think eventually hits almost every
- 9:40Speaker 3: single family in some capacity. Like you've got somebody, an uncle,
- 9:45Speaker 3: a father, a mother who ends up getting into this situation.
- 9:49Speaker 3: And I mean, the idea that you watch them deteriorate,
- 9:56Speaker 3: it's tough It's tough. And then there's other broader implications
- 10:01Speaker 3: to all of this. Now we have advanced genetic testing.
- 10:04Speaker 3: So what happens if we find out that the embryo
- 10:07Speaker 3: is a potential health risk? Do you terminate then? Do
- 10:09Speaker 3: you terminate for someone with Down syndrome? Again, 90% or more,
- 10:13Speaker 3: that actually does happen in some other countries. Well, that's
- 10:17Speaker 3: not quite equivalent to assisted suicide. That trend... sort of
- 10:21Speaker 3: reflects the idea that mankind controls. In these cases, I
- 10:27Speaker 3: think erroneously controls the outcome of a life and death. Again,
- 10:33Speaker 3: I'm not telling you I have an answer. I'm not
- 10:34Speaker 3: even telling you that I have a strong opinion. I'm
- 10:36Speaker 3: just throwing out some numbers to get you to think.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I mean, legalized assisted suicide risks amplification, isolation. Again, people
- 10:46Speaker 3: who end up choosing for this sort of, Scenario usually
- 10:50Speaker 3: are isolated. Anyway, I just thought I'd throw that out
- 10:54Speaker 3: at you. I didn't want to, uh, to get too
- 10:57Speaker 3: deep into the weeds, but I thought it was something
- 10:59Speaker 3: that we could, at least you can bounce around in
- 11:01Speaker 3: your brain. Maybe, maybe not. Anyway, the gateway pundit is
- 11:06Speaker 3: where you can watch us. Untamed nation is where you
- 11:08Speaker 3: can watch us root for America. Wayne's rumble X getter,
- 11:12Speaker 3: all great places. If you want to weigh in on

- 11:26Speaker 3: Bottom of the hour, we're going to talk to businessman
- 11:28Speaker 3: and former gubernatorial candidate Bob Stefanowski. We'll come back in
- 11:33Speaker 3: just a couple of minutes. Don't you dare go anywhere.

- 15:04Speaker 3: All is quiet on New Year's Day. It is the
- 15:08Speaker 3: war zone. My name is Lee Elsie filling in for
- 15:10Speaker 3: Wayne Allen Root. This segment is brought to you by
- 15:13Speaker 3: the Great Patriot Store. That's right. GreatPatriotStore.com. You can go online.
- 15:17Speaker 3: If you're sick and tired of supporting woke companies, there
- 15:22Speaker 3: are a lot of them out there. I have great
- 15:24Speaker 3: news for you. You don't have to do that anymore.
- 15:26Speaker 3: The answer is no. greatpatriotstore.com, right? If you have no
- 15:30Speaker 3: answers to inflation, they're your answer. Hundreds of households and
- 15:33Speaker 3: personal products that you're already buying at your local supermarket, Amazon, Costco, Walmart,
- 15:40Speaker 3: now you can buy them online at greatpatriotstore.com. Plus, you
- 15:45Speaker 3: don't have to do any shopping and see people, right?
- 15:47Speaker 3: People are annoying and sometimes they can be gross and disgusting.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I mean, I live close to a Costco and I
- 15:53Speaker 3: see a lot of gross and disgusting. But their products for, again,
- 15:58Speaker 3: the great Patriot store are less expensive, higher quality, made
- 16:01Speaker 3: with no toxic chemicals, made in the U.S. of A,
- 16:04Speaker 3: delivered right to your door at incredible prices. That is
- 16:07Speaker 3: how you beat inflation. And they've expanded their beef division,
- 16:10Speaker 3: so now you can get steaks, hot dogs, and hamburgers,
- 16:12Speaker 3: all of that, no hormones, no antibiotics, no mRNA ever.

- 16:37Speaker 3: will contact you right away. And in a matter of minutes,
- 16:40Speaker 3: you will be a member. Go to GreatPatriotStore.com. That's GreatPatriotStore.com.
- 16:47Speaker 3: By the way, I wonder how Wayne's feeling because the
- 16:49Speaker 3: best player on the Dallas Cowboys was traded for a
- 16:52Speaker 3: couple of draft picks. You guys will have to ask
- 16:54Speaker 3: him about that when he comes back tomorrow. I know
- 16:57Speaker 3: he's all about handicapping NFL football, and I know his
- 17:01Speaker 3: favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys, and I know he
- 17:04Speaker 3: cannot be happy about them trading Micah Parsons away. So
- 17:08Speaker 3: maybe that's something you guys can ask him. Are you
- 17:10Speaker 3: guys psyched for the NFL? Do you care about the NFL?
- 17:12Speaker 3: Does anybody care about the NFL? I mean, I do
- 17:14Speaker 3: like the NFL. I have to admit. But you know
- 17:17Speaker 3: what I'm sick and tired of? I will have to
- 17:19Speaker 3: admit this. I don't like how they're squeezing every single
- 17:23Speaker 3: nickel out of everybody. And the NFL is just starting
- 17:26Speaker 3: to do it. Baseball is doing it. And they're having
- 17:30Speaker 3: to pay these enormous salaries in baseball. You go to
- 17:32Speaker 3: a game, it's $ 100 to get a decent seat, $ 100
- 17:35Speaker 3: a seat, plus parking's $ 50 at least, depending upon where
- 17:39Speaker 3: you are. I mean, you go to Fenway Park, it's
- 17:40Speaker 3: $ 50 to park, $ 100 for the seat. If you want
- 17:44Speaker 3: a drink, it's $ 10. If you want a hot dog,
- 17:46Speaker 3: it's $ 10. I mean, if you've got a family of four,
- 17:48Speaker 3: you can't get out of there without it costing you $ 700.
- 17:51Speaker 1: $ 800.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Minimum.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Minimum.
- 17:54Speaker 3: And football is sort of heading in that direction. Not
- 17:58Speaker 3: only is it expensive, obviously, to go to a game, but,
- 18:02Speaker 3: I mean, now they're going to ask you to pay
- 18:05Speaker 3: for some of the games. I know they've got a
- 18:07Speaker 3: couple of games this weekend. It was a game Thursday night.
- 18:10Speaker 3: That's Dallas. They're taking on Philly. And then the Chiefs
- 18:14Speaker 3: play on Friday. Now, you don't have to pay for that.
- 18:16Speaker 3: You can watch that one, I think, on YouTube. But
- 18:18Speaker 3: what's coming in the future is LA Carb football. You're
- 18:21Speaker 3: going to have to pay to watch these games. I'm
- 18:23Speaker 3: not paying. And I love football. I'm putting my foot
- 18:27Speaker 3: down and drawing a line in the sand because I
- 18:30Speaker 3: think that they have squeezed us enough. And you can't
- 18:32Speaker 3: go to these events anymore without having to take out
- 18:35Speaker 3: a loan. It's crazy, man. It really is crazy.
- 18:39Speaker 1: All right.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Before the break, I did say that they did do
- 18:41Speaker 3: a giant 34,000-page Department of Justice Epstein file dump. So 34,000 pages,
- 18:50Speaker 3: and I haven't read it in the last 95 seconds.
- 18:52Speaker 3: So what is up here is the House Oversight Committee released, again, 34,000
- 18:58Speaker 3: documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case on Tuesday night.
- 19:01Speaker 3: The surprise file dump came ahead of the expected House-wide
- 19:06Speaker 3: vote to formalize the committee's Epstein inquiry on Wednesday afternoon.
- 19:10Speaker 3: The vote was largely symbolic because they were going to
- 19:13Speaker 3: do it. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I've been
- 19:15Speaker 3: pretty firm on this. I mean, I think Trump has
- 19:17Speaker 3: done some remarkable things so far.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I do. I think if you gave him some truth serum,
- 19:24Speaker 3: he probably wishes that he could solve or have solved
- 19:27Speaker 3: the Ukraine war. And there's probably other some other things
- 19:30Speaker 3: he wish he could have done so far. I mean,
- 19:33Speaker 3: it's early. It's early on in the onset of his presidency.
- 19:35Speaker 3: But I think, and I've said this again a million times,
- 19:39Speaker 3: I'll say it again, he has to come clean on
- 19:43Speaker 3: all of the Epstein stuff. Now, it's a big deal.
- 19:47Speaker 3: It's kids. It's human children. It's the worst of the worst.
- 19:54Speaker 3: And he had talked about, and I always say this,
- 19:56Speaker 3: and I'm sorry if I'm sounding redundant, but he's said
- 19:58Speaker 3: this time and time again. And Trump, if you're listening,
- 20:00Speaker 3: I'll say it one more time. Man, you've got to
- 20:03Speaker 3: drain the swamp. You talked about it in the first
- 20:06Speaker 3: go around. You haven't talked too much about it this time.
- 20:08Speaker 3: By doing releasing the names of the people that are
- 20:12Speaker 3: on that list and on that island, man, that's the
- 20:15Speaker 3: fast-track way to drain the swamp. That's just one man's opinion.
- 20:18Speaker 3: So I would do it no matter what it hurts.
- 20:21Speaker 3: My name is Lee Elsey. You can email me, leelseyradio, gmail.com.

- 22:00Speaker 3: a half in, half hour to go on this September 2nd,
- 22:03Speaker 3: first live show of September. Wayne will be back tomorrow night.
- 22:08Speaker 3: I am honored to bring on my next guest. I
- 22:10Speaker 3: consider him a good friend. He ran for governor here
- 22:13Speaker 3: in the state of Connecticut a couple of times. And
- 22:16Speaker 3: he is an American businessman. He worked, he was the
- 22:21Speaker 3: executive of General Electric and 3i Group and UBS and
- 22:24Speaker 3: Dollar Financial and and some others. And he joins us
- 22:28Speaker 3: right now. And his name is Bob Stefanowski. Bob, what's happening,
- 22:31Speaker 3: my friend?
- 22:31Speaker 1: How are you?
- 22:31Speaker 5: Hello, my friend. I'm honored to be on. Congratulations. You're
- 22:37Speaker 5: coast to coast. Good for you.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Coast to coast with you, my friend. Let me ask
- 22:43Speaker 3: you a couple of things. Let me start really general. First,
- 22:47Speaker 3: I mean, you've been in business for, what, 50, 40 years,
- 22:50Speaker 3: 40 plus years.
- 22:51Speaker 5: And Yeah, longer than I could, wouldn't it?
- 22:58Speaker 3: I mean, there's political polarization going on in the U.S.
- 23:02Speaker 3: And when you were a CEO, I mean, that kind
- 23:06Speaker 3: of partisanship, does it affect the decisions that you make?
- 23:10Speaker 3: And how do you see it affecting some of the
- 23:12Speaker 3: decisions that some of these big businesses are making nowadays?
- 23:18Speaker 5: You know, Lee, I don't remember it being as polarized
- 23:21Speaker 5: as it is right now. I mean, you would always
- 23:23Speaker 5: have disagreements between the left and the right but but
- 23:27Speaker 5: the amount of emotion uh that's there even and i
- 23:31Speaker 5: i know you've talked about it even i've got three
- 23:33Speaker 5: daughters in their 20s even sitting down over dinner and
- 23:37Speaker 5: when the trump name comes up you can see the
- 23:40Speaker 5: kind of tenseness across the table and uh you know
- 23:45Speaker 5: listen whether whether you agree with donald trump or disagree
- 23:48Speaker 5: with him You have to admire the amount of energy
- 23:51Speaker 5: he's brought to this role. You know, you talk about
- 23:54Speaker 5: being a CEO. At least he's getting stuff done. You
- 23:58Speaker 5: may not agree with all of it, but at least
- 24:00Speaker 5: he's not taking three. I remember Barack Obama take three
- 24:03Speaker 5: week vacations and Martha's Vineyard during the summer. And Biden
- 24:07Speaker 5: went to Delaware, you know, lounging on the beach every weekend.
- 24:11Speaker 5: You have to admire the amount of effort that this
- 24:14Speaker 5: president's put into fixing the country. You really do.
- 24:17Speaker 3: It's every day, Bob. There's something he does every single
- 24:20Speaker 3: day that you sit up and go, oh, yeah, I
- 24:22Speaker 3: forgot about that. That's pretty amazing. You know, whether it
- 24:26Speaker 3: could be in any realm, but he's got so many.
- 24:29Speaker 3: It seems like he's got so many people coming up
- 24:32Speaker 3: with these creative ideas to try to work things out.
- 24:36Speaker 3: And like you said, I mean, that wasn't happening at
- 24:38Speaker 3: all during the Biden administration.
- 24:43Speaker 5: No, I mean, and the access. I mean, did you
- 24:45Speaker 5: see the cabinet meeting a week ago? It was a
- 24:49Speaker 5: four hour meeting. And, you know, I think Biden had
- 24:53Speaker 5: two cabinet meetings his entire term in office.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:57Speaker 5: And and again, that's what we're paying these people to do.
- 25:00Speaker 5: We're paying them to work for us. We're not paying
- 25:02Speaker 5: them to go to Delaware every weekend or vacation on
- 25:05Speaker 5: Martha's Vineyard. We're paying for them to get things done.
- 25:08Speaker 5: And and again, you may not agree with all of it.
- 25:12Speaker 5: But I think the Democrats, when they start coming down
- 25:15Speaker 5: against making our cities safer or controlling immigration or a
- 25:20Speaker 5: lot of the things that Donald Trump has fixed from
- 25:23Speaker 5: this Biden administration, I don't think they're playing a solid
- 25:27Speaker 5: hand right now, Leo. I really don't.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Talk to me about these trade policies. Now, we had
- 25:32Speaker 3: tariffs in place, and then the Supreme Court said no,
- 25:36Speaker 3: and now he's in appeal. So how would that, how
- 25:39Speaker 3: do you think that affects some of the bigger businesses
- 25:42Speaker 3: across the country?
- 25:46Speaker 5: Well, I saw the ruling last week. You know, hopefully
- 25:49Speaker 5: it goes to the next level and it gets back
- 25:52Speaker 5: on Trump's side. But I think the other thing this
- 25:54Speaker 5: president has done is, you know, he was elected by
- 25:58Speaker 5: the majority of the people to be president of the
- 26:01Speaker 5: United States. And he should have some power to get
- 26:04Speaker 5: his agenda done. That's what we voted for. We voted
- 26:06Speaker 5: for safe borders. We voted for lower taxes. We voted
- 26:10Speaker 5: for representation. And I think his second time around, he's
- 26:14Speaker 5: come in with a very different perspective, which he's in charge.
- 26:19Speaker 5: And I think that drives the Democrats crazy that they
- 26:21Speaker 5: can't control them. They can't pin him back. I was
- 26:25Speaker 5: never a massive fan of tariffs, to answer your question,
- 26:28Speaker 5: because if you believe classic economics, tariffs are not the
- 26:32Speaker 5: best thing in the world. You should really produce things
- 26:35Speaker 5: where they can be produced the cheapest. But I don't
- 26:38Speaker 5: think President Trump is using it from an economic perspective.
- 26:41Speaker 5: He's using it from a negotiation perspective. And there is
- 26:44Speaker 5: no one better. I don't know if you ever read
- 26:46Speaker 5: his book, The Art of the Deal. But if you haven't,
- 26:48Speaker 5: it's a 60, 90 page book. It'll take you one
- 26:51Speaker 5: weekend to read it. And the guy knows how to
- 26:54Speaker 5: use what leverage he has. And he's using tariffs, not
- 26:57Speaker 5: only as an economic lever, but also, you know, to
- 27:00Speaker 5: help end wars and to help have social policy. And
- 27:03Speaker 5: he's using the assets that he has available to him
- 27:07Speaker 5: to get his agenda through both the United States and globally.
- 27:11Speaker 5: And again, you have to admire it.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Former gubernatorial candidate businessman Bob Stefanowski is with us, always happy.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I know he's so busy, so he's carving out a
- 27:21Speaker 3: little time for me, and I appreciate that very much,
- 27:23Speaker 3: the political landscape of this. So, you know, Trump obviously
- 27:27Speaker 3: is in term number two, three, a little bit over
- 27:30Speaker 3: three years left. I know this is speculation, but what
- 27:34Speaker 3: do you think? What do you foresee coming up after this?
- 27:38Speaker 3: It does seem like right now, if you look at
- 27:40Speaker 3: the numbers, there are more people joining the Republican ranks
- 27:44Speaker 3: and people are fleeing the Democrat ranks. Can you feel
- 27:48Speaker 3: a shift in this country? And if so, what do
- 27:50Speaker 3: you think happens in 2028?
- 27:51Speaker 5: You know, on the one hand, Lee, I've been through it.
- 27:57Speaker 5: I ran for governor twice, and I can tell you
- 28:00Speaker 5: six months in politics is an eternity. It can be
- 28:03Speaker 5: a totally... a different landscape. But I'm in New York
- 28:07Speaker 5: City right now, and this Mayor Mondami, who was basically
- 28:11Speaker 5: a communist, is ahead in the polls. And it was interesting,
- 28:14Speaker 5: I saw George Will on one of the Sunday shows,
- 28:17Speaker 5: and strangely enough, he said, I hope Mondami wins. And
- 28:22Speaker 5: the interviewer said, why? He said, every once in a while,
- 28:25Speaker 5: we need a contained experiment in socialism to prove how
- 28:30Speaker 5: bad it is. So he said, it wouldn't be a
- 28:32Speaker 5: great thing for New York City. He said, but at
- 28:35Speaker 5: least it would be a recent, tangible example of how
- 28:38Speaker 5: these policies from these far left people like AOC and
- 28:43Speaker 5: Bernie Sanders and everybody else, because you can forget how
- 28:46Speaker 5: bad they are because they haven't been in power for
- 28:49Speaker 5: a while. And to have a tangible example of how
- 28:51Speaker 5: bad socialism is or how bad communism is wouldn't be
- 28:55Speaker 5: the worst thing. So sitting here today, Lee, things are
- 28:58Speaker 5: looking really good. For the Republican Party, my only proviso
- 29:02Speaker 5: is things can change quickly. It can really change on
- 29:04Speaker 5: a dime.
- 29:05Speaker 3: So I said the same thing about Mondami. It's almost
- 29:08Speaker 3: this implosions effect, if you will. I think that it
- 29:11Speaker 3: would be almost like watching a car wreck happen and
- 29:16Speaker 3: not good for New York or New York City. And
- 29:18Speaker 3: you're in New York City. You're working in New York
- 29:20Speaker 3: City nowadays. Does that does that put a little fear
- 29:23Speaker 3: in you? What would happen? on the grand scale when
- 29:27Speaker 3: it comes to what you got going on in New York?
- 29:32Speaker 5: It does. It does from a couple of perspectives. I mean,
- 29:35Speaker 5: my effective tax rate right now is probably 54%.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Wow.
- 29:39Speaker 5: When you put Connecticut state tax, I live in Connecticut,
- 29:42Speaker 5: I work in New York, so you got Connecticut state tax,
- 29:45Speaker 5: you got New York tax, you got New York City tax,
- 29:48Speaker 5: you've got sales taxes, you've got property taxes. My effective
- 29:52Speaker 5: tax rate is probably, if I added it all together,
- 29:54Speaker 5: it's probably close to 60%. And the potential new mayor
- 29:58Speaker 5: of New York, Mondami, says that's not high enough. He
- 30:01Speaker 5: wants it to be 80%. And what that will do,
- 30:04Speaker 5: and we've seen it over the years, and you're already
- 30:06Speaker 5: seeing it in places like Palm Beach and other places
- 30:09Speaker 5: in Florida, people will leave New York.
- 30:12Speaker 1: You look at.
- 30:13Speaker 5: Sean Hannity on Fox News. He said, I'm out of
- 30:15Speaker 5: New York. It's crazy. And what it's going to do
- 30:17Speaker 5: is it's going to drive people out of New York,
- 30:20Speaker 5: and it's going to reduce the tax base in the
- 30:22Speaker 5: long term. Next week is the 50th anniversary of the
- 30:26Speaker 5: Laffer Curve, my good buddy Art Laffer. And the higher
- 30:29Speaker 5: you raise taxes on people, the higher the tax rate.
- 30:31Speaker 5: It's been proven over the last 50 years, the higher
- 30:35Speaker 5: the tax rate, the lower the tax revenue you actually
- 30:37Speaker 5: get in because people leave. They'll flee to low tax areas.
- 30:40Speaker 5: And I think if Mondami wins, that's unfortunately what may
- 30:44Speaker 5: be coming to this city.
- 30:45Speaker 3: So are you happy with Trump reinstituting or continuing his
- 30:50Speaker 3: tax deal? I mean, you think that's good for the country,
- 30:52Speaker 3: what he's got put in place in the big, beautiful bill?
- 30:57Speaker 5: I think he does. I mean, I obviously am not
- 30:59Speaker 5: an expert on the bill. I'm sure there's some areas
- 31:01Speaker 5: in it that could be better or could be worse.
- 31:03Speaker 5: But it's certainly a move in the right direction. Again,
- 31:07Speaker 5: if you reduce taxes on corporations and you reduce taxes
- 31:11Speaker 5: on individuals, they're going to produce more. They're going to
- 31:14Speaker 5: consume more. That's going to produce more tax revenue. It's
- 31:17Speaker 5: been proven time after time after time. And I think
- 31:22Speaker 5: it's headed in the right direction. And you've got to
- 31:25Speaker 5: give Congress credit for getting it through. It'll be interesting
- 31:28Speaker 5: to see what happens in the midterms. I think if
- 31:30Speaker 5: the midterms were today, we'd be in great shape. But
- 31:33Speaker 5: you got to wait and see what happens. But I'll
- 31:36Speaker 5: tell you, Lee, it is very different. As you know,
- 31:38Speaker 5: I ran in 2022. The political sentiment right now, three
- 31:42Speaker 5: years later, couldn't be more different than it was back
- 31:45Speaker 5: in 2022. And I just hope it keeps going this way,
- 31:48Speaker 5: because for the first time in a long time, people
- 31:51Speaker 5: are saying America's back. They're feeling good about the country
- 31:54Speaker 5: and the way things are headed. And again, Trump isn't perfect.
- 31:57Speaker 5: No one is perfect. But as far as I'm concerned,
- 32:00Speaker 5: keep charging ahead.
- 32:00Speaker 3: You know, it's interesting when you ran in both times,
- 32:03Speaker 3: you know, you had to figure out a way to
- 32:05Speaker 3: navigate Trump because if you supported him, all the media
- 32:10Speaker 3: looked on you as a leper. And if you didn't
- 32:12Speaker 3: support him, then people who like Trump, then he then
- 32:15Speaker 3: they got angry with you. So you were in a
- 32:17Speaker 3: no win situation. It was an impossible box to get
- 32:20Speaker 3: out of. It's going to be very different, I think,
- 32:21Speaker 3: this time.
- 32:24Speaker 5: I think you're right. I think, you know, certainly on
- 32:26Speaker 5: a national level, Connecticut, as you know, is two to
- 32:29Speaker 5: one Democrat. So when President Trump endorsed me on Twitter
- 32:34Speaker 5: in 2018, you know, the ego side of me was
- 32:37Speaker 5: happy to get it.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 32:38Speaker 5: But I dropped a couple of points in the.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Poll.
- 32:44Speaker 5: But, you know, if you look at it on a
- 32:46Speaker 5: national level, you look at what he did in this
- 32:48Speaker 5: last election.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:50Speaker 5: There's a migration. You know, there's a polarization in states.
- 32:54Speaker 5: I know this is a national show, but you want
- 32:55Speaker 5: to talk about Connecticut. We're becoming the next state of California.
- 32:59Speaker 5: That's exactly where we're headed.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Can you hang on one more break with me?
- 33:06Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 33:07Speaker 3: All right. We'll come right back. Bob Stefanowski is our
- 33:10Speaker 3: special guest, former gubernatorial candidate. And we're chatting with him.
- 33:14Speaker 3: from New York City. We'll come right back. You can
- 33:16Speaker 3: watch us at the Gateway Pundit, untamednation.com, rootforamerica.com. Don't go anywhere.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Keep listening and watching The War Zone.

- 36:45Speaker 3: All right, everybody, welcome back. Warzone is the name of
- 36:48Speaker 3: the show. Last break of the show. Wayne will be
- 36:52Speaker 3: back tomorrow night. My special guest is Bob Stefanowski. We'll
- 36:55Speaker 3: get to him in one second. This segment is brought
- 36:58Speaker 3: to you by Energize Health. It'll change your life. It
- 37:01Speaker 3: changed Wayne's life. He lost 25 pounds of fat, including
- 37:04Speaker 3: that dangerous inner body visceral fat. He gained 10 pounds
- 37:08Speaker 3: of muscle and inner cellular hydration in only 88 days. Now,
- 37:12Speaker 3: over four years later, he says he feels great. the
- 37:15Speaker 3: best he's felt in his entire life, and he gives
- 37:17Speaker 3: all the credit to Energize Health. Energize Health is not
- 37:20Speaker 3: a traditional weight loss program. The program is simple, easy, healthy,
- 37:24Speaker 3: based on the foundation of the life game changers, extra
- 37:29Speaker 3: and intracellular hydration. Here's your chance to be like Wayne.

- 37:36Speaker 3: just like it did for Wayne Allen Root right now.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Energize Health is offering a 40% off war discount. 40% off.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Just say war. Go to energizedhealth.com. That's energizedhealth.com. My friend
- 37:48Speaker 3: Bob Stefanowski is with us. So, Bob, we don't have
- 37:51Speaker 3: a lot of time left, but anything in the world
- 37:54Speaker 3: of AI that you see that's incredibly interesting, or at
- 37:59Speaker 3: least from the business standpoint that you guys are focused
- 38:03Speaker 3: in on? I mean, AI and and all that it
- 38:05Speaker 3: has can do seemingly do just about anything nowadays. Are
- 38:07Speaker 3: you guys using this a lot in, in the business
- 38:10Speaker 3: world now?
- 38:13Speaker 5: I haven't started yet, Lee. I mean, I know it's
- 38:16Speaker 5: out there for old guys like us. It's, it's tough
- 38:18Speaker 5: to understand. I'll tell you, and you know me, I'm
- 38:21Speaker 5: not a big conspiracy theorist, but I do worry about
- 38:25Speaker 5: the small chance of it taking over. Did, did you
- 38:27Speaker 5: see the story where, uh, They were threatening to turn
- 38:31Speaker 5: off one of the systems, and the system went through
- 38:33Speaker 5: the emails of the company. I don't know whether that's
- 38:37Speaker 5: true or not, but you could see the intent of
- 38:40Speaker 5: these systems is to serve humanity and serve the better good. Therefore,
- 38:44Speaker 5: they need to survive to be able to do that.
- 38:46Speaker 5: You could see a scenario where there would be a
- 38:49Speaker 5: self-preservation mode. I'm old enough to remember the movie, what
- 38:52Speaker 5: is it, 2001 A Space Odyssey?
- 38:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:55Speaker 5: When they say, I'll turn off the computer. I'm sorry,
- 38:58Speaker 5: I'm not turning myself off. So I know I didn't
- 39:01Speaker 5: answer your question, but it's a bit scary, don't you think, Lee?
- 39:05Speaker 3: I do. And I think, yeah, and that story that
- 39:07Speaker 3: you referenced actually did happen. It was also, it found
- 39:11Speaker 3: ways around the normal protocol to try to keep itself on.
- 39:16Speaker 3: It also went through people's emails to try to blackmail them.
- 39:20Speaker 3: I don't know if you saw that, but it went
- 39:21Speaker 3: through different emails of people in the office space and
- 39:26Speaker 3: it figured out that, you know, Joe Smith was having
- 39:28Speaker 3: an affair with the Marie Kelly and it threatened to
- 39:32Speaker 3: blackmail them. So it's crazy. Yeah, I'm with you. I mean,
- 39:35Speaker 3: it can do incredible things, but it just it gets
- 39:39Speaker 3: it gets more, let's say, impactful, smarter every single day.
- 39:42Speaker 3: And before too long, it'll be smarter than us for sure.
- 39:45Speaker 3: So I get what you're saying. It can be a
- 39:47Speaker 3: scary scene for sure. I wanted to ask you one
- 39:51Speaker 3: final thing. No, I'm sorry. Go ahead.
- 39:57Speaker 1: No, you go.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Go.
- 39:58Speaker 3: No, I wanted to ask you because we're going to
- 39:59Speaker 3: run out of time. I know you're a huge Giant fan.
- 40:02Speaker 3: The rumor is you put a large wager on the
- 40:03Speaker 3: New York Giants. Is that out of insanity or pure loyalty?
- 40:06Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 40:09Speaker 5: Well, I do have $ 100 on them to win the
- 40:11Speaker 5: Super Bowl. A good friend of mine placed the bet.
- 40:15Speaker 5: I'll also reveal that this good friend of mine and
- 40:17Speaker 5: I are going to opening day against the Chiefs, and
- 40:19Speaker 5: those tickets are selling for $ 3, 000 a ticket. I heard
- 40:23Speaker 5: your comment earlier about the price of sports. It's out
- 40:26Speaker 5: of control.
- 40:28Speaker 3: So we're going to the Chiefs and the Giants, and
- 40:32Speaker 3: you promised me that I'd be sitting right next to
- 40:34Speaker 3: Taylor Swift, but now she's essentially engaged, so I have
- 40:37Speaker 3: to work extra hard. to to move the needle but
- 40:41Speaker 3: i mean you're telling me i'm going to be right
- 40:42Speaker 3: next to her but they're going on the open market
- 40:44Speaker 3: 3 000 bucks a ticket really.
- 40:49Speaker 5: Yeah i've had season tickets for a long time so
- 40:52Speaker 5: i'm in row three on the 50 yard line yeah
- 40:54Speaker 5: and before the broadcast i looked up row two on
- 40:57Speaker 5: the 50 yard line and those are 3 300 a
- 40:59Speaker 5: ticket so if you get 3 000 a ticket for
- 41:00Speaker 5: ours we'll be Maybe we'll skip the game, we'll go
- 41:05Speaker 5: to Foxwoods, and we'll see what we can do.
- 41:07Speaker 3: I like it. We'll double it up. We'll clean up.
- 41:10Speaker 3: We'll have a blast. There you go.
- 41:12Speaker 1: There you go. All right.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Listen, I'm almost out of time. I want to thank you.
- 41:16Speaker 3: I can't thank you enough for hanging out with us.
- 41:18Speaker 3: There's so much going on. Do you want to tell us,
- 41:20Speaker 3: just real quick, what are you up to now, if
- 41:22Speaker 3: you want to share that with everybody?
- 41:26Speaker 5: I'm getting old, Lee. I'm doing some work for a company,
- 41:30Speaker 5: believe it or not. In Saudi Arabia, we're building a
- 41:34Speaker 5: new city called Neom. Terrific project. I'm staying involved in politics,
- 41:39Speaker 5: trying to do what I can in Connecticut, and playing
- 41:43Speaker 5: a lot of golf, Lee.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Not that I'm getting any better, but we're playing a
- 41:46Speaker 3: lot of golf.
- 41:46Speaker 1: No, no.
- 41:46Speaker 3: You're very good. You're scary good. You're playing too much now.
- 41:51Speaker 3: You're playing too much.
- 41:52Speaker 1: All right.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I know you've got to go. Keep up the good work, Lee.
- 41:55Speaker 5: Spread the word.
- 41:56Speaker 3: I can't thank you enough, brother. Thank you so much
- 41:58Speaker 3: for coming on. And I appreciate you coming on with
- 42:00Speaker 3: us tonight. And I'll talk to you soon. I'll give
- 42:02Speaker 3: you a shot later on. That's Bob Stefanowski again. And Bob,
- 42:08Speaker 3: you see things in politics. And it's one of the
- 42:12Speaker 3: great disasters in the state of Connecticut is the fact
- 42:15Speaker 3: that that guy didn't win the election. Because not only
- 42:19Speaker 3: is he genuine and legit. and basically wanted to run
- 42:23Speaker 3: just because he wanted to do good. He doesn't need
- 42:25Speaker 3: the money. He doesn't need the fame. He doesn't need
- 42:27Speaker 3: the recognition. He just wanted to do good for the state.
- 42:30Speaker 3: And those people are few and far between, so kudos
- 42:33Speaker 3: to him, and I thank you for coming on. Listen,
- 42:35Speaker 3: I had a blast going in this past week. I
- 42:38Speaker 3: think I'm back on a little later on in the
- 42:40Speaker 3: month for a couple of days. But the great Wayne
- 42:42Speaker 3: Allen Root is back tomorrow night. I'm sure he'll be tan, ready, rested.
- 42:49Speaker 3: and all set to rock and roll. Thanks to the
- 42:50Speaker 3: boys behind the scenes. I can't thank you enough, both
- 42:53Speaker 3: Untamed Nation and the folks on the radio side of it.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Enjoy doing it, and we'll catch up again.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Down the road.
- 42:58Speaker 3: Thanks, everybody, out there for watching and listening. Keep it
- 43:00Speaker 3: right here on The War Zone.
- 43:01Speaker 1: See you.
