- 0:00Speaker 1: On News Radio 570, WKBN. Welcome, 405.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's Monday afternoon, August 17th, 79 degrees. From the Kingdom
- 0:10Speaker 2: of Mahoning, we are until 6 o'clock tonight. Rockport Wealth
- 0:13Speaker 2: Truth and Investing Program on News Radio 570, WKBN. So
- 0:17Speaker 2: keep that in mind. You bring up an excellent point.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Jake's on the end of the line. He's talking about
- 0:24Speaker 2: the tariffs and that kind of stuff.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Right.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Tariffs are to say, hey, American companies can't compete with
- 0:30Speaker 2: these slave wage nations that don't have Social Security, that
- 0:33Speaker 2: don't have OSHA, that don't have overtime and 40-hour work weeks.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 0:39Speaker 2: They don't have any of that stuff. So they have
- 0:41Speaker 2: childhood labor, dirt floors, and all this kind of stuff.
- 0:44Speaker 2: And we're supposed to be able to compete against them?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Well, we can't.
- 0:48Speaker 4: So..
- 0:49Speaker 2: Unless you have tariffs, you'll concede all of your, not
- 0:52Speaker 2: just manufacturing jobs, but we're starting to see that happen
- 0:55Speaker 2: with what they call the intellectual jobs with India. A
- 0:59Speaker 2: lot of that work is now done in India that
- 1:03Speaker 2: used to be done here.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Paralegals, radiologists, right?
- 1:09Speaker 2: All kinds of stuff.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Not necessarily the doctor, but at least the radiology technician. Yeah,
- 1:14Speaker 3: because you can do it over the internet.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Right, so..
- 1:19Speaker 2: You sit back and say, how do you compete with
- 1:23Speaker 2: the guy making $ 5, 000 a year in India with a
- 1:27Speaker 2: great education that can do your job for pennies on
- 1:30Speaker 2: the dollar? what are we supposed to do with everybody?
- 1:34Speaker 2: I mean, where do we start saying, well, wait a minute,
- 1:37Speaker 2: it should be America first. We should be worrying about
- 1:40Speaker 2: America first. We shouldn't let all these other countries basically
- 1:43Speaker 2: rape this place and put all of our people out
- 1:46Speaker 2: of work. Because if we continue on this course, we're
- 1:48Speaker 2: going to need that basic, what do they call it?
- 1:51Speaker 2: The basic income where they just give everybody a check.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Because I always say the best social program is a
- 1:57Speaker 2: good job.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Well, guess what? We're making it harder for people to
- 2:00Speaker 1: get a good job.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Now, the socialists, and I believe most of them are
- 2:13Speaker 3: Marxists the way they talk, and the blending of them
- 2:18Speaker 3: with the Islamists is terrible. The guy earlier brought up
- 2:25Speaker 3: the jackball who won the primary in Michigan. So you're
- 2:30Speaker 3: okay with that? You know, and Ron said this, and
- 2:34Speaker 3: I was yelling on the radio the other day. He said,
- 2:37Speaker 3: I hope the Republicans win in the midterms, right? And
- 2:42Speaker 3: I'll say something that I've said to children that might
- 2:46Speaker 3: have the same last name as me. Hope in one
- 2:49Speaker 3: hand and poop in the other, and tell me which
- 2:51Speaker 3: one fills up first. Because you've got to take action.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Ron's been around the Bible. Faith without works is dead.
- 3:01Speaker 3: You got to do something about it. I'm not asking
- 3:05Speaker 3: Ron to be a cheerleader. I'm saying everybody got to
- 3:09Speaker 3: do their part and get this done because This could
- 3:15Speaker 3: be a big turning point. These people, listen to them.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Listen to what they're saying. You know, it was defund
- 3:23Speaker 3: the police, and we kind of brushed that off and
- 3:25Speaker 3: let it go. We're back, and it's defund the police,
- 3:28Speaker 3: defund the military, defund all law enforcement, the prisons. What
- 3:34Speaker 3: are you insane people going to do? Oh, we're going
- 3:37Speaker 3: to have Sharia law everywhere, and then it'll be okay,
- 3:40Speaker 3: I guess.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Because look, Islam is taking over the country. Right. And
- 3:46Speaker 3: people are okay with it. There's Hassan Haiker and all
- 3:49Speaker 3: the things that they've said, all the dirty, rotten, nasty
- 3:52Speaker 3: things that they've said. And they want to do it.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I think we have to stop them.
- 4:01Speaker 2: These idiots that are going for it. I mean, what
- 4:04Speaker 2: do you want me to do about it? I mean,
- 4:05Speaker 2: I can't believe it.
- 4:08Speaker 3: It's insane, and we've got to keep pointing out, we
- 4:12Speaker 3: already did this before. We already played this game. It
- 4:17Speaker 3: doesn't work. It only works for the people at the top.
- 4:20Speaker 3: You start getting it with a vote that you gave,
- 4:25Speaker 3: and in the end, they give you a bullet.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I was watching on one of the channels, they were
- 4:31Speaker 2: playing a clip with one of those Democrat socialists that
- 4:35Speaker 2: was exactly as you describe, against the cops, against prisons.
- 4:43Speaker 2: So they want to get rid of the prisons, get
- 4:46Speaker 2: rid of the cops. So they asked the Democrat socialist,
- 4:51Speaker 2: this is in the United States of America, well, what
- 4:54Speaker 2: happens if Somebody gets raped. You're a woman, and if
- 5:00Speaker 2: you're raped, what do you do? Who do you call
- 5:02Speaker 2: if you want to get rid of the police? And
- 5:05Speaker 2: how do you punish the person who did it? And
- 5:08Speaker 2: I was watching this clip that they were running on
- 5:10Speaker 2: one of the news channels.
- 5:12Speaker 1: And she was.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Sitting there with this bewildered look like, I don't know
- 5:17Speaker 2: what to say. And then her answer was, I don't
- 5:21Speaker 2: like to deal with hypotheticals. And the reporter said, this
- 5:25Speaker 2: isn't a hypothetical. This happens every day in this community,
- 5:29Speaker 2: in whatever this big city is. So, I mean, they
- 5:32Speaker 2: were basically trying to say, you know, you guys got
- 5:35Speaker 2: to wake up, man.
- 5:38Speaker 3: It's insane.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I don't disagree with a word that you're saying. If
- 5:42Speaker 2: you think for a minute, even with some of the
- 5:46Speaker 2: things I disagree with Trump on, that I would vote
- 5:49Speaker 2: for Sherrod Brown, that I would vote for any of
- 5:52Speaker 2: these Democrats, That want to go back to this nonsense?
- 5:57Speaker 2: I deciphered that's what you were saying. You think I
- 6:00Speaker 2: would want to vote for any of these people that say, well,
- 6:03Speaker 2: the answer is let's get rid of the cops.
- 6:05Speaker 1: The answer is let's get rid of prisons.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I mean, I listen to them talk and they sound
- 6:10Speaker 2: like a bunch of damn lunatics to me. And you'd
- 6:13Speaker 2: have a society of nothing but chaos. You wouldn't be
- 6:16Speaker 2: able to walk on the street. It wouldn't be safe.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I'm going to vote for the people that had open
- 6:21Speaker 2: borders that let millions of people come into this country
- 6:23Speaker 2: illegally that we know nothing about.
- 6:26Speaker 1: You think I'm going to vote for that? You think
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm going to vote for.
- 6:29Speaker 2: A socialist agenda that says men can have babies, can't
- 6:33Speaker 2: define a woman? You think I'm going to vote for that?
- 6:35Speaker 2: I mean, the craziness. But the problem is, it seems
- 6:39Speaker 2: to me. you see some areas where people seem to
- 6:42Speaker 2: be doing that, including in Ohio.
- 6:44Speaker 1: They say Sherrod Brown is way ahead of Houston.
- 6:48Speaker 2: And okay, let's say that that's the case in what
- 6:50Speaker 2: we consider to be a red state.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Sherrod Brown backed everything Biden was doing.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Yes. Yeah, again, I think it comes down to education, right? Oh,
- 7:07Speaker 3: you brought up the perfect example from that news clip
- 7:09Speaker 3: that we've all seen. Hey, what are you going to
- 7:11Speaker 3: do if this happens? Well, I don't know. I don't
- 7:15Speaker 3: think that'll happen. They ran the Nazi tattoo guy running
- 7:22Speaker 3: one off in the porta potty. What are you talking about?
- 7:27Speaker 1: How many people even?
- 7:28Speaker 3: I don't know how this even works.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Look at how long they called Trump a Nazi.
- 7:34Speaker 2: But here was a guy with the Nazi tattoo and
- 7:36Speaker 2: everything that for the Democrats they were defending and supporting
- 7:41Speaker 2: until they turned on him at.
- 7:42Speaker 1: The very end.
- 7:43Speaker 2: But they were supporting that kind of guy. But I'm
- 7:47Speaker 2: telling you, look at these crazy candidates that they want
- 7:49Speaker 2: to run. Do you think for a minute that's AOC
- 7:54Speaker 2: has the intellectual capabilities to be president of the United States.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Anything at all.
- 8:02Speaker 3: According to my religion, I'm not supposed to humiliate people.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I do sometimes. I'm not supposed to.
- 8:08Speaker 4: But it's just really, really easy.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I mean, do you look at her, though?
- 8:13Speaker 2: Yeah, do you look at her as like, this woman's really,
- 8:16Speaker 2: really smart on everything, and she would make a great president. Now,
- 8:19Speaker 2: I can look at Ron DeSantis, and I can say,
- 8:22Speaker 2: this guy would make a great president. He's got a
- 8:25Speaker 2: great track record. He's a very smart guy. He'd make
- 8:28Speaker 2: an excellent president. But I sure don't look at AOC
- 8:32Speaker 2: that way. Then I can look at Gavin Newsom and say, OK,
- 8:35Speaker 2: this guy's been a disaster in California as governor.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Look at gas prices. Look at inflation.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Look at all the problems out there, all the failed
- 8:43Speaker 2: stuff and corruption going on out there.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So who are the Democrats talking?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Gavin Newsom, a true failure in California as a governor.
- 8:52Speaker 2: And AOC, who's just might be one of the just
- 8:56Speaker 2: dumbest people out there. as potential presidential candidates? That's what
- 9:02Speaker 2: you're saying?
- 9:04Speaker 3: And that's why we have to keep doing that thing
- 9:07Speaker 3: of pointing the truth out to them. Okay, okay, I
- 9:09Speaker 3: get it. You say you're a socialist. Super, super, super.
- 9:12Speaker 3: What's that mean? What are we going to do? Is
- 9:14Speaker 3: that what you're saying? You're going to do all this stuff.
- 9:16Speaker 3: You're going to get rid of everything that keeps our
- 9:19Speaker 3: country moving and try to do this. It doesn't work.
- 9:23Speaker 3: And just, you know, not yelling, not name-calling. This doesn't work.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Show me where it's ever worked. See, the capitalism has worked.
- 9:33Speaker 3: It's worked here, and it's worked in other places. The
- 9:37Speaker 3: socialism never works. It never ends well. The same guy
- 9:42Speaker 3: invented communism, right? And that doesn't work. Only for everybody's
- 9:49Speaker 3: friends in China. Really? Thanks for the China virus, guys.
- 9:54Speaker 3: This is what happens. This is what they do. And
- 9:58Speaker 3: they don't care. They're at the top. Nothing affects them.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Talk about destroying the earth. They have acres upon acres
- 10:07Speaker 3: every year that turns to desert. Because, like the old
- 10:11Speaker 3: communists said in Russia... We are at war with nature. Okay, okay.
- 10:17Speaker 3: I'm kind of at war with nature, but that means
- 10:19Speaker 3: I mow the lawn. You're destroying everything and making it concrete.
- 10:25Speaker 3: That's not good for the earth. But they keep going
- 10:29Speaker 3: and keep doing the same thing, and it kind of
- 10:33Speaker 3: is failed for the people. But, again, the people at
- 10:36Speaker 3: the top are the only ones that win. And, you know,
- 10:39Speaker 3: we have to point the things out. In my lifetime
- 10:43Speaker 3: and Ron's lifetime, the communists shot the Pope. I don't know.
- 10:50Speaker 3: What more do you want? And they keep doing it.
- 10:53Speaker 3: What did they do in Venezuela? It was a thriving
- 10:58Speaker 3: metropolis that was nice and wonderful. Then they took over.
- 11:03Speaker 3: It's done. They're telling you, hey, breed rabbits because they
- 11:07Speaker 3: breed real fast and you'll be able to eat again.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It's a perfect example.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Look at Venezuela, how it was, and then when it
- 11:15Speaker 2: went socialist, how it ended up being for people.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Excellent example.
- 11:19Speaker 2: All right, Jake.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Thanks, man.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Appreciate it. News Radio 570. I mean, it is troubling.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Sometimes you've got to set aside Republican and Democrat and
- 11:28Speaker 2: just think as an American with some degree of common sense.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Just some common sense and think as an American. And
- 11:41Speaker 2: And can we get beyond Democrat and Republican? Can we
- 11:44Speaker 2: sit down and say, OK, we probably as a country
- 11:47Speaker 2: with the standards that we have can't compete with all
- 11:49Speaker 2: of these other countries that don't have those standards that
- 11:52Speaker 2: want to ship these products into here. And potentially they
- 11:55Speaker 2: will put all of our manufacturers out of business so
- 11:57Speaker 2: we won't have jobs for people. As I've said to
- 12:00Speaker 2: you a million times, the best social program is a
- 12:02Speaker 2: good job. So if we don't have jobs for people
- 12:05Speaker 2: to go to because we can't compete with these foreign
- 12:08Speaker 2: companies because they don't have the standards and regulations that
- 12:11Speaker 2: we have in this country.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Is that a good idea?
- 12:14Speaker 2: For example, and I point this out and we shall
- 12:17Speaker 2: see how this goes. Trump says we were all bitching
- 12:20Speaker 2: during COVID how we don't make antibiotics and aspirin in
- 12:24Speaker 2: this country anymore. How do we ever let that get
- 12:26Speaker 2: away and go over to China? And now China's threatening
- 12:30Speaker 2: to cut it off during COVID to us. So now
- 12:34Speaker 2: Trump wants that to end, and he wants that manufacturing
- 12:38Speaker 2: of our antibiotics and aspirin to come back to the
- 12:40Speaker 2: United States of America. However, that might mean you might
- 12:45Speaker 2: have to pay more for your generic medication. So as
- 12:52Speaker 2: a consumer, you might have to pay more for a
- 12:54Speaker 2: generic prescription for it to be made here, manufactured in America,
- 13:01Speaker 2: because it will cost more.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Than in China.
- 13:06Speaker 2: But you won't ever have to worry about China threatening
- 13:08Speaker 2: to cut you off ever again. There isn't anything I
- 13:13Speaker 2: trust about China. You know as well as I do,
- 13:16Speaker 2: China says they've infiltrated our electric grid, they've infiltrated our
- 13:20Speaker 2: water supply, they've got all of this stuff already sitting
- 13:23Speaker 2: there planted. It's not me saying it was a former
- 13:29Speaker 2: FBI director said it's not a case of if, it's
- 13:32Speaker 2: a case of when. So we know they're up to
- 13:36Speaker 2: no good, China, as far as what they can do
- 13:40Speaker 2: and how they can affect whether it's your electric grid
- 13:44Speaker 2: or your water grid. So remember during COVID, as I said,
- 13:55Speaker 2: they threatened to cut off all your antibiotics. So where
- 14:00Speaker 2: do you fall on this? All of a sudden, Trump
- 14:02Speaker 2: says we've got to bring it back to the United States.
- 14:04Speaker 2: We should never be in that position again. They bring
- 14:06Speaker 2: it back to the United States, and you might have
- 14:09Speaker 2: to pay more for your generic medication. Now are you
- 14:12Speaker 2: going to bellyache and bitch? Well, I used to pay $ 2,
- 14:14Speaker 2: and now I'm paying $ 6. I'm sure you'll hear that.
- 14:23Speaker 2: because it will cost more to make it here. But
- 14:25Speaker 2: then again, it's not being made in China. It creates
- 14:28Speaker 2: jobs here, and you don't have to kowtow to them.
- 14:34Speaker 2: So it seems like a good thing to me, and
- 14:36Speaker 2: I'd rather pay more to be in that position. But
- 14:40Speaker 2: I can assure you there will be many senior citizens
- 14:43Speaker 2: that will bellyache about that. Well, the same thing that
- 14:46Speaker 2: we talk about when it comes to medication, you can
- 14:48Speaker 2: say about any product that's made. Should we concede everything?
- 14:54Speaker 2: We can go on.
- 14:56Speaker 1: You see it now.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Washers, dryers, refrigerators, all made in foreign countries where they
- 15:02Speaker 2: don't have the regulations or anything along those lines that
- 15:04Speaker 2: we have here. They can make them a lot less expensive.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Bring them over here and put every American manufacturer out
- 15:11Speaker 2: of business. We can do that. They can do that
- 15:17Speaker 2: in cars. They can do that in appliances. And it
- 15:20Speaker 2: gets so we're not making anything. We're importing everything. But
- 15:23Speaker 2: what do our people do? Where do we have the
- 15:25Speaker 2: jobs for everybody? So you can have a marketplace where
- 15:28Speaker 2: you can buy stuff that's A lot cheaper because it's
- 15:32Speaker 2: coming in from these slave wage nations, but you're not
- 15:34Speaker 2: going to have a job to be able to buy it.
- 15:36Speaker 2: That's the whole goal behind these tariffs, to level the
- 15:38Speaker 2: playing field. Why is it so bad? And the Democrats
- 15:41Speaker 2: are opposed to Trump, who just wants to have a
- 15:44Speaker 2: mere effect. You're charging this much for American products coming
- 15:47Speaker 2: into your marketplace. We're going to do the same thing
- 15:49Speaker 2: for your products coming here. Well, that's just a level
- 15:52Speaker 2: playing field. We're not restricting your products from coming here.
- 15:55Speaker 2: We're just leveling the playing field. you can still choose
- 16:00Speaker 2: to buy that particular product if you wish, if you
- 16:03Speaker 2: think it's better. But we're not going to let those
- 16:07Speaker 2: countries put us out of business. That just makes sense
- 16:09Speaker 2: to me as an American. They say, okay, as an American,
- 16:14Speaker 2: that makes sense to me. As an American, I want
- 16:23Speaker 2: to drill on federal lands, the oil companies. I want
- 16:28Speaker 2: to drill offshore. I want to get energy as cheap
- 16:31Speaker 2: as is possible. That should be our goal because we
- 16:34Speaker 2: all need it. And we need electric rates. As I've
- 16:38Speaker 2: said a million times, they've doubled now. The cost of electricity,
- 16:42Speaker 2: and it will go up even more.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Gasoline, oil.
- 16:45Speaker 2: We've got to get energy costs down. So it remains affordable.
- 16:50Speaker 2: It's a key to our... And Trump is going in
- 16:53Speaker 2: that direction with the exception.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Of the war.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Well, hi again. This is Dan Rivers, and I was
- 16:57Speaker 1: just thinking you have a question. 570 WKBN. And Ron,
- 17:03Speaker 1: Verb 425 here on a Monday afternoon.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Rockport Wealth Truth and Investing Program tonight from 6 to
- 17:08Speaker 2: 7 on NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Welcome to Monday. 81 degrees
- 17:13Speaker 2: from the Kingdom of Mahoning.
- 17:14Speaker 1: You're on the air.
- 17:15Speaker 5: They'll definitely want their medications cheaper. I can tell you that.
- 17:19Speaker 5: And maybe it will take a crisis of China telling us, hey,
- 17:23Speaker 5: we will cut off your medications to actually fix something,
- 17:26Speaker 5: but we probably won't. If we have Chinese cars in
- 17:28Speaker 5: this country right now, there would be no American-manufactured vehicles.
- 17:33Speaker 5: They would totally wipe out the whole entire industry.
- 17:37Speaker 1: If we had Chinese vehicles come here?
- 17:40Speaker 5: Yeah, these different companies like BYD, if you could buy
- 17:44Speaker 5: a car for $ 8, 000 here, are you going to instead say, no,
- 17:49Speaker 5: I want to buy American and get one for $ 45, 000?
- 17:52Speaker 5: I don't think so, even if they are less quality.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Who was telling me? Was it Richard Pharmacist or something?
- 18:03Speaker 2: He was talking about some of these Chinese cars. He
- 18:05Speaker 2: said if they ever brought them over here, the quality
- 18:07Speaker 2: is pretty good, that the price point would be devastating
- 18:11Speaker 2: to the auto industry.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Is that what you're talking about?
- 18:15Speaker 5: Yeah, it would be horrible, even if the quality is
- 18:17Speaker 5: not quite as good. Even if you bought a $ 10, 000
- 18:20Speaker 5: Chinese vehicle and it lasted four years, you'd still be
- 18:24Speaker 5: the difference, what, a 16-year vehicle for $ 40, 000? You still
- 18:27Speaker 5: might be ahead if you put the maintenance into it. But, yeah,
- 18:30Speaker 5: they're going to eventually eat our lunch because they don't
- 18:32Speaker 5: have the same standard of living that we do here.
- 18:35Speaker 5: And I think, unfortunately, we're in for a rude awakening
- 18:38Speaker 5: in our country where our standard of living is going
- 18:40Speaker 5: to precipitously drop if we don't fix things and fix
- 18:43Speaker 5: them fast. I think we're a week away. If we
- 18:46Speaker 5: don't hit $ 40 trillion in debt this week, we're going
- 18:48Speaker 5: to hit it next week. And this is where I've
- 18:52Speaker 5: mentioned it before many times with interest rates, everything. Everything
- 18:56Speaker 5: comes back to money. Our whole money system is broken.
- 18:59Speaker 5: It was just 55 years, actually, August 15th, just a
- 19:02Speaker 5: couple days ago, where we came off the gold standard.
- 19:05Speaker 5: And money is not the same. All problems come back
- 19:08Speaker 5: to the money is broken. And this is where I've
- 19:11Speaker 5: talked about before this whole thing. You can look at
- 19:14Speaker 5: the tweet today from the Treasury Secretary today, Besant. What
- 19:19Speaker 5: he put out, nobody's talking about it, but we need
- 19:22Speaker 5: to completely digitize our whole entire stock market, the whole
- 19:27Speaker 5: entire government. We need to put everything on a blockchain.
- 19:30Speaker 5: And this is where I've talked about before. Stablecoins are
- 19:33Speaker 5: going to be the new patchwork for our whole entire
- 19:37Speaker 5: country so we can offshore our debt onto other countries.
- 19:41Speaker 4: And allow our.
- 19:42Speaker 5: National debt to go to $ 50 trillion, $ 60 trillion, $ 70 trillion,
- 19:46Speaker 5: and try to just kick the can further down the road.
- 19:52Speaker 1: And isn't that what we're doing?
- 19:54Speaker 5: That's what we're doing. But eventually, like you said, a
- 19:56Speaker 5: poo-poo is going to hit the fan, and when does
- 19:58Speaker 5: it hit it? It's hitting it. It's just at what
- 20:01Speaker 5: degree do our standard of living just fall off a cliff?
- 20:06Speaker 1: Well, that's great. Don't you think it's already doing that?
- 20:08Speaker 2: I mean, if our second biggest expense is the interest
- 20:12Speaker 2: that's currently on our debt, not to lower the payment,
- 20:15Speaker 2: just pay the interest, and as interest rates can potentially
- 20:19Speaker 2: perk up. What I was hearing was that on Bill
- 20:22Speaker 2: Cunningham's show last night, he was talking to a guy
- 20:24Speaker 2: who said the reason we bailed out Japan was because
- 20:27Speaker 2: if they cashed in their... their bonds that they have
- 20:31Speaker 2: with the United States, it would be an economic devastation.
- 20:35Speaker 1: We had no choice but to bail them out. Are
- 20:37Speaker 1: you familiar with that?
- 20:39Speaker 5: That's what I was talking about on Friday. And that's
- 20:41Speaker 5: exactly what happened. We sold euros. We didn't even trade it.
- 20:47Speaker 5: We didn't even give them dollars because we didn't want
- 20:49Speaker 5: it to look bad. So we traded euros, which is just,
- 20:52Speaker 5: you know, three steps around the problem. But their interest
- 20:56Speaker 5: rates still went up. So we didn't even fix the problem.
- 21:00Speaker 5: The issue is if they sell all of our bonds
- 21:03Speaker 5: and they dump them onto the market, that's going to
- 21:05Speaker 5: lower the price of them, which is going to make
- 21:07Speaker 5: the rate go up, which is going to make our
- 21:09Speaker 5: interest rates go up. And that's when the poo-poo really
- 21:15Speaker 5: starts hitting the fan. I just don't know at what
- 21:17Speaker 5: point does our standard of living get better. Worse, quicker.
- 21:21Speaker 5: We're like a frog slowly boiling in a pot where
- 21:24Speaker 5: it's like five years we notice things, we talk about them,
- 21:27Speaker 5: but we just go living our lives. Ten years we
- 21:30Speaker 5: remember what it used to be like. Thirty years you
- 21:33Speaker 5: really talk about the good old days. But eventually it
- 21:36Speaker 5: might get to the point where things happen really quickly
- 21:38Speaker 5: and really fast. And if our national debt goes from
- 21:43Speaker 5: $ 40 trillion to $ 50 trillion real fast, These are numbers
- 21:47Speaker 5: that you can't even fathom in your head.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I can't fathom.
- 21:51Speaker 5: A million, a billion, and a trillion.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Stand by for a minute. The wisdom of Alec on
- 21:56Speaker 2: the end of the line. I'll pick up my conversation
- 21:58Speaker 2: with him. I want to go over this deal in
- 22:01Speaker 2: Japan just to bring you up to speed on that.
- 22:03Speaker 2: There's plenty to discuss, so you stay tuned. News Radio

- 22:11Speaker 6: A Toledo man who was already accused of raping and
- 22:13Speaker 6: murdering his 13-year-old daughter, Kimani Lateeg, is now facing new
- 22:17Speaker 6: charges involving three separate victims. Darnell Jones entering a not
- 22:21Speaker 6: guilty plea in each new case today, with the combined
- 22:24Speaker 6: bonds exceeding more than a million dollars. The new charges
- 22:27Speaker 6: include multiple counts of rape and kidnapping, as well as
- 22:29Speaker 6: a single count each of strangulation and gross sexual imposition.
- 22:33Speaker 6: A central Ohio man will spend the next 78 to
- 22:35Speaker 6: 89 years in prison after admitting that he shot two
- 22:38Speaker 6: Mifflin Township police officers and fired a sheriff's deputies back
- 22:41Speaker 6: in 2025 and was also sentenced in a prior burglary
- 22:44Speaker 6: conviction in 2023. 23-year-old Devontae Dixon shot and injured the
- 22:48Speaker 6: officers as he fled a traffic stop setting off a
- 22:50Speaker 6: two-day manhunt. He was later found at a home in
- 22:53Speaker 6: Franklin County where he fired multiple rounds at four deputies outside,
- 22:57Speaker 6: later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. I'm Sean Gallagher.

- 23:13Speaker 1: On NewsRadio 570 WKBN. All right, back to it. NewsRadio
- 23:18Speaker 1: 570 WKBN. All right, Alec, are you there?
- 23:21Speaker 4: Yep.
- 23:22Speaker 2: All right, so it says here, it's important for people
- 23:25Speaker 2: to hear this. It was, I thought, a good discussion
- 23:27Speaker 2: Bill Cunningham had on last night. The United States and
- 23:31Speaker 2: Japan conducted a joint currency intervention to buy the plummeting
- 23:35Speaker 2: Japanese yen, which hit a 40-year low. Well, framed as
- 23:39Speaker 2: support for a key ally, the action primarily aimed to
- 23:42Speaker 2: prevent Japan from selling massive amounts of U.S. Treasury bonds
- 23:47Speaker 2: to defend its currency, which would have spiked American borrowing costs.
- 23:54Speaker 2: So if Japan had acted alone to prop up the yen,
- 23:58Speaker 2: it would likely have needed to liquidate parts of its
- 24:02Speaker 2: massive $ 1.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Trillion holdings of U.S. Treasuries.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Dumping those bonds would... Depressed bond prices and drive U.S.
- 24:11Speaker 2: interest rates and mortgage rates higher. A rapidly weakening yen
- 24:17Speaker 2: threatened broader economic stability across Asian markets. I mean, this
- 24:21Speaker 2: is a big deal. You were talking about this Friday,
- 24:24Speaker 2: but it's a big deal. Most people are unaware of it.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Agree?
- 24:28Speaker 5: Yeah, and that's why would you? You know, who normally
- 24:32Speaker 5: would be following Japanese interest rate and they're falling yet?
- 24:37Speaker 6: I mean..
- 24:38Speaker 5: These are things that could collapse the whole entire economy
- 24:41Speaker 5: if it goes in the wrong direction, if we don't
- 24:43Speaker 5: do things to prop it up. And it's sad because
- 24:46Speaker 5: we've screwed things up so bad. Japan screwed things up
- 24:49Speaker 5: so bad. Now we need to help them out with
- 24:52Speaker 5: our taxpayer-funded dollars or our printed dollars that future generations
- 24:57Speaker 5: will have to pay for to help out other countries
- 24:59Speaker 5: because if they collapse, they'll screw us even more. But
- 25:03Speaker 5: you just hit the nail on the head. If they
- 25:04Speaker 5: sell those bonds, and the price of our bonds goes
- 25:08Speaker 5: down because they dump them on the market and the
- 25:10Speaker 5: rates go up, we're in a big world of hurt.
- 25:13Speaker 5: So this is where the federal government, you can look
- 25:16Speaker 5: at Secretary Scott Besson's post today, this is where stablecoins
- 25:22Speaker 5: are going to hit the ground running because they are
- 25:24Speaker 5: a buyer of debt. They buy treasuries to back their stablecoin.
- 25:29Speaker 5: If Japan, the world's largest holder of U.S. treasuries outside
- 25:33Speaker 5: the United States, is going to be dumping them. They
- 25:36Speaker 5: need to find new buyers so that we can print
- 25:38Speaker 5: more money. And the only way to do that and
- 25:41Speaker 5: find new buyers is to get them in countries that
- 25:43Speaker 5: don't own them already. This is where a stable coin
- 25:47Speaker 5: is backed one-to-one by treasuries.
- 25:50Speaker 2: But I mean, if you look at it, I mean,
- 25:52Speaker 2: the idea of how many of you knew this? I mean,
- 25:54Speaker 2: something you can learn today. Japan has one trillion plus
- 26:03Speaker 2: of U.S.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Treasuries.
- 26:04Speaker 2: So that's how many treasuries Japan has. And our country
- 26:09Speaker 2: was afraid that they would sell a lot of them
- 26:13Speaker 2: to stabilize their yen. And if they did that, the
- 26:18Speaker 2: interest rates would go up. So we had to bail
- 26:21Speaker 2: out Japan. So that didn't happen. What a predicament for
- 26:26Speaker 2: a country to be in because we're so far in debt.
- 26:31Speaker 5: And this is not a Japan-focused thing either. I mean,
- 26:35Speaker 5: this is happening all over the world. All these developed nations,
- 26:39Speaker 5: their interest rates on their 10-year, 30-year treasury, they're all
- 26:42Speaker 5: going through the roof. It's happening everywhere. The poo-poo may
- 26:46Speaker 5: be hitting the fan globally. And the thing is, look
- 26:49Speaker 5: what we have to do. We're not even trying to
- 26:51Speaker 5: save ourselves with this. We've got to bail out other
- 26:55Speaker 5: countries to do it now just so that they don't
- 26:58Speaker 5: harm us. It's like your neighbor's got a problem. So
- 27:01Speaker 5: instead of them fixing it, you have to build a
- 27:03Speaker 5: bigger fence just to try to keep them out. So
- 27:05Speaker 5: you're spending the money instead of them. It's asinine, and
- 27:11Speaker 5: the whole thing is just crazy. But this is what
- 27:14Speaker 5: happens when you print money all over the world for
- 27:17Speaker 5: 30 years, 40 years, 50 years. And then when the
- 27:21Speaker 5: bills start to come in due, you've got to find
- 27:24Speaker 5: new ways to try to cover it over or dust
- 27:27Speaker 5: it over. The problem is all these nations that can
- 27:29Speaker 5: print their own money eventually just depreciates their dollar. So
- 27:33Speaker 5: when you're talking about the yen dropping in value, they
- 27:36Speaker 5: produce no oil there. They have to buy all their oil.
- 27:38Speaker 5: And with rising oil prices, you know, it's costing them
- 27:42Speaker 5: a lot more to do that there. It's costing everybody
- 27:46Speaker 5: all over the world.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I mean, it is economically things are a mess. Give
- 27:51Speaker 1: me your.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Dissertation as we speak here today on Monday, August 17th.
- 27:58Speaker 2: I mean, when you look at the situation with Trump
- 28:00Speaker 2: and the war in Iran, you think it's a mistake?
- 28:06Speaker 5: I don't know. It depends on what time frame. Depending
- 28:10Speaker 5: on your time frame, I don't know. I've always said,
- 28:13Speaker 5: you know, five years from now, we could be looking
- 28:15Speaker 5: back and saying, oh, my gosh, I wish Donald Trump
- 28:17Speaker 5: would have done what he said he was going to do.
- 28:19Speaker 5: I have no idea and will never be able to know.
- 28:23Speaker 5: I'm big on if it's going to happen, you know,
- 28:25Speaker 5: nobody fights wars to end them anymore. It's always, you know,
- 28:29Speaker 5: 20 years, 50 years, trillions of dollars. I don't know
- 28:33Speaker 5: if we're going to start a war. I don't know
- 28:34Speaker 5: why you just don't finish it. I've wondered the same
- 28:37Speaker 5: thing with Russia-Ukraine. Russia could take out Ukraine from a
- 28:42Speaker 5: military standpoint if they wanted to in the first month,
- 28:45Speaker 5: but they didn't. You know, others will debate that. Look
- 28:49Speaker 5: at all the drone usage now back and forth. It's
- 28:52Speaker 5: all just, you know, millions of lives being lost all
- 28:55Speaker 5: over Ukraine. Look what we're doing in Iran, back and
- 28:57Speaker 5: forth and back and forth.
- 28:59Speaker 3: I mean, we've all.
- 29:00Speaker 5: Known the 47th opening of the Strait of Hormuz. I
- 29:03Speaker 5: think a lot of these are just to put out
- 29:05Speaker 5: statements to alter the markets. What I'm worried about, though,
- 29:09Speaker 5: is that, you know, the stock market, we're all paying
- 29:12Speaker 5: attention to the stock market because we all go to
- 29:14Speaker 5: work all day, do our jobs and our career. And
- 29:16Speaker 5: then we also have to be part-time market analysts, too,
- 29:19Speaker 5: at the same time. Because you can't make enough money
- 29:22Speaker 5: working your life just to save it and live the
- 29:24Speaker 5: rest of your life. You've got to hope that your
- 29:26Speaker 5: stock market portfolio outbeats the rate of inflation. That's why
- 29:32Speaker 5: we pay attention to the stock market. I wish I
- 29:33Speaker 5: didn't have to. I wish I could just go to work,
- 29:35Speaker 5: make money, save it like a squirrel does nuts for
- 29:38Speaker 5: the winter, and just live off it the rest of
- 29:39Speaker 5: my life. But you can't do that because that's what
- 29:42Speaker 5: we live in because the money is so broken and
- 29:44Speaker 5: it's such a 30,000-foot view on everything that nobody even
- 29:48Speaker 5: realizes why we're even doing what we're doing.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Because inflation has gotten so high and devalued your savings,
- 29:55Speaker 2: your paycheck, and your dollar, correct? Correct.
- 29:58Speaker 3: And they say, exactly.
- 29:59Speaker 5: And they say, oh, CPI came in at 3.1%, better
- 30:02Speaker 5: than expected. Give me an absolute break. I think the
- 30:07Speaker 5: price of beef is, what, up 600 percent? We could
- 30:10Speaker 5: talk about every single thing. Only the things you use
- 30:13Speaker 5: every day are up in inflation. All the things that
- 30:16Speaker 5: they use to do the numbers are up or down
- 30:19Speaker 5: 0.1 percent. I don't know who they're trying to kid
- 30:21Speaker 5: or who they're lying to. Yeah, if you look month
- 30:23Speaker 5: to month, maybe we're drowning by 30 feet instead of
- 30:26Speaker 5: 32 feet. So on paper, that sounds better if you
- 30:29Speaker 5: work the numbers. but it's still not helping me out.
- 30:32Speaker 5: It's not helping any of the listeners out. It's not
- 30:34Speaker 5: helping the future generation out. It's just screwing us all over.
- 30:38Speaker 5: And then I got to go to work longer to
- 30:40Speaker 5: try to save more money, to invest it in some
- 30:42Speaker 5: company where I don't know the CEO who's going to
- 30:45Speaker 5: do something in the future where AI could just take
- 30:48Speaker 5: it all out by knocking out the whole entire workforce
- 30:51Speaker 5: or one decision by one person in Iran or somebody
- 30:54Speaker 5: in the military doing something to shoot oil prices up
- 30:57Speaker 5: to $ 8 a gallon. It's just hard to get a
- 30:59Speaker 5: fix on where you can play and moving forward it's
- 31:03Speaker 5: just really hard.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah i mean it's a mess trump urges americans to
- 31:08Speaker 2: accept higher gas prices amid war well i don't think
- 31:12Speaker 2: people are going to accept that deal.
- 31:15Speaker 1: They're not.
- 31:16Speaker 5: And you know what? I've always been a big Trump supporter.
- 31:20Speaker 5: I love America. I want Trump to succeed, just like
- 31:23Speaker 5: I wish Joe Biden would have succeeded, because if he succeeds,
- 31:26Speaker 5: I succeed. I always said Donald Trump's the biggest narcissist
- 31:29Speaker 5: of all time. All he wants to do is make
- 31:31Speaker 5: America look good, and I'm okay with that. But he
- 31:36Speaker 5: said no new wars, we're in a new war. He
- 31:38Speaker 5: said gas prices are coming down, they're up. He said
- 31:41Speaker 5: that he's going to make America first. I'm not seeing that.
- 31:45Speaker 5: All the illegals were going.
- 31:46Speaker 3: To be deported.
- 31:47Speaker 5: I don't think he's moving fast enough on that. I
- 31:49Speaker 5: don't think he's doing enough locally, from the local level,
- 31:53Speaker 5: the state level, the federal level, to make a lot
- 31:56Speaker 5: of people want to go out there and really vote
- 31:58Speaker 5: for Republicans. And unfortunately, a lot of people went out
- 32:01Speaker 5: and voted down the ballot for those Republicans, because they
- 32:04Speaker 5: went just to vote for Trump during those elections. So
- 32:07Speaker 5: I don't know if you're going to get those people
- 32:08Speaker 5: out there, especially when you can go to places like
- 32:11Speaker 5: Minneapolis and Minnesota, and you can go to a voting
- 32:14Speaker 5: place and vouch for eight other people that don't even
- 32:16Speaker 5: have their ID with them. And who do you think
- 32:18Speaker 5: they're going to vote for? They're going to vote for
- 32:20Speaker 5: the people who are going to give them more handouts.
- 32:22Speaker 5: And if you want to get elected, you've got to
- 32:24Speaker 5: give more handouts out so that those people keep voting
- 32:27Speaker 5: for you. How do you give out more handouts? You've
- 32:29Speaker 5: got to have more money. How do you get more money?
- 32:32Speaker 5: You print it into oblivion and you screw over the
- 32:34Speaker 5: next generation because you won't be in office by the
- 32:37Speaker 5: time that those repercussions come to fruition. And that's what's
- 32:41Speaker 5: been happening for 50 years. It's getting worse and worse.
- 32:45Speaker 5: And I just don't know when the poo-poo is going
- 32:46Speaker 5: to hit the fan, but there's going to be a
- 32:48Speaker 5: lot of things that are happening quicker than we've ever
- 32:50Speaker 5: seen before. Because for the last 50 years, we've been
- 32:52Speaker 5: going on human time, and now we're seeing a lot
- 32:55Speaker 5: of AI move a lot faster, and they move quicker
- 32:58Speaker 5: than us, they move better than us, and things are
- 33:00Speaker 5: going to happen a lot faster than we can even
- 33:02Speaker 5: fathom or keep up with from a legal standpoint, from
- 33:07Speaker 5: a constitutional standpoint, and just strange things are going to
- 33:11Speaker 5: be happening left and right. And the news media, you
- 33:14Speaker 5: can't keep track of anything that happens week to week.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Just focus on the war in Iran. How many times
- 33:20Speaker 5: did we hear they have 12 days until their oil
- 33:22Speaker 5: wells run out? We're going to go after Karg Island.
- 33:25Speaker 5: We're going to do this. We're going to do that.
- 33:26Speaker 5: It's all just fake news to put out there to
- 33:29Speaker 5: alter the algorithms and the AI so that they can
- 33:32Speaker 5: read the news articles so that the markets don't go
- 33:35Speaker 5: into haywire. But going back to everything, Japan, the interest rates, everything.
- 33:40Speaker 5: The bond market is way bigger than the stock market,
- 33:43Speaker 5: and I'm pretty sure they will crash the stock market
- 33:46Speaker 5: to save the bond market because when we start getting
- 33:49Speaker 5: our interest rates going up, we're paying more on the
- 33:51Speaker 5: national debt, and that's where it starts going parabolic from
- 33:54Speaker 5: $ 40 trillion to $ 50 trillion to $ 60 trillion to $ 70
- 33:56Speaker 5: trillion real quick.
- 33:58Speaker 4: Wow.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Wow.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Thanks, Alec. Appreciate it, buddy. Excellent analysis, really.
- 34:05Speaker 2: 445, a lot of people don't follow that, but I
- 34:09Speaker 2: just think that that's really interesting. Why did we bail
- 34:12Speaker 2: out Japan? Well, for it to save our own height.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I just think that's interesting for people to know. Many
- 34:18Speaker 2: of you didn't even know it took place. The United
- 34:19Speaker 2: States and Japan conducted a joint currency intervention to buy
- 34:23Speaker 2: the plummeting Japanese yen, which had hit a 40-year low. Well,
- 34:26Speaker 2: framed as a support for a key ally, the action
- 34:29Speaker 2: primarily aimed to prevent Japan from selling massive amounts of
- 34:33Speaker 2: the one-plus-trillion-dollar holdings they got in U.S. treasuries to kind
- 34:39Speaker 2: of help out their yen. They say if they would
- 34:42Speaker 2: have sold large portions of those off... It would have
- 34:47Speaker 2: spiked Americans' borrowing costs. Interest rates would have gone up
- 34:51Speaker 2: for treasuries. Dumping those bonds would depress bond prices and
- 34:59Speaker 2: drive U.S. interest rates and mortgages higher, is what I
- 35:02Speaker 2: should say.
- 35:03Speaker 1: So there you go. What a mess. I mean, things
- 35:07Speaker 1: are really a mess. I don't see.
- 35:10Speaker 2: All the Trumpsters supporting this war situation. It's just continuing
- 35:13Speaker 2: to be just a mess. And what's his way out
- 35:18Speaker 2: of this? And if you declare victory and leave, will
- 35:24Speaker 2: it straight open? Will there be tariffs on it? It
- 35:27Speaker 2: just seems like anything that's going to happen is going
- 35:29Speaker 2: to be worse than what it was before he broke it.
- 35:34Speaker 1: You're on the air.
- 35:35Speaker 4: You're on the air.
- 35:37Speaker 1: It's Ted the Conservative.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Did you follow that Japanese yen thing that Alec was
- 35:42Speaker 2: talking about?
- 35:42Speaker 1: I thought that was interesting.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Yeah, how about this? The euro is stronger than the dollar.
- 35:48Speaker 4: $ 1 will buy you $ 1. 16 a euro. One euro will get.
- 35:58Speaker 3: You $ 0.
- 35:58Speaker 4: 84 American dollars.
- 36:10Speaker 1: I mean, but isn't it interesting?
- 36:12Speaker 2: I'm just, in reading that, and people don't get it,
- 36:15Speaker 2: if Japan would have taken a lot of their treasuries
- 36:17Speaker 2: out to save their yen and their economy, it would
- 36:19Speaker 2: have devastated our interest rates.
- 36:22Speaker 1: So we were in a catch-22.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Our currency is very weak.
- 36:28Speaker 1: I mean, you've got to admit, things are a mess.
- 36:31Speaker 1: They really are.
- 36:33Speaker 4: That's why I was calling. Listening to the program, I
- 36:37Speaker 4: had to call and give you an iPad. It's a little...
- 36:41Speaker 4: Crap show. Trump has scrapped the bed. I agreed with
- 36:46Speaker 4: the mission to go into Iran. The execution has been
- 36:51Speaker 4: a failure. I don't think he could have done this
- 36:54Speaker 4: any worse if he tried. He's destroying any chances we
- 37:01Speaker 4: have of coming out of this looking respectable, actually. you know,
- 37:07Speaker 4: it's on, it's off, it's on, it's off. I mean,
- 37:09Speaker 4: who goes to war? Who gets the troops ready, gets
- 37:12Speaker 4: them on that front line, starts their path, and then says, wait,
- 37:16Speaker 4: let's put the brakes on. I can't imagine how demoralizing
- 37:21Speaker 4: it is for a military. Can you imagine being sent
- 37:24Speaker 4: to war? Okay, you get mentally prepared to go to war, right?
- 37:29Speaker 4: You have to get in a certain headspace to do
- 37:31Speaker 4: something like that. Then all of a sudden, Your leader
- 37:35Speaker 4: tells you, hold on, guys, we're pulling back. The boss
- 37:38Speaker 4: decided he doesn't want to do anything today. That's not
- 37:41Speaker 4: how you fight a war. I think Trump's lack of
- 37:45Speaker 4: intelligence has really started to show. He might be a
- 37:48Speaker 4: sharp business guy. I think he's more of a shrewd
- 37:51Speaker 4: business guy. You know, he's ripped off so many people
- 37:53Speaker 4: his entire life. He's bankrupt, you know, paying people pennies
- 37:58Speaker 4: on the dollar. I think that makes you intelligent. But
- 38:02Speaker 4: I don't think he's a dumb guy either. But as
- 38:06Speaker 4: I told you before, I've been saying this, and I
- 38:08Speaker 4: heard Alex say, you're narcissistic off the charts. And I
- 38:13Speaker 4: remember when I first said that, the beating I took.
- 38:15Speaker 4: And I think I'm coming out right on that. The guy,
- 38:19Speaker 4: he's more worried about his name on buildings, his self-retribution,
- 38:25Speaker 4: his self-enrichment, than he is about the country. I'm going
- 38:30Speaker 4: to label his second term as a failure because with
- 38:33Speaker 4: the exception that we've kind of stopped the Democrats from
- 38:35Speaker 4: moving their agenda forward, at least. You could talk about
- 38:39Speaker 4: the big, beautiful bill. You could talk about the small
- 38:41Speaker 4: things he's done through executive order. He's not made my
- 38:45Speaker 4: life better. He's not made your life better. He promised
- 38:48Speaker 4: on day one he would reduce prices, right? Promised on
- 38:51Speaker 4: day one he'd reduce inflation. Promised he'd reduce fuel prices.
- 38:56Speaker 4: He failed on everything.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Everything.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Now, that doesn't mean I don't still support him. I've
- 39:02Speaker 4: earned for the guy, but all my worst nightmares are
- 39:06Speaker 4: coming true.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Well, let me put it this way.
- 39:08Speaker 3: I'll continue to.
- 39:09Speaker 4: Support him, but, you know, man, he doesn't look.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Good at all.
- 39:12Speaker 2: All right, get a little closer to your phone so
- 39:14Speaker 2: the audio is just a little bit better. You're disappointed
- 39:17Speaker 2: in him, is what you're saying. I mean, it doesn't
- 39:20Speaker 2: mean you would vote for Kamala Harris or AOC or
- 39:24Speaker 2: Sherrod Brown or any of those people. Obviously, that goes
- 39:27Speaker 2: without saying. But you're disappointed in him. What happened to
- 39:31Speaker 2: the American first agenda? And you're just disappointed in it.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I mean, he started he started this situation. And it's
- 39:38Speaker 2: just did you happen to if any of you have
- 39:41Speaker 2: been following this?
- 39:43Speaker 1: What's this? The Abraham Lincoln ship that's out there.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Yep, yep, yep.
- 39:47Speaker 1: I mean, if you read about this, it is..
- 39:50Speaker 4: I.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Mean, the food is running out. The ship's been out
- 39:58Speaker 2: there for, what, 250 days? The food supply isn't very good.
- 40:03Speaker 2: It needs a lot of repairs. The water supply is down.
- 40:07Speaker 2: I mean, when you read about the conditions that these
- 40:10Speaker 2: sailors are putting up with after 250 days, it is
- 40:14Speaker 2: pretty troubling to... To the point where they even said,
- 40:19Speaker 2: I don't know how many supposedly committed suicide or jumped
- 40:22Speaker 2: off the boat. But the reality was they finally at
- 40:26Speaker 2: long last said, well, we're going to let that ship
- 40:28Speaker 2: return and we're going to send out the George Washington.
- 40:32Speaker 2: But when you read about the conditions on it, you're
- 40:34Speaker 2: thinking to yourself. This is part of the problem. It's
- 40:38Speaker 2: so far from anything we have. But why aren't these
- 40:41Speaker 2: guys got better groceries there?
- 40:43Speaker 1: Stand by, Ted. Stand by.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Back with Ted the Conservative, 452. It's already a Monday afternoon.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Ron Verb from the Kingdom of Mahoney.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Your one-stop KBN. Ted the Conservative.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Do you remember..
- 41:00Speaker 2: I.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Remember when... A flashback.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Do you remember when G2 said, when this was all
- 41:07Speaker 2: getting started, he said he was opposed to this war?
- 41:10Speaker 1: From the very beginning because.
- 41:12Speaker 2: It would derail the American agenda and it could affect
- 41:16Speaker 2: us on the midterms. And that would be more devastating
- 41:20Speaker 2: to the future of our country than this nuclear threat
- 41:24Speaker 2: from Iran.
- 41:25Speaker 1: I'm paraphrasing him.
- 41:26Speaker 2: When G2 said the nuclear threat to Iran, he didn't
- 41:29Speaker 2: really consider it to be a threat because they knew
- 41:31Speaker 2: if they tried anything with the United States, we'd annihilate
- 41:34Speaker 2: them as far as a nuclear weapon was concerned. That
- 41:38Speaker 2: he didn't even consider it to be a serious threat
- 41:41Speaker 2: from Iran. And that by doing what he did, the
- 41:47Speaker 2: biggest threat will be losing the midterms, derailing the American
- 41:51Speaker 2: agenda and the crap and stalling everything or reversing everything.
- 41:57Speaker 2: as a result of those actions and not accomplishing the
- 42:01Speaker 2: SAVE Act, not accomplishing the American First Agenda.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I think that's coming true. Do you? I mean, that's
- 42:09Speaker 1: what I'm concerned about.
- 42:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree. I agree completely. I think he is
- 42:14Speaker 4: just taking the train off the tracks, and I'm not
- 42:16Speaker 4: sure how he gets it back on. Just really just
- 42:20Speaker 4: so disappointed. I don't think this is what any of
- 42:23Speaker 4: us voted for.
- 42:24Speaker 1: No.
- 42:25Speaker 3: I just..
- 42:26Speaker 4: I agree with everything you said to start the show.
- 42:28Speaker 4: I just wanted to give you an eye cap. And
- 42:29Speaker 4: I don't know where we go from here. He's made
- 42:32Speaker 4: a mess. Just a mess.
- 42:34Speaker 1: And I don't know.
- 42:35Speaker 4: And really, he can't even see it.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 42:38Speaker 2: I mean, he's becoming as oblivious to it as Biden
- 42:41Speaker 2: was trying to convince everything.
- 42:44Speaker 1: It's not as bad as you think.
- 42:45Speaker 2: That argument isn't going to carry any water, just like
- 42:48Speaker 2: it didn't for Biden.
- 42:49Speaker 1: It's not going to work for him either.
- 42:52Speaker 4: No, and then he wants, you know, now he wants
- 42:54Speaker 4: these other countries to jump in and fix the mess. Like,
- 42:57Speaker 4: what did he do with South Korea yesterday? Did you
- 42:59Speaker 4: see that?
- 43:00Speaker 2: No.
- 43:03Speaker 4: I've got to fine-tune Senate to you. He basically went
- 43:06Speaker 4: on to see how we run our military in South Korea,
- 43:09Speaker 4: run training missions together down there in that, you know, that,
- 43:12Speaker 4: what do you call it, denaturalized zone?
- 43:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:15Speaker 4: Every year our military... Well, this year he says that
- 43:20Speaker 4: we shouldn't be doing this because Kim Jong-un is such
- 43:23Speaker 4: a good friend and ally. And that he apologized to
- 43:27Speaker 4: Kim Jong-un for having.
- 43:29Speaker 3: To do this.
- 43:29Speaker 4: But because of their relationship, he's going to steal back
- 43:33Speaker 4: the military action. He's told Pete Higgs to steal it back.
- 43:37Speaker 4: And then he made a sarcastic comment. He asked South
- 43:40Speaker 4: Korea to help us in the Iran conflict. conflict and
- 43:44Speaker 4: they said no and i said okay thanks so in
- 43:46Speaker 4: other words you won't come bail me out of my
- 43:49Speaker 4: mess but we're not going to live up to our
- 43:51Speaker 4: obligations and help protect
- 43:52Speaker 2: You thank you ted it's the big building
