- 1:13[SPEAKER_07]: I feel like if you keep flipping back and forth though between the four of us This feels like January fifth.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_07]: They all met together for a peaceful protest at the Capitol
- 1:24[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, we're, this is fucking full J six up here with the four of us.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_07]: Holy shit.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_07]: They don't look at all this man.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_07]: My God.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_09]: We are storm something right now.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_09]: It feels like it does.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_07]: All right, let's do it.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_07]: It feels like we're all extras in a, in a Spike Lee movie where the clan comes out.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_08]: Oh shit.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_07]: birth of a nation birth of a minute yeah exactly first first movie ever I want to start with you you have seen legends but you lost a lot man I mean it's just it's rare that we have a loser on the show you know what I'm saying what he's never wanted championship
- 1:59[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, like it is rare.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_07]: I've said this to Forest.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_07]: Griffin, when he was on the show too, it was just like, man, remember that time you cried out to you, Lost?
- 2:06[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, what was that?
- 2:08[SPEAKER_07]: You know, what was that like?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_07]: I'm totally kidding.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_07]: You're on that side of the table saying say whatever the fuck I want right now.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, for now.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_07]: Eventually, the show won and I'll take off through the back of the show.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, I'll have one spectacularly and Forest was one of those and I've lost the same way.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_09]: So we either won the madam cry.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_09]: That was my fun.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, thank you.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_11]: The Anderson too.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_11]: He was at a stretch where he was real emotional.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_11]: That was the one.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_12]: I think when you're that invested, dude.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_12]: Man, it sucks to lose.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_07]: It does.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_07]: And I was asking for us about it.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_07]: And I kept saying over and over again throughout the show.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_07]: What do you think?
- 2:41[SPEAKER_07]: Ten, twelve times about how we cried.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_07]: Like over and over again.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_07]: And probably by like the the eighth or ninth time, he was like, hey man, like I think I've had enough.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_07]: And I was like,
- 2:51[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think you have, like go into that crying.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_07]: You were close though.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_07]: You were very close.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_09]: My career is pretty weird when I was supposed to lose I won when I was supposed to win I lost whatever but it was always entertaining.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_07]: It was always entertaining and you were a fan favorite.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_09]: How'd you get into fighting?
- 3:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_09]: How'd I get into fighting?
- 3:11[SPEAKER_09]: Why just saw the early USC and like I just wanted like fuck I watched to me and Rocky I guess Rocky to me times I want to do that I can do that I know how to wrestle these guys boys grades just shooting a stupid take down I can do that Yeah, and yeah Yeah, so yeah, so we want to like improve something to myself and everybody else in it like they're defining
- 3:30[SPEAKER_07]: and chuckle nails a good buddy of ours uh... and he hit me up earlier and he goes uh... tell him that split decision was bullshit uh... i'm just saying i'm just saying no i bet he didn't say that he didn't say that he's just one of the the best guys there he's no g man he's got to look after that guy
- 3:54[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_09]: How does that fight wasn't fair, man?
- 3:57[SPEAKER_09]: That's what it is in the sportswear.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_09]: Like, you had a young hungry guy, man, against a veteran right there, just trying to hold on, you know, like, you got such an advantage being there, just fighting a monster's easy, man.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, fine.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_07]: Because a lot of people we've had over the years, who do we have on a couple of weeks ago, Michael Chandler?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_07]: He was coming off a loss as well.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_07]: I gave him the same intro.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_07]: It did help, you know?
- 4:17[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_07]: A loser?
- 4:18[SPEAKER_07]: He called the loser.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_07]: He said UFC loser, and it was two weeks after he lost the patty.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_12]: He's a super nice guy.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_09]: If you lose, you better lose spectacularly, you know?
- 4:26[SPEAKER_09]: I agree.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, Chandler hasn't had any boring fights either.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_12]: I mean, that's what, like, that's the weird thing about, that's a weird thing about fight.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_12]: Like, people gave the Patriots a lot of shit over the years for being a boring teams.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_12]: Like, well, they got six rings, you know what I mean?
- 4:40[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, but I would never.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_12]: But then I didn't want to watch it.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_12]: I didn't, like, we went to that last Super Bowl there and it fucking sucked.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_12]: I'd say watch two dudes fucking light each other up.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_12]: I don't think shit wins.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_09]: You know when I was when I was first fighting this is a true true story when I was first fighting my first fighting the UFC
- 4:57[SPEAKER_09]: I was really more concerned with having a boring fight than losing a goddamn fight.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_09]: And that's true.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know why, it's because you come from a humble background and you see your fighting in front of thousands of people, millions of people, and I'm getting paid because you guys are watching me.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_09]: So I told my first fight, you know what I said, I told the week I'll drop my corner man.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, between rounds, like a day before the fight, if it's a boring fight, I want you to tell me.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_09]: And like, no, no, no, no, I want you to tell me it's a boring fight.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_09]: And then, uh, then after the first round, whatever, hey, so how's the fight?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_06]: Did he ever say was boring?
- 5:31[SPEAKER_09]: No, no, no, this is funny.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_06]: Did he did?
- 5:33[SPEAKER_06]: Were you like, man, fuck you.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, he's his, no, because he knew if you told him.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_12]: He, there was a fucking boring fight.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_12]: He would have gone for a week.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_12]: I would have gone retarded for sure, for sure.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_07]: I love full read.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_07]: It's the best.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_07]: Who is it, Delco that went full retard towards the end?
- 5:48[SPEAKER_07]: Were they just stood in the middle of the ring?
- 5:50[SPEAKER_07]: Tony Ferguson.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_12]: There we have Tony Ferguson.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_12]: Good God.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen anybody take shots like that.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think I saw this all the way in Justin Gage.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's an episode.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_12]: All three of those guys that we just mentioned by the way, not one boring fight in any other career.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_07]: Because Holloway's about to fight, uh, what, poury a cup of, like, that's poury as last one.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_07]: Tomorrow, tomorrow, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a cup of, poury a
- 6:12[SPEAKER_12]: And then that is tomorrow.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_12]: Sure.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_07]: It is.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_07]: So we're going to get predictions here in a minute.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_07]: But with for you, you started off in mixed martial arts and then I know you better from movies.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_07]: And how did you switch from UFC over to movies because you've done a million as funny.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_11]: You know, we're talking earlier.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_11]: I'm sorry.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_11]: Thanks.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_11]: There you go.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you get into a position where you were talking about when you started wrestling and you know, and his late twenties or whatever, it's like, everybody now is twelve years old.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_11]: That's in the UFC right before they started.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_11]: And like, like, starting to Jitsu is like, um, twenty-seven years old.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_11]: And if you wanted to learn Jiu Jitsu, you'd better move to Miami to Brazil to somewhere in the Southern Coast, California, or as Hanzo had just started a place in New York.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_11]: And there's like, there's like, and there was nobody, there was everybody in the United States that was like American wrestlers.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_11]: And so then the advantage was the American wrestlers that were down at Jackson's were moving that dial forward.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_11]: But he's talking about Greg Jackson.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_12]: And then some guys come up with Southern California to a couple years later, now everybody's here.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_11]: Everybody's everywhere.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_12]: It's weird.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, you could find, you could plant plants all in every state in the union and you never had that before, but um, and so there's a time limit on whatever you do, whether whatever it is you're doing almost like I kind of admire, right?
- 7:43[SPEAKER_12]: We don't say time limit, you mean you can only do it.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_11]: Communions can do comedians shit for their whole fucking life.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_12]: Yes.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_11]: But if you're going to go out and be a gun fighter, you only got so many days of that.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_11]: If you're going to go out and be a fighter, you only got, if you're going to go be a stuntman, you only got so many, like, there's a, there's a time limit on these things.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_11]: And so when your expiration date comes up, then there's a choice of like, well, who am I going to be now in the lights go off?
- 8:03[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_11]: And then I was just, you know, and what I was doing at that time, too, was like, I was teaching.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_11]: I'd started a gym.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_11]: I was doing bodyguard work, and there's got to walk in the gym.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_11]: There was an ex-games athlete named Baron Prescott, and he was running a movie called Paul, and he fell in love with Jiu Jitsu, and we're training every day, and then,
- 8:22[SPEAKER_11]: He was like, hey man, would you like to do this thing?
- 8:23[SPEAKER_11]: And a lot of I did this thing a long time ago with this guy, I'm locked down and that guy ended up being, uh, he was a Navy seal that was running it named Kifelard and, um, he was in Darren's group and they were buddies and so that's kind of where I started going into films.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_11]: That must have been two thousand and ten or something like that.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_11]: And then after that, it's like I only knew just one way, you know, you throw your hat over the fence, then you gotta go get your hat.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_11]: You know, it's like, you know, I'm just gonna, you know, Darren was like, it was after the two thousand eight crash and all that and he was like, dude, don't quit anything you're doing because I know people losing their homes.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_11]: And I was like, I don't know how it's to do it except just to go after it and go and introduce myself to guys and go, hey man, I'm in the room now if you guys
- 9:03[SPEAKER_07]: and always be prepared to pivot.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_07]: I've told the audience this for a long time because it's hard to give up a career that you love and then pivot into something else, want it scary, too.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_07]: You don't know if it's going to work.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_07]: Acting and directing and writing, which we'll get into in a minute, is a whole nother fucking.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_07]: bag of politics that you're like, all right, shit.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_07]: And you got to take every gig there is.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_07]: Keith, you and I were together on range fifteen.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_07]: So I remember directing you in that.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_07]: You were lovely and we've always, you know, had a great time and all that other shit and, you know, you continued into that world.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_07]: You continued into that world.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_07]: That was a nice little paycheck back then.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_07]: For sure, right?
- 9:46[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks, thank you.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_07]: We trying to pay
- 9:48[SPEAKER_07]: We try to pay everybody pretty pretty good on those.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_07]: Even for an Andy, you know, because I was an independent film.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_07]: And with that though, you get so much experience, especially in an independent, big budget movies you're kind of sitting around all day.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_07]: Independent, you're actually doing shit.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: You're on a real fourteen.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: Fifteen hours today.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_07]: And it's awesome.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_11]: What was your first one that really kind of flipped the switch for you where you were like I could do this Yeah, the very first time I ever I mean I was in this I was I was running security at a nightclub and and all masterpiece dudes came in and they go they're doing no limit films Make them say oh
- 10:30[SPEAKER_11]: I went in and there was a prison movie called Lockdown.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_11]: It's like, I got to fall off the third tier of a prison cell.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_11]: I got to get in a lot of, I was like, wow, this fucking dope.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_11]: And then Keith said afterwards, dude, I got a guest house in Woodland Hills.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_11]: You come out and stay.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_11]: There's a lot of work out here.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_11]: And this is like around ninety nine or two thousand.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_11]: And I was like, man, I'm just a kid from Michigan.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_11]: Like, I'm going to be in movies.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_11]: That's ridiculous.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_11]: I only got to work this one job.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_11]: And I'm doing this wrestling thing because I was wrestling all over the country at that point.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_11]: I do introduce you, and I thought I really liked this.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_11]: But thanks a lot for the pipe dream, but I'll see you around.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_11]: And then, like, I don't know, ten years later, you know, that whole thing passes out.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_11]: And I'm on equalizer and Keith will large the guy that's run an equalizer too.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_11]: And, and I was like, hey, you know who you are to me?
- 11:13[SPEAKER_11]: You think I got a sad card through it, right?
- 11:15[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_12]: I mean, a lot of stuff around that same time period.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_12]: Two guns, equalizer, a million ways to die in the West, I mean, a bunch of, like, yeah.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_12]: But tens of was your first movie?
- 11:24[SPEAKER_12]: breaking bad breaking bad.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, no, no master P was my first.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, master P was your first and then equalizer.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, then I later I down the road.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_11]: I was like kind of wildfire some shitty TV show that I did There's a few different things that I that I got involved with but it just seemed unrealistic until I met Darren and then Paul was the first thing that I really did Paul was a movie with Simon Pegg about a alien going across the desert and motorhome Huh
- 11:48[SPEAKER_11]: and did some stuff on there and then I went into red dawn and Detroit we filmed that a couple months later and I thought this might really work and then I got a job on Jonah Hacks the director's pick me for that and I mean you look like a mean bastard so somebody's trying to cast a mean bastard you got to let go yeah man it's uh it's uh it's a skill set that you just can't just get overnight you know
- 12:08[SPEAKER_07]: No, but also you need an every single film.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_07]: So it's something that will never go away.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_12]: If you got like a Russian bus or a bad guy look or a tough guy look, you can you can get work.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_11]: And then it's like then the next thing comes, you know, whatever it was you used to love doing, you know, there's a bad look.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_11]: later like I don't I don't love like bodyguarding it's great to do that travel all over to but after a while it's like fuck this isn't I don't want to be doing this in ten years yeah and so like where's and so the same thing with playing a bad guy or whatever all the time it's like if that doesn't get more interesting to me
- 12:42[SPEAKER_11]: I got to move on somewhere else and I think that's really where the thing with Keith writing and you know I've gotten her right around that time Keith started writing right around that time going if you really want agency in this world you need to be in creation and like if you're working for Fox News doing this fucking show it's a different show than if you're doing this show sure
- 13:00[SPEAKER_11]: right and so the same thing in film is like if you're waiting for the phone to bring to get to somebody else's party that's a different kind of excitement enthusiasm you have about the work you're doing you know yeah you're making a living but are you making a living with your brothers with like the thing that this is what I want to do beyond everything else and for me
- 13:17[SPEAKER_11]: I was at a lot of times in my life when I was doing that, but really until I, you know, we put together a short while ago that Keith wrote, and it's like doing that for a couple days was the best time that I'd had on, and I was like, oh, this is all I want to do.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_11]: I want to make films with my friends.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_11]: And I've been on the biggest shows in the world, and the best shows in the world to do are the ones that you put together with your friends.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, like Jumanji, is that fun at all?
- 13:41[SPEAKER_07]: Because it's, you know, CGI and it's all green screen and you're on a sound stage and all that.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that was cool.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_11]: I like that a lot.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_11]: You know, when we did, uh, was the other one, Jurassic World?
- 13:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I just saw the remake with my kid last weekend.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_11]: We lived across the street from the, from the, from the, the surfers and, and why Kiki.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_11]: And so every morning we go and surf for a couple hours.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_11]: We'd have a nice breakfast, get in the van, go to the jungle, go and pretend to kill dinosaurs, go back, go to sleep, go surf for a month.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_11]: That was our, that was a great game.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_11]: It's like this stuff like that, this does rad.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_09]: That was a stunt job and then stunt job, different acting jobs.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_09]: I remember we got off the plane and there was a couple actors there and we're so excited we're there like how are you guys going to be?
- 14:25[SPEAKER_09]: We're here till Saturday or whatever.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_09]: How long are you guys going to be here?
- 14:29[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know like next month.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_07]: That's a job you don't want to leave.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_07]: If you're in Hawaii, you're like, cool, let's get going here.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_11]: And then we shared on that.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_11]: And so Jared Shaw is a good buddy of ours that was working with Chris at that time.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_11]: And Chris Pratt?
- 14:44[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_11]: And Jared brought terminal lists because he was in the service with Jack Carr.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_11]: And he brought that to Chris.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_11]: So he was pretty strong, terminally.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_11]: And it's like all these things are just interwoven.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, that was a cool show for a lot of reasons.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_12]: What's it's I got you got to expect it one or both you guys is going to be in one of these episodes at some point because they're not going to be different.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that was my rule.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_11]: I was like man, I'm on my way.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_11]: I'm on a plane right now Jared.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_11]: I can't do it, but because who else is a good fighter that I go cowboy don't do it.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, now he's doing his own Western now.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, yeah, so yeah, that's right now.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I'll break it right here.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_09]: I got a really good.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_09]: There we go.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_09]: A burger right here.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_09]: I got a really good part on terminal list.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_09]: That's time for season two.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_09]: Season two and possibly season three.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_09]: There we go.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_09]: That's dope dude.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_09]: Jack is an amazing dude.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_09]: I got a picture with him.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_09]: I hung out with him for a while man.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_09]: I just like he's such a cool dude.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_09]: He's such a real dude.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_07]: Jack got a guy on the planet like he's just genuine because a lot of people ask like guests on the show.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_07]: They're like, is genuine real life and I'm like, someone we don't know where it's like.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_07]: Okay cool.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_07]: Jack though is just a genuine.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_07]: Anytime Jack comes around.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_12]: He's always got a gift and it's usually whiskey.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_12]: Almost always from Willy Blazer's place up there.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_12]: You've been in a bunch.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_12]: Godless is one of my, for many series.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_12]: Godless was fucked.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, it's right.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_12]: Godless is such an underrated series.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_12]: It's so good.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_11]: You see that scene that he did when he's at the poker table?
- 16:10[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_11]: Incredible.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_11]: I'll add, like, it's amazing.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_09]: That was awesome.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_09]: That was awesome.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_09]: Half of that was improv.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_09]: That's true.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_09]: How'd that go?
- 16:20[SPEAKER_09]: So all the gang members, there's five core members of the gang.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_09]: Have you seen Godless?
- 16:25[SPEAKER_09]: Oh yeah.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_09]: Jeff Daniels and fans.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_09]: That's very good.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_09]: The five core members are really great actors and we're kind of bummed out like we're here or maybe like these guys are you know from New York and LA and like we don't have many lines and we all read for the same part and when we did the part they broke it all up.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_09]: up a bunch of other people.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_09]: So they had us come in on Saturday to rehearse the scene.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_09]: And so they have me sit and tell you, okay, we're going to have you do this.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, you do it.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_09]: And the director, everybody's watching and Jeff Daniels was there.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_09]: Everybody in the room.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_09]: And I just started doing it.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_09]: I started flowing and making shit up and all that stuff.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, that's it.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_09]: We're gonna go with that and like I was so nervous coming up.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_09]: I thought that we're gonna break that up again and it's like, oh, I don't know.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_07]: And you don't know until the edit comes out.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_07]: So you got to wait until it airs and you're like, oh, shit, it actually made it.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_07]: That's sweet.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_07]: That's amazing.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_07]: And because of your friendship, I'm sure you guys are able to hook up on different jobs and like you were saying earlier.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_07]: Like, all right, cool man, I can't do this, but cowboy can or Keith can or somebody can.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_09]: That happens to us all the time.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, man.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_09]: We're pretty much interchangeable.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_09]: We've been in movies together, like jazz work, like public ten times, down in the pictures series, all that.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_11]: And then whenever you're going to move, you're like, John Lee.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_11]: Hey Pete, how are you doing?
- 17:37[SPEAKER_11]: And now I just go with it, and I pretend I'm Keith Gerdine.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, well, no.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_09]: I have it all the time.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_09]: I just go, people will talk to me.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_09]: I have no idea who they are.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_09]: I think they, they think I'm taking my camera away.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_11]: It's a great conversation last time.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_11]: I have a word for it.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_11]: And okay, yeah, cool, man.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_07]: But he lost in the US, you see, too.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_07]: So it's like, you know, it's the same guy.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_07]: It's the same guy in a lot of ways.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_07]: I'm looking to get knocked out today.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_07]: Do you think I feel it?
- 17:58[SPEAKER_07]: We'll see it totally.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_07]: It is.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_12]: You got to think that there's going to be like the the pathway from sports to entertainment has always been there, right?
- 18:07[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 18:18[SPEAKER_12]: I mean the rock I mean all these guys like there's it's it's performance Jim Brown dude.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_09]: He was a great action man, and that's what I think people I get my pet peeves and you see it all the time people transition from like fighting like or whatever like WWE guys all them went and went into do their own production and stuff but
- 18:39[SPEAKER_09]: They weren't really good actors, and they didn't take the art seriously.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_09]: You had to put your time in and you had to do it.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_07]: John, I can say John Cena takes it seriously.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_07]: The rock takes it seriously.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_07]: But he still takes it seriously.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_07]: He's dope.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_07]: He's the best out of those hearing.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_12]: That's an actor you mean?
- 18:53[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_11]: I think he has the way he approaches as an artist.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_12]: He's done probably more serious shit.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_12]: I like John Cena the most because he's a fucking ridiculous person.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_12]: What's the name of that show piece maker?
- 19:03[SPEAKER_12]: That's the best thing he's ever done.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_11]: But that's him apart from anything he's ever done before.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_11]: That's the evolution where he popped into another strategy season two coming out pretty soon.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I can't wait for that one.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_12]: It's really good.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so let's go through some of the hits here.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_07]: If you don't mind, I'll start with you.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_07]: Obviously, Equalizer, which I talked about earlier, did you get to, did you guys stay on set to watch them work?
- 19:28[SPEAKER_07]: Because watching Denzel, you're in another fucking planet.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_07]: Did you guys stay in video village and watch Denzel watching some work?
- 19:34[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_07]: Equalizer?
- 19:36[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, whenever I was at work, yeah, otherwise I was in...
- 19:40[SPEAKER_11]: the hotel or we, you know, going to Boston or whatever.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_07]: How great is that fucking guy?
- 19:44[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it's tremendous to just to be around him.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_11]: His aura is like, I mean, it's like, you know, there's people that you're around where you just like, you feel loved by that person.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_11]: And you feel like in ours, like he's like that.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_11]: He's a, he's another kind of dude and, and he's adult because he
- 19:59[SPEAKER_11]: Three of the guys that were with them had been with them for thirty years or something like that, right?
- 20:02[SPEAKER_11]: His wardrobe guy, his hair guy, and a security guy.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_12]: Family guy.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_11]: And it's like, this is a guy that like, who else can I trust?
- 20:08[SPEAKER_11]: But these guys before I was the didzel that you know were with me, right?
- 20:11[SPEAKER_11]: He's a guy that can't go into Whole Foods, right?
- 20:13[SPEAKER_11]: He can't go anywhere.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_12]: No, that didn't be less.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_11]: And to see his excellence, everybody told me when I was on set with that, like all the choreographers and stuff and they go, dude, don't talk to him.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_11]: Just be like this really yeah, they go you know, I'm just trying to make rent you know what I mean and he goes
- 20:43[SPEAKER_11]: We go up to several times for a couple of weeks because we're out there for a while.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, you want to rehearse this big fight scene big fight now.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_11]: We'll look at it.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_11]: You know, it can send me videos over whatever.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, okay, and and he wouldn't and people are going to fuck man.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_11]: We got to go and see never know how like an actor like that is going to move and all that kind of stuff and whatever and on on the day.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_11]: We go in and we're there and Denzel comes in early and all the guys tell me not to talk to him are not there.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_11]: But here's me and D and goes, hey man, so what are we doing?
- 21:15[SPEAKER_11]: Well, it goes like this and then you're gonna grab my head and it's gonna go through the whole thing with him.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_11]: He moves pretty good, you know, he boxes and stuff.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, and I go I go right on right and and I go and here's where we'll go the ground and then right then play font now who is his double walks in and and he goes oh yeah we'll go over this and then I go over with clay and and it's just like I coached a lot in my life and like and I'm just coaching Denzel through what this fight is and he's been in a lot of he's been he's coachable right and which is cool because a lot of guys aren't coachable right you know and that's a whole another problem but he was is great then all my guys walking they go
- 21:48[SPEAKER_11]: You talked to him?
- 21:48[SPEAKER_11]: Like, and I, yeah, yeah, just because he has a fucking nerd.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that'd just be a normal guy.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, and all the people in Hollywood that I would be worried about offending by talking to them.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_12]: He's not one of them.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, he's like that dude.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_12]: He does shit on the slie all the time.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_12]: He like fucking paid off some VA building somewhere.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_07]: It's also an athlete.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_07]: He was running bad for an HBCU.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, wasn't he in Duane's show?
- 22:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_07]: He's a great actor.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_07]: He's working a lot now.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_11]: I forget his name, but yeah, I remember admiring him in that show.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_07]: He was really nominated Bob.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_07]: I think last year for Golden Globe, I believe, if you look up Denzel's Kid.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_07]: Do you play Ice Cube?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_12]: No, John David Washington was the name guy in tenet.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_12]: Remember that movie?
- 22:32[SPEAKER_12]: Yep.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_12]: That's him.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_12]: He's really good.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_12]: You know, that movie was fucking crazy.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_12]: I still don't know what the fuck it was all about, but the acting is really good.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_05]: You wanted that?
- 22:40[SPEAKER_05]: He got a Tom for Black Clansory.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yes.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, Black Clansory.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_07]: He got a nomination for Black Clansory.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_12]: He's really good actor.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_07]: He's fantastic, breaking bad.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_07]: How was that?
- 22:53[SPEAKER_07]: Were you aware of how big the series was at the time and everything else?
- 22:56[SPEAKER_07]: No, I never watched it and then I called Keith and I was like, hey, what?
- 22:59[SPEAKER_11]: Because you haven't watched it's the best show on TV.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_11]: I was like, on then I watched it before I had to go to set and
- 23:08[SPEAKER_11]: and I was like dope and and I didn't really realize all the hype about it about you know the coolest thing about that show the very coolest thing is that uh... jessie uh... plums yes or not jessie plums uh... he was here's the killer later uh... jessie the character uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh
- 23:27[SPEAKER_11]: We're there and the graphic guy going you know when Aaron Paul was here like the for the for the first thing we're doing and and it's season one and he's taken all the sandwiches he can back to like and he's just like I got no money and he was broke or he is yeah, you know I'm gonna go ahead and shoot this and I already know I die in this he's supposed to die in the first thing Indiana
- 23:49[SPEAKER_11]: And when I get this money, this money will move me.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_11]: And then the writer strike happens.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_11]: And the internet is viral at that time.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_11]: It just happened.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_11]: And fucking boom, everybody goes on there what they love.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_11]: I love this guy.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_11]: And so they write him out for the next five years.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_11]: And then he's the lead of a Spielberg movie when he's done with that.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_11]: And that's the thing about like, you don't know where life takes you.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_11]: When you try to, I want to design an outcome or whatever.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_11]: It's like fuck, I don't know, do what you love.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_11]: And follow that thing with all the vigor of the moments that you got right now.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_11]: and be left satisfied with that moment, move the fuck on.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_11]: You don't know what's going to happen, what comes next, you know?
- 24:23[SPEAKER_07]: And you can't control if it's going to be good or bad.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_07]: But those guys can fuck it all up, editor, sound, man.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_11]: is pervasive everywhere.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you see it in fight or early on.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_11]: And the most no women's ever going to fight, there will never be a woman at day and what's swear to that, never ever.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_11]: And then in walks want round or else.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_11]: But during that time for the ten years before that, I'm seeing Michelle Waters and at the gym every day, homes at the gym every day, those kids, he's at the gym every day.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_11]: They're at Nick Nat because that's like these women that there's never going to be an output for are there every day.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_11]: John Dodson fighting at one twenty five.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_11]: You'll never be in the, it's one fifty five is the lightweight.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_11]: You'll never be in the, and they come because that's the dream.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_12]: and then the dream pops in front of them where the dream didn't exist yesterday and that's a fucking beautiful thing to behold when you start when you're awake the life if you're not sleepwalking through this happen a lot now with the I guess you could call the decentralization of media independent stuff used to be independent stuff but it was still funded in a lot of ways by rich people right now we can see a yeah you see idea that's not forget the big dogs
- 25:24[SPEAKER_08]: Exactly dude.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_12]: He's talking about Operation mockingbird.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, wherever you guys are, right?
- 25:30[SPEAKER_07]: They listen every shit.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_07]: You might be in the room.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_07]: Cool.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_07]: I'm the cool.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_12]: But now like I mean we made the highest grossing independent film of twenty sixteen you were in it.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I've ranged to see the high-scroating and a pit of film a twenty-two is just a bunch of nuts.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't believe in that at all.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_07]: I can tell the story now, but when I got the contract for that, they were like, hey, they saw one of them moves on Netflix.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_07]: They were like, dude, you're the guy.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_07]: We needed to write, you know, direct and starring this producer.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, all right, cool.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't even negotiate back-end point.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_07]: I was just like five points is fine.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, I don't fucking cat.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, I guess I, I didn't know.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_07]: And I was like, it was all military veterans.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_07]: And then we were gonna stack the cast, which I did.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I put Sean Assen and everybody else in there.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_12]: Well, I'm shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and shot in the room and
- 26:23[SPEAKER_07]: Probably and like dude looking back you're like cuz you really don't know and What it's gonna be you know, you're painted up like a zombie And it's just like all right we had a lot of fun look trails got gutting it out Yeah, but it was like dude do I think this is gonna and I had no idea and then Nick Paul Machano hit me up afterwards cuz I think the box office was number three
- 26:44[SPEAKER_07]: And it was the summer.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: It was nuts.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_07]: It was just like it was the summer too where you were just like, oh shit, I'm looking at the numbers.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_07]: And I was like, god damn, and Nick Palmishano calls me and he goes, I bet you wish you would ask for more back points.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_07]: And I was like, dude, I had no fucking idea.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_07]: Well, because I was all funded through, uh, go find me.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_07]: And you go, yeah.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, no regardless of all that.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_12]: You can do stuff now.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_12]: You can just decide to do something and go do it now.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_12]: You have the tools to do it.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_12]: People, there's another, what movie just came out that was completely shot on iPhone.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_12]: It was a big feature.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, there was a movie called Tangerine.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no one this year.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_07]: No, no.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_07]: I don't, I don't want this year.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_07]: But like years ago, the first one was a movie called Tangerine.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_07]: That was a twenty go stand.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but it goes to Sundance.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_07]: It wins Sundance.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_12]: Oh, twenty eight, you've made a huge distribution.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_12]: Twenty eight years later was shot on iPhone.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we're completely on an iPhone.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_07]: It wasn't, it shouldn't have spent some of that money on the script.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, whatever.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, not going to say anything more than that.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_07]: But with you, I want to switch to you because you're one of my favorite movies of all time.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_07]: McGrooper like I've watched McGrooper fucking twenty twenty five times in my life and God damn it dude.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_07]: It's it's just my faith it's one of my faves I went and saw I just to go see movies all the time in LA when I was you know doing rewrites or directing shit or whatever just to kind of get out of my own head I'd go by myself and just sit in a cold dark theater.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so everybody can ask him if I'd
- 28:10[SPEAKER_07]: rewrote this movie or wrote to movie or whatever and finally I was like I was like fucking my group or so I went on a Sunday afternoon I met the grove in LA and that movie theater at the grove there's maybe twenty people in there I'm the only one laughing at the
- 28:25[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm laughing so hard.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_07]: There was the scene where you guys are all getting ready and then the whole fucking van blows up.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_07]: You know, there's a symbol in the team together and then everybody fucking dies.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_07]: And I am laughing my fucking ass off.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_07]: And people in the theater were literally staring at me like I was retarded.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_07]: And they were like, what is so fucking funny about this goddamn movie?
- 28:45[SPEAKER_07]: It's become a huge cult classic.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_07]: Then they do a series after that.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_09]: Well, that's my big things.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_09]: I'm in the first episode of the series.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_07]: And so it's like, dude, with with with McGroober.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't think that movie because it didn't do well.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't think you would do anything else without I loved it.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_07]: And then it becomes the series and then the series does really well on peacock in all that shit.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_07]: And it's like, what the fuck?
- 29:06[SPEAKER_07]: So how is it like working with him on McGroober?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_09]: Well, what that is, that's here's pertinent for right now, too.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_09]: You're going to cone as a writer, director of that.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_09]: He's a S&L writer, wonderful human.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_09]: Wait, y'all wrote that, uh, Yorma?
- 29:20[SPEAKER_12]: Oh, really?
- 29:20[SPEAKER_12]: I didn't.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, yeah.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, Yorma took on that one of the guys from my lowly island.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_09]: He's really funny.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_11]: Well, it's so crazy story.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_09]: Well, yeah, so I did that bit for him as a super fun man.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_09]: Well, it was a hard, hard fucking day that I'll tell you what, but um, but yeah, he's got a movie coming out right now called Over Your Dead Body.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_09]: And because of that scene, this is a great movie.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_09]: And he fought for me to get in this movie.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_09]: I'm a lead in this movie.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_09]: He's coming out in a few months.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_09]: I'm with Jason Skal, Julia Lewis, a Timothy Alphant, and Samara Weaving.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_07]: Dude, that's awesome, man.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_09]: And like, my bit's like crazy, man.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_09]: Like, so you're, um, you know, like he could have got because of this cast.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_09]: He could have got anybody.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, yes.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_09]: So he got me and I got in there and he had had a twist of arms.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_07]: But, um, it was all because of a Gerbert?
- 30:06[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_07]: No shit.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_07]: You really don't know.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_09]: No, you don't know, man.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_07]: And you got to treat every job seriously because you really don't fucking know.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_09]: The test screenings on me have been through the roof on this and when I first got there when I did the first scene like it was like it wasn't really that big of a deal.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_09]: I just say a couple of words and something funny, right?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_09]: But but then everybody's like high-fiving and like yeah, you have to be having a ground like what's going on right?
- 30:29[SPEAKER_09]: I don't understand.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_09]: And it's because his nuts were in the vice on this thing because he went to bat for me and all the producers there and all that.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_11]: And everybody wanted somebody else.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_09]: And then he's the one.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_09]: He's the one.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_09]: He's the one.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_09]: And it was like that.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_09]: And then the whole show just got funnier and funnier and it was great man.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_11]: And he got to be in Finland for the whole shoot.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_09]: And then the whole way.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_09]: Month and a half.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_09]: We have a fucking dream to go on the hot, go on the sauna's every fucking day.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_09]: I'd have the other have the driver.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_09]: The, you know, sauna public sauna's everywhere.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_09]: You're just going to sign on and you go jumping in the ice cold river as it's beautiful.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_09]: Like in a bar.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_11]: You're in a really nice bar with the whole thing and you're eating sushi or whatever.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_11]: And then back here is the is the sonnus.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_11]: And there's a whole other room full like three different sonnus.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_11]: And then you go jumping the river that's going by that's forty degrees.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_09]: That's definitely.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_09]: It's fucking dope.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, Julie.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_09]: This was amazing.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_09]: We were buzz and take came out to visit me.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_09]: And so I took him to the bus.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_07]: She's the fucking bastard.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_07]: She's the fucking bastard.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, yeah So I take comes out and visit visits me and it's so I take them to So there's all these really cool fancy son is right?
- 31:33[SPEAKER_09]: We took them to the fancy son of two and there's there's the other ones that are back like hundred people in the public son and and all that
- 31:39[SPEAKER_09]: So I take them to the OG one that's been around for a hundred years.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_09]: I go to this one more and anyway.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_09]: So it's like this really skinny room.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_09]: You get in there like this old house and but this hotter than hell man.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_09]: You go up these stairs and there's like like ten naked finished people all men just sitting there naked.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_09]: It was one of what you think because the first night didn't take came hey, we're gonna go to the sauna after a trip in the airport basically Welcome to Finland here's twelve dicks It's hot man.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_09]: It's two hundred degrees like I'm about to have a panic attack in there You know what I mean and these guys is the place where guys wear hats because it's a hot and it's fucking dangerously fucking hot
- 32:20[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_09]: Cool.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_09]: So I'm glad you like that.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_09]: You almost love that was a fun shoot ever man like you know you did a good job when when they're laughing at a video village.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_09]: You know what I mean.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, dude.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_07]: And because I love your laughs.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_06]: I love the film.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_07]: I love the film.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_07]: I love the series and it was one of those things that for me personally just could have kept going on forever.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_07]: But for whatever member I think peacock was new.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_07]: um as a streaming app at that time and uh they weren't really sure they were gonna do and everything else so like each season was in danger I think they might do too I believe before they killed it but uh but man it was one of my favorite characters of all time I love Will Fortae
- 33:00[SPEAKER_07]: I heard nothing but nice things about him and yeah, Julia Lewis, by the way, is fucking hilarious.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_07]: I did a movie that was in Sundance and we were sitting next to each other at Sundance and she taps me in the middle of the movie.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_07]: She goes, hey, Ross, you fucking like this movie.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_07]: And I go, no, I think if fucking sucks and she goes, it's goddamn awful.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_07]: And I mean the whole the whole theater's quiet and it's you can just hear her she's just not give a fuck about anything Yeah, yeah, that's not good.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's not good.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_07]: What we're doing here But it's fun and and then these people go on and do these things where you're like all right
- 33:40[SPEAKER_07]: is your career over is it not over and then yellow jackics comes out for her and it explodes again where you're just like holy shit when on writer was the same way she was also in that movie and you're like there's a dead period and then boom stranger things comes out bob you just saw the new trailer for season four how is it are five five five five yeah fucking rad got they haven't missed on any of those uh Linda Hamilton's citing
- 34:03[SPEAKER_11]: In stranger things?
- 34:03[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you can buy the strangest things house in Albuquerque.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_11]: Is it for sale right now?
- 34:09[SPEAKER_12]: How much is it?
- 34:09[SPEAKER_12]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_12]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_12]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_07]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_07]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_07]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_12]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_12]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_11]: We should buy the house in Albuquerque
- 34:31[SPEAKER_11]: So you were there for the pizza scene?
- 34:33[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_07]: That's why everybody goes and sees that house is because of that one episode.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_12]: I know the fans have got so little fucking crazy.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_07]: I made gigantic fan of that show and like, yeah, it's one of those, even as an actor, you check out of it and you're just watching as a fan.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_07]: So like, dude, I did not miss, I was live.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_07]: Like, you know, nine o'clock, dude, me and my wife were just live watching this like, or I think they need to bring that back.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_11]: I like the, the Moncados for me and John Carlos there, my favorite part.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_12]: That's me too for sure.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_12]: Esposito's great and everything he's ever been in.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_11]: Like he's never been there.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_11]: There's not all the sudden guy.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_11]: Right?
- 35:05[SPEAKER_11]: No, all the sudden you're great.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_11]: You know what though?
- 35:08[SPEAKER_11]: You look at clips of Miami Vice in, in nineteen eighty four.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_11]: And he's like he's like the valet.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_11]: Same thing with like there's all that stuff.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_11]: People been grinding this stone for a long time.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_12]: Same thing with Sam Jackson though.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_12]: Yep.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_12]: Like he got famous at forty three.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_12]: But he had done some he was in good fellows.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, he was the junky and good fellows.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_09]: Coming to America.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_12]: He was, I mean, he was obviously a good actor.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_12]: He just didn't hit.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_12]: And then I think die hard for him.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_09]: But you put that a lot.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_09]: Like, you come to a certain age where, well, like, you hit, right?
- 35:36[SPEAKER_09]: Like, me ten years ago, like, I don't think that guy's very interesting, right?
- 35:39[SPEAKER_09]: But like, now things are hitting for me, right?
- 35:40[SPEAKER_09]: So it's just like, you age into a certain, right?
- 35:42[SPEAKER_09]: This is the best version of yourself for, for TV or for movies, you know what I mean?
- 35:47[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_07]: But you don't know it until it happens.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_07]: Exactly, right?
- 35:49[SPEAKER_09]: And then what Tay says it seems like, and that's, you know, you made it when it seems like all the sudden success and like whatever.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_07]: And overnight,
- 35:55[SPEAKER_07]: success that took fifteen years.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, but the thing is is that's in your head that you know you got to unlearn things like these old ideas that you're born you're too late.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_11]: You're a little too late to be a fighter.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_11]: I'm sorry.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, you're a little too late for this.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_09]: I said that let me when I started.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, I said you're too old to start.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_11]: Everything is like that.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_11]: And then you either do or don't, right?
- 36:14[SPEAKER_11]: And the thing is, like, look at all the golden girls.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_11]: Show me a picture of one of those broads when they're young.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_11]: There's not, you know what I mean?
- 36:19[SPEAKER_11]: It's like, it doesn't, it's like, there's a spot that's available to you if you love what you're doing.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_11]: They'll fit you perfectly when the time meets opportunity, you know?
- 36:27[SPEAKER_12]: You also shouldn't think of ceilings as a thing.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_12]: If you look at, we've talked about this before pretty recently actually.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_12]: If you look at the athletic performance at the Olympics from like, nineteen, eight or whatever.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_12]: Ninety, even nineteen, fifty, but especially today.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_11]: leaps and bounds the four-minute mile shit like that probably the fastest man in the world is in nineteen four two thousand two thousand two hundred people didn't think that it was possible it's like no it's possible you can do it he's got a fucking safe internet change that yeah I mean the first time John Jones came into the gym and I go that we watched him because I think Nate Mark or he fought on that card with Anderson and and do John whoop stuff in bonnet like
- 37:07[SPEAKER_11]: like throwing elbows from across the room and and and soup flexing them and and I never I was like God sevens a great athlete is a big guy and I've never seen him I was like I was watching it handled and then John a few months later he comes down the gym and and go hey we're going to learn my time from you know because I know he's from upstate New York and he goes uh... he looks at me this nice young kid humble face and he goes you tube and her sense of a video you're kidding you tube and I believe tape and I was like that is I would want I was I was like
- 37:36[SPEAKER_11]: Every I know travels to San Francisco, you're going to the Netherlands, you're going somewhere to go, you know, you're going to Holland to fight, you're going to Thailand, and all of you too, and so that changed things.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_11]: You look at what Homeboy ran up and WC and ran along the fancy, and he kicked, right?
- 37:52[SPEAKER_11]: I wish I could remember his name right now.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_11]: Awesome athlete, but then after that people see that and they go, oh, that's possible.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_11]: I'll do that.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_11]: You know, skateboarding, all these things blew up because the internet, because the human mind saw that happen, it goes, I could recreate that.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_12]: Anthony Pettis.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_11]: Anthony Pettis.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that's right.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_11]: That was a great one.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_11]: Oh man.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_11]: What's that?
- 38:09[SPEAKER_12]: So he's another guy that like, when last record is so so, but God damn, I don't know what that dude fight.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_12]: Let me watch him fight every single time, you know what I mean?
- 38:17[SPEAKER_07]: And then talking, you know, speaking to the pivot here, like, because I was doing films and all of this stuff for years, I pivoted in a podcast in twenty fifteen agents managers were like, you're fucking out of your mind dude, what are you just going to go talk in your garage?
- 38:30[SPEAKER_07]: And I was like, yeah, man, I guess.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_07]: So I was like, I believe in this.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_07]: So whatever.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_07]: So it's like, even gigs that I get offered now.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, no, I'm not going to leave the audience.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_07]: We built like I'd be letting them down and everything else.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_07]: And also like,
- 38:42[SPEAKER_07]: It have to be Captain America or something to pay me with the fucking hot gas panes so there's not no there's not a prayer I'm going back but always be prepared to pivot because you don't know what it is I can remember when I switched with scariest shit and then everybody told me management wise agency wise and everything else
- 38:58[SPEAKER_07]: Why would you do this?
- 38:59[SPEAKER_07]: You're fucking loser.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_07]: This is this is stupid.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, then four or five years ago, they start calling CA.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_12]: They call on like, hey, we need ten percent of these like, yes.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_07]: No, we sell your advertising.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_07]: And I go, no man, where were you five years ago?
- 39:11[SPEAKER_07]: Shit's great now.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_12]: And then the part of it is also being on the ladder.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_12]: Like people think because they're at the bottom of the ladder that they're not doing well.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_12]: Like no, you're on the ladder.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_11]: You're either in the conversation or your spectator.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_11]: And if you're in the conversation man, that's a win and just stay the course.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, but I recognize that about pivoting and doing that in a thousand fifteen like I talked to people like
- 39:32[SPEAKER_09]: Like, what are you doing right now?
- 39:34[SPEAKER_09]: Like, like, say in two thousand, like, eighteen or nineteen, if I didn't start writing them, like, where would I be right now?
- 39:40[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I mean.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_07]: Writing and producing.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_07]: So like, that was one of the things I asked in my first movie ago.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_07]: How do I have longevity in this business?
- 39:48[SPEAKER_07]: And I shadowed these producers on the first big budget, you know, feature that I was lead in and all the other stuff.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_07]: And they go, if you really want to learn.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_07]: You're now to come every single day and go to every single thing.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_07]: And I was like, what does that require?
- 39:59[SPEAKER_07]: So I sat there in video village every day that I wasn't on set.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_07]: Even though it was a lead, I watched everybody else's scenes.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_07]: I went to every writer's meeting.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_07]: After the movie was over, I sat in the edits.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_07]: I watched the edits.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_07]: I went to the test screenings.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_07]: I went to pitch meetings for scripts.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_07]: And I learned how to write.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_07]: I learned how to direct.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_07]: I learned how to produce.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_07]: So it wasn't just acting that at that point.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_07]: And then it saved me throughout my career because like there's down period where you're not getting gigs, but I was getting ton of writing gigs.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_07]: And then that shot up.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_07]: And then I was directing and then producing other things.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_07]: So like, you know, if I didn't do that early on, I'd have been fucked.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_07]: And then when you touch yourself all the tools.

- 50:59[SPEAKER_07]: But going back to that?
- 51:00[SPEAKER_07]: Do you know what the first movie was that I went on a pitch meeting for after that film was over?
- 51:03[SPEAKER_07]: The movie called Miracle.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_07]: And I sat there there was eight studios.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_07]: It was Kurt Russell.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_07]: It's both Miracle and I went with them and I pretended to be their assistant and take notes with these producers.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_07]: They pitched it all over town.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_07]: Seven out of eight studios said no.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_07]: Two of them said, this is a fucking TV movie.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_07]: You're not going to make any money.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_07]: You should just throw this script out the fucking window.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_07]: Disney was the last one, and Disney was like, all right, great.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_07]: We can make this.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_07]: We can make it a certain budget.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_07]: I think it was thirty million dollars, and they go, they handed over a list.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_07]: And they gave, you get one of these ten names.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_07]: We'll make this movie in three months.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_07]: And they were like, great.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_07]: So they took the ten names, got her Russell, and then, boom.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_07]: Miracle exploded.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, and then I ended up working for one of those studio heads later, and I go, hey, dude, I was the one pretending to be that assistant in that room when you turned down Miracle, and he goes, god damn it, man.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_07]: Because I can't believe I fucking passed on that.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_07]: But you just never know, right?
- 51:57[SPEAKER_07]: And so you have to teach yourself.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_07]: And with you guys, are you directing and writing this movie?
- 52:01[SPEAKER_07]: That's coming out.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_09]: I wrote, dragged and everything.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_09]: I want to talk with pitchman.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_09]: Because it goes what we're saying.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_09]: I went to LA for a pitchman and it goes with everything we're saying about preparing and doing you work and all that.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_09]: I went to a pitchman and I went to a pitchman with a studio and about a Western I had.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_09]: And I go and sit down and I'm saying a room full of all these people.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_09]: I'm kind of nervous.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_09]: This is my first time in doing a pitch.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_09]: And the first thing they said to me is like, okay, we're working on a Western series.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_09]: So we're not really interested in Western right now.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_09]: We read it.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_09]: It's great.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_09]: But so what else do you got?
- 52:33[SPEAKER_09]: Right?
- 52:33[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_09]: What if I just sit on my hand?
- 52:37[SPEAKER_09]: Like, no, okay, cool.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we've got to have five other patients ready to get this.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_09]: I got this and I got that and yeah.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_09]: And so yeah, wrote and direct.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_09]: Well, with that, what's the name of it?
- 52:49[SPEAKER_09]: I kill me again.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_07]: Kill me again.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_07]: What is it?
- 52:51[SPEAKER_07]: What is it?
- 52:52[SPEAKER_07]: Come out, you think?
- 52:52[SPEAKER_07]: August eight.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_07]: August eight.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_09]: August eight.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_09]: We're in theaters on August eight and wherever you rent stuff.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_09]: Amazon Apple, all that.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_09]: So wherever you get it, it's on that.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, so I have a script that the studio wanted to do.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_09]: It's a space in the MMA world a little bit.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_09]: It's not MMA, it's a space in the MMA world.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, yeah, we like this a lot, but and as a go, but who's going to direct it and whose producer goes clearly not going to be me.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_09]: So during the strike, I wanted to, okay, so I need to, I have a short that did really well.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_09]: One lot of awards, best director, best actor, been four time academy qualifying festivals and all that.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_09]: But that's not enough.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_09]: So what can I do that I can do that I can get made?
- 53:34[SPEAKER_09]: So in August I August a couple of years ago I come with this idea like what do I do?
- 53:39[SPEAKER_09]: What do I do?
- 53:39[SPEAKER_09]: I've got this I want to be high concepts something that sells in like two sentences and it's got to be it's got to be interesting time loop movie time I love time loops
- 53:50[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, groundhogs day that that kind of stuff.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_07]: I like that Tom Cruise one.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_07]: That's a best one.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_09]: That's a best one here, dude.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_09]: By far every type of account and you get a new.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I've been making another one.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_09]: It's been out forever.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_09]: They've had the script forever, I guess.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_09]: And I think they're finally making a trailer sat me down at four a.m.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_07]: in his fucking house.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_07]: He's just got a four K TV.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to watch it.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_09]: And that's the pitch, right?
- 54:32[SPEAKER_09]: And that's what I've learned about this business too.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_09]: You got to be able to sell this movie right away.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_09]: I'm talking to somebody.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, it's a groundhog's day, but I'm protecting this serial killer.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, that's interesting.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_09]: You got to get that interest right away.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_09]: You can't talk for five minutes to say.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_09]: But then then you end this happens and whatever.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, that's interesting.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_09]: You'll never get that far.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_09]: Anyway, so I started right in the beginning of it in the end of it in August.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_09]: And it just for some reason, it just flowed out at that point.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_09]: And I started
- 54:57[SPEAKER_09]: Raising money.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_09]: I started hiring crew.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_09]: I started getting budgets.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_09]: I started doing that whole thing.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm going to shoot this in November.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_09]: This is the August.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_09]: So eight weeks.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_09]: Essentially you've got a pre-production.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_09]: My cinematographer over this time.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_09]: I'm going to say, no, we're going to shoot this in November.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_09]: And I only have the beginning of the end.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_09]: I got Brendan Fair, the actor.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_09]: He's amazing.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_09]: He read the first really bad draft.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_09]: This is good.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_09]: I want to do this.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_09]: And then, so I just hammered away, just trying to ride it, trying to ride it, time moves really hard, man.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_09]: You got to get all the math and content right on the continuity, all that.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_09]: And then, so, so we didn't shoot on November, we shot in December, but if I didn't say November, it would have been January, February, March, you know what I mean?
- 55:38[SPEAKER_07]: You got to force it.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_07]: And I've forced a couple as well.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_07]: Because if you don't, you don't know if there's people going to be there.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_07]: I remember Brendan back in the day.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_07]: He was on a show called Roswell.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_12]: For like fucking.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_07]: All the teenagers used to roll around the other back in the day.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_07]: So I remember Brendan.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_07]: He's a good guy.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_09]: Good guy, man.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_09]: Even in the trailer we watch wait to see him in this man like he sell he does the impossible man.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_09]: He gets it's he deleted this he's a lead he's in every fucking scene man and he really went crazy on this he went met the man and that's cliché to say about what he really went he became another character and he studied for for months before and
- 56:20[SPEAKER_09]: Is this diabolical and twisted and in so many levels on this he's up and down and all this and he sells everything man in the twist at the end.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_09]: It's really cool.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_09]: But I couldn't be luckier than him to go to bat with me on this.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_07]: I'm looking at him a shell water sin obviously Coward Soronies in it you're in it obviously
- 56:41[SPEAKER_09]: But I make all these people interesting people, like, I don't care about taking, coming in and being an MMA guy, whatever, whatever.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_09]: He's a fucking fried cook man.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_09]: He's an interesting Russian fucking fried cook.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_09]: Ted is.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_09]: Michelle's a frickin' nurse man.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_09]: Cal, what comes in?
- 56:55[SPEAKER_09]: He's a cop.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_09]: A Maurice comes in.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_09]: He's a cop, you know.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_07]: Oh yeah, Morris Green is in his Bob puts put the poster on on camera here, so everybody can see the home.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_11]: And Matthew Page, you know, who maybe has, what's his name?
- 57:07[SPEAKER_07]: Matthew Page is in that circle.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah dude.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_11]: He kills it.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_09]: He kills it.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_11]: He's so funny, Hammond David.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_11]: David, nobody knows David yet, but he's maybe one of the best ones.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_11]: He's incredible to watch.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_11]: And the synergy that you have together, it's so fucking good.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_09]: They wanted to do like spin-offs of every single scoop of characters that had in the movie.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_09]: They were so funny and so fucking good man.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_09]: So is this your final poster here?
- 57:33[SPEAKER_09]: Bob will blow that up.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_05]: There you go.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_05]: Far right Bob.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I got it.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_05]: It's just low-res.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_07]: Zoom out.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_07]: There you go.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_07]: Boom.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_07]: That's Brendan.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_07]: That's the diner.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_07]: That's a great poster too.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_07]: Um, so how many theaters did you guys get?
- 57:47[SPEAKER_07]: You know, Jen, you know, you're in theater counting at five.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know the count for August.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_09]: We're in a bit.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_09]: Like, I'm just going to go viral though, even though we're, we're on rental and all that stuff.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_09]: We're, we're going to be theaters are out August.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_07]: That's awesome.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_07]: Because I'm ants to see it, man, because let's face it.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_07]: There isn't a ton of movies that are out.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_07]: And especially in the indie world.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, what's up with summer this year?
- 58:08[SPEAKER_12]: You know, summer there's blockbusters, like the Minecraft movie was pretty good.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_07]: They're, they're all not.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_07]: I haven't seen any.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_07]: But here's the thing, it's, it's Jurassic Park again.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_07]: But it's just Scarlett Johansson.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_09]: We need to research the nineties of the independent films, man.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_09]: I think it's there.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_09]: I think the audience is there.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_09]: It's just like, what does it audience?
- 58:24[SPEAKER_09]: What does it like say, Warner Bros.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_09]: Billings of dollars a day?
- 58:28[SPEAKER_09]: What do they care about making twenty million dollars on a movie?
- 58:30[SPEAKER_09]: They got a real big every time.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_07]: They do not care.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_07]: And so it's all about IP.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_12]: They're also dependent on the Chinese market too, because that's like eighty percent of their market right now.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_12]: Superhero shit always.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_07]: And then you have all these mergers that are happening.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_07]: And I told the audiences for a long time that they were going to get rid of late night television.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_07]: Colbert got fired yesterday ironically I said that on the yesterday show too, but before it happens because they got bought out by everybody's online right now saying this is political political It's not one is ratings for dog shit too They just got sold so CBS got sold two paramount so paramount is gonna fold into paramount plus that is Taylor Sheridan's network that is it like
- 59:10[SPEAKER_07]: that is his world there and then those guys who bought it on the back end do all the time cruise movies so do all the mission possible true grit they do human lockbuster movies that's what they do so yeah they don't give a fuck I have a good mix in the studio though right like you should the blockbusters are great we all love it we love fucking rambo and rocky man that's what we hope on but you got to do yet you also have to instead of just
- 59:33[SPEAKER_12]: putting out ten of those in a year and hoping to hit.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_12]: You have to find good and dependent dudes that can make shit for five, fifteen, twenty million bucks.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_09]: I was like, when a Nora came out, like, um, yep, baby driver came out.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_09]: I guess that's a big movie, but like, strange darling, that's a good one.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_09]: They really got way.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_07]: Well, Nora won shit every Oscar there was last year.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_09]: And he would've just been a great movie, but it would've just been an average movie in the nineties.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_07]: It was an average movie now for me.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_07]: No, it didn't say, because I'm not in the industry anymore, so I give a fuck.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_09]: Well, it was great for me just because it was different and it was back to independent films and I like the side character of the balancer or that guy.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_07]: There was some cool characters.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_07]: But a lot of those people were that.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, so to why.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, it inspired me to write one of my scripts actually.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_09]: I did it really?
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_09]: No shit.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_09]: That's what I'm pushing right now.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_07]: That's awesome.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_07]: But with the TV world, I think that's a whole new opening for you guys where look, you become a regular on a terminalist or something like that.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, that's, that's where the real money is right now.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_11]: Streaming episodic because TV world's going the only reason TV's around is because big pharma funds it Right, there's no there's no the reason big pharma life sports otherwise that shit, so that's about you know all those people that watch that are about to die yeah, and so in one generation
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_11]: or last that'll be gone and so it's just an episode and what happens with these streamers you know I mean that's the crazy part is like when they're talking about a couple years ago they're a bitch and about like oh you don't pay enough residuals out here because we don't see your actual streams and all that kind of stuff and they're like well that's proprietary information but it's not just proprietary information just because they don't want to pay us residuals right here information because if you really knew your streams then somebody goes to prison
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_11]: because you're offsetting your your dollars for your shareholders and like it becomes a whole another like and so that is going to explode one day.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_09]: This is the new like late night TV though.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm a hundred percent.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_07]: And I knew it, you know, a long time ago.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's so great.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_07]: We were in the fucking garage for many years before, you know, you have all this shit, right?
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_07]: So you got to believe in yourself, you got to be prepared to pivot and then stick with it, too.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_07]: Like, just because I see like podcasts too, like, you'd be even big podcasters who were like, man, my dream was to go back to movies and was like, cool man, so you're going to burn your entire podcast audience.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_07]: So you spent years building.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_07]: And those guys supported you and helped you and the communities helped you.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_07]: And then you're just going to leave and do some fucking, you know,
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_12]: do shit movie like whatever it is for some guy you don't even care about all right yeah I'm not gonna say who they are but that's just ego I want to see my face on a big screen somewhere you know what I mean I get it yeah like you want your you want your art to be consumed that that's that's a big part of it you do but like
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_07]: After years of where we're on for tizzer tenth year now.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_07]: After ten years dude, I'm not going to fucking burn down the audience just because I want to go to like a claim invited me to do with lethal weapon on Fox.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_07]: You know, he's like dude come do a couple shows and I'm like three weeks in my life that I would not do podcast and we're on every single day.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm like dude, I'm not going to leave Dan or my audience just because
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_07]: It would look cool for a couple of weeks on TV, like, that's it.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_07]: So, yeah.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_07]: And for you guys, this is now your life.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_07]: So, that's, there's always a new crop of talent coming up.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_07]: So, it's like, awesome, man.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_07]: So, you guys make the cool movies.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_09]: So, no pivot.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_09]: Like, what you say, we're talking about, we don't care about the big IPs and all that too.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_09]: Like, we're doing this, I mean, I'm sure I work with a studio.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_09]: We're doing this outside of the studio.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_09]: Like, we're doing it.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_09]: We just put this together and made it and it's gonna be great.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_09]: But I think this is the world I wanna live in.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_09]: I wanna live in.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_09]: My dream is people say oh, it's a key charting film.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_09]: I'm interested in that.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, and this right now for me this is the world I want to live in and it's like you try your best every single day to make that world happen.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yep, and that's all you can really do.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, there's there is one IP thing that I would like to see get made or time I'd Denzel before
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_12]: a prequel series to a man on fire where John creases characters in the agency and he's a fuck off people.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_11]: How good was series that would be?
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_11]: I want to see a prequel of the usual suspects.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_11]: When that shit right and it's a possible now like just get that spacey because you're so safe bring it back to space.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_07]: I wish you never left.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, everybody else is too man.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_12]: He's the only guy in Hollywood calling for the obscene files I run.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_12]: Who cares because he's like, I did what I wanted.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_12]: Oh, no, but I was like, I was a little pervert on mainstream.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_12]: You guys, you guys, you got to have the chaos base.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_07]: You guys, you got to have the chaos base.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, dude.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_07]: Did you get a spacey story?
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_07]: This is my favorite of all time.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_07]: Do it a few minutes.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_07]: Please.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_07]: So the doc comes out on HBO and he's with his dude who was a Marine and he takes his Marine to see saving private Ryan on opening nights.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_07]: And he fucking pulls his pants down and wants to get jacked off, right?
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_07]: So he puts the Marines hand there or whatever.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_07]: You guys know the opening twenty minutes of saving private Ryan.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_07]: That's the most intense shit of any movie made on the street.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_07]: sitting in the front of my seat totally yeah and Kevin Spacey all he wants is a he's got a fucking rock hard owner and he wants to get jacked off and so they were like what did you do and he goes well I moved my hand away like I you know I didn't want to I don't want to jack I'm not gay I don't want to jack him off or whatever and he goes what do you do yeah yeah what do you do and he goes I finish
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_07]: If you guys kept spacing fucking jacked himself off came all over himself and then just sat there and watched the three-hour movie dude.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_07]: Come all over his fucking shirt if you get a boner during that scene I say you got to finish.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_12]: Why can't not get a boner during that scene?
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_11]: And that is our advertisement for Bluetooth.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_09]: Well, just by sitting there, he was assisting, I guess.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, sometimes he's got to be in the room in the couch area.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_07]: It's all in.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_07]: It's all in.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_07]: What a hard scene to jack off to though, man.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_07]: I'd be like jacking off to Eastern promises when Vigo Morton says he's going to have a big dinner room or a bone tomahawk.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_07]: Oh god, that's seen a bone-tomahawk still hunts my dreams forever, dude.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_07]: I laughed the whole time.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_12]: I was the same way that you laughed a gasehat.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_12]: Whenever I see brutal shit, it makes me laugh.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_07]: I was with my parents and I didn't know what I was washing.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_07]: It was just, you know, it was an indie.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_07]: We rendered it off of a video on demand and then all of a sudden, dude, that fucking, you know, axe comes in and they start, have you seen, have you guys seen a bone-tomahawk?
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, then I'm not gonna run it.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_07]: Let's just say, you know what I'm talking about, right?
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_07]: Oh god.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_12]: It's brutal.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think I've ever seen anybody die when they started their team in Balsak.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_07]: And then go straight down there.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I don't know that there's any real good Vlad the impaler movies.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_12]: You don't even see it like that.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_12]: But that's how it would have happened to split you in half from the app.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_11]: And then circuit the Vikings would have been more creative.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_12]: They wanted to done the bloody.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_12]: You're distracted.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_12]: Well, Vlad the impaler did that.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_12]: He put people on a big fucking spike like a triangular spike and had ropes around their legs pulling them down.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_12]: It is slowly split them in half.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_07]: God damn it.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_07]: I hate it so much because the kids in his twenties and he's tied buck naked upside down.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_07]: It's this fucking old Indian who's just hacks on through and it Kurt Russell's there and he's talking them through and he's just like it'll all be over soon.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm just just just hanging this guy's just screaming violently and I'm like oh my and I'm with my mom and my dad over Christmas.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I just got engaged.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_07]: So it was just like fucking it and then this this scene comes on and I've not been able to shake it since
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_07]: having spacey jacked off that kind of save a private ride and that kind of helped me get over it, you know.
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so yeah, or vice versa rather, but well, he was number one on the call sheet, right?
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_07]: Sure was, dude.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_07]: Sure was.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_07]: Spacey's back.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_07]: You know he's directing right now.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_11]: Did you see his Instagram posts?
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_11]: When he's like, do you fall?
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_11]: When he's like, I'll kill you.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_11]: Like, when he'll give like a merry Christmas, there's a couple of things.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_11]: We're like dry threatens everybody.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_11]: Like, like, and then the guy disappears like the week later.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_11]: So it's like fucking wild day.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, man.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_11]: If you got it, he's got to not work bigger than the abstinent work.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_11]: It's like, oh, yeah.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_11]: There's people willing to disappear if you perform.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's a game off you could just roll around with like seventeen eighteen dudes who were like right on the cusp of eighteen.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you're just like shit.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_07]: What's he doing in that one?
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_07]: What's the creepy look with the book there?
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_07]: Bob?
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_11]: He's in front of a fire place.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, is this it?
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_11]: You got an award.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_05]: No, the Christmas one's older.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_05]: This is like recent.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, I remember the Christmas one.
- 1:07:48[SPEAKER_05]: He's playing the character for house cards.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_07]: This is creepy, though.
- 1:07:52[SPEAKER_12]: That would be a good way to get away with crimes, just do one of your characters and openly threaten everybody.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_11]: It's just like, okay, right?
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_11]: A bookball.
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_11]: I think killer, but if I did, here's how I would have done it, and then it's exactly what happened, right?
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_11]: It's a great book, by the way.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_07]: The very first book deal I did was with the Judith Regan of his Simon and Schuster.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_07]: She did that interview.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_07]: And so I got to go to lunch with her and I go, I mean, I was all in, right?
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_07]: And I was like, tell me everything.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_07]: And she was like, oh, he fucking killed her.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_07]: Like, yeah.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_07]: And she went all in.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_07]: And she's because they filmed that thing for Fox.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_07]: The Fox was one hour special.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_07]: Do you guys remember that?
- 1:08:31[SPEAKER_07]: And then they had to delete it.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_07]: So the night before.
- 1:08:33[SPEAKER_12]: Is that the one where she opens the door and he's got a knife like.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that was behind the scenes, I think, for Axis Hollywood, whenever promoting it, right?
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_07]: And he was trying to joke around, and she was like, no, dude, we can't put any of this in.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_07]: And then they caught it the night before airing, and then they pulled all the books, burned them out of the warehouse, and then a few survived, and so I asked her for a coffee.
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, I know you've got a coffee, and she goes, oh yeah, you want the fucking?
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_07]: I went back to her office and she gave me a copy and I was able to read it.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_07]: I was twenty fourteen or fifteen and reading the book.
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_07]: It's literally him just detailing.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_07]: It's called How I Did It.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and so when I read it.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_06]: If I did it.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_07]: So as you're reading it, you're like you're going through the night and you're like, okay, I mean, you definitely killed these people like what the fuck are we even doing here?
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, but because it was a not guilty verdict, he couldn't go to double jeopardy.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_12]: So yeah, people want people that do crazy shit like that pathologically want credit for what they did.
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_12]: That's why serial kill is always getting.
- 1:09:38[SPEAKER_11]: all of those kinds of folks all on attention.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, speaking of serial killers, comedy has always been dark, the best comedy.
- 1:09:45[SPEAKER_12]: So putting crime into it is one of my favorite genres, like action, or I'm sorry, comedy thrillers with fucked up people is so funny to me.
- 1:09:55[SPEAKER_12]: And that's what this movie is.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely, man.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_09]: It's kind of as dark and twisted, but but people laugh throughout the whole thing.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_09]: It's incredibly funny, man.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_09]: And when I write, I try to do things from a guy's perspective.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_09]: I just write like, I'm that guy and I'm going through this situation.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_09]: So you learn as he learns and you're there with him.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_09]: You feel like you're this guy.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_09]: That's how you're tricked into root for this guy.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_09]: But yeah, man, everything I do is dark human man.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_09]: If I'm riding, if I'm not laughing when I'm riding, like if I laugh, like I know, oh, that's funny to me.
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_09]: I don't give a fuck to me, but it's like, you know what I mean?
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_07]: Do you mind if we play this game?
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's played this game.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_07]: Awesome.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_07]: Awesome.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, pop this up here.
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_07]: This is the movie Kill Me Again that comes out August eighth.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's a gruesome scene here in the hide.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_03]: I can turn that up.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_03]: It is still preliminary, but with a misdemeanor on the loose.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you can sit anywhere.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_10]: Bangler, who comes up with these names?
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_04]: Hi, can I help you?
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_10]: Coffee.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_10]: Just want to have a talk.
- 1:11:00[SPEAKER_11]: I can turn that up.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_04]: Is everything okay?
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_11]: Give me a day shampoo.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_04]: Every night.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_11]: I can turn that up.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_10]: No!
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_10]: I'm caught in like this side.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_10]: I don't look at it.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_10]: It's a record scratch.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_10]: I just keep saying.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_10]: I'm just kidding.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you can grab a seat anymore.
- 1:11:28[SPEAKER_04]: I can turn that up.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_04]: You can just sit anymore.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_04]: Just sit anymore.
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_10]: You put a shark.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_10]: And a tank pull a guppies when things can happen.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_12]: You see my friend?
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_10]: No.
- 1:11:45[SPEAKER_10]: Just going to say hi.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_10]: And to get to know you a little bit.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_10]: Why?
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_10]: I'm going to kill you.
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_10]: Don't shoot foods here.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_10]: In that main there.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_10]: It's hell of a moniker.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_10]: He didn't flash.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_10]: What do you think then?
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_10]: Good?
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_10]: Catchy?
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_10]: What do you think you look like?
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_10]: Well, three more beers.
- 1:12:07[SPEAKER_10]: Keep that cold.
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_10]: I'll be right back.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_10]: I can't keep doing the same thing over and over again.
- 1:12:21[SPEAKER_10]: Why are you here?
- 1:12:23[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, you do.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_05]: I'm God here!
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, dude, that looks fucking dope, man.
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_07]: That diner is very famous.
- 1:12:39[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, how much did you shoot the majority of that in that diner?
- 1:12:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, dude.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_07]: A lot of things.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_07]: Tana movies over the years, man.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_07]: That looks great.
- 1:12:48[SPEAKER_07]: What perfect casting for him?
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_07]: Holy shit.
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_07]: Kind of reminds me of Patrick Bateman and American Psycho.
- 1:12:54[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:56[SPEAKER_07]: That's fucking awesome.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_07]: So you're saying he stayed in character pretty much the whole time?
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_09]: Well, you know, I'm not crazy, but like he definitely had to his or the whole time for sure he had to.
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_09]: And this is, you know, this is an independent film we're doing.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_09]: We're doing it over the fifteen-hour twelve-hour day, nights, night shoots, all nights.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_09]: And so you don't have a life, you're just this for a bit.
- 1:13:16[SPEAKER_09]: The way I spread it out was over almost three weeks.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_09]: So you have, man, like, like, it's just like he's in every fucking scene.
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_09]: And I had to learn how to shoot this because, like, I was telling him, we did, when I first brought this, when I first got the schedule and everything that my AD said, like,
- 1:13:34[SPEAKER_09]: Well, um, here's your schedule.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_09]: I've never seen it done before, but here it is.
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_09]: No solutions.
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_09]: Nothing.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_09]: So I had to figure that whole thing out how to shoot this thing.
- 1:13:41[SPEAKER_09]: So I'm block shooting stuff.
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_09]: I'm shooting, I got lights and everything set up for one direction.
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_09]: I'll shoot like two or three scenes in one direction and turn it around the other.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_09]: So he had to be able to carry it.
- 1:13:50[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 1:13:50[SPEAKER_09]: Now it's this day and where this went now.
- 1:13:52[SPEAKER_09]: It's this day and where this day.
- 1:13:54[SPEAKER_09]: all the dialogue and all everything man like like he really which is next to impossible because if you're gonna do it over and over and over again for different days you've cost you I would imagine he's constantly got to ask you what day is this all my feeling right now that's why that that's what love up in a director man and like I love it working with the actors and like because we're in this together right like like like you said at the beginning like like like this he could fall on his face just
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_09]: based on what I do, how I edit this, how I, how I, how I direct them and all that.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_09]: No, we need to act this way on this, you know.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_09]: So it's just that trust and camaraderie building with that in the language you build.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_09]: like now we're on this now we're doing this and yeah it's great and how long was the shoot it was it was I think twelve nights spread over like like two and a half weeks I started the middle of the week whatever yeah so yeah how was the crew during night shoots I personally love them because I'm a night out when I stay up late as sheets but uh... a lot of the crew gets sleepy loved it when I won't take it was there to the beginning when we're first
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_09]: When we're shooting this, the people were telling me like, dude, your crew is going to revolt.
- 1:15:00[SPEAKER_09]: You can't push them this hard in this that we got to figure something out and all that.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_09]: Like I know these guys, the Maxwell film crew is amazing and you just got to be a leader that I think we're going to be okay and like don't worry about they're trying to get me to do all these different things, shoot during the day for night, a lot of stuff that went into the world.
- 1:15:16[SPEAKER_09]: But no, we did it, man.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_09]: And every day, man, everybody's so chipper and happy.
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_09]: And I know it's not just because, you know, it wears off a little bit.
- 1:15:24[SPEAKER_09]: Keep charting the UFC stars doing the same.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_09]: It wears off after two nights for sure.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_09]: You just got to build that community there.
- 1:15:29[SPEAKER_11]: I think it's more than, because I don't think that that's how they see it.
- 1:15:34[SPEAKER_11]: It's like, we build a lot of goodwill, just being us.
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_11]: And for decades in New Mexico.
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_11]: And I think if it had been another production team, doing it, people show up a different way.
- 1:15:45[SPEAKER_11]: But people are like, I mean, because we really invited people's ideas, people like how to troubleshoot this.
- 1:15:52[SPEAKER_11]: It's clear that we're here together as a team that we're doing this hard thing.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_11]: We'd go out and put out words like, hey, man, to the heads of departments.
- 1:16:00[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, talk to you guys, is everybody okay?
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_11]: What would they think that I did?
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_11]: Everybody's fucking stoked.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_11]: He never heard a complaint.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_11]: Never.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_11]: Like, it was amazing, dude.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_11]: And that's on common.
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_11]: That's not how it is, generally.
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_11]: I heard what you're playing.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_11]: People are making less money.
- 1:16:14[SPEAKER_11]: All that kind of stuff.
- 1:16:15[SPEAKER_11]: And you go individually and talk to these people, like, dude, this is one of the coolest things I've ever done in our life.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_11]: That's what I think, too.
- 1:16:20[SPEAKER_08]: I was like, yeah.
- 1:16:22[SPEAKER_09]: There was a couple of complaints here and there.
- 1:16:24[SPEAKER_09]: I was just here because people were trying to steal me for some guys.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_09]: No, we said the hour and whatever.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_09]: I know, I just go talk to the guy and like everything's just give the guy the attention he deserves, right?
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_09]: And everything's great, you know?
- 1:16:36[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_07]: A lot of it is about the attention of like, hey, I want to be noticed.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_07]: I'm more important.
- 1:16:42[SPEAKER_07]: My department's more important.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_11]: Am I being taken for granted?
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_11]: No, you're all fucking hyper valuable here.
- 1:16:48[SPEAKER_11]: And thank you all so much for that.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_12]: I mean, how hard is it to do that?
- 1:16:51[SPEAKER_12]: That's one of the biggest problems in management, whether when I was in the military or working in the corporate world or working in private security or whatever I was doing.
- 1:16:58[SPEAKER_12]: It's like, everybody, when you get isolated, thinks you're the only one doing the work, and everybody else is fucking around.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_12]: But if you have the boss come by and be like, hey, you're doing good work, good job, but that's really all it takes for them.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_09]: How are you doing, man?
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_09]: Everything okay?
- 1:17:12[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_07]: How's your life?
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_07]: How's your kids?
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_07]: How's everything else?
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_09]: And then take with ring and chase cheese cake every every day of the morning middle of the night.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_09]: I'd bring cheese cake.
- 1:17:20[SPEAKER_11]: Wait, where are you getting cheese cake?
- 1:17:21[SPEAKER_11]: You weren't making it.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_11]: I'll I'll go I'll go to Whole Foods and I just buy my cakes right when I get up in the morning.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_09]: Here's here's where I'll lift every night.
- 1:17:28[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, she's cake time.
- 1:17:29[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, she's cake.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_12]: It's mostly keto bro.
- 1:17:31[SPEAKER_11]: That's right.
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_12]: There's a little bit of sugar and and the cake itself but very little and then there's a little bit in the gram crust and that's a yeah, it's good.
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_12]: So, after this comes out, I know everything about scratch.
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_07]: Do you have your next project line up that you want to write in direct?
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I've got two of them.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_09]: I'm waiting for the release date, but yeah, I got two that I'm pitching right now.
- 1:17:54[SPEAKER_09]: One with up me and the lead and the other one did.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_09]: the MMA base one that I have some really good interest in from good actors and it's more of a taxi driver type script.
- 1:18:04[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's sweet.
- 1:18:05[SPEAKER_09]: Everything I got as dimmer, like I said, I got a Western, I got Neon Wars, kind of my thing.
- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_09]: And this is kind of a noor feel that this movie does has that too for sure, but that's definitely my thing.
- 1:18:15[SPEAKER_07]: That's awesome.
- 1:18:16[SPEAKER_07]: Is that roots of fight, by the way?
- 1:18:18[SPEAKER_07]: The jacket.
- 1:18:20[SPEAKER_07]: It sent me some cool shit, too, and I'm a big fan of that company.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I was telling tape.
- 1:18:24[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love them.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_07]: Would you want to talk to those guys?
- 1:18:26[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not.
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love them.
- 1:18:28[SPEAKER_07]: Would you want to talk to those guys?
- 1:18:29[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not.
- 1:18:29[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love them.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_09]: Would you want to talk to those guys?
- 1:18:32[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love them.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_11]: Would you want to talk to those guys?
- 1:18:35[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love them.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_09]: Would you want to talk to those guys?
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_11]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love them.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_09]: Would you want to talk to those guys?
- 1:18:40[SPEAKER_12]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love them.
- 1:18:41[SPEAKER_07]: Would you want to talk to those guys?
- 1:18:42[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love them.
- 1:18:44[SPEAKER_07]: Would you want to talk to those guys?
- 1:18:45[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not a sponsor or anything, but I love
- 1:18:47[SPEAKER_09]: Are they really at affliction?
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_09]: My mean tap-out shirt was the last shirt mask I've ever done and we're doing it.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_09]: We're having a fun thing looking things up on eBay and stuff.
- 1:19:00[SPEAKER_09]: I saw that going for three hundred forty bucks.
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_09]: I got the fuck up.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_09]: I got like a hundred of these in my attic.
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_12]: If you're out there, if you're out there, if you're out there, if you're out there, if you're out there, if you're a UFC fighter or a Navy seal from the early two thousand, you're probably rich and you don't know it yet.
- 1:19:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's the song they shit on eBay.
- 1:19:16[SPEAKER_07]: I thought Chris Angel bought all of the afflicted teachers.
- 1:19:20[SPEAKER_11]: I didn't think it was any of the only the mediums in the black mess.
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_09]: The black mascara and the schmedium shows.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_09]: Back in the day walking around if you see somewhere in a fliction shirt like, oh, you know that guy knows who you are.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_07]: I know what I'm getting into here.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:19:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:19:38[SPEAKER_07]: That's hilarious.
- 1:19:38[SPEAKER_07]: So obviously, I can't let you guys leave without getting UFC picks this weekend.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_07]: Now, Delco, I'm going to put you on the spot here because you went perfect.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_07]: Was it last weekend of the weekend before that you were perfect?
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_07]: And I got to get your picks as well.
- 1:19:53[SPEAKER_07]: The audience was asking mybookie.com is asking from a coach drinking bros doubles that first deposit all the way up to a thousand dollars.
- 1:20:00[SPEAKER_07]: Delco, I will start with you.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_07]: Who do you got on your card?
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I've gotten DMed by like a million listeners.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_07]: So please tell me.
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think the home come in.
- 1:20:10[SPEAKER_01]: All the, uh, yeah, poya, all the New Orleans vibes, all the voodoo.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I don't think it means anything.
- 1:20:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think Max finally gets over the hurdle, and he beats Dustin.
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_01]: Whoa, really.
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think, I think Max is going to win.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be a fucking war.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_12]: I'm just going to be one of the best fights.
- 1:20:26[SPEAKER_12]: That'll be an into all the fame fight right there.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_07]: Last week, that's a dangerous fight.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_07]: There a clue.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_07]: This was a blast last week.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_12]: Like I watched that.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_07]: That was a fun.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_12]: There is a clue.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_12]: This is always fun to watch fight.
- 1:20:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but it was, whenever it's free, you're like, yeah.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_07]: I'm really going to see something cool and then sure enough there was a dope car glass.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's a fight whether it's in the parking lot or whether it's on TV, whether it's free.
- 1:20:46[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's going to be exciting.
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_09]: You know, you, you always always like that too.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_09]: It's whatever the main event, like whenever the, the, the, the paper view that really push like this is the fight of the year, whatever they're just, they're not.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_09]: But then some car, like, whatever, like those are the cars that the kill man.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_07]: uh... all right so who else is on this uh... politics on it uh... who do you got that delco who uh... he's not on this no no no no i'm forget me i'm looking here to the future uh... this uh... palo costa versus uh... he's been on the bit of a skid yeah all see he's still got some wins but yeah he's
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_01]: and then Kevin Holland's probably gonna beat the fuck at a Daniel Rodriguez.
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_07]: I like watching Kevin Holland.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_11]: I like Daniel a lot, but yeah, I think that that's right.
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 1:21:37[SPEAKER_07]: What are the odds in that poor Eifflet?
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's shit.
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_07]: So Max Holloway is minus one forty one.
- 1:21:42[SPEAKER_07]: So they're expecting Max to win, which is a shock to me.
- 1:21:46[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I would have said Dustin just because he's retiring after this.
- 1:21:50[SPEAKER_07]: Last fight, hometown, it's in New Orleans, you know, Theo Vaughan and his buddies are going.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_09]: There's a thing, people don't, I don't know, he announces retirement, but guys don't do well when they announce a retirement fight.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_09]: No shit.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_09]: Maybe that's what they have to do.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_11]: You already got a foot out the door.
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_11]: If that's why you see guys start doing movies too soon.
- 1:22:09[SPEAKER_07]: Connor something else.
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_11]: That's for real.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_11]: As soon as you start to take it go, oh, that's not where I'm going to put my foot on the gas.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_11]: I go with you.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, that seems like a bad idea to go into the ring with another killer.
- 1:22:22[SPEAKER_11]: It's tough.
- 1:22:22[SPEAKER_11]: Man, you're such a mental game just to walk in through the door in the first place.
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_11]: Like if you're somewhere else a little bit or if you think you're not, you got to know who you are in a real way.
- 1:22:31[SPEAKER_09]: That's what I love about fighting and what we learned with John Jones right away and some other people like
- 1:22:36[SPEAKER_09]: Well, if we don't have John Jones, when he came in like YouTube videos, he's smashing Hall of Famers.
- 1:22:41[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_09]: Like skill wise, like like whatever, like like he's barely knows the Jitsu, he knows wrestling, junior college level and all that smashing fools.
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_09]: Because MMA's that weird thing, like where the cliche is true, like in a lot of sports, like boxing, you can say that this guy's gonna win ninety nine times out of hundred just because he's
- 1:22:59[SPEAKER_09]: That that much more skill and it may not like that man like the guy that believes in himself has that hunger that has that dog in him that I'm I'm rising up in the ranks.
- 1:23:07[SPEAKER_09]: I'm going to just whatever has that it man like those guys win man and the guys are holding on whatever like I got I got this movie coming off whatever like yeah kind of a Gregor's just good as he ever was
- 1:23:19[SPEAKER_09]: But he's just gonna have that dog anymore, you know.
- 1:23:20[SPEAKER_09]: You see that dick here today?
- 1:23:22[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, see the dick.
- 1:23:23[SPEAKER_11]: I just don't learn about it.
- 1:23:24[SPEAKER_11]: I didn't see it though.
- 1:23:25[SPEAKER_07]: Bob, are you showing him the dick?
- 1:23:26[SPEAKER_07]: We're not gonna see where in YouTube right now.
- 1:23:27[SPEAKER_07]: But show me what we can't do.
- 1:23:28[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we show McGregor's dick to him.
- 1:23:30[SPEAKER_07]: Give me the text to see it.
- 1:23:30[SPEAKER_07]: Alright, I've been blinded on this out all day.
- 1:23:33[SPEAKER_07]: Bob's got it on his fucking, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_09]: I've only seen the texture.
- 1:23:49[SPEAKER_09]: Go ahead.
- 1:23:50[SPEAKER_09]: Don't peek.
- 1:23:51[SPEAKER_09]: I've looked everywhere for Pete.
- 1:23:53[SPEAKER_09]: I've looked everywhere for it.
- 1:23:54[SPEAKER_09]: I can only see the sensor when I've tried.
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_09]: You came to the right place.
- 1:23:57[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_11]: I heard of the weightlifting tutorial.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_11]: So I have to go and get some games.
- 1:24:02[SPEAKER_11]: You know?
- 1:24:03[SPEAKER_07]: You're going to get some games out of that.
- 1:24:05[SPEAKER_07]: So Bob, I'm going to text this to you and then obviously don't put this up on screen.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_12]: He was telling the story about watching a Grover in the theater and being the only one laughing.
- 1:24:13[SPEAKER_12]: I promise you this is true.
- 1:24:14[SPEAKER_12]: He also did it for broke back mountains.
- 1:24:16[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:24:16[SPEAKER_07]: I'm opening night.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_12]: He has shed on opening night into which the hitters at Nellie.
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_07]: The cinnamon ramma.
- 1:24:22[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, so hey guys.
- 1:24:24[SPEAKER_09]: I saw holesman last night.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_09]: I laughed so hard.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_09]: I've ever laughed.
- 1:24:31[SPEAKER_09]: Do you know this hole's my guy?
- 1:24:33[SPEAKER_09]: The walkout guy, right?
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_09]: Oh my god.
- 1:24:36[SPEAKER_09]: I've seen him on Instagram, whatever, but I know this was real man.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_09]: This is fun.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_09]: This is genius man.
- 1:24:41[SPEAKER_07]: There we go.
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_07]: So pop that up here.
- 1:24:44[SPEAKER_07]: As you'll notice, he's he's not certain.
- 1:24:48[SPEAKER_07]: And I made this joke through the day, but it still holds true.
- 1:24:50[SPEAKER_07]: There's a reason why he had trouble cutting weight.
- 1:24:53[SPEAKER_07]: If he just cut that surf off dude, he could lose three pounds.
- 1:24:57[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, fucking thing dude.
- 1:24:58[SPEAKER_07]: We're the wait.
- 1:24:59[SPEAKER_07]: We're the wait.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so they're off right off camera.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_07]: Right off camera.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, so there was another hang in his wait office where she was.
- 1:25:08[SPEAKER_07]: So there was another photo of that as well.
- 1:25:09[SPEAKER_07]: And then there was this one and you know
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_11]: God bless.
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, even Dana White said I was because he he talked about it the other day and it goes man.
- 1:25:18[SPEAKER_07]: I was shocked to see it he goes.
- 1:25:20[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't think he had it in him.
- 1:25:21[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but yeah, that's just for a leprechaun, but the un exactly but the unsearched part is not that tall though.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_11]: You don't like it.
- 1:25:28[SPEAKER_11]: You prefer him circumcised.
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I'm that's what I do like that's so we all have hobbies right.
- 1:25:33[SPEAKER_07]: I'm an amateur circumcision artist and you're not gonna pull the skin back to expose you want it not at all.
- 1:25:39[SPEAKER_07]: I do a snows cut.
- 1:25:40[SPEAKER_07]: I keep your brochure.
- 1:25:40[SPEAKER_07]: I do a snows cut.
- 1:25:41[SPEAKER_07]: I do a princess cut and it's what it is is it's two rocks very similar to these
- 1:25:47[SPEAKER_07]: Dringabro's coasters here's got sharp edges.
- 1:25:49[SPEAKER_07]: I dip them in I hold them in snow for a long time, okay?
- 1:25:52[SPEAKER_07]: Because you want that, you know, cold on that skin there.
- 1:25:55[SPEAKER_07]: It pulls the skin taught, obviously.
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, yes.
- 1:25:58[SPEAKER_07]: And then I bang them shits together and then I get that skin that I need.
- 1:26:02[SPEAKER_07]: And then I resound for wallets.
- 1:26:04[SPEAKER_11]: When you shake the skin, so you're you're like harvesting.
- 1:26:07[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, because obviously I'm reusing it for the pre-purposing.
- 1:26:11[SPEAKER_07]: Correct, right.
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_07]: So you're going to see a nice ring.
- 1:26:14[SPEAKER_12]: You saw that teddy bear and L.A.
- 1:26:16[SPEAKER_12]: the other day.
- 1:26:16[SPEAKER_12]: It was mostly forced.
- 1:26:19[SPEAKER_11]: Mostly forced.
- 1:26:20[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, if you lick it, does it become a grizzly?
- 1:26:23[SPEAKER_07]: It sure does because it grows and it expands obviously.
- 1:26:25[SPEAKER_07]: Sure does.
- 1:26:26[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:26:26[SPEAKER_07]: If it's a wall, it turns into a briefcase.
- 1:26:28[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 1:26:28[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
- 1:26:29[SPEAKER_07]: Um, and we'll feed it after midnight by the way.
- 1:26:31[SPEAKER_07]: Look at how comfortable he is right now.
- 1:26:33[SPEAKER_07]: Keith, I give a lot of those those four skins and needy kids in China.
- 1:26:38[SPEAKER_07]: Oh yeah.
- 1:26:39[SPEAKER_07]: Well, they've got to have a bigger dick.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_07]: So it's like, dude, you can attach this.
- 1:26:43[SPEAKER_07]: and gain at least an inch and a half over there.
- 1:26:45[SPEAKER_07]: And the colors, you know, you're going from white to yellow, because sometimes, you know, black to yellow, whatever it is.
- 1:26:50[SPEAKER_12]: Makes it harder to get into Harvard.
- 1:26:53[SPEAKER_12]: It sure does.
- 1:26:54[SPEAKER_12]: It could go yellow by the way.
- 1:26:55[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 1:26:55[SPEAKER_07]: And because the racist shit.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:26:58[SPEAKER_07]: They hate them.
- 1:26:58[SPEAKER_09]: They kind of like how do you care for cancer people of that kind of?
- 1:27:01[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:27:01[SPEAKER_07]: It's very, very similar.
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_07]: And thank you for recognizing.
- 1:27:04[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:27:04[SPEAKER_07]: You know, that's my way of giving back.
- 1:27:06[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_07]: But again, we all have our hobbies.
- 1:27:09[SPEAKER_07]: This is my profession.
- 1:27:10[SPEAKER_07]: My hobby is that.
- 1:27:11[SPEAKER_07]: Now would I like to turn that into my full-time job someday?
- 1:27:14[SPEAKER_07]: Sure.
- 1:27:15[SPEAKER_07]: We'll see.
- 1:27:15[SPEAKER_07]: Tough amount of time.
- 1:27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Really hard to monetize.
- 1:27:19[SPEAKER_07]: I can't just pop up on Craigslist over and over and over again and say, do you need this done?
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_12]: I think you should set up a stand like all the Mohicans with the peaches on the side of the road.
- 1:27:30[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, when the the Longhorn steers.
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, so next to like you can make a new like at an and a dream chrome drink.
- 1:27:36[SPEAKER_11]: You can sell it alongside and then make wallets.
- 1:27:40[SPEAKER_12]: There's a dude on the corner of eight or nine sixty seven and whatever the fuck eighteen twenty six up there that sells knives and wallets and shit and those long the steers park right next to him.
- 1:27:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:27:49[SPEAKER_12]: Right next time I'm like, hey, hey, I can get you the leather right now, dude.
- 1:27:53[SPEAKER_07]: I can come out right now and we could really boost some business here, but I'm gonna need to see that hog first brother.
- 1:27:58[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you know what you want to make sure he's cut.
- 1:28:01[SPEAKER_07]: Whoa, I know I saw the harvest him too.
- 1:28:03[SPEAKER_07]: You can't just trust somebody's portfolio.
- 1:28:05[SPEAKER_07]: Eventually you're gonna have to audition you guys know that.
- 1:28:07[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
- 1:28:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's what I do.
- 1:28:09[SPEAKER_11]: I wonder how many guys right now in the world have Conner's dick in their phone, which is a lot.
- 1:28:17[SPEAKER_12]: There's a lot of dude group chats out there with Conner's dick phone.
- 1:28:20[SPEAKER_07]: Bob, can you pull up a child's sonan's remarks on it?
- 1:28:24[SPEAKER_07]: I've heard of this.
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_07]: It's the best dude.
- 1:28:26[SPEAKER_06]: He's a real action as I did.
- 1:28:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:28:28[SPEAKER_07]: Where he goes, man.
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, if Bob can find it, it's great.
- 1:28:32[SPEAKER_07]: He always got the best of the time.
- 1:28:34[SPEAKER_07]: He really does.
- 1:28:37[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, you want to tell me how to spell it, Delco, it's CH-A-G-L.
- 1:28:41[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, son and his S-O-N-N-E-N.
- 1:28:46[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, but his remarks on it were the same that I had and I was like, oh my god, we would probably be best friends in real life because I've shown everybody that dick pick, you know, everyone.
- 1:28:54[SPEAKER_07]: Even on wife, I was like, you got to see this.
- 1:28:56[SPEAKER_07]: All right, so I'm playing this.
- 1:28:58[SPEAKER_07]: Just looking at all the audience, yeah.
- 1:29:01[SPEAKER_03]: I can't quit staring at Connor's dick.
- 1:29:04[SPEAKER_03]: I can't stop!
- 1:29:06[SPEAKER_03]: I sent Connor's dick to my partner Ryan who opened it on his computer.
- 1:29:13[SPEAKER_03]: Ryan is his wife was coming to the background and then we have to explain what's happening here.
- 1:29:19[SPEAKER_03]: But I can't stop looking.
- 1:29:21[SPEAKER_03]: I've stared at this dick for the last two hours.
- 1:29:24[SPEAKER_03]: He attached a weight to as many me.
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_02]: And you got you got a crooked penal function with a makeshift weight on it.
- 1:29:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lot for me to accept.
- 1:29:41[SPEAKER_03]: I can't quit staring at Carter's.
- 1:29:43[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, that's amazing.
- 1:29:44[SPEAKER_07]: So the one with the weight on it got deleted really quick.
- 1:29:48[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm, we got hit up a zalias.
- 1:29:51[SPEAKER_06]: Let's get into zalibanks.
- 1:29:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:29:53[SPEAKER_07]: This will tell you how sick that I am because you're talking about the broke back thing.
- 1:29:56[SPEAKER_07]: Nothing makes me laugh harder than male penises, right?
- 1:29:59[SPEAKER_07]: And so I'm trying to screenshot this dick.
- 1:30:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:30:03[SPEAKER_07]: Well, transmit no.
- 1:30:04[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to.
- 1:30:05[SPEAKER_07]: Dan.
- 1:30:07[SPEAKER_07]: They're out there.
- 1:30:08[SPEAKER_12]: No, there are three genders.
- 1:30:09[SPEAKER_12]: Right.
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_12]: What's the third?
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_12]: Male, female, and retard.
- 1:30:13[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, there you go.
- 1:30:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:30:15[SPEAKER_07]: And that's it.
- 1:30:15[SPEAKER_07]: That's it.
- 1:30:16[SPEAKER_07]: Um, but I was, I do, I finally found the pick before it was taken down and I just screenshot it that one.
- 1:30:21[SPEAKER_07]: As soon as I went to screenshot the one with a weight on his dick.
- 1:30:24[SPEAKER_07]: Going and I was like mother fucker.
- 1:30:26[SPEAKER_12]: I bet he has a sponsorship with a separate dickweight company hilarious.
- 1:30:30[SPEAKER_07]: That's what I have.
- 1:30:32[SPEAKER_12]: It's like hey, what are they called and look what the fuck on our spit.
- 1:30:35[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah
- 1:30:39[SPEAKER_08]: I've got a fucking product for you.
- 1:30:42[SPEAKER_08]: You gotta have it dude.
- 1:30:43[SPEAKER_08]: If you thought you were supposed to sell this place, yeah.
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, hi Rocks.
- 1:30:47[SPEAKER_09]: Got caster on the phone.
- 1:30:48[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, my God.
- 1:30:50[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, hundred is less than this time you do a dick pick.
- 1:30:51[SPEAKER_09]: Make sure you have the proper twelve next to it.
- 1:30:54[SPEAKER_07]: You always got to be promote.
- 1:30:56[SPEAKER_07]: You got to be promote.
- 1:30:57[SPEAKER_07]: That would have been really funny.
- 1:30:59[SPEAKER_07]: They got them Logan Paul because he puts lunchlies and prime and the when his baby was getting boy.
- 1:31:05[SPEAKER_07]: and he was like, well, you think I'm not going to promote?
- 1:31:07[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, what's the point of even having a baby for now?
- 1:31:09[SPEAKER_07]: What do you think I'm working this hard force for my goddamn kid?
- 1:31:12[SPEAKER_07]: And just to be coming out of that vagina?
- 1:31:14[SPEAKER_12]: Just to be clear, my dad monetized me too by making me work for free and his fucking Autobotty shot my entire childhood.
- 1:31:20[SPEAKER_12]: So shoot that.
- 1:31:21[SPEAKER_11]: You mean he gave you an educated slave labor?
- 1:31:23[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:31:24[SPEAKER_12]: But slavery is good, it's right here.
- 1:31:26[SPEAKER_12]: White people ended slavery over.
- 1:31:27[SPEAKER_12]: He was mistaken.
- 1:31:28[SPEAKER_12]: I put my name on it.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_12]: Yep.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_12]: See that.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_12]: Sure.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_07]: We just saved a lot of people.
- 1:31:31[SPEAKER_12]: That's all.
- 1:31:32[SPEAKER_07]: That's all we did.
- 1:31:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:31:33[SPEAKER_12]: Anybody that has blue hair.
- 1:31:34[SPEAKER_12]: Slave.
- 1:31:35[SPEAKER_12]: Slave.
- 1:31:36[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody antifa wise slave.
- 1:31:38[SPEAKER_12]: We'll fix it real quick.
- 1:31:40[SPEAKER_12]: Yep.
- 1:31:40[SPEAKER_12]: Right.
- 1:31:40[SPEAKER_12]: We can end slavery the right way.
- 1:31:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, not with laws and the white way because most of those guys are white and it's they're taking up causes they shouldn't why you at a BLM right now you're white You got nothing to do with this, okay?
- 1:31:52[SPEAKER_07]: You're hijacking a movement now you get to be someone's slave.

- 1:32:11[SPEAKER_07]: I say it filthy.
- 1:32:15[SPEAKER_07]: Now's the boy in the show.
- 1:32:16[SPEAKER_07]: He gives the drinking bro the week, which is someone who has inspired you or helps you the person you have become today.
- 1:32:22[SPEAKER_07]: We'll start with you Keith, who'd you like to give the drinking bro the week, too?
- 1:32:25[SPEAKER_07]: You cannot say Connor McGregor or his thought.
- 1:32:27[SPEAKER_09]: I just was.
- 1:32:28[SPEAKER_09]: I knew you were.
- 1:32:30[SPEAKER_09]: God damn it.
- 1:32:31[SPEAKER_09]: You know what?

- 1:32:57[SPEAKER_09]: That's the one that I'm doing the other day.
- 1:32:58[SPEAKER_09]: It's one of the best goddamn scripts I've ever read.
- 1:33:02[SPEAKER_09]: You know what me man?
- 1:33:02[SPEAKER_09]: I wouldn't even tell you otherwise because he wouldn't.
- 1:33:04[SPEAKER_09]: He'd tell me it sucked if you thought it sucked.
- 1:33:06[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:33:06[SPEAKER_09]: And like, how are you told you in the past that it sucks?
- 1:33:08[SPEAKER_09]: No.
- 1:33:10[SPEAKER_09]: I've been on set with him when he told the actors they sucked.
- 1:33:12[SPEAKER_07]: He's the ruthless one of the fucker.
- 1:33:14[SPEAKER_09]: Fuck yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:33:16[SPEAKER_09]: Anyway, so I'll give that to him and like he's been behind me for all this man and help me get through a lot of spots on this.
- 1:33:24[SPEAKER_09]: That's awesome.
- 1:33:25[SPEAKER_09]: That's awesome.
- 1:33:26[SPEAKER_07]: What about you?
- 1:33:27[SPEAKER_11]: living or dead anybody boy guy pop right in my mind is like Louis the more think about a guy that wrote all those books like that but like what he did was he lived life of it as an adventure like went sailed and got knife fights and it was a brawler and then followed the circus around for it like it was like the Teddy Roosevelt of Hollywood based but then really what at the end right right
- 1:33:48[SPEAKER_11]: But I think about guys I think about like we mentioned earlier like Jared Shaw like diligence and nose down and work hard and have a goal and go towards it.
- 1:33:58[SPEAKER_11]: It's like there's examples all over that man.
- 1:34:00[SPEAKER_11]: I feel like I'm rich in my life with the examples of people that stand up straight and you go through say and say what they do.
- 1:34:06[SPEAKER_09]: That's where you say you go through helping your life.
- 1:34:08[SPEAKER_09]: We have so many iterations of our life, you know, like there's Greg Jackson, the focus of the... Greg is an amazing human being.
- 1:34:14[SPEAKER_11]: I'd be remiss to not say a hundred people right now.
- 1:34:17[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:34:18[SPEAKER_12]: I think we have people at work hard to have a tendency to find each other.
- 1:34:22[SPEAKER_12]: It's not the most common thing these days.
- 1:34:24[SPEAKER_11]: People are like, what's, hey, what, what got you into this?
- 1:34:27[SPEAKER_11]: And all my answers, all just like, I was just real fortunate in the people that I ran into.
- 1:34:32[SPEAKER_11]: You know what I mean?
- 1:34:32[SPEAKER_11]: And that's really what it's been.
- 1:34:33[SPEAKER_11]: And then being awake enough, I guess, to be aware of what the gift is that's standing in front of you.
- 1:34:38[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, Keith is like that for me.
- 1:34:40[SPEAKER_11]: You know, like he was a leader at the gym back in the day, and it's like you just watch how people move.
- 1:34:45[SPEAKER_11]: John Dodson is one of those guys for me.
- 1:34:46[SPEAKER_11]: You'd be at the end of a two hour wrestling, and it was awful.
- 1:34:49[SPEAKER_11]: And everybody's like, oh, and guys that are there that are pussies are those guys that are like looking to wait, it's coach looking at me.
- 1:34:55[SPEAKER_11]: No, I'll work hard again.
- 1:34:56[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 1:34:56[SPEAKER_11]: It's that.
- 1:34:57[SPEAKER_11]: But John Dodson, you look at no matter what you look at him, he's got a smile on his face.
- 1:35:00[SPEAKER_11]: He's just smiling, right?
- 1:35:01[SPEAKER_11]: And I go no matter what your struggle, no matter what you bear smile, man.
- 1:35:05[SPEAKER_11]: Enjoy to be here.
- 1:35:06[SPEAKER_11]: Thank God, you can struggle like that.
- 1:35:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I remember when Casey Anthony said that too, and it was pretty inspiring.
- 1:35:12[SPEAKER_07]: Um, but yeah.
- 1:35:14[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks for tuning in guys.
- 1:35:15[SPEAKER_07]: Go to iTunes.
- 1:35:15[SPEAKER_07]: We're gonna get it.

- 1:35:18[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if you can see it.
- 1:35:19[SPEAKER_07]: Give me a kiss.
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_12]: She's a woman that put her kid in the trunk of her car.
- 1:35:22[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 1:35:23[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:35:24[SPEAKER_12]: That doesn't sound hard to do.
- 1:35:25[SPEAKER_12]: That's funny.
- 1:35:26[SPEAKER_12]: Like that baby.
- 1:35:27[SPEAKER_11]: She's a little higher, bro.
- 1:35:32[SPEAKER_12]: That baby is what couldn't do that.
- 1:35:33[SPEAKER_12]: That baby's record was O and I. Life's home.
- 1:35:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I told him you could say whatever you wanted to.
- 1:35:44[SPEAKER_07]: I said, I can seriously, you're on now.
- 1:35:46[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, you're on now.
- 1:35:48[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you, Andy for Stella.
- 1:35:49[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I got him to listen to everybody and like, now they're coming around the net, they're around the nation and audience members are like, fuck me, you weren't wine.
- 1:35:57[SPEAKER_07]: They're so good.
- 1:35:58[SPEAKER_11]: I wouldn't, are there Fartson here?
- 1:36:00[SPEAKER_07]: Tell you.
- 1:36:01[SPEAKER_07]: They might be a question.
- 1:36:01[SPEAKER_12]: You don't know.
- 1:36:04[SPEAKER_11]: You into it.
- 1:36:04[SPEAKER_11]: Well, you know a lot of the protein powders you get are like this is a box of farts, right?
- 1:36:07[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

- 1:36:40[SPEAKER_11]: Yes.

- 1:36:42[SPEAKER_12]: Dark Wolf starts in August.
- 1:36:44[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.

- 1:36:46[SPEAKER_12]: I think.
- 1:36:47[SPEAKER_12]: Yes.

- 1:36:50[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 1:36:50[SPEAKER_12]: I think it would be pretty good.
- 1:36:51[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 1:36:51[SPEAKER_12]: That's going to be fucking great.
- 1:36:52[SPEAKER_12]: I know they shot a lot of the stuff simultaneously.
- 1:36:54[SPEAKER_07]: That's going to be dope.
- 1:36:55[SPEAKER_07]: And by the way, you know the ratings on that, right?
- 1:36:57[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's Amazon's biggest show of all time.
- 1:37:00[SPEAKER_07]: So like that's that could be a massive boost.
- 1:37:02[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I'm about to head to Morocco to finish it up.
- 1:37:05[SPEAKER_09]: Are you really?
- 1:37:06[SPEAKER_12]: Jack's been over like I've he's supposed to have done my show and I was supposed to go on his and we've been fucking Chris Cross and for months now because he's back and forth with all this bullshit, but I'm I love those shows.
- 1:37:16[SPEAKER_12]: I've watched terminalist start to finish probably five times.
- 1:37:20[SPEAKER_12]: It's so fun.
- 1:37:20[SPEAKER_07]: It's so good.
- 1:37:21[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's so good.
- 1:37:22[SPEAKER_12]: And the tension to detail first takes it real serious yeah Chris great which is awesome because dude if he didn't it would fuck up the whole series and it's I mean he wants to look right he pays a service yeah, I mean he grew up on turn yeah, he's a big guy too.
- 1:37:40[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, everybody like his history he got famous is like kind of a dumpy idiot on parks and rock, but he's a fucking dude.
- 1:37:47[SPEAKER_12]: He got that he got to be cocktail down hmm
- 1:37:49[SPEAKER_11]: He was waiting tables in Maui or something like that, and living in his car.
- 1:37:54[SPEAKER_11]: And some producer from LA says, anyway, it's a whole lot of story.
- 1:37:56[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, he was on a teen show in CW.
- 1:38:00[SPEAKER_07]: It was a Gilmore Girls Bob.
- 1:38:01[SPEAKER_07]: What was the first one?
- 1:38:02[SPEAKER_07]: Oh my God.
- 1:38:03[SPEAKER_07]: For Chris Pratz.
- 1:38:05[SPEAKER_05]: Chris Pratt was, uh, one tree hill.
- 1:38:08[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, one tree hill first.
- 1:38:10[SPEAKER_07]: I think before Gilmore girls.
- 1:38:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

- 1:38:37[SPEAKER_12]: No, it's not.
- 1:38:37[SPEAKER_12]: Everwood, he was on eighty-nine episodes.
- 1:38:39[SPEAKER_11]: You'll always have a home in one tree.
- 1:38:41[SPEAKER_11]: Bigger the practice that that's putting in repetitions like that on the ninety episodes.
- 1:38:45[SPEAKER_12]: Fuckin' Bory on us.
- 1:38:46[SPEAKER_12]: Bory on us has like five hundred fifty episodes of television.
