- 3:16Speaker 9: Dog walk sending negative sending it a click farm of
- 3:21Speaker 9: trail farms.
- 3:22Speaker 10: Yeah too.
- 3:23Speaker 5: I didn't even know if that was a thing I
- 3:26Speaker 5: used to try and send. I tried one time. I
- 3:28Speaker 5: tried to get I tried to download an app to
- 3:30Speaker 5: send one of my friends like seven thousand text messages
- 3:35Speaker 5: at the same time to break his phone, but it
- 3:36Speaker 5: didn't work. I was also in like second grade when
- 3:40Speaker 5: I tried to do that. But anyways, welcome back to
- 3:48Speaker 5: the Son of a Boy Dad podcast.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Today.
- 3:51Speaker 5: It is July or August seventh, right today, dog seventh,
- 4:00Speaker 5: it's Wednesday. We are remote today for location differences. How
- 4:09Speaker 5: are we doing? Fellas I heard last episode, there was
- 4:11Speaker 5: a lot of theater talk.
- 4:14Speaker 11: Yeah, it's the most polarizing episode in the podcast history.
- 4:18Speaker 11: I got so many messages from people saying how much
- 4:20Speaker 11: fun they had singing along and being part of it,
- 4:23Speaker 11: and then a bunch of others that were like fuck.
- 4:25Speaker 5: You, Yeah, I saw most That's what I was getting.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Mostly people were mad at me.
- 4:31Speaker 11: Stop gaying up the podcast. What's your problem? I was like,
- 4:35Speaker 11: who talks like that in this day and age? Why
- 4:37Speaker 11: don't you find some music in your heart?
- 4:40Speaker 10: Well?
- 4:40Speaker 5: Gaying up? I haven't heard gag up in a while.
- 4:43Speaker 5: It's a fun one.
- 4:43Speaker 11: Those were my words. I use that to try to detoxify.
- 4:47Speaker 9: The I like that we I got to say something, Yeah,
- 4:54Speaker 9: that we that we're not big enough as a podcast
- 4:58Speaker 9: to have the level of hate that we get from
- 5:00Speaker 9: our own fans. It's very streme reserved for like huge podcasts, whereas, uh,
- 5:07Speaker 9: we'll get like just tons of negativity about our show.
- 5:11Speaker 10: But that's you say that ship for Burt Kreischer. Okay,
- 5:15Speaker 10: you leave us.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Out of that. Yeah, we get a lot of really
- 5:18Speaker 5: nasty feedback. And and like I went back the other
- 5:21Speaker 5: day and I was listening to old Matt and Chain
- 5:23Speaker 5: episodes on YouTube, and they all their comments from like
- 5:26Speaker 5: their old episodes are all like, man, you guys are
- 5:29Speaker 5: the greatest. You guys are the best, and our our
- 5:33Speaker 5: our comments are all like you guys suck. And I
- 5:35Speaker 5: actually don't even like any of you. It's very like
- 5:38Speaker 5: you don't you don't really expect that for Like I get,
- 5:40Speaker 5: like big podcasts people like hate listen to, but our
- 5:43Speaker 5: podcast we I think we have mostly hate watchers.
- 5:47Speaker 10: What the hell?
- 5:49Speaker 11: I will say that the response to my divorce announcement
- 5:53Speaker 11: was incredibly supportive, and people were very nice about that.
- 5:56Speaker 11: But then one episode later I started thinking, I'm feeling
- 6:00Speaker 11: relieved and happy and I like to sing some songs
- 6:03Speaker 11: with Rowan, my musical friend, and very quickly they were like,
- 6:06Speaker 11: fuck you, this is the reason your marriage ended.
- 6:09Speaker 5: More divorced talk people in the barstool community. I've noticed
- 6:14Speaker 5: that that when something bad happens to somebody, it's like
- 6:18Speaker 5: they get they get like super supportive, and then the
- 6:21Speaker 5: next day they're back to like this guy sucks, I
- 6:24Speaker 5: hate him.
- 6:25Speaker 10: Well, can cop dies? A cop dies?
- 6:28Speaker 5: And oh yeah, top Down's like that's like World War
- 6:31Speaker 5: three over at barstool. They're like people are taking work
- 6:34Speaker 5: off in the barstool.
- 6:36Speaker 9: At twenty billion shirts get sold, it changes the GDP
- 6:43Speaker 9: of like a small country changes hands, and uh then
- 6:47Speaker 9: everybody's like fucking salute. And then the next day they're
- 6:50Speaker 9: just back to like fat shaming our fattest boys. Yeah
- 6:55Speaker 9: it's not right. Let the fat boys be fat. You
- 6:57Speaker 9: gotta leave click farms out of it.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Honestly, bron, how many hours of sleep are you running
- 7:03Speaker 5: on right now? Like two and a half, So you
- 7:07Speaker 5: didn't sleep at all on the plane.
- 7:10Speaker 10: That's up. I don't know. I was. Yeah, maybe maybe
- 7:14Speaker 10: it was. It was not. It was not real sleep
- 7:16Speaker 10: on the plane, so maybe yeah, four and a half
- 7:18Speaker 10: total's red eye sleep.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Red eye sleep does not count as sleep.
- 7:24Speaker 10: No, it was.
- 7:27Speaker 11: I didn't sleep much either. I had an extremely late
- 7:30Speaker 11: spot at the cellar. What time I went on? I
- 7:33Speaker 11: went on at twelve fifty am on a Tuesday, on
- 7:40Speaker 11: a Tuesday, no less, Why were they so behind?
- 7:42Speaker 5: Was like someone big there.
- 7:44Speaker 11: No, I had a twelve twenty spot, and everything's always
- 7:47Speaker 11: you always go up half an hour later than this
- 7:49Speaker 11: actual spot.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't know the cellar late spots like that
- 7:53Speaker 5: on Tuesdays. That's crazy.
- 7:55Speaker 11: It's an eleven thirty show. Probably didn't start till you know,
- 7:59Speaker 11: mid night was after me. Yeah, it was really a
- 8:04Speaker 11: hot show. It was fucking amazing. That to me is
- 8:07Speaker 11: like the testament of New York. The fact that on
- 8:09Speaker 11: a Tuesday night people are at a comedy show at
- 8:14Speaker 11: one am that won't get out until two, they won't
- 8:20Speaker 11: get home till three, and they're not bothered.
- 8:23Speaker 3: They're having the time of their lives. Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 5: I think it really speaks to the amount of unemployed
- 8:27Speaker 5: people there are in New York City. Who's going to
- 8:32Speaker 5: a comedy show at two am on a Tuesday.
- 8:35Speaker 10: That's crazy people.
- 8:38Speaker 9: I think they're party animals, but it's really it's the
- 8:41Speaker 9: work from home crowd. Honestly, I just walked my dog
- 8:44Speaker 9: right before we started this show, and like half of
- 8:48Speaker 9: my building was like getting home from work just now
- 8:51Speaker 9: or like that. It's just like twelve thirty and they're
- 8:54Speaker 9: just like coming home and spanks and fucking workout gear
- 8:58Speaker 9: at leisure fucking or whatever.
- 9:01Speaker 10: Alo It's it's uh, it's bullshit. Honestly, get to your.
- 9:06Speaker 9: Fucking realized accounting job and fucking leave the fake work
- 9:09Speaker 9: to us people who are aspiring fucking bloggers.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Exact. The work from home stuff really did change, like
- 9:16Speaker 5: a lot of things, like anytime I go to the gym,
- 9:18Speaker 5: I'll go to the gym at like three pm, and
- 9:20Speaker 5: I'll be like, surely it's gonna be empty, packed to
- 9:23Speaker 5: the gills because no one works. Everyone's a podcaster. Everyone's
- 9:29Speaker 5: a podcaster these days.
- 9:33Speaker 10: It's a ridiculous. There's too many podcasters.
- 9:36Speaker 9: But you get a little bit of love from the uh,
- 9:39Speaker 9: do you get a little bit of love from being
- 9:41Speaker 9: a podcaster when you go back home or a people noticing
- 9:43Speaker 9: you more SaaS. Now maybe it's because your face changed
- 9:49Speaker 9: so much, because you have a grown man face now.
- 9:52Speaker 5: I do on the on this angle for some reason,
- 9:54Speaker 5: I got big grown man face. When me and Francis
- 9:56Speaker 5: connected earlier, before you got in the zoom, I was like, oh,
- 10:00Speaker 5: I gotta shave.
- 10:02Speaker 10: Yeah, you're getting it. You're getting full beard face.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:06Speaker 5: I always get that. And then and then I try
- 10:08Speaker 5: and grow it out, and somehow the hair starts like
- 10:11Speaker 5: thinning as time goes on. The thickest my beard ever
- 10:16Speaker 5: is is like three days after shaving, and then it
- 10:18Speaker 5: progressively gets less thick.
- 10:22Speaker 9: One time I ask my dad why he why he
- 10:23Speaker 9: doesn't like grow out of beard, and he was like,
- 10:26Speaker 9: I don't know, just because it would like probably look
- 10:28Speaker 9: like yours, Daddy.
- 10:34Speaker 5: You don't have a bad beard, though, you got a
- 10:36Speaker 5: pretty good beard.
- 10:38Speaker 10: I want to see Francis's.
- 10:40Speaker 5: I want to see Francis too. I think you gotta go,
- 10:43Speaker 5: like grow the hair out to your shoulders and then
- 10:46Speaker 5: get like a long beard. I think that would change.
- 10:50Speaker 3: What then? What then?
- 10:52Speaker 10: What do I do after that?
- 10:55Speaker 5: I don't know, but I think it would look sick
- 10:57Speaker 5: and I think it would honestly help with your ticket sales.
- 10:59Speaker 5: We'd be adding shows in Cleveland next weekend. Apparently there's
- 11:03Speaker 5: some sort of wizard of performing at Hilarities this weekend.
- 11:06Speaker 5: We got to go check them out.
- 11:08Speaker 11: Instead, we are at Hilarities Cleveland, uh, next weekend, and
- 11:12Speaker 11: you can get tickets for that at Little Sasquatch website
- 11:15Speaker 11: dot com.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Or Francis Ella's punchline slash live.
- 11:21Speaker 11: Jah, you don't want to cover that. I'm not gonna
- 11:25Speaker 11: lie around. That is exactly the reason when I grow
- 11:29Speaker 11: a beard. It rounds out the edges and makes me
- 11:32Speaker 11: look a little paunchy, and uh, I don't like it.
- 11:36Speaker 11: I like having an angular face. Yeah, facial structure. Have
- 11:43Speaker 11: you been doing this mewing thing? Yeah, I've been hearing
- 11:46Speaker 11: about that.
- 11:48Speaker 5: What is that the is that the thing that you chew?
- 11:52Speaker 9: Yeah, it's like some kind of like tongue on the mouth,
- 11:56Speaker 9: tongue on the roof of the mouth.
- 11:57Speaker 10: Exercise or something like that.
- 11:59Speaker 9: Or you can like something off an Instagram ad that'll
- 12:01Speaker 9: give you a giga works.
- 12:04Speaker 5: None of that stuff works, bro. I've been trying to
- 12:06Speaker 5: find my jawline for the last decade. At one point
- 12:11Speaker 5: I was just you did what you whiten your teeth?
- 12:15Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I was gonna say they were like blindingly white.
- 12:20Speaker 5: You look like Ross in that episode of Friends. You're
- 12:23Speaker 5: seeing that episode of Friends where he whitens his teeth
- 12:25Speaker 5: and then he goes over there and she has and
- 12:27Speaker 5: she has blue lights, so he smiles in his teeth
- 12:31Speaker 5: like neon white.
- 12:37Speaker 9: You should have let us know before you did that,
- 12:39Speaker 9: because now you just have Francis or you have Sass
- 12:42Speaker 9: and I looking like we're fucking lifetime smokers.
- 12:45Speaker 10: The fact that we don't come in with white teeth simultaneously.
- 12:49Speaker 10: It's fun.
- 12:50Speaker 11: You got some white teeth, brow and Sass's teeth. Look
- 12:55Speaker 11: they look, what's what's the jaundiced? They look jaundiced? Get
- 12:59Speaker 11: that man an apple?
- 13:01Speaker 10: What is your secret? What's your secret?
- 13:02Speaker 5: What'd you do?
- 13:03Speaker 3: Like you've been strapped to the Mizzen.
- 13:05Speaker 11: Mast eating attack, that's been you know, completely run.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Over by weavils.
- 13:14Speaker 10: What did you do holes in it?
- 13:16Speaker 5: What? What's your secret? Because I've done the strips and
- 13:18Speaker 5: they don't do anything.
- 13:19Speaker 3: It's not the strips. You gotta go, you gotta go.
- 13:22Speaker 5: You've definitely got one of those, like one of those
- 13:24Speaker 5: neon blue like contraptions that like straps into your head.
- 13:30Speaker 11: Oh you got that bro got the kids syringes and uh,
- 13:33Speaker 11: this is from the this is from the dentist.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I went into the dentist. They did a real one.
- 13:38Speaker 3: They did one.
- 13:39Speaker 11: They do one real serious baseline thing that really nukes
- 13:44Speaker 11: the But that was probably six months ago that I
- 13:48Speaker 11: did that, and they they they kind of fell apart
- 13:51Speaker 11: pretty quickly because I drink a lot of coffee, and
- 13:53Speaker 11: I think coffee really doesn't help.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I think that's the biggest problem for me.
- 13:58Speaker 5: So you're supposed to drink coffee out of it straw
- 14:00Speaker 5: to stop.
- 14:01Speaker 3: I do.
- 14:02Speaker 11: I do, but I like to taste so much that
- 14:04Speaker 11: I swish it around and undo the straw.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Yeah, swishing it around definitely isn't helping. I've never heard
- 14:11Speaker 5: of anyone.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I don't do that. I don't do that. I don't
- 14:13Speaker 3: do that.
- 14:14Speaker 11: But when I drink red wine. When I drink red wine,
- 14:16Speaker 11: I go, you know, I get a little bit in there.
- 14:20Speaker 5: No, you don't have to demonstrate that. I have a feeling.
- 14:23Speaker 5: I know what you're doing.
- 14:24Speaker 9: I want to see you, and I don't know it
- 14:25Speaker 9: exactly what he's doing. I think he needs to demonstrate.
- 14:28Speaker 11: When you so basically imagine that this beautiful body, body armor,
- 14:33Speaker 11: sport water is red wine. Call it a burgundy or
- 14:38Speaker 11: a pano, I mean maybe a Sangiovese. And I take
- 14:42Speaker 11: a step, matting some air. I'm er rating the wine.
- 14:50Speaker 5: I think this is the kind of this is the
- 14:52Speaker 5: kind of talk that people were trying to have me
- 14:54Speaker 5: come back to avoid together. This is a this is
- 15:01Speaker 5: all it was when I wasn't here was just I'm adding,
- 15:06Speaker 5: I'm adding some oxygen to the red wine.
- 15:10Speaker 3: You know who doesn't have white teeth or our trout? Boy?
- 15:16Speaker 3: I love trout man.
- 15:18Speaker 11: You ever see the teeth on a trout when the
- 15:20Speaker 11: hatches in bloom.
- 15:21Speaker 5: And trout don't really have teeth, they do.
- 15:26Speaker 3: They're small. You can't see him.
- 15:27Speaker 11: That's why they don't actually get to go to the
- 15:29Speaker 11: dentist to do their whitening.
- 15:31Speaker 5: I think brown trout actually might have small teeth. You
- 15:33Speaker 5: might be spot on about that.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Did you see that? Did you see that she caught
- 15:39Speaker 3: a canal bass?
- 15:40Speaker 5: I did? Yeah, those are rare, they are They're only
- 15:46Speaker 5: really they don't.
- 15:48Speaker 11: They have to wait until the person manning the canal
- 15:53Speaker 11: lifts the gate.
- 15:53Speaker 3: And then they can come in and they get trapped
- 15:55Speaker 3: and then they small.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Yeah exactly. I saw that a stripe. I got a
- 16:00Speaker 5: big stripe bass yesterday six in the morning.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Stripe bass. Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Wow, it was pretty sick.
- 16:07Speaker 10: Wait, looked at your home for a funeral.
- 16:10Speaker 5: I am, well, the funeral at Bass's on Monday, the
- 16:16Speaker 5: funeral for the bass. And then I was supposed to
- 16:18Speaker 5: fly out yesterday. But I woke up super early because
- 16:21Speaker 5: I went to bed at nine thirty on Monday because
- 16:23Speaker 5: I was so exhausted. And I woke up at five
- 16:25Speaker 5: thirty yesterday and I was like, I'm gonna go fishing.
- 16:27Speaker 5: And then I went fishing for fifteen minutes and I
- 16:30Speaker 5: caught a fish on the second cast, and then I
- 16:31Speaker 5: went home and then my flight got canceled.
- 16:35Speaker 11: These are the types of things that our audience doesn't
- 16:38Speaker 11: love to hear about. You're not in studio.
- 16:41Speaker 5: This is exactly what they want to hear, because I
- 16:43Speaker 5: know they're all sitting at home right now, going yead
- 16:45Speaker 5: I hope is on this Thursday episode. I don't know
- 16:47Speaker 5: what I'm gonna do.
- 16:48Speaker 11: If you know, we're all happy you're here. We're just
- 16:50Speaker 11: not sure why you're not with us.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Bro, You know why I'm not with you. I just told.
- 16:55Speaker 3: You you big fishing trip. Six in the morning, Stripe.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Put in a fishing trip.
- 16:59Speaker 10: I went.
- 17:01Speaker 5: I went a three minute walk away from my house
- 17:04Speaker 5: and went fishing.
- 17:04Speaker 11: I'm just gonna say it. I'm just gonna say it.
- 17:06Speaker 11: I've been to plenty of funerals. They never had a
- 17:08Speaker 11: bass fishing component to them. We didn't know, lay the
- 17:15Speaker 11: person to rest and then all head out on the
- 17:17Speaker 11: boat because that's what he would have.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Wanted us to do. Six Am never saw that happen.
- 17:21Speaker 5: They probably probably were.
- 17:23Speaker 9: The people were probably like, hey, why don't you guys
- 17:26Speaker 9: drop a line about why you love this guy so much?
- 17:29Speaker 9: And you're like, drop a line.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Got it.
- 17:36Speaker 10: Right to the river bed. There was a deathbed in
- 17:40Speaker 10: a river bed.
- 17:45Speaker 5: I actually didn't. I didn't post the picture of the
- 17:48Speaker 5: bass for that specific reason because there was a big fish.
- 17:54Speaker 5: It was a huge fish, and I didn't. I didn't
- 17:56Speaker 5: say anything about it because I was like, this is
- 17:58Speaker 5: going to get some I wanted to smart.
- 18:02Speaker 10: Can we see it now?
- 18:03Speaker 3: Well, at least nobody knows.
- 18:05Speaker 5: Yeah, thing was a tag, just a beauty oh beauty striper.
- 18:18Speaker 3: You know what's inmarras.
- 18:24Speaker 5: I sent that to I sent you guys, so you
- 18:27Speaker 5: guys know what a stripe passes like. Right off the top,
- 18:29Speaker 5: you guys knew what I was talking about. You guys
- 18:31Speaker 5: have both caught stripe pass of course. Yes, Brandon Walker,
- 18:37Speaker 5: big fisherman. I sent him a picture of it. He goes,
- 18:41Speaker 5: nice fish, and then I go I got it on
- 18:42Speaker 5: the second cast, and he goes, what is it? And
- 18:46Speaker 5: then he goes, is that a trout? Mm hmm, brand
- 18:50Speaker 5: I thought Brandon was supposed to be like a big fisher,
- 18:55Speaker 5: not the fisher we thought he was. Are you going standing?
- 18:58Speaker 3: He's just I'm gonna to be honest with you.
- 19:00Speaker 11: My chair is so uncomfortable that I'm I'm having real
- 19:03Speaker 11: spine pain.
- 19:04Speaker 5: So yeah, I'm honestly getting that right now too. I
- 19:06Speaker 5: might stand because I'm sitting in bed right now and
- 19:09Speaker 5: I'm extremely uncomfortable.
- 19:11Speaker 3: It's not great. I apologize, we should.
- 19:14Speaker 10: Actually I felt pretty good. I felt really good. But
- 19:17Speaker 10: I'm going to just join you guys from standing.
- 19:20Speaker 5: I don't really want to stand, but I will.
- 19:24Speaker 11: We're standing to honor the life of that bass whose
- 19:27Speaker 11: funeral you attended in lieu of the podcast.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Yeah, well, you guys, want to see a cool picture
- 19:36Speaker 3: I took.
- 19:37Speaker 5: I do yes, since we're doing pictures with the I
- 19:44Speaker 5: just saw the Pat BEV podcast.
- 19:46Speaker 10: Whoa good damn, that's a good picture.
- 19:52Speaker 5: Yeah, you took that photo.
- 19:56Speaker 10: That kind.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I took that in Rwanda.
- 20:02Speaker 5: It kind of looks like like a photo that you
- 20:04Speaker 5: would just like you bought the frame and that's the
- 20:06Speaker 5: photo that it came with. And I'm gonna tell everyone
- 20:09Speaker 5: I took this picture.
- 20:10Speaker 11: I saw that coming from a while away, saw that
- 20:13Speaker 11: joke coming from a long time, a long time off.
- 20:16Speaker 5: I don't like that you're standing. It's extremely uncomfortable. All right,
- 20:20Speaker 5: I'll sit back now.
- 20:21Speaker 3: I can't tell you.
- 20:23Speaker 11: My apartment is so small now that I don't even
- 20:25Speaker 11: have a dining table. I don't have rooms, so I
- 20:28Speaker 11: just sit in. I have to sit at the kitchen
- 20:31Speaker 11: counter in these high backed, high top barstool chairs.
- 20:35Speaker 5: Yeah, that chair and uncomfortable.
- 20:38Speaker 3: It's not great. It's not great, but I'll honor your wishes.
- 20:43Speaker 5: That's adults. That's a Delta lounge chair. A Delta lounge
- 20:47Speaker 5: They they don't like to get comfortable furniture. They like
- 20:50Speaker 5: to get just the most like obscure chairs that you're
- 20:53Speaker 5: like sliding off of and there's just ten There's ten
- 20:56Speaker 5: of them just in a one little area and they're
- 20:59Speaker 5: all I went to the Delta Lounge in Cincinnati, disgusting.
- 21:04Speaker 5: Stay away, go to the Amex Lounge. If you can do,
- 21:07Speaker 5: not go to the Delta Lounge.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Go to Centurion.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, I got I got rice. I got Mexican rice,
- 21:14Speaker 5: and it was like the spoon, but that you know,
- 21:17Speaker 5: so there's like the cup of the spoon. The cup
- 21:20Speaker 5: of the spoon is just covered in a layer of rice.
- 21:23Speaker 5: So you're scooping your rice with rice and then you
- 21:27Speaker 5: just it's just the most disgusting presentation I've ever seen
- 21:34Speaker 5: in adultsa lounge before. Delta is really taking a hit
- 21:36Speaker 5: right now.
- 21:38Speaker 10: Well you know why, Well two reasons?
- 21:40Speaker 9: Why why COVID COVID on the planes, just like Noah
- 21:44Speaker 9: Kahan said, no, but honestly, the one well, the one
- 21:50Speaker 9: reason is they're putting a lot of their resources into
- 21:52Speaker 9: Los Angeles because Los Angeles has ribs at their Delta Lounge.
- 21:58Speaker 9: Every other Delta lounge has exclusively chicken.
- 22:01Speaker 10: Except for Milwaukee has like hot dogs.
- 22:04Speaker 9: Everyone has the same chicken medallions. In La they're serving
- 22:09Speaker 9: ribs for like twenty four hours straight. You get incredible
- 22:14Speaker 9: Asian ribs. It's next level. So they're putting a lot
- 22:17Speaker 9: of resources into that. They're taking the resources out of See.
- 22:21Speaker 5: I believe the three sixty Lounge is in is in
- 22:23Speaker 5: la as well. Correct me if I'm wrong.
- 22:26Speaker 3: They have their own lounge the three sixties.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Yeah or no, maybe it's called the Delta Delta one.
- 22:32Speaker 11: Lounge, then one lounge and it's at JFK Goose.
- 22:37Speaker 5: I think there's one at LAX two. Correct me if
- 22:39Speaker 5: I'm wrong.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Could be I didn't.
- 22:41Speaker 9: I didn't find it there, but I did go to
- 22:43Speaker 9: the one at JFK, and oh my god, it's.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Fucking detail spill please Fellas.
- 22:53Speaker 9: You walk in and it's like you are taking a
- 22:56Speaker 9: moving walkway.
- 22:57Speaker 10: Into the future. All the noise of the airport.
- 23:01Speaker 9: Quiets and suddenly being in a regular Delta lounge is
- 23:05Speaker 9: like being in gen pop of the entire airport sparsely populated.
- 23:11Speaker 9: And I remember we had a debate are they just
- 23:14Speaker 9: giving you buffet food or are you able to get
- 23:19Speaker 9: served food? I think that it's I mean I went
- 23:21Speaker 9: in the morning. It's a hybrid. They definitely have a
- 23:24Speaker 9: full restaurant Michelin Star food, but also in the morning.
- 23:29Speaker 9: I think I got a caccio a pepe fritata in
- 23:33Speaker 9: the morning, avocado toast being prepared as you like it.
- 23:38Speaker 9: The spread was insane, and there was all of like
- 23:41Speaker 9: six people in there, and there was maybe twenty five
- 23:44Speaker 9: rooms in the bathroom, fresh eucalyptus hanging. You could schedule
- 23:49Speaker 9: all masage, about twenty five wine stations with about six
- 23:53Speaker 9: different variants. I saw Francis in the corner swishing around
- 23:57Speaker 9: Monte Porciano like it was or will be mouthwash.
- 24:01Speaker 10: It was absolutely insane. The future is here. It's the
- 24:06Speaker 10: Delta one Lounge at JFK.
- 24:08Speaker 5: That's beautiful, that's a great cell. Unfortunately I'm a United
- 24:12Speaker 5: Man these days. No, I'm actually I'm taking my talents
- 24:19Speaker 5: over to Frontier. Just an honest an honest airline. Frontier
- 24:26Speaker 5: will tell you. Frontier will tell you how it is.
- 24:28Speaker 5: You show up at the gate and they go, this
- 24:29Speaker 5: plane is most likely not taking off Delta. They like
- 24:32Speaker 5: to really, they like to really lead you on and
- 24:36Speaker 5: they go, we're just going to delay it another hour,
- 24:38Speaker 5: and you go, okay, it's the fifth time you guys
- 24:41Speaker 5: have done that. Though, and they go, don't worry about it,
- 24:43Speaker 5: it's all going to be handled, and then they cancel
- 24:45Speaker 5: it out of nowhere.
- 24:48Speaker 11: I've flown Frontier one time and it was to Denver
- 24:52Speaker 11: back to New York and I arrived in line and
- 24:55Speaker 11: I had a bag to check because I.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Was, Oh, it's going to be an extra two hundred.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 11: I arrived in the baggage line an hour and a
- 25:03Speaker 11: half before the flight, and the line was long, and
- 25:06Speaker 11: I waited in the line and waited and waited, and
- 25:09Speaker 11: it got to one hour and I was the next
- 25:14Speaker 11: person in line, and I got to the counter and
- 25:16Speaker 11: they said, we have closed to the baggage for the airplane.
- 25:22Speaker 11: You needed to be here more than an hour in advance.
- 25:24Speaker 11: And I said, I've been in line since an hour
- 25:28Speaker 11: and a half before, and they go, we don't know
- 25:29Speaker 11: what to tell you.
- 25:30Speaker 3: That's our policy.
- 25:31Speaker 10: Sorry.
- 25:31Speaker 3: And I didn't change flights.
- 25:34Speaker 5: They don't care at all. They don't play by the rules.
- 25:37Speaker 5: I flew Frontier once and it was from North Carolina
- 25:39Speaker 5: so Philly for another funeral that I had to attend,
- 25:42Speaker 5: and dude, I was fishing at that one. Amazing they dude,
- 25:46Speaker 5: they closed, they closed the jet bridge. They closed it
- 25:51Speaker 5: five minutes after we started boarding, and there were people
- 25:54Speaker 5: outside and they were like, sorry, sheould try it. Should
- 25:58Speaker 5: have ran onto the plane, dude. You know how, Like
- 26:00Speaker 5: the rule is they don't close the door until fifteen
- 26:03Speaker 5: minutes before takeoff. This lady she's got her husband on
- 26:07Speaker 5: her way and she's like, he's on his way. We're
- 26:10Speaker 5: forty five minutes before takeoff, and they're like, we're closing
- 26:12Speaker 5: it down. They're like, most of us are here, we're
- 26:14Speaker 5: just going to take off. It was insane.
- 26:18Speaker 9: They rely on people rebooking. That's half of their economy.
- 26:21Speaker 9: Is like making it impossible for someone to get on
- 26:23Speaker 9: the flight so they have to get a second ticket
- 26:26Speaker 9: that they pay out of.
- 26:27Speaker 10: Pocket for because it's completely their fault.
- 26:29Speaker 9: But those airlines, Spirit, Frontier, even south West in some ways, right,
- 26:36Speaker 9: they're meritocracies. They're like they're the most American airlines because
- 26:42Speaker 9: you can rumble basically for your spot. You have to
- 26:46Speaker 9: fight a big ass security lady at the front desk.
- 26:50Speaker 9: You have to muscle your way for your seat. But
- 26:52Speaker 9: nothing is given to you. Everything is earned on these airlines.
- 26:55Speaker 9: It's not some fucking.
- 26:57Speaker 5: I Like, it's kind of like of like an every
- 27:00Speaker 5: man for himself mentality survival and yeah, exactly.
- 27:04Speaker 6: M hm.
- 27:05Speaker 5: You know, I like I like boarding the plane and
- 27:09Speaker 5: it's kind of like when you were like boarding a
- 27:10Speaker 5: school bus and you're like, where am I gonna sit?
- 27:13Speaker 5: You're looking around you a fresh kid.
- 27:16Speaker 9: Yeah, every you have to like run to the back
- 27:18Speaker 9: of the plane and run back to the front, and
- 27:19Speaker 9: everybody yea to punch you one time.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Yeah, it's nice, it's great. There's always empty seats. Everyone
- 27:24Speaker 5: pretty much gets their own row on Frontier. Yeah, Frontier
- 27:29Speaker 5: is the green one, right, Yeah, it's the worst. I
- 27:33Speaker 5: think spirits better than Frontier. Southwest is way better than both.
- 27:38Speaker 9: But Spirit you have to you have to fight someone.
- 27:40Speaker 9: Or is that only on the flights to Florida that
- 27:42Speaker 9: you have to fight someone to get onto a Spirit flight?
- 27:44Speaker 5: I think that's just Florida.
- 27:47Speaker 9: It's a flight onto Florida where there's an insane brawl
- 27:51Speaker 9: of like six ladies just weaves flying everywhere.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Just flying to Florida is crazy.
- 27:59Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 28:00Speaker 5: I flew to Florida in the in the height of
- 28:02Speaker 5: the pandemic. We got we landed in Florida. People were
- 28:05Speaker 5: ripping their masks in half as we landed, I swear
- 28:10Speaker 5: to God fire. Yeah, it was insane. It was like
- 28:12Speaker 5: everyone looked around, it's all just ripping them off.
- 28:17Speaker 9: I remember when I got to Florida during the pandemic.
- 28:21Speaker 9: I got off the plane and dudes were throwing their
- 28:24Speaker 9: masks up into.
- 28:25Speaker 10: The air and just shooting them out of the air.
- 28:32Speaker 9: Everybody throws their masks up like a high school graduation,
- 28:36Speaker 9: everybody knowing they're shitting to the air.
- 28:38Speaker 10: Wait, what state just banned masks? Didn't the state just
- 28:41Speaker 10: banned masks.
- 28:42Speaker 5: I saw that. I don't know if that was real, though.
- 28:46Speaker 5: I'm getting caught up in the misinformation like crazy. My
- 28:49Speaker 5: dad works in Wisconsin and he went to the Green
- 28:54Speaker 5: Bay Stadium like he like got to tour it. And
- 28:57Speaker 5: I was texting him. I'm like, you know they're you know,
- 28:59Speaker 5: they're making it. You're allowed to smoke cigarettes and weed
- 29:02Speaker 5: at the stadium this year. And He's like, no way,
- 29:04Speaker 5: and I'm gonna swear to God. And then I looked
- 29:06Speaker 5: it up and it was like, this was not true.
- 29:08Speaker 5: This was a tweet that someone just made up completely.
- 29:10Speaker 5: I've been going around telling people that for the last
- 29:12Speaker 5: six months that you can see.
- 29:13Speaker 9: We talked about on the pod. People were invited us there. Yeah, come,
- 29:17Speaker 9: we got blunts on us.
- 29:18Speaker 5: Yeah, they were like, no, it's not in no way
- 29:20Speaker 5: is that allowed?
- 29:22Speaker 10: What That's bullshit.
- 29:24Speaker 9: I'm getting caught up in the misinformation too, dude. I'm
- 29:27Speaker 9: so fucking mad about that boxer.
- 29:30Speaker 5: Oh furious. I haven't slept in weeks. That's why I
- 29:34Speaker 5: got this like this grown man face, because I've just
- 29:37Speaker 5: been tossing and turning at night, going.
- 29:40Speaker 6: She's a man, dude, looks like a lady.
- 29:49Speaker 5: I'm so passionate about world wide box women's boxing and swim.
- 29:55Speaker 10: Runs throughout two things I've always cared about them.
- 29:59Speaker 3: I've always cared about He knows me.
- 30:01Speaker 9: Anybody that knows me deep down knows that that's always
- 30:03Speaker 9: been a talking point that I don't go a day
- 30:06Speaker 9: or two without talking.
- 30:07Speaker 10: About that ship.
- 30:08Speaker 9: And I'm finally welcome the rest of the world to
- 30:11Speaker 9: the discourse. The seat's warm because I've been fucking keeping
- 30:14Speaker 9: it hot for you guys.
- 30:15Speaker 5: Exactly. They're destroying the sport that I once loved.
- 30:22Speaker 10: They're robbing us from women's boxing.
- 30:25Speaker 9: Meanwhile, literally at Rough and Rowdy, we have the able
- 30:28Speaker 9: brothers against a trans person.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we literally do both of the brothers against
- 30:34Speaker 5: one trans.
- 30:36Speaker 10: That would be sick. They saved that shit for Russia.
- 30:39Speaker 9: One of them's going against mikey Bets and one of
- 30:41Speaker 9: them is going against a trans person.
- 30:43Speaker 5: I didn't know mikey Bets was trans.
- 30:48Speaker 9: Wait until Frank finds out. He's gonna be steaming mad.
- 30:54Speaker 5: He's gonna be calling Dugs in from Florida. Get your
- 30:57Speaker 5: ass to New York. Now.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Dougs is.
- 31:06Speaker 9: Running up the fucking coastline and five steps. Dougs is
- 31:11Speaker 9: a uh deceptive as a fat guy in a different
- 31:14Speaker 9: way than Frank Is. Frank is deceptively short for a
- 31:18Speaker 9: big guy, and Dougs is deceptively tall.
- 31:22Speaker 5: Is like seven feet tall. He is a giant.
- 31:29Speaker 9: He played the ball that rolls after Indiana Jones in
- 31:34Speaker 9: the Oh Shit, Saz, don't do it to us, bro
- 31:42Speaker 9: fish Finders.
- 31:44Speaker 5: The these are the chromo pop Smiths. I don't know
- 31:46Speaker 5: if he's are familiar with the new tech really high fans,
- 31:49Speaker 5: the Greens and the Reds in any weather.
- 31:52Speaker 9: Francis don't smile well sas has goes on, it'll literally
- 31:55Speaker 9: blind him.
- 31:56Speaker 10: No.
- 31:57Speaker 11: I mean, look, they're they're the perfect U funeral fishing
- 32:00Speaker 11: hybrid because they're nice and dark and they have a
- 32:04Speaker 11: tear catching ridge on the bottom in which you can
- 32:08Speaker 11: roll right into, wetting your lines.
- 32:12Speaker 5: I wore these in the car. I wore these in
- 32:15Speaker 5: the car to the funeral and my parents, my family
- 32:17Speaker 5: take them off. No, yeah, my family men, and they
- 32:20Speaker 5: take them off. They said they looked like they said
- 32:21Speaker 5: they said they look like I got them at CVS
- 32:23Speaker 5: and I was like, I spent these are two hundred dollars.
- 32:26Speaker 5: I got absolutely robbed from these though. I got about
- 32:29Speaker 5: a fly shop in Denver. I went in to get
- 32:31Speaker 5: one fly and then I left buying two hundred dollars sunglasses.
- 32:38Speaker 5: I know they look a lot darker on the zoom
- 32:40Speaker 5: than they do in real life. They're pretty normal sunglasses.
- 32:45Speaker 5: They looked like men in black sunglasses on the camera.
- 32:48Speaker 9: Yeah, they're perfect funeral sunglasses, like Francis is saying, though
- 32:52Speaker 9: you can't.
- 32:52Speaker 10: Yeah, they got the ridge for the for the tears.
- 32:55Speaker 9: And also you could spot the shimmering rainbow of a
- 32:58Speaker 9: trout in the fucking bottom of a river bed. You
- 33:02Speaker 9: can hear you can see the catfish in their hole
- 33:04Speaker 9: with those absolute beauties.
- 33:07Speaker 5: Hey, what's going on there?
- 33:08Speaker 10: Pal. We saw you the hockey game Mark.
- 33:10Speaker 9: I know you, guys.
- 33:11Speaker 10: I'm Ryan Whitney.
- 33:11Speaker 5: I got a drink named after me, A big dude,
- 33:14Speaker 5: Pink Whitney. That's what I thought. See you, fellas, I
- 33:18Speaker 5: invented the thing you pigeoned Pink Whitney for legendary moments.
- 33:22Speaker 5: So I've been I've been flying like all week, and
- 33:24Speaker 5: I've been getting delayed all week. So I got I
- 33:27Speaker 5: got a ten hour delay on Thursday going to Cincinnati.
- 33:30Speaker 5: I got a five hour delay coming back to Boston,
- 33:33Speaker 5: and then my flight got canceled yesterday, and so I'm
- 33:36Speaker 5: five hours into the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.
- 33:38Speaker 5: I don't know if he's a familiar book on tape,
- 33:42Speaker 5: book on tape, very interesting reads.
- 33:48Speaker 3: I'm not gonna let you call it or read. I'm
- 33:50Speaker 3: not gonna let you.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Well, I know I am reading. I'm reading it and
- 33:53Speaker 5: listening to it. I got it on my kindle because
- 33:55Speaker 5: I can't focus, so I have very bad ad D
- 33:58Speaker 5: so I have to I read it while listening to it.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Well, are you serious?
- 34:03Speaker 5: Yes? You, I swear to God, I have my kindle
- 34:08Speaker 5: right now.
- 34:09Speaker 11: It sounds like you're learning to read that sounds like
- 34:14Speaker 11: an exercise that would help you learn to read correctly.
- 34:20Speaker 10: Show us where you are in the book on your kindle.
- 34:22Speaker 5: I will right now, because.
- 34:24Speaker 10: I'll show you where I am.
- 34:26Speaker 5: I think I'm like two percent in. Oh wow, you're
- 34:28Speaker 5: a big chunk in. All right, we're going to get demonetized.
- 34:33Speaker 5: Get that off the screen.
- 34:35Speaker 3: What are you both reading this? Am I supposed to
- 34:38Speaker 3: start reading this?
- 34:40Speaker 5: I kind of thought that we're doing a book club
- 34:42Speaker 5: type book club.
- 34:44Speaker 3: I didn't hear about this.
- 34:45Speaker 11: This must have been the one episode I missed because
- 34:47Speaker 11: I was I was working for barstool, and so I
- 34:51Speaker 11: couldn't make the episode.
- 34:52Speaker 5: No, we definitely talked about it last time you were
- 34:54Speaker 5: on time we were all together. Yeah, we talked about
- 34:58Speaker 5: it briefly.
- 34:59Speaker 11: I remember talking about it, but I didn't I didn't
- 35:01Speaker 11: hear any sort of invitation to purchase The Rise of Well.
- 35:04Speaker 5: When we last talked about it, I said that I
- 35:06Speaker 5: was going to read it, and it was eighteen hundred pages.
- 35:09Speaker 5: So I pivoted to a book about the Cold War.
- 35:11Speaker 5: But then when I boarded my flight to Cincinnati, I
- 35:14Speaker 5: went to pull it up on audible. Turns out I
- 35:16Speaker 5: never even downloaded the Cold War book, but the Rise
- 35:18Speaker 5: and Fall of the Third Ride fully downloaded, pressed by dude.
- 35:22Speaker 5: I was like an hour into that book, and I
- 35:25Speaker 5: was like, man, this is pretty boring. This is pretty slow.
- 35:28Speaker 5: And then it was like turned out, I was just
- 35:30Speaker 5: listening to the forward for an hour straight. It's like
- 35:38Speaker 5: all about like the journalist who wrote the book. I
- 35:41Speaker 5: was like, why, I don't care about any of this.
- 35:44Speaker 11: This book is the culmination of years of research. It
- 35:47Speaker 11: was painstakingly fact checked. When this book starts, you will
- 35:52Speaker 11: find two hours later.
- 35:55Speaker 5: I just hear chapter one.
- 35:57Speaker 9: No, I thought it was her learning. It is insane.
- 36:03Speaker 9: It's like Dune. How like the first hour of Dune
- 36:06Speaker 9: is just like a boring slog. People are like, no,
- 36:08Speaker 9: you have to get to the second hour and a
- 36:10Speaker 9: half of Doone to be able to enjoy the entire thing.
- 36:14Speaker 10: Didn't get to page six eighty seven.
- 36:16Speaker 9: It's they're they're just talking about Hitler's Hitler not answering
- 36:20Speaker 9: Mussolini's letter on January third, and it says it filled
- 36:24Speaker 9: the deuce with mourning, with mounting annoyance.
- 36:27Speaker 10: It was a very very juicy time.
- 36:31Speaker 5: I just got where I'm at right now. There the
- 36:33Speaker 5: beer hall pooch.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Mm hmmm, which.
- 36:37Speaker 5: Is pretty interesting. I don't know what any of.
- 36:39Speaker 3: It to the pooch pooch.
- 36:43Speaker 9: Yeah, well that's where that's where he got arrested, right, Yeah.
- 36:46Speaker 11: Yeah, you're going to jail after that, because that was
- 36:48Speaker 11: his effort to.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Take over rebellion.
- 36:51Speaker 5: I think he tried to overthrow the government and it backfired.
- 36:54Speaker 11: But it was too soon, too soon, Adolf, and then
- 36:57Speaker 11: he went to prison. No spoiler, no spoilers, mind comm no.
- 37:02Speaker 9: His his prison time was like the dream they like
- 37:05Speaker 9: wheeled in a flat screen TV and just had unlimited
- 37:09Speaker 9: freedo's for him.
- 37:10Speaker 5: Yeah, he was just so he wrote mind comp in prison.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Yeah he did.
- 37:17Speaker 11: He he kind of had the opposite experience of Edward
- 37:20Speaker 11: Norton's character in American History Acts.
- 37:24Speaker 5: I never saw that movie, to be fully honest, it's unbelievable.
- 37:29Speaker 5: I watched the first two minutes where he that's just
- 37:33Speaker 5: where he curb stomps that dude, and then I was like, yeah,
- 37:37Speaker 5: this is really for me.
- 37:38Speaker 10: You probably to cover your eyes.
- 37:40Speaker 5: It was pretty gruesome.
- 37:41Speaker 11: Does curb stomping necessarily kill somebody?
- 37:45Speaker 3: I've always wondered that.
- 37:47Speaker 5: No, not unless you stop him hard enough. But it
- 37:50Speaker 5: definitely hurts a lot.
- 37:52Speaker 11: Oh yeah, well because they do it in uh the Sopranos,
- 37:56Speaker 11: he does it.
- 37:57Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a very old school move. You have to
- 38:00Speaker 5: know a lot of dudes are getting not a lot
- 38:01Speaker 5: of dudes are getting curb stomped these days.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Well, you also keep your face there, you know about
- 38:07Speaker 3: curb stomping. I feel like this is part of your
- 38:09Speaker 3: world somehow. I don't know why.
- 38:11Speaker 10: Yes, how many guts intimately familiar?
- 38:15Speaker 9: I mean, right, only like two or three, but like
- 38:19Speaker 9: in general, just like attempts, it's like closer.
- 38:23Speaker 10: To twelve to fifteen.
- 38:24Speaker 9: But I mean there's the one where you hold the
- 38:26Speaker 9: arms all the way back and then you slam the head.
- 38:29Speaker 9: The pure curb stomp is you hear the teeth scraping
- 38:32Speaker 9: along the curb.
- 38:33Speaker 10: But that's almost impossible to get someone.
- 38:35Speaker 9: To stay in that position. It's almost like, yeah, they
- 38:38Speaker 9: curve strike best.
- 38:41Speaker 11: You know, so many people who are curb stomped. I
- 38:45Speaker 11: never understood why they willingly opened their mouth and put
- 38:49Speaker 11: it on the curb.
- 38:51Speaker 10: And stayed there as the guy draws his split up.
- 38:53Speaker 9: Because if you just roll to the side, like you know,
- 38:58Speaker 9: a stripe bass kind of uh, it's it's almost like
- 39:01Speaker 9: you can completely avoid that, the death part of it.
- 39:05Speaker 5: But then and all on the jaw on the temple
- 39:10Speaker 5: that francis the last last episode you were to your temples.
- 39:15Speaker 5: Your temples were all You're worried about your temple, and
- 39:17Speaker 5: now you're willing to get the temple.
- 39:20Speaker 11: I just spent half an hour whitening my teeth, and
- 39:23Speaker 11: what I'm gonna not roll over and let my temple
- 39:26Speaker 11: take the brunt of the boot.
- 39:28Speaker 5: That's true. No, you're you want to do is damage
- 39:31Speaker 5: those pearly whites.
- 39:33Speaker 3: I don't tell you. I don't see any temple whitening.
- 39:37Speaker 5: That'd be hilarious. You're getting jumped and you were like,
- 39:40Speaker 5: can't you guys just like bash my head in or
- 39:42Speaker 5: something like please not the whites. I just I just
- 39:45Speaker 5: got these done. Shave my head or something.
- 39:49Speaker 9: If you got like stopped out in the parking lot,
- 39:51Speaker 9: it would literally look like the lines between the parking spaces.
- 39:55Speaker 9: It's just it's literally that white look like the lines.
- 40:00Speaker 11: You guys the story you both heard my story about
- 40:04Speaker 11: the time I got beat up and the guy put
- 40:05Speaker 11: the mouth guard in. Yes, I think it was like
- 40:08Speaker 11: the scariest thing that someone can do well.
- 40:11Speaker 5: Maybe maybe he had had some bad run ins and
- 40:15Speaker 5: he was expecting, like, you're a pretty big guy. Maybe
- 40:16Speaker 5: he was like, this guy's gonna whoop me pretty bad,
- 40:19Speaker 5: and he's probably gonna curb stop me. So I'm just
- 40:20Speaker 5: gonna throw the mouth garden and ahead of time, just
- 40:22Speaker 5: in case I get stopped.
- 40:25Speaker 11: Imagine you sneak a mouth guarden right when someone's setting
- 40:28Speaker 11: up to curb stomp you, and it just bounces their
- 40:30Speaker 11: foot off.
- 40:37Speaker 3: It could happen like an air.
- 40:39Speaker 10: Bag for the mouth.
- 40:43Speaker 9: That's what we should sell mouth air bags in case
- 40:45Speaker 9: you're in like a high pressure situation. If you're traveling
- 40:48Speaker 9: to Venezuela and might get curb stumped, or the Central
- 40:51Speaker 9: or a Times Square or something like that, you're worried
- 40:53Speaker 9: about getting curb stumped, you just have some some kind
- 40:56Speaker 9: of last minute go ahead, go ahead.
- 40:59Speaker 5: No No, I thought Times Square and I thought you
- 41:01Speaker 5: were talking about Central Park. I was going to bring
- 41:02Speaker 5: up that RFK video.
- 41:05Speaker 10: What was the bear?
- 41:10Speaker 5: One of the most.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Show the bear? It truly is the most one of the.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Most insane stories I've ever.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Heard in the clear. No one had ever traced that
- 41:21Speaker 3: story to him. Why would he ever tell.
- 41:23Speaker 5: That when they when they like the story was crazy already,
- 41:27Speaker 5: what's the story?
- 41:28Speaker 10: What's the story?
- 41:30Speaker 11: Rewind RFK was on a he was talking to Roseanne
- 41:35Speaker 11: bar and there was a story that happened many, many
- 41:38Speaker 11: years ago where in Central Park they found a dead
- 41:44Speaker 11: bear cup and it was lying kind of partially hidden
- 41:51Speaker 11: by bushes under an old bicycle, and so it looked
- 41:55Speaker 11: like the bear had been hit by a bicycle, the
- 41:58Speaker 11: person had fled, and the bear was dead.
- 42:01Speaker 5: Well, I don't think I don't think anyone actually believed
- 42:04Speaker 5: the bicycle part though, right.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Is that true? I didn't see that detail.
- 42:09Speaker 5: I think in the news story they were like, it
- 42:11Speaker 5: was this is just clearly animal abuse.
- 42:13Speaker 11: Like no one's well, they had no answers. They nobody knew,
- 42:16Speaker 11: nobody knew anything. And what had actually happened is that
- 42:20Speaker 11: Robert Kennedy Junior was up in the Hudson Valley and
- 42:24Speaker 11: he came across a bear cub that had been hit
- 42:27Speaker 11: by a car and killed, and he stopped to pull
- 42:31Speaker 11: over because he thought, well that looks pretty pretty tasty.
- 42:37Speaker 11: I want to skin this bear cub for the meat.
- 42:40Speaker 11: And he put it in his car and then he
- 42:42Speaker 11: somehow like he had a day, he had a busy day,
- 42:46Speaker 11: so we went to I guess he went to Central
- 42:50Speaker 11: Park and.
- 42:52Speaker 5: He went like he like had he like had like
- 42:54Speaker 5: a meeting in the city, so he had to go
- 42:56Speaker 5: into the city. And then he like had a dinner
- 42:57Speaker 5: and he was like, oh, I got to go to
- 42:59Speaker 5: this dinner and all this while it's happening, he has
- 43:00Speaker 5: a dead bear cub in the back of his car.
- 43:02Speaker 5: And then like his day just kept on getting like
- 43:05Speaker 5: extended too long, and he had a flight to catch
- 43:07Speaker 5: and he was like, I'm not going to be able
- 43:08Speaker 5: to go back upstate and skin this bear. So he
- 43:11Speaker 5: went to Central Park and he dropped the bear off
- 43:14Speaker 5: and he's like, let me think, okay, there's been a
- 43:16Speaker 5: string of bike accidents in Central Park. So he took
- 43:19Speaker 5: a bike, he pulled, he planted the bear in Central Park,
- 43:23Speaker 5: found a bike, put the bike on top of the bear,
- 43:25Speaker 5: and then just like flew off to some other city.
- 43:29Speaker 5: And there was like there was like an investigation because
- 43:32Speaker 5: they were like, what's going on, and no one ever knew.
- 43:34Speaker 11: Why to fill this interview, why is there a bear
- 43:37Speaker 11: cub in Central Park? Like they had zoologists and people
- 43:41Speaker 11: coming in trying to figure out what happened.
- 43:44Speaker 3: And nobody knew. Nobody knew for years.
- 43:47Speaker 5: Until it was already okay, what dude? The crazy part story.
- 43:53Speaker 5: I think the craziest part about that story. I don't
- 43:55Speaker 5: think it's even like the wanting to keep the bear,
- 43:58Speaker 5: cause I get like, that's legal in a lot of states.
- 44:00Speaker 5: It's like you can keep roadkill, so like, that's not
- 44:02Speaker 5: even that crazy to me. The craziest thing is being like, like,
- 44:05Speaker 5: all right, I gotta think what should I do? All right,
- 44:08Speaker 5: there's been a string of bike accidents. I'm gonna stage
- 44:10Speaker 5: a bear murder, like a bear manslaughter with this bike,
- 44:15Speaker 5: like an established politician being like, I'm gonna, all right,
- 44:19Speaker 5: what do I like do throw it in the Hudson?
- 44:21Speaker 5: Do anything else other than that? That's a crazy idea.
- 44:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's so much work involved.
- 44:27Speaker 11: And if he's if he's caught doing it, he's toast
- 44:33Speaker 11: because no one's gonna believe that he didn't hit the
- 44:36Speaker 11: bear with his car yea or something.
- 44:40Speaker 5: And they're also gonna be like, why do you have
- 44:41Speaker 5: this rotting bear in your car for the last ten hours?
- 44:47Speaker 5: What the fuck?
- 44:48Speaker 3: Why?
- 44:49Speaker 9: Why would anybody even conceivably believe that a bicycle could
- 44:54Speaker 9: kill a bear.
- 44:55Speaker 5: Well, it was a pretty small bear, it was a cub.
- 44:59Speaker 10: Doesn't matter, dude. A bicycle couldn't kill like a fucking
- 45:02Speaker 10: I've seen rats.
- 45:03Speaker 9: Survive getting it run over by a bicycle, like just
- 45:07Speaker 9: turn into a speed bump, dude. Bicycles are not fucking
- 45:10Speaker 9: killing people. And it's like a string of bicycle accidents.
- 45:14Speaker 9: It's not like there's like mosquitos going around or something
- 45:18Speaker 9: like that. Like bicycle accidents don't happen in serialized ways
- 45:22Speaker 9: where it's like, yeah, it's just I guess they're on
- 45:24Speaker 9: the loose, Like these fucking bikes are just running rampant
- 45:27Speaker 9: through the city.
- 45:28Speaker 5: That's there's no pattern in bicycle accidents.
- 45:34Speaker 9: Oh yeah, it's been happening around here. Bikes have been
- 45:36Speaker 9: crashing like crazy, like it's the happening. Like it's like
- 45:40Speaker 9: bikes are just like taking a mind of their own
- 45:42Speaker 9: and running into the fucking bears that are around. I
- 45:46Speaker 9: don't think that if you disassembled a bicycle and fucking
- 45:50Speaker 9: sheared it down into shives, that you could kill a
- 45:53Speaker 9: bear with a bicycle. Bears are like some of the
- 45:57Speaker 9: most rough and tumble animals. Dude, they're even like a
- 45:59Speaker 9: tiny bear will fuck you up.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:01Speaker 5: I want to try and find the photo of the bear.
- 46:07Speaker 10: What the hell is wrong with this dude?
- 46:11Speaker 11: I just can't understand why he would tell the story.
- 46:15Speaker 11: That's the part I don't really.
- 46:16Speaker 5: It's definitely just been weighing on him for the last decade.
- 46:20Speaker 9: That's why he ran for president so he could get
- 46:22Speaker 9: enough publicity to unburden himself of this horrible story of
- 46:26Speaker 9: this dead bear.
- 46:27Speaker 10: Cup.
- 46:28Speaker 5: He hears him posing with the bear before dumping it
- 46:31Speaker 5: in Central Park.
- 46:33Speaker 3: So he was old.
- 46:35Speaker 5: Yeah, So I don't think this was that I don't
- 46:37Speaker 5: think this was that long.
- 46:38Speaker 3: I think he's I think he's been old forever. Dude.
- 46:43Speaker 5: Excuse's little like they have the bear in a body bag,
- 46:46Speaker 5: like there was a full investigation and it was RFK
- 46:49Speaker 5: that did it.
- 46:51Speaker 9: What they have fucking park rangers with wide brimmed hats
- 46:56Speaker 9: coming to investigate this.
- 46:58Speaker 10: They said a perimeter.
- 47:00Speaker 5: Do you think he's gonna uh get in legal trouble?
- 47:06Speaker 11: No, no statute of limitations have passed. But it's not
- 47:10Speaker 11: gonna be good for him.
- 47:13Speaker 5: No, it's not gonna be good.
- 47:14Speaker 3: It's just weird. It's a weird story.
- 47:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a very bizarre thing to just like be like,
- 47:21Speaker 5: you know what, that reminds me of.
- 47:25Speaker 9: Ten years back. What was everybody talking was that? What
- 47:28Speaker 9: were they riffing about on Roseanne podcast? It wasn't even
- 47:32Speaker 9: a podcast.
- 47:32Speaker 5: It was like an interview or it was like it
- 47:35Speaker 5: just like a like a vlog or something. I don't
- 47:37Speaker 5: know what it was. I'm glad you haven't seen it.
- 47:41Speaker 9: I guess I saw people talking about it, but I
- 47:43Speaker 9: thought it was that stupid fucking show with the bear,
- 47:47Speaker 9: that non comedy show that just is.
- 47:50Speaker 5: Like I thought it was a comedy show.
- 47:53Speaker 10: It's supposed to be.
- 47:54Speaker 9: It gets nominated for every for a comedy for all
- 47:57Speaker 9: the comedy Awards, and.
- 47:58Speaker 10: Then I fucking watch it.
- 48:00Speaker 9: I don't laugh once, and everyone's like, yeah, but it
- 48:02Speaker 9: gives you so much anxiety, And then it also doesn't
- 48:04Speaker 9: give me anxiety. It's just the perfect show to go
- 48:07Speaker 9: on my phone during.
- 48:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I never watched it. Everyone tells me to watch it,
- 48:12Speaker 5: and I say, I don't really feel like watching people
- 48:15Speaker 5: do a stressful job, Like why would I want to,
- 48:18Speaker 5: Like I've worked in restaurants before, why would I want
- 48:20Speaker 5: to just like simulate that for two seasons straight.
- 48:24Speaker 9: Yeah, and they're also like super successful, but they're like
- 48:26Speaker 9: trying to make it now or some shit.
- 48:28Speaker 10: It's like, dude, pick pick one.
- 48:30Speaker 5: Ohways, the restaurant I hit.
- 48:33Speaker 10: I think so because like, was it Stephen?
- 48:35Speaker 3: I watched the Bear? I like the Bear?
- 48:38Speaker 5: Was he? No? Yeah?
- 48:40Speaker 10: Actually there's a there's a picture of it. There's a
- 48:43Speaker 10: picture or like as an extra, who wow, chay.
- 48:49Speaker 11: Check Casey Smith. Casey Smith was in an episode of Succession.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Yeah, at the Kendall's party.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 48:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that is pretty cool.
- 48:59Speaker 3: He gives to be honest with you. I like the Bear.
- 49:03Speaker 5: I'm sure it's great. I feel like we probably can't
- 49:05Speaker 5: really be ragging on it too hard when we've never
- 49:08Speaker 5: seen it.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Hm.
- 49:12Speaker 10: I watched like maybe.
- 49:15Speaker 9: No, but I needed to see your mouth so I
- 49:17Speaker 9: could see when you're about to talk. I couldn't just
- 49:20Speaker 9: do with your eyes. I couldn't do the Jeff ne
- 49:22Speaker 9: Do angle that you were just trying to hit you with.
- 49:26Speaker 5: That's why I tilted the camera down.
- 49:27Speaker 3: Bro.
- 49:27Speaker 5: I'm pretty posted up right now, very relaxed.
- 49:31Speaker 10: Look at those uh, look at those pillow covers.
- 49:35Speaker 5: Yeah, this isn't really my room. It's like a guest bedroom.
- 49:37Speaker 5: I don't really have a room that's ninety You guys.
- 49:39Speaker 3: Have a bedroom at your house that must be nice.
- 49:42Speaker 5: Well, it's my room, but it's like, there's nothing really
- 49:46Speaker 5: in my room because we moved right when I left.
- 49:50Speaker 10: M Where were your parents like when they moved? What
- 49:53Speaker 10: did they say?
- 49:55Speaker 5: A bunch of nonsense?
- 49:57Speaker 10: They didn't have like one line that they said.
- 50:00Speaker 5: Now, what are you trying to expose my jokes?
- 50:05Speaker 3: Bro?
- 50:07Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm trying to expose your jokes.
- 50:11Speaker 5: It makes if it makes you feel any better, that
- 50:13Speaker 5: never even happened. So sham. That's just what it's like
- 50:18Speaker 5: being a genius writer, creative thinker.
- 50:20Speaker 3: So much for so much for truth in comedy.
- 50:23Speaker 5: I know, right, it is funny when I do that.
- 50:26Speaker 5: I do that joke and people are like, oh my god,
- 50:29Speaker 5: and then I have to be like the way, it's
- 50:30Speaker 5: not true?
- 50:32Speaker 3: You know?
- 50:33Speaker 11: Was that the late show at the stand last night?
- 50:36Speaker 11: Was the guy I think his name is Sug Sug
- 50:39Speaker 11: Sugary No, uh, the guy who does the sandwich reviews
- 50:44Speaker 11: and says take care of brush your hair.
- 50:49Speaker 10: That guy I don't know, Shug Shure.
- 50:53Speaker 3: He's really great. I like that guy. A lot. He's
- 50:55Speaker 3: really funny.
- 50:56Speaker 5: Sugar the Sandwich Man, I.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Don't know if that's his name. Let me look him up.
- 51:01Speaker 10: He's from the show where he did the show with Marty.
- 51:04Speaker 9: Is that the guy you're talking about, the guy who
- 51:07Speaker 9: he needs to do some mewing?
- 51:08Speaker 10: You know what I'm talking about?
- 51:10Speaker 3: Chew geen shoo geen.
- 51:12Speaker 10: Yes, yes, the cujeene.
- 51:14Speaker 11: Meals meals by cooche cooge cooche.
- 51:18Speaker 10: Yes, yes, I know who you're talking.
- 51:21Speaker 9: Yeah, that's another uh, that's another Jeff ay Do word.
- 51:26Speaker 10: It's Italian for cousin cujean. I believe I could Jean.
- 51:35Speaker 11: He's really funny, but he wasn't performing. He said he
- 51:40Speaker 11: could never, so he's scared.
- 51:44Speaker 5: I haven't seen your dog. I haven't seen your dog
- 51:47Speaker 5: since she was like one week old.
- 51:49Speaker 3: She's huge, it's.
- 51:51Speaker 5: Massive, she's fifty pounds now, she's crazed.
- 51:55Speaker 10: Yeah, she has to stop growing. Josie here on the podcast.
- 52:00Speaker 5: What if she gets like overwhelming, What if she gets
- 52:02Speaker 5: like Clifford the big red dog sizes and you guys
- 52:05Speaker 5: gotta like move apartments. You're like, we can't, we got
- 52:08Speaker 5: you guys gotta get her her own unit. And you're building.
- 52:11Speaker 9: What if what if she's like bathe the Blue Ox
- 52:15Speaker 9: and she's just like legendarily big, the size of mountains.
- 52:20Speaker 9: I just have to fucking walk alongside her with my axe.
- 52:24Speaker 10: She just like.
- 52:25Speaker 9: Trampling through the city and everybody thinks there's another earthquake,
- 52:28Speaker 9: but it's really just Josie's fat ass walking through.
- 52:32Speaker 5: They should recreate like a modern version of Clifford. Did
- 52:36Speaker 5: you guys ever watch Clifford or were you guys too
- 52:38Speaker 5: old for that? Of course.
- 52:40Speaker 10: Like the fifties.
- 52:42Speaker 5: Yeah, that's one that definitely came out of really that
- 52:44Speaker 5: came out like in World War Two? Probably, Oh yeah,
- 52:46Speaker 5: because wasn't Cliford supposed to be like a result or No,
- 52:48Speaker 5: that's SpongeBob. It's like a result of like nuclear war.
- 52:51Speaker 9: Bikini Bottom, Yeah, that's Bikini Bottom is a real place.
- 52:57Speaker 5: They should make a modern version of Clifford for like
- 52:59Speaker 5: adults and show what would actually happen if there was
- 53:01Speaker 5: a dog that size.
- 53:04Speaker 9: RFK Junior would just be throwing bikes into it.
- 53:07Speaker 5: Yeah, it would be like locked in like a desert
- 53:10Speaker 5: in like the in like Nevada, and there'd be like
- 53:14Speaker 5: under like twenty four hour military surveillance.
- 53:18Speaker 11: When when we needed it to fight off something bad,
- 53:22Speaker 11: but the rest of the time we'd hate it and
- 53:24Speaker 11: fear it.
- 53:25Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, big transformers.
- 53:27Speaker 11: Why are the taxpayers paying for the amount of dog
- 53:30Speaker 11: food this goddamn beasts and jests.
- 53:34Speaker 5: We need to have a conversation about Clifford. This country
- 53:41Speaker 5: has a Clifford problem.
- 53:43Speaker 10: The Iran.
- 53:45Speaker 9: Iran starts like sending missiles. They're like, all right, we
- 53:48Speaker 9: need to send Clifford over to the Middle East. You
- 53:53Speaker 9: got to send Clifford to Tehran.
- 53:56Speaker 11: Some some secretary of war is like, well, I have
- 53:58Speaker 11: a solution, but you're not gonna like it.
- 54:00Speaker 9: Yeah, we just said Clifford to It's like Godzilla verse
- 54:06Speaker 9: kingcom Yeah, Clifford is sent against some big bear.
- 54:11Speaker 5: They would say that, they would say that they got
- 54:13Speaker 5: Clifford's newtered, but it would turn out it was a lie.
- 54:17Speaker 9: That's Clifford too, because Clifford. Uh, like, Clifford dies at
- 54:21Speaker 9: the end of Clifford One. But like, little did we
- 54:23Speaker 9: know that Clifford had size with like a regular size
- 54:26Speaker 9: Clifford had sex with a regular size Pomeranian And.
- 54:29Speaker 5: Just don't you think don't you think you'd be pissed
- 54:32Speaker 5: if you got a dog, Like you went and you
- 54:33Speaker 5: got a dog, and you were like, I think we're
- 54:35Speaker 5: like in a financially stable enough place to be able
- 54:39Speaker 5: to like swing a bag of dog food every week.
- 54:43Speaker 5: And then all of a sudden, your dog just keeps
- 54:45Speaker 5: growing and you're like, all all of a sudden, we
- 54:46Speaker 5: need to get a separate house for the dog.
- 54:50Speaker 10: You're like this like stern for.
- 54:52Speaker 12: Yeah, it's like, wait, he's eating like fifteen pigs a week,
- 54:59Speaker 12: Like how the feed rats to snakes, Like you have
- 55:02Speaker 12: to feed a live pig.
- 55:04Speaker 10: To your massive dog just so they can get their
- 55:06Speaker 10: pork intake.
- 55:08Speaker 11: Hey, I thought that the farmers get together at the
- 55:11Speaker 11: town hall meeting and they're like, I'm tired of this
- 55:13Speaker 11: fucking dog jumping over my fence six cattle, six heads.
- 55:18Speaker 9: And you think you're good with just like a little
- 55:25Speaker 9: like baggies to pick up the dog ship. And then
- 55:27Speaker 9: you have to get a full septic tank size trash bag.
- 55:36Speaker 5: Cliff. You gotta get a forklift to lift the turns
- 55:39Speaker 5: off the ground.
- 55:40Speaker 9: It's like the Jurassic Park. You're like sticking your arm
- 55:42Speaker 9: fully inside of it.
- 55:45Speaker 5: The good that was a good riff, That one good
- 55:52Speaker 5: rift three way rift.
- 55:55Speaker 9: That's tough on on on the delay or on the
- 56:00Speaker 9: because the microphone jumps from one to the other. Stuff
- 56:03Speaker 9: to rift. That good like this man them that good?
- 56:07Speaker 9: Since fucking pod Save America season.
- 56:09Speaker 11: One, Yeah, I think I think once, uh, once fishing
- 56:15Speaker 11: season is over and people stop passing away, you know,
- 56:19Speaker 11: we should be back in studio.
- 56:20Speaker 10: Once death season's over. Well we should be good.
- 56:24Speaker 5: Well, we should be back in studio on Monday. And brother,
- 56:29Speaker 5: tell your fishing season hasn't even peaked yet.
- 56:32Speaker 3: No, what's the height of fishing season?
- 56:35Speaker 5: Spring? For me, fishing season has definitely peaked. But the
- 56:41Speaker 5: fall is great too, Like September through November is pretty solid.
- 56:48Speaker 9: Fellas, I'm pretty excited. I added it and uh, we've
- 56:51Speaker 9: added another leaf to my couch.
- 56:54Speaker 5: So, uh, it's a pretty big couch.
- 56:57Speaker 10: No, now, it's like a full on you. It's like
- 57:00Speaker 10: you see it.
- 57:01Speaker 5: Or you don't want to expose how massive your living
- 57:04Speaker 5: room is.
- 57:05Speaker 10: I mean, you wouldn't even be able to see the
- 57:06Speaker 10: far end of the wall.
- 57:11Speaker 5: The mac camera is not good enough, oh my lord.
- 57:15Speaker 10: And so it comes in a full of you like
- 57:18Speaker 10: one of.
- 57:19Speaker 5: This is that an original van go in the background,
- 57:24Speaker 5: it's a Carvaggio, You dumb ass.
- 57:27Speaker 9: But uh uh, I need you boys over here for
- 57:31Speaker 9: fish or for a football season. I need to have
- 57:34Speaker 9: a fat order of wings or something like that. Sass,
- 57:37Speaker 9: Can you please please can you commit?
- 57:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'll definitely go in for ball.
- 57:45Speaker 5: You should just come over to come over to my place.
- 57:50Speaker 5: I'm getting the I'm getting my fireplace. Oh very nice, Frances.
- 57:56Speaker 9: Look at that eye on you Look at the balance
- 57:58Speaker 9: of that. It's like a Georgia O'Keefe.
- 58:00Speaker 5: You took that photo, Francis, Yes, on what.
- 58:07Speaker 11: You can rent really sick cameras, like when you go
- 58:12Speaker 11: do Safari, And so I just borrowed a really good
- 58:15Speaker 11: one with a huge telephoto lens.
- 58:17Speaker 5: Oh I didn't know that. That's pretty sick.
- 58:19Speaker 3: I mean I.
- 58:19Speaker 11: Probably I watched that rhino for an hour and a
- 58:22Speaker 11: half with it. There was actually a cub with it.
- 58:24Speaker 11: I don't know if they're called cubs, baby whatever, And
- 58:29Speaker 11: I must have taken a hundred photos of it, and
- 58:31Speaker 11: that was the best one. So then I got it
- 58:33Speaker 11: blown up and I like the.
- 58:36Speaker 3: Way it looks.
- 58:37Speaker 5: Where'd you get it blown up?
- 58:38Speaker 3: Hang somemcing framebridge, m M good.
- 58:43Speaker 9: We need to we need to compare Africa photos because
- 58:47Speaker 9: I really I also got a long telephoto lens, but
- 58:50Speaker 9: I really tried to zoom in on the eye of
- 58:54Speaker 9: the animal to try to humanize them, to see if
- 58:57Speaker 9: I could capture some emotion.
- 58:59Speaker 10: It's really differing techniques.
- 59:01Speaker 9: Whereas you captured the balance of the landscape, nature and beast,
- 59:07Speaker 9: whereas I tried to capture some some emotion. And uh,
- 59:11Speaker 9: we really need to exchange notes, sas this is the
- 59:15Speaker 9: kind of ship you missed out on last episode.
- 59:17Speaker 10: It was fucking incredible duet, pretty funny.
- 59:22Speaker 3: Talk about Africa is making think, making me think.
- 59:32Speaker 5: Check out these photos. I mean that's talk about nine.
- 59:39Speaker 3: That actually is a lovely photo.
- 59:43Speaker 10: That is very nice.
- 59:44Speaker 5: Launch.
- 59:46Speaker 9: I can't show Josie though she would probably fucking jump
- 59:49Speaker 9: through the screen and fucking eat that ship live.
- 59:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Wow, look at those clouds. Amazing beautiful.
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: Just someone who hears the music.
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: That's a purey, that's pure cumulo nimbus. You're not wearing pants, brother.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: No, I'm wearing pants shorts.
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: If we catch you in tidy whities podcasting and but
- 1:00:13Speaker 9: we have to but people have to wait fifty eight
- 1:00:15Speaker 9: minutes to find out that you're Rocking Tidies.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: If my laptop tilted and I was just completely naked
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: from the waist down, like my balls are just like
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: hanging off of my legs, would you think, what do
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: you think? Do you think that would like mess with
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: the chemistry of the podcast If that happened, I think.
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: I'd be like, thank God, he's that comfortable around us
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: that he can just have his balls wrapped around his legs,
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: his long balls wrapped around like a cobra slithering up
- 1:00:46Speaker 9: a staff, like the universal symbol for a hospital. Just
- 1:00:50Speaker 9: your skinny ass legs with a fucking ball wrapped around it.
- 1:00:53Speaker 10: It would be like the.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: Bad Grandpa long balls. That's what I have, the ones
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: that hang.
- 1:00:59Speaker 11: Out sure that you I like to picture that. You know,
- 1:01:02Speaker 11: in a in a hard hurricane, you could lash lash
- 1:01:07Speaker 11: yourself to a post with them, much like how cowboys
- 1:01:12Speaker 11: would when they would pull up a horse to a saloon.
- 1:01:15Speaker 11: They wouldn't tie the rope around the banister. They would
- 1:01:18Speaker 11: just sort of loop it a few times. You could
- 1:01:20Speaker 11: toss it around a couple of times the hurricane.
- 1:01:23Speaker 10: He'd be floating during the hurricane like.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah him. Did you guys ever read Timothy of
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: the k.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: The ka sounds very familiar, though I don't know book.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: It was like a young adult book.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: Anyway, never mind, Oh no, please.
- 1:01:49Speaker 11: Well there's no point in making the Basically, Uh, there's
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: a kid. They get in a shipwreck because they get attacked,
- 1:01:57Speaker 11: and some rich white kid ends up in a lifeboat
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: I think with a guy and he the two of
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: them become friends and the kid goes blind. So Timothy,
- 1:02:11Speaker 11: who's I think Barbadian or Jamaican or something, ends up
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: teaching them. They get they end up on an island
- 1:02:18Speaker 11: and uh, there's a hurricane and Timothy uses his body
- 1:02:22Speaker 11: to shield the boy from the hurricane and they're lashed
- 1:02:25Speaker 11: to a palm tree.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: That's why I made the reference.
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: Very apropos, very what I was.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Thinking of story?
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: Did I say, Did I say it was very apropos
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: for you ron or was there a delay? I think
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: I think I said that first.
- 1:02:44Speaker 10: I definitely said it first. You know, you sounded like
- 1:02:47Speaker 10: my little echo. I felt like I was in a cave.
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: No, I think that was me.
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: I think very apropos, very apropos, very apropos, because I'm
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: trying to get more.
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: That's one of my most common words. Exactly I'm trying
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: to get more into throwing apropos round.
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean it's like, what was it just greekifying
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: the word appropriate?
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: Yeah, pretty much with a.
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: Soft os, very soft os.
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: And I'm not talking about Max's latest operating system, which
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: is trash, which is a very very trash operating system.
- 1:03:29Speaker 10: I'll tell you the boys that much.
- 1:03:31Speaker 9: I watched the latest Guy Ritchie movie on the flight
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: out to Los Angeles.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Oh, Ministry of und GENTLEMANI Warfare.
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: Yes, Oh, I thought you were gonna say, really good
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: the other one.
- 1:03:43Speaker 10: No, I already watched that. That that Gillenhall one.
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: Is why is so Guy Richie's just churning out war movies?
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: Just bangers? Dude just knows what he's doing.
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: I saw six It was like sixty six or sixty
- 1:03:56Speaker 9: nine percent on Rotten Tomatoes. I was like, no, no, no,
- 1:03:59Speaker 9: you guys don't know. I know this is gonna be
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: an enjoyable rump And sure enough, it's a war movie. Basically,
- 1:04:06Speaker 9: it's just, uh, it's a lot of inglorious bastards in there.
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: To be honest, similar characters, similar look, similar feels, similar music,
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: But it's a war movie where not one of the
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: good guys dies and all of the bad guys die.
- 1:04:26Speaker 10: It's fucking perfect.
- 1:04:29Speaker 9: There's no emotional downturn or something like that. You don't
- 1:04:33Speaker 9: get tugged at your heart string because somebody is you know,
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: one of the characters you have an emotional attachment to
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: is lost in the middle of the movie.
- 1:04:41Speaker 10: It's just pure fucking carnage. Richie knew what we needed.
- 1:04:45Speaker 9: And it was this true story and that's the main
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: character of it. Is who James Bond is based on.
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: M really fun a really fun rump. I think it
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: was Ian Fleming A fucking was he general in Her
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: Majesty's Army.
- 1:05:05Speaker 11: I don't know that would surprise me, only because I've
- 1:05:08Speaker 11: been to his house in Jamaica. It's pretty fucking sweet.
- 1:05:14Speaker 11: All of the James Bond novels. Yeah, that's what they bonded.
- 1:05:20Speaker 10: Pirate K is from. Isn't that where? Isn't that in Jamaica?
- 1:05:25Speaker 11: It is talking in Jamaica, Oh, Timothy of the K.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I don't know where it was.
- 1:05:32Speaker 11: I mean the island that they got shipwrecked on was
- 1:05:35Speaker 11: they didn't know, they didn't know where they were.
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: I think I just thought it was funny as I
- 1:05:41Speaker 9: was watching that movie. How deep they got into, uh,
- 1:05:45Speaker 9: into England's moral opposition to the war when it was
- 1:05:52Speaker 9: like almost the height the height of like English colonialism,
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: which were like World War two, mm hmm, like, uh,
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: the Nazis.
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: Were wars Always Sonny Continue, Have you ever seen that
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: episode of Always Sonny. No, you're saying there's two wars.
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: I've done that like ten times on the podcast.
- 1:06:34Speaker 9: Yes, I know, I know Glenn Howardson does a podcast
- 1:06:36Speaker 9: or some ship like that.
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a banger, classic, gotta love that show.
- 1:06:42Speaker 10: Yep facts all of a sudden, he's incredible.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: Well, good try round. You almost got it that.
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: I didn't think I was gonna derail the entire story.
- 1:06:54Speaker 11: It's just tough when we're remote, you know, it's tougher
- 1:06:57Speaker 11: to get back on track.
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: For me, it was basically, the Nazis are trying to
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: colonize all of Europe, and England's like, that's absolutely reprehensible. Meanwhile,
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: England literally has colonies, had like colonies on like every
- 1:07:14Speaker 9: continent that existed.
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: Yeah, rules for the not for me, a bit of.
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: Little a little bit of egg on their face, a
- 1:07:25Speaker 9: bit of uh you know, uh.
- 1:07:29Speaker 10: Yeah, rules for the not for me, it was one
- 1:07:31Speaker 10: way to say it.
- 1:07:32Speaker 11: Are they saying Were they saying that they had an
- 1:07:35Speaker 11: issue with Germany taking over Poland and Belgium as colonies?
- 1:07:43Speaker 9: I think, well, I mean, I don't think that that's
- 1:07:45Speaker 9: why they were saying that they had a problem with it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 9: But that's Germany was doing the same thing that they
- 1:07:51Speaker 9: had done in India.
- 1:07:54Speaker 10: Or a lot of African.
- 1:07:58Speaker 9: Or like Caribbean nations. Like British imperialism knows no bounce sass.
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: But yeah, and the rise and fall of the Third
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: Reich in World War One, Hitler was injured in a
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: gas attack from the British. His eyes turned to Cole's.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: He went partially blind for years. Only later did he
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: regain full vision.
- 1:08:28Speaker 9: I've got it right here, page.
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: That I've known. I'm I'm surprised by your lack of
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: highlights and notes.
- 1:08:41Speaker 10: It's more dog eared.
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: I'm kind of taking more of the machino dorito approach
- 1:08:45Speaker 9: to all this very Are.
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: You still not? Are you still not tapped into mochino dorito?
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: I'm not.
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:08:53Speaker 9: I've had to talk to Rudy about this, because I've
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: know one to talk to. I've talked to about mochino dorito.
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: It breaks my god, damn heart.
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: Bro breaks my heart just thinking about it.
- 1:09:05Speaker 11: I hate you do it guys. You guys can keep going.
- 1:09:06Speaker 11: I gotta jump. I have a meeting.
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: All good.
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: That's a classics move branded branded content. Rob, No, mine's
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: for minds for work.
- 1:09:15Speaker 10: Yeah, what are you going to talk about? What are
- 1:09:17Speaker 10: you and Rob going to talk about?
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: We sold a series to.
- 1:09:24Speaker 11: A sponsor, so we need to figure that out.
- 1:09:28Speaker 10: What kind of series is it?
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: Well, the initial idea we had, we got to bang
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: out this ad before you go, Francis.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: I will, I will, but oh my god.
