"We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage..." - Readings for Sunday, 1/4/26
In this Sunday’s Gospel, Matthew tells us of the Magi who came to Herod in search of the King of the Jews. They were warned in a dream not to return to Herod, and went home by another way. The Magi are an example of what happens when we follow God’s commands. Sr. Ann has more on the Sunday readings:
Isaiah 60:1-6
Psalm 72:1-2, 7-8, 10-11, 12-13.
