- 0:25Speaker 1: Hi, am Welcome back to Pinky Boo Hauntings. I'm your
- 0:28Speaker 1: witchy host Shy, and I'll be your guide to all
- 0:32Speaker 1: things paranormal, weird and spooky. Happy New Year's officially twenty
- 0:39Speaker 1: twenty six. Can you believe it? Somehow we made it
- 0:43Speaker 1: through the insanity that was twenty twenty five. I want
- 0:47Speaker 1: to say, let's hope that twenty twenty six is better,
- 0:50Speaker 1: but we've been saying that for a few years now
- 0:54Speaker 1: and it just seems like it's not getting any better.
- 0:58Speaker 1: So to not jinx us, I won't be saying that.
- 1:03Speaker 1: If it does turn out better, awesome, But at this
- 1:06Speaker 1: point I think we all can agree that it's better
- 1:09Speaker 1: to not get your hopes up, at least not just yet.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Because I do feel like things are going to change
- 1:17Speaker 1: for the better. We just sadly have to write out
- 1:21Speaker 1: the madness first. And no, I'm not really that good
- 1:25Speaker 1: at predictions, so I could be wrong. I just know
- 1:30Speaker 1: my guid's from the start for keeping me calm in
- 1:33Speaker 1: a way that doesn't make sense for me. So while
- 1:37Speaker 1: I'm a stubborn bitch, I am trying to learn to
- 1:40Speaker 1: listen to them and trust them, something I should probably
- 1:44Speaker 1: be doing in all aspects of my life. But that's
- 1:48Speaker 1: not important right now. The point is I'm trying to
- 1:52Speaker 1: believe them more, and so I'm trying to keep calm
- 1:56Speaker 1: because my guys basically said, trust me, bro, that's all
- 2:00Speaker 1: I got from them. Oh and I'm sure you can
- 2:04Speaker 1: hear it in my voice. But I'm a little under
- 2:07Speaker 1: the weather, so please forgive my voice. But that's enough
- 2:14Speaker 1: of that for now. Why don't we get into our
- 2:16Speaker 1: first story. My daughter has just told me she has
- 2:22Speaker 1: been seeing the hat Man since she was seven. Happy
- 2:26Speaker 1: New Years, everybody, we're talking about the hat Man. I
- 2:29Speaker 1: couldn't resist picking this one after I read the title.
- 2:34Speaker 1: So last night I was talking to my daughter about
- 2:36Speaker 1: a dream I had just something we do. We find
- 2:41Speaker 1: it interesting. She is a good girl and is not
- 2:45Speaker 1: a liar. Not sure why, but glad she did. She
- 2:50Speaker 1: told me about a dream she had when she was
- 2:53Speaker 1: seven years old. She said, in her dream, she was
- 2:57Speaker 1: in bed asleep and heard a knock at the door.
- 3:02Speaker 1: She opened the door to see who was there and
- 3:05Speaker 1: described to me what I believe was the hat Man.
- 3:08Speaker 1: He was tall, shadowy figure with a top hat and
- 3:12Speaker 1: a trench coat. No features, just shadowy, dark mass in
- 3:17Speaker 1: the shape described. After opening the door, she said, he
- 3:22Speaker 1: walked through it and said thank you. Then she woke up.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I think from the shock. Well, that definitely sounds like
- 3:30Speaker 1: the hat man. I know this is a dream, but
- 3:34Speaker 1: even still, why let him in? She has also told
- 3:40Speaker 1: me of an experience of being at a fair recently,
- 3:45Speaker 1: lots of people around, walking with a friend, and a dark,
- 3:49Speaker 1: shadowy hand reached out to touch her head. She jerked
- 3:53Speaker 1: her head away and startled her friend in the process.
- 3:58Speaker 1: She says she sees shadows in her peripheral vision, often
- 4:02Speaker 1: sometimes head on, but only briefly, usually not at home. Well,
- 4:11Speaker 1: she for sure can see spirits. It doesn't seem like
- 4:17Speaker 1: she or you know, just sh but she can't see things.
- 4:24Speaker 1: She is understandably terrified and didn't want to tell me,
- 4:29Speaker 1: as she thought I'd never believe her. I feel that
- 4:34Speaker 1: she did tell her grandfather back when it happened. She
- 4:38Speaker 1: was living there at the time, long story, don't go there,
- 4:42Speaker 1: and he asked, did you let him in? She said yes,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and he proceeded to smudge the house and has done
- 4:51Speaker 1: so every week since. Well, at least Grandpa knows what's up.
- 4:57Speaker 1: The attempted grab at the fair was quite recent. Again,
- 5:01Speaker 1: she is terrified. As I said, she is not a
- 5:05Speaker 1: liar and she wouldn't make it up, as she knows
- 5:09Speaker 1: how we view spirituality. The hat Man is not something
- 5:13Speaker 1: I've experienced myself, but I do have the same experiences
- 5:18Speaker 1: with seeing the shadows in the corner of my eye
- 5:21Speaker 1: or in the corner of the room at nights sometimes.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Oh so you do see them too, Okay, at least
- 5:30Speaker 1: you guys can support each other. What is this? Should
- 5:34Speaker 1: I be worried? What do I do? Any insight would
- 5:38Speaker 1: be greatly appreciated. Please, even though I've dealt with the
- 5:44Speaker 1: hat Man before, I've got nothing what he really is,
- 5:49Speaker 1: why he does what he does, or how to deal
- 5:51Speaker 1: with him, and I would like to never deal with
- 5:55Speaker 1: him ever. Again, I'd say you can try some protections
- 5:59Speaker 1: and make it clear that he is not allowed to
- 6:01Speaker 1: mess with her or anyone else in your family. Can't
- 6:06Speaker 1: promise it will work, but it's always worth the shot,
- 6:11Speaker 1: all right. Onto the next The shadow Man in the
- 6:16Speaker 1: Hallway Again, I couldn't resist. I saw the title and
- 6:21Speaker 1: had to add it to this episode. I guess this
- 6:24Speaker 1: has kind of turned into a shadow People episode. I
- 6:27Speaker 1: don't usually post things like this, but I still can't
- 6:30Speaker 1: shake what happened last night. I had just gotten out
- 6:34Speaker 1: of the shower and went back to my room with
- 6:38Speaker 1: my hair still damp. I was sitting on my bed
- 6:42Speaker 1: scrolling on my phone when I looked up towards my window.
- 6:46Speaker 1: The sun had just gone down, so the glass had
- 6:50Speaker 1: turned more into a mirror than a window. That's when
- 6:54Speaker 1: I noticed something off. I don't like where this is going.
- 7:00Speaker 1: The hallway light was on behind me, and in the
- 7:03Speaker 1: reflection of the window, I could see part of the hallway.
- 7:08Speaker 1: At first, I thought it was just a shadow from
- 7:10Speaker 1: the light, but then I realized it was a shape,
- 7:16Speaker 1: a man's shape, broad shoulders, and a hat. Okay, did
- 7:20Speaker 1: I accidentally pick two stories about the hat man. It
- 7:24Speaker 1: wasn't standing in my doorway. It was farther back, like
- 7:30Speaker 1: it was standing at the end of the hall. I
- 7:33Speaker 1: told myself that it had been my imagination. I didn't
- 7:37Speaker 1: turn around. I just kept staring at the reflection, waiting
- 7:42Speaker 1: for it to fade. It didn't. A fucking course it didn't,
- 7:46Speaker 1: because it's the hat man. Slowly, way too slowly. The
- 7:52Speaker 1: shadow tilted its head like it realized I could see
- 7:56Speaker 1: it like it was looking directly at me through the glass.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You I'm getting cold chills right now. I felt my
- 8:05Speaker 1: whole body lock up. I couldn't breathe. I didn't blink,
- 8:10Speaker 1: I didn't move. The shadow didn't walk closer, it didn't disappear.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It just stayed there, head turned watching. I didn't know
- 8:21Speaker 1: how long it lasted. Seconds felt like minutes, Minutes felt
- 8:24Speaker 1: like forever. Finally, without looking away, I slid down and
- 8:31Speaker 1: pulled my blankets over my head. I stayed under the covers, shaking,
- 8:36Speaker 1: listening for footsteps that never came. I didn't come out
- 8:41Speaker 1: until I heard my cousin unlock the front door and
- 8:45Speaker 1: call my name. I never checked the hallway, and I
- 8:49Speaker 1: didn't turn the light off. I don't know what the
- 8:53Speaker 1: hell this was. I've never experienced crippling fear like this.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I don't know why it stared at me and did
- 9:00Speaker 1: nothing else. Has anyone else experienced something like this? All right, listen.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I picked this one because it was a shadow person
- 9:11Speaker 1: in the hall, and it reminded me of what I
- 9:14Speaker 1: saw when I was younger, kind of. I never thought
- 9:18Speaker 1: it would be this much like it, that paralyzing fear,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and how it felt like time almost stops. I had
- 9:25Speaker 1: all of this happen to me before, so yes, I
- 9:29Speaker 1: have experienced something similar, and I do think you saw
- 9:33Speaker 1: the hat man. Just be lucky it didn't attack you.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So feeling frozen like you can't move and time slowing
- 9:42Speaker 1: down like that is also a gross feeling. So maybe
- 9:46Speaker 1: not as lucky after all. I hope that was your
- 9:50Speaker 1: one and only time seeing that thing and he never
- 9:54Speaker 1: bothered you. Again, let's move on to our last story
- 9:59Speaker 1: for today. I assume this one isn't about the hat man,
- 10:03Speaker 1: but who knows. My child claims they saw the devil.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I said it was probably not the hat man. I
- 10:13Speaker 1: didn't say it wasn't something dark, well, maybe darker, depending
- 10:16Speaker 1: on your beliefs. I hope you didn't get your hopes
- 10:20Speaker 1: up that I was ending on something lighter. My child
- 10:26Speaker 1: is two years old and we have never had anything
- 10:30Speaker 1: like this happen to us. My wife and I laid
- 10:33Speaker 1: him down in bed, and about twenty minutes went by
- 10:38Speaker 1: and our daughter began to cry, so my wife went
- 10:42Speaker 1: in and got her. About ten minutes later, we made
- 10:47Speaker 1: her a bottle of milk and put her back in
- 10:49Speaker 1: her bed. After about five minutes, she began screaming like
- 10:54Speaker 1: a stuck a pig, like a what Okay, I had
- 11:03Speaker 1: to look that up because I don't know what that
- 11:05Speaker 1: was supposed to mean. I think it was supposed to
- 11:08Speaker 1: be a stuck pig. It's a phrase that's basically saying
- 11:12Speaker 1: someone is squilling loudly. Sorry about the ADHD side quest,
- 11:19Speaker 1: but I needed to find how what that was supposed
- 11:22Speaker 1: to mean. It was gonna dry me crazy. And hey,
- 11:25Speaker 1: now you might've learned something new as well. And you
- 11:29Speaker 1: guys thought you were here just to hear some spooky stories.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Speaking of that, let's get back into it. And then
- 11:37Speaker 1: her mama went in to see what had happened. She said,
- 11:42Speaker 1: the devil, And when her mama went towards the closet,
- 11:46Speaker 1: she started freaking out even more. This would all be
- 11:51Speaker 1: circumstantial in my mind, but when I went to pray
- 11:56Speaker 1: over the room, my holy Cross broke, which is may
- 12:00Speaker 1: out of steel. We are all shaken up and unsure
- 12:05Speaker 1: about our next steps. I'm not gonna lie. I doubt
- 12:12Speaker 1: it was really the devil in her closet. Don't get
- 12:15Speaker 1: me wrong. It's clear she's seeing something. But I just
- 12:19Speaker 1: don't think it was actually the devil. It seems like
- 12:23Speaker 1: you guys are fairly religious, so she probably picked something
- 12:27Speaker 1: up from that and when she saw whatever was in
- 12:31Speaker 1: her closet, she probably just assumed it was the devil.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I do believe something was scaring her. What, I don't know,
- 12:41Speaker 1: but there is something in that closet. As for what
- 12:47Speaker 1: to do, if you guys ever find yourself with something
- 12:50Speaker 1: messing with you like this, protect yourself. If that thing
- 12:56Speaker 1: is breaking steel, it's probably strong, so you need get
- 13:00Speaker 1: some protections around the house. Also, you need to put
- 13:04Speaker 1: your foot down and tell it it is not welcome
- 13:06Speaker 1: in your house, especially if it is going to mess
- 13:10Speaker 1: with the baby. But that's all I got for you today.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Now that we're past the craziness that is the end
- 13:17Speaker 1: of the year, I may go back to doing deep dives.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I do think I'll take a moment to get some
- 13:25Speaker 1: ready to go before I start them back up, just
- 13:29Speaker 1: so I have time to do the research and whatnot.
- 13:33Speaker 1: So they will be coming back. I just don't know
- 13:36Speaker 1: when yet. Oh and please don't forget to rate and
- 13:39Speaker 1: review the podcast. It really helps the cove and grow
- 13:43Speaker 1: as well as like and subscribe on YouTube, and, like always,
- 13:49Speaker 1: if you have a story of your own, send it
- 13:51Speaker 1: in the email. Will be in the show notes in
- 13:53Speaker 1: the description below, and hopefully in next week's episode. My
- 13:59Speaker 1: voice won't sound like this, but for now, the Covenant
- 14:05Speaker 1: is ajourned. See you next time. Bye,
