Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #235 - What Nick Fuentes Gets WRONG About Christianity and Israel
Transcript
- 0:00Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Brandon Fogel. You are watching Evolution,
- 0:03the only legitimate evolution there is.
- 0:06Today, we're going to be talking about Nick Fuentes and his views on Israel,
- 0:11and are they valid or not, and should we embrace them?
- 0:15So what's being presented as Christian rhetoric is actually a theological inversion.
- 0:22Judaism is being reframed as the enemy of Christianity rather than its foundation.
- 0:27This inversion is not representative of Christianity as a whole,
- 0:32and is historically distorted. Before we go any further, I want to remind you
- 0:35to smash that like button, subscribe to this channel, and drop a comment.
- 0:40I might even go through some of your comments in this show, but we're going
- 0:44to really be getting into the weeds today.
- 0:46I don't know if you're a person that likes to get into the weeds.
- 0:49At times it can be good, but we are going to get into the weeds,
- 0:52so I want to let you know ahead of time for that.
- 0:55This is going to be very specific and what we're going to focus in on because
- 0:59it's not just general talking about Israel and this whole divide that is happening
- 1:04within the West and this uprising of people, of young men primarily,
- 1:11that are being told that Israel is the enemy of everyone.
- 1:15And before I go any further, I am not being paid by Israel. I've never received
- 1:19anything from a Jewish person.
- 1:22These are just my views, pure and simple. If I start getting paid by Israel,
- 1:26I'll let you know. This is just what I think.
- 1:29I'm not like, this is where I stand. I'm not moving.
- 1:33This is just what I think. This is what I believe. We're going to get into what
- 1:37I think, what Nick Fuentes does.
- 1:39And I respect him a lot. I really admire him in a lot of ways.
- 1:43I watch his show constantly. I agree with a lot of the things he says.
- 1:47He says a lot of things that are correct.
- 1:49What I disagree with him, which you could say is the primary point of his show
- 1:54is Israel. So that's kind of where I, I'm not on the same page with him and the Jewish people.
- 1:59And it's, it's very specific because he's right.
- 2:04There is organized Jewelry. There is, this is, there is a thing that is happening in our world.
- 2:10But where I stand, I come from the point of view that I believe that Israel
- 2:14is God's chosen people, that they are the chosen people of God,
- 2:17you know, but they do things wrong. They're not perfect. This is a Fuentes updates.
- 2:21Any Protestant claiming whoever blesses Israel will be blessed and whoever curses
- 2:25Israel will be cursed is not recognizing the new covenant of Jesus Christ.
- 2:30Judaism in Israel, although it's the same people, they're practicing an altogether
- 2:34different religion. So this is when the whole Ted Cruz, Tucker Carlson had their
- 2:39whole podcast conversation together that went, you know, went on fire and Ted Cruz, he just.
- 2:45Said the party line and that he stands with Israel kind of
- 2:48like if anyone's watching this probably thinks that I'm saying the same thing
- 2:50as well but I'm not being paid by Israel you know you might just think
- 2:53I'm just stupid that way but I'm not I just
- 2:56I I I stand with him in a lot of ways and I want to be very like careful and
- 3:01nuanced how I'm saying this and how I'm saying this I'm not trying to just ruffle
- 3:05anyone's feathers and I'm not trying to just thank you you want say I'm just
- 3:08a stupid goy that's bought into this I'm not I I agree with a lot of things are saying,
- 3:13but let's just actually just jump into this conversation because this is Nick's reaction to this.
- 3:18And I want to kind of boil this down because he brings up the new covenant.
- 3:22A little fact about me. I'm a little nerdy, a little Bible nerdy.
- 3:26I always kind of sometimes funnel things to the Bible. I always funnel things
- 3:30to God. I'm really theologically minded.
- 3:33That's what I think about. I think that's where I go. I'm just a nerd in that way.
- 3:37All right, let's dive into this. Let's see what Nick has to say.
- 3:40The rebuttal to this issue is that, of course, if you're a Christian, there is a New Testament,
- 3:47and the Testament is a covenant, the Old Testament, the New Testament,
- 3:51the Old Covenant, the New Covenant.
- 3:53And they're the covenants that God made with Noah and with Abraham and with Isaac and so on.
- 3:58And with Moses, there's a covenant that God made with the Jewish nation and the Jewish kingdom.
- 4:03And then there's a covenant that God made with mankind when Jesus
- 4:06Christ arrived in the New testament the new covenant so
- 4:10if you're familiar with what he's talking about he breaks down the because the
- 4:13bible is full of covenants and that's a real thing it and that's it's it's god's
- 4:18making these covenant with people specific people at specific times in history
- 4:23for a reason what just happened and he's making it sometimes it's.
- 4:27An agreement that God has to meet certain conditions. And then the other party
- 4:31has to meet certain conditions.
- 4:32And then there's times where it's God fully. He's going to do it.
- 4:35It has nothing to do with the other side, keeping their side of the agreement.
- 4:39He brings up the new covenant, which most people are just familiar with that.
- 4:43The new covenant, because Jesus comes and he says at the Last Supper,
- 4:48this is my blood of the new covenant, which he's making. He's shedding for all mankind.
- 4:55And what people think about that, that is specifically for everyone,
- 4:59that he's making that covenant with everyone.
- 5:03But who he's talking to are Jews. He's talking to his apostles who are Jews.
- 5:10And they would have been familiar. So this is from actually in Jeremiah,
- 5:14in the Old Testament, because this is where this is the crux of the matter,
- 5:17because Nick is Catholic.
- 5:20And it seems like a lot of times that Catholics, they're not as entrenched in
- 5:24the Bible as some other people, as people that are familiar with,
- 5:28they just go and are told what to think about the Bible as opposed to getting it to themselves.
- 5:32And every time I hear him talk to somebody or someone bring up the Bible or
- 5:36scripture or theological thing, he quickly dismisses it. He doesn't really want
- 5:42to go down that road at all.
- 5:43He doesn't even think it's worth his time. It feels like I might be completely wrong.
- 5:48I might be reading the room wrong and how he feels. I don't know.
- 5:51I'm just have my perception.
- 5:53But if we really get into it, because I think sometimes Catholics,
- 5:56they just count some of the scriptures and they think the Old Testament,
- 6:01since the New Testament is here, the Old Testament is done away with.
- 6:05Because we're trained to think that anything that's new is good.
- 6:09Anything that's old is, you know, that's old news. I don't need to know that.
- 6:14I don't need to worry about that anymore. But if we really want to get down
- 6:18to it, the ancient things and what has lasted for the longest time almost have more credibility.
- 6:23And a lot of times the Bible is built off the foundation, which is the books
- 6:28of Moses, the first five books.
- 6:30That's the foundation of everything. When Jesus was walking around,
- 6:34he didn't have a Bible. Like he didn't have like,
- 6:37The New Testament, the writings about his life, they were yet to be written
- 6:40and he was actually living it out.
- 6:42So all they would have known was the New Testament. That's all they had.
- 6:46And once Jesus Christ arrived, it changed everything.
- 6:50And not only was Israel replaced, not only was the old Israel replaced by the
- 6:54new Israel. That's what my shirt says.
- 6:57He's going to use the word. And this is really pulling back the veil.
- 7:00He's using that word replaced over and over repeatedly replaced.
- 7:05The old Israel was the Jewish nation. The new Israel is the body of the church, the Christians.
- 7:11But everything was transformed. The old sacrifice of animals was replaced by
- 7:16the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, Jesus.
- 7:18The old temple, which was in Jerusalem in Israel, was replaced with the new
- 7:23temple, which is the church, which is Jesus.
- 7:26The old priestly... See, right now, a lot of people that would be listening
- 7:30to Nick, because it feels like you just take what he says as authority.
- 7:34Like that, that what he is saying is nothing more can be said.
- 7:38He said it, it's done, finished.
- 7:40And that they just say, oh yeah, that's, that's right. But is what he's saying, is it correct?
- 7:45Did all these things, did Jesus come and just this new like movement,
- 7:50did it just replace and do away with everything in the past that had been building
- 7:54up to this, his whole life, everything written about him was pointing towards him.
- 7:59Did he come and then it's all done away with, forget about it.
- 8:02The whole 10 commandments kind of thing, all those laws, everything about Israel,
- 8:05the covenants and all that.
- 8:07I would argue that the new covenant itself hasn't even actually began.
- 8:15He inaugurated it in a sense and he, with his blood spilling on the cross,
- 8:19but it's not going to happen because the things that are promised in the new
- 8:22covenant, when you actually get into it and read all the promises about it,
- 8:26they haven't been realized.
- 8:28And it's like, as Christians, we're waiting for those, we're like reaching ahead
- 8:33into that new era, that new period in time that we see everything's going to be perfect.
- 8:39Jesus is going to establish a kingdom here on earth, literally,
- 8:43physically, in our life.
- 8:45We're going to see him ruling and reigning, that he's making peace between everyone.
- 8:51We don't walk outside and see peace done and made with everyone.
- 8:54So it hasn't truly actually began.
- 8:58But it's like we can reach ahead into that time period. The class was replaced
- 9:01by the new priestly class. The old everything was replaced by the new everything.
- 9:05And that's why the temple was destroyed. The veil was torn. The temple was destroyed.
- 9:11The Jews were scattered. This
- 9:13is all pursuant to what Christ said in the gospel, in the New Testament.
- 9:17I don't know how familiar he is with actually, if he's read through the first
- 9:21five books of Moses, the Genesis through Deuteronomy.
- 9:24Because when you really get down to it, The covenant that was made with Israel
- 9:29at Mount Sinai, it was that if you keep your side of the agreement, I'm going to bless you.
- 9:35You're going to have this land. You're going to live and prosper.
- 9:38Everything's going to go great for you. But if you don't, you're going to be
- 9:41cursed and you're going to be thrown out.
- 9:43But then there are promises that you will be brought back to this land.
- 9:47It's like a prophecy that it will happen.
- 9:49And people that just hear Nick, they're not familiar with what it actually says.
- 9:55They're not familiar. They haven't read through it or they've just kind of said,
- 9:58oh, that's just the old news. Jesus came.
- 10:01He did away with it. When, if you really got down to who Jesus is,
- 10:05he wouldn't say that he's just done away with, in fact, he said the exact opposite.
- 10:10He did. He's not going to do away with any of it, but it's, it is fulfilled in him.
- 10:15He he's the one who carried out and lived out the perfect life we can't live and died for us.
- 10:20But it's not that all those commandments, everything, those promises are just,
- 10:24you know, that's the thing of the past.
- 10:26We're moving on to the new man. It's not that because the two could not go on in parallel.
- 10:33Temple worship and temple sacrifice in the old Jewish nation representing that
- 10:38old covenant could not exist simultaneously parallel with the new covenant,
- 10:43the new temple, the new sacrifice, the new church,
- 10:47one had to be destroyed.
- 10:49And that's why the Roman empire destroyed the temple in 70 AD.
- 10:53And then in the second century, the Jews were scattered.
- 10:56It was a judgment that happened. It was a judgment that, that God allowed to
- 11:00happen because his people were obviously unfaithful as a whole,
- 11:05as a collective whole in rejecting the Messiah.
- 11:08As you can see, I'm not going to be really that people that are Jewish,
- 11:11people that are of Israel, that are of Israel, They're not going to look at
- 11:15me as like too, too thrilled when I'm saying that them rejecting Jesus as the Messiah.
- 11:21That was a terrible, awful thing. And that's why God's righteous judgment came
- 11:26upon you and came upon them and scattered them throughout the entire world.
- 11:29We're going to actually jump up here to a little bit different angle,
- 11:32but it's certainly also interesting.
- 11:35This is, Fuentes responds to the theological argument for supporting Israel.
- 11:38It says, they say the religion is alive and the Messiah is yet to come.
- 11:42Who will inhabit the third temple and sit in the Holy of Holies on sight?
- 11:45It sounds like the Antichrist.
- 11:47Well, I mean, that is, there is some truth there. I don't take it as a good omen.
- 11:52When you say there's like a theological significance to the Jews retaining their
- 11:55religion ostensibly and then coming back to the Holy Land, I see it as actually
- 11:59a very dark omen. because of course, you know, we talk about Iran's eschatological
- 12:03views about the 12th Imam and the Makhti and all this.
- 12:07We don't talk about the Jews, which is in order for them to practice their religion,
- 12:11they need to reestablish temple worship. In order to have temple worship,
- 12:14they need another temple.
- 12:16And this is not exactly a fringe idea in Israel. They talk about sacrificing
- 12:20these red heifers, these perfect red heifers.
- 12:24And then ultimately one of the goals of the religious Zionists is to take out
- 12:28the mosque, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and rebuild the third temple.
- 12:31And this is sort of terrifying because it undoes what the caller said.
- 12:36It undoes what Christ did, which was to destroy the temple because there's a
- 12:39new sacrifice, which is him, the Lamb of God.
- 12:42There's a new temple. There's a new church, new priests. There's a new law.
- 12:46And then they were sent out. Now that they've returned, it's almost like it's working in reverse.
- 12:50They've returned to the land. And then, you know, it might point towards maybe
- 12:53they're going to rebuild the temple. And who will inhabit the temple.
- 12:56The Jews say that our religion is dead because Christ is dead,
- 12:59they say. They say their religion is alive and their Messiah is yet to come.
- 13:03Who will inhabit the third temple and sit in the Holy of Holies on the site?
- 13:08It sounds like the Antichrist.
- 13:11So, you know, and this is just sort of my speculation on this,
- 13:13but I mean, I sort of agree in a sense that you can't say it doesn't have theological
- 13:18significance, but I sort of tremble and fear what that represents.
- 13:22I don't see it as a good thing.
- 13:23And that's a valid point. And it really, it is going to be, when you really
- 13:29get down to it, it is weird because it's like we're trying, we want God's promise
- 13:33to like happen and we want Israel to come back into their land.
- 13:37I know a lot of people don't care about that. And it does seem like that,
- 13:41as we can see in Revelation, there is this Antichrist figure that is kind of ruling and reigning.
- 13:47Paul says that the Antichrist will step into the temple and declare himself to be God.
- 13:52But it's not like we want the Antichrist to be here, or we want the Antichrist
- 13:57to kill people and just rule and reign.
- 13:59That's the opposite of what Christians want. But it's not to say that there
- 14:03is value in what God had promised to the nation of Israel when he made a covenant with him.
- 14:09If they were faithful, he would put them in their land.
- 14:13He would put them in their land and he would bless them.
- 14:16I am a person that is America first.
- 14:19I believe in America first because I'm a Gentile of the nation,
- 14:23of the nation of America, and I care what's the interest of America.
- 14:26So there is some separation and disconnect where I stand on the Bible and I
- 14:34believe what the Bible says because you cannot just throw away those promises,
- 14:37what God said to the nation when he was making that covenant with them.
- 14:43You cannot just throw that away because that is there that, and it's the prophecy
- 14:48that it would come to fruition, that, that, that was their blessing.
- 14:51And they are, they are the centerpiece of this whole, this whole thing,
- 14:56this whole set, this stage that we're on.
- 14:59Israel is kind of like the center, the apple of God's eye, that everything revolves around.
- 15:04It's kind of, there is this radial theology that we all experience.
- 15:08The Israel is at the center, but they're, they're in, they're in hostility and
- 15:14not accepting their Messiah.
- 15:16And that's the whole disconnect that's happening right now.
- 15:19This is the times of the Gentiles that we're ruling and reigning.
- 15:23It's like, it's not just to support Israel, just to support them.
- 15:26But what I see what Nick's doing and a lot of things that he's kind of driving
- 15:30at, he's coming at it from the Catholic mindset, the Catholic mindset.
- 15:34And I want to get into this a little bit with Catholicism and Protestantism.
- 15:38And I wouldn't even call myself a Protestant, but I mean, there is this hostility
- 15:44and distrust and like distaste.
- 15:46It's almost like this more recent girlfriend that the Catholic church had of
- 15:51these people that left the church and are no longer there that happened in the
- 15:561500s, that they're no longer there.
- 15:58So they almost have like, you were riding with me this long. I can't even stand you.
- 16:02I can't stand you. Like there's more of a fresh hatred. When they quickly throw
- 16:07away and forget, they'll embrace like people that are Orthodox,
- 16:11but they forget that there was a schism that happened back in around like the 10th century.
- 16:17I think it was like 1051 AD that that happened.
- 16:20But just because it's not as fresh, it's like there's much more distaste for
- 16:25people that are Protestants.
- 16:27Again, I'm not Protestant. I, I, I, I, these are all these artificial lines
- 16:32and labels that we create and we throw upon us and we say, well,
- 16:37what are you? What do you actually believe?
- 16:38Do you think if you went to the apostles and asked them, are you Catholic?
- 16:42Are you, are you Presbyterian? Are you Orthodox? They wouldn't be saying these things.
- 16:48If we really get down to it, like if we want to be just New Testament Christians
- 16:52and like in their mindset, because like the Catholic church,
- 16:57they hammer home on that.
- 16:59They have the authority because the Petrine succession, that Peter's line of
- 17:03succession has come through the popes.
- 17:05And that's where, that's where it stands and ends.
- 17:07That's where they, they'll die on that hill where it's like,
- 17:10when you really get into it, it becomes very fuzzy and blurry.
- 17:14It's like, they've just claimed that name of Peter and said,
- 17:18Peter's our guy. He's with us.
- 17:20You know, nobody else can have him. You can't have him. He's ours. And we got it.
- 17:24Nobody else. Where, when you really take that line of succession,
- 17:27it gets really fuzzy and blurry.
- 17:30The closer you get to Peter and the actual apostles,
- 17:34and it happens like within a hundred, a couple hundred years later after the
- 17:38apostles, that they start developing this whole Roman potpourri,
- 17:42this whole Roman idea of that's where the authority lies.
- 17:47And I'm a person, I think that they were doing things right in a lot of ways,
- 17:51but it's not just pure gold.
- 17:54What they say was the gospel. It wasn't.
- 17:59It was Christians doing the best they could. And then people wanted to have
- 18:02authority and people, they wanted to consolidate that authority and they put
- 18:06it on the most powerful empire in the world, the Roman empire.
- 18:11You, I mean, it's like something happening in the backwoods,
- 18:15you know, of this far off town that like nobody knows about.
- 18:19And something amazing happens, like you say in Jerusalem or something,
- 18:23but like, but then there's this big city, big city living, New York and people,
- 18:26the people over here, they want to find out, well, what do the New Yorkers think about that?
- 18:30You know, what do they really think about that? Because they're the cool ones.
- 18:33And so they, everything kind of just flows its way to New York city where everything's
- 18:38cool and jumping and jiving as in the same thing was happening back in the day,
- 18:42all those years back in the,
- 18:43in when reality, the hub, the, the, the holy city, the king,
- 18:48the city that belongs to the king is Jerusalem.
- 18:51But it's like the Roman Catholic Church, they've kind of just usurped that.
- 18:55They've taken the reins and they've said, nope, we got it. And we got it over here in Rome.
- 19:02And I don't want to be like, I'm not like they're doing everything wrong because
- 19:05I've said over and over, I am a person that I am very drawn to Catholicism.
- 19:11I like Catholicism a lot. I like, I love their structure. I love the way they do things.
- 19:17I don't agree with everything that they stand on, but it's where they say,
- 19:21we're the church, which I mean, if you really got into it and you got into Nick
- 19:24Fuentes and any really a real Roman Catholic,
- 19:28they would say, if you're not in the church, are you going to make it to heaven? I don't know.
- 19:32I don't know about you. I don't know about you. We got the keys.
- 19:36So we'll find out. We'll let Peter sort that all out later.
- 19:41And when actuality, it's Jesus is the one. He's the decider,
- 19:46the decider in truth and faith.
- 19:48He's the one who's going to decide who comes into his kingdom.
- 19:52And really, ultimately, it's by faith. And I think it's clearly delineated in
- 19:57the Bible, in the scriptures, it's by faith, trust in Jesus.
- 20:00It's, is it faith or faithfulness? Is it faith or faithfulness?
- 20:04We kind of go back and forth.
- 20:05Well, I'll just answer that with a yes.
- 20:08Yes, it is faith and it is faithfulness. However, the faith is on our part.
- 20:13The faithfulness is on God's part. That's the difference.
- 20:17It's, and that's, that's the nuance that the apostle Paul uses in his letters
- 20:22where he keeps saying the faith of Christ.
- 20:24We're justified by faith of Christ. It's just faith of Christ.
- 20:27It's kind of this play in words. It's like we're justified by our faith.
- 20:31That's what makes us whole.
- 20:33But it's his faithfulness that saves us.
- 20:36That's the situation that we're in. And it has nothing to do with our works.
- 20:42We contribute nothing.
- 20:45The only works that would, our works would only throw us into hell even more
- 20:49if we really boiled it down and really got into it.
- 20:52Our works would only throw us into further and further outer darkness.
- 20:56If we really wanted to die on that hill.
- 20:59Our works are like filthy rags before a holy God. So, but it's,
- 21:04it's faith. It's our faith, our trust in Jesus.
- 21:07That's, that's the instrumental cause that saves us.
- 21:10And even that itself is a gift.
- 21:14Even that itself is given to us. But it's when you realize and you recognize
- 21:19that you are, you are in a dire situation.
- 21:22You are, you deserve judgment and hell. and you're out there drowning in the
- 21:29water and there's no way you can save yourself.
- 21:32Your hands are tied behind your back, your feet are tied together and you're
- 21:36being sunk to the bottom of the ocean and you have no chance of saving yourself. You're gonna die.
- 21:40But then someone throws you a life raft and you can't even lift your arms up to grab that raft.
- 21:46Rather, God reaches in, he grabs your arm, throws it over the raft,
- 21:50pulls you up. That's salvation.
- 21:52That's how it's done. It has nothing to do. It's not going to a priest and just
- 21:57really pouring your heart out before God and saying, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
- 22:03And that's what saves you. And then God's like, are you sorry enough?
- 22:06You're sorry enough? No, I don't think you're sorry enough.
- 22:11No, it's not your repentance that saves you. It's not even like your ability
- 22:16to contribute anything. It's fully him.
- 22:19And this is where we get into like, who's in the game and who's not?
- 22:24Are you in or you're out? Are you in or you're out?
- 22:27No, you're already in. You're in. I'm just thinking about the rock and that
- 22:30one guy, you know, Kevin Hart.
- 22:32No, you're already in. But that's where we're at.
- 22:36And this thing with what Nick is doing with the Roman Catholic,
- 22:41he's using that, which I think he doesn't fully understand what he's talking about.
- 22:45And he doesn't want to go there in a lot of ways with the theology and getting
- 22:49into the Bible because he wants to just be told what the Bible tells him by
- 22:53people that have studied it, which that is a good thing.
- 22:56There's people that have greater knowledge, that have spent more time pouring
- 22:59their heart and life and soul into it and know more about it.
- 23:02And they teach That's why they're called teachers.
- 23:04So that is a good thing. But it's like, if you're just going to die on that
- 23:07and you really don't, what you're promoting and pushing this,
- 23:11this whole, this, this vehement movement of hating,
- 23:15it's not hating the Jews because he doesn't hate that. And he's very,
- 23:18he's very specific about that.
- 23:20He doesn't hate them. He doesn't hate anyone, but he's, he's misguidingly leading
- 23:25people astray by not really understanding who these people are.
- 23:30Because there is a very specific situation and responsibility and a requirement
- 23:35that they have that they are covenantally obligated to the God of Israel.
- 23:40That's why it's called the God of Israel.
- 23:42He's the God of Israel. And God doesn't forget. He doesn't just,
- 23:45something comes along and I'm just going to move on to something else.
- 23:49I'm going to start a whole new
- 23:50thing. We're going to forget about all that stuff I said back in the day.
- 23:53We're going to move on to something fresh and new. He doesn't do that.
- 23:57He doesn't need to do that.
- 23:59God is eternal. It's not like he's like, I need to start this whole thing over. I think I fudged up.
- 24:04I made a mistake and I need to
- 24:06do something better. So he goes ahead and creates, oh, the new covenant.
- 24:10Rather, the new covenant builds upon the old covenant, which he made.
- 24:13So where are we going with this?
- 24:16I think it's just with Nick, I appreciate what he's doing. And he certainly got the airwaves.
- 24:22He's got clarity of thought. He's able to articulate this and drive the masses.
- 24:27He's able to galvanize people, but he's galvanizing them in a wrong way.
- 24:32But I don't know if it's going to be his pride or where he's at now.
- 24:37To back off on this. I don't know if he's going to want to back off because he might be too in deep.
- 24:42He might feel like he's too in deep. You might like this, this goes to a real
- 24:46issue. Whenever you've done something wrong, it's hard to go back.
- 24:50It's hard to go back. It's hard to even think about going back.
- 24:53And it's like, you just want to get, you have to go deeper and deeper.
- 24:55And it's hard to dig yourself out.
- 24:57And we've all been there. I've I'm, I'm there all the time.
- 25:01I feel like that. You know, it's like, I can't stop now. I just gotta,
- 25:04I gotta keep going. I can't reverse course.
- 25:08And I think he's not, it's like, if I talk to Nick, he's not going to say,
- 25:12oh, you're right. I'm going to change what I believe.
- 25:14I'm going to change what I think. Only God can change what he, and what is the truth?
- 25:20If you really get down to the Bible and you want to actually know what the word
- 25:23of God says, because otherwise it's just opinions and just views,
- 25:27different views conflicting.
- 25:28And everybody says whatever's on their mind. And we're just in this world that's
- 25:33just chaotic and nothing makes sense.
- 25:35Confusion, like everyone just confused as hell. They don't know anything.
- 25:38Rather, when you get to Jesus, it's Jesus says, as it is written,
- 25:41the written word is what matters.
- 25:44The written word has final authority. What the Bible says is final authority, period.
- 25:50Nothing, nothing more, nothing less case closed.
- 25:54And I think that is where we need to get back to this.
- 25:57We need to get back to just this whole mindset that of, if we come back to our
- 26:02roots and if you say, you want to just go to the roots of the apostles,
- 26:06the New Testament, what did they believe?
- 26:08What was their final question to Jesus as he's ready to ascend to heaven?
- 26:13They said to him, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?
- 26:17That was the final thing on their mind.
- 26:20That was the last thing, the question that they could bring themselves to ask.
- 26:24You have one question to ask Jesus. That's what you ask?
- 26:28There might be a reason for that. It's because at some time in the future,
- 26:32he is going to restore the kingdom of Israel.
- 26:34And that is when the New Testament, the new covenant is officially going to be instituted.
- 26:41I mean, it was instituted in a way when Jesus did it, you know,
- 26:43when it's the last supper, you know, but really when it's going to be just fully
- 26:47fleshed out, when it's going to be actually happening, it's going to be in that
- 26:51New Testament area when Jesus is ruling and reigning on this earth.
- 26:54Israel is going to be at the hub, the center, ruling and reigning.
- 26:58That's what people probably in that time period aren't going to be too happy.
- 27:01They're not going to be as super happy when all this Jewish stuff is happening,
- 27:05all this Israel stuff is happening. I can't stand this Israel stuff.
- 27:09I just want all this other, you know, this pagan Goy crap, you know?
- 27:16Which, I mean, it's not terrible to be a Goy. Goy just means you're of the nations.
- 27:20You're of the nations. You're not Jewish, which there is an awesome thing about
- 27:25that. We get to join ourselves to the king of the Jews.
- 27:28That's where we're at. And it's like at that time in history,
- 27:31when that's all fleshed out and we're actually living in the kingdom,
- 27:34we do see in the revelation that there's going to be this, this disgruntled
- 27:38people. They're going to be like that.
- 27:40Satan's going to be released from the pit and he's going to circle them all
- 27:44up again. And then they're going to be that final destroy.
- 27:47They're going to come up to the gates of Jerusalem and they're going to be finally
- 27:50incinerated and destroyed.
- 27:53This is the legit. I mean, we can talk about the news all day long.
- 27:56We want, we can talk about sports and all this stuff. that just fluff out there
- 27:58just makes, that just takes our time and attention.
- 28:01But when we get down to it, we're going to have to lay our head on our pillow.
- 28:04We're going to have to lay our final rest and we're going to eventually all stand before God.
- 28:08We can distract ourselves all we want, but eventually we're going to stand before the creator.
- 28:13And he has a specific covenant with the nation of Israel. That's the new covenant.
- 28:17As I read earlier, he makes it with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.
- 28:23He didn't make it with the house of America or the house of Russia or the house of China.
- 28:29China. He didn't make it with all of these other nations. He made it with that specific nation.
- 28:35So we can't just usurp it and take it upon ourselves.
- 28:39We're making the structure wrong. We're moving things and putting things on
- 28:44top when they're not supposed to be there.
- 28:46We got to know our place, but it's not like to say, as America,
- 28:49we can run our nation. This is our nation.
- 28:52America first. Yes, America first. We don't want any foreign government entangling
- 28:56us and trying to distract us and leading us ways that we don't want to go.
- 29:01100%. We should be doing what's our interest. But really recognizing in the
- 29:06future, we are going to come under the banner of Israel. in that future, when Jesus returns.
- 29:11So recognizing that. And I would like to say all this to Nick.
- 29:15I know he might not receive it well because he is entrenched in this Catholic faith.
- 29:23Replacement, supersessionism ideology that the church has replaced Israel.
- 29:27The Jews are done away with. And that's just not biblical.
- 29:31All right. Well, we'll leave it at that. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
- 29:34I hope this brings some clarity.
- 29:36These are just the things that are on my mind. And it's very specific.
- 29:40It's not just about Israel being influenced on our government.
- 29:43He has a lot to say about that. And I stand with him and I agree with him.
- 29:47A lot of things. Israel doesn't need to be influencing our way of life at this point.
- 29:51You know, we can do what's in our interest, but there is, if we get down to
- 29:54the root of it, to the heart of the issue,
- 29:57I think he is misguided because he's on an untrue foundation,
- 30:01what he's building his whole ideology on, his whole standpoint and worldview on.
- 30:07All right, we'll leave it at that. I hope you have a great rest of your day,
- 30:10rest of your weekend. Leave a comment. Let me know what you think about the show and have a good day.
