- 0:07Speaker 1: Oh, these are so good.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I'm glad you picked it up.
- 0:10Speaker 3: I'm so happy that you're thrilled about this episode of
- 0:14Speaker 3: the Bonus podcast Get Them La Lac Today. I want
- 0:19Speaker 3: to know what all of you guys currently do for
- 0:22Speaker 3: a job. And by the way, it doesn't need to
- 0:24Speaker 3: like earn you money, right if you're like you know what?
- 0:28Speaker 3: Right now, I'm just kind of like a stay at
- 0:30Speaker 3: home mom.
- 0:32Speaker 1: But if I could do anything, not saying you don't
- 0:34Speaker 1: love be a stay at home mom, but just like,
- 0:36Speaker 1: let's venture into an alternate universe. If you could be anything,
- 0:40Speaker 1: what would you be? So right now, I'm in entertainment.
- 0:46Speaker 4: I've always wanted to be an entertainment from the time
- 0:48Speaker 4: I was a tiny, tiny little tot.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I do reality TV, I do this podcast. Whatever.
- 0:55Speaker 4: If I could pick any other job besides what I'm
- 1:00Speaker 4: doing now, I would want to be a homicide investigator. Oh,
- 1:09Speaker 4: I'd want to be the person they call when the
- 1:12Speaker 4: police arrive and they're like, better call law and then
- 1:17Speaker 4: I'd arrive. I'd say, what do we have, Johnny, He'd
- 1:21Speaker 4: say thirty one year old female throat slashed and then I'd.
- 1:26Speaker 5: Figure out who did it and come up just like that.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Wait, let's get real.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Would you care? Like you walk in and there's blood.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Everywhere, I'm throwing up?
- 1:37Speaker 2: Are you immediately passing out? Lalla?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Actually? Can I tell you? I have a fear of blood?
- 1:44Speaker 4: But I think, oh, now you've taken me back to
- 1:49Speaker 4: the phobia episode and I'm like, oh.
- 1:52Speaker 2: No, and if you haven't heard it yet, it's coming up.
- 1:54Speaker 1: No, I think I would be let's just say, in
- 1:58Speaker 1: this universe, i'd be a gone Okay.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I think I could roll in there and look and
- 2:05Speaker 4: be more scientific brain rather than because that's what it is.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's a mental thing for me.
- 2:10Speaker 4: And when I talk to people about like my birthing experience, right,
- 2:14Speaker 4: and I'm like, I passed out with the initial needle
- 2:17Speaker 4: in the arm, and they're like, well, how did you
- 2:19Speaker 4: get the epidural because that needles like this big.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And I'm like, no, no, no, you're giving me a visual. Yah,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you're giving me a visual.
- 2:26Speaker 4: If I can mentally check out, which I can because
- 2:29Speaker 4: I've done it before, then we're fine.
- 2:32Speaker 1: It's when I.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Start talking myself like, Okay, a needle is in your
- 2:36Speaker 4: arm and now blood is being extracted and going I'm
- 2:41Speaker 4: going down and she's out. But if I could just
- 2:44Speaker 4: walk into a crime scene and be very like matter
- 2:48Speaker 4: of fact about we're trying to understand what happened. This
- 2:52Speaker 4: is not about the wound or the blood. This is
- 2:54Speaker 4: about what happened prior to make this happen.
- 2:59Speaker 5: I have to say Dexter, when we were.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Talking about spatter analysis, he's.
- 3:02Speaker 6: The blood spat like dude who does all the blood
- 3:05Speaker 6: spatter and then splatter, and so he takes pictures and
- 3:08Speaker 6: that would help you of the knife went this way
- 3:12Speaker 6: or the bullet came from this angle, which now can
- 3:14Speaker 6: place who you're looking for it right certain spot.
- 3:17Speaker 4: But that's a scientific mindset, right. I'm not sitting here being.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Like, oh he took the knife and gently glided.
- 3:25Speaker 5: In the He just tells you where it was true, you.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Know, I'm thinking like, okay, he came in, he went
- 3:32Speaker 4: this way, because that's why this blood is on this wall.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Then he went this way. That's why she's cut from
- 3:37Speaker 1: here to hear.
- 3:38Speaker 2: You know, and your more motive focused. I think you
- 3:41Speaker 2: want to know why they did it, who did it? Right,
- 3:44Speaker 2: You're like more motive versus like the blood. You have
- 3:48Speaker 2: a Dexter for.
- 3:49Speaker 4: That and the best part about it is once you
- 3:52Speaker 4: find like, who your suspects.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Are, you kill him yourself, no, dexter it.
- 3:58Speaker 4: My most favorite part is bringing them in and I
- 4:03Speaker 4: get to sit down with them and be like, hey, Jonathan,
- 4:06Speaker 4: how you doing today? So as you know, and then
- 4:10Speaker 4: I get to interrogate and read them like a book,
- 4:13Speaker 4: yeah and.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Go, you know what, I don't think that's how it
- 4:15Speaker 1: happened at all. Oh my god, I want to be
- 4:18Speaker 1: a murder investigator.
- 4:20Speaker 2: So bad and so well at that we should know.
- 4:24Speaker 2: We should play that one time and I can be
- 4:26Speaker 2: the murderer. And you see if you crack me because
- 4:28Speaker 2: I'm going to ask for my lawyer, I'm gonna say.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I'm not saying another thing.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Well, everyone knows that if I read you your Miranda
- 4:34Speaker 4: rights and you are indeed arrested for the murder of
- 4:39Speaker 4: so and so, then you better keep your fucking mouth shut.
- 4:43Speaker 4: When I watch the first forty eight, let me tell
- 4:45Speaker 4: you something, and they pull people in and they're not
- 4:48Speaker 4: a suspect yet, they're just pulled in for questioning even
- 4:52Speaker 4: if they didn't do it. Why are you talking to
- 4:55Speaker 4: these people?
- 4:56Speaker 1: You want to know? What else? Though? If I ever
- 4:58Speaker 1: got called in because there was like a murder investigation.
- 5:01Speaker 1: They called me in.
- 5:02Speaker 4: I'd say, I'm I'll say one thing to you guys, okay,
- 5:08Speaker 4: and then they'd be like, we're going to get her, and
- 5:10Speaker 4: I'd say, I'm going to need uh my lawyer.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Robert Shapiro.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Got him, I.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Don't know, but I would want to get him like
- 5:22Speaker 1: really hyped up.
- 5:23Speaker 2: And I'll tell you one thing.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm going to need a lawyer, and then you're free
- 5:28Speaker 1: to we need to play clue.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not asking for a lawyer.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Why you're talking.
- 5:33Speaker 2: No, if I didn't do it, I'm because that I
- 5:36Speaker 2: feel like I look guilty. I'm going no, I didn't
- 5:39Speaker 2: do it.
- 5:39Speaker 5: We'll see in prison.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Nobe.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Yeah, even if you didn't do it, lawyer.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Or maybe I pretend I did it just for a
- 5:47Speaker 2: little excitement. I'm like, I don't know.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Did I do it just because I feel like someone
- 5:52Speaker 4: needs to babysit your life for just a moment?
- 5:57Speaker 1: They did I do?
- 5:59Speaker 2: I put it like knife in under my pillow or something, and.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Then you can be on Oranges of the New Black.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Did you guys see that woman who like went insane
- 6:08Speaker 4: on her boyfriend and killed him, but like they don't
- 6:11Speaker 4: know if she did it yet.
- 6:13Speaker 1: They leave her in the room, they leave her, She's like, yeah,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I did it, Yeah, I fucking did it. I think
- 6:21Speaker 1: we can make the arrest. Now, well, did you kill him? Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I fucking did it. It goes insane.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Wait, well what is that documentary you guys where they
- 6:31Speaker 2: left his mic on?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's how they caught him.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Oh that's so good.
- 6:36Speaker 1: It's so good. What would you guys want to be?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Oh, okay, I'll tell you. I thought about this. This
- 6:41Speaker 2: is a real life answer.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Because you wanted to be a nurse.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Well, I wanted to until I fainted after blood. I
- 6:47Speaker 2: wanted to be a nurse. Then I went to event organizer.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Then I went into anesthesiologist. Then I went into music
- 6:55Speaker 2: business degree and now and that's what I graduated, didn't
- 7:01Speaker 2: graduate with and then anyway.
- 7:05Speaker 4: So you've lived a lot of life for someone of
- 7:08Speaker 4: like thirty something years old, Like that's too.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, how long did you do the I was.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Going to school, so it was nursing, and then I
- 7:16Speaker 2: was like, I could be an anesthesiologist. So I started
- 7:19Speaker 2: taking like the pre med classes and then I was like, no,
- 7:22Speaker 2: I can't do this. But all of that to say,
- 7:25Speaker 2: I got into like writing and moved to la all
- 7:29Speaker 2: of that. But here's what it is. I really thought
- 7:32Speaker 2: about this last night when we posted this. My dream
- 7:35Speaker 2: job is to have, is to create content that brings
- 7:39Speaker 2: people joy. So technically I'm living my dream job because
- 7:43Speaker 2: we have this podcast and people smile and they laugh,
- 7:48Speaker 2: and as much little meanies as there are out there
- 7:52Speaker 2: sending me yucky dms, there are even way more nice people.
- 7:56Speaker 2: So that is technically it now now, So I love
- 8:00Speaker 2: it like this is the great I mean, it's clear
- 8:02Speaker 2: that this is the greatest job I've ever had. I
- 8:04Speaker 2: love you, I love this crew. This is like I
- 8:06Speaker 2: love it.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I love you're You're in your element.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I'm in my element. I'm in my dream. If we're
- 8:12Speaker 2: gonna go like fun and silly, I guess maybe something
- 8:16Speaker 2: to do with I don't know. I was gonna say murder,
- 8:20Speaker 2: but I just don't think I could do it. It's
- 8:21Speaker 2: just not real. I just don't think I could do
- 8:23Speaker 2: like a murder. Like if we're really going dream job,
- 8:26Speaker 2: I'm living it.
- 8:27Speaker 1: What about a lawyer criminal?
- 8:31Speaker 5: That's what? Yeah, it's me?
- 8:32Speaker 4: Would you want to I don't know it suits, a
- 8:35Speaker 4: criminal attorney. Are they criminal lawyers? They would have to
- 8:39Speaker 4: so I can't imagine any other interesting.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it made me want like I like the lifestyle.
- 8:46Speaker 5: I don't know, it's just it's inviting and that's what
- 8:49Speaker 5: I would like to do. You can choose that or
- 8:52Speaker 5: like a detective.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Wait, a singer but I can't sing.
- 8:57Speaker 1: That doesn't matter. This is a This is what you
- 9:00Speaker 1: would want to be if you could be.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Oh my god, Tate McCray, what kind of music would
- 9:04Speaker 2: you sing Tay mccray's music.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm not familiar with who this person is.
- 9:09Speaker 2: She just is like pop, but she's like it's like
- 9:12Speaker 2: R and B and she dances. I can't dance either,
- 9:15Speaker 2: but if I could sing and.
- 9:16Speaker 7: Dance, she's almost like the new Britney spears as a
- 9:18Speaker 7: sense of like she has she dances to every song
- 9:21Speaker 7: she has.
- 9:22Speaker 5: She has a dance and she's so concerts are really good.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So she's like an actual performer.
- 9:28Speaker 5: She was a dancer before a singer or yes.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Or Chapel Roone. Chaperone's amazing too. She's big into like
- 9:34Speaker 2: the drag scene anyway.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Okay, so that's what you would be if you could
- 9:38Speaker 4: be that, yes, excellent, and Easton you said you'd want
- 9:41Speaker 4: to be something along the line like a criminal attorney
- 9:44Speaker 4: like suits and then.
- 9:45Speaker 5: It probably just a detective.
- 9:47Speaker 7: It would be I mean, music would be fun like
- 9:49Speaker 7: I would love to be like a like a jock
- 9:51Speaker 7: queeze like sing or yeah, Trey Songs, M I could see.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Ray Songs is a little whiny though.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Well I'm just saying and baked sing August.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Artist Augustyle Sina entanglement.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Oh what's a Trey Songs song? Is it like making
- 10:14Speaker 2: love face? Is?
- 10:16Speaker 4: What was a song we were listening to on the
- 10:19Speaker 4: way here that he was like kind of crying.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Let's see the first song that pops up with Trey
- 10:23Speaker 2: Songs and see if you guys can guess that just barely.
- 10:26Speaker 1: It was like a couple of weeks ago. I think
- 10:28Speaker 1: being a singer would be.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Funny, La la you, but you could actually sing, and
- 10:33Speaker 2: so can you.
- 10:33Speaker 4: I want to be I would want to be like
- 10:36Speaker 4: Celine Dion type style. Honestly, I don't mean I don't
- 10:40Speaker 4: like dancing is cool. But when I think about what
- 10:44Speaker 4: kind of artist I would want to be, it would
- 10:46Speaker 4: be like the Adeles, like give me a mic, minimal
- 10:51Speaker 4: instruments behind me. Did you guys watch her perform Easy
- 10:55Speaker 4: on Me where it's just her, the mic Her instrumentals
- 11:00Speaker 4: and then just like the ocean, like ocean waves in
- 11:02Speaker 4: the background.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Giant No, but I just got goosebumps because I was
- 11:06Speaker 2: thought you were talking about the observatory performance. Did you
- 11:08Speaker 2: see any of that?
- 11:09Speaker 4: I've seen pretty much all of her performances. I go
- 11:12Speaker 4: into a an adel.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Hole an adele hole a right now.
- 11:23Speaker 1: That's what I go into. What do our friends want
- 11:25Speaker 1: to be?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Our friends are so fun?
- 11:27Speaker 4: Because you know what Naa says. I know why I can't.
- 11:31Speaker 4: I know why I can't.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Be what I want to be, be what I want
- 11:34Speaker 2: to be if I work hard at it, If I
- 11:36Speaker 2: work hard at it.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I'll be where I want to be. There we go,
- 11:39Speaker 1: So let's see.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Let's see. Uh, bitch can drink? Said, bitch can drink?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Bitch can drink? Currently a retail manager would love to
- 11:51Speaker 2: run a beach bar? That adds up with your handle?
- 11:55Speaker 2: Also that incredible?
- 12:00Speaker 1: She wants to own a beach bark?
- 12:01Speaker 2: Would love to run a beach or? How fun would
- 12:03Speaker 2: that be?
- 12:03Speaker 1: I wonder where?
- 12:05Speaker 2: Probably Hawaii, guys, that sounds so fun. Back up, we
- 12:11Speaker 2: have a food truck or a coffee truck in the
- 12:13Speaker 2: North Shore, like where we vacation. How fun.
- 12:16Speaker 1: That would be a lot of fun. You know what?
- 12:18Speaker 4: Sometimes every time I think like I want to be
- 12:20Speaker 4: in a big city solving crime.
- 12:22Speaker 1: And then I'm like, you know what, maybe I just
- 12:24Speaker 1: want to make like fish tacos in Hawaii or.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Right, or work at Dole in Hawaii. You guys go, no,
- 12:34Speaker 5: but it.
- 12:35Speaker 1: But We're there for two weeks this year.
- 12:37Speaker 2: So I'm so freaking excited, and let me tell you,
- 12:39Speaker 2: I'm going no matter what.
- 12:41Speaker 1: To Dole to Hawaii, WI. Yeah, well you can stay
- 12:45Speaker 1: with us if you want.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I have to give me Hawaii or give me death.
- 12:50Speaker 2: This person says radiology tech. Oh my gosh, my absolute
- 12:57Speaker 2: dream is a flight attendant. Hard eyes boy. You could
- 13:01Speaker 2: do this, I think, But we don't know the life.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Yeah maybe, yeah, kids, maybe you never.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Know, right because flight attendants. I feel like most of
- 13:10Speaker 4: the flight attendants that I know don't have children, or
- 13:15Speaker 4: their children are older. However, I've been on planes with
- 13:20Speaker 4: flight attendants and they'll sit there and talk to their
- 13:23Speaker 4: fellow flight attendant or talking about how they have like
- 13:28Speaker 4: two weeks off and they're gonna go with their kids
- 13:30Speaker 4: to go camping or something like that. So I feel
- 13:34Speaker 4: like it's about finding balance in life, right, because here's
- 13:37Speaker 4: a deal. We have to bring in paychecks, and like
- 13:40Speaker 4: my mom says, you're at your job more than your
- 13:44Speaker 4: like at home, you spend most of your time because
- 13:48Speaker 4: it's intense to pay bills.
- 13:49Speaker 1: We got to work, right, So you need to be
- 13:52Speaker 1: doing something that you love a lot.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah you do, missus.
- 13:57Speaker 4: I picture myself as like Britney Spears in Toxic if
- 14:01Speaker 4: I were a flight attendant.
- 14:02Speaker 2: A hundred with the red dress right now and that hat,
- 14:07Speaker 2: That's how I would dress. That's toxic, you guys.
- 14:14Speaker 1: And that is so funny. What are other people saying?
- 14:21Speaker 2: Oh, I love this? Why is this making me emotional?
- 14:24Speaker 2: I started as a hairdresser, had kids, stayed home. Now
- 14:28Speaker 2: I have a flower farm, which is my real dream job.
- 14:33Speaker 2: A flower farm. How dreamy is that? That's like story bookshit.
- 14:38Speaker 5: You couldn't be unhappy clipping flowers.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Like you know what she could do, honest to god,
- 14:45Speaker 4: what she could have like a full Instagram account based
- 14:50Speaker 4: off of her flower farm and like make floral arrangements
- 14:56Speaker 4: and get paid a ton of money to be doing
- 14:58Speaker 4: that like she might though, Oh did she say she's
- 15:01Speaker 4: that's her dream job.
- 15:03Speaker 2: She's living it.
- 15:05Speaker 1: She's living it.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yes, That's why I was like, I got goosebumps. Because
- 15:10Speaker 2: she was a then had kids, then stayed home, and
- 15:14Speaker 2: then started a flower farm. She probably does either Instagram
- 15:19Speaker 2: or she takes her flowers to farmer's markets and you
- 15:23Speaker 2: know how you sell them there, and they're so beautiful.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I love that.
- 15:28Speaker 4: When Lisa vander Pump's father passed away, I reached out
- 15:35Speaker 4: to Pandora and I said, because you know LVP. When
- 15:40Speaker 4: you think of LVP, you think, oh my gosh, fabulous, right,
- 15:45Speaker 4: just everything is over the top. You think like very feminine,
- 15:48Speaker 4: girly crystals, diamonds, all the stuff, popping champagne. But I
- 15:53Speaker 4: really think flowers because she's the woman, and she doesn't
- 15:58Speaker 4: send anyone down uh to go grab the flowers in
- 16:01Speaker 4: downtown La. She goes bright and early to get the
- 16:05Speaker 4: best ones for all of her restaurants in her house,
- 16:07Speaker 4: so she has fresh florals weekly, probably yeah and grand.
- 16:14Speaker 4: So I was asking Pandora, I'm like, Okay, I want
- 16:18Speaker 4: to send her something, and she probably doesn't have much
- 16:21Speaker 4: of an appetite because sometimes what I'll do is I'll
- 16:24Speaker 4: send flowers.
- 16:25Speaker 1: But also I always go back.
- 16:27Speaker 4: To Paris Hilton in the Simple Life when she talks
- 16:30Speaker 4: about getting flowers and she's like, thanks, they're gonna die
- 16:32Speaker 4: in like two days, and Nicole is like, it's the thought, Paris,
- 16:37Speaker 4: it's the thought.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So I always think that way.
- 16:40Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, so I'm gonna send something they can
- 16:42Speaker 4: consume as well. So I asked Pandora and she said
- 16:47Speaker 4: and in it, I said, I know your mom's like
- 16:49Speaker 4: the queen of flowers, so I don't want to send
- 16:50Speaker 4: her something that she's already like bombarded with on a
- 16:53Speaker 4: regular basis. And she said, you can send her whatever
- 16:57Speaker 4: you feel comfortable sending, but she has a passion for flowers.
- 17:03Speaker 4: So I ended up sending the flowers.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Anyway, I don't know why that took me.
- 17:07Speaker 4: There, but I'm like, there are people like our second mom,
- 17:11Speaker 4: Kristin Russen.
- 17:12Speaker 1: It's like florals are life.
- 17:14Speaker 2: They're so special. I love fresh flowers, and I love it.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I will go to Trader Joe's and buy flesh fresh
- 17:20Speaker 2: flowers for the house well when I have the time.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Once a week.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I love that, Yeah, I have.
- 17:25Speaker 7: I think another dream job I would have is like
- 17:28Speaker 7: owning like a pet sanctuary and.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Like just having a giant far Yeah, like a big
- 17:34Speaker 5: land where they can all run and you.
- 17:36Speaker 7: Know that, Lisa, all of it, like just any type
- 17:41Speaker 7: of animal.
- 17:42Speaker 5: Donkeys, fuck it, bring them.
- 17:44Speaker 1: On, donkey yeah, dam so much land.
- 17:47Speaker 7: Just land and just like taking care of them, making
- 17:49Speaker 7: sure their hooves are clean, just things like that and just.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Give them a good place and then adopting out. You know.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I'm kind of like, mom, Yeah.
- 17:56Speaker 5: That's my dream job. That's something that I could love forever.
- 17:59Speaker 4: I've been thinking about the next type of home I
- 18:02Speaker 4: want to buy, and I'm.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Like, maybe relatable. I'm just kidding.
- 18:07Speaker 1: No, no, no, I don't mean that this is happening
- 18:10Speaker 1: just for the hell of it.
- 18:12Speaker 4: It's just for fun. I just like enjoy looking at
- 18:14Speaker 4: real estate. It's not like I'm like what can I
- 18:16Speaker 4: buy now, just like a simple piece of property. No,
- 18:20Speaker 4: I'm just thinking like for fun. Yes, of course, I'm
- 18:23Speaker 4: like what would be cool to be in next? And
- 18:27Speaker 4: I'm like a lake house would be super cooler. I'm like, oh,
- 18:30Speaker 4: a mountain house again, just like throwing shit out there
- 18:34Speaker 4: zillowing it and my mom our mom has said she
- 18:38Speaker 4: wants me to get her a place and I think
- 18:41Speaker 4: it's called what's it called Jessica acting, Oh.
- 18:45Speaker 2: My god, acting in acting where we went to the
- 18:49Speaker 2: farm Sanctuary. Yes, beautiful, beautiful.
- 18:53Speaker 4: She wants me to get her a piece of property
- 18:56Speaker 4: there to fill with. She wants a cow, she wants
- 19:00Speaker 4: a couple horses, she wants a pig, she wants a goat.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Yes, acton, I know there's a there's an Akron, Ohio.
- 19:09Speaker 2: This is act in California. And we went to the
- 19:10Speaker 2: Farm Sanctory.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Either there's an It's beautiful, the city mountainous, stunning.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I think I want one day because I do the
- 19:19Speaker 2: same thing. I would like like my normal house, which
- 19:23Speaker 2: is in California. Then I think I want a northern
- 19:26Speaker 2: California ranch or like Montana or something. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 2: lots of land. And then I want a Finger Lakes house.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I kind of want an upstate New York house to I.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Think sunning there. You would love it. We have to
- 19:38Speaker 2: take an upstate New York trip and Dorinda can meet
- 19:41Speaker 2: us there because she loves it.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Okay, tell us more about what people want to do.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Okay, property manager now dreamed of being a coroner, would
- 19:50Speaker 2: rather deal with dead people than living people.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Also this is a possibility.
- 19:57Speaker 4: As she's wait and what is she as? She's like
- 19:59Speaker 4: a the property She's like, what I would give to
- 20:03Speaker 4: be in balming a body?
- 20:05Speaker 5: I'd give this person to be dead.
- 20:07Speaker 1: She's like, all I want to do is like dress
- 20:09Speaker 1: a corpus.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Oh that's a phobia of mine.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I think dress dead people.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's scary, but some people love it. Kyle's cousin
- 20:17Speaker 2: does it thrives really?
- 20:20Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. There's a lot of fucking
- 20:22Speaker 1: money in that business. Oh yeah, because people come in
- 20:26Speaker 1: they're so no family.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Dead inside, yes everything.
- 20:32Speaker 4: They want the best for their loved ones, right, and
- 20:36Speaker 4: they sit there and they're like, I'm so sorry for
- 20:38Speaker 4: your loss.
- 20:39Speaker 1: This he deserves to be in this beautiful casket and this.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Thirty five thousand dollars pearl lioned casket.
- 20:47Speaker 5: They do.
- 20:48Speaker 1: There's there's so much money to be made in that business.
- 20:52Speaker 4: And I know that sounds so morbid, but hello, watch
- 20:55Speaker 4: og episodes of Atlanta where Pedra opens a mortuary or.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Is that what it's called mortuary?
- 21:04Speaker 5: Yes?
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeahs are and there is, yes.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Money and no one's thinking a thing because they just think, oh,
- 21:14Speaker 4: they're right, and people get upset and spend a lot
- 21:16Speaker 4: of money.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I know because I did that ship.
- 21:19Speaker 4: I went in when my dad had passed away and
- 21:21Speaker 4: we were cremating him, because I'll be damned if he
- 21:23Speaker 4: was in the ground.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a phobia of mine.
- 21:26Speaker 5: I'm like, my dad in the ground.
- 21:27Speaker 1: No, I can't do it. And they were like, okay
- 21:33Speaker 1: with that. We just put them in like a basically
- 21:36Speaker 1: cardboard box. And I was like, absolutely not right.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Even though it's going in the ground and it's still
- 21:44Speaker 4: in the ground, it was going to be engulfed.
- 21:49Speaker 2: It was in a urn. That's what it's called, right, right.
- 21:52Speaker 1: But they have to put it.
- 21:53Speaker 4: They have to put not it the body, God rest
- 21:56Speaker 4: his soul. They put it into where they cremate people.
- 22:01Speaker 4: I don't know the exact bakery, bake it, whatever they
- 22:04Speaker 4: call it, okay, and I'm not it all goes into flames.
- 22:10Speaker 2: What's it called, producer John, that's fire the fire metal
- 22:15Speaker 2: uh contraption.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Yes, where they put bodies that they the families have
- 22:20Speaker 4: chosen to cremate them. Yes, okay, And I was not
- 22:23Speaker 4: going to have my dad in the basic shiit No, okay, No,
- 22:27Speaker 4: so I spent a lot of money on a very
- 22:30Speaker 4: nice casket to put into the the fire.
- 22:33Speaker 2: What's it called cremation?
- 22:35Speaker 5: Cremation chamber?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Oh, I don't love that, nation. I don't love that,
- 22:40Speaker 2: you guys, I don't love that at all. We need
- 22:42Speaker 2: to change that name immediately.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I don't like that either. I don't like the word chamber.
- 22:52Speaker 2: No, that's not good unless we're talking about the chamber
- 22:55Speaker 2: of secrets. Harry Potter, Harry Polta. No, if the death
- 23:01Speaker 2: business is a racket, and if I pass away, if
- 23:06Speaker 2: I die young, float me out to see I'm not
- 23:08Speaker 2: fucking kidding.
- 23:10Speaker 1: So what you actually want is, if you die young.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Bury you in satin, lay me down on a bed of.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Roses, will float you down the river at dawn.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Yeah, honestly, just prop me up beside a jukebox. What
- 23:25Speaker 2: other songs can we quote? Prop me up beside a jukebox?
- 23:30Speaker 2: If I want to go to heaven but I don't
- 23:37Speaker 2: want to goa and you guys don't know that song.
- 23:41Speaker 8: It doesn't ring, okay, But I co sign on that
- 23:48Speaker 8: person not liking people who are breathing.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Yes, but can we quickly for them? They want to
- 23:54Speaker 2: be a corner. I don't know your situation, but if
- 23:58Speaker 2: that's your dream job, in my mind, I'm like, you
- 24:00Speaker 2: could take online classes.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Wait, a corner? What he wanted a corner?
- 24:07Speaker 4: Does a body always go to a corner first? The
- 24:09Speaker 4: only time I've seen a corner is when the body
- 24:11Speaker 4: has been murdered.
- 24:12Speaker 2: No, a corner always. How do you think they get embalmed?
- 24:15Speaker 4: Okay, I thought I went on some tangent that had
- 24:18Speaker 4: nothing to do with what they wanted to do.
- 24:21Speaker 2: They get embalmed a lot of I don't know if
- 24:22Speaker 2: corner I remember Kylie Jenner did and keeping up? She did?
- 24:27Speaker 2: Oh no, she did it on Chris's body?
- 24:29Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Okay, Well, anyway, you know what you need people who
- 24:33Speaker 4: are willing to do those things.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Do you guys think ever think it's too late to
- 24:37Speaker 2: start like this person? Do you think I never think
- 24:40Speaker 2: it's too late to go after your dream job? If
- 24:42Speaker 2: you can, I don't know.
- 24:44Speaker 4: No, there's definitely a time limit on things like I
- 24:47Speaker 4: don't think I can go play in the NBA right now.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Like it's absolutely correct, you know, And I love Jelly
- 24:55Speaker 4: Roll when he sits there and he's like, whoever told
- 24:57Speaker 4: you you can't do it? I never thought i'd be
- 24:59Speaker 4: accept a CMT award at the age of forty. And
- 25:02Speaker 4: I'm like, yes, I feel you, but you are one
- 25:06Speaker 4: in probably a billion.
- 25:08Speaker 2: But that'll never happen for other people.
- 25:11Speaker 4: But I don't like, yes, I want to inspire people
- 25:15Speaker 4: to go be what they want, but time is a
- 25:17Speaker 4: tick in, buddy. So that's why we got to sit
- 25:20Speaker 4: down with these kids and say, what do you want
- 25:23Speaker 4: out of life?
- 25:24Speaker 2: Hmmmm?
- 25:25Speaker 4: Okay, how can we put you in a place where
- 25:28Speaker 4: you love doing what you're doing, but you're also making
- 25:31Speaker 4: money and guess what, You're not going to enjoy it
- 25:34Speaker 4: all of the time. Even when you're working your dream job,
- 25:38Speaker 4: there are gonna be.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Days where you go, fuck this, I'm out.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Do you know how many times I've been sitting there
- 25:43Speaker 4: looking around, I'm like, I kind of want.
- 25:46Speaker 1: To be a sugar baby. Oh fuck all this, Oh
- 25:49Speaker 1: fuck all this, all this.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I want a sugar baby, but I just don't want
- 25:54Speaker 2: the daddy part.
- 25:56Speaker 5: I need to find an old sugar addy.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Some things that you do that you just don't enjoy,
- 26:01Speaker 1: you don't enjoy. It's a joke. It's a joke.
- 26:05Speaker 2: We all make sacrifices, we all what's the Christmas vacation line?
- 26:10Speaker 4: But it's the holidays, and we're all in misery.
- 26:15Speaker 2: We're all holidays, We're all in misery.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Just leave with your brother. You know how sick and
- 26:20Speaker 1: twisted that is.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Mom, Well we're all making I'm sleeping with your father,
- 26:30Speaker 4: and then with one one.
- 26:34Speaker 5: And then her mom, are you smoking again?
- 26:36Speaker 1: No? Okay?
- 26:41Speaker 4: But I never understood that is the mom upset because
- 26:44Speaker 4: I think the mom smokes too. And I think that
- 26:47Speaker 4: Ellen just wanted to smoke a cigarette by herself, and
- 26:49Speaker 4: her mom was like, are you smoking again?
- 26:51Speaker 1: Come joining it?
- 26:52Speaker 4: It's like, no, mom, good point.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Okay, last one, Megan.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I love this. Megan Corporate Insurance is what she works now.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Her dream job would be a weed coffee shop. Oh
- 27:08Speaker 2: my god, it's so good.
- 27:09Speaker 1: You would thrive, You would thrive.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I was gonna say that actually sounds so fun. Imagine
- 27:15Speaker 2: I actually, ethan, this could be a fun like a truck,
- 27:19Speaker 2: a food truck, and you do a like THHD coffee
- 27:23Speaker 2: teach the avocado toast, but you also have like CBD
- 27:26Speaker 2: stuff and I actually love it. I love it. Maybe
- 27:29Speaker 2: I'll sell weat one truck. Yeah in California, I'm sure.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Oh maybe not license, maybe no.
- 27:36Speaker 1: But you you can sell weed wherever you want.
- 27:41Speaker 4: You just have to there's a process. You have to
- 27:42Speaker 4: be regulated.
- 27:43Speaker 1: It's still gone.
- 27:45Speaker 4: She may want that as her dream job, but maybe
- 27:48Speaker 4: it's not legal where she is. Also, it's that's got
- 27:51Speaker 4: to be expensive, right, you got coffee shop, Well you
- 27:54Speaker 4: just have to.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Like grow, or you have to get it from someone who.
- 27:58Speaker 5: Grows, from somebody who grows, and charge it a bit.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be amazing, though. Weed coffee shop, THHD coffee,
- 28:06Speaker 2: CBD coffee I liked.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'm picturing it like the menu.
- 28:12Speaker 4: You've got your THHC options and milligrams, your CBD options,
- 28:19Speaker 4: all the food. And then I picture it as like
- 28:22Speaker 4: the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you know, when what
- 28:28Speaker 4: the fuck is her name, Denise Richards where puts her
- 28:30Speaker 4: jacket on backwards or upside down. But how they come
- 28:33Speaker 4: around and they're like how many milligrams and they're like
- 28:35Speaker 4: none for me, and then it's like five ten and
- 28:37Speaker 4: they do the drops. So that's kind of how you
- 28:41Speaker 4: would distribute the weed.
- 28:42Speaker 7: It's almost like ordering a coup like a cup of
- 28:45Speaker 7: coffee and saying I want a shot of espresso, but
- 28:47Speaker 7: now I want shots shots.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Yeah, but the weed, that's the thing, like I want.
- 28:52Speaker 1: And then guess what.
- 28:55Speaker 4: You can order your weed on the side and you distribute.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Like a coffe you with a side of a joint.
- 29:01Speaker 2: So I actually love this idea. Can we do it
- 29:05Speaker 2: in a wahu?
- 29:06Speaker 1: And then they're like, what do you want?
- 29:09Speaker 4: Uh, your your blunt to be rolled with and you
- 29:13Speaker 4: can order like what is it black and wild or whatever.
- 29:18Speaker 5: Flavor flavored papers or guys.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I don't really like this idea.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I do too. I think we should steal it.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Meghan, We're sorry, no, but Megan's in corporate insurance. This
- 29:28Speaker 2: is like, this is like a TV show, the bad
- 29:30Speaker 2: bitch in corporate insurance who's trying to get into like
- 29:33Speaker 2: selling weed coffee. I love this, Megan.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Let's talk about.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Script writing. This current is a pediatric occupational therapist. Amazing
- 29:45Speaker 2: dream is in the same line as Disney cast member.
- 29:51Speaker 1: A Disney cast member.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Disneyland. Yeah, like the princess or.
- 29:56Speaker 1: This person is a good human.
- 29:58Speaker 2: An amazing heart. Britt. Oh and and BRIT's photo is
- 30:06Speaker 2: a dog. It's her and her partner guy I'm assuming,
- 30:10Speaker 2: and then a dog in the middle.
- 30:12Speaker 4: I love this woman, and can I tell you what
- 30:14Speaker 4: I love about it is, even though very very different things,
- 30:18Speaker 4: they're in the same vein as I picture it. You
- 30:21Speaker 4: start as the Disney princess, right, collect the coins, and
- 30:26Speaker 4: your end game is to be the occupational therapist for children, right,
- 30:32Speaker 4: theatric pediatric.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I love this.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Game, pediatric occupational therapist. So I get it.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Though.
- 30:39Speaker 2: That probably makes if I can be blunt a lot
- 30:41Speaker 2: more money than a Disney cast member. But maybe one
- 30:43Speaker 2: day you'll have a bunch saved up and then you
- 30:45Speaker 2: can go be the Disney cast member, you know, Yeah, yeah,
- 30:49Speaker 2: because that'd be fun.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I wonder which one she'd want to be, like a Cinderella.
- 30:53Speaker 5: I don't know. If you get a picture you are.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Wait because why oh I don't.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Get to pick.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Yeah, so like they do.
- 31:02Speaker 7: From what it looked like, who knows. This was back
- 31:04Speaker 7: in the day, probably twenty one. Yeah, she was doing
- 31:07Speaker 7: it and she was singing, but she's not there anymore
- 31:10Speaker 7: now she's like singing and doing other things.
- 31:12Speaker 5: So it opened a lot of doors for.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a lot. That's a coveted job as a
- 31:16Speaker 2: Disney cast member, and it's kids.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Did I ever tell you the first Disney character that
- 31:21Speaker 4: Ocean felt comfortable going up to?
- 31:23Speaker 1: No, Sully, No, no.
- 31:27Speaker 4: My daughter is terrified of any type of mascot or
- 31:30Speaker 4: anyone dressed up. So for the most part, when we
- 31:32Speaker 4: would go to Disneyland with her friends, while Summer Moon
- 31:36Speaker 4: would be waiting in line to take a picture with Cinderella,
- 31:40Speaker 4: Ocean wanted nothing to do with it. But she loves
- 31:42Speaker 4: Disney princesses, and she cared more about the ducks.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Okay, the ducks, but it's funny.
- 31:48Speaker 4: We're walking she sees little bo Peep and is obsessed
- 31:56Speaker 4: and wants a photo. And I was like, you want
- 31:58Speaker 4: to take you want to stay and next to her,
- 32:00Speaker 4: You're going to be like these little kids.
- 32:02Speaker 1: And she said, yeah, did.
- 32:03Speaker 2: She have her sheep or like a s no, no,
- 32:05Speaker 2: she lost them, but.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Still she lost her sheep?
- 32:11Speaker 2: Really did she have the.
- 32:17Speaker 1: It's hurting device for her sheep?
- 32:21Speaker 5: The sheep?
- 32:22Speaker 4: The kids were She's too worried wondering where wood he is?
- 32:27Speaker 2: Woody, I'm too worried wondering where what you kidding?
- 32:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what that was.
- 32:32Speaker 4: The wow Disney character that ocean felt comfortable enough.
- 32:35Speaker 2: And now she likes them all because she must like that.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Why did I not post that post? What that was
- 32:40Speaker 1: post worthy?
- 32:41Speaker 4: Her taking the picture and she just stood there like
- 32:44Speaker 4: this ocean did. And I went to walk away, Mom, Mom,
- 32:51Speaker 4: and I'm like, can you smile?
- 32:52Speaker 1: And she's like, she's so cute. I love her soon,
- 33:00Speaker 1: all right, my loves.
- 33:01Speaker 4: I know that we all have dream jobs, but I
- 33:03Speaker 4: hope the jobs that you do have you enjoy a
- 33:06Speaker 4: tad since we spent a lot of time there, and
- 33:08Speaker 4: I really appreciate you guys sending your stuff in. And
- 33:13Speaker 4: why mine constantly goes back to murder when I have
- 33:16Speaker 4: such a big fear of blood.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I hope my victim wasn't. What's a strength?
- 33:26Speaker 2: So there was no blood or poison or asphyxiating.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Yeah, welcome to the Giodcast.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Thank you for listening. I love you guys.
- 33:36Speaker 4: We'll catch you next Monday for another bonus episode.
