- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 0:02Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 0:03Speaker 4: Just after six o'clock on this Thursday morning.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Thank you for being here. It's going to be a
- 0:07Speaker 2: great day.
- 0:08Speaker 4: Ricky's got those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 0:10Speaker 5: What's happening, Ricky?
- 0:12Speaker 1: I thought you were going to start rapping at that point.
- 0:13Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 0:14Speaker 3: I know.
- 0:14Speaker 5: It kind of felt like it.
- 0:15Speaker 1: It felt like it for sure. Tate McRae has a
- 0:18Speaker 1: new single coming, Housewife. It comes out next week on Thursday.
- 0:22Speaker 1: This is a new era as this song is the
- 0:24Speaker 1: first one that she's released in about a year. And
- 0:27Speaker 1: she was teasing a bunch of other things that she's
- 0:29Speaker 1: getting into. She just recently announced her fragrance, Tate 101.
- 0:32Speaker 1: So I'm really excited to see all the new stuff
- 0:34Speaker 1: we're going to get from Tate McRae. Starting with Housewife
- 0:37Speaker 1: next week. Red Bull Jukebox Nashville is set for November
- 0:42Speaker 1: 7th at the Pinnacle. This is an interactive show, so
- 0:45Speaker 1: this is pretty cool. The crowd, like, votes both online
- 0:47Speaker 1: and in real life on song choices and performance styles,
- 0:51Speaker 1: things like that, so you really get to be a
- 0:52Speaker 1: part of it. This is their third year doing this
- 0:55Speaker 1: in Nashville, and this year's headliner is Max McDowd. Cameron
- 0:59Speaker 1: Marlowe and Cassidy Daniels are also set to perform that night.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Tickets are on sale if you want to go check
- 1:05Speaker 1: it out. Like I said, really cool idea. The interactive
- 1:08Speaker 1: part of the show is, like, fascinating to me. Like,
- 1:11Speaker 1: you just never know what's going to happen next. And
- 1:14Speaker 1: a new report reveals the most and least stressful airports
- 1:17Speaker 1: in the country. They do this quite often, at least, like,
- 1:19Speaker 1: once or twice a year. They take a look at
- 1:21Speaker 1: data to see which had the most flight delays, cancellations.
- 1:26Speaker 1: They compare driving distance and time to the closest city,
- 1:29Speaker 1: things like that. The most stressful airport in the U.S.
- 1:34Speaker 1: is Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. and mostly because they have a
- 1:38Speaker 1: lot of delays. Their delay rate is 33.67%. Get it together, Dallas.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Not great. Not great. And the least stressful is Salt
- 1:47Speaker 1: Lake City International Airport in Salt Lake City, Utah, because
- 1:50Speaker 1: it's so close to the city, and it has a
- 1:52Speaker 1: low flight disruption rate. I will say, as someone who's
- 1:56Speaker 1: flown into Salt Lake City, it's also a very nice airport.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Yeah, they keep it nice and clean, and it's nice.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I've genuinely went, oh, I could see that being one
- 2:06Speaker 1: of the best ones. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are
- 2:08Speaker 1: the three things you need to know.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Appreciate you, Ricky, as always. Here's Bruno Mars. Don't forget, guys,
- 2:13Speaker 4: I know you didn't forget. It's too hard to forget
- 2:15Speaker 4: because it's so big. We have jingle ball tickets on
- 2:17Speaker 4: the way for the first caller.
- 2:18Speaker 5: We've had these every day this week.
- 2:20Speaker 4: You're about 15 minutes away, 10 minutes away. Let's say
- 2:23Speaker 4: 10 minutes away. We'll ask you to call to win
- 2:25Speaker 4: these tickets.
- 2:25Speaker 5: It's a big one.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Jingle Ball's coming to Nashville.
- 2:28Speaker 5: You can win your way in next.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Good morning, friends. It's 107.5 The River. Camille in Lewisburg
- 2:36Speaker 2: is on the line right now.
- 2:37Speaker 5: You're driving.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Camille, what are you doing?
- 2:38Speaker 5: You on your way to work?
- 2:39Speaker 7: I'm on my way to work and dropping my kids
- 2:41Speaker 7: off at school.
- 2:42Speaker 5: How many kids do you have?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Two.
- 2:45Speaker 7: Both in high school.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Oh, in high school.
- 2:47Speaker 4: And they're not getting themselves to school on their little
- 2:49Speaker 4: e-bikes or whatever the kids have?
- 2:51Speaker 6: On their little e-bikes?
- 2:53Speaker 3: No.
- 2:53Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 2:54Speaker 3: What?
- 2:56Speaker 1: This man claims he knows what kids do and, like,
- 2:59Speaker 1: how kids, like, what the kids are into and things
- 3:01Speaker 1: like that.
- 3:02Speaker 6: And then he says, aren't they getting to.
- 3:04Speaker 2: School on their little e-bikes? Are they rollerblading these days?
- 3:07Speaker 3: Yes. Kevin?
- 3:08Speaker 7: I would hope not from Lewisburg to Franklin.
- 3:11Speaker 4: That would be a long way from Lewisburg.
- 3:14Speaker 5: To Franklin on their rollerblades.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Are they having a nice school? Let's change subjects here.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Are they having a nice school year so far?
- 3:26Speaker 7: They are. I have a senior and freshman, and they
- 3:29Speaker 7: get to be together for one year.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I loved senior year so much.
- 3:33Speaker 3: It was fun.
- 3:34Speaker 6: It was so fun.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It was so exciting to be like, oh, we're almost
- 3:38Speaker 1: done with this place.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Camille, do y'all have fall break next week?
- 3:42Speaker 7: We do. Friday's our half day. I have to go
- 3:45Speaker 7: to school wearing 81 temporary tattoos as a fundraiser for
- 3:49Speaker 7: my school.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Love it.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Okay, as a fundraiser.
- 3:53Speaker 4: So this is tomorrow, so you have to wake up
- 3:55Speaker 4: extra early and put on 81 temporary tattoos?
- 3:58Speaker 5: I do.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 3:59Speaker 2: That's going to take some time. You're going to look
- 4:01Speaker 2: like Travis Barker.
- 4:04Speaker 7: Some people have more than that. One person has 260
- 4:07Speaker 7: to put on. 260? Yep.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I would just tell people that I have them all on,
- 4:13Speaker 1: even though I don't, and I'd wear some long sleeves.
- 4:17Speaker 7: Unfortunately, the kids are looking for it.
- 4:18Speaker 5: I feel like at that point, you just, like, line
- 4:20Speaker 5: them all up, and then you get a wet towel.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Instead of doing them individually, like, get a wet towel
- 4:26Speaker 5: and soak yourself with it. That's a good goal.
- 4:28Speaker 6: That one lady, though, is going to be.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Putting tattoos on her freaking face with how many she's got.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Like, dang.
- 4:33Speaker 7: We were told we can only put them on our arms.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 4:36Speaker 5: It's going to be covered.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Good luck to you and to her tomorrow for this fundraiser.
- 4:41Speaker 1: That's a cute idea, though. That's a nice fundraiser to
- 4:43Speaker 1: do for the kids.
- 4:45Speaker 7: It is a good idea.
- 4:46Speaker 2: We should probably tell you that, hey, you're the first
- 4:48Speaker 2: caller of the day. You're going to Jingle Ball.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Alex Warren, Hilary Duff, Teddy Swims, OneRepublic, Nickelback, Stella Lefty,
- 4:55Speaker 4: The Beaches, and JYT. Those tickets are available now, and
- 4:57Speaker 4: they're going fast, so everyone else can get them at
- 5:00Speaker 4: 1075 The River.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But, Camille, we will see you there on December 17th.
- 5:03Speaker 7: All right. Thank you.
- 5:04Speaker 6: Hang on the line, love.
- 5:05Speaker 5: One more chance to win them this week. We've had
- 5:07Speaker 5: them all week for the first caller.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Be here tomorrow morning.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Start your day with us.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning. This is a
- 5:13Speaker 1: little bit of a Ricky rant is what this is
- 5:15Speaker 1: going to be, but I think it's something that you
- 5:17Speaker 1: have probably noticed about society as well.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Split it a rant about. Split it a rant about.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I noticed something last night that just kind of sent
- 5:28Speaker 1: me over the edge.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 5:30Speaker 6: It's something that.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Has been creeping up and kind of happening here and
- 5:34Speaker 1: there and times where I've mentioned it, but it has
- 5:37Speaker 1: gotten at its all-time worst recently.
- 5:41Speaker 5: Do you think we all can relate to this?
- 5:43Speaker 3: Oh, yes.
- 5:44Speaker 1: You all are going to say, yes, I know what
- 5:46Speaker 1: you're talking about.
- 5:47Speaker 6: I feel your pain.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Right after Bruno Mars, tell us what it is.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Ricky's rant about society next on The River.
- 5:54Speaker 3: 107.5, The River.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I'm so anxious to hear what this is. It's 107.5,
- 6:00Speaker 4: The River. I know Ricky was out last night. Ricky
- 6:02Speaker 4: and Zach both went to a party and something about
- 6:05Speaker 4: the vibe there, the scene, the people.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Set her off.
- 6:08Speaker 4: She said there's something happening in society that's at an
- 6:10Speaker 4: all-time fever pitch right now and it's annoying her.
- 6:12Speaker 5: What is it, Ricky?
- 6:13Speaker 1: Well, Nashville Scene's Best of Nashville party was last night.
- 6:16Speaker 1: That's what we were at. We always love that party.
- 6:18Speaker 1: It's so well done.
- 6:19Speaker 5: It was so beautiful.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But this is something, and it's probably because I've now
- 6:24Speaker 1: experienced it twice this week at two big events. You
- 6:29Speaker 1: guys got to understand spatial awareness out there. There is
- 6:33Speaker 1: zero spatial awareness by anyone anywhere at all anymore. There
- 6:39Speaker 1: are other people in the world other than you.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 6:44Speaker 6: Everyone's standing in the way.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Nobody's paying attention to anybody around them.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Last night, I had this woman.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I don't know what she was excited about, but she
- 6:53Speaker 1: was excited about something. She had taken a little sample
- 6:57Speaker 1: of Old Smoky Moonshine.
- 6:59Speaker 6: Drank it. There was still some left.
- 7:02Speaker 1: She got so excited about something, she threw the shot
- 7:05Speaker 1: glass up in the air. The moonshine got all over
- 7:09Speaker 1: my hair that I had just washed two hours prior because.
- 7:15Speaker 6: This woman got so excited.
- 7:16Speaker 1: That she didn't even realize there were anybody like there
- 7:18Speaker 1: were no people around her.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Oh, my God. Yes.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It got all over me, like literally everywhere. I got
- 7:24Speaker 1: all over the people next to me. The person who
- 7:26Speaker 1: is like gave her the tester drink to try. And
- 7:29Speaker 1: you're probably wondering, well, she might have been drunk. She
- 7:32Speaker 1: was not drunk. She just had no idea that there
- 7:35Speaker 1: was anybody else existing in the world around her other
- 7:37Speaker 1: than herself.
- 7:37Speaker 5: I was going to say, maybe, Ricky, maybe they just couldn't.
- 7:40Speaker 3: See you?
- 7:41Speaker 5: Because you're so little. That's maybe why, but if it
- 7:45Speaker 5: got all over everybody else as well, then that makes
- 7:48Speaker 5: more sense.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Multiple other people around me also got covered in moonshine.
- 7:51Speaker 5: What was she so excited about? Maybe that's all I
- 7:52Speaker 5: can think about.
- 7:53Speaker 4: She saw a tiny little person coming up to her
- 7:55Speaker 4: while she was drinking moonshine.
- 7:56Speaker 5: And she's like, oh my god! Sorry, Ricky.
- 7:59Speaker 4: But it's a classy party. This lady should not have
- 8:02Speaker 4: been doing that. I agree with you 100%.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And I keep going to concerts and I love concerts.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I love shows. But people have no idea that there
- 8:10Speaker 1: are anybody around them or paying attention to anybody around them.
- 8:13Speaker 5: What do you think it is?
- 8:14Speaker 6: It's gotten out of control.
- 8:15Speaker 1: There was a girl next to me at the role
- 8:17Speaker 1: model concert who was flipping her long.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Hair all up.
- 8:21Speaker 1: All over me. No, ma'am.
- 8:23Speaker 6: It was literally insane.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And I'm not saying flipping as in like moving her hair.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You know, like sometimes you move and your hair brushes
- 8:30Speaker 1: against somebody. She was intentionally like headbanging and slapping her
- 8:35Speaker 1: long hair all over everybody around her.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 8:38Speaker 6: Other people exist in the world.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 8:41Speaker 6: It's making me nuts. And I don't know why it's
- 8:44Speaker 6: getting worse. I don't have any idea.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Why it's getting worse. That's what I was going to
- 8:47Speaker 5: ask is like, what do you think is happening? Because
- 8:49Speaker 5: I do feel like it has gotten worse of like,
- 8:51Speaker 5: why are you in my personal space? There are like
- 8:53Speaker 5: personal boundaries. Why are you so close?
- 8:55Speaker 1: I think after the pandemic, it got worse because people
- 8:58Speaker 1: were like, oh, my God, I don't need to stand
- 8:59Speaker 1: six feet away from you or whatever it is.
- 9:01Speaker 6: I can be up in your business.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So they got really close again, but they're getting like
- 9:07Speaker 1: just disrespectful.
- 9:08Speaker 5: I definitely don't want the pandemic to come back, but
- 9:12Speaker 5: I would love the six feet rule again.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Please get away from me. Pay attention. Just pay attention
- 9:17Speaker 6: to the people around.
- 9:18Speaker 4: I honestly don't know if it's getting worse or you're
- 9:19Speaker 4: just getting more irritable. Like sometimes if you're having a
- 9:22Speaker 4: bad day, bad things just keep happening to you.
- 9:24Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 9:26Speaker 1: I wasn't having a bad day.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Just a bad life, I guess. She's about to have
- 9:30Speaker 5: a bad life.
- 9:32Speaker 6: Dang.
- 9:32Speaker 5: She's about to make you have a bad day, Kev.
- 9:35Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I think maybe there's something to what both of us
- 9:38Speaker 2: are saying.
- 9:38Speaker 6: I don't think so at all. I'm right. You're wrong.
- 9:41Speaker 1: People have lost their minds, and they need to understand
- 9:44Speaker 1: that there are other people in the world around them.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 9:47Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 9:48Speaker 4: It is just after 7 o'clock on this Thursday morning.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Ricky's got those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Rihanna said that she has 170 songs in the vault.
- 9:58Speaker 1: She hasn't released an album since 2016. Fans have been
- 10:02Speaker 1: waiting for her to drop some kind of music, an album.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It kind of comes as a surprise that she's got
- 10:07Speaker 1: so many just sitting locked away when everyone's been begging
- 10:11Speaker 1: for an album. Rihanna was on TikTok live yesterday for
- 10:14Speaker 1: her beauty brand Fenty when a fan asked her about
- 10:17Speaker 1: how many songs she had made. that she had never released.
- 10:20Speaker 1: So now fans are all wondering again if we will
- 10:23Speaker 1: ever get another Rihanna album ever again.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Now, she doesn't owe us anything, okay?
- 10:30Speaker 1: She's very busy. She's got kids. She's got a whole
- 10:33Speaker 1: empire that she is running. I understand that. But we
- 10:36Speaker 1: would very much, very much be pleased if we got
- 10:39Speaker 1: new music.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Here's one.
- 10:41Speaker 5: One of the 170.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I mean, I think we really want a full album.
- 10:46Speaker 1: But yes, beggars can't be choosers at this point, Kevin.
- 10:49Speaker 1: We got the dates for Cheekwood's Holiday Lights. Starting November 20th,
- 10:53Speaker 1: you can experience their winter wonderland with twinkling lights, a
- 10:57Speaker 1: holiday marketplace, and this year, the historic mansion is going
- 11:01Speaker 1: to feature new French-inspired holiday decor. It's been curated by
- 11:05Speaker 1: former White House chief floral designer, Laura Dowling. Cheekwood's Holiday
- 11:09Speaker 1: Lights runs through January 3rd. You can grab your tickets online.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It's a cute way to spend some time with the
- 11:15Speaker 1: family and get really into the holiday spirit. And Coca-Cola
- 11:19Speaker 1: has announced new flavors for 2027. Coca-Cola Cherry Lime is
- 11:23Speaker 1: coming in February. Coca-Cola Strawberry Float, I'm intrigued by that,
- 11:27Speaker 1: is releasing in the summer. Watermelon Zero Sugar and Lemon
- 11:33Speaker 1: Lime Zero Sugar Powerade are coming.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Mr.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Pibb Black Currant is coming. And Pineapple Coconut Topo Chico.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 11:43Speaker 1: need to know.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Appreciate you, Ricky.
- 11:44Speaker 4: We are going to talk about horror movies, your favorite
- 11:47Speaker 4: character from a horror movie.
- 11:48Speaker 1: It's spooky season.
- 11:49Speaker 5: In a little bit here.
- 11:51Speaker 4: But before we get there, right after Taylor Swift.
- 11:52Speaker 5: We are learning.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It is time for Zach's Facts, three minutes away on
- 11:56Speaker 2: The River.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Class is in session.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Zach's Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 12:03Speaker 6: On 107.5 The River.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Did you guys know that the Snickers candy bar was
- 12:07Speaker 5: named after a horse?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Mm-mm. Yeah.
- 12:10Speaker 5: So apparently the company founders, Frank and Ethel Mars, that
- 12:13Speaker 5: created Snickers and Mars candy, they had a beloved racehorse
- 12:17Speaker 5: that actually passed away just weeks before the candy bar
- 12:20Speaker 5: was launched in 1930. So then they decided to name
- 12:23Speaker 5: their new creation in his honor. So it was their
- 12:26Speaker 5: racehorse that they had at their Milky Way farm here
- 12:29Speaker 5: in Tennessee.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Wait, so, whoa, Milky Way Farm too? Milky Ways, okay,
- 12:34Speaker 1: there's a lot here.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:35Speaker 1: But I'm really confused where the name Snickers came from
- 12:39Speaker 1: for the horse to begin with.
- 12:40Speaker 5: They just named the horse Snickers, I don't know.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I'm just curious, you know, like who said, ah, Snickers, that's.
- 12:46Speaker 5: The perfect name.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Snicker means to laugh, right? Like a snicker is a laugh.
- 12:49Speaker 2: So it was a word already.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So do you think the horse laughed at them and.
- 12:54Speaker 2: They named it Snicker?
- 12:59Speaker 5: There's my best horse, Snicker. And there's your fact of
- 13:02Speaker 5: the day.
- 13:02Speaker 6: I think it's called a nay, but we'll.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Go with it.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 13:08Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River. It's spooky season, friends.
- 13:11Speaker 5: We want to know.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Who is your favorite spooky character?
- 13:15Speaker 1: I mean, you guys know my favorite spooky character.
- 13:17Speaker 5: I would say, what's his name? Ghostface. I couldn't think
- 13:21Speaker 5: of it.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Ghostface, yeah.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Wow, yes.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Ghostface, for sure.
- 13:24Speaker 5: I was going to say Screamface for some reason, but
- 13:26Speaker 5: that's not right.
- 13:27Speaker 6: Screamface, yes. That's who it is.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Ghostface is my favorite. I also, though, very much love
- 13:33Speaker 1: Oogie Boogie.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Ah, Nightmare Before Christmas.
- 13:36Speaker 6: Yeah, I like Oogie Boogie.
- 13:37Speaker 1: He's a weirdo.
- 13:40Speaker 4: I have one, but I feel like you're not going
- 13:42Speaker 4: to accept mine because it's not from a horror movie.
- 13:44Speaker 6: Okay, we'll save it. Because if we're going to argue,
- 13:47Speaker 6: we need more time.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I am the resident spooky gal in these parts. I
- 13:54Speaker 1: love Halloween season. I'm so happy that it's here. And
- 13:58Speaker 1: we're talking our favorite spooky stories. characters from scary movies.
- 14:03Speaker 1: It's Ricky Zaccomano in the morning on 107.5 The River.
- 14:06Speaker 6: I shared mine. It's Ghostface.
- 14:07Speaker 5: I love Ghostface.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Even though the franchise has sort of gone downhill?
- 14:12Speaker 1: We're not talking about the whole franchise. We're talking about
- 14:14Speaker 1: the first movie. I gotta watch the first movie every
- 14:17Speaker 1: Halloween season. I gotta watch Scream because it is my
- 14:20Speaker 1: favorite and I love Ghostface. It becomes part of my
- 14:22Speaker 1: costume every year. I also love Oogie Boogie, who's another classic.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I love Oogie Boogie. Why is he so like Cajun?
- 14:28Speaker 2: I've always wondered. Why did they make him like a.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I don't know, but I love him.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Okay.
- 14:33Speaker 6: Don't ask questions.
- 14:34Speaker 5: I like him too.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Now, Kevin, you said that you have a controversial favorite
- 14:37Speaker 1: spooky character from a horror movie because it's not actually
- 14:40Speaker 1: from a horror movie.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Well, I will say that my traditional answer would be
- 14:43Speaker 4: Michael Myers from Halloween.
- 14:44Speaker 5: I've always had a soft spot for Halloween.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It's AJ's favorite.
- 14:48Speaker 4: But really, if I had to think about it, I
- 14:50Speaker 4: would say, and this is not a horror movie, but
- 14:51Speaker 4: Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men.
- 14:54Speaker 5: That is not a horror movie. What did you just
- 14:57Speaker 5: say to me? It's Javier Bardem's character. Anton has sugar?
- 15:01Speaker 7: What?
- 15:01Speaker 2: His name is Anton Chigurh.
- 15:03Speaker 5: But he is the creepiest dude. He is a psychopath.
- 15:07Speaker 5: He is insane.
- 15:08Speaker 4: He carries around this air gun that shoots. I always
- 15:12Speaker 4: thought he would be a great horror villain. That's a
- 15:15Speaker 4: fantastic movie and a great character. So I'm going to
- 15:17Speaker 4: put him at the top of my list, even though
- 15:18Speaker 4: it's not a real horror movie.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Okay, you know what?
- 15:21Speaker 6: I'll accept it.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Okay, thank you.
- 15:23Speaker 1: You sold the fact that it's a very creepy character.
- 15:25Speaker 5: Oh, he's insane.
- 15:26Speaker 3: He's insane.
- 15:26Speaker 6: So I'll take it.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Zach, you don't watch movies much, let alone horror movies.
- 15:32Speaker 1: So I don't know who you'd even pick. Who's your
- 15:35Speaker 1: favorite spooky character?
- 15:36Speaker 5: Well, I don't watch scary movies, but I do have
- 15:38Speaker 5: somebody that scares me. It's Dr.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Phil.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Dr phil is who came to mind with this that
- 15:46Speaker 4: is a horror character to me dr phil i don't
- 15:51Speaker 4: know what it is.
- 15:52Speaker 5: About him he just makes me feel so uncomfortable and.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Scared that is not what i expected but if you
- 15:57Speaker 4: took my no country for old men answer we had
- 15:59Speaker 4: to take dr phil i.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Kind of i kind of yeah i can't go back
- 16:03Speaker 1: for that now That's something. If you have a favorite
- 16:07Speaker 1: spooky character from a horror movie, since the two of
- 16:10Speaker 1: these guys can't follow instruction.
- 16:11Speaker 5: I'm about to look it up. Has Dr.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Phil ever been in a horror movie? I think he
- 16:15Speaker 4: was in Scary Movie, right?
- 16:16Speaker 5: He was in, like, the.
- 16:17Speaker 1: That's not a horror movie.
- 16:18Speaker 6: That's a comedy.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Yeah, but he was still in it. He was in
- 16:21Speaker 5: Scary Movie 4.
- 16:22Speaker 3: See?
- 16:22Speaker 6: That's a comedy that's not a horror.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Movie mic drop he was kind of right though.
- 16:28Speaker 3: 615-737-9107 who is it for you ricky zach and mano
- 16:31Speaker 3: in the morning.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Very fittingly that song is called dracula it's 107.5 the
- 16:36Speaker 4: river we're talking about our favorite uh spooky characters from
- 16:39Speaker 4: horror movies we've got brandy on the line right now
- 16:42Speaker 4: brandy and fairview who is it for.
- 16:43Speaker 5: You Pennywise from It.
- 16:46Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a good one.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Just creepy, weird vibes.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Brandi, why is that your favorite?
- 16:52Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 16:53Speaker 7: I was so young when I was watching horror movies.
- 16:56Speaker 7: My grandmother introduced me, and it was the old Tim
- 16:59Speaker 7: Curry one.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Good call.
- 17:01Speaker 7: When a movie gives me nightmares the way that movie did,
- 17:05Speaker 7: and it sticks with you for the rest of your life,
- 17:07Speaker 7: and then you get older, and then the new one
- 17:10Speaker 7: comes out.
- 17:11Speaker 1: It does something to you.
- 17:12Speaker 7: But those, like I would close my eyes and see
- 17:15Speaker 7: him behind my eyelids.
- 17:16Speaker 5: It was crazy.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Oh my God.
- 17:17Speaker 1: That was Freddy Krueger for me.
- 17:19Speaker 6: Nightmare on Elm Street.
- 17:20Speaker 1: When I watched that as a kid, because we.
- 17:23Speaker 6: Made the mistake of telling my dad that.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Nothing can scare us.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Like we're big kids now.
- 17:28Speaker 6: And my dad was like, Oh, I'll scare you.
- 17:30Speaker 1: And we did a full day of horror movies of.
- 17:33Speaker 6: Like classic horror movies.
- 17:34Speaker 1: So we watched the exorcist and nightmare on Elm Street
- 17:37Speaker 1: and Halloween and all of those things. Freddy Krueger messed
- 17:41Speaker 1: me up for months.
- 17:42Speaker 4: This explains so much about Ricky Sanchez that she was
- 17:45Speaker 4: just exposed to all of this at.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Such a young age in one sitting.
- 17:51Speaker 4: But there is something about those early horror movies you
- 17:53Speaker 4: see as a kid that just imprint on you.
- 17:55Speaker 5: And that's a different thing.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Yes.
- 17:57Speaker 5: I just still don't comprehend why you say it's your favorite,
- 18:00Speaker 5: but yet it traumatized you and you had nightmares. Every
- 18:02Speaker 5: time you closed your eyes, you saw this evil character. Brandi,
- 18:06Speaker 5: do you enjoy being hurt?
- 18:10Speaker 7: It's the adrenaline. It's like a roller coaster, but movie form.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Okay. We like scary movies.
- 18:17Speaker 2: That's why all of us weirdos like them.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Thank you for calling and sharing with us.
- 18:22Speaker 5: You have a great day. You too.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 18:24Speaker 5: I'm really scared of all of you right now.
- 18:27Speaker 6: It's hard to explain. Unless you love horror movies, you
- 18:30Speaker 6: don't get like you wouldn't get it.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Zach said he wants to go see Other Mommy, that
- 18:34Speaker 4: new Jessica Chastain one.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Because I'm so excited to see it. I made him
- 18:38Speaker 1: watch the trailer and he got so freaked out. Goosebumps
- 18:40Speaker 1: all over his body that he's like, I have to
- 18:42Speaker 1: see it now.
- 18:43Speaker 5: I feel like the only way that I go is
- 18:44Speaker 5: if you go with me. I can hide your hair
- 18:47Speaker 5: if I get scared.
- 18:49Speaker 6: There's plenty of it.
- 18:51Speaker 4: We're playing Ricky's favorite game of all time next for
- 18:53Speaker 4: Teddy Swim's ticket.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Nickelback on 107.5 The River with Photograph, one of the
- 19:01Speaker 1: groups that is going to be at our 107.5 The
- 19:03Speaker 1: River Jingle Ball. We are so excited. If you haven't
- 19:05Speaker 1: grabbed your tickets yet, go to 107.5theriver.com.
- 19:08Speaker 6: Jody and O'Hickory, welcome.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Are you ready to play? What else does Teddy do
- 19:13Speaker 1: for Kevin.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Mano's game of the day? Damn.
- 19:16Speaker 5: Okay.
- 19:17Speaker 4: We all know that Teddy swims. So the question is,
- 19:20Speaker 4: what else does Teddy do? Teddy Swims is going to
- 19:22Speaker 4: be here on the 16th, coming up real soon at
- 19:25Speaker 4: Bridgestone Arena. If you win the game, Jody, you get
- 19:28Speaker 4: tickets to see him, okay?
- 19:29Speaker 3: Yes.
- 19:30Speaker 4: All right, you got to get two out of three
- 19:31Speaker 4: of these right. Again, it's a pretty easy game. I
- 19:34Speaker 4: have a good feeling about this. Two out of three,
- 19:35Speaker 4: and the tickets are yours. Jody and Ole Hickory, your
- 19:38Speaker 4: game starts right now.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Alrighty, let's do this. I like the attitude here.
- 19:44Speaker 4: What does Teddy do after using his teeth and jaw
- 19:48Speaker 4: to remove food from a fork?
- 19:52Speaker 5: Teddy chews. Yes, there we go. See, you're good at this.
- 19:56Speaker 5: You're good at this. You get this right, you win.
- 19:59Speaker 5: What does Teddy do at a wedding.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Reception when the DJ is playing nothing but bangers?
- 20:07Speaker 5: Teddy dances. Teddy dances.
- 20:10Speaker 3: To bangers.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Oh, my God. Congrats, Jodi.
- 20:15Speaker 3: You did it.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 20:17Speaker 5: It was so easy.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Way to go.
- 20:19Speaker 4: You're going to see Teddy swims.
- 20:21Speaker 5: You're going to dance at Bridgestone on the 16th. Way
- 20:23Speaker 5: to go.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Well, definitely.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Congrats.
- 20:26Speaker 6: Hang on the line, okay?
- 20:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Please don't ever, ever, ever say bangers ever again. There's
- 20:32Speaker 1: something about the way that you say these things that
- 20:35Speaker 1: just make them so uncool.
- 20:37Speaker 4: I disagree. I think that was really cool. We're going
- 20:39Speaker 4: to play again tomorrow for these tickets.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 20:43Speaker 5: All right, let's go.
- 20:44Speaker 4: And it's just after 8 o'clock. Ricky's got those three
- 20:46Speaker 4: things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 20:49Speaker 1: An update on Krista Pike. About a week ago, Krista
- 20:52Speaker 1: was given two doses of lethal injections as part of
- 20:55Speaker 1: her death penalty conviction that goes back to 1995. After
- 20:59Speaker 1: the Liesl injections didn't work, she was taken to the
- 21:01Speaker 1: hospital where she remained incapacitated on a ventilator while medical
- 21:06Speaker 1: staff worked to clear the drug from her system. Officials
- 21:09Speaker 1: are saying that she's the only person known to survive
- 21:12Speaker 1: a complete execution, even if she's not the only one
- 21:14Speaker 1: to experience a botched one. Now she is awake. She
- 21:18Speaker 1: is speaking a little bit, but her future is unclear.
- 21:21Speaker 1: She's got a long recovery ahead of her, and her
- 21:23Speaker 1: legal team is working on commuting her death sentence to
- 21:26Speaker 1: a life in prison without the option of parole. We'll
- 21:29Speaker 1: keep you updated on this. Olivia Rodrigo is opening up
- 21:33Speaker 1: about dating in the spotlight. There have been some recent
- 21:36Speaker 1: dating rumors floating around about her. Not the first time.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Probably won't be the last time, unfortunately. But she's setting
- 21:42Speaker 1: the record straight by sharing that she is single and
- 21:44Speaker 1: that the man at the center of all these rumors
- 21:47Speaker 1: was never her boyfriend and is not her boyfriend. They're
- 21:49Speaker 1: just friends. Olivia also says that the intense attention that
- 21:53Speaker 1: surrounds her private life is, quote, really invasive. especially when
- 21:58Speaker 1: casual dinners and outings turn into just fuel and online
- 22:01Speaker 1: speculation and a lot of criticism. I applaud her for
- 22:04Speaker 1: opening up about this because obviously being in the spotlight
- 22:07Speaker 1: cannot be easy. And a longevity doctor has shared his
- 22:12Speaker 1: 10 rules for aging better. I'm going to give you
- 22:14Speaker 1: his top three right now. Guard your attention. He says
- 22:18Speaker 1: it's important to be intentional about what you consume mentally,
- 22:22Speaker 1: especially if it's fear-based or negative.
- 22:24Speaker 6: He said, quote, what you think you become.
- 22:27Speaker 1: So that's a great note for when you are doom
- 22:30Speaker 1: scrolling on social media, when you are kind of getting
- 22:32Speaker 1: caught up in all the things happening all over the place.
- 22:35Speaker 1: It's always good to know what's happening, but it can
- 22:37Speaker 1: become a lot. And it can really take a mental
- 22:41Speaker 1: toll on you. Honor your sleep. It's the best time
- 22:45Speaker 1: for your body to recover. It's the time that your
- 22:47Speaker 1: brain resets. A recent study finds that the sweet spot
- 22:50Speaker 1: is six to eight hours of sleep per day, and
- 22:53Speaker 1: it's linked to healthier aging. The third one is move daily.
- 22:57Speaker 1: He recommends walking and squatting daily. His personal routine includes swimming, cycling,
- 23:02Speaker 1: and resistance work. All of these things are really important.
- 23:05Speaker 1: We are very used to just sitting at a desk,
- 23:08Speaker 1: sitting around. Getting up and moving is so, so important
- 23:11Speaker 1: for your health, and resistance training specifically and squatting, really,
- 23:15Speaker 1: really important. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three
- 23:18Speaker 1: things you need to know.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Good stuff.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Thank you, Ricky. Appreciate it. About an hour from now,
- 23:22Speaker 4: you can win $ 1, 000. We are paying your bills all
- 23:24Speaker 4: week long. 9-10 this morning, your first chance to win
- 23:27Speaker 4: a grand.
- 23:28Speaker 5: Be here. It's Ariana Grande on the river.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 23:32Speaker 6: I'm feeling sassy today, guys.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Oh, shocker.
- 23:35Speaker 6: I want to hand out some fines.
- 23:38Speaker 5: Okay, like give people tickets?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yep, I want to hand out some fines. Whoever's annoyed
- 23:42Speaker 1: you recently, they're getting fined today.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Not really.
- 23:46Speaker 4: You're not really fining us, are you? I say us
- 23:49Speaker 4: because I'm assuming I'm the receiving end of this annoyance.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Today you are not.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Oh, okay. Wow, Kev.
- 23:55Speaker 4: We're handing out tickets, not the good kind of tickets
- 23:57Speaker 4: that we normally hand out, the bad kind of tickets
- 23:59Speaker 4: because you annoyed us. Right after Olivia Rodrigo, Ricky will
- 24:03Speaker 4: tell us who is getting these fines today, these citations.
- 24:07Speaker 2: If you've annoyed her recently, I'm praying for you.
- 24:10Speaker 5: We're going to find out next. Watch out.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 24:15Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 24:16Speaker 5: Stupid song. That's the name of the song.
- 24:18Speaker 4: It's a great song. I'm not calling it stupid. It's
- 24:20Speaker 4: Olivia Rodrigo on The River. Ricky is feeling sassy today.
- 24:24Speaker 4: We've sort of known that all morning, but she's ready
- 24:26Speaker 4: to start handing out citations, fines, tickets, whatever you want
- 24:30Speaker 4: to call them. Not concert tickets. We're not giving those
- 24:32Speaker 4: out right now. We're giving out tickets because you're annoying.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes people annoy us and they deserve to be
- 24:38Speaker 1: fined for it. So I'm going to kick it off
- 24:40Speaker 1: with people who put their backpacks in the overhead bins
- 24:46Speaker 1: at any flight that you ever take. The backpacks go
- 24:50Speaker 1: underneath the seats, guys.
- 24:51Speaker 5: And they specifically tell you that?
- 24:53Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 24:54Speaker 1: But they continue to put them in the overhead so
- 24:56Speaker 1: that nobody can put their actual bags in the overhead.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Anybody who does that, find $ 1, 000.
- 25:00Speaker 6: Oh, that's a big one. That's how annoying it is.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Oh.
- 25:03Speaker 6: Well, because they're costing me money. They're costing me time.
- 25:06Speaker 6: They're costing me effort.
- 25:08Speaker 1: And then these poor, you know, people that are working
- 25:10Speaker 1: on the airplane, the flight attendants, they have to like
- 25:13Speaker 1: try and maneuver through and figure out who owns what
- 25:16Speaker 1: bag and yell at them to like take it down. It's,
- 25:19Speaker 1: So frustrating and so annoying.
- 25:21Speaker 6: Find $ 1, 000.
- 25:21Speaker 5: $ 1, 000, that's big. That's valid, though.
- 25:24Speaker 6: They're never going to do it again if you find
- 25:26Speaker 6: them $ 1, 000.
- 25:26Speaker 4: I'm going to go with, I want you to tell
- 25:28Speaker 4: me how much we're finding this person. The reply all
- 25:32Speaker 4: person on an email that does not need to be
- 25:35Speaker 4: replied all to.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Ooh, yeah, they kind of seem like they want a
- 25:39Speaker 1: little bit of attention, right, whenever they do that?
- 25:41Speaker 5: My favorite is, like, when it's an email from, like,
- 25:44Speaker 5: somebody in corporate or the boss, and it's like, reply
- 25:46Speaker 5: to me only, and they still hit reply all.
- 25:49Speaker 6: Okay, so here's the caveat.
- 25:50Speaker 1: The people who hit reply all and just do it
- 25:52Speaker 1: because they want attention, find $ 400. Okay. People who do
- 25:56Speaker 1: it after being told, just reply to me.
- 25:59Speaker 4: $ 4, 000. I was going to say $ 600, but we can.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Go with $ 4, 000 if that feels.
- 26:07Speaker 6: Like more of a proper fine for that.
- 26:10Speaker 1: It really doesn't make sense. You're not reading what the
- 26:13Speaker 1: email even says, and you're doing it that way. But yeah,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I would say I feel like $ 600 is reasonable in
- 26:18Speaker 1: that sense.
- 26:19Speaker 6: Zach, who do you want to find today?
- 26:20Speaker 5: I want to find our front desk receptionist here at work.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Matt?
- 26:25Speaker 5: Okay listen i love her so much and she's precious
- 26:28Speaker 5: but the elevators at work did not work the other
- 26:31Speaker 5: day and she never sent out an email did not
- 26:34Speaker 5: notify anybody so then i had to unknowingly walk up
- 26:37Speaker 5: the stairs to come into work because no one informed
- 26:40Speaker 5: me prior that the elevators were not working you have
- 26:43Speaker 5: one job I kind of want to find.
- 26:46Speaker 4: She's got more than one job. Her job is not
- 26:48Speaker 4: to send elevator emails.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Yes, it is.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I kind of want to find Zach for how rude
- 26:54Speaker 1: this is because Mal is the nicest person ever.
- 26:57Speaker 5: She's precious, but she didn't do part of her job duty.
- 27:00Speaker 1: $ 10.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Ten bucks.
- 27:03Speaker 6: She's fined $ 10.
- 27:04Speaker 5: And how much is Zach fined?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Zach, you're fined $ 100 for being mean and rude today, okay?
- 27:10Speaker 3: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 27:13Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River. Zach wanted you to have a
- 27:15Speaker 1: little bit of a pick-me-up today, so our Daily Double
- 27:17Speaker 1: Tap on 107.5 The River is just that.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I saw this video on Instagram, and I was like,
