SPEAKER_00: You know what's so funny?
• 0:08
SPEAKER_00: That is exactly the same phrase I use for like folders when I'm saving things on Etsy or Facebook Marketplace, and it's something for my house.
• 0:17
SPEAKER_00: I call it Pain Palace.
• 0:18
SPEAKER_00: I mean, way less nicer than my parents' house.
• 0:20

• 0:24
SPEAKER_01: So come listen, come on in with me.
• 0:27
SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, here we are.
• 0:29
SPEAKER_01: Now, I told you how this this is the house that when you go into, you're just like, damn it, this makes me just anxious because I keep thinking of all the things that I want to do to my house.
• 0:41
SPEAKER_01: Like your parents never ever have to lift a finger as long as they live again with everything in this house, unless they absolutely want to do something.
• 0:49
SPEAKER_01: I told you for sure.
• 0:50
SPEAKER_00: This is their last house.
• 0:51

• 0:57
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know why.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, quit spending my inheritance, please.
• 1:01
  SPEAKER_00: And thank you.
• 1:02
SPEAKER_01: I mean, unless you're invested well and it's gonna re-imb re uh place itself.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_01: Can we not get those counters?
• 1:07
  SPEAKER_00: Right, knock it off.
• 1:08
SPEAKER_00: Actually, maybe they want to because I'm the one who has to take care of selling their house when they kick the bucket.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, don't sell it.
• 1:14
SPEAKER_01: Let's do the show remote from there.
• 1:16
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 1:17
SPEAKER_00: You're so funny about that because I don't have a tie to this house.
• 1:20
  SPEAKER_00: I wasn't, I didn't grow up in this house.
• 1:22
SPEAKER_01: I have a tie to this house, and all I did was get a tour.
• 1:24
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, this is gorgeous.
• 1:25
SPEAKER_00: I know you guys think I sound so ungrateful when I when I say what I'm gonna say, but because I didn't grow up in this house, I just don't have any memories that are like those, those core memories.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_00: I go home for Christmas, but other than that- You don't need a memory to buy a house.
• 1:40
  SPEAKER_01: Buy a house because it's nice.
• 1:41
  SPEAKER_01: This house is gorgeous.
• 1:42
  SPEAKER_01: It is gorgeous.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_01: You don't need a memory, make your own memories.
• 1:45
SPEAKER_01: That's the point of buying a house.
• 1:46
SPEAKER_01: You didn't have any memories to the house you're in now, did you?
• 1:49
SPEAKER_00: Are you trying to get not yet?
• 1:50
  SPEAKER_00: Uh I mean I do, but they're they're they're baby memories.
• 1:54
SPEAKER_00: But I'm trying to get to a point where uh are you I'm I'm sorry, are you trying to get to a point where we're doing the show from Cleveland?
• 2:01
SPEAKER_01: No, I'm just trying to get to a point where you give me your parents' house.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_01: Oh so guys, yeah, then you go downstairs.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_01: Now, I've I've known this was in existence for a long time, but words don't even put it until you experience it.
• 2:16
SPEAKER_01: Words don't even put it into uh a description.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_01: So your father's collectible display is so remarkable.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_01: He's got gorgeous display cases, he's got everything from superhero uh figurines to one-of-a-kind uh Beatles memorabilia to uh I mean just it's uh it's like he's a collector.
• 2:37
SPEAKER_01: It's literally like walking into Comic Con.
• 2:39
  SPEAKER_01: It really is.
• 2:39
SPEAKER_01: Yes, and uh so Comic Con and the rock hall, right?
• 2:43
SPEAKER_01: And and very, very, very impressive with all that.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_01: Then he continues to tell me, he goes, well, and I I circulate through the collection, and I'm like, what?
• 2:51
SPEAKER_01: And he goes, but what you see now may not be on display in the next year.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_01: I might swap it out.
• 2:57
SPEAKER_01: And he takes me into the back room.
• 2:58
SPEAKER_00: It's like every other museum, you know?
• 3:00
SPEAKER_00: You have the curator who switches things out.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_01: It's like the Smithsonian of Geekdom.
• 3:05
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, this is great.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, then he takes me into the theater.
• 3:08
SPEAKER_01: Guys, I'm not joking when I tell you this.
• 3:10
  SPEAKER_01: They have a theater.
• 3:11
SPEAKER_01: If you think you have a theater room in your house, you do not.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_01: I want you to take literally a this the small Regal cinema and dump it into her parents' house.

• 3:22
  SPEAKER_01: I really did.
• 3:22
SPEAKER_00: Zach said the same thing.
• 3:24
SPEAKER_00: He goes, I thought it was gonna be like a couple like overstuffed chairs.
• 3:28
SPEAKER_01: It is six rows, a full-blown, heavy-duty upper projection theater surround sound system that honest to God will blow your eyelashes off.
• 3:38
SPEAKER_01: This literally is a full-on movie theater in your parents' basement.
• 3:43
SPEAKER_01: Like five rows, the slanted seats, you know, where you have to go up.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, couples or who does this?
• 3:49
SPEAKER_01: And then I'm thinking to myself, where can I do this in my life?
• 3:52
SPEAKER_00: You know, and that's I never I never have had this um this will to save up that much money and do something great like that.
• 3:59
SPEAKER_00: But this just goes to show my parents don't ever vacation.
• 4:03
SPEAKER_00: And they they say why?
• 4:05
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, why leave this house?
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what they say.
• 4:08
  SPEAKER_00: Why leave this house?
• 4:09
  SPEAKER_00: This house is great.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_00: Where I'm such a traveler and that's where I spend my money.
