A beloved husband, father, and coach, Donnie Wayne Long passed away at 79 after a short illness, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and community. Married to Janet for 49 years, he was proud dad to Heather and Courtney, adored grandpa to five boys, and cherished by his sister Sue and extended family. A GE veteran for 38 years, he poured his heart into coaching softball and cheering on NASCAR and baseball. Predeceased by several close family members, he’s survived by his loyal dog Smokey — and the countless lives he touched with his humor and kindness. Services are pending. Listen in…
