- 0:00SPEAKER_02: You had your chance, people.
- 0:02SPEAKER_02: I don't know what to tell you.
- 0:03SPEAKER_02: You had your chance to walk away with almost$1,400 today with that June 17th, 1982 birthday.
- 0:09SPEAKER_02: But you know what?
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: Now we're past 10 minutes and six seconds, so.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: What the heck?
- 0:13SPEAKER_02: There it goes.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Now we're up to 1,484.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: But that won't be next Friday.
- 0:19SPEAKER_02: No, we have uh a little bit of a time off next Friday.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Yes, Scott and I both have next Friday off.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna have to wait until hold on.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Let me look at the date.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: September, oh, September 11th.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, the day of Nelly! Nelly Day.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: And of course, September 11th, obviously.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: But uh that'd be interesting if we gave it away on Nelly Day and September 11th.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: That'd be something, huh?
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: I I all I can say is you you had your chance, but we'll keep putting money on that pile for you and going from there.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Blue Azurs.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, I just had to do it.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: Couldn't help myself.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: All right, so uh good luck for you on the next one.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: Uh okay, I have to.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: So there's uh we we can't get out of the way of the Dolly stuff.
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: And that's great.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: Believe me, that's great.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: I I think that it is wonderful to see the tributes.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: I think it's wonderful to see ideas starting of how we can carry on the legacy of Dolly.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: We will be doing something here, I promise you.
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: Uh, we actually have uh uh more than a loose plan.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: It's it's uh tightening down as we speak, and I think you guys will feel good about what's gonna happen.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: I'll we'll get to that as as we get a little bit more locked in.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: But listen to this TikToker's idea, and I don't hate it.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: We should all have a giant girl's night.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: The glammest you have ever got in your life! Closed where you're like, where am I gonna wear this to this girl's night?
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: One of the bars around here will sponsor.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: I'm sure of it.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Nails put 78 clip in extensions, and that would be just enough.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Wig it up! I do love this idea.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I and okay, we've gotta think of again.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: I always want to go with the name.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: What's the name gonna be for this girl's night?
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Because it's gotta be hold on.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Dolled up like Dolly.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: Ooh, ooh.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Something like that.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Something like that.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: I I definitely I'm definitely for this because this doesn't have to be something that would happen at C Mog because I think it would be it would pack right out.
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: It would be bigger than anything.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Is there a Dolly tribute person?
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Because I know we love tribute bands here.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: So is there You don't say I do know somebody that used to do a doll.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, you guys.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: I have somebody.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Back in the day, uh, my parents had a really close friend, and you know, they're not as close to her anymore anymore, but we had our little Christmases.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: We were doing our all of our skits and everything.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: She would come in with a blonde wig and huge tatas, sparkly dress, and she would lip sync Dolly songs, and she looked a lot like Dolly.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: So here we are.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Merry Christmas.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: There's Santa Claus in one corner, Dolly and her and her huge jugs in the other one.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Working on to humongous hungalonga no no logongus.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: I wonder how much she would charge.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Honestly, I think I feel like she would do it for free.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's so good.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, what do you feel about a bunch of lip syncing?
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Or is that too tacky?
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: If you can find a real well, no, I don't know.
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: It's there can't be anything tacky about this because everything about it's tacky.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Well, you have to remember that that's true.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: You have to remember that she really did this a bunch about 20 years ago.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: So now instead of looking like how Dolly looks, she's kind of like the team moo version of Dolly.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Your parents' friend.
- 3:44unknown: Yeah.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Which is so perfect, oddly.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: So listen to you on this, okay?
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, this is great.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: We just got this text.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: Love this idea.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: Let's do it.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: I'll wear uh my push-up bra.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, yes.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, how I love this.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: How about pardon me, Dolly nights?
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's good.
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: You guys are good on this.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: And listen, here's the deal.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: Wait a minute.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: I even hold hold on.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: And by the way, whoever is listening, all bajillion of you right now, you know that there is a venue who's listening.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: It's somebody from CMOG or Rockwell or wherever.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Hell, illegal or Centertown Social.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Those are ideas.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: And and I you're gonna steal our idea.
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, don't listen.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: You steal this idea, any of you businesses, I'm gonna sue your balls off.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Come to us first.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: I will literally have you in Shimong County Court before you can say crap.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: So don't even steal my idea.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: I just put it right out there, right now, to let you know this is absolutely my idea.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: Intellectual property.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: It's the TikToker's idea.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: So, but if you take it and run without coming to us first, I will put my foot so far up your ass you won't know what hitch you.
- 4:51SPEAKER_02: Dolly will come out of the grave.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, she'll come up.
- 4:53SPEAKER_02: She'll say, nah, that wasn't very nice.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: You stole Scott Nadia's idea that they stole from TikTok.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: Well, all right, this is getting layered.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Should we do like a Dolly look-alike contest?
- 5:03SPEAKER_02: Oh God, you have to do a Dolly pageant.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: Uh and listen.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: As opposed to a Dolly Part and a Dolly pageant.
- 5:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right?
- 5:10SPEAKER_02: And listen, there's there's more to this.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: I'm listening.
- 5:13SPEAKER_02: We have to do a little cover charge to get in, but all the money goes to the Imagination Library.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: All of it.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Yes, all the money.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: All the money goes.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: Come on.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: You like this idea?
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: I love this idea.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: I think, okay, we've got to.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: I got another one.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: So cookies, and they're all bras.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: Oh my God, that's great.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: And boobs.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: I think we should do it.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: The naked boob isn't Dolly's thing.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: I think it should be brawls.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: I think we should do it on 925.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Friday night, which means we have about an hour or an hour, a month to plan this.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: September.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: We should do it on September 25th.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Can we do it?
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: Do you know I planned an adult Easter egg hunt in three weeks once?
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: And it worked out great.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: So I well.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Anxiety.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: I was riddled with anxiety.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm telling you guys, this this could be something.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: This could be the party celebration for Dolly.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: I got I know somebody on the marketing team for CMOG.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: Here we go.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: Well, I'll start it.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: I'll start it.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: We'll get it started and then go from there, but you guys will have to commit to it.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: Can I dress like Dolly too?
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: I I would love nothing but.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: You have you probably have a dress that would work for me, right?
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: I've got three dresses.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: One for you, one for me.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: One for Zach, please.
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: Come on.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: I'm not doing this alone.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, so here's the thing.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: Dolly's partner, Carl, never was seen in the limelight.
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: That doesn't matter, Dolly.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: I was thinking, you know, Dolly in the early days, you know, she had a little bit of Dolly love on her.
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: That'd be perfect.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: Well, Zach could portray early Dolly.
- 6:44SPEAKER_02: I was thinking that.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: It's kind of weird how Elvis got fat late in his career and we're Dolly skinnyed out.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: I know I like her.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: I liked her a little fuller.
- 6:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah?
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: Did you?
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, I loved her all the way around.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: Every introvert.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Yes, every intro.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: And three.
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: Yes, Allie.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: You're listening to Scott and Allie.
- 7:03SPEAKER_02: Scott and Allie's big three.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: You wanted the Tupac update.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: Thursday was day nine of the trial of the Tupac update.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: I'll tell you more about it in just one moment because I also have a local story I want to hit too.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: First, the big three brought to you by E and V Energy in Bath.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: They deliver propane, fuel oil, and kerosene to your home, farm, or business with no delivery fees or surcharges.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: Thank you, baby Jesus.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: They're the no-fee fuel company.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: Now, first the local story.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Now, there's no date set for this, but more changes coming to Elmyra.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: An abandoned building, the former Izzars building on Main Street, will become apartments.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: Capriati Properties does not have a date, but they say that is in the plan.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: Now, here's your Tupac update.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: Thursday was day nine of the trial of Dwayne Davis, accused of orchestrating the murder of Tupac Shakur back in 1996.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: You know, Scott, you thought your divorce court proceedings were long.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: Well talk about this one.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: 1996 to 2026.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: The defense called several witnesses before resting.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Davis did not testify.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: Afterwards, the judge set closing arguments for Monday.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: So we still have to wait even longer.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: And we know that there was a measles outbreak in Pennsylvania.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: And now a Pennsylvania coroner says an infant who tested positive for measles died from a ruptured spleen, not from the virus.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: The state had earlier listed the baby as one of the two measles deaths uh in Lancaster County.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: The coroner said that the the birth uh the I'm sorry, the infant died shortly after birth from internal bleeding caused by traumatic rupture of the spleen.
- 8:43SPEAKER_01: He says measles was found in the baby's lung tissue, but the doctor who performed the autopsy did not believe that measles caused the death.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: Now this has raised a little bit of a dispute, my friend, over how the state is counting deaths linked to the disease.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: For kicks and giggles, I did Google, and I'm no doctor, but I did Google does uh measles rupture a spleen?
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: It says measles does not typically rupture a spleen directly, but a viral infection can indirectly make the organ more fragile and vulnerable to tearing during the physical strain of birth.
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: Gotcha.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: And there's the big thing.
- 9:23SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: Because people are coming on board with our dolly uh our dolly party.
- 9:28SPEAKER_01: Yay, yay, yay! Dolly party.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: This is a great question.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: It said, uh, can there be vendors at the Dolly Party uh Dolly Parton thing?
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: The doll what what did you call it?
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: You called it uh Um dolled up like Dolly?
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: Dolled up like Dolly.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: I think that's we may have to go with that.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: Either way, uh As far as vendors?
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean you probably I mean I would have to think it would have to be a vendor that would fit.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: Like if you did huge gaudy nails, absolutely.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: I was also thinking, I said the cookie thing, right?
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: Wigs, cookies, yeah.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: I don't know how the cookie thing correlates, but because they make the these really pretty cutout cookies.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: Have you ever seen the magician's kitchen?
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: They're a local cookie company here.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: Is he uh this person could do um like bra cookies, you know?
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Okay, or or or wait, wait, wait, wait, or a little like well, Dolly is a big hair cookies.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: They just like a bunch of dolly themed cookies.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: And then pink hearts, red lips.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: I like this idea a lot.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: This came from Holly, and it was also if there are people there that have birthdays, you could play the Dolly birthday song.
- 10:29SPEAKER_03: The days go by faster and faster.
- 10:32SPEAKER_03: The calendar turns another year pasture.
- 10:34SPEAKER_03: It's a special day for you to shine.
- 10:37SPEAKER_03: This party has to happen.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: Cause it's birthday time.
- 10:50SPEAKER_03: What a day for celebrate idea.
- 11:02SPEAKER_03: It's a time for job.
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: Happy birthday to you!
